Police were responding to the report of a shooting on greenbelt road near Chelsea wood this happened on Thursday. They arrived, they found morning inside a car with a gunshot wound, he died at the scene, investigators say an argument between the two led to the shooting, white is being held without bond. Former Maryland Mayor Arrested, Faces Child Pornography Charges
"We're going to start with a story that is pretty disgusting. I'll be honest, but it needs to be covered and talked about. We're not going to spend too much time on it, but it needs to be talked about. Democrat mayor in Maryland arrested on 56 child pornography related charges. The mayor of college park, Maryland, Patrick Wu Jean, who's arrested Thursday on 56 child pornography possession and distribution charges. He's a gay activist, 47 year old gay activist, Democrat, faces 40 counts of hard to even read this. I'll be honest. It's so disgusting. It's vomit inducing, but it's real. So if you don't have the stomach for this, then I apologize. Possession of exploitive child material and 16 counts of distribution of exploitive child material, a press release from the prince George county police department set. Now, the national center for missing and exploited children were first alerted that the department had a social media account operating within the county was distributing quote suspected child pornography on February 17th, according to PGP and law enforcement deserves credit for working quickly and arresting a rather high profile Democrat. "There has been a deadly fire in prince George's county. This fire started around ten 30 last night at a home on Schultz road in Clinton, two people were taken to the hospital, a man was pronounced dead at the scene. In the district still a bit of a delay is expected in about 14 street bridge remain slow, once you get on the bridge, does move, again, it moves slowly, but no incidents report were in good shape currently on D.C. two 95 no incidents were reported over an I two 95 or inside the third street tunnel. "A fight at the great Frederick fair Saturday night. According to the Frederick county sheriff's office, deputies observed a large group of juveniles form inside one of the traffic Gates. The group was moved outside the gate by deputies and fair security, and that's when a fight broke out. Police say a boy was taken to the Frederick county law enforcement center and later released to a guardian, his charge will include second degree assault. Shortly after that incident, another crowd began to form and police say a girl from the crowd hit a deputy in the chest. The girl was taken into custody, her charges will also include second degree assault and resisting an interfering with an arrest via a juvenile reference. She was also released to her guardian, both have been banned from the Frederick fairgrounds. It's a problem that hides in plain sight, human trafficking, to historic sororities in prince George's county, are trying to bring awareness to the problem. The unite to fight human trafficking initiative is a partnership between local chapters of alpha Kappa alpha sorority and Delta sigma theta sorority. Some Maryland School Districts Requiring Proof of Vaccination
"Three Maryland school districts Montgomery, Prince George's and Howard counties. In a pre taped message to Prince George's County school employees, Dr Monica Goldson made the announcement All Prince George's County public School employees will be required to either show proof of vaccination. By Friday, August 27th or submit to weekly on site testing. "George's County Police responded to a shooting and police injury on Riggs Road in Hyattsville. Just after midnight. Police say they had pulled over a vehicle for a traffic stop on a male passenger began to get out of his car while reaching in his waistband. Washington DC area schools expect higher enrollment in fall
"Prince George's County has kids back in the classroom again on a hybrid schedule, But many students are choosing to stay all virtual and others have left the system altogether. School leaders think classrooms will fill out in the fall, though overall enrollment is down this school year in Prince George's County, we saw the con in a Roman of about 2000 students. But many of those who are younger students where their parents could actually do that all that home teaching experience. But Monica Goldson, the CEO of the County school system says that's likely to reverse back in the next school year. We're expecting that those families will come back, and we'll still see a percent about a 1% increase in student body as well. ‘Washington Teachers’ Union remembers president Elizabeth Davis
"Here. A double duty will be this morning on a deadly car crash in buoy on Route three. Oh, one both drivers involved have died. One of them was a Elizabeth Davis, the president of the Washington teacher's Union. He a modern day civil rights leader. Washington Teacher's Union General Vice president Jacqueline Pogue. Lyons said the union is devastated by the loss of President Elizabeth Davis. She worked as a teacher for more than 40 years and served as president of the Union for eight years. She was 70 years old. That's all she did was eat, sleep and breathe the rights of the teachers and the rights of the students in the district. Maryland's Charles County welcoming all students back to in-person learning
"Of kids are returning in. Some of Maryland's most popular school district's Anna Rondell Howard in Montgomery are among the Maryland counties were students are beginning to return. Prince George's county students won't return until April. Man found dead after Prince George's County townhome fire
