The station wagon. They got the license number, the car was still warm. Yes, I know I know. But then what are you trying to do? I'm trying to find out who killed a man in the candy store. By making a liar out of the best witness you've got who's making a liar. Well, you're trying to. Would you mind if we find out what the other three witnesses have got to say? Well, you don't have to be jumpy. I don't. I swear. Yes, lieutenant. Senator misses Evans. I'm sorry, Ben. Maybe a better put some more sugar in your coffee, huh? Okay. Okay, nobody remembers the second man everybody remembers the first. Everybody remembers the first. Everybody claims they recognize the guy as he came out the door. Running. Yeah, running. So maybe because they knew woke up on the station wagon, they jumped to identify him. We've had wrong identification before. Yes, but that's the station wagon. That's the car one of the hold up men jumped into. Four people four people three men and a woman claimed they recognized the guy. So suppose they really didn't get a good look at him. It was Walcott station wagon, still got the license number two of the other witnesses saw do chase the guy saw the wagon pull away one of them even identified the make of the wagon. Yeah? Certain crime on the phone lieutenant. Okay. Coins tanning George walker. As coin. You ever see the man? There was the address of the pool. Who's the girl? Paul? All right, stay with him. I'm going after a while. Oh, what do you got? I don't know. I don't want to check it. Coin says George walker admit a man in a pool room, talk with him for a long time, and then went over to see a girl named hall. It may be nothing, but I'm going to do some checking. Snicker in neurology. Hey, you know his brother. Nope. Didn't know I had one. A George met a man in here today, they left one across the street to get a shoe shine tough in man dark. Rooted, Rudy Garvin. He plays neurology. But George is a power armor. Rudy Garvin. You know him? Yeah. I don't like him. Slimy kind of a girl. He's a bad boy. Yeah, I kind of remember him. When you gave him a shy and tall thin dark man, brown jacket like pants. Yeah, yeah, I think so. I would a younger fellow brown hair. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Pay any attention to what they were saying, who knows how to shine shoes.

"Was the place to be walking happened to have the best Natural harbor on the western shore of Lake Michigan that includes Chicago historian and author John Girder tells me there were three main players during the pre Milwaukee era. Three businessmen who laid claim to three separate regions. Here. You'll recognize the name Solomon, Juno, Byron Kilborn and George Walker Walker on the south side of town. The water's point. Then you have these two heavyweights squared off firing Children on the West Side and Solomon's, You know, on the East side. None of these guys really liked each other, and it was obvious. Sure sign of that. They laid out their street system independently. There was no attempt Make them line up. That's why all the streets are funny in Milwaukee, and don't make sense. That's why the bridges downtown are all angles, so that explains it. Yep. Divisions were strong and heated. But it was this tense rivalry actually that led to the creation of Milwaukee. Here's what happened. The East Siders in Juneau town built the bridge over the Milwaukee River. It was easier and more convenient than taking a ferry over the river all the time. Well, those West siders and Kilborn town didn't like this bridge very much. 18 45. The West Siders wet their end of the General Avenue Bridge and used after the hatchet, then chopped off reports and collapsed in the middle of the river. So the East siders wake up in the morning and find out that they've been kind of landlocked. They can't cross the bridge anymore. So they retaliated by cutting off the West side. But you said the South so for a while no one could get anywhere in Milwaukee. The bridge war was Han. It was intense, their report Perhaps the possible about cannons being trained on Byron Kilborn Child. They were not just infiltrated. They came to blows. There's some violence. Blood was shed. People were hurt, but miraculously, bridge war.

"See the inauguration. We will carry it live on Katya. Our news. We'd love for you to be able to hear this. The The what we hope is going to be the peaceful transfer of power that has been the way it has been for a long as we've been a nation. There has been some presidents that have not gone to the incoming president's inauguration, as is the case here. We've never seen anything quite like what we're witnessing in D. C right now. Joining me is Gordon James from Gordon See James public relations and Gordon. How many inaugurations have you been directly involved in? Good morning. Mike. I've done for now grows beginning in 1989 with George Herbert Walker Bush and two for George Walker Bush and then Was a senior adviser for President Trump's last inaugural in 2020 17. Under normal circumstances, What goes what kind of security are we talking about? Because I was there for Trump's inauguration, covering it from the print press tent and security seemed very heavy then so it's always a very secure event. Oh, yes, It's a national security events. So it's just like the Super Bowl or anything else. It zvehr e planned out months and months in advance, and, uh You know it, Zapata the safest place in the world to be a two that moment when you see what's happening in D C. Now are you've got to be happy that you're not part of this 10. No. Mike, I would be honored to be a part of it. Really? It is, um uh, the end the inauguration of our president, You know, 232 years ago, when George Washington was inaugurated, and ever since then, every four years we've inaugurated the president, either seated president or an incoming president, and it is, say historical traditional American event. And I would be honored to be a part of it. What do you make? I don't want to force you into too many political comments. But what do you make of where we are now? And you were you worked with with George Herbert Walker Bush when he was vice president to Reagan. There is a huge a stark contrast in American politics between now and then. Well, Yes, there is. And, um, I this This is a very awkward time. Obviously, um Um George Herbert Walker. Bush was very gracious when they lost to President Clinton and Um it and they ended up forming of lifetime friendship. Um, I don't think that President Trump and President Biden. We're going to have the same relationship going forward. I don't I don't imagine we were and you know the the elections get on the process gets very contentious with the debates. We understand terrorists, their adversaries, and but there always seemed to be a way that former presidents Have kind of stayed out of what the current president is going through, because it's such a tight fraternity, and no one else in the world knows what that job is like. Even if you disagree with the policies, you understand what that person's enduring For for for sure. And, uh, the the Trump presidency has been a different than most. And so, um, Um, I think we're just hopefully continue on and wish the new president and his administration great success. When you look at what's happening in D. C right now, how dramatically different is what we're going to see tomorrow? Going to be from the viewers point is going to be much different from what we see or on the ground. It could be eventually different. But are we going to see something different than we normally see? No, I think what they've done and they were doing this obviously before January 6th, but With the pandemic. They had cut back the number of people that would be able to attend in person, so it's going to be a made for TV event and last night's display of flags and lighting on the mall was beautiful. I thought, and they did a very great job of that. And then the swearing in tomorrow at 12 o'clock, just a zit has been for 232 years will take place, and then they will. I believe they're not. There's not going to be a parade. The mall is closed. What's going to be a virtual day? Mobile. I believe there's going to be a concert tomorrow night that will be virtual made for TV event. Gordon, You are one of the most interesting people I've I know. And I love when you're able to tell stories about things that you've been involved with. When you look back in your years in D C and working with presidents, can you give me one event that stands out to you that you spent time that you kind of stood back and thought I can't believe I'm a part of this? Well, um, my clothes, you know, and January of 2004. President Bush sent me to Iraq for six months and When I got there I want in the world was a central high school kid doing in Iraq, working with the head of government and working that get ready to transition and and you know, we planned The transition of government that was to take place July 1st. We moved it up to June 29th because of such security concerns, but we patterned it off of the American and Agua. It was just exactly like that Prime Minister Allawi was Was sworn in and we have music and prayers and, um, he gave his speech. We actually wrote his oath of office for him. And we patterned it exactly after the American inaugural It's just a fact. Fascinating stories, your your office walls or, like an American history tour, and I really do appreciate you coming on this morning. I look forward to Ah Tau a peaceful inauguration tomorrow. I'm sure it will be perfect. Thank you, Mike. All right. Thank you. That is Gordon. James Gordon. See James Public relations offices here in Phoenix obviously grew up here and has been a part of so many of these inaugurations in the past and just wanted to get a little bit of perspective on what we're going to see tomorrow. To be honest, the way the feelings that tempers are flaring here, and I don't blame people that are upset about what's happening. But my prayer is certainly that we have a peaceful transition tomorrow and we can fight things out. Politically speaking, we can fight things out without being adversarial and in violent and that's the hope coming up in a moment, we're going to be joined by Gators to be Q poll Question of the day and just after nine o'clock, great news, Gonna talk about the people if you are 65 years old..

"I do want to point out just checking out our blogged Twitter has done label President Trump's tweet calling for press protestors to go home, during which he also Falsely claimed the election was stolen and fraudulent. Twitter's line. This claim of election fraud is disputed. This tweet cannot be replied to retweeted or liked due to a risk of violence. At the same time social media media Twitter in particular, has become such a part. Of the political process under this president and just 18 minutes ago, he did take to Twitter to put out this statement. It's a one minute statement. Let's listen in. I know your pain. I know you're hurt. We had an election that was stolen from us. It was a landslide election and everyone knows it, especially the other side. But you have to go home. Now We have to have peace. We have to have law and order. We have to respect our great People in law and order. We don't want anybody hurt. It's a very tough period of time. There's never been a time like this. Where Such a thing happened where they could take it away from all of us from me from you from our country. This was a fraudulent election. But we can't play into the hands of these people. We have to have peace. So go home. We love you. You're very special. You've seen what happens. You see the way others air treated that are So bad and so evil. I know how you feel. Go home and go home in peace. That was President Trump 19 minutes ago about a one minute statement addressing the protesters in the nation's capital, as we know the capital in lockdown after that pro Trump mob broke in Trump telling the supporters to go home. We did hear from President elect Joe Biden, saying Democracy is under an unprecedented assault Congress, of course, forced to halt the certification process of electoral votes, which started at one PM and just got about an hour and a half or so in before we started to see the problems at the nation's Capitol and the D. C mayor declaring a citywide curfew starting at 6 P.m.. Big failure. You just heard the president in his statement there, you brought up the 25th amendment. This is an amendment. When we have to ask whether or not the president is able to do his job at this point. What are the responsibilities of his administration, where the responsibilities of lawmakers members of his own party? In terms of determining where this president is right now. Well, if anything in that area it were to develop that would have to start with the Cabinet. The Cabinet would have to petition Congress and say that the president is no longer able to carry out his duties, considering the fact that he's only got two weeks left to nerve wracking weeks in my opinion. They may not go through that exercise, but you know, listening to him, Carol. You know this. This election was stolen. He won in a landslide. What about William Barr, the former attorney general, who said there was no fraud? What about dozens and dozens of judges on his butt buddies say on his way out. Yes, Yes, exactly. And you've had dozens of judges, many of whom, of course, were appointed by Trump. Laughing these cases out of their courts. So for if Trump keeps saying this, I worry that people may actually believe it if he keeps repeating it over and over again, But the facts are there was no significant fraud in this election. On right, and numerous courts, including the Supreme Court weighed in on that I do want to point out Josh Holy, the Republican from the state of Missouri senator, the first senator, in fact, to announce he planned to object. To Joe Bynes electoral votes out with a statement that doesn't quite indicate he's backing down. According to our team. Here's the statement. Thank you to the brave law enforcement officials who have put their lives on the line. The violence must end. Those who attacked police and broke the law must be prosecuted, and Congress must get back to work and finish its job. Laurie Davison and you're still with us. What does that mean for you and your job and what you might have to deal with once things get back to quote unquote normal. You know that Just that Holly doesn't say there whether she will, you know, continue his objections or not. I was just reading that same statement. But it sounds like hey, is not backing down. And he will. He will continue his objections, which which means that one. You know this this deliberation This process goes on for several more hours. You know, having a several hour delay here could push this, You know well into the wee hours of tomorrow, or even the day tomorrow, So you think they could actually come back tonight? They may. There has not been a declaration. But if they do you know this they've got, you know 68 10. You know who knows how many hours ahead of them going forward, but that would it will create a very, very tense Feeling in the chamber and just imagine lawmakers going back in. You know, just a couple hours ago, there were protesters in the Senate chamber. You know, seating at the chair, you know, Declaring Trump is the victor. I just bringing lawmakers back into to debate something that will divide lawmakers and in the Senate, there are more than enough votes to secure victory for providing there, but it will be a tense But attends argument that will that will play out. Yeah, And here's a statement from George Walker of Neuberger Berman well known to the financial community, one of almost 200 CEOs who signed letters from the Partnership of New York City to ensure a peaceful transition, his statement saying Today's events are heartbreaking. But sadly, not surprising, he said. I, like other CEOs have been doing all we can for months to call for a smooth transition of power..
