And this was not part of any plan, but it's amazing because now you have guys who can eat innings once again, Michael king and sebrina come in last night. Kluber doesn't last 5. And then you have you have a competent group of guys who can pick up the slack and give you multiple innings and not have you throwing 5 relievers or 6 relievers for the last 5 innings because your four or 5 innings because that's just really untenable. And that's how you get the tired bullpen. And that's how you get Chad green, coughing up a 5 run lead against the Astros in right before the all star break. Don't know how many times we have to stress how important it is to keep these guys rested and utilize them in the proper times. I know it's hard. I know the baseball season is a marathon, but sometimes this isn't the decisions are very obvious in front of your face. We talked about severino coming in. Because if it were, let's say Nestor Cortez junior is getting bombed all September. I love him. I love the story. I love what he's giving us. But I definitely don't have full faith in a mental checkbook to be like, masters got October. He's been good his whole career in October. Like there's no, you know, I've got nothing to reference. Cole I know is Derek Cole. Nothing changes that you can't say that losing his substances ruined his season, potentially, it's messing with his mind a little bit now. It's probably something that's in the back of his head at all times. But his numbers since the sticky substance band, he's up to like a 4.15 ERA or something, but he's up to he's past 6 in September because of whatever else is bug him. "Year for them to be consistently hitting Just hitting a wall and getting on base the starting pitching also turn itself around so that's also a positive for me but now you have one more homestand. Six games three against the yankees. Three against the orioles these type of sluggish performances. Where the offense doesn't get going and you know. Starting pitchers don't pitch while and against teams that they should be that that's got to stop it. It's got to be passed by this point now and i think it's two crucial for them to go through this. Nothing's gonna top what we're about to go through this past week but definitely a couple or a lot of positives. I guess coming out of the series near the second half of the series which is good news and kind of gives you some confidence heading into this last homestand against the yankees starting on tuesday night. Yeah george springer get going is so so huge for the blue jays and you know we talked about previously but the question of whether to move him down from the leadoff spot was a legit question and give his health and his issues with that. It was obviously something that had to be considered. But what we're seeing now and what we've seen in the past with him. You know progressing taking off that bulky knee brace and replacing it more with a niece sleeve that he can still have as a high socks on and moving into center field indicates that he's healthy and that's what matters like even if his bat wasn't there in this series of the last two games of the series. It's still wouldn't matter to me because we've seen that he getting more healthy and it's going to come with time that's the thing. It was always gonna come with time if he was healthy if he wasn't healthy that's where the concern lies but now that he's healthy. If you're the blue jays and your bluejays fans all you can really do is focused on winning. And if they win maybe they pick up a game if they lose maybe they lose a game. That's i think the only thing that we can focus on. So i know scoreboard watching his fun. But i think the only thing that the blue jays can do is focus on their own scoreboard.
