"Back to the Jimbo Hannah chod one 8 6 6 5 O Jimbo one 8 6 6 5 O 5 four 6 two 6 and we're talking with Sean Walsh from the consulting firm Wilson Walsh George Ross consulting about the midterm elections which are coming up And the impact that that can have on the country And the mindset of Democrats to apparently well it almost done to me like Marie Antoinette you know let them let them eat cake Let them fill up their tanks with the $7 a gallon gasoline I mean it's remarkable The extent to which they not only are out of touch but don't seem to mind Spot on I mean in California it's devastating Look we're no joke We're a state where people drive their cars to work And so even though unemployment numbers are down and you've got some wages that are up it's all being eaten alive You can't even buy steak at a Costco now because it's too expensive So it is let them eat cake I will tell you another thing too Jim and you mark my words We saw a horrible horrible shooting incident in Sacramento last weekend And so the crazy crazy policies that have been instituted across this country to attack our police officers and to say that they're terrible people and they need to be prosecuted Well there have been some abuses and that needs to be dealt with But they've gone so far to the left They let people out of California We have a get out of jail free pass now for people and based on those policies to give people released early on their sentences and our liberal parole board a person who should have been in prison was let out and he was a gang member and he took a gun and shot up 6 killed 6 people and injured ten others in Sacramento And I think this country is going to look and see the crime rates that have happened in Baltimore and all across this country and say you know what We're letting criminals out of prison It's gone too far We need to put people back in here are going to protect our homes and protect our families So it's not just the economy It's quality of life in the cities and counties that we're living in across this country Here's the call from Marlin in San Francisco good evening Marlin Good evening Jim bob I understand what you're saying what's going on with California and I agree Now regarding to the inflation a little history here is like during The Great Depression is blamed for this depression by the public And also with Obama with the recession and also with reggae doing a high inflation and now we have President Biden with the inflation boost shortage and gas right increased So my question to you is the people still blame President Biden because it inflation and food shortages If so why It's happening on his watch for one thing I'll grant you that presidents don't determine prices Or the economy even the chair of the Federal Reserve it doesn't have that kind of power Of course if presidents control the economy they would never be such a thing as a recession So I understand what you're saying but it's happening on his watch and he has pursued policies which certainly haven't helped in it I mean massive excessive spending does not help curb inflation but I'll defer to Sean Walsh Well I will tell you that I do think there's a significant amount of blame Number one we paid people during COVID and coming out of COVID not to work which then put increased pressure on employers to raise wages and to raise those wages I think it was part of the Democrat effort to try and have a $15 national minimum wage They basically controlled or tried to control the labor market So the wages went up to people that are going to working in fast food and other restaurants But the prices went up and they were passed along So all of those increases in the pocketbook now have gone out the window and people are hurting even more with regards to energy policies California is an energy island We don't connect to the rest of the country We get most of our energy from imports from around the world even though we have a very robust domestic supply in California Democrat policies have been in such that we try and do greenhouse gas emissions and put pressure on that and before the country is ready to be electrified in their cars And so now you see a crisis at the pump You see pipelines that are shut down So where we.

"The Apprentice with the financial diva Wednesday, the 17th again If you want to know more about that you could go to the chapel would financial Web site or call 34809093480909. Do you think taxes will be going up, George? Access will be go. It depends Think taxes weren't along a big gamma to say taxes for home. That's true, definitely probably for the oil industry and or maybe even the gun industry. Uh, maybe I noted, noted, I don't I don't see that the tax is gonna go up the gun industry well again. I don't know whether it's hard to say what the relationship ship is between people buying guns and what's going on in the world. But I don't do taxes. There will always do well, people, I think now will probably want more protection. So I anticipated the gun manufacturers will do extremely well. It might be in there good area to think of investing in because everybody is very nervous about fourth course going on. Especially what happened then. Washington over over January 7th. So it's ah as far as the others. That's that's that's a guess. And I wouldn't bet against it. I wouldn't bet for it. It's not my cup of tea to invest it, But I think basically would be a good investment. I would think what we degrade investment is as far as I'm concerned, is any company that you to technology. Because I think the services there have to be A lot better than they are now and they are. They are good, so there's going to be bore surveillance. There's going to be need for data. It's gonna be all that secure. I think they have Ah, tremendous opportunity, and I think that the growth will be here they have were in the past. I think even more so. Because it's all tied in to getting better reporting of data. And understand the same thing would with was called it. The data reporting or data has been slow. And a little vory. Destroy him. Now that's gotta stop. Not only for covert, but just generally, you're gonna have to have more daughter Donna have to go faster and you're gonna have to have the software and the hardware that can handle that flow. George Ross is where this any comments on the recent controversy about short sellers. Can't it Z? Not with the recent controversy? Yeah, I do, because I like it always went a little guy with short sellers. The whole concept. Short selling, I think should have greater scrutiny. The idea of selling something you don't know that never intended to have never intended to own and make a profit on it to me is wrong. In other words, that's pure gambling and pure gambling on something you don't have. For example, if you had a piece of property, and I said, I'll tell you what, I'll show it, sell it, and I never intended to buy it. And I can't buy that. I think that's that's wrong. I think what happened? It is this Short selling is really a vehicle for the hedge funds. They make a pot full of money on it and the banks and so had made a possibly because it's a pure gamble. But I also understand that it's a protected gamble because they buy protection. On the downside. But the company the insurance company to protect the downside data, ones that get left holding the bag. George Ross's financial people. Is they convict rape protect themselves by saying I can't be Get to get be hurt If there's a big loss because my losses are limited by my contracts with the with the company says if it goes down further than that, you pay me so it's pure gambling. You're gambling without it was buying and selling something you never you never wanted you never intended to buy, but somebody else has a market for it. You know George Ross from the Apprentice. He will be attending the diva and friends, virtual speaking Syriza coming up on Wednesday at 3 32 5 30. That will be an opportunity for you here from George Ross. "Katie. Okay, but for now, greetings, George Ross. Hi. How are you? Good to have you along now. I mean, there's been so many ups and downs in real estate. What With the pandemic and everything else. What can we expect in 2021? I'm a little nervous. Well, that's where this would really state has always got ups and downs. So it's there. Always cycles go on. Of course, this one is maybe artificially induced because of the pandemic. But it always goes up and down and the thing to remember for anybody in real estate over a period of time. It always goes up. Because it takes it also covers inflation and it and it has a tendency to go upto. The question is, Can you hold it really time to overcome a bad cycle? If you can. The answer is fine. Go do it. What you can expect in a safari. 2021 is concerned, and this year is I think there will be a substantial change in business in businesses and where investment should go. You're many businesses, which are up and coming will be very good as a result of what what is going on in Washington under the Biden administration, whereas there are other businesses which will suffer so oil and gas is probably gonna have a problem. But any of the ancillary businesses that are involved such as pharmaceuticals is gonna rise like crazy. They have to. Because there's everything is going on with the farmers with the drugs. The pharmaceuticals aren't they did her involved with covert and the the the fact that you need safe areas and you need cleaning and that kind of things. Those were all gonna go gonna go up. So, they wrote. It's a question of putting your money in the areas which I think we'll have. Both will have great growth and 2021. But overall, I think the market will be will be very strong because they're going to pump so much money in it. George Ross's sorry. Go ahead. My feeling, right? Yeah. I said they're gonna pump so much money and it is going to go somewhere. George Ross is with us stink on NewsRadio. 1000. Katie. Okay. He will be in the diva and friends, Virtual speakers, Syriza on Wednesday. The 17th will give you some instructions about how you can attend coming up. I'm no expert, George. But just in my casual observation For instance, I rent some property on a lake front on the way out to that lakefront. A year ago, there were three or four or five places that were for sale, and we're talking quarter million half million million dollar properties and they were swallowed up this time last year between February and May of last year, they were swallowed up in no time and I thought that remarkable considering the pandemic. Yep. I think you'll find him or I think the the desire of people to go toe areas which are not highly congested is a result of the pandemic. So I think you're gonna find more. That was a nice, elated place or maybe on a lake or something, which is not in the big city. I think that's what you're going to find, And I think that they will be very, very much in demand. There is plenty of money. There are people would say, Hey, I had enough of the Big city. Let me move somewhere where I can stretch out to go fishing but do whatever else it wants, but a quieter environment than what you would have in the hectic big cities. I think that's a change, which is taking place. And I think it Z going. It's certainly going to continue. I can say honestly, this point I lived on Ah, in Long Island on. I think the Big houses, which were available just are going like crazy. There is more of a market for everybody wants wants to go. They want to get out of the city. They want to go to an area so they pick an area which is not too far from the city, but also has a nice feeling about it. You know, like a comfortable neighborhood. I think that's what you find what I find here, and I think that that's prevalent throughout the United States. His name is George Ross, and he's going to be featured with the diva and friends virtual speaker Syriza on Wednesday. By the way, if you want to go you can and see him in person and ask questions from the financial wood from from Chapel would financial services and all you have to do to learn more is called 34809093480909 to see the apprentices George Ross on Wednesday from 3 32. 5 30. A curious thing has been happening here in Oklahoma and I don't know. If you've seen this nationwide, but there's a lot of property, especially in the eastern part of the state rural property that is being swallowed up by Chinese investors. For the purposes. I'm told of cultivating marijuana and canopy oil products. Makes sense to me A. Are they to your knowledge, producing this to send back to China? Or are they trying to capitalize on the American? I have no knowledge whatsoever Market in pot that I don't know participant and I don't have it, but as far as a investment is concerned Think any product and he said product, which which has grown in the United States, which has a market somewhere is a is an certainly something that's very desirable. I think you're going toe. There's gonna be a big need for for products. And they certainly think that maybe marijuana is the answer. I think it is too. It's being accepted in many, many states, so there is going to be a need for it and what better place to put it in somewhere? There's got a lot of open land so you don't have to hide it anymore. Now it's in it could be in the open. It totally visible. Well, some of these rural counties they're starting to see property values go up more than they expected. Yes, that's true. Yeah. George Ross is with us on he is, you know him on the Apprentice, but he is also an adviser. Could the economy grow while the market is declining? I mean, there's a lot of nervousness about what the Fed may do and what they mean. I don't I don't understand what you said. What are we talking about? Market is growing in the economy is declining. Economy is not really declining, artificially depressed. It is not declining. Another. Was it? Yeah, The answer is, yes, It's it's temporary and with assuming that they get some kind of Ah, hold on the cove it which it looks like They're going to get its going to rebound in Spain tremendous growth because he's been held back artificially. It's not the people don't have money. They have money and they will have even more with if the incentives goes grew from both from Washington, you're gonna have a lot of people are gonna have a lot of dollars they never had before. And that's going to go somewhere gonna be spent. Well, if it's going to be spent, where they spend it now, you've got to question that changing. They're going to spend it in in areas There's will improve the economy. So you did. I think there'll be a tremendous rebound. Slow as soon as this covered the situation that has some kind of resolution. And we've got an exclusive opportunity for you to hear from George Ross, World renowned real estate investor business coach, attorney author and star of the hit reality TV show..

It was really important, and I just failed to put it on my calendar or failed us. Let's be honest sending to Shelly to put on my calendar. Now I just tell her put this on my calendar and put to be determined. I Wylie I really want to participate. But, you know, so get it on the calendar, because when I don't then I have a tendency to something really important. If you can't make it. You don't find someone who will watch it for you and then take good notes. You know, so that you can you know you don't miss out on that You could video of two bit. You could you could actually video. Well, that's true. That's right. Just don't set your phone up record record, the zoom or something like that. And you know if you're just joining us, we've been talking about SG investing. And you know, diamond you talked about. You know the benefits in some of the things that that People have talked to you about, like climate change and those kinds of things for the investor that you get. I just love the controllers, you know. So while I control to absolutely and You know, as it has this kind of investing grows, there are gonna be some funds that benefit and you know, we're coming up on a break here, so we might want to. We're going to continue this conversation here. But you know what? Because I think this is best thing because I want to hear about it. Absolutely right. It just I want to hear about something more than why don't we do that? You know, we'll we'll hold everybody get a pen and paper. Because we're going to share with you some actual funds. Okay, So a lot of these investment options. There are funds that you can invest in that invest in these. A broad array of these companies that you know are focused on one thing or another environment or social issues or even governance issues policies. "Or share with them. You know, this is a real value to me, and it's very important to me. So you need to express that. You don't have to. I'm just saying it's there for you and you if it's really tugging at your heart strings. If it's really a value to you then and I can think of a particular Client that got into some gambling issues. Of course. They needed to say this far away from gambling is possible. And yet they had gambling in their portfolio gaming. It's what we call it there and you know it was It was a struggle for them at the time, whether not just supporting, so everybody had it. Maybe just something personal. It just may be in its okay. I just recommend that you do it a little analysis and say Okay, if Let's take it out. And then if I do what, let's do a projection. What can I project and then you get to make the decision How important it is to. Absolutely now this might be something we ask. George George Ross and our event next month coming up here. Great question than asking. That s O feels about social impact. That's exactly right. And, you know, I mean, it's becoming more more more prevalent. So yeah, if you're wondering Well, George Ross, who? Well, George Ross is one of the stars Notorious, That's right. One of them, You know, I feel so inadequate when I say Victoria's friend because Charles. Pain is your friend George Ross is your friend. Tell us how you heard about it. For you. It's gonna be the radio show right? And then you've got it and you'll get a personalized link, and that's coming up. February the 17th. That is a Wednesday afternoon from 3 30 to 5 o'clock, so it's 90 minutes of goodness and fund And education and information. They wanted to continue with the George pay. I mean, Charles, Spain, I thought, you know, that's a long time I run a half. I thought and it was like it went by like that. Everybody was asking questions. We finally had to just kind of go. Good. Let Charles go. It was it was like way can't go till 10 o'clock tonight. Ladies and gentlemen, even though Charles probably would, and that's the thing is like, you know, you go online and George does these interviews and they're like three minutes long. You interviewed him earlier last year, you got an hour out of and it wouldn't surprise me if he decides to say I Yeah, sure. Let's do three hours. And here it was really a lot of fun. So if you're just joining us you're listening to it's all about the money. Honey here, right here on news radio 1000. My name is Victoria. What's my clients, friends, listeners and readers. Social Media followers. Call me the financial diva. I'm joined by the king of finance himself, Mr Damon King. He's a wealth management specialist. And today we've been sharing seven mistakes that people when hiring a financial adviser, You know, we don't want you to make. There's these seven. Things that we don't want you to know. We're always talking about the positive. These are things we want you to do today. We're talking about things. We don't want you to do T keep you out of trouble. We want to continue talking about the mistakes of hiring. The wrong adviser. So there's so many. Um, things that you can do. But Damon choosing an advisor with the wrong specialty. We've really kind of covered that with the doctor. And when you were talking about okay, you've outgrown your pediatrician, you know, and you go to your primary doctor and the doctor says, Well, you know, you've got a skin disease here, sir. I was thinking about my dermatologist for centuries. And that you know, here's and well, I don't have one. Well, the doctor's going to give you a recommendation for a dermatologist doesn't mean you have to use them. I will give you a recommendation because they're in the industry. You may ask a friend for a recommendation. You may ask. You know your brother in law for recommendation, and then you go interview those three people. You go online. You research him. You say all this. Okay? Maybe I don't have already eliminated one. I'm gonna go talk to two of us. And get the information that you need for your specifics. OK, if you ladies Ladies will understand the statement. If you ladies are looking for a little we call it a little tweak little nip and tuck her little tweak. What do you do? You say my eyes are really bothered me. So you're gonna call And when you do the interview, call the doctor's office and say, you know, what do you specialize in? Oh, they may say, Well, we specialize in breast implants. You go. Okay. Next, you know you eliminate them. It's simple. There's like no, no, no. Oh, next when you call his specialty. Dr X. A specialty is in next Okay, Well, I'm talking about my eyes here. Okay, Then you call another one. It says Erin Dr Aaron, Because she is she specializes in ice. I happen to know this. I've done research. I have girlfriends. She's the eye specialist. It's the same with banks. They are specialized in something. Everybody in town. When you find out they'll say they do everything. There's people that specialize in loaning money to Dennis. There are banks that specializing in car finance their our specialties in land deals. There's one bank that if you're going to a real estate deal, they got you. They get it. They understand. You don't go to the people that are specializing in dentists. Your business. You know, it's really just common sense. You have to know what your needs are those. Oh, you want to know what it is that you specialize in. So if you're just starting out, let me use this example all the time. If you're just starting out in $700 a month. That's totally different need than somebody that has, you know, saved their million dollars. Got a half a million or a million dollars or whatever. Yeah, and you know here's the thing is that there's You hear these commercials going around, you know from other advisers that say, Well, you know you will work with you. You know, they say you're not good enough because you don't have half a million dollars. It isn't a question of you being good enough. Okay. It's a question of We deal with people in retirement and what you were dealing with in retirement, and the advisors is completely different than someone who's 2030 40 years old in the prime of their career and still pumping that 401 K. At 403 B full of ammunition for retirement because Yeah. Do you do you need a full service financial advisor in your twenties and thirties? Mom? I don't know..

Oh, well, thank you were like I said, we are honored. What is either the funniest most fun memory may be the most or maybe most bizarre thing that you personally for you that you thought happened on the show while you were the right hand man of Donald Trump. That's interesting. First of all, you understand that the show was never was never never lied. It was taped, right? No script of any kind. They could cut anything that they wanted out of it. You never know how the episode would come out with 11 episode one things that shouldn't my mind. It was the uh be contestants has gotten down to four people. On defectively. The task. Woz that they had to get hold of a song. Songwriter had to have it recorded. Played on the air on and effectively the listening audience because it was sounding like radio. The listening audience would say which one they liked in the ultimately that would be the perfect contestants that one So that was the task which was going on so When I look what got briefed on basically what the task was. I should wait with this will make you look into this once. What's it all about? And I knew nothing about satellite radio. Nothing. I mean, I was in radio five many years. It could be national could be all over and the premium one was serious. And I find out that they have a whole bunch of different channels, which they put in your rooms Don't drive with different type of music and style. Or what have you the music, which they have? "Afternoon. I've had thirst and we're talking about re naming things that have been named in honor of someone. And you know the reason this comes up. There's two reasons. One is because the Cleveland Indians are changing their name. They're going to stop calling themselves the Indians. Um, I support that I supported when the Redskins took that name away. Although I will tell you this. One of the things we have to be concerned about is the sensitivity of people are offended by this. There was a survey done. I don't know how many surveys were done. But the most recent survey that was done Of people of Native American heritage over 90% said that they were not offended by that term. Um there are schools Native American schools, whose teams Call the Redskins. The Redskins, according to my former guest, who was here. He told me that they used to paint themselves with a red dye before going out into battle. And that's why they call themselves Redskins. Then again. There's no question that it was used as a horrible, hateful epithet by white people in this country that it was akin to calling someone a savage. That they were below human, you know, So you have to weigh those two things out. And I think you know I've of course I'm I'm white. But I I'm offended by that term. I don't like that term. I was glad they dropped that term. And I think that a certain sensitivity is important. When you're talking about people like George Washington, and you're talking about a Franklin Roosevelt and you're talking about Abraham Lincoln. I have very different perspectives on that Sir Francis Drake Boulevard in Marin County. One of the major thoroughfares there. Yeah, sir Francis Drake was a slave trader. Of course, it should be renamed Drake High School. Of course that should be renamed. Because that is who that person Woz When you're talking about some of these other individuals, there are complexities that have to be taken into consideration because nobody's perfect every single person. Is flawed. 80 88 10 is the telephone number eight oa oa 10. We're gonna begin with Jack calling from San Leandro Jack. Hi. Welcome to kg own. Thanks for holding on Hello. Hi, Jack. You're on the air. What? This exact Justin job. Oh, I'm sorry. John John in San Leandro. Hi. Right. How you doing that? I'm doing something. You wanna say that? Yeah. I just want to say that now, after you understand, I can understand your position. But what the way I see it like this. Okay, Let's talk about George Washington first. Okay, Okay. We have drug blocks. You're halfway to do all this, but these very black people. He's very slaves helped American healthy White George watching Wednesday independence Yes. Soon as they got their independence. They do everybody every black person back in this land. Lee, we fight for your independence, but we don't keep us away. Okay. Were you talking about Rose? Well, you said you didn't want to do when you said Martin Luther King with the perfect not Mr King wasn't perfect, but he was the perfect to his wife. He wasn't He didn't do that to a group of people. He didn't do that every black person of the confidence, even the great every white person of the top of it. These guys have George Washington. Well, every president system always to Abraham Lincoln and the couple of more after Abraham Lincoln. All these guys and there's one more thing there's one more favor. Okay, if you look at Hitler and his top echelon All of them didn't hate June's couple that was married to do. I don't love you didn't hate you. So we name which we name something that well, he was Hitler. He was a guy, but he hated Jews are the years he has just hate Jews, So I think we should be honored. Really, you know, really? Of course, Of course, of course up because they were they were participants in in the genocide. They were participants participants in allowing Hitler to remain in power. Pardon me, George Ross. What was George Washington? Well, let me tell you a couple things about George Washington because again, it's complicated. George Washington. Not complicated. You know, he did it or he didn't. Even range on our side. Okay. Are you saying things there? Either He enslaving people, or he didn't is that? Is that the question? Not only that he is right people, but he used the very people that he has strayed to help him win in the dependence going back in the slavery. You know you said you justify you could justify them. You'll find some reason. Some logic just say Okay, Well, he does this. That was a bad thing. But he was the father of our country, but had the father of my fucking used news the very people that he had dressed to want me Father. Other copies as this con trick. I just disagree with you that I love you. I just disagree with you on this one. You know what? I'm doing Everything I can. I am fine with that. But I think, but this discussion is the important discussion. The fact that we talk about this because George Washington's history's complicated the same way. Abraham Lincoln's history is complicated. George Washington wasn't just the father of our country. He was the leading general. Who actually was responsible for the entire nation being established. He was the person who stepped down after having served as president for two terms because he wanted us to understand the importance of the peaceful transition of power, which has been threatened. This year. George Washington was on amazing man. Who did enslave people. And yet George Washington also went through some changes George Washington in his will, and that's that I get it. It's after he died, but George Washington in his will released his slaves, and Martha was to release her slaves at the time that she died to free them to free those slaves at the same time. George Washington spent a whole lot of time and manpower going after a woman who was a runaway slave to bring her back into slavery. So, Yeah, it's a complicated, difficult history. Slavery was a reality that existed and most of the founding fathers were participants in that horror that evil that existed. And a lot of people were participants in that horror. As I said, Sir Francis Drake was a slave trader. You know, he brought them from Africa who was selling them in Africa..
