"Maybe this isn't the right thing to do for showcased, but I'm killing him the laughing I'm drinking onstage that he leaves, and I don't see him. You know and I'm like. Where did this guy go? I. Don't know who you're looking for a year later almost to the month. I. Get a call and any says to me. Are you still interested in this idea like I? Don't even know what could talking about what idea you know. My my my producing partner, and I have an idea that you could be interesting for well. We found out it was Sandra bullock and Sandra bullock came to see me at the Brea Improv. Imagine getting Sandra Bullock to leave her house above Marmara by Jimmy Kimmel loose and to drive the sixty five miles to the bread Improv to sit there on Thursday to watch me. And she did an as she said, follow me, and as she was following me. To see those headlights just veer off was to fucking far yeah, and she came and she saw me. And we had a meeting. And we started to have more meetings than that became my show. And the that show like I don't think people realize that you know. It went into syndication and almost became bigger in syndication. Right became syndication. Yeah, it was up against American idol the last three years people love that show. NICKELODEON picked it up my goal. Ultimately you know. When we started to do the show and looked like we might syndicate my goal for me. Personally was to get the number for syndication. We were at one twenty, also to to be an production and syndication at the same time, and the only reason the show didn't come back. Yeah, his alleged allegedly the president. President of ABC at that time was having relations with several actresses, and his decisions were not based on performance of shows, but they were based on where he could put these particular people into shows allegedly, and then two years go by the guy is now. A winemaker sends me a case of wine with a card. That says you know I know you're upset with me. We don't. We haven't talked you chance to give me a call. I called him and he apologized for not picking my fucking. Show up on my, you know. What good look good does that? Do me now you? Were telling you. That should two years ago. So. That's by did go away. No that was doing my talk show. As long as as long as there's somebody out there with an ax to grind, and and they make they make a move on always I'll. I'll be successful show, but the thing is like the George Lopez, show. You know it had it was. It was doing all right? You're on a lot of years, right? But then like it was one of those things where in syndication picked up a whole new audience, a young people I guess and then. And so is that where you really became because I'm just curious because. I watched a new special. We'll do it for half I. Just watched it, and it's pretty clear that you know you. One of these people like you know you kind of a an inspiration and a role model and a and a guy who speaks to the Latino community in a very personal way, so I imagine that groundwork laid with the Dole pest show right like. You know it's funny that you know when I first started to show up. Know my wife had a higher opinion of me when we were married. Then we were divorced and she was usually works. That's usually how. Don't kid yourself you. You're a draw like I. Only work on the West side of Texas and over here so all of that stuff was new, and in the beginning I wasn't political at all, and as I started to look at things in the community, and I started to have a voice specials, and starting to take on politicians in politics that started to lose a lot of people who would save of any particular color that they liked me before i. political rather than. Than you know with the wall that we did two years ago in DC live with all the trump stuff like you know really became a wedge through. You know both sides. Where people would you know? Send me messages and thread my life all anonymous to by the way shared, so you know I didn't grow up the toughest dude, but anybody who threatens my life anonymously is more than what will become threatened me when I i. am like that should don't scare. Would you find? Are you finding that like within the Latino community. There's you know there's a fight because it seems like there's definitely two types of Latino voters. There's three types. The type that vote and there's a type that are Republican who look at look down on everybody, and then there's a type that could give a fuck, and then there's another type that aren't citizens and they vote, so you know I would always say that it's up to us who can vote to be a voice for the workers that can't vote right so those things became clear when you look at December you know either putting people in camps, and then in the middle of April. They consider all of the farmworkers essential workers listen. Nobody wants to do that Shit. For Fun or for profit it's a fucking hard job to do. And instead of being ridiculed and rounded up when you're taking your kids to school that association respect they show up every day, and not only feed your family, but they feed their selves to that feed their own family, too. Yeah, and then there'd be used to being used as pawns by these monsters and I became the guy that talked a lot of shit that. Hey you know you. You made quite a successful yourself in this country, and if you don't like it here, stop bitching and Bugger go back to Mexico up for generation. From! Mexico and I really don't even know anybody in Mexico now. Have you ever been there? I've been there but I bought a house in Hawaii in the two thousand and four through twelve I lived in Hawaiian is why wouldn't you buy Mexico? Mexicans. Grew up around one of the fuck, you WANNA look and go around I. wanted to get away from them. Which Island did you have? In late night before Larry, Ellison Body as nice about my house Madison. We. Got Divorced I have huge as house. You'll twelve thousand square foot house in Hawaii that you know. I got left in the the separation. You got that house paying, property tax. GonNa Bring my friends beautiful house, and when Larry Ellison buys the. Land of the island he thought. Where's this? Guy GonNa live. My House. He was he was, he was kinder been TBS. You know he's like tbs was like you got thirty six hours. Get the fuck Outta here. At least gave me forty eight to make a decision head da good, though the good. When did you get sick man? I got sick. You know it's funny because. I was born with a narrow your orders, which I found later was as a A. Case of being born early. You're just didn't you know on develop properly so What are your? What are your orders? What wear from the bladder? The the tubes that take the urine from the bladder through the kidney out, so you can. They were narrowed. They were narrow and what it did was it made me have to bathroom a lot here, but then, but then if I held it in which I did a lot. You're back in that urine into your kidneys and your poisoning yourself. No. That's why when kids hold it. You're really back in. That was years old that you're in Beckenham, my kidneys, which which damaged them, and then it wasn't you know much like the Yooglie fainting on stage that he found out that he had you know co bid. Yeah, maybe if he doesn't faint on stage and he gets lightheaded in a hotel or Or at home? He probably wouldn't think that that's. Cody probably would have thought you know. I'm traveling again. Right haven't been E. Yeah, so in a way it may have been the best thing that happened to him was to know early with me. I was already on the road, just feeling horrible and older and couldn't understand why my backward that was. Oh my go-! I was I, was branded matters crazy, holy shit, so you're still married and your, and how'd you you talk to your wife out of a kidney? And you know it's funny. You know When I when I found out I had a band skinny disease. It's almost like in the movies like you and I are talking, but you could see her sitting in a chair between us and the doctor communities I. Don't know how to tell you this man, but you got advanced kidney disease and you're going to need a kidney time thirty years. You're forty five thirty eight and she's there and she's like I'll give you..

You know they weren't. There wasn't really a huge amount of things even going to club. Why is that man so it's just it was just a different feeling for them. You know that was always very very a white thing to do you go to comedy clubs? Yes, over the years they would start to come out. They didn't really know how to behave. They fight because. They try to leave off checks. And gradually gradually gradually, they started to get an identity know how to behave themselves when they went to a show, but when it started doing theaters, they would yell out shit thinking they're helping. Yeah, it would be full on blows in the crowd. I ended up even back then. I ended up hiring my own guys to patrol the room. Because without those guys. You couldn't get through your set. But you making most of your money, just doing headline and chat sets. In the? Ninety six, ninety seven. I was already making over six figures a year. So you're you're one of those guys. You do the tonight show with Carson or no I. Do you gave November of ninety one? Yeah, it's funny because. I was couple of months before that I dishes for Shapiro. Jim McCauley and I. was I was up on stage, and he's looking at me. Looks at a Georgia paralegals. You handle this kid right here. He goes. No, we're looking at it. He goes well. I can't when I was starting out, I can't tell you how many times I would call Dave, Beck and go why the fuck is that guy doing that? Who the fuck is that guy? He got it. How the fuck did that guy get that? But ultimately my spite, it never paid off like. I ended up turning things around in my fucking garage so I I was. Never great at despite. Listen listen. You and I don't really to the site at the airport what time we were always to. Lift. But I didn't give you lift up. The like getting the car back to when when Bronco when the president did your show? Don't you yeah I think so I went and did the COVID test here in la like every other person I was told that there was a place I could go pay for pay. One hundred twenty five bucks get one. Results you know and a half hour and I might not want to go through the regular person thing. I don't need special treatment that sounds like a racket anyways, but I call them because I was I was online and the traffic on waiting for the regular one and Mike. Wow, this looks like it could be a few hours. So I, said well look if you got an opening like in the next fifteen twenty minutes. And you or the next hour, so call me up. But they never called, and I went all the way through the Big Long Line Dodger Stadium I had that experience the covid. Nineteen tests experience dodger stadium like many Angelenos. You get there. They've got videos for you to tell you what to do. They give you a bag with your toys in it. You get. you got the swab toy. You get the test tube with the liquid in it toy. And baggies. So I. Did that dropped it off? I haven't heard from everyone I've talked to said like to like one or two days and it's been. Well, you know it was two days. I'll know. I'll know but yeah. I gotta be honest with you. I don't think I, have it? I do not think I do. And if I do. it seems I. It seems might have the the better one to have. And also I do by the time I get my fucking test results. I'll be more than halfway through. My quarantine, but I think I do because. Here's my deal. You know our Matt. I mean a lot of grief that comes and goes, and I've got a sick cat. And I let the grief happen as much as I can. But I do stifle lot of feelings, and that means that shuts down my my chest. Until I was talking to my friend. Michaela walking's and I've done it my whole life, one way or the other that if I have some big overwhelming fear or feelings or something that's out of my control. That's causing me pain or panic or dread. That or fear, those are all different words for it. What I'll do is I will make it about me. I will personalize it. I will I will make something as extreme usually around my mortality, or around some sort of sickness, every time I've done a big show before I've done a special or or letterman appearance or anything era. Losing my voice or that I'm getting a cold sore and sometimes I've managed to almost manifest both of those things, and if I'm just terrified of something or just this horrible feeling of loss in pain and dealing with the anxiety of Monkey. His name is Madison Court, and he scored one of the big upsets in the primaries on Tuesday in North Carolina. He defeated a highly. Congressional candidate who was also endorsed by you know who, and now he's on track to become the youngest congress person in modern US history. Please welcome. Madison caught on Hey. Ladies Thank. You. What do you think you did that? May people recognize that you were the better choice? You know we kept all politics local. We weren't focused on DC insiders or big pack money. We were just focused on caring about the people that I represent. We took our message of faith family. Individuals possibility and freedom and bid really resonated with a lot of people who feel very disenfranchised by how polarizing our politics right now. Missouri cawthorn are running for White House chief of staff. Mark Meadows Vacant House seat meadows nominated you to attend the Naval Academy and you consider him a mentor, but it has been reported that the president endorsed your opponent at the request of meadows. Wife did that sting and any hard feelings. That did a good bit. You know we when Mark Meadows endorsed and when Senator Ted Cruz endorsed. You know we didn't really think those would move the needle very much at all, but once the president got involved. Obviously that was that carries a significant amount of weight here in Western. North Carolina still, but. Fortunately we were able to get I. had a wonderful phone call with the president looking forward to getting to work with him? But there's no hard feelings for Congressman Meadows or his wife. He's been very good to me my whole life, and so I look forward to working with him in his new position as chief of staff. Well, it sounds like you're learning a lesson that if you WANNA front in Washington. You have to buy a dog you got to Congress. He knew what I actually don't think. I have five dog I have probably degraded German shepherd planet named Beowulf, but he's not a very good campaign puppy. Wonderful. Now unfortunately a car accident in two thousand fourteen derail Naval Academy plans that make it invention and left. You paralyzed from the waist down. How did that experience affect your outlook on life? You know what I will tell you. It changed. My whole perspective acquired quite a bit. You know taught me a level of Grit and perseverance that would've taken decades slur otherwise, but also at Tommy's on me I. Think is lacking a lot on the republican side in politics in that's empathy. It's being able to to feel like I can recognize when people feel disenfranchise are don't feel like the the the system represents them, and so I know what that's like and I can empathize with that. I'm just enamored by young people that get involved in the political process so Kudos to you for running at this age. I think that's incredible. The accident left you with three million dollars in medical debt, which is why you plan to make health care reform, one of your signature issues and I think that's extremely admirable. You are against free health care for all, so I want to understand. Is Your plan especially since we are seeing tw- twenty million people quit. will be out of work due to Kovic nine hundred, so I'm assuming your healthcare plan has nothing to do with employer related insurance. No Sony does not you know. Thank you very much for your question, but the thing that I think is so imperative to realize is that if I was in a country that practices socialized medicine? I genuinely believe I would be dead today. you know at that point whatever using a? Single payer of free the base market of healthcare. That's gives healthcare to all. You obviously have to start rationing care I only had about a one percent chance to live is an absolute miracle that I was able to pull through. You know I think my doctors. I think my God, but you know I I know that without having a great healthcare system I. I would not be here today, and so my answer, though is that for too long the Republicans have been the party of no when it comes to healthcare reform where they're really believe that we should be leading the pathway to lower prices or more Americans can have access to it, and I think the way to do that is to reduce decrease regulation. Regulation as you know here in North Carolina Blue Cross blue. Shield has a virtual monopoly on the entire state in that it creates artificially high prices, but I think if we could bring in some more insurance company and bring more competition price transparency to the entire the entire industry we could see prices. Go significantly lower I. mean you know there's six people trying? Trying to sell my house right now that will deliver to my house and they're all trying to get a pizza to me. You know for as cheap as it can be as fast as they can. In with the best taste, and you know I think it's extremely simplified analogy, but it gets very imperative. Realize that free market capitalism works always lowest prices. Love that totally agree Mr Cawthorn Al Win in November. Would make you the youngest person to serve in Congress at just twenty five years old. The youngest person in Congress is the infamous Alexandria. Cortes and you couldn't be more different. You are hard line conservative, limited government, Pro Second Amendment pro-life, and one of the pillars of your campaign is resisting the rise of socialism on the left. Why is that so important to you and do you think you can go head to head with her? You know what I do. I will say that while her beliefs in a line extraordinarily different she does a great job of being able to bring young people over to her side in really make up a lot of these undecided minds in fight for their hearts and minds. But. That's something that I really WanNa do on in Congress myself. You know I think the only real congressman. We have trying to do that right now. In the current Congress is probably Congressman Dan Crenshaw, but aside from that I think the Republicans have oftentimes struggled to bring in the young vote and you know right now. We have a generational time bomb. It's going to go off in the Republican Party, and if it does and we start losing. Losing every single election like I may happen if we don't start reaching the hearts minds, then you know I think we'll see socialism rise up very very fast, and you know you probably ask why I oppose that, but it's because I believe that this country was founded on individual rights. You know we see so often that people are wanting to with the green new deal or with Nancy. Pelosi proposed dealing us back into that failed in the Senate. I know that that is something that is nothing short of government control. It limits our ability to have private ownership of property, and it really limits how much money we can have in our own pockets, because it puts more government control in the American people. Okay well, we'll have more with Madison caught on when we come back..

If you <Speech_Male> watch the media you watch <Speech_Male> how they've reacted <Speech_Male> and the New Yorker called <Speech_Male> Sulejmani. WHO's a <Speech_Male> maniac? Should he have the freedom to say it. No because he's inciting death that's actually the literally the one thing about freedom of speech we say you can't do is saying you're going to kill somebody like like. That's it if you actually say where I try to light on freedom of speech murder would be okay murder or harm against a human being. So he's he keeps on saying it's a joke okay. It's a joke not funny. At all Hollywood by the way is glamorizing murder you got Griffin. You got debt you got Madonna. You got strikes in Deniro. Wants a a fight. Lopez says he wants to kill the prison United States for forty million dollars. Take the stuff very seriously because these sorts of jokes. Eric Trump says he was spit on at Chicago restaurant
"The whole Eric Trump thing boggles my mind, Eric Trump. Is not as father. Good battery different. It's just the truth. He's not as father, Eric Trump is a guy that raise the millions and millions of dollars for Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital. he's a guy who's very charitable he's a new dad laura is wife is pregnant again expecting another child and they're out and somebody spits on him What's the mentality of somebody who says, I have an opportunity to spit on Eric Trump today? Kicked it opportunity. Right. Such a bad guy. mean and he's only been two and a half years before that everybody wanted to be like donald trump Even go ahead. thinking of the comedian george lopez came out couple of days ago we're talking about the today and he was saying is kids are at fair fair game even barron who's what twelve thirteen years old he's fair game me but not your old barron trump is fair game yes she no after him because his dad's such a bad dude Amy Carter wasn't fair game. Seriously? Chelsea Clinton wasn't fair game. And we just knew to keep it above board. This for some reason, is okay. And it's so weird. Because normally when you protest there's something you want. when you spend eric trump what is it that you want i spit on him therefore his father's policies will change i spit on him therefore he'll this owners father what what is the endgame what do you what do you think is the goal when you do something like that Please. news the rest chicago's aviary cocktail bar responded to reports employees spat on eric trump on tuesday nights last night and unfortunate incident occurred between employees at the trump statement issued by alenia group several other restaurants and chicago and elsewhere we did not win this the incident just beginning to learn the details on twitter activity indicates he was visiting trump hotel chicago shared a statement when breitbart news following the incident condemning it purely a disgusting act by somebody who clearly has emotional problems he also suggested employees motivations for political saint for a party that preaches tolerance this once again demonstrates they have very little civility and the group however call the online response from critics and supporters troubling and the online discussion about the incident is troubling hundreds of people are calling for the demise of our business threatening our employees and posting fake reviews they are wrong to do so based on the actions of a lone individual the statement continued so too however are those people wrong were praising this as an act of civil disobedience we have voices and the means to be i heard degrading act lowers the tenor of debate to some might feel good but it's unlikely to serve any larger purpose and we hope this incident can at least serve to eliminate the current absurdity the discourse in our politics fellow americans and citizens we should all higher So weird. So I asked the question before we hit the brake. Sasha. And Malia as you said, they were not fair game had somebody spit on them. The person would have been arrested for assault and would have been convicted. i watch these shows live p._d. in cops and all the others and when somebody who's being arrested spits on a police officer charge assaulting and officer if you spit on somebody you're assaulting them that's what it is Nothing more nothing less. This person doesn't change the narrative by spitting Trump. This person doesn't change any policies of the administration by spitting on them. This person just shows she's a

"I'm like, what the fuck weird? What is having? So he's going like this. And I'm remember he had a big window behind him in the moonlight was coming in. I'm fucking hog tied and he's going. And his shit. With the nunchucks almost like it's all in sync. I'm like what the fuck is happening right now. And he's like you bad girl, bad punish, you know, please, no, thanks, can you? Please untie me. I got so mad. I was furious. Like I got mad even with my arms being tied. I could a bit his face off. I was like, come for me. Like I will kill you, right? Because I'm like, don't do that. Don't do that to somebody right? And it made me. So, like I went from being really liking this guy like I really liked him to being completely disgusted and I was like, now I can see. He's fucked up like sure weird shit I made him on timing. So I'm like you need to fucking get untimely right now. Like I'm fucking pissed like untimely right? Fine. He's on Mattie goes and gets a knife. And then he's he's on his Dick's. He's all sad and depressed. I'm like, whatever do. So he goes and gets a knife, and he's all this in my face on my bitch. If you do any, I'll fucking kill you. Like, don't even care if I'm tied up, you will be one that ends up dead. And then he cuts. The ropes off and then like at wanted to act like everything was normal, like, so you watch the office. I'm like, no. Watch office. We'll get the fuck outta here. Yeah. Isn't that crazy? You've never had anything weird like that. Come on your famous. You had some girls who are like, oh my God. Look at my uterus. No, not like that nothing. I had a beat up my car with her high heels, gosh, fucking like a Celica. Those. The celica. But with their heels, I just kept hearing this. What the hell is the window on? You really can't see right? She beat up my car with her heels, and then the next morning, I had, like five thousand. Things in my car, and asshole just look like it looked like it. My friends, it looks cool school is five thousand dents and Mike. Right. Right right over from the Noman. It looks like somebody's shot at you. And you live. Pretty normal 'isolation for me is just being away. I'm not tying anybody. And I got the yeah change because you just just even the fact that, you know, the just the miss people just assume you're something, you know, when I moved into the name of I live in, you know, I it's almost like you know, why join a gym because all Healy like you walk up a hill. You walk another one is done by the server Tor. You walk up you. It's a good workout stairs over there. Like a Santa, Monica, you don't have to go through stairs there miles. So I'm walking and already I feel feel subconscious for two for one you'd like a big Mexican do walk in. But then you're like George Lopez and you don't know if anybody knows you or not still, I think I you just a big Mexican walk into the neighbor, you know..
