"So you know, it's a bolt together, things stock Cal for back on it, better breaking and that. And of course we keep bigger tires, bigger tires, bigger tires, bigger Tigers, and the wheel bearing just can't take the abuse. No, and I know that for fact, that's what happened at the TV world. So. Yup, wheel bearing went and such as life, you know. But I know you've got, I guess, you know, TV invasion happening. I'm assuming we're going to see out at Glamis few times this this winter. Absolutely. I'm planning on living there. This winter. I'm gonna make a lot of trips. I'm I think camp raise our. I'll make a trip prior to camp raise or get get the facility ready and kind of open it up on my guys are they're now working on cars getting ready for Idaho. And yeah, so we're definitely gonna make that I'm gonna try and make the sand sport show, but I've I've got a little bit more since I got back behind the wheel. This last weekend, my phone is blown up crazy with with people. I may come race stuff, so I'm racing VR on the twenty second or twenty first twenty second, I think for for for charity thing for Ray ever him. And then I'm gonna race. A lemons race in Kershaw, South Carolina. Carolina motorsports park next week, fifteen sixteen. So I got kind of a busy busy thing. So I need to look at the dates on Saint sports show and see if I can make it out. One of those things where you get back behind the wheel, you take a podium and it's like people. I, it's like outta sight outta mind, not e- you are, but it's like people, all of a sudden go, oh yeah, there's Greg, we forgot great. Can really drive a race car. We've been. Yeah, it it's fun to. I is fun to, you know, be able to do that and run so well, like we did and I, like I said, I, I learned a tremendous amount. It was probably beginners lock. I'm sure you know the next race. I'll probably pay for that, but I got in a lot of fun. Learn some stuff and and didn't run anybody over and you know, look forward to the next one. Awesome. Well, I appreciate the time, Greg, I'm sure I will see you did either sports or camp razor. I'll be at both of them, so we'll definitely have to link up and go have some fun and razors. Absolutely. I got the, I'm bringing out my my general tires for for doing the hard pack up on the hill behind Saint Anthony. So I'm I'm looking forward to getting out on some of that hard pack as well. I tell you what those new, the thirty one inch AT x. I've been running those on all mine and those things are just insane. Just, yeah. Things are so awesome. It's I keep telling the guys at channel time like phenomena, UTV tire. You guys, you know, they're not marketing it as one quite yet, but I'm like, you guys have one right here, right? That is a great hire. I've drove it on the street a little bit and back in mooresville, but I haven't had it yet. So I'm looking forward to it. Yeah, it'd be tons of fun. Can't wait to hear how it works out buddy. Thanks for taking the time to call in and we'll definitely chat soon. Greg. Thank you for all right. And that was NASCAR legend, Greg, Bethel ostlund catching up with Mr. Bill love having him on the show, and that's at some point. We need to do a really deep indepth interview with biff all and catch up on all things like NASCAR career. Like there's a big story there. We definitely need to knock that one out of the park at some point in time. But yeah, bit a fun fun show do have to give another shoutout to our good friends at bet online dot AG..

"So definitely that's going to be the kind of the highlight of the weekend, but we're really just coming out to do some some doing and and do the the hill shot shootout race. And you know, just pretty much enjoy the sand, try and sell a few cars. You know, we're still we're still building onesie, twosies the pace off road brand. And you know, we've got a new bracket made for the for the turbo transmission to adapt to the to the z. one engine. And that's kind of our specialty is is there's Yvonne. But gosh, the players engine is, you know, guys got flashes and turbos and all those things for those things. So they're, they're, they're pretty robust now as well. I started doing it. You know it was like it was a necessity. You know to do that swap and now it's like the engines. I don't wanna say, if caught up with what you guys are doing, but they've definitely made some big inroads all they definitely have the thing that the z. one still has is no replacement for displacement. So it's just a bigger engine to start with. And so that gives an advantage, you know. And that's really the only thing that the players engine is a great engine. And you know, we're, we're, I'm toying with the idea of doing some some stuff with that engine about, we do methanol blend on the fuel. So when you wanna turn to boost up, the biggest problem is when you wanna turn to boost up, you've got to have good gas and so gas, you know, race fields, expensive, and you only wanna you only want to shoot up the hill or or you know, run it hard a couple of times and then you're back to doing again. So the the, the new build we've developed is it transitions just off a boost to a different fuel. So as it sees the boost level go beyond what the fuels capable of doing. We start spraying methanol over top of the fuel and then eventually transition all the way the methanol. So it simply just a on auxiliary tank and fuel pump we put in the vehicle. So we're we're, I'm toying with the idea of doing that with the stock players engine, you know, the turbo engine, obviously on demand. Yep, Yep. It's on demand runs clean, smooth. It has worked out beyond my wildest dreams. So reliable, never hiccups, never miss. His never does anything in men. I, I mean, never would have thought it was going to run as good as it does in.

"You gotta feel like you're just going for is like man stuff's going to happen. I don't know, but you know, 'cause you, like you said you're hitting those ramps is steel ramps, and they're not forgiving and you're hitting them wide open. You know, it's first time you hit it. That's gotta be just a little bit of a wild experience. It was a wild experience for me and trust me. I was not hitting him wide open until the final four laps of the race on Saturday when it was go time, you know, and and you gotta take care of your your brakes and and and the truck. And I, I would, you know, roll up out of the throttle and kinda set the nose and and run off them in those guys were hitting them. Just pin flat, never lifting. And so you know, I could tell I went back and watched in-car and I watched some video of it and and I could see where they were technique they were. I picked up a lot by by doing that. And so those last four laps I was I was flat off the end of the jumps with those guys and you know it, it it. It is kinda hairy, I'll admit it. It takes a lot because as you approach the jump as your as your hundred feet back, you can see everything. But what when you're ten feet from it, you can see nothing but the jump 'cause you can't see over it. So you're looking right at the face of the jump and and it's kind of intimidating because you don't know what's on the other side of it, even though you know, it's fair race track. It's still intimidating. So here's a question. I mean, you've done it. You've got a podium. I gotta feel your your kind of hooked on it. We're gonna see you at some point back behind the wheel. One of these again, maybe maybe even like one like at Glen, Helen, where it's all dirt. Yeah, I think so. You know, I, I really, really enjoyed the the big track in the pavement. 'cause that's that's sort of my background. I enjoy the dirt as well, but I could see myself like it, you know, you know, maybe Long Beach, grand prix, or you know some place where it's kind of like what we did this weekend. I, I think I would find a lot of fun. In that. And then these guys are just the really raving about Australia Gold Coast or something like that. They said the track over there. The the setup is amazing. So I've never been to out of the country over on that end of the world. So maybe maybe make one of those trips. You know talking about this coming weekend though. You mentioned UT invasion. I know we got, I think, well, I know here in the west coast, we got sand sports camp razor coming up a couple of months out. So I'm already gearing up for San season UTV's and sounds like you are to what's what's on Taffer UT invasion. Well, we, there's, I'm bringing my my hot rod foresee Polaris car. They're having they're having a shootout hill race on Saturdays..

"So it was new for me all the way around first time in the truck. First time at this race track and man, I had a blast. I mean, you guess in your first weekend and racy come away with a podium and stadium super truck, and I look at the list. I mean, you mentioned Robbie, Casey Mears. I mean, Mattie brands kid is rock and he's got a bunch of young guns in the series. You know, that's a statement come away with the podium and your first weekend. Yeah, it was, you know? And I was I was chasing down, Mattie, at the end of that thing, if I knew that big track just. A little bit better. It's funny because those those young guys in even Robbie a bit, you know, I could still see I need some more experience behind the wheel. They're a little faster than me through some of the short tighter stuff in and over the jumps. But we got to that big race track, and I started running these guys down, you know, because that's sort of my background. So I just I just had a lot of fun. I learned a lot that that's the key. You know, anything you go. You'll racing for the first time is come away with with some knowledge and some experience, and I was able to do that. You know, following these guys, Hildebrand and random. I mean, those those guys are very, very good and and Jeff, all of them I learned a bit from all of them from Robbie, and I kind of put that experience together from the practice session to the short. I race on Friday to to actually the, uh. You know the end of the race on Saturday, and you know, you're here guys done a lot of stock car stuff. I know you and I have talked to the passion you've gone to, you know, you did the twenty four hours a day tone and some road racing, but Robbie sets he's trucks up with. They're a bit loose. You know, they got a lot of body roll in their bit looser, not quite as tight as a proper racecar. Not that they couldn't be. It's just he sets them up that way on purpose. I mean, was there any any, you know? Did you have to dab to drive in a truck like that that set up a little bit looser. You know, there's several things I had to stop to. I drive a fairly loose race car. You know that that was my m o when I was in NASCAR. The name of my boat was a little loose. So that's just that's the way I like to drive the car. I like it turning good, you know is is really the way I like it. So you know, the things I had to get used to is the truck is short wheelbase and doesn't really like the turn. So you have to turn a bit with the back of the truck. The other thing is how quick the steering is. I've never driven anything with steering as quick as this. It's a one to one steering the quickest during I've erased in NASCAR was eight, the one. So you typically would race a twelve to one or fourteen to one steering box. You know eight. The one was quick with us out on a short track. So here we are going to hundred fifty miles an hour road Atlanta or road America with a one to one steering box. So I and and I, I. Struggle the most with the jumps going straight off the jump because you had to be so precise with the steering wheel. Then if I was off eight of an inch or or quarter inch on the steering wheel, the thing would fly sideways and it's a pretty high speed, long jump. So the thing would get really out of shape quick. And so those are the things I had to adapt to learn from over the weekend. Those talking about his jumps. They know, Mattie, brab them told me about the first time he hit him and you know he's coming from an IndyCar and road racing background and things like that. And I mean, there's one of those where you at some point..

"And yeah, we are here on project action on podcast one, and we got a fun one today. Mr. Greg, biff oil. You guys know him as the NASCAR legend. The boy also likes to shred his sand cars and his Polaris razor. UTV's always fun to catch up with Greg philosophy I was able to is I believe out in may at the general tire Arca one fifty at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Greg, and I both the general tire ambassadors, and we're able to catch up out there at Charlotte, always a fun time set up before you've never watched a stock car race until you've watched a stock car race with a NASCAR legend talking in your ear when you get to watch it like that, like I was at Charlotte, and he tells you through, like all the nuances of what's going on, hey, watch this guy's gonna pull in here and they're going to do that. See why that pit crew members doing this, that means that see that car. He moved there because of this, and you get all that and you're like, oh, wow, this stockcar stuff is amazing. Interesting. You know, I, I still say Greg biff. It'd be a color commentator on TV because dude is just phenomenal. But we catch up with him on project action. This week. I had an abbreviated version of this interview that we did on the down and dirty radio show. Earlier this week, you know, my other show that's all motor sports all the time. I know project action has kind of become its own little beast. We do a little bit of everything. We do, whatever the hell we want them project action just the way it is. But. Yeah, caught up with Greg biff oil. We talked about his stadium super trucks, podium. First time he's ever a stadium super trucks this past weekend, and the dude takes on a second place finish who does that? Well, great Bill doesn't obviously, but awesome. Awesome to catch up with him and he's getting ready to head out to UT invasion in Idaho going to be shredding some UTV's. Just fun to catch up with him and talk. Just everything. Greg biff was involved in. Right. You know, a lot of people think he's been sitting on his hand since you know, he, I don't wanna say retired from NASCAR because he'd still come back. But I guess took a leave of absence from NASCAR is the proper term. I don't know anyways. No. The dues been super busy and he's got a UT brand, and I don't know guys just funny catch up with become a good friend of mine. Always fun to catch up with Mr.. Biff evil. So, yeah, Greg piffle today on project action me. I am doing this a little early this week because I'm hopping a fly. By the time he listened to this. I'm already flying. I am going to Crandon Wisconsin the sleepy little town of Crandon Wisconsin. You know what's happening in Crandon Wisconsin only three thousand people, right? Not a lot wrong. It is the biggest as off road raise on the planet this weekend, and I will be there. I'll be doing the TV for Lucas al-tv. So.

"So that being said, we're out here at Charlotte motor. Edwige in general tire Arca one fifty house. If you being back here. I mean, Cup qualifying is going to be happening a little bit. I mean, what's been keeping you busy the past year too. I mean, I know you still looking at potentially. If you know the right Reid came along going back to Cup. I mean, you've got a lot you can add to a team. I think just talking with you up there and the tower watching qualifying with the data and the knowledge -nology bring. I mean, you know, what's you know that's the prospects for you? You know, I'm definitely entertaining the idea of getting more and more calls about driving cars. So I'd love to get back behind the wheel. But like I said, the reason why I left when I did was you know, just wanna be competitive and in racing, everybody wants to be competitive. You're not going to be competitive every single week, but when you become not competitive, it's no fun anymore. So I I needed to step away and if it up competitive opportunity arises, certainly I'll I'll consider it and may step back into the seat in, you know, it may be in xfinity. Or possibly a truck for one or two races or something to have some fun and then get back at. But you know, I enjoy all kinds of racing. It doesn't matter what it is. You know, gas battle in a long as burns gas, I'm driving it or writing it. So you know, I love motorcycles to either is and and and these these cars need to tell our friends at general tire on the continental side. They need to get you in one of the prototypes Ragu racing. Yeah, I've done that. I ran the Rolex twenty four hour race in two thousand four longtime ago. So I lot of fun doing that. Actually, I'm building a lemons car right now. So I'm getting ready to go do a couple of women's races. What's the budget on those? Because I've heard like five hundred thousand bucks. You got to be going over that I know already, right. Yeah. Well, I, you know, the the spirit of the rule is five hundred dollars. So I talked most guys guys have you know eight to ten, twelve thousand dollars in a in a Junker car. You know, because you've got to be able to run for. You know, sixteen hours and you know what? It's like race prepping vehicle to run sixteen hours. Go get a wrecking our car. You got some wheel, bearings zone, you know, nuts and bolts and some things you have to do to get that card around sixteen hours. But we're looking forward to it. I'm building a an old Ford car. You know, I tried to find the ugliest thing I could find, you know, kind of spirit of the rules. So it's gonna be fun when bring it out when it when we looking at a debut for that. Because that's one of those. Like I gotta think you going lemons racing. There's going to be a little bit of media around that. There's going to be and general tires involved with that a little bit. So we're targeting, you know this fall. So we're, we're looking at some raises in October, I think October they race in cinema at out at fitting on raceway in California. So I think I'm going to target that to be one of my first races, and then they raise road Atlanta in the fall, like November December. So those are probably be my first two. I was gonna say, Sonoma, that's a track, you know? Well, right. So if you're gonna go, that's that'd. The proper one to break it in. Yeah, that'd be fun. I actually did help the team out and I drove some laps for them at road Atlanta in in December without a eighty three, Toyota Corolla. So needless to say, it didn't make it very far, but I drove it some for them and I'm not agree time, and that's the kind of racing, you know, after that weekend and being around all the guys and help, you know, get all the things together. I brought like all the radios and helps at the pits up those kinds of things that are fun for me, you know? And that's back to like local Friday, Saturday night race. And that's where we all got started racing. Right?.

"Hopefully just see the the fan base of memorial day weekend racing come out and support this arca general tire one fifty tonight as far as the oil toyota we've moved pretty solid i as happy in an upset and there in practice kind of range you know second third throughout practice and made a lot of changes on our car in the car responded to those changes and that's a really important thing here because it's easy to get a car that doesn't respond on you're kind of chasing scratching your head so i think it's important that that our car reacted that way so tonight and if we have to make changes in our pitstops we can and hopefully we'll be able to go out and qualify good and have some clean air to start up front i think com practice gave me confidence that we can do that i just gotta go back it up now well and talk about us a driver 'cause your career kind of looking over things started in car chief done needle formula cars and road racing you've kind of been all over the place i mean what lands you in arca with your background you know because i look your background it's like man there's a lot of series you could be running with you know because you've done so much there really is and at one stage in my life i never would've thought about going over racing i was kinda slated to sports car racing or openwheel racing and had opportunity with mazda there for a little while to go that route and follow and pursue the champ car series and is kind of like a allowed hair my dad see my dad never raised himself but he grew up in alabama and he was always a huge fan of nascar i was a fan of it because a him in he we were living in utah at the time and he just kind of threw out there he was like what would you think about trying oval racing there's a you we can get you in a ford focus midget out in northern california and see how it goes so we went out we did this little driver test program and went well i thought it was fun i was like you know the kind of cool may we try more of that and so we got a late model the next year and basically like.

"Appreciate your time good luck out here at charlotte and hope see on the podium all right here at the general tire arca one fifty michael self here and no you're running kind of an abbreviated schedule this year but you know how how extreme you so far when daytona man i guess we're gonna gonna win that's the place to do it right definitely good way to start the year off not not really big race that you can win that mental offer me in for venture any motor sports and everything especially sinclair oil with everything they've done over the off season and kind of the investment adventuring he's back into this program start the year off with a win is huge motivation confidence boost for everyone that we work with so that's that's the bar high and i feel like we've gone forward since then we went and struggled a little bit nashville but i think we turned around and understood why we struggled there and then the guys went to salem the next week and won that race and so as a whole i think the team has had a really good start the year and myself i've got a first third and fourth that's pretty good i came out of nashville leading the points which was big goal of mine and then missed that third race and then kinda rebounded their talladega with another third place finish trust trying to make the most of the ten starts that i do have and pfeiffer win every single time we get a chance and how is that as a driver especially like you said you know you you know if you're running the full schedule you you know most likely be fighting for the points i mean you know just running ten ten rounds i mean how is that you know coming in missing one and then coming back the next round i mean does it kinda throw a wrench in your consistency as driver you know you get into a.
