Texas AG Ken Paxton Reacts to Bill Barr's January 6 Testimony

"Guys, I'm really happy to welcome back to the podcast Ken Paxton, the attorney general of Texas, Ken great to see you again. You're looking good and hey, let's talk a little bit about elections. Did you happen to catch attorney general Barr yesterday? He was talking generally about voter fraud, but he specifically also talked about 2000 mules. Any response or thoughts about Barr's testimony? You know, I didn't get to hear very much of it because I was traveling, but the part I heard, he was pretty much discounting that there had been any election fraud in correct me if I'm wrong. I couldn't have disagreed more given the fact that my state was involved in so many lawsuits related to them trying to use mail in ballots like they did in other states and you'll notice in 2000 mules Texas wasn't in the show because we were able to we were able to win 12 lawsuits to stop it from happening here in

Why Bill Barr Is a Patriot

"The book by general Barr and since you've read it, I'll ask you about it. It seems to me to be the most comprehensive case for constitutionalism that I've read between two covers. Did you come away with that view that, my gosh, we are lucky to have him. I hope he comes back. I don't know if he'll come back for a third a third time. I'm a big admirer of Bill Barr. He's a true patriot. He didn't need to come back and undergo all the criticism and attacks that he endured, but he believed it was important to restore the Department of Justice to a nonpartisan place where the law is respected and honored rather than politics and he's a smart guy with broad experience. And I found a lot of the different things that he wrote about in the book very instructive and actually talked to my staff. I said, well, let's dig a little deeper. For example, in some of his ideas about how to deal with big tech,

"You want to hear a little Montage that Derek my producer put together that's not hard to find. I give you Adam Schiff, I give you Valerie plame, the former CIA officer, and I give you the former director of national intelligence, James clapper. Let's take a stroll again. Down another memory lane. So that it was all essentially a deep state conspiracy. There was spying on the Trump campaign all of that was debunked by the inspector general. But I think attorney general Barr's rather casual assessment that the FBI spied on candidate Trump is a little too loose with the facts. Well, I think he's deliberately spinning the narrative that we're by he's a victim of the deep state spying on him or spying on the campaign, which is not the case. It's not the case. But what are you going to say today, clapper? What are you going to say today, Leslie stahl? What are you going to say now?

"We have the potential for an incoming government. With a prominent member of Congress. And his bosom buddy Nancy Pelosi. Along with the now president elect of the United States. We cannot allow the Chinese government to have a stack this high a cornucopia thanksgiving feast of blackmail material on them. Because ladies and gentlemen the whole essence of black males, you're going to leak information Other people don't have and you're going to embarrass them. Well, you can't blackmail somewhat about leaked information if it's already leaked it out there. You know if producer Jim and I were planning on robbing a bank and emailing each other and the New York Times got a hold of it, said Dan, We're putting these emails out in public unless you do x Y or Z. It's no good. If the emails are already out in public, that's not how blackmail works. So is it possible someone in DOJ bar someone else? I don't know. I can't get in their heads. But is it possible if not likely? Someone in DOJ said. We're going to have a big China blackmail problem from a nuclear powered enemy, the United States. If we let this stand, we better put this out right now, before these guys swear it again. Folks, these dates can't possibly be a coincidence. Read the headlines. "Those votes of that occurred after the election was done. Then how could you not be doing something illegal and be committing vote fraud and that's happened in several places so i think it makes a lot of sense What he's saying there is another story today. I think you've made mention of it and know what's going on that has to do the subject General flynn has come back up. You know how they went after him because he was He before he was sworn in but he was to be appointed into the trump administration He talked for somebody and rusher like that but they it was blown way out of context of what was going on enough though and and it. Finally you know one one this in the courts they. They made him look like he was committing treason. Almost and right now something similar like that is happening right now And so on the other side that an individual's done exactly what they claim. Flynn and he was never proven. I've done it. The whole thing is ridiculous. Glenn greenwald did a great job writing about today when When president trump was president elect trump and he was assembling his team President of then president obama had just put new sanctions on russia for their interference in the election. Which we know was ally of course. But flynn got in touch with him. Basser kislyak The russian ambassador to the us in passed a message on. Hey the administration is going to be changing. We would appreciate if you would not retaliate right now because when talk when the president trump gets in We're going to change the policy and we're not going to escalate this thing. Don't make it difficult absolutely normal thing to happen you don't you. Don't have the on january twentieth. You don't have your whole team in place and no one knows a thing. Of course you have a smooth transition but what. They wanted to charge him with the logan. Act which glenn greenwald points out correctly is a stupid piece of legislation. it's never been used to prosecute anyone. It just says that anybody who's not official. Washington is not allowed to go and do foreign policy in contradiction to us official foreign policy. It's an idiotic act. And flynn should never have been prosecuted for and in fact very early on. It was clear that he didn't break any law. But what he did is talk to the fbi which is a massive mistake and as we know later on subsequently the fbi was talking on the way over to invest in interviewing him on how they can entrap him which they did because he said. I don't remember exactly if i exactly ask kislyak about about this retaliation. And that's that's what they got in for a long to the fbi. Of course that was overturned. Because he didn't so the point is they gave trump a lot of grief in the beginning horrible grief in the beginning. And now here's been rhodes. Who was assistant national security adviser under obama. He came out yesterday and admits will biden is already having discussions with a lot of foreign leaders telling them what the us foreign policy is going to look like in a biden administration admitting openly what what flynn really was had his career destroyed his reputation destroyed doing but unfortunately the hapless republicans are now screaming. That biden must go to jail for doing it. The reality is it's idiotic is fine if biden does this. If he's going to be president make a transition. He has the authority the constitutional authority to make foreign policy. But it was extremely fundamentally wrong to destroy. Michael flynn's life over doing the same thing..

"So i I'm assuming that they'll still have it even if even if they can't resolve it which i've sort of been suspicious of that there will be the Individual congress states by congress would do. You're getting one vote and that is resolve an impasse like this. And that's still a possibility. Because these these court cases of harley started and i would say that most republicans have said were. There are a few. But i don't. We don't come real reporting. they're saying. Oh well yeah these. This doesn't amount to much can't win these cases a little bit of fraud here narrow. They've we've been doing that ever since. Lbj was running but There are others are saying this might be be one compared to others when you when you talk about the thousand thousand votes. The country's beer there's more voters and it It looks like a tremendous amount of people were involved and it looks like to me that Might have been even conspiracy in a plan to do this. And they didn't think this up in the middle of night. And i am actually said that there was in in a plan. That's what they do. They paused the votes. They go along. And then we're into the votes. Come up when everybody's sleeping you know at three in the morning so but that is thing the the cases are going to come out and I i guess Supreme court will eventually hear it but Bars at least You know participating in this and moving along well the thing. That's most galling. Here is the hypocrisy and it's just is unbearable to anybody. Believe that if trump had managed to squeak out with appeared to be a second term victory for a second term but there are regularity such as this mysteriously stopping counting votes at midnight and then resuming in the morning with hundreds of thousands of votes being brought in all four trump. Say that was the case. Anybody believed that. Msnbc cnn the mainstream media in total wouldn't be screaming for investigation screaming to figure out what happened screaming about vote fraud but of course there person one so they're not screaming. They're only screaming at people who are looking. We're interested in in a investigation. Now the may not be at this moment a massive smoking cannon that points to oh here is the thing but there are a lot of smoking smaller guns that we've talked about before and we'll continue to talk about in those. I think everyone would admit or should admit they deserve to have to be looked at. And here's our first. This is what we wanted to focus in on at first and this is the attorney. General bill barr and he's authorized the justice department to look into areas where there are substantial allegations of irregularities in a way that would manifest affect the could manifest affect the outcome of the election. So this isn't a willy. Nilly run around the country looking for votes. This is looking where there really are places and there are. Many allegations fraud claims in pennsylvania. Attorney General Barr Announces Publication of Cryptocurrency Enforcement Framework - But Do They Have It Right?

"So today your core, you posted a link and you're like, Hey, hey, everyone apparently, the attorney general thinks that crypto users criminals. And that's not tied in stay that I to say that I was like, Hey, you said, what did I say? Let's go up to. Say. I didn't say much honest I just said I basically Gerald. William William. Bar announced his publication of cryptocurrency enforcement framework. So maybe the article that dropped this relatively important. At least I thought it was. Open it up here. How many? Pages, CAV. Suggest to. Eighty something, right. Eighty three pages of the US Department of Justice. Framework on digital currency enforcement and. Too Long didn't read from what I can tell nothing too crazy except that they don't understand any of the legitimate use cases, crypto currency, and that's about fifteen pages of illegal uses of cryptocurrencies. You can see the Linda they're coming from. So it. All boils down What you said many times in the last few months that is government is not going to be comfortable giving up control of the current the power. Right that's all it boils. That's that's the theme here. Is that hey y'all crypto usages cute. And all, but we still are more powerful than you could ever imagine. I don't see. That way that may be true but at least in the context of this particular release. it's the Department of Justice. They're going to view it through the framework of illegal use cases in the things they're trying to stop and protect people from. Or catch bad people from doing stuff at when they look at cryptocurrency through that Lens enables a lot of. People who would like to do bad stuff to do it a little easier potentially. That's only Lindsey care about let's that. They're trying to like look at it having enforcement framework for. Like how does this enable the people we're already looking at and tracking and tip to stop to do the things that they're already tried to do. Not. Like don't expect. Quality. Like. To come from this. This is only going to be like. How do we stop it or how do we watch it? How do we? How do we survey? Harry punish people for doing the things that we're trying to stop the. Do they incorporate this into the has has like people sending money overseas. Like Tie ed to. Them harboring money or like putting money off shore for tax evasion purposes things like that, right? Proof could we put towards a specific type of cryptocurrency use case in the context tax evasion? Do. You think that the US DC an like these different. What are the combs CBD central digital currencies are just like vaccines for the financial systems of the of the of yesteryear? Are they just a way for them to basically you know? Put a virus in the CRYPTO system in see all the Times that crypto touches their digital currency. Just. A portal is the gateway this. He's from my perspective. This is a hard it's. What I like. So she says. Terrible. Terrible case worst case scenario is like, Hey. We got a handle on things things that had watched stuff key people for doing things, and now have a lot of controls on. Money floor or whatever like this comes out it's so dreadfully increases the access at ease in which people can sit value. Across the Now, we've got to do our jobs again. All.

N. C. the D. N. C. needs the state's they're they're not gonna get him but they need them they need Florida they need Ohio Pennsylvania which is red but it was blue just a few years ago if they don't get Ohio and and Florida and Pennsylvania and some of these other ones they're gonna lose again and this is that this is the last to rob this is the last chance workers should give their lives to do that Mister senator and I think your characterization is unfair we have provided enormous amounts of equipment we worked with the now I believe this is Mnuchin right Mike I'm pretty sure that's Mnuchin I guess I thought I recognized his voice so Steve Mnuchin is responding to senator brown and he said it exactly he said a much better than I did but it's an inaccurate description about workers giving their lives for the GDP do you see what the Democrats do workers want to go to work so they can feed their family US a person that has a small business that is watching the money being fire hosed away they're not thinking about the GDP either thinking about paying for their kids college or making a car payment the governors we've done a terrific job this sector I'm not going to make a political speech about how what a great job we hear that in the present just wanna blow hard I'm not gonna make you let it let you make a political speech that's all we've heard from the Democrats that's it that's we get political speeches we get grandstanding or as one of the gentleman said from last hour we get all these platitudes were all in this together we care deeply were all Americans yes we are the people are the population is the voters are the citizens are you got that right what you folks are doing in Congress we don't have a clue none of you have had your pay interrupted none of you have had your benefits interrupted and every day you do not miss an opportunity to trash the president of the United States and the other party yes I gotta tell you this and we're gonna get to the phones so you got me Gerard brown got me wound up yesterday I'm watching fox news Dana Perino has I forget when it was it was the middle of the day it was before my normal show that I do in Pennsylvania the afternoons and I've they had two Democrats on the a Democrat from Maryland I believe he wasn't a politician he was a he was an attorney and he was charged trashing the president just trash I mean just he was saying things like look at what the president's done he's he's destroyed this economy there are tens of thousands of people dead how many more people will die because of trump you know the standard leftist garbage the next guy comes up and he's also a Democrat he goes you know I think that the Democrats have done a great job of getting rid of partisan politics they've received reach across the aisle the next segment so one Democrat said president trump is a killer he destroyed the economy Republicans are evil the next democratic came on says we really need to work together this partisanship is really this is not the time to be partisan during a pandemic it was like watching Saturday Night Live Diane in Pittsburgh how are you Diane and how are you doing under the they over wolf yes I am calling from walls and war we western PA specifically hot mess Allegheny county and I say that because our election process over here is a hot mess can it is well Cheryl tell hot mess tell people what's happening the games that they're playing so here's what's going on we have a thirteen hundred and twenty some polling places in Allegheny county four hundred and thirty some preset municipalities and so recently within the last month the board of election of Allegheny county passed a resolution to ask war administration to reduce our polling places to approximately a hundred and fifty maybe a little less so we're down over eighty percent of our polling places at this point the polling worker training is a mass every polling worker is getting a different answer when they call no role training has been provided past March for the paper ballot scanning system which by the way is brand new this election supposed new system in the presidential election year right so anyway now what's happening is still pushing the mail in ballot as you know this is a national effort and so they're pushing it extra hard over here you know coded and we don't have enough polling workers in every municipality is going to one polling location blah blah blah so my husband who has a physical disability got a mail in ballot so I reviewed it when he came and we have a paper ballot fine he feels at odds it goes in an envelope marked mail in ballots which goes into a larger envelope addressed to the County Board of elections but on the backside of that in doubt by the way is the envelope with a stamp that goes through the post office on the back of an envelope he has to sign it he has to print his name and address there is a bar code which his name his voter ID number and party affiliation and then there's an additional sticker on the back of the outer envelope with his party affiliation and there you go that's how they do it tourney and I took a look you know where she is right to privacy you know my permitted to put this into a larger plane envelope he has no privacy his signatures physically visible going through the post office who by the way or not election officials they are third party brokers in this process so what happens to your chain of custody of the ballot at that point well I guess thank thank you for calling Diane you covered so much and for people just tuning in Diane's calling for Pittsburgh PA where governor wolf who we call the basement bully the silent tyrant or the uber waltz among other things governor wolf affectionately known as those because he stays in his basement he moved out the shutdown of Pennsylvania till June fourth and for people who don't know our primary election is June second well what happened there that's not political but as Diane was just pointing out the whole mail in ballots thing is a control mechanism that's all it is if it's not optional it's designed to control if someone says look if you really need to do it we understand that's why it's there just like absentee ballots but there are states that want to make it mandatory now what does that tell you in fact there are several states that want to make mail in ballots mandatory and eliminate voter ID wow you don't even have to be around the vote anymore we'll be right back you're listening to the EIB network has.

"Lose gonna talk to congressman Andy Biggs about Attorney General Barr saying not looking at Bob or biting at this time and hello sees cash giveaways legal tomorrow morning nine oh five a fantastic you're tuned into the Rush Limbaugh show this is Ken Matthews always a thrill and an honor to be sitting in for rush who's taking the day off undergoing treatment and the numbers eight hundred two eight to twenty eight eighty two but the EIB network and we're trying to get Americans to weigh in that are experiencing all the different levels of mismanagement and I I think actually I know I've never seen anything like it somebody asked me the other day is there any positive take away from coca nineteen and I would say that it it has been the great exposure of people that can handle hi seas and people that want to exploit crises so this has led us in we've we've now been allowed into the world of who really cares about the working men and women who really cares about the freedom to worship who really cares about pushing back on a police state now you're finding out you're you're seeing you're seeing some of the worst management ever and you're also seeing some of the best leadership and decision making across the country from from the grass roots level the ground level all the way up to the top the men and women of this country have been soaring during this pandemic because that's what we the people do that's why I get tired of it should say we're all in this together no no we're not governor wolf Pennsylvania governor Whitmer of Michigan sure not in it with us your your someplace else in it with someone else you're not in it with us as you would have opened up already you wouldn't have fallen for some of the hype in the panic you wouldn't be pounding on our president every day spare me with remember we're all in it together now put on your face mask or you'll be arrested in the subway that that's not all in it together bro with no respect for governor Cuomo I didn't want to slip up and say with all due respect because you haven't earned it governor you made a lot of bad bad mistakes and in typical fashion when you make a mistake you blame our president in the meantime places like Georgia and Florida they're rocking they're on their way back they're on their way back it will be a comeback but the comeback is because a smart decision at the top and many other smart decisions by the people of the United States from truckers to doctors I'm just I don't know about you but I can't I can't even stand to look at most of these politicians anymore Nancy Pelosi with her traveling band of misfits and wires they all had their mask on they were walking through the capitol the other day and I don't I don't know if you saw this but now did you catch this the Democrat house voted Friday for proxy voting for the first time in history why because you never let a virus go to waste you never let a crisis go to waste now the Republicans claim rightly so it's unconstitutional and unwise the reform was adopted in a near party line vote every Republican opposed it Justin a mosh of Michigan a libertarian he opposed it as well by the way Justin just ended his four day run for president congratulations congressman Ammash I know it was it was almost a week and you were rocketed three Democrats also opposed this what is it lawmakers can vote on behalf of up to ten colleagues if they have written letters authorizing them to do so I call it the photo by note act that's what I named it though by no but it kind of falls in line with the Democrats have been trying to do since the very beginning they don't want us to purge dead people from voting logs voting rolls excuse me like in Pennsylvania we have hundreds of thousands of them dead people so obviously they need those names but for what well they wanna make mail in voting mandatory and they want illegals to vote so to me the Democrats left this is right in line there must be a way where if ten of my colleagues don't want to come into work they can just write me a note and I'll vote on their behalf I don't like the way illegals vote in San Francisco all right let's get to the phones here on the.

"I'm Ian monsters into they would examine the number stories and issues in the news we'll begin with the withdrawal of for career prosecutors from the Rajasthan case after Attorney General Barr intervene to have his loyal newly appointed U. S. attorney for the district of Columbia overruled them asking the court for a more lenient sentence for Rajasthan this after president trump had angrily tweeted that the seven to nine years since his longtime friend and political dirty tricks to was facing was quote a horrible and very unfair situation warning that we quote cannot allow this miscarriage of justice joining us is Gary Lipman a former United States Attorney in Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the justice department who is executive producer and host of the talking feds podcast and a contributing legal columnist for The Washington Post way latest article is this is one of the most odious achievements of trump's presidency Attorney General William P. by US department has effectively gone rogue we'll discuss how Bosch actions in bowing to political pressure from the president and forcing his subordinates to do trumps bidding a devastating for morale within the department of justice undermining prosecutorial independence and violating the duty of prosecutors to bring impartial justice adding insult to injury of the unprecedented reservation of the full prosecutors vase new sentencing filing reads like a brief for the defense omitting all of the damaging actions and aggravating behavior of stone and repeatedly insulted the justice department and the judge as though expecting at the end of the day a pardon from trump then we're looking to have the coronavirus pandemic is impacting the Chinese economy and the global supply chain of water pots pharmaceuticals surgical gowns and facemask eccentric and speak with Vicky she professor of political science at the school of global policy and strategy at the university of California San Diego and author of economic shocks and authoritarian stability duration financial control and institutions he joins us to discuss using pings gamble in ordering people back to work to get the economy going again which risks the fed the spreading of the virus then finally will get an analysis of president trump's four point eight trillion dollar federal budget proposal for twenty twenty one which throws a record amount of money at the already bloated Pentagon while cutting programs for the poor like food stamps Medicaid the four wheel cataract and temp assistance for needy families shown friends that a senior policy fellow at the center for economic and policy research joins us to discuss how trump has extended his tax cuts for the super rich who found his campaign while sticking it to the poor who unfortunately often don't vote and joining us now is Hey let me the formula station turning Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the justice department is currently a professor of political science at the university of California San Diego is executive producer and host of the talking feds podcast a controlling legal columnist at The Washington Post ways latest article is this is one of the most odious achievements of trump's presidency Attorney General William P. buys department has affected be gone rogue welcome to background briefing Harry's Lipman thanks the end how are you I'm okay and but if I was working in the justice department I imagine I'd be and I'm happy camper what what are you hearing about morale because clearly what the Attorney General by hand I believe the guy was a loyalist of his Timothy Shea do is effectively ending shows career right he you will have no credibility even though he's now been appointed to lead the nation's largest US attorney's office well that ten shares of merry separate point but about around I think it's a bit small it's been very bad for awhile but it's hard to explain for people who aren't familiar with it just one anytime thunderous protest these for prosecutors bait yesterday I don't you know I think it's the biggest crisis for the department probably since the Saturday night massacre in nineteen seventy three if not before when respected career prosecutors resigned like this the ultimate protest they can live you know things are really really bad and the you know the basic contact here even if it had nothing to do with Roger stone and a friend of the president would be well eyebrow raising I was gonna say but that's probably an understatement it's unprecedented for an assistant US attorney to go through the process and they did here and make a recommendation to the court and then the next day have it be Yang and a new one bulldozed by the political leadership so that would already be an emasculated just it comes in the context of a you know what is what is a kind of reign of terror by the president to reward friends and punish enemies that the department has been harnessed to that and in fact it looks as if they they don't even have to communicate they just told us a career prosecutors it's really an abysmal situation so what is the even worse there my understanding is that the new filing that Shea made after the fall line prosecutors had quit the new filing admits all of the aggravating factors in terms of Stalin's crimes and his behavior you recall that he that he sent out a picture of a sniper scope cross hairs on judge very judge is gonna be sentencing in on February twentieth any member Jackson who from by the way it's been attacking on on Twitter if only the new brief raids lack of a brief for the defense not for the prosecution right I mean everything about it screams out the opposite of the institutional forces that the DOJ should be behind remembers stone here he not the correct in that judgment he was general Lee both hostile and sort of a joker toward the hall trial and and of course he went to trial and it's unfair we expect that regular practice department when someone goes to trial and if convicted exactly what was recommended here there might be circumstances where you would ask for something last baring your soul but those would be worked out at the professional level to do the normal orthodox career prosecutor thing and the very next day have the political leadership of the part that apartment bulldoze you and and put their food on and mac as it or is done being fine of no confidence in the in there you know flesh and blood the department of justice which is career prosecution cuter and this is a really the the gesture of all over you has been found arrest you can also see around the Twitter or final op ed articles federal prosecutors are not prone generally to hysteria are really screaming out in one voice that this is you know about the worst analysts think that sun in their recollection the display is really intense and palpable and again I'm speaking with hi let me the former United States Attorney Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the justice department is currently a professor of political science at the investor California San Diego he's executive and host of the Talking Heads podcast a contributing legal columnist at The Washington Post ways I just article is this is one of the most earliest achievements of trump's presidency Attorney General William P. bass department has effectively gone rogue any tweets at Harry Litman said then for a lay person Harry Lipman since you were you former US attorney and and Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the justice department specifically in terms of of what makes prosecutors tick and what what is the glue that held him in that job in terms of pride in their work and the kind of ethics and rules that they follow in that they respect I guess it comes down to a tradition of prosecutorial independence ride that certainly part of it but if there's also a rock solid practice and tradition dealing impartial justice without fear or favor that translated in this case standard guideline sentence for Roger stone and rarely that sentence would have would have taking consideration of the political prominence of the case and for that to happen overall rating suddenly and with such clear political agenda is and the a sign of disrespect the vin humiliation for career prosecutors really in several ways but the biggest insult adding to the injury is the fact that it's a case that involves a pal of the president and who who was banned actually hostile and and vilifying and Josh this and now the president tweets and possibly even with or without that sweet the political leadership take sides against the department in favor of the president's political power rock and then I can we narrow that trump is on hand really on a kind of mad missions his friends heard his enemies and help is brand apartment to action the permit itself be harnessed to those and is on real lady and never come all all is really in a call to what the people who show up every day think their job is about the dismay and the more of a station at the rink about department today is very strong well it's absolutely impossible not to see the obvious cause and effect he and the president tweets out angrily about the sentence that is coming down on Feb the twentieth floor is power Rajasthan it's horrible non fair and cannot allow this miscarriage of justice and then what almost immediately the next day the it's clear the Attorney General who many argue now is ten the just problem into a private law firm with the cell client of Donald J. trump immediately gets his close loyalist Timothy Shea to reverse the sentencing order Jude ignore all of the factors involved in the sentencing and present the call with one amounts to a defense brief from the car ride defendant all contents of the actual decision was on motion we came out but in some ways worse right it would be that even on didn't buy that sweet you know are and and she would have sprung into action to produce the politically pleasing result with again in like S. that stick in the art to the department of justice I am not not simply in favor up top that what they did it already and it's not in some ways I think it's more it's more worrisome would show a complete takeover five that department I I've suggested today people that well you really sound like tone and I wonder if we haven't found John bush the Attorney General who as politically engaged to do whatever it takes without even having been well because John Mitchell ended up in jail I'm not sure that bar and I don't and what part is doing even giving him the strongest part isn't sentiments user you know he's not going to be before the house Judiciary Committee he's a very sort of chest out with NFL probably come through okay but I his reputation I think you're going pattern on armor your heart breaking to those who saw him for it when you were Attorney General but it's it's beyond their there's too much that has happened for it to be explained by anything other than political support for a not for a president who among other things is a disaster with the rule of law and then the values that the department of justice stands for and by will be testifying before the house Judiciary Committee under a jam and I left on March the thirty first bet it what do you think explains why Bob allowed his reputation to be solid and shredded and why both buyer and came with the Shea effectively fell on their swords to help out trump to protect a buddy of trump's and he's also going to they are also trying yeah out of a really you know I've been asked this of art I what is the nature of the lead by Arnold might work which I thought would be institutionalized instead he would be a is an acolyte of our that that's not bar him smile you know I understand his or even political favoritism the president and I I think he more much more than I.

"Right welcome to the program it's interesting because reading the IG report other doing hearings on and now you I get the sense that it worked out really well the trump administration it show I think so too you know real problems at the FBI and all the various entities looking into the president and with the exception of the headline of there was no political bias I mean I'm not even sure that the political bias means all that much because if they store with these people's civil rights weather was completing competence or political bias it still happened everybody should be fired that was involved in this that made any of these so called errors errors or inaccuracies because there's no way as we talked about this yesterday there's no way that all of these things fell in one direction yeah you know you're gonna make a mistake you're gonna make it sometimes it benefits one side is sometimes about if it's the other all of them benefit against trump and we should point out that the political bias argument here is actually better than the alternative which is they just do this to everybody they want to fight a war on I almost would rather have it is they didn't like Donald Trump and works going after Donald Trump if they're doing this against everybody it's even worse yeah the whole system has to be dissolved yeah but bar a is Attorney General Barr is not it is not happy with the with the report and and he's not done and he's not done he was interviewed yesterday on NBC and here's what he was talking about when we talk about the evidence as it relates to Russia was a the harshest criticism yet of the FBI's investigation of the trump campaign Attorney General Barr said the FBI started with the thinnest.

"All right all right we're in this on classified document now this is new just released about thirty five minutes ago we're on page two this is the whistle blower reports that the Chuck Schumer said was devastating was just horrifying. I have a theory on this because I just stumbled across this now in their report describing the president's call that we heard yesterday this whistleblower says they trump wanted to initiate or continue an investigation in the activities of for vice president Joe Biden and his son assistant purportedly uncovering the allegations of Russian interference in twenty sixteen U. S. presidential election that originated in Ukraine with a specific request that the Ukrainian leader locate and turn over servers used by the Democratic National Committee and examined by U. S. cybersecurity firm crowd strike which initially reported Russian hackers had penetrated the DNC's networks in twenty sixteen I'm telling you this is what it is Jason pay attention to this for a second see if you can track this down see find where I'm thought I might thinking is flawed. they want to find the servers used by the Democratic National Committee why would you want those servers now. you want those servers because you want to see what's on them because your theory is that the Democratic National Committee was using foreign countries to find dirt on Donald Trump. they did it through what was the name of that organization the did the dossier. these new pasion GPS they did it through fusion GPS so they were one removed but if you want to find out what really happened is anything on those servers those servers that the DNC use our were were lost take in use now by an old dark. early in the Ukraine who has those servers now listen he wants the servers he also said the president wanted to meter speak with to the two people the president names explicitly is personal envoys on these matter Giuliani and Attorney General Barr with whom the president referred multiple times in tandem now isn't it interesting why would you use the Attorney General you want to do dirty business you don't turn you don't get the Attorney General in and last bar himself is dirty which I don't believe there's no indication that bar is a dirty guy now to the media of course there is no means a vase would say that and that is an interesting point though they're trying to use that as evidence that trump is utilizing government resource and. I'm saying that he's including Attorney General Barr so he's got a credible witness on what he's doing and he's talking to him saying look I think the Democrats when after me and they were the ones with fusion GPS and I think they used the the Ukrainians and they went through the Ukrainians to Russia to discredit me now listen to this. they possess the evidence that Ukrainian officials namely head of national anti corruption bureau of Ukraine and a parliament member Lukashenko had interfered in the twenty sixteen U. S. presidential election allegedly in collaboration with the DNC and the U. S. embassy in key. now so far this doesn't tied together in my head until I read this. the US embassy in Kiev specifically the US ambassador Marie Aeolic yojana of itch who had criticized Mr Los angles organization for its poor record on fighting corruption had allegedly obstructed Ukrainian law enforcement agencies pursuit of corruption cases including by providing a do not prosecute list and had blocked Ukrainian prosecutors from traveling to the United States expressly to prevent them from delivering their evidence about a twenty sixteen U. S. selection. now isn't that interesting we know that this as if this ambassador has been relieved at the U. S. M. bass embassy and we know that the two presidents spent a great deal of time talking about her and how bad she really was. now she's gone. but if she was obstructing people from coming to testify and to give evidence on the Russian. hacking or the with the Russian interference. forget about the DNC hack. think about the fact that the DNC. could have I'm not going to do to them what what the they do to Donald Trump they could have we know they did it through fusion G. P. S. gone through Ukraine to say can you dig up any dirt on Donald Trump. that's on their servers those servers are being held by ola guards that are not friendly to us. and the reason why the Nancy Pelosi flipped that fast she's been against this the whole time. the whole time. there's no smoking gun here there might be some things that you need to look into but there's no smoking gun and why they went in two days from no we're not going to impeach were in the middle to impeach. I think they are kicking dirt over their own tracks they're saying look this president was trying to find third on Joe Biden when indeed what he's trying to find out is did the DNC try to find dirt on me through Ukraine and Russia in the twenty sixteen election Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer and all of them would know if that came out and that was proven. they're done they're done everything they've accuse this guy of doing they did. I think that's in the national interest to find out. J. so when you think what's up I I completely agree with you I I'm this very I it it makes total sense now why the White House released this because if you're looking at this critically you don't see the Biden portion of what that's what everyone's making the story out to be an all out fight and it's not it's a very minor bullet on this hi this is not about Biden this is not the favored that they were asking about you know how the media report that yesterday had nothing to do with Biden but you see how they're trying to center everything on Biden this is all about Attorney General bars investigation into the origins of the of the of the rush investigation that's what this entire story is about that's this whistleblower complaint everything in here that's what this is detailing let me tell you something heads are gonna roll if some of these things are here for some of these things are true heads are gonna roll and they're going to roll in the opposite direction right I'm telling you right now the reason why the the DNC just reading just to page five on this my gut is telling me the reason why the DNC is doing this is because. they know this is a fight to the death which ever one wins this fight he either has to be impeached or we're exposed and we're doomed. it's just which side do you believe do you believe the DNC could have gone to Ukraine and said Hey can you maybe talk to some sources in Russia is there any dirt there on on Donald Trump if you think they could have done that. and there might be something on their servers. what the president and Attorney General that's the weird thing if this is so corrupt you have to then say Attorney General Barr is also nothing but a political hack and who knows maybe he is I don't get that impression I've never heard that said by by people you know until we get into politics but he was been respected. he seems to be doing the right things they keep trying to run him through the mud and it proves that nope that's not what I did well it sounds like Attorney General barges is literally just doing his job and from what I'm reading on here if if this if Solomon's report is accurate that's that's in that's bolted in this in this complaint is that the it's basically there is a verse of the Attorney General Ukraine the prosecutor general he came to us with this are hung he's it wasn't the other way around it wasn't bars snooping around and saying Hey you got anything no it says that he tried that he found this evidence all all the all these these cases of corruption within their own part country that that Ukrainians were involved with that with the with the DNC and the this US ambassador was helping them block certain people from being prosecuted because they were basically playing on their side right and I think that this is the way I think it's being presented by the whistle blower is. that was a result of this call in pressure right like these pressures they came from not only from the call itself but also guiliani before hand saying Hey you should go look at these things that they now have come back and this is the result the fruit of that labor right there saying that well now they're going to you're gonna get big public officials from Ukraine leaking this information and trying to move public opinion in this manner well it is so because it says that that these things happen in March the call would not have even happened yet another call at one eight nine th now this is this is old stuff they're going to try to make it seem like it is a result of the phone call but it's not all of this stuff the ambassador stuff that'll happen before the phone call right so what were they hiding white why was this ambassador we need to find out about the ambassador and find out about that I boy do we have the right guy on today because the guy who is is said to end this call a classified formerly classified documents the guy who's in this the reporter that is the one that they're now saying is just he's he's crazy he's dangerous he's got me on with us in about an hour and fifteen minutes you don't wanna miss that. wow it's a good day for that yeah I mean it it seems I mean at least the way I'm reading this it seems like they are saying it's not just the call right like that's it the evidence is not just the call the call the call is the thing that we know about first but is not necessarily the first this is the first thing that's happened. you know you are you following what I'm saying yeah yeah you're saying the call happened after this they know no I know that but you are you following what I'm saying about what trump and bar are actually looking for would be a knock out punch for him in twenty twenty but it would be a knock out punch for the for the DNC it would destroy the DNC because it would expose them of doing everything that they just sad Donald Trump has been doing. yeah no I mean them clearly I I think that's definitely a possibility right I mean we're the. I think like it's it's interesting here the media talk about this because the way they cover it and think about it if you're looking at from their perspective for second because it seems like they're just so so crazy on this and they are and the reason why they are those important that they are completely eliminating any possibility of good intentions right so if you take out any possibility that Donald Trump actually cared about whether the election was was manipulated well for good reasons not just how it affected him but just like maybe he cares about the United States of America as president if you remove all of the possibilities of good intentions this all looks bad. right you would also have to that you have to do that and that is a gigantic assumption and you can look I'm not going to assume I am going to assume the president is innocent until proven guilty so far nothing shows that he was guilty there's no smoking gun here but there is some there are some disturbing things in this but it works the other way now I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt that yes he is a self serving guy and he wants to win the election but he also is driven by what really happened where that dossier can't come from and that is in the national interest even though it is in his interest as well. that's what I think this really is all about how did this Russian investigation star did the DNC going use Ukraine this ambassador was blocking things you guys are rumored to have the servers we know that Russia was interfering with you guys we know now that is this ambassador was blocking all of this investigation and blocking any testimony and prosecutions. what's really going on here. I I think I think of this is going to be the fight to the death. and it has nothing to do with what you are seeing in the media I will give the D. N. see the benefit of the doubt I will give the I've already said what Joe Biden did is grotesque but it's not criminal but it is grotesque and you should know about it. but again not criminal. this is criminal one of these guys is right. will the left and the media give the benefit of the doubt to Donald Trump as we look into this because this is not a one sided game it takes two to tango and I think we are seeing the battle. of the deep state. and the battle of a guy who people think maybe out of control but these two Titans are coming and it will not go away if I'm right. one of these only one of these is left standing this has nothing to do really with the election for the Democrats. which explains hello CD and Schumer and all of the flip flop purrs. Jon Solomon who really knows the story inside out coming up and just a little while. first let me tell you about our.

"Attorney General Barr was with president trump and he also had some statements to make on this issue good evening thank you Mister president and congratulations on today's executive order which will ensure that we finally have an accurate understanding of how many citizens and non citizens live in our country as the Supreme Court recognized it would be perfectly lawful for the federal government to ask on the sensors whether individuals are citizens of the United States and it's entirely reasonable to want to know how many citizens and non citizens there are in the United States in fact the federal government has routinely ask questions relating to citizenship ever since the eighteen twenties but while the Supreme Court correctly recognized that it would be entirely appropriate to include citizenship questions on the census it never the less held at the commerce department did not adequately explained its decisions for doing so on the twenty twenty sensors because as the Supreme Court recognize the defect in the commerce department's decision was curable with a better record is it and asked me to work with secretary Ross to determine whether there remains a viable passed for including a citizen ship question on the census I did so in my view the government has ample justification to inquire about citizenship status on the sensors and could plainly provide rationales for doing so that would satisfy the Supreme Court and there therefore there is no question that a new decision to add the question would ultimately survive legal review the problem is that any new decision would be subject to immediate challenge as a new claim in the three on going District Court cases in addition there are in junctions currently in place that for me adding the question there's simply no way to litigate these issues and the pain relief from the current injunctions in time to implement any new decision without jeopardizing our ability to carry out the census which we're not going to do we're not going to jeopardize our ability to carry out the census so as a practical matter just to preen court's decision closed all passed to adding the question to the twenty twenty census put simply the impediment was not what was a logistical impediments not a legal one we simply cannot complete the litigation in time to carry out the sensors one other point on this some in the media have been suggesting in the hysterical motive for the day that the administration has been planning to add the citizenship question to this answers by executive fiat without regard to contrary court orders or what the Supreme Court might say this is been based on rank speculation and nothing more I should be obvious there has never been under consistent ever been under consideration we have always accepted that any new decision to add a sense of citizenship question to the census would be subject to judicial review turning to today I applaud the president for recognizing his executive order that including a question on the sensors is not the only way to obtain this vital information the course the president has chosen today will bring unprecedented resources to bear to bear on determining how many citizens and non citizens are in our country and will yield the best day that the government has had on citizenship in many decades that information will be used for countless purposes as the president explained in his remarks today for example there is a current dispute over whether illegal aliens can be included for apportionment purposes depending on the resolution of that dispute this data may be relevant to those considerations we will be studying this issue actual Asians again Mister president I'm taking this effective action thank you very much the.
