"Miss me you guys. I know it has been such a long time. Things have been wild over here. If you couldn't tell. I knew a lot of you have been following along on instagram. Basically what happened is. I took three weeks off the podcast for furniture. Flip because jesse. And i were flipping three pieces of furniture. We took on way too much very optimistic about how much we can dhakal and then three weeks i needed a break after that in three to four to five turn to the holidays and then gene ury but you guys i think i finally have it back together for real. I have so many amazing guests lined up like literally so amazing. I'm fan girling. That they're giving me an hour of their time So we're diving back in and we are diving back in strong and i also have a virtual assistant now. Whose name is lindsey and. She has changed my life. So i'm back. I'm sorry to keep you hanging and make you feel like. I ghosted you but we are diving back into all things. Home design and diy. I appreciate your patience and all of you. That have been supporting me on instagram. And begging me to get my butt back here in this chair with this microphone and here. We are hashtag obsessed so this week. I'm really going for the low hanging fruit in terms of what i'm obsessed with but it is my new spicer ac A lot of you saw this on the blog. Instagram but basically spices where stored in a tiny cabinet in my house falling on my head so i decided to take this essentially dead space like six inches of wall we go. Six inch nook atoll wallets belts like two feet wide and make a spice rack. Bilton that is so adorable. I got these jars off amazon. These custom labels off at sea built the whole thing but my favorite wallpaper and some gold bars on the front and it turned out amazing. I think it's like one of the projects i'm most excited about. Because it's like very functional and also beautiful not that most of my projects aren't functional. But this one like started from a place of pure function like. Don't want spices to follow my head anymore So if you haven't seen that you could go check it out I think jesse's planning to do one next to her fridge. So if you look at it you know like I don't have wall space for that Stay tuned because jesse's doing one that like polls out from the side of your fridge so yes. That is what. I'm obsessed with this week. It's funny because my husband does most of the cooking around here..

"I'm GONNA actually wrestling. Yes yes something other than their here comes the next year we are so that's that so for those who are trying to like what will they say this year you know same song and dance but we are going to do is a fun two part segment where we're going to kind of start art at the beginning of two thousand eighteen the year of the new idea and go chronological kind of cover some of the news some of the big of events some of the big moments we're going to break and then we're going to come back finish out throughout the year and then Kinda give our general thoughts of two thousand eighteen and then maybe some thoughts on what we're going to expect or hope for in two thousand eighteen with that being said Tim you want to get it started. I will get started. It is two thousand eighteen year ear of the new idea coined by Tom <hes> early on in two thousand eighteen on this on this show here now <hes> it took the whole year for W._W._e.. To come up with a new idea as it sounds we've yet to see it. We probably won't see it until two thousand nineteen eighteen or so they claim but it sounds like they got the message that it was the year the new idea bay you know maybe at least they've received a message so most of this is going to be w w based although there is some items <hes> <hes> from around the wrestling world that will hit on. Let's starting in January will just kind of rapid fire a bunch of these often. We can kinda hit on some of the points. We want to talk about right start off in start up in January raw twenty-five disappointed pretty much everyone right right right. I mean that was right. I mean a massive disappointment now to to their credit. Let's let's let's get into some of this. At I wrote out rumors and reports indicate route twenty five was heavily rewritten in the final hours before the show due to the suspension and eventual release of Enzo Amaury following amaury being charged with sexual assault and other similar crimes nephew. Remember Enzo comes out and I think nobody's denied this that him and casts. We're supposed to be in like eight segments at the show so in a deal with the A._l._p._a.. Were like they lose. I forget what it was like titles or something or something right. They lost something <hes> and the A._A._R._p.. Eventually wins it back for them in a card game at the in right like it was supposed to be this long drawn out storyline over the whole thing that that encompassed all these like old stars right like that was the overarching theme and then this happens in like the final hours before raw and they're like holy got Dannatt right so they had to like rewrite everything we find this out later but we knew then raw twenty trash now the Enzo Amaury situation. <hes> amaury was eventually cleared however already having a tense relationship with W._W._e.. Before the allegations <hes> <hes> they just let him go and we've yet to see the return of Amaury although Oh he did crash survivor series later in the year to be writ to be writ by the neck of the baddest female security guard you ever did see we also got the return of Jonathan Coachman to W._W._e.. Shinsegei Nakimora Camera One <hes> oh well. We'll talk about that later because you're going to hit on the events in February. We saw rich Swann get released from W._W._e.. After a suspension the prior month for Domestic Abuse Allegations Swan and his wife reconciled and charges were dropped however W._w._e.. In Swan agreed to end their working relationship computer beat and then we hit into March amid a social media backlash W._W._e.. Had to change the name of the Fabulous Moolah battle royal that they were planning for Wrestlemainia remember that Oh yeah and then well okay so the charges against Moolah were pretty damn when not charges but just the the allegations of what she was like we're pretty serious but <HES> <hes> a highly. This April highly reported boarded concussion related lawsuit against W._W._e.. By former performance was denied by federal judge citing a lack of substantial evidence that W._w._e.. New at the time in question that repeated concussions could cause long-term damage W W network hit over two million subscribers with one point eight million of those being paid subscribers page announced her retirement from entering competition performance in the age of twenty five due to neck injuries Bruno San Martino passed away at the age of eighty two Daniel Bryan returned to entering competition after a forced medical retirement two years prior <hes> and that's pretty much the big <hes> items of the news that led us into Wrestlemainia. You'RE GONNA hit on <hes> the story lines. What do you want to cover some of these new news items first before we get into that yeah? Well going a little bit into how long this year has been feels like the of that theme that I've always said is content over stories. I mean in two gene ury we had Nakimora winning the royal rumble and Enzo as you mentioned featured in eight segments best word to December not still the same and those gone losing his title on a forget about episode episode was really good but typically the Christmas episode is a kind of throwaway episode. Yeah throwaway layup is exactly right yeah. It's a warm up pre-game warm-up layup losing his title to Rousseff and like you said Enzo Maury and big cast. We'll yeah. We'll cover that later because that happened later in the month but that's even. In the news but yeah I mean blood I even saw on the news recently though that they because they even had an actual legit beef even after that they went and had lunch the other day and we're Kinda you know what I mean it would be neat to see them. Get Out and do some work <hes> well that make the the most money possible because act bill new Japan than in so post this video and he never shows cast but he's just like. I'm going to go have lunch with the buddy right and you just shows him and he's like a Oh buddy. Hey where we're gonNA go have lunch. You think maybe the outback in here how you doing right and he's like maybe the sizzler and he's like how you doing. He's like we get some shredded lettuce and he's doing. He's like shredded cheese right and they just do the whole bit and I'm like it's fun. You WanNa play along. It's fun and we've got more stuff to cover about. What's coming up in two thousand nineteen? Maybe maybe there's some high profile avenues for them to be displayed on so let's let's breaking K.. FEHB though that does work against Enzo is as you mentioned he had a tense relationship with backstage <hes> personalities in management so <hes> as you're alluding to two thousand nineteen. I don't know if he's going to be the warmest welcomed. He hasn't changed right but what I was GonNa say is as far as for W._W._e.. The A big storyline obviously the start of the year is always going to be the royal rumble and as I mentioned Nakimora won the men's but this was also the very first women's troubled by Oscar and the other thing another kind of changing storyline as we go throughout the year is the universal title-match remember how good this was it was brock listeners champion versus Braun on stroman versus. Kane does the one where brock listener gets distracted outside. They start to wheel him off. People are singing the Nana hey we're all thinking I'm like well. This is when he goes to the U._F._C. Right that silverback Griller fucking comes back out and that was one of the best matches early on in W._W._e.'s library of matches so wanted to point that out so yeah two thousand eighteen started off with a bang starting yeah promise now I will also highlight what also happened in the story lines <hes> is INEX- T at takeover New Orleans which was on Wrestlemainia weekend chomping Gargano put on entering storytelling clinic in their unsanctioned match right. Remember this one with the crutch and the brace and everything the storytelling of that match if I were to name a match of the year it's it's probably that one for me. Oh Yeah I will say say this without a doubt without a doubt in my mind. The storyline in any Promo- was CIAMPA Gaga of several years of several years for me T._v.. Push this point home even more like if I were ranking them I would put that number one two and three and then we can start the conversation like that's how special that whole series of matches promos vignettes everything was it was spectacular but yes the buried. I think this match here the unsanctioned one with the the brace the auto us. I thought that was the best story that's what I mean like. Storytelling storytelling told us that I've seen in will I think since like the feeling I got from it from a storytelling perspective. I haven't felt since mania twenty-five with the Michael Take it was so well done. That's one of the matches that's ten years. Fuck Yeah when I get that's one of the matches that I get proud to show other people like to watch when stone cold no kind of pushed out on that but take me braces to motherfuckers faces. Check this shit yeah like if you want like yeah I mean that was that was drama especially. If you knew the story line you knew the history I mean that was amazing job with the package going. It's Matt you could show that whole body of work then yet and the match and I think anyone would at least say like wonder what they're doing now in I'd Blake hold. Can we also hit on what also happened. In April April was the greatest royal rumble in Jeddah Saudi Arabia and this is the first and we're GONNA talk about a couple of these where W._b.. Clearly was more focused on global expansion than they were television storyline writing the greatest royal rumble. Was this big deal right and we're all like well. If this is the greatest why we've been watching all these other you know and the only Lee real long lasting highlight and talking point is titus O'Neil making a fool of himself this whole this whole event was really for nothing but yet we get titus slip and slide it was it was spectacular in the sense of that's probably the greatest botch of all time you couldn't do it again. If you tried yeah could recreate it. You know everyone always talks about the shock. Master in the shock master was detrimental because it kind of ruined his career when I yes. O.`Neil will be fine now if he does because you have to do that on the scene yeah but because he already was somebody we didn't care about right but what I was GonNa say is this is the greatest botch because this had the most is a marquee like you said the greatest the first ever like how many high profile spot eighty thousand people there yeah <laughter> compared to shock master who did it in front of people. It's like he did this mania exactly yeah I mean it was comparable to mania missed out on WRESTLEMAINIA. Mania was happy to be a part of this show as we go on those greatest row rumbles crown jewel. I think we've discovered like oh so this is just a glorified. How show right we have yeah couple segments on your Monday night raw because it's feels like you should but then it everything's GonNa stay the same which is cool change but like don't sell it to us like it's a big deal but maybe well all but those people over there also get the later? They get to watch raw later so they've got to see the W._B._Z.'s over here like oh my gosh. This is the greatest thing and they go look. Everybody thinks it's the greatest thing and we don't well what else man that was leaning to mania. We're going to take a break and come back and do the rest of the year and then kind of look forward to two thousand nineteen just so we can kind of break this into easy segment so we have a time to refill our drinks and whatnot in the meantime. If we're going to take a break no you're probably listening to this podcast or watching a video so doesn't really work that way but if you WanNa posit and also take a break feel free to go to Spanish announce table Dot net brought to you by double d because he donated some money on the pay pal using table show gmail.com.

There was even talk of putting his face on billboards for all intents and purposes. Dr. Dench had a gleaming career head of him as a neurosurgeon. Jennifer Miller was coming in town to see Jerry every other weekend, and they were talking on the phone regularly. But on one of the calls, Jerry gave Jennifer, some surprising news. It was gene ury. I guess Jerry said, hey, I'm Chris gonna do surgery on OEMs said what? What? For what? And he said a my nag. Jerry told her the Chris was going to fix an old football injury that had gotten worse after a car accident. I didn't want Tony negative Bob's out there about the surgery, but I remember saying, are you sure, and that was my response. Are you sure? "Yes. I love it. I love. I listened history. Well, one of the best podcasts at their love Milken cloud will, even though a lot of the stuff he says is, absolutely. I still love him. It's funny. But I mean there was an episode. All about hockey. Pull the goalie that is a good way down your down like three to one wreck the puck minutes and forty seconds before the end of the game goalie. This new put we calling pull the goalie and what's not. Why are you still listening. This show is terrible. Why are you. Please. On your podcast, you say my arm fixed gene ury because it was fun and I look, I got you all worked up. I'm feeling of flushed because you got, hey, they gotta make a part be part of it off. They get that parts company. What kind of car are you? Gonna drove with a gas card at fifty dollars a day. I'll tell you this right now. By that time, Mel son will be in college. He'll have a model three just city driveway. You might as well the battery. She's going to college inflict three months and three wrenching car. You're renting a car from food Bukhar rentals. Renna car from turbo make the guy pay extra money. I don't know. I rented a car from taros. It's like an interesting experience. Tesla's are two fifty a day in LA. I paid less than that with. That's on. It was actually it was thirty dollars more for me to rent that model s. then it would have been for me to rent the Hundai from enterprise. That's ridiculous. So I did it. Yeah. Could you imagine me renting out my car with tiger stripes on the side? And I went to a super charger near in that mall in Oregon, and it cost me a hundred dollars because there was a Columbus door. What you end up jackets? Of course, I did. Oh, my is going to be a Twitter episode wrong with me. Why does this morning. I'm going, I feel like it's a Muffin. "I'm Aloma lot where you like watching dries like this in my jumble. It's like waiting. Yeah, right. The twist coming. All right. So it's like the negative space in a painting, his movies, sometime this one, I guess it's Bruce Willis versus these two guys or glasses, like manipulating them, and you see the beats climbing around was the big villain in breakable. Yeah, super smart and super break, breakable, breakable, and even that I was like, holy shit. This is fucking superhero origin movie. I did not, and you don't think it is going into it. So I kinda love how he's marketing these. But now he's, he's pulling a crossover. Sarah Paulson also is a, she's great. She's the the doctor lady. I gotta see split and then split. Yeah, if I saw split gene ury, twenty nineteen. Okay. Let's talk about one more controversial trailer before we take a break place promos controversial. Well, maybe controversial for some people talking about moving the television shows. Now we're done with the movies, the titans trailer that will be on the DC streaming service, the trailer that comes out with Robin going, fuck that. And but you see all of them and action beast, boy, Robin Hawkins of star fire and raven. And it seems to center around raven kind of finding those group and dealing with her powers. This is surprisingly, here's you dark DC like they're going. This, this is kind of this. It's kind. It also has kind of like a like a CW feel, you know, in terms of the TV soap opera, but clearly it's, it's it's maturity since he's swearing it. Some of it looks supervisor. I'm kinda hyped for the titans. I wanna know because look do, okay. Everyone has a problem with him, dick Grayson going, fuck, Batman. I understand that. Let's talk about that because I think that could be in context a very good reason for him feeling this way. Hey, Anthony, would you think I don't have any problem with them saying I, it's not the fuck band. Okay. I'm not mad, but it's just the fact that he, it's dick Grayson is so fucking brutal that is not Robin dick Grayson at all that Grayson's Robin was always the hopeful charming sidekick to him. He was always the, the guy that made Batman a little bit. Yeah, for him to be this brutal doesn't ring it. All to me. What decrease in is if you're going to have a brutal Robin, cast Jason, Jason tied cast Damon Wayne. But if you're going with a Robin, that stomping people's faces, yeah, it's not dick Grayson, but this is a Robin on his way to being night wing. Also, Jason show that doesn't doesn't really change. His wing doesn't date wing is still hopeful. So look, Jason Todd is in the show. I'm just imagining there's a part where like Batman picks Jason over Robin, or he just gets dick mad and dick has a little fucking tantrum. But yeah, this kind of out of character. I guess when we put it that way, he is. That's that's basically Zack Snyder version of of batteries. What did you think about this overall? The only thing I liked was Robin, yeah. I mean, I mean, even even though the fuck Batman thing is that a character, but that was the only thing that really. Oh, that's cool. I may be raven. I wasn't too how to naming else, to be honest with you. Spoiled looks Looks like. like go and get the DC network or whatever because of the show. Now. In the show would be like if I were to see like a really awesome action sequence out that's beyond the arrow verse does says she'll does. We're, I'm like, okay, like hawking look, okay. Yeah, I think they might steal the show hopefully so so the this show, the season of the show has Jason Todd in the midseason doom patrol is going to be on it and they're going to spin off to their own things. So if there is dick Grayson becoming night wing, Jason Todd's in this becoming the red hood who's I don't know and do they. I wonder if they do like a shadowy, Batman and silhouette as a cameo or something. I'm kind of intrigued with titans. I, I love the fuck by man. I don't know. I just like it's for no reason. It's dark what it doesn't need to be dark, but it looks a little more violent than eat it. Okay. Look, let's take a quick break place. The promos comeback. Talk about some more trailers in news announcements from San Diego this year..
