Oh and by the way this is according to a washington post columnist. Henry olsen biden's numbers. This is not a precursor bland tidings his numbers with independence continue to crater his five poll average among independence from a recent realclearpolitics poll. Thirty four point two percent approval fifty seven a total disapproval. Now if you're keeping score biden harris and where calmly. These days has dropped thirty. Six points among independents overall their ten points lower than president. Barack obama was at this point this very same point in his presidency now among the president's problems rising inflation. Oh no. There's no inflation plastic misdirection. We all know there's inflation. Many say what the president needs to do what is old boss did and did so. Well just get out there and sell the hell out of this bill but Biden side of a very very scripted. And well a very contained event here in there. It's not it's not exactly engaging with us is and ask for doing a one on one interview with a major broadcast news outlet. Well the president has done exactly one of those in the past. Eighty three days at this point biden pelosi. "An inkling that you might want to run barrels. Are you might want to right. There was the fear. Yeah and so in that you know that thought process. Everyone wants to be that even if it's for minute absolutely and and then some try and fail and then some get deeply ingrained into it and love it it is. It has been part of my husband's off since he was fourteen and he misses it deeply. And he's helping a kid right now and it he loves it absolutely loves it but the fact of the matter is that that is no different than what paul is talking about to these people that are having dinner party and they are eating and drinking because they deserve it and those radio people that come in later we'll get the crumbs off the tankful well and we're not talking about going to a big rodeo in a big arena nauseous tighter just talking and the small towns you have access to everything out rodeo and so so that being said i can relate to this honor and shame because people are man. I would love to run barrels and then arado horse are able to. I can't tell you how many people like i want to come around. I wanna come ride. The truth is that they do for a minute. You know But in the same token no one ever says like man. How awesome is it to rot an animal that god created that is so powerful yet obeys just the simple command of your your. He'll are your toe or your highland bid in their mouth. Just have been and some of them playing that have a bit day. How awesome is it because they were built for war as a lot of power there so how. No one asked that question you. No one asked that question because we don't make those connections. And so i think with you know we go. We go to church where there are people that come in wearing motorcycle cuts that come in with hats on their head that come in in bhutan. Gene jane's there possibly someone that may still be dropped from saturday. Nah tali likely and when you give them the front of the table thinking man. We don't wanna do that. We don't even want them. We want them to say you know when you get your act together then you can come in and this whole honor and shame thing. Jesus says the only way you get your act together is when you're sitting at my table and you see who i am. Yes so until we can reverse that. I don't know that. God causes our god and that's hard. It is hard hard to reconcile. It's hard to walk through. It's hard to speak about him. And why did you give me the hard question. Well and and let me just say it. It makes me wanna do better it does. It makes me one. And that's one of the reasons i wanted to do. This book is that if he can convict us. And you judgy people right tommy horribly. It can convict. I want people to to read this. It doesn't mean you have to agree with them but read it because the holy spirit will convict you even if it's your own personal or if it's as a collective it will convict you to do better towards others ticket to show that yourself across. So i'm gonna. I was gonna say we both pick the same one that we just nagy. Just now here we go never to as a bearers of the name of cross our conduct is not our own private business gets any. It is the business of cross church together. This is clear. When paul discusses the immoral man in the in corinth pau brings and. that's i corinthians. Five one through eight. Paul brings full weight to the matter by indicating it was a community problem. How does this chapters discussion in honor and shame inform. I corinthians five okay. This is the story about the man who was sleeping with his father's wife. Rot yes okay. And they excommunicate him and we always count look at those. That's vote the rule for church discipline within the problem was he repented and the church wasn't forgiving him and bringing him back into the fold and you know and i- judgy me. I have been wrought. They're saying part of the problem with the charge is that we don't want to have any discipline and you know now that i'm now that i'm looking at things a little bit different. I think that discipline is important in the church but i think that the discipline is something different than what what i've been seeing so for me. The problem with discipline is that we're not addressing a problem thereby forcing the person to other change or leave or refusal. Even be excommunicated or whatever we see as the need. I think it's pretty safe to side that there are times when we feel like an example should be made of for the benefit of the church. And i'm not saying that that's not true in that there aren't times when that might actually need to be done clearly needed to be done here but but wait a minute because this is the one where hall tells them. I'm writing to you not associate with anyone. Who calls himself a christian. Who is sexually immoral or greedy or an adulterer verbally abusive or drunkard or a swindler. Do not even eat with such a person. For what do. I have to do with judging those outside. Are you not to judge those inside. But god will judge those outside removed. The person from a minute pause telling them that to remove him well he is not the not. The routes are okay but still kind of the same principle. He's not only saying he's got to be removed from the church. But you also have to do that outside of the church you know. We semi gets excommunicated from the church. But he's the.

"Solution. I think when you know if you've ever watched assignments annette golden circle video he talks about what gets you out of bed in the morning and why should anybody care for entrepreneurs. It's i want all the problem and i'm gonna pour my life into solving that problem annan the money as we'll come by product all right so let's talk about the sixteen year old yeah my sixteen this sixteen year olds. I watch do not say i wanna do that. Therefore i'm going to be here earn a lot of money and then go do it right. What what they say is. I want to do that and how can hack into it yeah. How can i do it with the resources. I currently have and if it's a dollar fifteen. How can i use dollar fifteen to break through the obstacle right. It's not long ago over here in in earn a couple thousand dollars a month and then <hes> bring that over here and then i can spend my money to find this. That's a a huge difference absolutely <hes> certainly more resourceful also in that bloomberg <hes> article and remember the percentage but they said there was a percentage of them felt that they were more resourceful than the previous generation so <hes> yeah i totally agree we'll see and i think the the things that i wanna pick up on in in help is to identify those kids who are otherwise going to be failing because because people tell them you can't do that. That's against the law. You shouldn't be doing that. That's out of the norm but to find that place for them because in a real sense the marvel comics are our models right yeah. It's this whole notion of of <hes> we are. Superman in our own. Way in the world has told us we're not right in the world has told us when we exhibit those you shouldn't do that right in fact there was a movie we saw. What was that the glass if you've seen the nights unions ends glass no not yet. It's it's a trilogy. It starts off with unbreakable then goes to crisis and then goes to glass in the whole point of of of his trilogy is that there are many superman around and that that there is a group of people whose job is to go around to stop them from exhibiting their superhuman allow right wow and and so you just get you know what shem aliens do it to me is just challenging me with that notion and then it's like oh we do that we have. We have institutions that are paid to do. They're called schools. Yes exactly i. It's this whole conflict conformity piece which which begins with. I don't care hear what you want. This is what you have to do yeah and and what i see in the sixteen years old sixteen year olds is they don't believe i believe that anymore got right. I one hundred percent. I want that. I'm going to go get it yep. I may not have any money but i don't need money. I might need people. I might need resources but a lot of it is just confidence and commitment. Yeah and i can get it yeah <hes>. There's there's <hes> i'm also. I like to think too that <hes> there's books and things of that nature that day should be also subscribing to so. I think that's a resourceful standpoint today. They've got youtube. They've got audible. They've got blinking. They've got a number of those types of resources but you just reminded me of a book that i read the other day that i love and i haven't written it. I read haven't i haven't read it in ten years but it was called the dream giver talked about a guy named ordinary that was sitting on a couch that one day he woke had a dream and he started pursuing it and people all the naysayers acer's family friends everybody else we're telling him. No you can't do that and then he didn't listen to continue to go on so those are the types of things that i think when we look at resources <hes> <hes> we shouldn't put on the shelf. I think you pun intended but i think book reading and reading is something that if i was to encourage a young entrepreneur of hey i know it at school may not necessarily fit within your <hes> landscape of what's working for us and individual but never give up reading never give up improving yourself never give up finding new ways to add value in a lot of those new ways to add value often times come from reading books or in this case today landscape listening to them or to the challenge for you and me is to write those books. That's fun right yeah and that that's that that's basically what what dan sullivan did to me. First conversation with him was <hes>. I i said to him. You know i'm i'm <hes> he you know. I'm in a program to ten times what i'm doing in that could be anywhere anywhere from ten o'clock in influenced annexing <hes> product taxing revenue. It's it's dream big and so i said the dan i sedan <hes> you know ten x. I'm seventy two in <hes> what i need to ten x anything for i mean i'm living living the life. That's very nice very comfortable. Why don't you text anything and he said well. What do you expect to be doing and i said well you know next three to five years self. I worked with fifty different companies and help him with entrepreneur operating system and make you help them transform their business. Make it better you said oh. You have a five year program. I said one ever thought about that way and he said so. You're seventy two. I said yeah he said i'm seventy four and i have the first of two more twenty five year projects six. So what is your twenty five year project. While are you asking me that you right wow and that was like a two you buy four to my forehead which generally changed my life for sure right yeah because now i'm in pursuit of defining what that twenty five years is. What is it. What's what what kind of what kind of commitment do. I have to what kind of contribution to the world twenty five years. What's a legacy going to be right. Well you talk about legacy but it's legacy is something that you look at after it's done. I'm looking at the fun of getting there and all of a sudden. <hes> you know good. Health is not something just to make feel better tomorrow. It's be ready for twenty five years in <hes> that that's where dave is dave asprey. Who's one of dan's students and bulletproof. Coffee makes a huge amount of sense. Yeah i it it. It's it's also you know. Exercise exercise is not something just so. I can sleep better tonight. It's to prepare my body for this next twenty five years and beyond and and then the imagination is freed up up right because when when you think about twenty five years in ninety ninety day quarterly steps right right yup. Do you know how many that is. That's one hundred that's one hundred quarters yup and that means that you only have have to progress one percent a quarter to get to the twenty five year goal. That's awesome. Isn't that something that's i'm. The wheels are turning. Ah change. The perception changes the whole world about how we do it all right now. It's like oh. I don't have to get that done tomorrow. Yeah and it's not procrastination. It's there's no pressure. Yep i can wait until i find the right people yeah and then we can talk very well and it's looking at how we're going to make significant changes in in listening driving over here today to intervene gene jane. Do you know being being. I need a client all right excellent well viacom right all right so donovan jane and i i haven't met him personally but it's through peter de amandus up in santa monica who is one of dan's dan's up of students and <hes> and dave asprey and and so i was listening to navene new podcast called moon shots and he's he's speaking. He's got on his moonshot. He's got his coach ted for twenty years and this is talking about the changes that people can make in the world and he's talking about identifying a thousand of the best people the most equipped young people putting them together so that they can change the world awesome so it's not it's not for me. It's not a matter of what's my legacy going to be. I don't really care about my legacy. What i care about is what is going to fuel me for the next twenty five years. What's going to get you out of bed in the morning yeah even though i'm i'm getting a four eight hours of sleep at night you go. I need to be getting full eight hours. I need to get back to that so tell me what are you excited about for the next six months jeez <hes> well i think in my landscape from an agency standpoint amazon's new you know <hes> what they call o._t._t. Over the top <hes> television mindset advertising is extremely extremely relevant if you look at you know <hes> cord nevers and cord cutters to be able to advertise them especially with the audiences that we've been talking about this is a this is a phenomenal wave for brands to get back to being top of mind <hes> and the cool part about that with regard to amazon is you can <hes> from a targeting standpoint begin to identify lifestyles instead of just painting a big broad-brush and putting on every television for every show and things of that nature <hes> can get really granular and refined in hyper targeted so that it's extremely relevant which improves they are experienced by the way with your ad and putting your brand top of mind but then the fun side of it on the backside is if we could actually look to see how well it performed and that's something relatively new right in a digital mindset. That's number one. I think we are about to launch our own kind of deals and review site ourselves called price breaks dot com that is really exciting. <hes> in the mindset that we want to be a one-stop destination for the everyday shopper take the best deals but also reviews. I saw gap again. I saw something missing in the third party. Editorial review landscape as well as within the deal site kind of deal promotor type landscape and kinda wanna marry those two together so that's pretty exciting <hes> and then <hes> for me i think tying it all together with software that brings in all those data points to be able to help a brand understand what the landscape looks like of whether they're advertising's working or whether they're growing organically is their brand reach growing <hes> all of that those are the three things that for me are the most exciting in the next six months <hes> talk to me about <hes> <hes> about the philosophy of advertising <hes> those were the fella yesterday <hes> the and he was he's a good friend and he was he's talking about moving business forward enlarging his business and he was talking about the process because while i was asking about his process and so he's beginning to think about a put together and said well of course here is where i would tell them about what i do in for him. It was way up front <hes> and and what i begin to hear from him was what that advertising for him meant telling them what i can do. Sure what i said to him. Was that's going to get in. The way of a sale will sure right. What you really want to know is what are the issues that they have now. It might be that you can help them. Articulate those issues by by the quality of the questions that you ask but i have to find out what problems they have yep right and what they they what they might want to solve if they believe that was possible yeah and and for me <hes> my my sense in in businesses businesses that most people most people who have not bought from me don't know that it's possible to solve the problems that they have. I i mean they've they've. Maybe they've gone through enough solutions or programs that didn't work to kind of anesthetize them or to inoculate them so it's like well. I don't work in so helping them to articulate their own issues way before for i even begin to suggest these are ways. It could be could be solved now. Is it possible that advertised that there could be advertising agencies like that. I like the mindset of going back to that simonson at golden circle video in his book start with the why right if you start with they mess marketing message and or an advertising message that helps explain to an audience why and for us in that landscape. It's what's the problem that we're going to help you solve. That's a much more powerful awful message than the up front loading them with a what this is what i do right if they don't understand why they need what he does..

"To what stop fifty hit a sour note when a major financial backer pulled out, and it seemed the concert to commemorate the iconic nineteen sixty nine event at Maxine skiers farm was off. But co-founder Michael Lang said organizers are committed to move ahead with the August show in Watkins Glen, New York, the hope is to bring in new financial backers. More than eighty artists have been lined up from Santana to Jay z and Miley Cyrus another concert will take place that same weekend at the original site, Steve Kaethe and CBS news. I'd wanna go with suck show. Yeah. One of the original was a mess, and I'm not old enough to remember that. But go cock is dead, by the way, I twenty fourteen he was at the original. Maybe he must've been but I love the idea. I mean, celebrating these these milestones and that concert symbolize that moment in our country's history right hippies. I mean, some of the most iconic photos ever taken these for taking on Woodstock. I love the story. But hopefully, this version whatever it has a being turns out as interesting as the first one, let's end with this Wisconsin sports awards annually done by good karma brand. It's going to be held the first week in June at Pfizer form, they have the nominees out. I'll give you one moment of the year. Rogers mounting that comeback against the bears on opening night game. One sixty three brewers beating the cubs to take the NFL central. That's number two. Number three is Woodruff. Brennan Woodruff homering off of Clayton Kershaw. Yes. Marquette forcing overtime at Creighton after being done by five with a second and a half left for me. Was pretty remarkable. It was amazing. It's not like the other one. And the last one the the men's basketball team, Wisconsin beating number two ranked Michigan in January five moments of the year, which takes it on. I'm biased towards NFL football season ticket holder. I love the what he did in that game was remarkable in the season. But it's remarkable career perspective. He was to hold off the field. We find out now a year later that he had a broken tibia. You lead. They looked embarrassingly bad in the first half. And they look like the team we all thought they were going to be at that point of the season. Incredible. In the second half to me as much as I love the game one sixty three which was epic on its own merits. I love the air Rodman that that. If that doesn't symbolize what that guy's about. What he brings the sports that game. Is it? It's a pretty cool presentation. It's a huge event eighth annual Wisconsin sports awards will be taking place at Pfizer forum June six downtown sat next to Doug Russell at last year's. Yeah. She bought me a beer to have a bureau YouTubers. All right. Sounds good. So that's date. Mark that down on your calendar. So my pick. I don't know who's gonna win. They don't tell us. I think it's going to be around put I could be wrong. Really's as beating the day where a story last year. Of course, you hear them right here on WTMJ. All right coming up after the news. "Jordan plays out the bumper music as we get prepared to talk about number three of the four ten which Bill said is the almost revelations in the latest piece by Tyler Bleacher report. Boy, man, what happened to our remember that that was the go-to team. Right. The packers. Everything would be fine. They're going to play offs. Now. They're like the stumbling knucklehead that's not true. They got a new coach excitement signing. I had a lot of as you know, a lot of respect for the Packers already it. But nobody comes out of this thing looking good. Let's let's play a little bit Tyler done joined the morning show. Wisconsin's morning news, gene, Miller and Jane this morning a little bit of that that interview. And then we'll go from there. I get the first part of that about ten minutes after Mike McCarthy said that everybody has every right to defend themselves. I mean, he he should I wouldn't expect him therapy. Anything out of my parents after that, I got from one of the players who told me about that all kind of guys out, and and you just kind of scratching the head. Instead, I'm not so sure why he's denying that. It was pretty widely. It's bizarre. Basically, you know, I think there are probably a lot of players who didn't know about that part of it. And look that was just you know, one very. Small part of a very larger problem. And I think that they're going to know about it didn't know about it thinking about the problem, the problem, even at a player Tommy well, Kurt about it. But I wonder if it was a rumor kind of PECH waited by Iraj IRS, maybe it really does to function, and it all started very early. It only got worse overtime. And now this all goes back Tyler to when Mike McCarthy passed him over it. Does it does? You know? I think that four and a half, whatever it was our weight in the green room, you know, that that's part of the story. Right. And that's what makes him great. That's what makes him that show that chip. It's that grudge. It's unlike anything sport, you know, a lot of the great habit, but he takes it to different level. I mean, there's been counting the story. Narrowed a lot of myself out there and help the head of this guy is and it does fit into that. Ryan grant talked about that. That on the record players talked about it on and off the record on how couldn't get off on a cookbook with Mike McCarthy there started with a, you know, a lack of respect to some degree because he knew Mike McCurry said al-qaeda better quarterback. Now, I think that they were they tried to work they worked out but every row under winning. He's talking to people close to them things this coach out of nobody's doing in. The Roger goes down in two different seasons. Interim kind of the flawed without Bose. It was one thing after another point eighteen where they had to end, and it really should ended. But said Thompson and step in. Nobody else stepped in. That was a Bleacher reports Tyler done of join gene Jane in the morning here in Wisconsin morning news. I don't even know what to make of this. We're talking about massages. We're talking about a player saying that their coach is is a low guy. Yeah. I mean, I have ball. Obviously it's his off the field, but men or men I said it before no fate again, though across the Aaron Rodgers is always a great Aaron Rodgers. So you always want that edge chip on the shoulder with him because he always seems to play better that way in this case. So I have to make yes, there are reasons to be frustrated in be said that your favorite team may not may not have been old roses inside the locker room there. But not that every team, right? No team is perfect that hey, that's one thing. The second thing. I would say is this just win. I you know, what if the quarterback wants to be a diva in wine in bicker with the coach behind. Closed-doors? Go ahead just win. Who cares? Honestly, who cares that they had this rip? Now it's frustrating because according to Tyler done many who who feel they could have won a couple of Super Bowls more than done a lot of us. And maybe this is the root cause of that issue, which is just unfortunate. But as far as being crusty, I'm never going to defend it. But just if if you're going to be that good. I don't care if you're crusty interesting thing that comes out of the success that the bucks and the brewers have onus on the Packers. Now, you gotta step it up with the new coach you gotta pick your game. And I love the fact then that chip on the shoulder thing is huge for Aaron Rogers. He's a guy that likes to be a little bit on the edge. Somebody say you can't do this. Then he tries to do it done in for some of the off season workouts coming to Green Bay. I wonder if they'll let him in I made this my my show today, and the people that actually give him more choices. So I said bleach. Reports Tyler done wrote a story critical the relationship between Packers coach experts coach Mike McCarthy, Aaron Rogers. So I asked who do you believe Mike McCarthy Aaron Rodgers I got thirty two comments saying, I don't believe either one of them. I believe in both. It's kind of an interesting dynamic. But that's why we give you the chance to come. You can find it at Facebook at Facebook dot com site, six twenty WTMJ or Twitter at six twenty WTMJ. Hundreds of people have already voted on. We do that every day on the shore show poll today, who do you believe Mike McCarthy era Rogers, you know, what I believe both of them? I think they had some issues. I think that that's not surprising to your point though, if they win we're not talking about anything floors. We're talking about a much different story line from from Green Bay. You just you need to hope that meant leflore doesn't get caught up into the this where he's asked about times that he has to deal with this. I'm hoping that he and Rodgers can just go and go play the word on the street is that the Packers brass was very impressed with the the new coach Mettler leflore so much. So that they can shut down. Some other interviews. That's the hot thing in the NFL, the young young head coaches, hopefully, he has some of the same success and some of the other ones have had, but this is not going away. This this dynamic that's happening. Green bay. We have a new coach we still the same quarterback. We'll see what happens with that story. And number four the four ten is going to be about television. I saw this great report study variety and the mobile phone provider, and they looked at states that watched a lot of TV, and I'm gonna have Jordan jump on the Mike here for a little bit. So let me just give you some of the information. And I love TV right in the wintertime in the summer. I'm out have a big garden. I'm outside almost all the time doing landscaping or whatever. Whatever work most of us do in the summer, but are going to festivals or.

"Next Jane in Sharon, gene. Jane, welcome. You're on you're on the ringcentral nightside. Call a line. Jane talking about a pretty serious ads subject. Well, I wanna say I that I think it's a horrendous situation. And I'm very sorry for that woman family. And I want to briefly mentioned that I don't understand what a man actually get out of taking a woman, and then killing her if you know this day and age most people are caught and it's like is that really worth it. But that's not the big thing. I want to say I listen to not often. But when I can I do, and I love the things you say, but I take I have a little problem with one thing that you said tonight that was that women get taken by no fault of their own and anybody who is out drinking, and who may be a little bit intoxicated has done that to themselves. So that's the first thing. You can't be as vigilant women shouldn't have to be. But that's the times that we are living in and. And if someone is going out drinking is doing anything that might be impairing their faculties, then there should be some ownership of that. Jane, let me respond if I could there's a concept in and civil law, call comparative negligence, so if someone who let's see gets injured in an accident if they have contributed in some way to that accident, you you might say well the thirty percent at fall to their twenty percent at fault. Women have a right. And you know, this, and I know this women have a right to go out and enjoy themselves. Just like men do and. And there's all sorts of things we can talk about. And certainly, I agree to some extent that you have to make sure that you you drink when you're out publicly in a way in which you can handle it and even one drink will in some way, slow down your reaction. But there are a lot of other things make sure that if you are going to have a drink at a bar you had that drink in your hand or in your line of vision. So no one puts something in that drink. And that's exactly what I wanted to say. There is a responsibility that the individual hats. We. This day and age people don't take responsibility for themselves. The same time chain if we follow what you're saying too. It's a illogical ultimately logical conclusion that would mean that women would have to stay home and never go out. And if they do go out never have a drink to enjoy that never, relax. I'm met at all. My my comment is really that. If a person's going to go out and drink that's fine, go out and drink, but make sure that you stay with a friend. Stay with somebody else. On your own good. I also kind of feel that what the last caller Brian said, I very much agree with most of what was said during that conversation. And I don't know if some of it's a generational thing. Because you know, I'm in the same generation is he is. But I think women should have the opportunity more easily accessible to learn self defense as well as just being more aware the previous few previous callers who said that she noticed someone watching her once she got off the train. Absolutely. He was aware in house to do. And I think it's a horrendous thing that we have to be vigilant, but we do, and I even be skeptical about men coming to my assistance. If I don't know who they are. Because Jay janey of open up a whole bunch of issues. I wanna get people to respond to the issues. If you're if you're in distress, you you you look for help from wherever it comes from. I would I'm sure that Jane thank you so much for your call. All great point six one seven two five four ten thirty triple eight nine thousand nine hundred thirty Gloria is in Gloucester. Hi, gloria. How are you? Hi, dan. I wanna say my heart is pounding for these parents. I'm putting myself in their position. But this is not a simple case of sexual urges. This is admirable behavior. I just would like to know why these men have to go ahead and murder the women. No. You know, you mentioned what kind of profession this man within. There was a man from Connecticut. Michael Ross he was up a mass murder, and he was in the same profession. He was in computers. He's a bright, man. Good. Looking man. Everybody said the same thing about him that they said about this guy. I don't know if if you're as old as I am, but one of my listeners just emailed me. And it's the headline is thinking about kitty Genevieve kitty Genevieve from New York from New York woman in the mid nineteen sixties. I knew what year it was. I think it was nineteen sixty five. She was raped and murdered in the courtyard of an apartment building. And she was screaming for help. No one even called nine one. Yeah. When the investigation occurred, they were probably I don't know. Whether it was two dozen people who had heard her screen who had heard her screams and her distress night. So maybe they could not here. But no one went out to sell to save it. No one else to investigate. No one even called nine one one. How about that? My my emailer. Who I know very well rights alas have we have we progressed as a society since Kinney Genevieve's. I really can't say well. As far as helping a woman on a train. A man doesn't have to approach someone and be aggressive. He can say, hey, you know. Say he's introduce himself as a neighbor, a friend. You know, hey, I saw the other day LA LA LA just start a conversation and to try to get her out of that situation. I mean, that's not gonna do anything that the guy who's been a move onto other women. Well, the train situation we're talking about. And I think it was married to describe that. If I'm not mistaken, and she's there this guy has focused on her yelling at her deleted and a bunch of guys in the train. All look the other way we second. How was that all about? You know, I don't think men are trained to assist her. We're told if you see something say something, I think to add to it. If you see something maybe do something what you say. You don't have to punch the guy in the face. Just tell a story. One day in college at school three or four if there's three or four guys, I contacted you say boys, let's go. Everybody gets up confronts the guy and do what you gotta do is look it happens. All the time. You read the story in the airplane some guy acts up on an airplane at five guys jump up and they to the floor. Well, you an airplane. You can do it in a train Gloria. I gotta run. Thank you so much talk to you soon. Let's go to Gary in Medford and Medford to Gary you're next on nightside of the ringcentral nightside. Call a line. Go ahead. Gary. Hey, how you doing? I'm doing fine. Great great. I always love topic. And the people you have on your show. Your audience. This talk real quick. I was really so sad to hear what happened to Jesse Societa. I saw on the news this morning. She was listen to picture that there that I've been looking for van all day long. That's similar to it than the ones. I did. I looked at the passenger that was women. I knew it was them. But I get real quick. 'cause something I heard you mention now a couple of times on hold. But I didn't hear what I dialed is. Yes, call nine one one. You never know what you're gonna do in a situation people then. And there was one time that I didn't and she was mounted in my testimony did convict the guy. What I asked the police what I could do. They said you could've called us because she did leave with the guy that murder. I did try to help her. The bar at left the bar. You mean? The bar was industry by TV garden. I did try to help him. You're a witness who then him should still dentists the next morning when I heard of a murder in the same vicinity, and I call the palm aside and. Okay. Yes. The dentist office because you took a shot to the teeth. I assume right. No, okay. I read. Guy. He hit his here raped like he had a gun under it at. I was making sure it's thinking pointed at me. But at the same time right was able to try and get the girl to come with me. What was the result? Let me ask you. What was the result of the trial conviction? Yes. Murder one murder two. I'm not sure because I didn't go to the trial. He confessed before where interest testimony I provided. Okay. Gary predates you call interest. I hate to Gary back him up on my break. So I gotta let you go. We'll catch you catch you next time. Thanks, pal. Appreciate a six one seven two five four ten thirty. Triple eight nine thousand nine ten thirty nine twenty eight time for.

"Gunshots. Two days ago killed Milwaukee. Police officer Matthew winner for the third time in eight months. The Milwaukee police department is mourning the loss of one of its own in the line of duty. George Papa Christie was the Milwaukee police departments chaplain. He joins us on WTMJ. Good morning, sir. Good morning, gene. How are you? We're okay. How's hose the department doing her the people you were talking to doing while as you can imagine, gene? Just like everyone else in the city throughout the country for that matter. I'm devastated. Trying to understand. What's happened just feeling sorrow and heard things I would imagine that there's some anger as well. You know, Jane inevitable anytime, there's a loss of life to unexpected tragedy. What we try and tell officers is to to not dwell in that anger. To call anybody that screaming to not dwell an anger but to release that. So that you can have some healing. Because then you're a prisoner to that anger, and it is not healthy. We are live with Milwaukee police department chaplain. George Papa Kristo and WTMJ. Have you had any occasion with the officers family at all? Gene, we have been what the officers family since this tragedy unfolded myself as along with two liaison officers have been with them every step of the way nonstop supporting them in every way, we can from a department rules and regulations all the things that have to be done in a situation like this FM, a spiritual and from pure support standpoint as well. And there are other support services. Also available to aren't there, George? Yes, walkie police department is is very far ahead of the curve compared to other departments. We have a fantastic wellness team. We like to say there's a three legged stool that keeps on anybody. But in particular police officers on balance on one leg is mental health second-leg is pure support in that third leg is the faith support. So we can offer all three of these. We have a fantastic peer support system. We have in health psychologists, and we also have Chaplaincy program. So we're way ahead of the curve compared to other departments. We are live with Milwaukee. Police department chaplain. George Papa Kristo WTMJ. This is the third such incident in eight months. I would imagine the officers you're talking to or not only morning this most recent death. But also the fact that now that this is becoming so frequent of late. It's it's gotta be just rattling these these men and women to the core of their souls. There's no doubt about that. It been difficult to try and get our people to heal. Obviously three tragic deficit with eight months. We got mad at time to heal from the first loss of Charles Irvine, like a wound that continually becomes opened up. So it's been very very difficult to get our people back on track. But we're doing everything in our power chief Alice's made it very clear that also wellness is a priority on the apartment has endorsed added embraced it. And we're doing everything we can for our folks, I would hope that you were encouraged by what you're seeing in terms of reaction from folks in the streets of Milwaukee throughout the community. In fact, throughout the state is this tragedy unfolds. It's it's becoming all too sadly familiar, but I would hope that you are encouraged by what you're seeing. Oh, there's no question about gene, our officers see that support as they're standing on a corner blocking an intersection for the procession the countless called that are coming in people stopping in to say, Hello. Stopping an officer on the street. It's been increased since our first step in continuing which has been very encouraging. But obviously that miss of this tragedy. The outpouring has been fantastic. And we really thought yesterday with that procession out of the funeral home the procession to the medical examiner's office. Just tremendous outpouring of support that keeps guys going church. "I'm I sort of I have to fight the spouse and clean up the mess of the spouse all the time. Is there any way to attract a not Hatcher Hatcher box? What size hole does that have. It's supposed to be legitimate. Not Hatcher side hope. Yeah. Not not hatches are of the chickadee. Tufted tit mice eastern Bluebirds. Carolina. Wrens those are the birds that are little more challenging to get to come to a box. Now, they are they are kind of timid. I'm not sure if you have red breasted, not hatches in your ear, most are white precedent, which are a little larger. I have one red breasted not hats. And then I have a couple of white breasted not Hatcher. The regulars are cute. Little guys, aren't they? Lovely. I didn't know what it was at first. And then I happen by one of the pull it up, and oh, he's just. It just so tiny and and precious. Yeah. I I always say that east English sparrows are the biggest problem in the yards. And how do you keep those away? Well, first off don't put out any inexpensive bird food in your feeders. Most inexpensive bird foods have something called Milo, which is like a red BB. There's on one bird that can grind. Don't use it. That's that's the first thing for second. The second thing is on your Bluebird boxes. You know, the shape of a mailbox post in a mailbox has a post, and you have an arm coming after the mailboxes sit on correct, you can take a paint paddle or a couple of pain paddles, or you can take a piece of wire coathanger, and you can fasten that to the back of your nesting boxes, and then have the arm come over go to the dollar store somewhere and buy some Mylar balloons, and if you have the ability to cut those in one in strips and hang those on over so that they hang over the top of the box. That's where the English sparrows tend to sit when they land, and they'll sit there and guard with their life those boxes and won't let blue birds even aggressive male Bluebirds on there. English sparrows hate those Mylar balloons. Bluebirds don't mind them at all no other bird minds those except spare English payers because I think. Mylar balloon and cut it into strip. You the whole. Yeah. You know, you put the wire or whatever the paddle on the back of the nesting box. Have it come up in forward over the top almost like a clothesline? And then just hang those down near six inch strips foreign strips or whatever so that they're about a half an inch from the top of the box. And I'm not sure if it's because maybe English sparrows because they forage on such garbage. If you look at their nests actually have pieces of Mylar in there. They just know that that stuff is not good. They may have eaten it or they may have had their mouth, and they had the metallic taste. But that is a deterrent can make a roof pardon. To make a roof. Now, just like a little closed on take a coat hanger bended at a ninety degree angle. Put some of those on air fascinated to the back of the box with a staple gun, or whatever you have to do that with okay? The Mylar hang over the front. Not over the front over the top of the box. Not over the hall. Just over the top. Yeah. Yeah. Sorry making a shiny roof. Kinda. Okay. But you don't want it laying on the roof though. Okay. I gotcha. Hanging above the bird. Feeder above it. Dot com. Okay. Okay. I got it. All right. Thank you very much. Have a good day day to let me mention a friend of mine, and that's David clap and burger the painter. If you wanna have indoor painting. Then let's go to housing. Good morning. An morning Allen. Good morning. Good morning on. I have a friend who lives in Rosedale. I think she lives in a townhouse community. I'm not positive, but I think so and she has been trying for years to get hunting birds to come to her yard, and she just never gets them. And I wondered if there's any hint. I'm not sure what area she's into the extent that maybe her backyard doesn't seem visually accessible to the birds one of the things that she can do is buy if she does she have a little bit of a yard. I guess so I I'm not sure I've never been to our house. Okay. Well, if she can plant if she can buy a tropical hibiscus tropical hibiscus in the red color, and if she can put that out there that obviously is going to attract the hummingbirds, and she also she wanted to plan in a big pot. She's limited for space. She can plant red salvia at the base of the where the. Tropical. Hibiscus goes in to the pot. Those two combinations really tend to draw and then she's gonna put feeders out the more red decorations or ornaments. She has around the area is going to also draw them to her house like a magnet if they're out there and around which they are. And we only have ruby throated hummingbirds in our area, the one they see all that red. That's going to be the sign that there's a friendly environment for them. Okay. So tropical hibiscus tree, not the Bush. Yeah, they come in little stems fifteen dollars. It's not real expensive. But they have they have red blue red Salvi is another one. Do you have any thoughts? She's in the shade. I had done really well with red impatience. Okay. I think birds like that. And I think they they like the plants better than the hummingbird feeders. Whatever by the way, salvia black and blue which isn't read really attracts helping all the Salvi is I have a lot of nectar this black and blues my favorite too. Yeah. Soviet Black and blue. Yes. Now, that's one you're gonna find. If she's in a place where it's relatively mild. That'll come up that will make it through the winner. Bring it in the house and in Carolina. No, black and blue are you talking colors. No, that's the name of the plant salvia. It's dark purple dark. Perfect dark purple navy blue beautiful country. Very good plan. Okay. Okay. Well, thank you guys. Take home. Thanks for calling. All right. Let's go next to our this. When after move a little faster. It's over here. Almost hit around. What morning, Dave? I'm starting to go back and documenting what some lawmakers have said in the past about the border, and then highlighting the difference in what they're saying. Now, I'm gonna play some audio from the president Donald J Trump Dianne Feinstein, the Senator from California had a much different take on immigration and illegal aliens a few years back and just a general take on where that story line is going as we now tie the record for the longest shutdown in government history today, twenty one days any signs of ending doesn't seem like it. And the president has dug in Senator Chuck Schumer has dug in speaker of the house Nancy Pelosi as well, we will see what happens, but now twenty one days into that shut down after the break a little bit of the Packers brand new head coach Matt leflore, Steve.
