"I realize that for a while that I'm getting older but I never thought I was really old until last week I'll tell you why next on dance like a great radio show may sound like it's easy to make but if you ever tried to you know that's not the case with the time spent engineering producing and archiving you end up losing focus on what really matters the content of your show if you put your show on the gap radio network will be able to leave all those technical worries to our staff of highly trained engineers and producers and all you need to do is have fun and put on a great show want to find out more send an email over to sales at gab radio network dot com that's sales at Gaviria DO network dot com last week we decided to see what we hadn't seen in our own town the Chicago history museum was free to residents so Hey let's head down there it's a good stop if you're visiting here as we got to the innovations wing of Chicago history beyond the Frank Lloyd Wright exhibits the Schwinn story the iron works meat packing their behind plexiglass was the reminder that I've reached likely the mid point of my life it was the two thousand and five residential and business telephone listings for Chicago and the greater area my son to me dad that's a phone book that's what they look like it's huge well yeah son be because that's really a phone book and it was pretty much every number in the area so that's how you knew who to call yes it was it's also what you used to come home to on your front porch and they came out least once a year maybe twice and you inexplicably had an entire cabinet or closet full of them that you can't for a decade or more for no good reason and it's what you used as a booster seat when you were a child so yeah those days are gone an entire industry of people charged with updating numbers with making corrections with heaving them on front porches but such is life things change now the phone book is.

"So that was my my stock crazy thing without though is that you podium in them racing. If you look at the toll now looking back on Oviously, look at it in the future, but Gaviria hippie in every day every day, but most of the day soggy everyday in the sprints and those guys consistently want to in the Torah every day. Once you're for, you know, five everyday from system in looking surely that teams are looking into that. Yeah. He's flying. And this is still quiet. It's not miles out base far when do something in the tollway can still build on what you've already came as you said, you him straight down from Allah chewed into this. You're not going to be fresh from a comfortable one. So it's quite. I'm disappointed now. And I'm not even any team. Yeah. So like I off to California's pretty happy with like where I was at my first race back off three months of not racing and from an altitude camp. So then my second one was savannah, which those two sprints at the start. And I think I was informed to to win a sprints. The first age was sprint and the second sages sprint the first stage. I crashed at a case ago. So obviously, I couldn't win that scream is II crashed the case. And when you crash like potted high-speed like going sixty now, and I crash so a decent full. You got up. The next thing you not feeling one hundred percent. My everything sore and like hit the ground sixty now, obviously, not feeling great. The second day. I crashed again on one of the scents going around having crash like thirty ago. I was just really like. I Don I just a sore, and I was angry. Anyway, that stage I still I got the. So it wasn't too bad. I finished that tour went home and I'll sign prepare again. And my coach was flying from `szralia three my loss preparation for the tour and actually as he landed and like turned on his phone than it was like an ounce. So you turned on his phone too. Messages or whatever saying that. I wasn't doing. So he traveled all the way from Australia. The Team New he was coming from a stray Leah I sets them like you knew my coaches coming. Why didn't you say something before? So like save him coming all the way from your became these daughters. Well, it's like the both traveled all the way from Australia and the all year, we just decided to. Bouch it you didn't just decide today. Because one of the other coaches of the tame offs me if my coach was still coming over like a couple of days before and I said, yeah, he's still coming. So they they knew to be honest. I had a meeting with some of the stuff in savannah. And I I I kinda got like. A bad vibe from it. They started talking about they didn't say to me going there. They're really emphasizing how Adams going, and blah, blah, blah. And he was he was going good. You wanna stage in dolphin so? Yeah, he he was going really good. And they really were talking about how this is. Like, why are you telling me like how good he's going to be honest when they actually said to me that I wasn't doing it. I was a little bit prepared for it. Because that would just acting weird like they usually really positive with me. And then now they're trying to bring up play house meeting within that bring up postures all you haven't won for a while. So it's kinda like that. Have in hindsight. I reckon it made them lined up much area. And I think they could have given at least my coach the courtesy of saying coming showing really perpetrated soccer in the world is up quite a lot. But you don't really hear about in such a scenario like not, really? But yeah, would have probably been like twentieth stage in Slovenia, I'm not gonna I'm not a day role than on still decent getting. But then not really doing much to really. Yeah. Anyway, moving on from those days looking to the future..

"Tour de france that's just think that cannot be a team car cannot be a mini cooper while you think you'd wanna taller car if you're going to try to pace back so there's a few variables that came up one one is yeah where am i going at this so there the officials for the first time this year of the first time ever this year can use video to make it a termination on a penalty that's a new rule resident but judges them whereas the video of jacob google song right so that's a variable but then also does does dumoulin does dumoulin and his team make a decision go i'm behind a minute i can pay back in and take a twenty second penalty or lose a minute take the car he loses a lot more right second so net net if we're going to ply the rules evenly and that's the rule and that's your your your the decision you're going to have to make you absolutely do you make that and that's a mention how much easier it is so a you're going to lose more time than twenty seconds and be is going to be a hell of a lot harder for the next day the next day and the next day so but but but the but but is i disagree that's they've done that in cycling forever we're talking about one of the favorites later on this race you're gonna have these these as we call them in the day bene can these pancakes these wencke riders that are going to be in the back that are gonna do that all day long then get penalized because they're not on tv so historically one of the beauties of cycling in in the grand tours there's kind of these gentlemen agreements right and if somebody is off the back by no fault of their own they historically would look the other way am i am i describing that correctly and so now they're thrown down penalties yep i don't know is that an effort to make it more exciting listen i can't i cannot explain slash justified decisions made with the uci with the tour it's just it's like throwing darts okay that's just and we have to we have to know that and get used to that and it's just that'll continue to happen that there's it's just an inconsistent playing field and a lot of okay now we can talk about today's stage which was the longest one hundred forty three miles two hundred thirty one commodores really kind of pretty boring and slow the guys were you know i i i knew i had a sense that it was going to be a boring day so i'd alarm even later today and i got up and they still had fifty miles to go they were twenty minutes behind the slowest projected time which is clearly indicates that they were just chilling in there wasn't the other thing i expected to wake up and see is your usual break of five or six guys with fifty to go you know ninety miles into the race there's still no breakaway there was one effort to split it up we saw it break up to three different groups that came back together pretty quick that was that was then yeah it was pretty uneventful was short live ninety percent fishing yeah but look i mean and i i have to eat a little i got i got a little egg on my face because we got asked the question about grown awaken early on in the in the first week about his chances to win one of the field sprints and i and i just flat out said ain't gonna happen and that he he was motoring today yeah he crossed when he crossed the finish line he was given it the you know the sh and that was just i know maybe was i don't know who's going to but i was like okay i'll show you got me there not only did he wasn't like he got lucky i mean that was a that was a power sprint slightly uphill he was i didn't even catch that like right after the finish line these like like i don't know who's talking to them i'm taking like he was talking to me and so you know what green path i'm gonna i'm gonna shut the hell up i.

"Israel's have tried to crack down on ms thirteen but their efforts often misfire as producer marcella gaviria explains in tonight's episode of frontline which focuses on ms thirteen and long island when they recruit young kids to become part of the gang you've got actually committed murder and often it happens on the 13th of the month today bean february 13th law enforcement officials would be on high alert one of the most shocking episodes you recount in the dog dates from september 2016 two teenage girls kayla cuevas sinisa mickens were murdered but i mean murder doesn't really begin to suggest the brutality of that crime dozen no not at all it it is pretty insane what they've done an and actually the murder of gaelic leila's and nisam mickens is the one that registers with everybody because of course in the state of the union address president trump invited the parents had these two girls but most of the victims are actually immigrant families and less publicized episodes of violence where for instance in april for young teenagers were killed in the same fashion by allegedly ms thirteen members so the department of homeland security launched a major operation targeting ms thirteen last summer tell us about that they called it operation matter door and matadoura was used because the bull's horn is a favorite sort of logo of ms thirteen what i stood was they ended up pardoning with local police on long island they went after four hundred people the story we tell in the gang crackdown israeli how a community really panic they were so overwhelmed by the number of kids that were in their schools that were kind of at recruitment age for ms thirteen inside the schools so venue told the story of one of these kids who is suspected.
