California Recall Hinges on Democrats Turning Against Gavin Newsom

"California recall is going to hinge on democrats who vote against gavin newsom. There aren't enough republicans to pull it off. I don't think but if enough democrats are disgusted with the antics of the of the crazies and the vile left and this racist woman for example and the failure for from gavin news or anybody to denounce it larry wins. It's gonna it's gonna come down to democrats having to do the right thing in california. And i hate that but you know what that's what's going that's what it's gonna tank and it could. It could happen. It could absolutely happen there. Another miracle could happen. It would be a trump twenty sixteen type of miracle for gavin newsom to get recalled. Larry elder become the next governor.

"Todd and don show where we're Number one in calling out their number two Got something to say? Join the conversation at 51283605 90. Now here are taught and done. No, man, I got so many things we got so many things to get to this hour. I mean, it's going by quickly jump in at 51283605. Now let me run through the list here. You got the Pecan Street festival that was cancelled by the city of Boston because of covid concerns. That's what we hear. That's what they tell us. I think the reality is is we don't have enough police officers to provide security. We had a texture that floated that notion, and that makes a lot of sense. Now. They asked the public health in the mayor, they're growing concerned about a shortage of beds to deal with covid patients. The reality is it's not a bad shortage. It's a nurse shortage. So we're kind of getting Ah, We're kind of getting we're kind of getting a, uh, a tainted truth on both of those fronts and a common from the city. Yeah, it's a common theme, all coming from the city. You can jump in at 51283605 90 the governor has signed into law. SB one. That's the election integrity bill that is now a national trend a national standard to follow across this country, and people are upset about that. But I also wanted to throw something out there. And it has to do with the heartbeat bill That is now law in the state of Texas, considered some of the most restricted when it comes to, uh, abortion access in Texas, which has been radioactive not only in Social media, but the mainstream media. New York Times Washington Post Something Texas is on the radar screen. Big time. I want to hear from some women out there. I really do. Do you feel as if your constitutional rights are being eroded? Do you support this legislation? Women? 51283605 90. Do you feel that your constitutional rights are being ripped away? And when does life begin? I just want to throw that out there for you. That's a personal question for you out there. Listeners at 51283605 90. This story is not going to go away. Todd. It's going to be out there for for many months, and then the Supreme Court, we know was taken up that case in Mississippi. That has to do with, you know, 15 weeks instead of six weeks like we got here in Texas, and their decision will come down in. What would that be The summer of 2022. They will hear at this fall, And then they'll decision comes down in June the following year, just in time for 2022 elections and governor Greg Abbott signing the legislation. He took some questions yesterday about the fetal heartbeat Bill. And he got into this ran about? Well, we're going to eliminate rape in the state of Texas. Yeah. He should have shut up there, man. Yeah, he got off on the weeds big time on that one. I'm not sure how you can eliminate rapes in the state of Texas. When you don't have a very good history. Of processing rape kits at police headquarters. Multiple police headquarters in this state and you've got D A s across the state. It really don't do enough to prosecute these kinds of cases. And you got not sure how a governor could be, you know, stand that firm on on the issue. You got the sense as you're watching it. He almost knew he stepped in it. He did, And then he just kept going. Yeah. Listen. The State Department emails showed that the Biden administration is blocking the departure of rescue flights from Afghanistan. Six charter planes have been waiting for days. Take American citizens in Afghan allies to safety, But the State Department says it has to check the background of every person on the flight list before clearing for any departures. Republican Congressman Jim Jordan He's pretty upset. You don't leave Americans behind. This is the greatest nation in history. That is just not something this great country does, and when they come home for there for the ceremony at Dover, you don't check your watch umpteen times while families are standing there receiving their loved one's remains. You don't do that. You don't go vacation in Delaware. You don't go campaign for Gavin News. Some next week. You focus on the fact that there are still Americans left behind in Afghanistan, and that should be the number one focus of this administration. So no wonder. No wonder the president got heckled by people.

GameStop mania explained: How the Reddit retail trading crowd ran over Wall Street pros

"This game Stop. It might be a really scary trend. And people might lose a lot of money here, huh? Here's what it is. It's much more complicated in this. But right now, basically what games stop shared the trading on Wall Street and some other stocks to has nothing to do with the companies. It is a war. It's a war between Main Street retail investors against Wall Street fat cat hedge funds and through things like Read it. Now enough, retail investors have been able to gather together and create a force that they could put the screws to these hedge funds, which have been shorting stocks. And make the fat cats pay. That's really what it's about These red it, folks. It had a bit more complicated Start which I won't but what it is right now. And a O. C by the way, and Elizabeth Warren are now backing them, along with the long bus, which is just makes my mind go nuts. They're basically saying, you fat cat Hedge funds on Wall Street have made so much money with your back room meetings where you're gonna short cos I won't explain how that all works. But basically you're betting on companies to fail so that you could make money. We're going to get together and we're gonna buy, buy buy, And as the share price goes up, you lose. Potentially billions of dollars. Huh? Huh? Huh? But he's not. I mean, not shorting but didn't like Romney do something like that, where him and his company would take over companies and they would borrow or spend off of their credit and then bankrupt the company, the company I don't know if Romney did it, but certainly that has been in the past What these hedge funds have done, and this is perfectly legal. They take a short position they without explaining how you're short a stock. They're basically betting that a company is not going to go well do well and that a stock price world will fall. But Elon Musk has been doing battle with the short sellers on Tesla for years, and by the way, they have lost their shirts. Yeah, He's the test list. Stocks insane, and he's been taunting them all the way up. And so now these these, it's like one of our anchors described it as occupy Wall Street. Not with money. Well, that's interesting. But Jane, don't the people that bought you know all the people on Reddit and all the you know the day traders. They don't have a ton of money. Maybe they have, like, you know, 10 $15,000 in the market, whatever. And they bought a lot of you know these stocks that are being shorted like Gamestop Gamestop today, don't they have A real You know, horrible chance of losing money because that stock is gonna go down. Yes. So look, Um, but that's all of them. It's free market. You have smart people who are getting in and out of her mouth. Paula, Half a Tia, who wants to run for governor of California was one of these who jumped in and said, Yeah, he's a Silicon Valley guy was part of the Gavin news on buying. I'm buying Well, then he comes on our air today and says, You have already got rid of my position. So he made a killing. But this, you know somebody who's maybe not sophisticated and that's all right. You know, It's your right. If you want to go out and lose your money you're now you bought it at you know, 3 50 or whatever, By the way, game stop is now after hours down 2 to 92. So it's given starting to the sell off is beginning whether you know people buy on the dips. Tomorrow it goes back up. We don't know. Same with AMC Entertainment, the theater industry Here's a funny thing, Tim. These people are trying to stick it to the man by by making these guys who are short squeezing them so that they lose so much money. They gotta cover their shorts. They gotta buy stock. All this craziness driving the stock price higher. Who's really benefiting from this? The man's man be really, really rich people who say they're not short of this doctor. Here's a perfect example. Tootsie Roll. Role has become one of these Reddit chat room. Let's buy it took to roll cause these hedge funds have a short position on it, you know, is benefiting the 88 year old matriarch, this woman Who is like what? The stock's done nothing for 20 years, and now it's up 50%. I'm worth $200 million more than I was a week ago. She's benefiting not your job blow on Main Street, right? But there was again. Jane Wells is with us. There was a there was a guy in Florida. Alone $72 million where the game stop. And you know this morning or yesterday when he woke up. He was worth $72 million, and today's were $3.5 billion Man, I sure hope he

"What you come join us. We have live. That's right. There you go. John, who we have to have with us. Who? Huh? Who? Hey. Mike Love from the beach boys. James James Hirsen should come down and play. Have you heard James Hirsen play yet? Well, sir sir, there's an attorney not lies. An author. He's a lot, professor. He was. He was a keyboard player of the Temptations if you follow him on Facebook You can hear James. What do you performance a week on there now? Because I look forward to your stuff on there now. Oh, thank you. No, no, I just try to match it up with the articles. I'm writing. I stick up a little piece up. Just something from my heart. I miss playing lives, You know, living here and hotel California? Yeah, exactly. Yak out that you can never leave. By the way. Can I ask you this just off topic off the office of the national scene. Many of you our viewers and listeners out that we broadcast out of San Diego, California. James lives up in the L A area. I mean, we're in California. You might be watching us. You know, Tennessee of New York or listening to us in New Jersey. Here in California. We are a failed republic, and there should be a moat around us. Can I ask you is because of what's gone on because there's this many blue businesses closed at the hand of Gavin Newsom, a czar are red businesses. Do you feel like this is going to be another gray Davis moment here and others. Gray Davis was the other gender that was recalled several years ago. Well, it is in terms of you know what there's over a million signatures on the recall petition, let alone 1.1 transcends political parties, however. There's one major issue that is the most important issue in America's most important issue in California border integrity, right, so if we could have a real recall election Then I do think it's possible depends on who, Of course, the opposing candidate starts You mentioned Gray Davis. Of course, we had the celebrity power marbles, Schwarzenegger to propel him write that Victory. I don't know if there's somebody you know, maybe Chachi. Maybe Antonio's Sabado Junior. No, he's left the state. There's anybody here that's left Rob Schneider's gone. S so you know, I don't know if we have a celebrity. But if we have a good articular candidate, I think there's a awful lot of passion. Yeah, you're and you could see it. Go to South Orange County. You go to San Diego County when you see a lot of defiant Small businesses. Gavin News I could see the eye could see the ad coming out now saying, Make sure you turn in all of your ballots. See, it's funny, and it's tragic at the same time. Okay, so teams here's my question for you with respect to the what's going on with Twitter. And parlor and Facebook and YouTube with Donald Trump. You know there are international figures like like Angela Merkel from Germany, saying You guys don't want to be doing that. And, of course, the prime minister of Australia said the same thing you like him or hate him. And of course, the events of last week were unconscionable. You know, looking, I'm no legal scholar. I don't. I don't. I don't think there was incitement. You know legally I think he probably couldn't choose chose his words better. I think there was I do think is complicity. Some. I'm not sure that he meant to have people stormed the capital. Aside from all that the big issue here is censorship in the United States are your lot, professor. You're gonna have to handle this stuff with your students here. Somebody make you go to class again here for a second. Isn't this a super dangerous time Number one and number two. Isn't this gonna fall back hard on the tech companies at the end of the day? At the end of the day. I agree with you. I think it will fall back hard is a dangerous time. And they you know, to use the cliche. They jumped the shark. The jump. The shark moment came from Amazon. Because on the heels of Google and Apple, removing this app parlor from their stores, Amazon kicked them off of the cloud server. Now there, there is a level of censorship. We have never seen They deep platform this company and it appears as though these tech companies conspired together. To harm our competitors way We all know what that's called. That's called a violation of the Sherman Act. Anti Trust that's unfair business practices. That's a breach of contract and they filed a lawsuit. Now the lawsuit may lead to other problems for believe it or not, for Jeff based doses. Mamma's, So That was a by the way that is a terrible business decision. I don't know. I'm rich executives made that decision. But clearly that was not part of the room. And I think a lot of this banning that's going on like this Cos stripe. Like we just heard Curt Schilling. The from from from the I mean bloody socks? Yeah. Kurt Schilling. He has. He has said that his insurance was canceled. Over his social media profile and his political positions that this kind of stuff is unacceptable UN American and shouldn't be happening. So s so if there is any legal recourse, James, that I get that I think that ridge there is I mean, a lot of people say, Well, there can't be because the judiciary is corrupted. Yeah, I do think we're in danger of the Supreme Court being corrupted, becoming a rubber stamp. But at the local levels there, there are there literally. Hundreds of new judges that were appointed over the last four years, and the courts still had a degree of integrity. As long as we just stay away from that. Dwyane judge who seems to want to determine US policy, But I think there will be a lot of legal recourse for these where they overplayed their hands where the tech companies have overplayed their hands. It's a debate on, for example, the Twitter keeping up the Ayatollah comedian creeping up the president of Iran, uh, keeping up.

"W B A P On the Thursday Morning news. It's New Year's Eve. The final day of 2020. Scott said, way here in for Hal J. And Brian s trade. We've got stupid joke on board. Along with Joseph Height. Hello again. Kim Lampkin is in the news room. We've been hearing over the last few days about this new strand of Cove. It First we heard about it in England. And how apparently it was spreading a lot quicker than the original strain of Cove in 19. Then we started to see it in other parts of the world, Then Colorado reported they had a case of now. California health officials Saying they've got their first case of this new strain of covert 19. 30 year old man out of San Diego's one who had it What? I don't understand about this conversation, Steuby and why we're talking about this new strain. Is it's a lot of people are making a big deal out of it. But if you look at what the scientists are telling us, it doesn't make the vaccine less effective. The vaccine's still works on it as we're starting to distribute the vaccine. It doesn't get hidden with the new test, so the old tests still die Confined. You know this strain of it, You know, it's done like get away from the testing. That's good. Number two, right? And in the UK they've already discovered that people who had previous strains of covert 19 they don't get re infected with this new one. So they anybody's work against the second strength from what they know now. Yes. So good number three. Right? So you're hearing a lot of conversation about this new strain, And to me it's just not that big of a deal other than the fact that it kind of re confirms what we've been told about this virus for a while and that it's very similar to the flu. And that it might. It might be a thing where you have to get several vaccines. But if this vaccine kills the strain or prevents the strain Mm. Maybe it's not as bad meet the meet the new strange, same as the old string, right? Yeah, So if you start seeing this narrative, I don't think it's a big cause for concern. At least not yet. From what we know with a Zafar is what scientists are telling us now. Speaking of California, when that's where it is now, Gavin Newsom, we've told you about the recall shots of people trying to recall him. Get him out of office. Well, a private consulting firm in California. Dave started put their money where their mouth is $500,000 from an Irvine based consulting firm called Prov 39 LLC, contributed $500,000. To a fund to try to get Gavin Newsom taken out of office. That half a million do it I well, I think they're they're still collecting money from other places. There's a bank there, whose CEO donated 100,000. On top of that. It's almost like the Dave Portnoy Bar Stool fund. You know where where he put this? This company puts up $500,000 and says, Hey, everyone else helped contribute and then people start contributing. Except it's Ah, yeah, it's like, go fund me, right? Exactly. Um, now, I I don't know what it takes. But, you know, there's been several recall attempts on California Governor's over the years and on Lee, one of them ever worked. That was it was a 1 4003. I think it's 2003 a gray Davis. Was recalled and then lost in a special election to the Governator. Ember that who was? Yeah, dude who was who has been a good California governor was Jerry Brown. Good for the state. I know he's he's still hike the taxes up, but I couldn't tell you. Honestly, I'm I'm not too high up on California politics. I know Guardo. Schwarzenegger wasn't very popular. When he was governor. Um, Gavin News. I think Gavin Newsom might take the cake, though. In terms of lack of popularity because he's losing popularity all across the board. It's just not. It's not just one side of the aisle. I mean, everybody wants him gone. So Again. I don't know what financially will make it happen if there needs to be a certain number, but a company putting $500,000 to get rid of a governor. I mean, that that tells you a lot $500,000 even to a billionaire's and jump change. That's that's a lot of money. Just put out just to make a political change so well, they better kind of hurry up because he's up for reelection in 2022, right? Dryers. Yeah. If you want to make a change, do it quick, too, Because you know, the whole reason you're wanting him out is because of his covert shut down stuff. And you know, in six months, everyone might have a vaccine and it might be a moot point. So it's 6 51, WB AP All right If your New year's resolution is to exercise mortar lose weight gotta study for you. That's gonna make your life a whole lot easier. That's next. But first traffic here's Dave Allen Highway closures in downtown Dallas North bound 75 just after lie broken accident, blocking all of the main lanes. "Gonna be in interesting day. I'm looking forward to it. Make big Result. Um Up incoming recall of Gavin Newsom. I'm saying that with optimism because I think it's a least gonna make it to the ballot. This would have never ever happened had not this recall gained all of the notoriety in the state of California popularity with the idea of getting rid of this thing. Getting it. And also the national published E. It's getting which is very, very bad. But because of the pressure, Gavin Newsom is going to reopen the schools. Yep. On, Believe me, take it to the bank. This would have you wouldn't have heard this if there were no recall effort. But he unveiled this today. I don't know if John and Christina talked about this or not. It's a plan to re open the schools for in person learning. In person learning almost a year to the day after he closed the damn things. Sometime in February or March. Can you believe that? And and and just looking at that, who would have ever thought But this is So neither it's needed to slow down the pandemic. Yes, I said, slow down, and I can explain why, but most of you become educated enough now to know why. It's needed to keep the kids from going crazy and and stunting their their their their their mental growth and abilities, you know, scholastically and or otherwise, because they're not getting the right in full treatment they need With one on one on one teaching. The governor is also proposing Adding an additional $2 billion in funding to support these schools. Reopening with, I guess kind of, Ah, a tilt a focus On bringing elementary school students back first as well. A students with disabilities and those in foster care and and some that are homeless it I'm told I think the only reason again. This is happening is because of the is because of the The recall against the governor. To quote him quote here somewhere as a parent of very young Children. In person instruction. There's just no substitute for it. Oh, you're figuring that out now? It's so much more difficult for a four year old to focus on, you know, a device than a 14 year old device being whatever you know you're staring at a computer screen. But, um There are still there are Things The counties have to go through to open the schools. There are goals they have to hit. If schools they're gonna reopen in the given county for in person learning The counties have to have fewer than 28 covert 19 cases per 100,000 residents. So that's probably gonna put us in the back end of the bus somewhere unless things clean up really nicely. Before. February in October. And according to a lot of data It's fairly recent released by the Public Health Department of State. There's only I think it was eight or nine large counties that have a seven day average of new cases below that threshold. Okay? So it's going to take some doing. And it's all part of a plan. Do I have the list? I think I do all that. We're looking at Alameda. Humboldt Marin. Napa. All Barry, of course, where he's from. San Francisco. Of course, San Luis Obispo San Matteo Santa Cruz Cinema. All right. Those are the counties that are going to be able to open immediately under this particular plan. By Gavin News. Now this This plan also has all kinds of other stuff. Get into if you're curious. Increased testing. California is gonna work toward testing all school staff and students. With, um The frequency of testing for the disease, depending by the county's three opening set of numbers. Reopening tear, I think is the term many years. What about having all of the necessary gear? What's the abbreviation for it? A PPE? All staff will be required to wear surgical maths. All students will be acquired. Where Mass in the classroom. There's an answer right there. You know the calming things down. Um, vaccinations. School staff are going to be prioritized as a part of a phase one b of the vaccination distribution in this state. Contact tracing Be state contract tracers. They're going to take a look at school's gonna monitor schools and they're gonna help coordinate with local health departments. So there are things That are going to be done all in support of getting everybody back in the school, Newsome said. The state wants to support all communities to be on track for safe in school instruction by early spring of 2021. Maybe optimistic, but I hope he's correct. He also gave updates he being the governor, the state's overall cove in 19 situation. And the number of Daily cases. He's starting to go in the other direction rather than up. It's going. "Warden, Gavin News him. Now, as I mentioned before Napa County were his business is his wineries remains open, including his business. Well, actually, that's not entirely true. PlumpJack Winery, which is owned by Warden Newsome closed down today because of logistical issues. So if you're looking for a place to go this weekend where you could do wine tasting Ward Newsome still has another business That's open. So I'm gonna give you their number in case you want to call and very politely make a reservation 7072247533 At 7072247533 Now I'm receiving many, many, many reports from so many of you saying that the number is busy, so apparently the wine is very good and everyone's very excited going toward Newsome's business that's allowed to remain open. For wine this weekend, so just keep trying. And maybe you'll be able to make a reservation. All right. We're joined by Dr Nan Hayworth. Or you could follow on Twitter at Nan Hayworth. And we're taking your calls at 800 to 22 K A. B. C 1 800 to 2 to 5 to 2 to let's begin with Jacob. Jacob. You're on K B. C. Hello. Yes. Hello. Good. Ah, good afternoon. Socratic found you're all today. I had a question for the doctor. I'm reading on Linus research they're doing at the University of Wisconsin. Where they're scientists there are affecting the cats on purpose with Cove in 19 and they're saying that the cat will spread it to another cat. They take the cat, and they put it in a cage. And that effective cat will get the cove at 19 from the other cat that they infect. And these federal grants are paying for this research at the University of Wisconsin, and I wanted to know everyday household pets like cats. Are they making up a Cupid, 19 from human and then another person picks up that cat pets on it gets the virus. And I'm curious to know I'm trying to get more information about that. I run a tracking website for covert 19 and essentially, we appreciate you responding to that on Twitter Corona virus outbreak map dot com. Oh, you know, senior your stuff, Jacob. I didn't realize you but You know, there have been scattered reports aside from what they're doing in the University of Wisconsin, and you know it as someone who has four cats, Children not happy to hear they're deliberately infecting cats. But I'd have to look into what exactly they're doing there because I not had a chance. But there have been scattered reports of feline ahh and even canine Ah, species contracting coded, Not as far as I know, of passing and then on to human beings, although we have to assume that might be the case. So what does that mean? Well, you know, if you have a family member with co bit, and you share a household list, beloved pets, you know, make sure that maybe they know they room in a separate place from each other while your family member is affected. 1st 2 weeks of the infections when we think people are most likely to pass it on, and you know it's just common sense. You know, if if it could be around your household, you know, maybe don't kiss your pets with you lift. But you know, and wash your hands before you touch your eyes face her mouth after petting your beloved animals, And, you know, I don't think it's a major source right now, Jacob, Um, you know, but it's something obviously, for all of us to keep on on the radar screen. Thank you. So much for the call. I'm getting updates from listeners who are trying to make reservations to go to Warden Newsome's winery this weekend for wine tasting. Ah, one listener just said. I just got through and was very polite. What I asked her. But the woman was very rude and hung up on me. For some reason, that's no way to treat customers. There really isn't This is this is really bad. But you know what? I have an idea for what's that? You know, he could set up a kiosk on the beach in L, a County and Ventura County. Right. He could do that. And I'll bet you get a lot of business. If he just, you know, lifted that most of that edict. Think of the business they could do, and they could come and get one right there. I don't know about you. But sometimes if I call a business and I'm not happy with my customer service, all you have to do is hang up and call back because maybe you'll get someone who will look up on the right side of the bed. So that's my suggestion to you. If you still want to go and make a reservation wine tasting the number again 7072247533.

"You're listening to the atom and Dr Drew Show again. You're there take some calls Roger Good in the world. Are you WANNA. Take some calls. I also also I also want to hear more about the PODCAST fast calls. I I mean I mean the the roast the the rose. I'll tell you more about the rest will twenty-six Philadelphia. Hi Guy Hi Guy those guys thanks for taking my call appreciate it man what's going on so I have a story that you would appreciate longtime listener of the show so I was on Iran. I live in pretty nice part of Philly guys have been in town right near Rittenhouse Square so pretty nice part of town and it was a beautiful day. I was on my way home from Iran and on a pretty busy corner I see this a homeless guy to standing there and he whipped out his dick and just starts pissing on the side of the street or as the hand so I I notice it as a marketing across the street and these two young ladies in front of me probably my age now they notice it and everyone's really discussed it so I walked by hand and everyone just kind of ignores it and as I walked by him and turn around the corner. I kind of think to myself that got. We know this. This is fucking discussing this crossing the line. This is way too much I mean yeah crapping on the sidewalks and fill yet in this this this town they just pull their pants on a crap everywhere so you sort of La but I like to I'm. I'm proud of my town. I love Philly so I turn around and I walked towards this guy and he's you know he's finished pissing. He's walking towards the little bus chantey where he's hanging hanging out and I start laying into I I go. That's absolutely disgusting. I can't believe you. Do you know what what what are you doing and he's no starts moaning at me. I think he was on drugs or something and they like starts picking up plastic forks on the ground and throwing it at me and I don't know I just I just you made a scene and I just figured it had to be done and I felt like you guys would appreciate dad talk about this. All the time won't getting worse and worse they. They need treatment. They need help they need. They need some laws that push them towards care. when that individual is properly really treated. He'll be mortified that he's behaving like that. It'd be pissed that somebody left him in the streets to behave like that but you know I it's it's Uncanny to me that we look at demented patients with the same symptoms ago got to help them but if a psychiatric patient of the illnesses a psychiatric one that causes the same symptoms symptoms don't can't touch that guy can touch him well. We we've had a backlash there. There has has been rule of law but basically authority any kind of authority any any we've turned any form of authority into a negative so not not only. I'm not just talking about law enforcement and I'm talking about boss and employee. I'm talking about school teacher and student or principal and student. You know what I mean. We have decided that that any chasm between this person and that person is a negative talks about the haves and the have nots and with more talk about out these people have everything and these people have nothing so. Nobody wants to be the authority anymore. It used to be you you wanted authority and authority was all around you know the parents were. This is a brand new law. Sorry I distracted aries as man right. This is a new law in California that signed by Gavin newsom either today or tomorrow last week as you listen that makes it illegal for a child to be suspended all the way up through at the end of Middle School for arguing with their teacher or principal right. You can basically say or do anything you want to a teacher anders illegal for them to discipline you gary. How Mu- how many times have you fucking heard me scream that you're reverse. It's like saying we have a thirteen year old daughter. She comes home at four in the morning on weeknights. She's missing her curfew at every. She's supposed to be home by eight. She comes home at four she. He smells of alcohol. Change the clocks shift shake. Take the clock and make dial at what time she coming. It's coming on about three in the morning okay. What time Um you went home ten. Okay just roll it back. Five hours problem solved problem solved and it's like no no no no no. I have solved the problem because you said her curfew was ten but she was coming home at three. Am that was the problem. I've now solved the problem by changing the clocks. I guess it's okay. How's that chick going to be doing when she's twenty five. Do we not see that. There's going to be a problem this. This is this is the Authority not being authoritative right this is Gavin News who's full pussy and and and then there's a yoga pants the governor he's a fucking pussy eager so Garcetti and this is them not doing what I'm talking about doing the so we are doing a lot of what I'm calling reverse engineering and problem solving through this you know hey what about the father. Daughter dance cancelled why because the girls have others okay but is that really going to help the girls that don't have fathers cancelling the dance while they won't feel bad but maybe they should think about got it. Maybe if a person is walking around carrying an extra truck tire around their midsections. Someone should tell him hey man put the put the cheeseburger down in in pickup something lean. I mean maybe there. Maybe there needs to be a place for a little shaming. Maybe kids should know that. If you argue you with your teacher you're gonNA get suspended or sent to the principal's office. I mean talking back. They're not talking about. I know you're up. What am I. They're talking about out. Kinda talk back that we get you suspended which is aggressive violent hostile full of expletives. If you really think you can legislate this problem this fucking new thing where we we can hear you. WanNa have no more criminals. Make everything legal well. We've done that too right all right. I've heard I've got to.

"I did this just so carry could do a short acceptance speech. I did the do the story for that David Lynch joins fellow director, Linda, work, Neuner, and actress Gina Davis and Wes Studi as honorary recipients of this year's governor's award from the academy of Motion Picture Arts and sciences. Ladies and gentlemen, David Lynch to accept his award. I'd like to thank me for this award because if it wasn't for me, I wouldn't be getting this award. Thank you. David. David Lynch, Charles Manson follower, Leslie Van Houten, who I do a killer impression of actually. No, I don't know, a kiss her impression, you say of, yes, a killer impre of Leslie, Van, Houten, I only do it around Halloween. However, governor Gavin news, one has overruled a parole board's decision to free, Leslie Van, Houten making it, the third time governor has stopped the release of the youngest member of Manson's murderous Colt. Ms van how is now sixty nine. And she still threat. Newsom said, I, I just watched a documentary with her that, were they interviewed her. Pretty extensively doesn't seem like much of a threat. She as a little old lady had there's threat, but there's also punishment. I'm not worried. She's going to go out and murder. Somebody. Okay, you killed somebody with the nuts, she that. She has spent nearly fifty years behind bars with reports of nothing but good behavior and testimonials about Hariri ability. Now wasn't was Van Houten when she was one of the ones wasn't even there. No. She she killed her with a knife. She killed the. She was an eager participant in killing of lobbying. Kaz lobby, Mr. MRs Lubyanka. She murdered people with the name sorry era. I'm sorry. You may be a nice lady and have made your peace. Had been good. Good. But there is sorry. Why are you? So I was just going by the threat thing. She's not be not a threat. But punishment you've been watching your noble. Yes. Okay. Authorities investigating Flint, Michigan water crisis. And I want you to draw your parallels. Yes. You search warrants to secure from storage the state owned mobile devices of former governor Rick Snyder and sixty five other current or former officials Cording to the Associated Press the warrants were sought two weeks ago by the attorney general's office and signed by Flint, judge. Solicitor general Fudd. Woah, ho mood, and Wayne County prosecutor Kim worthy, who's helping with the probe confirmed that they executive executed a series of search warrants related to the criminal investigation of Flint, lead contaminated water in two thousand fourteen two thousand fifteen and an outbreak of legionnaires disease. They declined further comment you saw Chernobyl you'll know what a show trial is. That's what they've had so far as a show trial. You see we looked into the we did we're doing everything we can to comply. So the spokesman for the attorney general Dana Nessel, who's not involved in the criminal investigation, but his handling lawsuits against state by Flint residents. The warrants want devices of individuals who've been in charge of the probe who've been charged in the probe, but who also, but also uncharged officials such as Snyder, and former environmental quality director, Dan, Wyant, and various people who worked in Snyder's office, because the allegation is they had many conversations on phone and other only is about the Flint water situation and they still didn't handle it. That's right. They still have bad water there. And Utah state board of education is scheduled to meet in executive session this week to discuss its contract with rise vendor Questar, which is not the same as the gas company and the assessment firms performance including whether it should c Gamage is because of several problems that plagued testing this spring. The standardized testing this company had had a history of problems with its testing state of Utah. Knew about those problems and yet they spent what was it last week? Forty some odd million dollars. Four forty four million dollars to hire them. Anyway. Board spokesman Mark Peterson said that the board is going to review the contract and discuss its options moving forward. What do we do for this year? What do we do for next year and the year after that he said, the board can do anything between we've take taken under advisement to terminate the contract a one in between option would be seeking liquidated damages for service interruptions, data delivery issues and data security breaches, some as high as fifty thousand dollars a day. You know, I wanna know though, who's going to be held accountable, and the state board of education, and the state school board, who, who they are is held accountable for making somebody signed on somebody signed a piece of paper saying, this is what we're doing. Nobody seems to be talking about that at this point. They're they're they're talking about. What are we doing to this company that screwed up so badly? Well, what do we do to the people who hired the people? Yeah up, so convinced us to hire these people that we knew sucked told you about this yesterday. Gina the deaths in Canada. More than a thousand aboriginal women and girls in recent decades was a national, genocide a government inquiry into murdered and missing. Indigenous women concluded in a report on Monday. And this happens in Alaska's well, and it's happened actually there are people who've looked at this, the deaths of indigenous women all over the country. And many of them, don't many of them go on reported, although they know about them because they because family members talk about right? The twelve thousand page report, twelve hundred page report excuse me, which resulted from an inquiry launched by prime minister Justin Trudeau government in two thousand sixteen blamed the violence on long longstanding discrimination against indigenous peoples and Canada's failure to protect those people. It also made sweeping recommendations to prevent future violence against indigenous women. The Royal Canadian Mounted police revealed in two thousand fourteen one thousand one one thousand seventeen aboriginal or indigenous women had been murdered between one thousand nine hundred and twenty twelve the inquiry which was beset by delays staff resignations. Because there were people who kept trying to keep them from lookout. Is there some thought as to who is doing this? It's not just one person that an ideology, that's true. You know what you can order these women and you can get away with. That's that. What is what seems to be coming out? So then there was a split because there were lesbian gay bisexual transgender people getting involved in the because they those people who are indigenous and are one of those persuasions even more live and more. So the final report called reclaiming power and place was presented during the ceremony in Quebec and was attended by hundreds of family members of missing and murdered. People Rabah original people account for four percent of Canada's population, but on average they suffer from incredibly irate of crime, poverty and addiction. We treated native Americans in this country, horribly Canada, at least as horrible, if not worse, the way they treated their native people. They were they were just staunching brutal to them and continue to be into the fifties and sixties the government in the sixties. I read some report about all these, you know, these special schools that they would take the kids away from their families, and send them to and it's a it's happened here as well. There's a report on KTAR dot org about how it happened here in Utah. Yeah. Well, it's there used to there used to be the inter mountain Indian school to they, they decided at long. I mean, it was still it was still a school when I was in high school you take away from their families, and get them all a input with take him to Brigham city and it was not the right thing to do not the right way to do things. Let's see the going to get its first standalone, Starbucks what? Yep. Well, who's gonna go xactly if that's not a note to shock you. It's going to be located right in front of the Brigham Young University campus students at the school taunting them. Yeah, they'll be able to send fell it. They will be well they used to have to drive up the hill to get their Starbucks. There was one in Orem there, I was a substitute teacher once a long time ago at box elder high school at Brigham city. Yeah. And I and I was I went to the faculty lounge for lunch and I said for take a lunch break. And I said, is there any coffee here in the fat faculty lounge, and the teacher said, no? And I said, oh, okay. And they said, yeah. It's not that we don't want it many of us would have, but the students complained about the smell of coffee in the hall bad this Mel students complained. And so the decision was made that, you know, and there are plenty of teachers who didn't want it around. But there were coffee drinkers there, so I just I would always go to into Brigham city into the idol. I'll if you don't drink it doesn't everybody like the smell of. No, no. It's temporarily not. I mean they like it too much. Nicole says that the Starbucks in Provo will only sell hot chocolate, though. So it's not even this is the this is the first Starbucks in Utah. That hasn't put a local coffee. Shop out of business. All right. That it. Sure. Sports weather traffic. Oh, so you got taco Tuesday tonight at the bees young. "One more thing about candle Harris and Willie Brown. So this occurred. This was in the newspaper over the weekend. Which which I'm sure is not even well read with people over sixty five let alone younger people who in love with capital hera's Willie Brown. I've been peppered with calls from national media about my relationship with Campbell Harris, particularly since it became obvious that she was going to run for president most of them have not returned. Yes, we dated. Now. See just that opening statement of Willie. This is his ego. So huge I've been peppered with calls in the national media about my relationship with cameras. Most of them have not returned. In other words, most of those people out there those little people out there. They're just us peons too small for me. Yes, we dated it was more than twenty years ago. Yes, I may have influenced her career by pointing her to to state commissions when I was assembly speaker. Isn't it? Interesting. It's little lower for play. You you do this for me. I'll do this for you you scratch my back. I'll scratch your back you have to you. So that's that's the deal. And I certainly listen to this. It's all out there. I influenced your career basically saying I made her career by pointing her to to state commissions when I was assembly speaker. And I certainly helped her first race for district attorney in San Francisco. And then he goes on to say have also helped the careers of house speaker Nancy Pelosi Gavin Newsom Dianne Feinstein, and a host of other politicians that he signs he said, the differences that Harris is the only one who after I helped her set word that I would be indicted. If I so much J walked when she was DA. I don't even know what that's referring to. But that's politics for he says, hey way to go willy that's politics for ya. So there we go. No mention of how he was old enough to be your father at the time. But you know, and he wasn't dating. Diane Feinstein or Gavin news. Good point. Our remember that next time we come around to the story dating while he was married. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Well, he's had. He's had quite the array of women over the years. Everyone in San Francisco knows that. Yeah. And he's still married to the same woman that he's been married to cheat. Non for decades. Is that true? Is there still married? I believe so and then how many children does he actually have not besides with the lovechild not not with Kamla Harris has four. Okay, total. Okay. Total. All right. Well, there are other stories I could tell but I won't because. What has been shared with me was completely private? So this move on. And it doesn't have to do with camel Harris here, we have the Florida Taco Bell evacuated after man discovers World War Two handgrenade..
