Not all of the exercises in the book but certainly all of the chapters and the core concepts. I'm really excited to dive deeper. If possible into them with you today. who four. we go that route. I would love to hear a little bit about your journey and how you came into this world that that if somebody was to ask me why genre the book is i would place it definitely in self help. But there is also a fair amount of Psychology in the book too. So how did you. How did you get to where you are now. So i am a former perform. And i live in new york city and so i was performing in new york city and doing standup comedy and writing skits. And things like that. Many many years ago and i was also having My own issues in terms of needing healing. And so i actually read the book by john. Bradshaw which is a classic healing. The shame that binds you. And i recommend it to any listener even after its thirty forty years old. It's incredible in that book. At the end he listed a word. I don't love alternative healing modalities and there was about seven pages about this technique called voice dialogue and as i read it. I was electrified. An like this this just about my favorite thing and so i hunted down. The doctors jalen's to stone. Who developed it. Which meant i got their eight hundred number. And so..

"This episode is a wonderful fit for december. She's a wonderful fit for this collective crossing the finish line of twenty twenty that were all experiencing first as a collective and second as individuals because everyone's circumstances and experience of this year are unique. Bridget dangle gaspard is the author of the final eight enlist your inner selves to accomplish your goals. The marathon has been used as a metaphor for twenty twenty in many of the articles that i've read and in some ways that's very very true and for the purposes of this conversation. We're going to be looking a lot at the finish line and getting across it. Bridget dangle gas bar. she's a former performer. She has earned a master's degree for from columbia university and she teaches at numerous professional settings including the omega institute. She's going to share how her life journey brought her to discover voice dialogue. It's a method for getting to know your inner selves as source of wisdom and guidance. In your own life and we take a deep dive in this conversation into what the method itself is like but then in the second half of our time together we get right into a couple of concepts that have had quite an impact. I must say in my own life. Which are the double bind and understanding the parental child. There are as bridget will tell us. And share there are positive aspects and real challenges to pretty much every single energetic dynamic that surrounds our inner selves the double bind and being a parental child but as leaders. It really serves us and it serves everyone around us if to understand what these dynamics are and how they show up in our life. So i encourage you to Really partake in this conversation. One thing that i will share with you is that she takes me through a round of the voice dialogue and as you'll probably sense my discomfort. It's actually kind of hilarious. But it's the first time that i've ever done anything like this on the podcast and as strange as it felt at the time it was a wonderful way to illuminate what this method is like. And take it off the pages and be able to share with you so I hope you will enjoy it. And take the deep dive that is available to you and check out the final eighth. It's a pretty great book and it's going to be staying on my limited shelf space. Bridget and i had never met before this conversation. And we get along like gangbusters. So that part is super fun and when you enjoy this conversation i would love it if you would leave a review on the podcast particularly..

"You're literally living your life and a hypnosis your just living your life through reactions and triggers based on what you experienced or denard expedience and i guess one of the points of yoga is through through breathing through moving a body in a certain way. It's meditation is to clear off these imprints and to reprogram your brain your mind so that normally able to take decisions but those decisions are in alignment with mortar troopers or calling is so it is digging inspired action but it. It's like digging inspired actions so that you might not go up. That ladder regretted like twenty years down the line. If i have achieved my goals these are in line with with my purpose. I'm not really happy. You know so. It's a double edged sword. Yes but i would say my lhasa fee alliance with just what you describe that so beautiful but the great thing is you can pierce a hole in that hypnosis like you said through yoga and just like wake up literally yep yep now a wakeup one of my favorite tv shows on netflixif called sense. It i love the is will. I love the one hundred but since it and if people know me they'll know that i love the number eight. I was born on june it. My sister's on april eight and my most recent in-person breads work workshop. What happened on august. Eight at eight pm. And so i like it's But warned mid you name your book. The final it. I love that you love aids. I had no idea literally literally came to me. I had was in private practice. And i had all kinds of different types of clients and they were dedicated and hard working and it didn't matter whether they were in the creative field or a lawyer i began to realize there was this stoppage like these are hard working people. They were moving toward the goals in. They were suddenly blocked and i watched. I remember which client was literally feels like came out of my belly. I'm like this is the final as it's a thing they're seventy to the way there and it came out whole and so i can't tell you why but it's like and then i shared it with my clients. Of course that's what eventually wrote a book. The men is described very short like just a sentence. I'm like the seems like a final aid issue. They caught. they were like yes it. Is it resonated with them in that also helped. Because it's like oh good. I can name it and when you can name something often then you can start to think of ways tach shift but that's literally came up out of probably a pattern you know. I had seen it enough without really thinking about it logically and finally and it never moved from that because that was what came out age are. It's are definitely fathom. I mean for some reason you know the other always seven is great because you have seven chuckers but what happens in the it is ultimately art determines your life. That's just my belief in your conversations with these people are. What did you find what was happening in their life liven why were before the deadline or before the finish line both so i am blessed that i had this client load that was genuinely talented and hard work and because i had been with them for a while i knew it was true like sometimes you someone say i worked really hard in the new did you do. And you're like oh okay. Last month you took one step. It's not a mystery why you're not moving forward but it was a mystery to me as well like it's not making sense. I know you did this. That and the other stuff torture goal and then thinking of several examples. One was a person in the creative field who was a performer. Underwriter and written all of these plays for ten year olds and had produced them directed them to great effect for in school. And there's a huge or for a plays that can be used by drama programs in elementary school and middle school and she was literally asked by a publisher. Can you just give me these plays that you've already written already performed. So you know they were teachers. Love them and they never got to the publisher all she to do his hand. Her notes really not hurt. They were gonna do everything else and she wanted to move up in her field but that was like just some parts of her. In fact there were parts that didn't want to be in. They were the parts that it never got to that publisher and so she would work seven days and she were hard and the productions were amazing and they were historical she find one one year it was about finding interesting females. That were heroes. And they were the females. We kind of all up hearing about so they were so special and they were versions of that and so that was part of it. The sadness like how the world is not going to get your incredibly special contribution and that. I think that'll so saddened me. Because i saw. Wow it's bigger than you like i. I certainly was a cheerleader for my clients. But i also saw how everybody lost when the final as isn't made This really really interesting. And i'm thinking in my mind is somebody who is looking at this individual who has spent obviously a lot of time creating these resources and assets and all she needs to do is send them away. They'll be like. Hey you got huge opportunity. Why did you. Why don't you just do it to set aside some dime on a weekend. It all put on headphones and just send an email just ship that package and then the lady or the girls will talking about might say you know art. You don't get it. they might say you. Don't get it. You don't understand what's happening in my mind. You don't you don't understand what's happening energetically. I'm trying but it just is not happening and so that brings me to the first chapter in your book. We discard all of what you want where we were not not all of you warns. Were you think you aren't exactly. What do you mean by that. So great not all of you which you think you want and that's a perfect example so what it turned out so there were several parts that wanted that. Let's just use this example of of getting these scripts published because she needed money. This would have been a source of income and ultimately a passive.

"But I never got to build with him at all and then when I see what? He's like And read sort of the things he's interested in and see some clips of him talking I'm just like even more bummed out then like that. I would have been because it's so sad no matter what but I'm selfishly bummed out because I'm like manny seems like such a cool smart interesting dude with like a lot of interesting philosophies on life Yet seen like Sonia. Deville put up really personal post. You know. And that's what I mean people who you just wouldn't necessarily expect like yeah. Roman through one up to about him shadows did I didn't realize they. Roman reigns Roman realize. They cross paths. Like you said all these people who cross paths with him that you'll realize yeah I'd be curious to like. Was it him showing up to like did he? Show up to the performance center. You know like like Sonia posted a picture of of her at dinner with like a whole bunch of people mandy. Rose Shied Chad's wife. I don't know exactly where the connection comes from So just really really sad stuff And I'm sure as time goes on. We'll we'll tell more stories and we'll hear more stories About how great a dude he was. But that's usually they were fun as attack team to you. You're right. I mean. I was offended by them in principle like it was one of the understandable right. It was one of those things that like. You don't want to tell people who are watching wrestling. They tune in real quick like really. There's a black tag team called crime time. You know what I'm saying like you see how it doesn't look good but it was but it was a y though. Was it crime with the I was with the why for exactly? So that's why are they doing the things that they do? What is the reason you got? You got to look deep but there was something about it that was done in a way. That was pretty funny and they were actually really good actors and by the way. Shad was kind of the actor the group normally. You're not used to the big guy. Being sort of the real comedy and the big actor of the group you normally would think. Oh he must be the muscle and and the and the smaller guy. He's going to be like the guy that's not it and by the way have you seen recent pictures of jt? Hard call smaller guy of anything. He's become absolute giant but while he was standing next to shadow had the next but he's also gotten t legit twice as big legit. It's ridiculous so It's also going to be of course really hard because not only is it the other incredible tragedy. But they're going to have to go through Which is not going to be easy. And he won't be able to be celebrated in in the way that he should be At least not in the traditional sense so let's Let's get the depressing things. I guess. We'll keep them together. And then we can move on and m maybe talk a little bit about wrestling and briefly. Talk about We have a paper you pay per view this week and I know all of you think I'm Michelle and now that I'm back with wwe. I'm not gonNA talk about a w but I I try to still do do it. Beyond just bearing Jericho's commentary and we talked about last week. Some of the great things they're doing and man listen backlashes for a few weeks so obviously be tuned in this weekend to a wrestling pay per view. That's what I do. I'm not. I'm not just in wrestling because I love. Wwe I love wrestling. So I'll be Nice G. you are physically cheap and you're you're also physically a shell. So are you going to get the pay per view this weekend? Physically cheap part is what is driving me probably not by the pay-per-view but hoping for follow along very closely on you know with the with the people on social media who who post clips and have things to say about what is must see from the card and finding a way to to recap that way. I wonder if they would do having a subscription service. And I don't mean like w network. Obviously they can't have that but where let's say if they do. How many of us look like they're doing your four right now. Yeah well that so. They're doing four year at fifty fifty a pop sixty like if sixty one twenty. They're asking spend two forty year. I wonder if they'd be better suited being like you can go all in no pun intended for like one thirty nine and get the whole year's pay per views. I wonder if they'd be better. Suited record could work anyways. We'll get back to that but as you did you watch dark side of the rain or was it too much. I haven't watched really any of them. I call it a little bit of the Ben while one. I didn't watch this one for the same reason. Though it's all is that like you know they they have a story to tell they're gonNA tell this story. You know facts be damned. I don't know how the they gave our hearts story. I don't know what she they gave that story a like a scientist didn't trust those guys to tell the accurate story. Having Marco heart actually be a part of this does give them some credit Credibility I'll admit but I didn't watch any of it I I have mixed feelings on it. It was a hard watch It was amazing to see some of the footage of Owen that they showed that I had not seen before That was really cool. I mean by having Martha in it. I guess she also was willing to give them footage And some of the some of the home footage was really cool to see For people like us who love Owen. Hart I just had not gotten to see it. So that part was great. I really really enjoyed that It did it tell. Did he me any more information than I already knew. No but like I am Owen. Super Stan I read. Martha's book Obviously I've read Brett's book I've watched every one thing there is. I've interviewed every wrestler about Owen. Hart I've sat around talking with Mark About Owen Harp many many times So I am not necessarily the right person to tell you I guess in some ways I'm good to tell you how accurate I thought it was it Cetera but in another way I'm not the best person to tell you how worth a watch it is because I've I'm just so deep it when it comes to heart stuff I sort of assume everyone's like that but I'm sure that's not true So that being said it was It was well done and it was. It was very thorough in terms of that night's events And his life and getting to see a good not deep into his life but seeing some of what it's about Obviously the Martha stuff and it became clear from the doctor. Their son Oche feels the same. Way Athena. His daughter all expressed a little bit of resentment toward wrestling owes more directly though specifically set himself. He has no interest in his father. Being the hall of fame So you know I. I find that to be a really tough conversation. You know member a couple of years ago and mark brought it up At the hall of fame it was. It was a little uncomfortable kind of Arcata. Basically that the camera looked at the camera and kind of Said Bartha please let Owen be celebrated here And I listen I I just can't get into the business. I guess of publicly questioning a widow's decision of how she wants to handle the memory of her husband who died in that way. I I can't say I can't get into it I can also say they're it bums me out bums me out it does I think that his wrestling side get sort of. It's a shame that it's sort of like his family versus wrestling. That sucks. That sucks Yeah regardless of whose whose fault it is If there's such a thing is fault when you have things like this. But it's like the hearts the hearts and wrestling against his actual family and that just sucks and you know that would suck for Owen into it would suck for him no matter what any anyone who's ever had family drama between their their family and their family of origin knows that that sucks even when. You're living that sucks so for it to happen in. Death is a real an extra tragedy to me of this whole thing but frankly I can't I can't call you know why it is that way and I'm not going to get into a bret. Hart Verse Martha Hart. Who says what But it's not worth the honestly. Neither one of them can speak for Owen right. We have no idea what he would want that. That's the truth. The truth is you can say. Hey I'm gonNA choose to believe what his widow has to say and I think that's totally fair if that's what you WanNa do and then you can say. Nah I'M NOT GONNA. I don't know what anyone has to say about this. And I'M GONNA leave it out there and I understand that too Because you're right. He either way his Martha's not him And bread is not him and wwe certainly not him so I'll just say one thing. The whole world would like not the whole world wrestling. Twitter seem to be going nuts anti Kevin done because of this part this. Now there's a part in the dock where you know Jim Ross tells the story of Kevin Dunn telling him like Jr's like. I don't know what happened. What happened and and Kevin Don's like he he died and you're back in ten nine and that's the way. Jr tells that story is that he found out he found out the words. He's dead and then immediately got and you're back in. And that story instantly led to like the Internet ripping Kevin done as if all of a sudden that makes it his fault. Yeah I like that. I feel like that's how they lose radio K. passing away with delivered to though say it again. So I feel like that's how the news of JFK DI was delivered to like. The president is dead and year back in Blah Blah Blah. Because now it's your responsibility to tell the public know.

"Man. All right there is thank you man. David Otunga really wonderful guy. I I try to tell everyone man like there's people in. Wwe You might not normally like spend a lot of time thinking about you know because of what their roles are. You know Dave's one of those guys you know. His wrestling career moved on from it I never even actually talked him in detail about why entering career ended but from the first time we ever worked together. I mean you talk about the an absolute gem of a person. I mean David Otunga to the earth so It was nice to hear those stories from one amazing guy about his amazing friend but SGI I communicated with spoke on the phone with mvp a few days ago. He said he wasn't ready today to come on and talk. And obviously I understood and spoke to mark Henry overtaxed And you know there is. There is a real fraternity of black wrestlers That is a very very real thing. at she did you see the video going around of MVP and Shad together when they saw Kofi Win Kofi one title. Yeah Yeah Yeah when think about MVP and Shad like? That's the only thing that comes to mind. Is that video of them? And I remember from Wrestlemania weekend last. I like coming away from that and just see an avenue floating around. I think one of the of this okay. So so it's funny you say that so I remembered when I saw the video that day I was. I was in the car on my way to Wrestlemainia. I wasn't working last year. Was Not my favorite Wrestlemainia As you guys probably all know I guess I wasn't working with the company a lot of people here it wasn't a lot of a lot of And so but I was going had to go work for the for ESPN and shoot some interviews And so I was thrilled about it. It was not a great time in my life in general and I was. I was there and not working. Nfl Weird for you know for the first time in three years anyways totally beside the point I am in the car an MVP calls me and he's like Yo. I'm thinking about staying in town for the night idea. Done something the day before you know all Wrestlemainia type stuff and he was like I'm thinking about staying for the night. Do you think Any of those parties used to. Do you have any of those parties going on you. Think anyone's trying to have appearance from MVP. And and I said let me call by let me my people's over at Yep I like wrestling and reached out and Of course you know those guys who are just tremendous and and love the business so much You know they said that they love to have And so they did and I didn't think much of it and and then just this week I thinking when I saw that video how great it is Schaus to sunny so freaked. I believe it was sunny. Who I called you know that they were able to work that out and that. Mvp just randomly decided to stay in town. Yeah because that that video of you haven't seen it that video of Shad and MVP sharing that joy of Kofi winning is amazing And I'm so glad that we all get to have that video and see it So shout out to Sonny Frito for making that happen And for MVP staying in town and it really is a touching video to like when it was by the way it was completely just as touching made me not just as touching but basically has touching When Chad was alive it was just touching amazing video and now it just has this extra layer of kind of heartbreak to it And you know I I communicated with Kofi this week as well You know everyone is just really Suffering you know and you really look down the board and You know people you just wouldn't necessarily expect s she. G are all sort of affected by you. Know Yeah So let's talk about for a second the Crime Times career as she g. This is a you remember things like this. Well I think this is a case where you might may might actually live up to your Monica as stack. I Greg I think. They only competed for the title. One time yeah. They didn't have many opportunities that I believe it was twice and though one they definitely had like a long lengthy feud with the Cato Murdoch. I believe they had a brief feud with Ms Morrison as well when those guys were protecting champions and it was honestly for me like as a fan I with Otunga people have mixed feelings about prime time and things like that but like me I was all in in on crime time like they were the heroes they were they were funny like I love them. I I get where people come from the you know plain stereotypes and things like that but for some reason. I never never looked like that like I always just completely enjoyed a supported everything that they were doing. And the you know for me selfishly. Not SEEING THEM FORGET ATTACK. Titles you know that kind of stuff but why do you think why do you think you? Why do you think you didn't see at the see them that way? Do you think it's because of how they played it and it just being clearly funny like them sort of owning the humor of it that it didn't annoy you know what I'm saying because I could see how it certainly would. I mean it had moments rows right. Listen that's definitely part of it. Like why may like they were in on the joke number two like they. They dressed like if I were to become a wrestler. I will probably like how they dressed like that you know they were like they've felt like people you know. People grew up with people from the neighborhood. Like you can't help but support somebody from the neighborhood taking it like that where we where was a shot actually from from Brooklyn. Both of them does that. Real Shadow was born in. Brooklyn while JT. G was also wow. I never realized they legit were born in Brooklyn He. He's also makes sense. Yeah I mean why would I believe? Last time I checked bad news brown wasn't for Marlin. I mean that's sort of the closest tie character. Wise right you know Shad was Haitian and curious Owan. His father says on Kapiti was former enforcer in gangs in the early seventies and he worked for Frank Lucas..

"There. I show up one morning shange to year there and I'm like Whoa. You know what's going on and I don't know what they did but she'll be gotten in trouble for something. I don't know what it was and their punishment was kind of being sent to. W for a few weeks or something like that. I know what it was But again this was really cool because this was just when I was starting off and he just under his wing there and just talk to me and just teach me stuff about the business in different things in a ring come up with a with different maneuvers and stuff One thing that stuck out it was like a Friday night. He's let's go out where we're GONNA go out and eat and no have Sushi at this place. So there's a bunch of us there's probably like fifteen or twenty of us go to this place in Tampa All the Sushi drinks have a great time then at the end of the night shed picks up the TAB. An woman what you don't have to do that takes a tad turns who tells me he's like Nah this is. This is my honor to do this. And he's like this is what you do. You guys are still trying to make like you know. I'm doing well on the main roster. I'm going to take you guys so when you get to a comfortable position you do the same you go back and you take care of the guys you know beneath you and also help pull somebody up. And that's just the kind of guy shed was. He's always trying to help people He helped me. I mean a lot just you know professionally personally to just being a good friend you know positive influence in an ear. Always offer it. You know the truth the kind of making you remember who you are. Two one one thing that stood out to me was that you know. I didn't I didn't know Shat at all and and now going back and sign it kind of like you know. Sometimes you'll realize like like even when you and I started following each other for example. I'm like oh I never followed David and you realize that you might like like someone or admire them or have you watched them on. Tv and not follow them at all not really know what their lives about until you you have a reason to and unfortunately this is why. I went back and looked and I saw that. How socially and politically aware. He was and seem really into it to me. Of course the irony was so thick. Because obviously you know. I'm sure everyone has mixed feelings on the crime time Gimmick Right To say the least and then you dig into Shad Gaspard was and man. He really seemed like he was about the knowledge. No he really was. And that's one of the things that it made their gimmick interesting because it was the antithesis of who he really was but I mean. The guy was an incredible performer. A A worker in I mean he he gets it and I kind of stink to him was kind of satirical the way he was playing hysterical. That's what I always got from it. Any conversations with him But yeah shed was a definitely knowledgeable and you know he. He always had amazing stories. And you know I didn't know if they were true all the time but one of the things was that I would be impressed by his insight. I never thought about that that way. And Yeah definitely an intelligent guy. One thing I've been seeing to like all the tributes to share that the fellow fathers felt like they had an extra bond with him just through like fatherhood and that journey. Did you guys have that as well or was that not something most definitely that was? I mean she had an. I were friends from the beginning. And then we had sons who are really close in age of both ten years old and we became even more close and just bonded over that and how. Awesome Fatherhood was like. You're still many times like it. Will shed just text near or he would send me something like facebook messages out of the blue and like I remember what time he's like woke up this morning. God made eggs and Fredge Tillis for bud. We want over math and you know we studied French or something like that. And he's like out of hood is the best job in the world as a test. Just just letting me know that I'd like man. I couldn't agree more absolutely but like he. He would light up talking about his son. I you know I made. It means something to me because I'm the same way like I'm all about my son and sheds relationship. His son is reminds me of my own. And we're just very similar in how you know. Building young that building up their confidence teaching him everything wanting them to be better versions of us an in even just expanding their mind and everything they can learn. It was just really cool because whenever you saw shed. If he was Gold's gym which I saw all the time he probably probably be by himself or otherwise. You have a son with him and I'm the same way so we really really bonded over that yet. It's always a treat when When you have your son at TV he he's which is a fixture shows up to the you know a few pay per views a year It's always great to to see you in that mode. I just I'm also taken aback with Greg and I were talking about. How like you know listen. Wrestling is a business where people don't feel strongly about someone you know you won't you won't see the over outpouring of emotion This this is striking. I mean you're talking about from the Rock and Batista to the Bellas to to to people who are two people on the roster now who you might not even think you know who just got out of annexed t in the last year to. Everyone seemed to have the same feeling. About how positive person Shad Gaspard was he. He really was a person who's big on energy and when Shad walks in a room you feel it positive energy. It's a smile. He's loud but he makes everybody feel comfortable at that. Was I think? Probably the most important thing and why everybody loves that. You can't help but like the guy he just has this welcoming presence which is weird because he's gigantic. This is a huge dude. Who if you didn't know him? Were talking to you. Be intimidated by but when you start talking to be like. He's a big teddy bear but literally just the nicest guy and shed knows everybody he really does. And it's weird because not even just in wrestling but in in Hollywood or even enacting. I can't tell you how many auditions I've been on all your wrestler. Do you know this other retail Chad that's him acting coach recently. Oh my one of my favorite students. Is this Guy Shad? He's arrested you know him. I'm like I sure do should do you get a chance to read pimple or he. He said it to me. He sent me an early Version of it. And the other thing. No that makes this tough is like sad was so talented and I mean his dream was to make it in Hollywood and he was doing that. You Know He. He'd was so happy to be in birds of prey. And in fact this is a story. A lot of people don't know in twenty sixteen I was living in L. A. This is when I spent a ton of time with SHAD Always had our kids together. We hung out a good bit and my ex at the time was filming this movie. Sandy Wexler With Adam Sandler and in. Its there's a wrestling scene with actually go to wrestle. Media Jerry clued cruise plays a wrestler. Shad was his stunt double so shed hits me up and he's like Yo I got this part you come into set and I was like yeah now drop by so I drop by and we're at a the forum in La it's awesome. It's all set up. It's all wrestling. Shed is through stunt double but like. There's all these boys they're like a key she's there. This is by the way. This is the source of my infamous rookie story. I tried to tell them. Commentary on smackdown. I never finished. This is when that conversation happened and there was some independent wrestlers guys Chicago. I came there just to hang out and it awesome and I never told anybody this but ended up getting a part in that film small part and it was largely based off a shed because we were there and I was cool with Adam Sandler like I said my ex was doing the film and so I was really tight with Adam and I would sit there and watch and so shad came over and he always introduced me to people so I kinda introduced him to add a little bit and let him just come and chill and we talking and stuff so course chance starts putting me over putting your anyway. He can and trying to put it in a good word with at all manual. Dave's such talented address. This decided we'd ever this like a smiling and Adam Oxley. He's Bro. I'm GonNa get you in this movie and I'm like what he told her to put you in this movie. I'm I'm GonNa talk to them. Shag oh this is. This is cool though you need to do that. Not Gotschi later. He comes up and he's like no joke no joke he's like Adam wants you to come straight. Shed what does he shed is the nicest guy in an met so well. I for me like he would go too far. I don't need you to do this because they know Adam wants you to come his trailer. I'm like all right all right exactly. Let's be hilarious to join me and my wife Star of the movie and Like well what do we do? He's like knock on the door. I'm nervous because I don't WanNa look like posing. I don't wish you had told him. And Luckily they say Auto Adam and the boys were playing basketball what they had a basketball court somewhere. I don't know their play. He loves well. They replayed violent five somewhere. I was like great right. Sorry fake appreciated it. Experts ride. I gotta go back and do a little bit. Sorry I let him finish up that day. Or whatever sure enough excavated tells me hey part for you in this and I'm like really. She's like yeah he just decided to write it. I think she even knows where where that came from. That was that was all for right now. All sheds doing so. Eddie was a small part. They had edit. I think both get out anyway but story. But that's just how how nice he was how he wanted me to succeed as well. Yeah Great Memory. Man. I'm I'm really sorry for all you guys for everyone who's dealing with this lost directly and It's it's obviously it's just it's just horrible. It's just a horrible story but I'm grateful that we're getting to share his his energy with people because it seems to really just listen to these stories makes you feel good It does make you feel good to hear about someone. Who sort of oozed such Positive Vibes man so grateful for you coming on man and Good luck be safe and Gal who knows this? Ladies and gentlemen welcome aboard It's GonNa be a tough episode of cheap e we're going to try to. We'll try to find a way to have some fun But obviously this is not a good week with the the news of the passing of. Shad Gaspard So I'M GONNA call up. Stj On the line here and get started. Try to talk to a guest or two as well and Do the best we can for what has been a very Strange and sad week and professionalizing and not only with the news of Shad Gaspard but then on top of that one of the main themes of the week was the Owen. Hart documentary or if you want to call it. That the dark side of the ring as the anniversary for that over the edge pay per view in Kansas City Approaches as she g you hanging in there. Yeah I am Yes so I as you just heard me saying. I started off playing the crime time theme and you know just briefly. I'm going to tell the most brief version of the story. If you haven't heard it already shad gaspard drowned this week in Venice beach. He was swimming with his son is last act was telling the lifeguards who came into the water to go save his son and as his son was being rescued he submerged and Was found a few days later It's it's just about every talk wrestling and an about him as a person but simply as a story if if we were to read this story about an absolute stranger. It's just as bad and sad story as you could possibly ever hear. It's one of those things that if you saw it on the news or read the headline you you just go my God. Did you see this this horrible event so it Kinda starts like that and then you start getting into the person that shad was by all accounts and Stj just makes it like makes it even worse. I I didn't even know I didn't even know shad which I'll get into it a little bit because I find it to be so strange that I didn't but I I certainly also did not know like how great of a guy he was until his passing and I was almost taken aback by it. I don't know what your feelings were pretty much the same. I didn't know him at all. But when you think about the circles dislike asking new of everybody loved everybody got an on really loved the and even him be a hero. Just tell him to town lifeguard. You know saved my son and put a his son's life before himself is is what you listen to the stories that are white tells about. Chaz like that was sad even what he stopped at on. Robbery himself endanger to. Make sure you know the the store was alright shad. I totally forgot about that story. I completely forgot that that happened. It's pretty crazy that he died the same week in time. That Owen did because it sounds like in some ways. There are some similarities personality wise. No Yeah I mean people who are like just a joy to be around that everybody has nothing but positive things to say about the family. Men who love family love their kids and be clear. The wrestling business is one. If people didn't want to say positive things about someone after they died. They're more than willing not to you know. This is I've heard not great things before about people who are gone. Believe me we all have and this story just really. It rocked Iraq the wrestling world. It really really did We're going to bring on David Otunga in a few minutes I don't know if you saw his post s g but he had a really beautiful post about shad and and David's I stay at wwe. So I wanted to bring David on the show to tell you guys historian himself and like I said. We'll she at some point. Let's try to At some point we'll try to preview double or nothing this weekend You know so. We can do something about wrestling But it really feels that you know. It's worth talking some about his career as she g and the tributes poured in and And things of that nature Anything in particular that you you know that you learn this week or tributes you saw from people that maybe surprised you in terms of the the reach that he had and how many different people he affected while I knew that he you know turned to acting and he was doing like some some bit parts on the side I just. I didn't realize like how DP was involved in it. I Know Goldstein. Mention a screenplay that he worked on for for a TV show Called painful about the wrestling industry. Which I'm pretty sure something that if it hits hits screen. We're all going to be interested in whether this tragedy happened on. Not so just to see him like taking on a new industry. Really make headway with that. You know I'm a game or two. And apparently he was the he was the body. Fat was the work for the model he. The character model used his body to to shape Prato. Who is like the main character in one of the biggest games of last year? Probably one of the biggest games all time so he was a character model for that. He did a lot of motion. He's wrestling video games. That we all play. He really seemed like yeah. I'll say he really seemed like he was grinding. You know and like he was That's I watched Batista's tribute video yesterday. let me see if I can pull up a second but let's see if we can play a second of Batista I don't know if you're on the law I mean won't let me. You really had the best jobs to yeah. He really your body's used for video games in all these movies. He was get hard with Will Ferrell. He was in recent birds of Prey Superhero movie birds of prey. That's right that's something Batista. Mentions I feel like he might have been girls trip to like a man. That's movie if this works I don't know if it will. I'm going to try it though. Say still very one. Anybody knows me knows that I'm not person to mourn publicly just as just not. It's not my way out. It's not the way I do things. Not The way a process things But I thought it was worth mentioning. Shaggy sparred today does been sitting here all day trying to figure out why this is bothering me. So Much Shannon. We weren't super close. Not WanNa make pretenses like you know we were. We were super close. Known him since two thousand six and we had some great times on the road and we talk here and there and I see them all the time a goal. She was as everybody knows he was. He was a common face gold. Who spent a Lotta time now? Lifted people up in telling big stories if he knows that you know what I'm talking about and this these are the kind of things where we just didn't Joe. I was a very subtle person. I like to sneak into a room and sheds not now. He likes to be liked to walk into a room and caused a ruckus duty was bigger than life. That's just the first bit from Batista and he goes on he gets quite teary-eyed and Emotional and with that. Let Som- I'm going to bring in David Otunga right now A David there. I'm here there you on David Man. It's a pleasure having you on By the way David is my co host Sack Guy Greg Greg. This is David. Hunger was on David or Mr Otunga. Mistletoe esquire dressy on. How do we do this Dave? Hey listen I just wanted to bring you on? It's actually it's it's it's it's it's probably typical of how stupid we all are that the first time. I've had you on the PODCAST. In spite of our sort of friendship. We've been developing over. The last couple of years is for something so tragic but I saw your. I saw your post about your relationship with Chad and your first day at the company and I just wanted to let you have the Florida talk about Shad and if you wanted to. Regale US WITH THAT STORY. Whatever you wanted to do but I know you guys had a relationship so I wanted to give you that opportunity. Yeah This this one hit me really hard even just finding out I I found out in like the most terrible way like somebody a PR person had contacted me to get jt. Jeez number and just simply ask dry have Gigi Jeez number. I'm really tight with J G. I said well yeah so I I and just say no so and so once you numbers it okay to give it. He's like sure and making conversation. I had talk to him a little bit. I just said you know hope things are going or something like that and he responded still trying to process things and that kind of shook me up and I'm thinking something happened I did. I didn't know about and write down like I go and check online and I'm like holy crap. You've gotta be kidding me. And all I saw was a headline so immediately I call Jason. And you know just ask them. What's gone apologized? Let him know. Like Hey I had no idea to be saginaw like colder or anything attacks. I didn't know what was going on. You know he started telling me the details and you know man. I couldn't believe it. Just we can terrible. What one of the One of the things that so weird I was talking to MVP WEEK. Was you guys have grown accustomed to unfortunately losing people young from weird circumstances and Everyone in this business has done then. And fortunately for your generation a little bit less so than the generation prior but it sounds like that was shad. You're talking about someone who did not have any of the residual negative affects of the of the wrestling. Business this is a the kind of the last guy you would possibly think would would pass away at this age. Yeah that's totally. True Shannon was such a positive guy just a positive light I mean everybody who knew him loved him and I mean I think that's why you're seeing this outpouring of love like everybody loves shed and getting back to my first day in the company here I am. I get this opportunity to to try out. This was just a face to face meeting. With the head of talent relations Giannis. I GET FLOWN TO SMACK DOWN IN HOUSTON Texas I'm nervous I don't know what to expect. I'm excited but at the same time you know I'm nervous. It's like your your first day. Hopefully I'll get the opportunity to even try out. This is before that I walk in the door. And somebody else you'll plug and before I can even turn around like spooks me up in this giant arm. What what the heck look up and it shed mind you. I've never met him before. See Him on. Tv I've never met him before. And he's a Yo you're my guy. Negative my dude from New York. 'cause I just feel finished I lived Newark two and he was a fan of the show. And he's like are you trying out and I'm like yeah. He's not gosh. This is so you're going to fill it brother here. Let me show you round. That was when I first walked. He took me literally led me everywhere. She'll be what I needed to do the whole day to me. Relations to check in with Toronto took me around just to meet. The boys like it was it was crazy. It was surreal but the thing was we just clip it right off the bat and you know after having worked there in seeing other people come in on the first days what nobody does that. I've never seen somebody do that. And that that meeting appreciate it all that much more that shed did this for me. Made sure I was welcomed and then fast forward a couple of months. I get the I get signed. I'm FCW. It's probably like.

"Off for me would be a not entirely correct for me. He was a little quieter than normal. 'cause you know like you said Owen. Owen just loved to have fun. He loves the joke around. He loved the rib and stuff like that. He just seemed a little quieter than normal and more Seemed to be more and fought if I if you sitting with them and Godfather and just finding out going over the match and finding what they wanted you know to do and other than that. I didn't have a whole lot of interaction with them. Because you know at the time I had multiple duties so I was. You know emily the wing and doing other stuff and multitasking and stuff. But again I didn't see him being to off but I will say quieter than normal and Jimmy watching that and and just going through that tragedy and and and listen hearing that you're in a ring and you feeling like something brushing up against like you have. I know for you for me watching that as a friend of yours I was like. Oh my God like not that close to be able to feel that behind you to for it to brush up against you. It's just that it's a really brings a chill down your spine and and and thankfully thank God. You are a okay after that and and just hearing about what you had to go through that night and the blur of it and then just thinking about just as a professional what. Jr had to do as a broadcaster and the wrestlers having to get back into a ring where their friend had just passed away in. It's just it's incomprehensible and and I'm and I'm sure Jimmy that this situation we'd be completely different if it happened today on every on every level like I'm sure there would have been other safety precautions. That would have taken place with him coming down from the ring. I'm sure that you know that the show would have been stopped. I'm sure that this whole ordeal would have been completely different or avoided if it happened. Twenty years later. Oh definitely I totally agree with that and again. This is not a of the company but that was the situation. I don't recall at least in my mind ever having something that tragic bully mentioned the draws incident Earlier in the show and that was terrible as well but I don't recall anything. This tragic happening In wrestling so it's not like you have a precedent to go by. Is that me now. If that makes any sense I mean I'm not again not defending the choice of going on with the show because as we look back. I think that may have been a mistake in my opinion. But you know this is unprecedented to see something like that happened and Jimmy. I know it was tough. I'm sure it was tough for you to watch Dark side of the ring last night. And and you know as your friend. I truly appreciate. I truly appreciate the time today. No I appreciate you guys have me on I. I wish I could have said A little more light on on You know the immediate aftermath. What was going on backstage but You know I just wasn't there to just to see it so I I saw very little of that and again. I'm going to try stuff as it is to remember the good times and the fun times but again it always goes back to this and and the hard part is it stirred up a lot of A lot of memories and emotions. She tried to block you know and and and put away somewhere but again I appreciate you guys having me on and continue the show. You guys are awesome. I love it and Keep up great work. Does he remember going to raw the next night we we. We had the conversation about Jim. Ross before we went to break before having Jimmy on I just can't imagine what was going through the minds of everybody that was in the arena. That night you know in every everybody to had to perform that night I mean you know performing where your friend and Co worker had just died. I can't imagine you know what was going through anyone's mind as they were continuing to work after that tragedy taking place. You go on autopilot. Dave Trust me. I know it's not not because I've dealt with that. You know that exact situation but I know what happens to wrestlers in these times you completely. Go on autopilot. Look at all of the guys that have gone on autopilot because of a concussion. Sustaining that that kind of brain scrambling in injury who are able to complete matches. And not even knowing where the hell they are. I've been through that takers described. I think Steve is described it when you have something like that happen. You're so on the move your show go. Go GO FORWARD FORWARD FORWARD. Something like that happens you immediately. Your defense modes go up. You go into autopilot and you just keep going the only way I can logically describe it. I don't think a lot of the guys would allow the moment to hit them at that moment. I don't think the guy's emotionally would be like. Oh my God what just happened. I can't go out there because you're so wound up an into the show. I don't know if I'm making sense right now. I'm doing my very best. You're very much in that. The show must go on mode and you continue to go out there now looking back at it now. I can very easily say. Well Gee my God how the Hell do you go out there especially the very next match but go back and watch the very next match? Got Through it didn't they. They did and that's the hardest match to get through the very next match or you could say that the hardest match to get through is the matched that found out that Owen had actually passed away and now has to go out there and still perform and as you get later in the show the match becomes more important. And I'm sure and I'm just guessing here bully because you're talking about being on autopilot. I'm sure if you ask anybody that was on the rest of that card. They probably couldn't tell you anything that happened in their match. Because I'm sure you are on autopilot and I'm sure that just instincts take over and you're in a faulk. I'm guessing you know because I've never had to go through that. Were immediately after something like that. I'd have to go in and and and work though I've done shows like where you know I was sick and it just like you. Just get through it but I can't imagine the mindset of somebody getting in that ring oven like you said. You're just on autopilot. It was interesting to hear Jimmy. Deras say that he didn't remember you know the the the rest of the night the next day in Saint Louis for raw. It's basically gone from his memory and the only thing I can chalk that up to as a concussion but obviously he did not have a concussion. He was in shock. Yes shock will do that to you. Schalk will will scramble your brain to the point. Where you have no recollection. So probably what happened to Jimmy? I'm no doctor. I'm an saying definitely I'm saying what's probably happened to him. The world of pro wrestling when you're on the road three hundred days a year and all you know is pro wrestling it takes over your existence and you are in constant wrestling mode. It's almost as if emotions don't exist. You're in this bubble especially wwe mode back in those times. It's a perpetual state of movement a perpetual state of wrestling a perpetual state of nothing else exists in your life except wrestling and you can't understand it or appreciate it unless you actually live it on a side note. I just I just WanNa say this with I thought it was a good season. Dark side of the ring. I thought Jericho did a phenomenal job. This season I thought Cornet did a phenomenal job. This season my mvp for the season is Jr. You're not because of last night okay. It's because I've never seen jr or heard jr be so comfortable with his takes like this is the first time I've seen Jr not be protective of the WWe and last night when they talk about the contract that they offered to Alwin when Brett left. J. Always brutally honest. Of course we offer them that money you know because Brett left. Let's be honest about it. You know he wasn't protecting anybody anybody. He was being brutally honest and the head of talent relations. Working so close with Vince. And knowing where everything how everything went on in the wwe to hear his brutal honesty to me. It's the first time. Jr has been brutally honest for so long and to me. He's my mvp of the dark side of the ring this season. And you know what I'm saying last night to about them moving forward with the show he goes what they did was he said what they did was embarrassing and him just explaining that story that took place within ten seconds. I mean it's it's just unreal. I agree with you. He was definitely the MVP of season two of dark side of the rain. Thanks for listening catches Monday through. I'm busted open from nine. You know just that's the measure of a man in the measure of a father so we lost one or the the great guy just a great man And we our condolences our love and our support to Shad Gaspard family and friends during this very very difficult time and this is definitely bully a very difficult show to do with that news of of Shad Gaspard and obviously coming off of a very difficult watch and dark sided rang and I truly truly am thankful for this next guest time somebody who is a friend show somebody who is a a listener to the show and one of my favorite people because he's always very good with his time and his opinions and I know this has got to be a difficult time for him as well after watching dark side of the ring and I bring in Jimmy Cordera soon and Jimmy Thank you so much for the time today. I know it's gotTa be difficult for you to talk about this situation Yeah guys thank you for having the on Appreciate it very much. And yes it doesn't doubly difficult like especially with the The Shad situation and I I don't want to sound cliche about this but such a such a good guy but was in the men's that hero. The man is a hero bottom line and my heart goes out to his family and prayers and thoughts. Unbelievable unbelievable Jimmy. Obviously we've been talking a lot this morning about Owen and about the episode last night that you are on and you gave your take and I'm GonNa get to it because I want. I want to know some some honest answers here or at least as honest as you can give without treading. Wwe water at all. Why did show? Why did the show go on? I and this is completely honest. Bully I'll try to make this quick I honestly do not know because after everything had occurred and they finally got own on the stretcher. And we'll wheeling him back for some reason I can't explain. I scooped up the Blue Blazer tape and I was clutching it and following them to the back when I got to the back. There's there's Deborah crying and Jeff is in tears. Somebody grabbed the The CAILLEBOTTE my hands but I followed these stretcher to to the ambulance and was outside and watch as it would all the way I was. I shaking like like beyond belief and somebody sat me down the steps and gave me a cigarette and I was trying to calm myself down and not You're trying to MECO working. Yes yeah he came up to me and says hey we gotta go and I said we gotta go where he says we gotta go. Get your checked out. I say what do you mean you gotta get checked out because you're gonNA take you to the hospital. Just GonNa check you out precaution. I said I don't need to go to the hospital. I just I. I need to calm down. No that's company protocol. We gotta take it to the hospital so I I had no idea what was going on. I didn't know that the show continued. I had no recollection that all I know is. They took me to get checked out. Apparently because of what I explained in in the in the episode last night I got brushed on the side of the head on my shoulder so they just wanted to make sure that everything was okay and there is okay so you go to. You went to the hospital. Yes actually I did seem how long. How long were you at the hospital? maybe an hour and a half when you left the hospital did you go back to the arena. No they grabbed my stuff and to be. And here's the hard part After I left the hospital well at the hospitals found out the the nurse came in until we re with the gentleman that they brought in referring to Owen and I said yes how is he the and that's when they told me he passed away. So I again. Oh man then like my first reaction was to call home and call my fiance at the time and my wife and I'm and tell her what had happened then i John Stayed in the weight room and when I met him he said. Hey we gotta go and this is where it's all a blur now. Because the next day we were in Saint Louis for rock. I don't remember after the hospital going to Saint Louis to the life of me. I remember whether we drove whether we flew we on the bus I. It's it's gone I that is not there and that no matter how much try to remember going from Kansas City to Saint Louis. It's not there. When does your memory kickback in It's it's kind of like I remember waking up in the hotel and Saint Louis and and we head over to the venue and I'm still trying to process everything you know what I mean. Nothing makes sense and and I walk into the building and the first person I Of the talent that I run into is is tinker and tanker sees me and he and he goes. Are you okay and I said Yeah. I'm good he says. Are you sure you're okay? I'LL BE I'LL BE OKAY. And he says to me if there's anything you need you come to me and I went okay and I'm like wondering what's going on and run into hunter. Same thing and then you know. I go into production office and everybody's just in tears and stuff Jr was awesome but brought me into his his talent nations. You know what you want. If you want to go on we'll send your home and I'm like no. I think I need to be here some. Something's telling me I need to be here with everybody. And and and then King lawler sat me down and that's when it really hit close to home because he he said you remember anything. I said I just remember. You know feeling that something. Brush me at the time. I thought somebody through something. And he said He told me that he spent the last fifteen. Twenty feet of Owens fall and the first thing he thought is. Oh my God. He's GonNa land on the road and that's when I just completely lost it it just I had a definitely describe it and I feel guilty now because I don't WanNa make this about me. Because a man lost his life family lost the father and a husband and here. I'm feeling guilt for for feeling like Oh my goodness I was almost different. Part of this tragedy. We're not making it about you and you're not making it about you. We're just trying to walk through and gather some information and the story that we did not get last night and you being the person to give the best first hand account because obviously you were in there and I think what me and Dave were looking to to find out was the vibe of the company. What did you ever find out in the days and weeks to come once things kind of calm down a little bit? Why the decision was made for this show to continue or based on the fact that you were with the WWF at twenty some odd years whatever why do you think the show continued? Did the boys think it was right for the show to continue? Did anybody voice their opinion that the show should have stopped it to me no because it. It was something that was kind of talked about amongst people but it was not openly discuss. It wasn't like I mean. Like privately people questioning obviously. Why did we continue with the show? You know like you guys said earlier. In hindsight people were saying man. Maybe we should have gone with this thing. Maybe but nobody got a straight answer as to why the show continued and for you and and it's you know and I I completely understand. When something like that happens it's a whirlwind a blur like you don't remember the next know. Twenty four hours for you was just like you're probably just going through the motions when you go through a tragedy like that. I'm sure there's a lot of people that can relate to that. So that's why you know on on the on the flip side when you think about you know the wrestlers that continued to wrestle bully. I. We're talking about Jim. Ross continuing commentating. After that I. I don't know how I don't know how you can you. Can you know step into that ring? And you know and I was very honest at the beginning of the show Jimmy. I don't know if you heard it but you know for years and it's been over twenty years since this tragedy has taken place. I always thought as a fan that the show shouldn't have continued but on the understood why continued until I saw dark side during ring last night. When you hear you know Martha Heart you know show those pictures and and you see the bloodstain and you and you know that boards were broken and that was a crime scene and also Jimmy. Like knowing I mean Amana just fallen you know you know from the top of arena into the ring you know you can assume something's but you really don't know what was it. A suicide attempt was there foul play like those are questions that are usually asked when when an incident like that occurred but yet on that scene in the exact same place we had fallen. People continue to work for hours after that and those photos that were shown on that TV were taken once the show was over and the crowd at left and then in an empty venue. They took photos of the crime scene. When you look at it that way. It's almost like you know Howard even able to continue on with the show. How is how did police not come in? And Stop Them from continuing the show. It's it's really like in hindsight it's almost like an impossible thing for that show to even continue like it did no. I totally agree with that. I mean obviously I. You know when you're when you're there and working for them and sometimes you're thinking to yourself You try to make for like term. You try to make excuses. Well we didn't know at the time. Nobody knew we knew fairly quickly apparently is as you saw from. Jr you found on during the show that that Owen had passed.

"Coroner's office identified the body that was washed ashore overnight in Venice beach as Shad Gaspard or this morning Chad guys part being thirty nine years old so it looks like you know the the families getting some closure of what's been going on last twenty four hours. I guess you can consider this. Just the tiny tiny tiniest bit of positive within this entire sad horrendous situation at least the family at least his wife his children can have a little bit of closure at least they can take his body and have it you know whether he wanted to be cremated or buried whatever it was at least they can pay respect to his body and put it where he would have wanted to be. I I don't think I don't know Dave let me ask you. If a loved one ever similar situation happened to a loved one of yours would you prefer to have them back or would you prefer to not well you know. I told you off the air yesterday. Add almost the identical thing happened to my cousin. Patrick all the and you know what I am so sorry I did for no it was it was I the identical story And he helped his sister assure made sort at was safe and he got taken from the undertow and his body washed up about eighteen hours. Later and you you you. It's like you know but you don't know so you have that Just like you're in a fog where it's false hope because the you know but you just Kinda WanNa get that final word and just like my cousin who made sure that his sister was safe. Shad made sure that his son was safe. And you know that's an easy decision to make when your father you know. That's an that's an easy decision to make. And and you know he. He was definitely a man's man and I mean that in the fact that he's going to give make sure that his his son is safe before he's safe because he could have easily been saved and he wanted to make sure that his son was saved before that happened and unfortunately The lifeguards couldn't couldn't get to him first. But it's it kind of reminds me a little of what we saw last night with. Dark side of the ring in something else. That kind of choked me up watching. That show is when Jim Jim. If you saw Jim Cornet get choked up. I. I'd never seen that before you know and Jim Cornet talking about. As as Owen was falling to the ring he yelled out. Look out like He. I mean here's a man that's about to die. And probably as he was going down he probably caught Jimmy garrison his eye and he probably said look out. Think about that. I mean I'm just not sure and I'm not questioning Jim or the I'm just not. How do we know that Owen screen lookout? I mean we know that it wasn't one of the guys at ringside who saw with. Maybe maybe this may be. Maybe you're right. I mean I know Jimmy Cordeiro said he heard a scream that something was screamed and Jim. Cornet said that he had heard from several people that it was looking at. But you're right we don't know for sure but you know what if that is true and just assuming it is true that somebody that's looking out for other people knowing that that he's lost and and I think that the same thing with Shad you'll make make sure my son is okay and it's just Wow I it's just a a lot you know. Today is definitely one of those days boy. That's it's tough or maybe it's good to talk about these things. Maybe I I wanted to celebrate. Somebody like Shad Gaspard because again like we talked about at the top of the show. I I've never heard anybody say anything bad about this man so I mean that's that needs to be known that needs to you know we'll try. We'll try to get somebody on to talk about Chad because I want. I WANNA speak to somebody. That was close to him so I know more about the man Shad Gaspard. My Path and his path did not cross a lot in the world. Oppressing I knew of those guys I had met them years and years and years ago shot and jt and this just this past year doing something with House of hardcore in the EC W arena and they were there and man. I just remember seeing Chad. And it's a big bastard first of all six five just Jack to the nines and the smiles on those guys faces the hugs and the hey hey. I felt that these guys are like best friends. They just both of them. Jt an Chad just a just good brothers is we say in the wrestling business. He had sent me an email about The movie that he was been working on this passion project that he was doing and I just remember him telling Me Bubba. Please check out the open. The email check out the movie. See what I'm doing over here and I got to take one picture with him and it was me and it was. Jt G. and was shad. And it was Ron Simmons and it was Masahiro Chano and I actually posted that picture yesterday and I posted it because of the smiles on everybody's faces like everybody was genuinely happy to be in that shot and I like pictures like that because you can you can tell by the smiles weather. It's it's real or not and everybody was having a blast and that moment in time and my last memory of shot is extremely positive and extremely happy and a really really really great dude. That's it that's all I got. That's all I got. Yeah and maybe we can talk to somebody during the course of the show that can you know? Talk more about Chad. The man because you know. Let's celebrate that you know we try to do that. Here on Busted Open Bali lot legends And celebrate their careers. This is more about. I think for shad gas parts. It's not so much about his career. It's just about celebrating the man and and what he was able to do in those final moments in his life boxing culture lifestyle. The Baruch show boy mayor with a while. "So pretty information is in the way offensive word for microbial metabolism of proteins. So if your metabol- metabolism of proteins in the microbiome is higher than what we usually see then it means you're microbes are working overtime to gesture protein. So why are they jesting your protein and working so hard and what we see what we've learned is that this means that you are not digesting it. Well enough, maybe you're digesting partly. But a lot of undigested protein makes its way to the lower colon where we get your sample, and we see that your microbes are actually finishing that work. So what that tells us is that maybe there are some enzymes that you need more off. Maybe it's about the hydrochloric acid, the stomach stomach acid for efficient. They gestion of proteins, but one way or another. There's something to do with your protein digestion, which is why we see that your protein from tation score needs improvement. Meaning you have too much protein formation done by microbes instead of you. So that's one of the areas the other areas Gaspard action in that area. We have more than just the scores that we went over the sulfide, and Madonna, Genesis them, methane and s-o-f-i gases. There's ammonia gas. They're microbes are specifically known to produce gases and all together. This is. Our overall gas production score for you. And the fact that it says it needs improvement. I think that, that very well goes with what you shared with me and with recommendations that receive so, and that's, of course, part of your digestive efficiency because gas production can definitely impact some of your digestive processes. Now these three scores are actually specific pathway scores. And that's why you see these are all of the different pathways lead to methane win over some of those. So that's your methane gas production. Then you have your sulfide gas production will look at that in more detail pathways, and then you also have future seen production, pathways putrid seen just like it sounds like something putrifying. It's a byproduct of protein fermentation that is not very good for you and may be harmful if too much of it is produced. So if protein from intention is something that leads your microbes to making too much of these kinds of byproducts than you may want to do something about that. So again, you're ammonia overall wasn't too high. So that's why it's not listed here for somebody else. It may not be about Madonna Genesis at all because that's actually kind of on the rare side, but they might have a lot of ammonia gas production. We see that quite often. You. Don't have that in the high range, which is why you need improvement in these specific areas for your digestive efficiency. So again, just like inflammatory activity. There's always a specific pattern that everybody has everybody's functions. Need to be addressed in a very personalized way. It's like your own stacking of different functional blocks. And you have this one that's too much this one not enough. Everybody has a unique one. So your unique combination says that these are the five important scores that you need to address. These are the five areas, the five major digestion related functions that you need to address in order to improve your justification city. Overall microbiome score. And here we have some scores that are good. So, and we're really talked about berate, the benefits short chain fatty acid will also talk about soulstress pathways. That's a, that's a fun. One. So now back to justify chassis..
