"And I think maybe why that. So I was always interested in science and healing and I went to an engineering school in upstate New York. In the late 70s because I'm really old. And somehow, every time we do an interview, I always get the guest age out of them. And I don't try. It just comes out. Yeah, so I was a chemistry major. And I went to this school and there was a ratio of men to women of 9 to one. So that was a little overwhelming. And in reaction, my feminist spirit blossomed. And. I was looking for something that was feminist oriented and used technology in an appropriate way. My favorite book was echo topia and it talked about, you know, not everybody needs, it was a much more beautiful book. But my example was not everybody needs an electrochem opener. Great for people who need them, but everybody else can turn the knob, like technology does not have to invade everything. Yeah. So those were my two criteria and I was kind of seeking. And I realized that there was still a thing, as midwives, and it was actually the renaissance of mostly white women coming back to home birth midwifery. In the African American community, there had still been midwives and home births in some of the rural areas. But it was right around the same time that aina may gaskin published spiritual midwifery, which is one of the books that helped instigate that renaissance. So who is she in the community? So in a gaskin, started out in San Francisco and was on a caravan with a bunch of seekers they were following this guy Stephen gaskin who became her husband. And they were kind of intentional community. And prices were too high in San Francisco.

"For what cleveland then. That was a shock. That's okay they still. They still have a pretty good record. So let's finish up our cove for way fun. Podcast with some more trying to pull some positives out of the players. We we we. We identified a few like guys. I'm going to sit and listen great. That's great bucked. The trend in terms of growing or not growing right so who is still balling. Who cares who has not quit. Who is who is out there. And there's somebody to cheer for right now our team. Yeah i got one guy. The same guy said before. Wilkins i say aw is playing pretty well i like the guy his his reading is what we say like ninety ninety one right now. It's out of the atmosphere. I think gaskin for where he came from and the position that he's been put in. I think he does a pretty solid job. I mean no no blocking front You know he he is what he is he's he's put in as basically a starter. I mean you know. I mean going back to you. Know our our free agents. I mean malcolm brown. I mean seriously. That's the best you can do. We called it howard part too. Yeah exactly i you know we. We said the same exact thing. I mean you know you've got a guide basically that's comparable to howard and This is how you address the running back position this is. This is the reason. We can't pick up i nouns on third and one in fourth and one big. You don't have an offensive line and you don't have a running back that can basically create when there's not something there right You know it is what it is but we're going to stay positive so you know. I think asking his hard hard. Yeah it's it's hard to stay positive. Not you know. Slightly go negative. You know every time you talk about the team. But i think gaskin is a guy that over achieves you know for the most part because of where he came from. He's a very very solid player..

I'm not sure <Speech_Male> you're really going to get any <Silence> type of breakout from <Speech_Male> everett. <Speech_Male> That was one of the things <Speech_Male> on the preseason <Speech_Male> to disneyland <Speech_Male> everett. we're both. I mean <Speech_Male> disney's been good when <Silence> he's been healthy. He's just <Speech_Male> suffered <Speech_Male> a serious <SpeakerChange> injury. <Silence> Every single season <Speech_Male> with <Speech_Male> curtis samuel out diani <Speech_Male> brown played <Speech_Male> ninety. Three <Speech_Male> percents of the snaps <Speech_Male> didn't do much with <Speech_Male> and i <Speech_Male> just don't <SpeakerChange> really <Speech_Male> we end with this. <Speech_Male> But oh well. <Speech_Male> I melvin gordon. <Speech_Male> Devante williams both played <Speech_Male> at fifty percent of the snaps. <Speech_Male> That was interesting. <Silence> But <Speech_Male> you <Speech_Male> know the miles. Gaskin <Speech_Male> usage was really <Speech_Male> weird to me. He <Speech_Male> only ended up playing fifty <Speech_Male> four percents of the snaps <Speech_Male> but i still <Speech_Male> think he established <Speech_Male> himself as the <Speech_Male> number one guy <Speech_Male> and the dolphins <Speech_Male> only ran fifty two <Speech_Male> plays. <Speech_Male> They only gain two hundred <Speech_Male> and fifty nine total <Speech_Male> yards. They're <Speech_Male> often sucked <Speech_Male> and they came away with <Speech_Male> a win. But <Speech_Male> gaskin just <Speech_Male> really didn't get much work <Speech_Male> in the second half. <Speech_Male> yeah. I <Speech_Male> don't know. I still <Speech_Male> think it was positive <Speech_Male> for him You know he. <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> He was <Silence> the guy for them. <Speech_Male> I <Speech_Male> think <Silence> <Speech_Male> if <Speech_Male> you're judging <Speech_Male> based on how he <Speech_Male> reacted to the first <Speech_Male> preseason game <Silence> it was positive but <Speech_Male> miles <Speech_Male> gaskin last season played <Speech_Male> at least sixty five percent <Speech_Male> of the snaps in every <Silence> game that he played in <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> and savan ackman <Speech_Male> played <Speech_Male> sixty five percents <Speech_Male> and four of <Speech_Male> the other games. That <Speech_Male> gaskin didn't play <Speech_Male> out of six. <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Male> So <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> you know. He was at fifty <Silence> four percent this week. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> Nine of seventeen <Speech_Male> running back carey's <Speech_Male> five of the <Speech_Male> eight running back targets. <Speech_Male> Malcolm brown did <Speech_Male> come in near <SpeakerChange> the goal line <Silence> and a couple of points <Speech_Male> <Silence> i. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> I'm not sure he's good enough <Speech_Male> to be a must start guy <Speech_Male> without <Speech_Male> dominating work the <Speech_Male> way he did last season. <Speech_Male> I'm willing to wait. <Speech_Male> He will probably <Speech_Male> still be a top twenty <Speech_Male> running back for me this <Silence> week but <Speech_Male> it was <Silence> not <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> was not exactly <Silence> what i hope for <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> from <Speech_Male> miles to ask. <Speech_Male> They've got buffalo <Speech_Male> this <Speech_Male> week. <Speech_Male> That's for fantasy football <Speech_Music_Male> today

"Here on the gs mc fantasy football podcast for the second segment of today's show. We're gonna now recap the four o'clock games and the sunday night football game so these games i think we kind of crammed in every single game towards the end because there were a lot of games to talk about so i don't think we're going to have to worry about that as much when we're talking about the four o'clock games in the sunday night game and obviously we do the monday night preview at the end of the show Dedicate a whole segment to that. So let's get right into the four o'clock game so let's start off with the patriots and the dolphin so to a tunga vilo whip honestly didn't play that bad. Two hundred two yards one touchdown one interception and he finished with sixteen point. One eight points jalen waddled sixteen point one miles gaskin twelve point six and then on the other side nelson galore eighteen point two mac jones fifteen point two four and james white twelve point one so the dolphins i mean they really did not play that bad offensively in this game. Wada was obviously their best player. Indefinitely is going to be a how waiver wire pickup if he is available to you way he played and this is a good patriots. Defense and waddled definitely balled out in this game and devante. Parker also had a decent game for receptions. Eighty one yards mile- miles gaskin was involved in the passing game as well mike. Sickie did absolutely nothing. And honestly that's no surprise to me. This guy is such an inconsistent fantasy tied and. I don't think he's the guy that you should start in your lineup. You know unless you're super desperate. This guy is so boomer. Boston tight end. And maybe it's because i'm better because of what. He did last year to me where he had goose egg in one game. Against the jets. The guy is so inconsistent. And he's a guy that. I don't think you should starring your lineup every single week. I really don't but to definitely showed you. Something was more confident. Also at a rushing touchdown in this game he was more confident in this game. And i think that is something that a lot of people should keep in mind moving forward because against the patriots with the full capacity stadium. Really thought to was gonna falter and he was not going to have a good game and he did pretty well. I mean he didn't light up the scoreboard but he played good enough. And you know what i think. He's definitely a guy that you know can be a reliable backup on your team because you know what they have a lot of weapons and this is with our fuller willful or not playing this game because he still you know suspended and he's only gonna only gonna miss the game against the patriots now he's gonna play the rest of the year and obviously he is injury prone. So that's something to worry about. But you know what they got him. They got devante. Parker is shaky and waddell and gaskin. I mean they got they got some weapons there and it's going to be hard for two and not to succeed but played a pretty good game and you know what i expect him moving forward to continue to develop and play even better than that hopefully so now you look at the patriots i mack. Jones did pretty well. Twenty nine to thirty nine. Two hundred eighty one yards and a touchdown damian harris on the ground twenty rushes for hundred yards. James white four for twelve and johnny rauch brand bold stevenson. They rushed to but stevenson really. Didn't play roka's. He had a fumble early on. And then damian. Harris patriots are driving to go ahead and damian harris fumbles and that that was the game for the patriots and then receiving wise james white six receptions forty nine yards nelson galore by reception seventy two yards and the touchdown definitely a guy that can be flex option. Mack jones is targeting him a lot and he was making plays. Jacoby myers making plays john who was making plays. Aren't there. henrietta. Couple of receptions kendrick born really didn't do much but the one reception he had. It was a nice little play that he had their damian. Harris was involved a little bit in the passing game. Stevenson had a reception. I think moving forward Like i said i think nelson adler can be a flex option Again depending on the match up but you know he was getting targeted a decent amount. And i definitely think moving forward. He's probably the number one wide receiver for the patriots. Damian harris i think is going to be a guy that is going to get the bulk of the carries. Now i know. He fumbled at the end. But i think he is the best running back on this team. And james white is only going to be using the passing game. You had stevenson. Who fumbled and that's going to happen during the game if guy fumbles he's to get taken out and you know another guy's gonna get more opportunities i don't think. Jj tailored did nothing today. So think it's really going to be damian harris moving forward. And if that's the case. I mean i'm expecting him to have monster games. Now i'll go into my running back situation a little bit later. But i did end up. Starting damian harris over the andrea swift today and i definitely regretted that Which i will get into. I will go into more depth with that. But i think aiming harasses a guy that you know can be a good flex option can be a solid rb to but you know at times definitely struggled to run the football and you know got a touchdown called back which you know really hurt his production in that game. But you know what i think. He was pretty overall outside of the fumble. And i think moving forward. He'll be good for your team if you haven't as an rb two or if you put him as flex option i think you'll be productive at so before we get to the best game of the four o'clock games. Let's get through the bad ones. So let's start off with the giants. So top performers. For the broncos twenty point a fantasy points for the bra of sorry for melvin gordon twenty point four six for teddy bridgewater temperature. Thirteen point nine. On the other side of the giants. Twenty four point three points for sterling shepherd had a really great game daniel jones twenty one point three eight fancy points decent performance and then kenny golladay ten point four. The broncos won this game twenty seven. Thirteen giants did not play well in this game. Offensively saquon barkley awful ten rushes for twenty six yards and then is definitely something to be very concerned about moving forward if you have barclay on your team. This is a guy that i did not want to touch any my fantasy leagues. I do have him in one. But it was a four man league. And i have a ton of running backs. Jonathan taylor aaron jones and in cook. So i don't need to start saquon okay but if you have saquon on your team you should be very concerned because this giants offensive line is not good and saquon. I just he did nothing. He did nothing in this game..

"So i think that that goes into bold prediction because no one's ever done a good passing season really except tannahill marino. Yeah which is crazy. Yeah those are the two best ever so those are my predictions man. I like them so anyone any anyone that sticks out to you as being a little bit crazy or all right. I love the to one. I think i'd such an important for an awesome fun but the tool one scott. Look it sounds crazy. When you i think about it but when you realize he's going to get that extra game and you realized that today's nfl and you realize the receiving court we give them the only thing holding back as the offense exactly. That's it that is it. Those guys yelled they are really coming together. And next thing you know this'll be crazy and wattle is going to be a big part of that and fuller healthy huge part of that So those two guys and then wilson. We're we're going to be dynamic and gaskin cashing a shitload of passes from the bul. Have gone from complaining about no separation to having three is separation on every play. Is you cannot. Cover waddell wilson. Yeah in this. Life is very comfortable with those with that. Three white outset who the hell is going to cover guests..

"It's for my favorite team. It's a fun league so passed and the guys picking after me stephen smith. So here's stephen. A. got zeke and saquon barkley for started. Because i just because. I'm just yeah like he makes me nervous like as we talked about one of my chicken players like and i'm sure that was a massive mistake and i'm sure five weeks from now it'll be like what was i thinking passing on saquon for gibson but i went with my heart instead of my head. So what was your question then going now. That saquon accounted yeah. What is your one question that you still have going into the year. i think it's backfield usage right. I mean. I think we still have a lot of places i think. There's a lot of unsettled backfield usage like we just talked earlier in the show about the rams henderson and sony michelle. We don't know exactly how that's going to play out do we think. New england is all damian harris or is it more patriots stuff where we see some stevenson in there and james white as well miami and you know miles gaskin malcolm brown. How does that shake out and savant. Ahmed med does he get mixed in. We think the andrea swift is going to be the starter. And but how much does jamal williams play. We expect a legitimate role for him. Atlanta is. Mike davis the or does wayne gaughman get more work than we think. what about. what about jacksonville. Carlos hyde played a number of snaps with the first team. Like i don't think james robinson gets the same kind of volume. So what kind of volume does james robinson jacksonville. So i think there's just a lot of unsettled backfield's that i'm looking forward to seeing how the playing time plays out officially like latavius murray to atlanta and there'd be a nice compliment to mike right side of that in this moment right now mike. What's your one question. Going into the season. Well tell you one. That's not saquon barkley. 'cause i drafted him on like all of my teams this year. So you're all in on. Take one barkley in denial. He's good he's good to go right nothing to worry about. You must cringe when you heard me say gibson over. Look i love gibson to you. Know we're gonna talk more about him shortly. So i do love gibson if there was a guy you know. You're going to go that direction with fine but yeah i've taking barclay quite a bit hoping for the best there if he if he struggles. I'm going to be in trouble this season in a lot of leagues. But my big question. Mark is second year quarterback think about. I think i think we all kind of just and herbert surreal. Deal joe borough. We'll see a lot of time last season to a tunga viola as well in miami with the better supporting cast. But especially jalen hurts. Because how often do you see. Non-first round quarterbacks is franchise quarterbacks for a long time in the senate and the nfl. It's a very very short list. You could talk about russell wilson and dak prescott and tom brady and who else i mean. That's it that's basically so can jalen hurts. Be that next guy intriguing. To see the guy can run the ball so well. Low completion percentage last year but he was super aggressive which was part of the reason for that has a better as a better supporting cast needed down the stretch last season so super intrigued to see what jalen hurts. Says this season. Daniel your thoughts on your one question. Is we get to the. My one question is will miles gaskin. Be able to hold off malcolm brown enough to be more than just a flex play this season. I really love miles gaskin this year especially after everything that they did last year. he's a fantastic pass catcher. You look at what he did. The final six weeks that he was active. Use a top twenty running back every single one of those weeks. I love what this kid has and what it can bring in. This offense is gonna be much improved so from that standpoint. I think i'm just really excited to be able to see what miles gassing can do this year. Some people think he's a sleeper. We'll see malcolm brown figures to have some role miami but as we have discussed as mike told us once cream rises believed that miles gaskin will eventually be the man in miami time now for us to get to our bold calls brought to you by geico whether you rent or own geico makes it easy to bundle home and car insurance. Go to geico dot com today. And here's the premise. It's a bold call. I don't think i need to explain it but it's something that we're not necessarily certain about that. We have kind of an inkling on not something we're saying will happen but we would happen. But it's something that we think is within the realm of possibility and that we we feel strongly about so for me. Jonathan taylor the quarterback will lead the nfl in both rushing yards and rushing touchdowns helping to the teen hundred rushing yards and fifteen rushing touchdown muster season for an incredible second-year player. Wow that is bold. My bold are we reacting to you. There's just going onto our our own boat calls we should do. We should do like a spice meter right. Like how old is in. I think that's i think that's pretty spicy. 'cause i'm nervous about taylor. Buzz taylor get the same volume last year with with a healthy marlin mac and and by the way. The colts fall behind is at nine. Am hines or jonathan. Taylor another they use taylor more than the passing game. Last people expected to he is. Yeah but could they use hines. They spread it around a little bit. Like in order for him to lead the nfl in rushing yards rushing touchdowns. He's gonna need obviously a lot of volume. We no one questions the talent but does he get the volume. He needs to get there so that that would be my question. Okay you're taking on yours mine. Is we just heard my klay. Talk about jalen hurts. Mine is jalen hurts. Finishes the year as the number one quarterback in fantasy..

"Write some of the team on the season was over. They were talking to the media Armando salguero down there in Miami. There were several players. They of course, went anonymously. But there were several players talking about to a and how he didn't look good at practice and they had questions about him, etc. Etc. And then you bring in all of this Talent, which is good for him. But the offensive coordinator situation. You and I have talked about this Brian Flores changes. Oh, Sees like you change his underwear. He doesn't know what he wants to do on that side of the football first. It was O'Shea. Then it was gaily. Now, they have not one, but two offensive coordinators, cuz I guess if you can't get along with one guy tried to and maybe one of them will work out, I don't know who's calling the plays. So what's happening here is there's a lot of new right. 4 to 2 is going to learn a new playbook birth. It's been said by some of the Dolphins players on offense that this is a completely different system than what they ran last year. So this will be too, as third offense, in three years with a rookie play-caller with a bunch of new guys that he hasn't played with a ton. Right. I mean, obviously, he's got the college experience with bottle but you're bringing Fuller. I don't know about their run game. I don't know if Myles Gaskin is the guy to sit here and Rave about. And most of all, when you talk about the offensive line Greg, which you hit on, not much to add other than this. They brought in three young guys last year, they weren't good..

I in one commonality between those two. I think both of us had a good time helping. Develop the score To these podcasts. With some amazing local atlanta Studio musicians of the diamond street players which is sort of collective with Fight night we went in a really cool kind of james brown kind of gritty new york kinda funk sound and for this one it really does mimic that dusty carnival kind of like you know funhouse kind of vibe really really impressed with the way it turned out and it really is kind of a cool Cohesive piece of this show since wanted to put that out there too if you're into creepy music and The way it's incorporated into podcast. It's not overplayed. I think it's done really tastefully. And i think you guys did an excellent job of incorporating all that stuff that we worked with those guys on so kudos for that and just to kind of wrap things up guys to the process. "In crimes. Initially like my guesses. They didn't happen like an impulse relaxing. But they triggered something in pee. Wee's mind like this guy or this man or this child is is going to go down and so the plans started to churn in his mind and i feel at that point been there was no coming back from him like i. Would you know whether questions i would love to ask. Peewee. if he was still alive was hey. Did anybody walk away from betraying jawing from you. You know i mean. I think there's a couple out there that maybe he just never had a chance to get to but if he was ever able to walk back that impulsive thought that he ultimately normally acted on. There was probably a point of pride for him not to do that. Which makes more or maybe even that code is well been like you know. This is part of the code and now and this has to happen now and maybe same with other criminal like you have to set an example right like if i let this guy go and do this. What is everybody else gonna do to me. I think that's a common theme and a lot of criminal organizations. I want to give a quick example of the kinds of things that associate may be john about just so we. We have a picture. Here you you speak to someone. They market o'shea who tells a story about one like one of the schemes. Basically that he had come up with so for a time he will be working at a tobacco plantation or tobacco field and he and usually in associate would like clear all the tobacco that was stored up in a farm that had been cultivated. They cleared out of the or like take away basically to go sell it to somebody else right correct. And then they'd set the barn on fire. Correct they would make the money off of that crop but then the insurance company would pay the plantation owner the tobacco owner for that crop so it he basically doubled the money in the value of that tobacco by stealing it in an arson So you know. He's got an associate working with him on that. So if that associate goes john at a local la- same bar or something telling people about it. Then he's implicated in a serious crime so it's just a just want to give you an example there. Are there any other examples of town of the schemes that he would get up to yet. And let's use an example one of the murders. Because i think it's an hour into the names of the murder so the audience can enjoy him. But there's one murder that comes up where he basically because somebody's asked him to do a hit or at least a quiet. Somebody is a better way to put it but it turns into a murder and he brings these people with him makes them look at the dead body and basically says to him. You are now in accessory and if you go john's anybody else you're going first of all kill you. Let me just start with that. But even if for some reason you get away from the clutches. And i get you know put down. You're going down with me. Which by the way ultimately happens. So yeah he. He's he's going to tie you up all of this matt. He he's going to tie you up. Man getting outs okay pee. Wee's web no good i would. That's very gritty sequel to charlotte's web. I think they peeve raise the matic charlotte was so loving. Nice to wilbur and peewee. Oh my goodness so right now. Just in full disclosure as we are recording this interview. I don't know how the story fully ends. We're not to the last episode yet so everybody you should know that jeff did not give us give us too many spoilers. So we're listening right along with you. As as the show comes out and one of the questions that i really wanted to ask you is what lessons do do. We hope people can take from this narrative. What what can this story tell us. How can because. When i listened to this one of the things that struck me is this is this is important. This is informative. People should know the full story right of something that for many people may have just been a headline rate in their local news. So what what do you think people can take from this show and how can knowing the full breadth of this story. a how can it help authorities. How educate the public going forward. I think one of jim's children. And i just can't remember who said it right now spoke to that specifically and jim was talking to his son about this. How there are so many people especially young people out in the world. You don't know what's going on with him. It could be homeless. it could be family life. It could be an. He used a specific words. I hope it comes to me out. Layers maybe the word. He used stronger than that. And were so used again specifically this past year with the pandemic being in our bubble our kids that are close to us are loving wife or husband or aunts and uncles grandmas and grandpas that are close and our friends that are connected to that but there are so many. there's so much more going on in the communities underneath what we see that the authorities deal with but again they've got their hands full with so much going on as well so i think it's important for us to understand and maybe keep an eye out for the outliers. The people need to be brought into the world of good health and good education. And just don't know there's so many lost lives guess. Ben is a good way to put it. they're so many lost lives. And i don't mean lost like they've been killed but lost his in their walking out in the world with no guides and no love and no hands to hold them and when that happens you have a much better chance to be killed or taken or kidnapped or whatever. The violent act may be and at this point as we said before we don't want to spoil the story. It is a journey that you should take for yourself. Don't take our word for it. Check it out yourself pee. Wee gaskins was not my friend created by jeff. Kaeding episodes are available now. we like. You can't wait to hear how it ends jeff. In the meantime. I thank you so much for coming on the show today. But in the meantime what other projects are you working on either as an individual or through doghouse pictures we. We'd love to learn more about your work. I've got two more podcasts. I'm developing now. One is a cold case and the other is an international murder. Which i'm so excited to explore. I've got a feature film that i'm developing called. Follow me which is based on a critically acclaimed short story of the same name by a wonderful author named paul griner. And it's the story about a female photographer who hires a private investigator to follow her. And take pictures. But when the gig wraps the pictures don't stop and become more and more invasive and intimate relationship of diving into kind of self exploration and this world of photography and really a visual medium that.

Cruel and Unusual Punishment: Pee Wee Gaskins Sues South Carolina

"That week. We go to columbia two of our younger children and anita go to the hearing. There's no one in the room except a judge and two state attorneys and peewee with the guards who have him. Handcuffed and pee wee presents his case and is suing the state of south carolina for one million dollars for neglecting. His hemorrhoids was worried and in pain and he was seeking relief. We were there in the courtroom. I expected five feet to one inch tall really pale. Skin really black. He walked in his arms were chained to his wife's he had on ankle chains. It sounded like that scene from the ebony screwed story the ghost of christmas past rallying his change coming in the courtroom and there were two marshals one on either side of him and they looked big and burly and he didn't even come up to their shoulders but they were so nervous with him and he was smiling. I know i'm the man. And you don't know what i'm gonna do next kind of thing. It was just really fascinating. And i was shot at. How smalley was in frail looking day was so obviously nervous. Hearing only lasted a few minutes. Peewee complained that the prison officials had failed to address this repeated complaints about hemorrhoids and their inattention to his medical condition amounted to cruel and unusual punishment. "Keep in mind the dolphins For some reason a full back on the roster for most of the season last year despite being mustache chandler cox despite being schalken team for most of the year. So you wonder is is carl talker. The the back for alabama is he going to take photos four spots and all of a sudden akkhmed brown and dokes fighting for two spots. I mean i. I don't know this is kind of going to be interesting topic to see the running back room developed. I mean everybody absolutely loved welcome. Perry he was going to be the next swiss army knife for the miami dolphins offense. He played forty percent of snaps in week. Fourteen but then he dropped ten snaps in week. Sixteen and ten snaps in week. Seventeen he was another guy who was phased. Out of the offense. It's going to be an uphill battle from. I think it can be practice squad guy. But i be. I just would like a little more consistency in the group. I mean i guess the best way to prove me wrong is is the saying of. You can find running backs everywhere anywhere. So of gaskin goes down for game. Two dokes in theory should be to step right in and be the guy because it's that simple fight running back. According to some according to some. Their diamond doesn't but another thing that stood out to me. Was you mentioned the fullback. And i believe too. I think asking made four. I don't remember how many touchdowns the untold. I remember of the touchdowns at the at the goal line. Christian wilkins was in at fullback as lead blocker so that was an interesting thing. And you know. I don't know that you would keep a carl tucker on the roster occupied roster space just like you might not chandler cox when you can just throw a christian wilkins gas in there. He's more than happy to take that role. Yeah and i think that is a very good point but again in his low concerning due to the fact they kept cox. Even though wilkins using a first-round pick on fullback is a little questionable but it seemed to work out for the miami dolphins taking christian. Wilkins there I think song i round he was in but he was basically a fullback. Good point i is christian next late non-binding say because that's going to get the article. V article licks. Let's do it. Oh man that would certainly be something else. But josh before we wrap up here i i do want to say i mean aren't to a show that that kind of blew up a little bit for us. Our most downloaded show. So i just wanted to say. Thank you for everyone who's listening. I mean it's the beginning of june. We're here talking about dolphins football. We understand it be silly. Sometimes but that's kind of what makes it fun right that we can enjoy the offseason not the panicking about our favorite team using every other week. If you would like to continue this ride with us hit with sky and that helps us. Not so much Whether on itunes whether on spotify you can find just about anywhere. I'm and then you know if you wanna give us a little confidence boost if you're really enjoying the show can't a couple of seconds to lever of you that stuff out and you know people who are looking at different shows read. That's up to so you're just helping others really discovered the show. I mentioned a couple times but be should apologize on twitter at ut. I can be found at j mendel ninety four on twitter and and josh. Do you have any other final words here before we wrap up. I have one final question. But if i don't wanna be the one to bring it up. I think you should be the one but being a professional journalist. I will ask the tough questions if you make me yet. You may as well just asked me the question because we know what what's on everyone's mind i just said it. There are two of show. What is our most listened to show and at about the twenty minute mark. Josh might of passed gas. Yeah just like that. So so that's kind of kind of fits our old where something a little goofy lakes that happens. Obviously we were talking about the receiving corps. Josh made that noise. Just kind of reacting to the stephen core giving some sort of analysis about the two thousand twenty miami dolphins and i thought it was pretty good analysis But it was also pretty real sounding to save the a lot of Listeners reach that does wondering what we think. He did in the middle of pod. So thank you. It was a good chuckle. And i hope he has enjoyed that to Those lovely have the aussies that we're going to have fun with this stuff. And we hope your to josh. Do you have anything to say for yourself. I cannot believe how many people like i know. Sern mentioned it in our group chat. And then i've had people literally reach out like they were concerned for my well being and you know my career moving forward but guys out was definitely that was definitely a mouse for and it came at the perfect time with other receiving core. But if you want to say. I farted charlotte. I don't care. i mean. I'll still be here one way or the other. That is all we have for today on federative to give you guys a little. Bit of a teaser. Mandatory minicamps are june fifteenth through seventeenth. I'm say recorded on june fourth. If you don't think we can squeeze everything we can edit this offseason prepare for next week where we give you twenty headlines to foul for the weekend. That is three days long. We're gonna do it josh. We're gonna squeeze all the content out of this thing as we can. We are in guys who that is a threat as one hundred percent threat. "Dot com josh. I said it in the last show and you decided to build on it with a threat. I had to throw some shade on twitter for you at again Josh how's follow on twitter at h z for house on. I brought up the take of in the to show that we had last week. I thought that outside of air jones myles gaskin might be the best running back option. The dolphins had this offseason for a quarterback to I kinda lead on the statistics that he averaged ten yards a reception he was that was the highest mark manifesto. He was really consistent for the dolphins We've been very vocal. That i think we kind of see gaskin ceiling as a running back whether it's on the ground receiving But what. I really thought of it. I mean gaskin really seems like a good choice at running back and it just be me kinda talking myself into it. Now that he's the option. I knew posted a thread a few days ago of every myles gaskin play Last season josh. So can you walk me through a few things that stood out a little bit for the biggest thing to me. And i don't think it's talked about. Enough is the fact that myles gaskin only played in four of nine of two ton about. Lois starts last season so to think that the running back one heading into this year only played with our starting quarterback four times last year. I mean i think the dolphins went four to those six games. So i don't know that it really had that big of an impact on the dolphins from a win loss standpoint. But think know they're getting this player in there a guy that you know. We missed six games last year. They're getting him. Who in my opinion is is a lot better than what dolphin fans are making him out to be. You know your mentioned that we might be sitting here talking ourselves into myles gaskin. But i don't know that we are. I mean. he looks decisive explosive. And he's a pass catcher. I mean i don't think he was utilized enough as a pass catcher. So you mentioned through. Some of those random plays out on twitter. I do have a video. That's over thirty minutes long. Every touch from last season of myles gaskin. I think it's over. One hundred fifty place. So i will have that up to. We'll have that up on the site so you know for lack of a better word you know last year you and i were sitting here. Salve akhmed med myles gaskin. You know we were talking back and forth about which one of those guys by default. Now we're myles gaskin guys and i made a joke. You know all the time watching myles gaskin. Now my biggest takeaways. I should not have faded the mo the miami dolphins running back or myles gaskin. Because i do think that he is going to impress a lotta people. And i think he's going to show that the didn't need a devante williams. Did it needed. jk dobbins. Because i do think when the dust settles he. Is that good of a player. And i think fans are gonna be excited for what he is. I think by issue when it comes to running backs At least under chris korean bryan forbes is it. That's saturday they don't have talent. It's they don't have i mean when you look back to twenty nineteen it started. As the kenyan drake and caylin bellagio right. The dolphins then traded kenyan drake ave prayed that cannibalize work. They tried over and over again. There was the mark wall and experience. I don't wanna get in that. Long story short ryan fitzpatrick end of the year as the team's leading rusher and you see that trend go this year where Excuse me in such a last year. They bring in guys like matt brita Jordan howard two guys. Who really didn't play too much last year to spy. Getting relatively decent contracts brita only playing over twenty percent of snaps in three weeks last year zero snaps and six different weeks. Obviously the pandemic had a little bit to do with that in jordan howard. I mean he didn't even make it a. You made it not even halfway through the season with the team. So i'm excited from miles gassing him bring to the table and i think we need to really get on that bandwagon of i think When gaskins on the field. I think the us only going to be a have a positive impact on the dolphins Offense i guess in general is a good way to put it but it. It's what happens after that we saw sell vanek meta have a couple strong games last year And they signed malcolm brown and they drafted jared doke late. They still patrick laird around. He actually played in over He played fifty two staff to the dolphins one week. And that's i don't know if that's something you really want malcolm perry still floating around. He's a wide receiver running back. But i think if he is going to make the roster to better shot as a running back and then there's the jordan scarlet also around carl tucker address undrafted rookie fullback from alabama. Instead of just throwing out a lot of Named sue johnson was going to get to the point. I mean the dolphins need guys who can come up and be serviceable Not football right. It's physical everybody. You want sixteen games. But that's not necessarily how it works. I mean john. Kerry washington played nearly fifty percent of snaps in two different weeks. The dolphins he was not playing for the chiefs right you know. We talked about how we could be receiving gabbing at the end of the day. He is not what you why for. Rookie any quarterback at In that backfield. So you have any concerns about the dolphins depth when it's you know Gaskin akhmed brown. And maybe one more of those guys you might keep for running backs obviously practice squad guys. Keep people can move up and down. But i mean i would have liked them to draft a running back a little earlier. Maybe not you know. Second round third round but a fourth round guy maybe two guys in the fifth and sixth round because the depth year Is something i really started to think about talking about. Myles gaskin and and what he brings the offense last week. Yeah and i'm gonna be complaining. I sat here and said i'll much. I like myles gaskin and i hope the dolphins next year you know. Use a second round pick You know they have to. I use a another. They need to get another running back in your jacobs to your point. They brought auntie williams they brought in one of those backs. Sure you wouldn't have that uneasy feeling that if myles gaskin goes down you know who's the next guy. I do think you know we got to kind of maybe respect. What malcolm brown being a little bit more. He's going to be that the thunder to the lightning. I think he you know we got to retire. Thunder and lightning after the jordan howard and create experience. We gotta we gotta berry bat saying six feet under. We can't whatever you call them the hammer to the the hammer to the nail. I hope we got running back eight years old. I think it has made touchdowns last year jordan. Howard which maybe that says more about jordan howard. But i do think you know when you got myles gaskin Brown and then. I think dope the team. Based on just what your. I don't know if you saw any of his youtube stuff but just the guy seems like a genuine person who's going to go out there and work his ass off and do everything he can. I mean we talked about when he was drafted by the dolphins he sarah before you signed by dolphins. He said if. You don't want quarterback to get touch. Siamese so i think jerry dose is going to be that mean guy in the passing game and i think he will eventually take over that role that maybe malcolm brown forces this year but to your point. I'm absolutely petrified at this unit. And i think you know we're sitting here talking about how much we trust myles gaskin. You know we're going to post this. I'll probably get out late night and frigging todd. Gurley lady bello sign overnight and we'll be right back to square one. Well we'll just be. The people predict everything and it's important to.

"But josh there is obviously a a little bit of room for improvement especially when you look at that bills game and how everything kind of Fell apart the one interesting. No i have about the second air here when you look at the oldest guys being byron jones and eric rowe at twenty eight before bring according to his twenty three. There's a really unique gap in terms of the miami. Dolphins secondary You have someone like Exhibit howard is twenty seven and the next closest guy to in howard. If we're talking about younger players is brandon jones at twenty three. There's nobody from. Twenty six to twenty eight in the dolphins secondary. And and i think the where do you see every kind of fitting in i. Do you see any been of concern that. There's a little bit of a gap between the older guys who know what they're doing. These rookies for trip. Still trying to figure out the issue. I had last year. I mean he was behind to absolute stuns at cornerback and he wasn't going to get any chance on the field unless one of them got her. He saw that plane time to vote. He got some plays at benico. Cornerback but i mean for us to sit here and justify eggnog. Knee is a first round. Pick and you know some people strings enough have already calling a bus but for a first round pick trajectory. I mean first year second year. You see that massive jump. Does he make a push for boundary spot. Is he making a push with coleman With like nick needham. Four that cornerbacks job. Yeah and i think. That's what brian floors jailed. Alexandra been touched on wednesday. He was working more inside. You know now they learned the preliminary starting to some of that stuff on inside at nickel. You know run support and things like that so You know. I hope to see eggnog. Any kind of take that next step and try to forge his role at nickel corner. Because that would be awesome to see. And then even have that versatility to play on the perimeter But jake tear to your point you know. Do i believe there's a huge drop off between exciting howard and byron jones. Those young guys absolutely and we saw front and center in that buffalo game early on we saw you know stefan continue talking about that cross or you know we see how the defense looks when those guys are out of the lineup. And it's just not a good feeling and it makes you wonder why fans would even want to entertain an idea to train exhibit howard when you think about it you know. Then you're throwing no egg menagian there then you don't have anyone else. You don't have security blanket. So i definitely think there's concern there but i also think it goes back to what the coach said you know. Last year even byron jones took some time to get this system down. He's in there taking notes. He's trying to get better. I think those younger guys are seeing that. And i think you know. Maybe it's a good thing that got those two elite corners and i say elite because up until last year byron jones name was up there maybe obvious the consistency but he was when he was good. He was good. He was aiming howard again. I don't think would at ten receptions if it wasn't for him but you know maybe it's just me i'm giddy thinking about it because i think we just tapped into something here. You know the dolphins at two of the best corners in the nfl. And i think that they can sit here and take some these younger guys under their wing and get the best out of them. I mean that's pretty cool to see. So i don't know what's gonna ultimately happened here but i think you know. Exerting howard byron jones and then if you can get no eggnog in there that to me is one hell of a starting three and then you know you just figure out the rest of that and again. I'm not. i'm not too sure. The dolphins don't think they can plug and play at all these different positions because we've seen it in the past Bobby mccain the one guy who is returning in the secondary. He played ninety eight percent or more of snaps in nine games for the miami dolphins defense last year Over fifty percent every game. He played hundred percent of snaps and six straight games. I mean the dude was was the definition of a workhorse for the miami dolphins and then you have someone like brennan jones up. I've been one to kinda talk. Highly of him this year. about his growth. I thought he had a pretty solid rookie season. But but i saw an interesting trend where he started a he played in fifty percent of snaps in five or more games but he really dropped off near the end of the season. Twenty five percent week sixteen And twenty percent in week seventeen there were just other safeties. Getting more steps than him But when you look at this group. Josh i remember thinking pre-draft what would it be crazy. Pick for the miami dolphins to take early because you know the projections we we create. They're not always going to be one hundred percent. Things are going to have to be expected. I thought safety would be one of those picks. So i guess this whole kind of exercise here has been me working up to the question you know. Spend a third round pick on british jones. Who again was decent simple. We saw him kind of Moose's role a bit near the end of the year. I don't know if that's just kind of Based on the different personnel on the opposing side line. Or what but you have him as a third round pick of ink monogamy as the first round pick and you have holland. Here's early second round pick. I mean there's with that much capital spent in the secondary. This team has to really push the guys again. Like i said. I don't think byron jones and sabin howard are going to boozer starting jobs. I looked to see them. Start sixteen games but in order for these high top tier picks to really justify their value. I mean these guys have to be on the field. And i don't know if i necessarily see defense where all these guys are really being. Impact players with with air grow and exhibiting howard in byron jones being at a different level than than this group. A younger guys. Yeah that's a good point. I mean you can sure code all you want but let's go to what your timelines cetera with a little rundown says and you straight up you and for we're talking about this before the draft. He mentioned safety. You mentioned tight end. So you know both you because those were positions at the dolphin fan base and you know many outsiders thought were pretty much set but jake goes back to the nfl and as cliche as it sounds. It's just moving to that. Pass i league know you say here. You've got byron jones with the big contract you got examine. How are the big contract at some point. You're going to have to get rid of one of those guys and you're going to have to try to pay some your own so i don't know that we're going to have the luxury of having these two elite corners like we do right now but i'm interested to see the way it all shapes up because again if no aid monogamy can even become half the corner that the dolphins thought he was when they drafted him. You know they'll be in pretty damn good shape and it won't be so bad lose guys like a mccain or one of those other guys enter ramp up this conversation here about the secondary i wrote a story on this for the finsider and it actually some pretty good numbers. So if you'd like you get some reading whether you have a a couple of free minutes or otherwise. Go check that out. I'm not trying to say this is like a bad thing at any ways a. I'm just thinking a year or two down the road. We have to kind of decide where these good draft picks are not. i mean. The dolphins secondary is going to have to look a lot different for us to really be happy with all these picks and think. The dolphins really made the right decisions moving forward again. "A lot of them were stabbed in the others were deteriorated so badly until it was not much left to look at. Peewee gaskins killed more than a dozen people in South Carolina, including Friends, coworkers, and family members. The age of his victims used to bother me, especially the young girls, but I found her skull back up a dirt road, didn't bury her at all. He just chilled whatever he wanted to win. He wanted to. Was one of those people in this world. It felt nothing for others. Peewee manipulated one unwitting accessory into aiding him with his final murder. I'm pretty savvy. I know when I'm being manipulated. He really could con people. And I wasn't afraid of him. I don't know why I wasn't, but I wasn't. You listen to him and you mesmerized. She grew up flying where their father and a stagger wing. For most of her youth she learned to fly in tabora so at age nineteen got a private licence at twenty and she's been flying ever since she's worked for textron. Ao pa and now. She's currently the regional sales manager for the southeast for garment kelly. Thanks so much for joining us on the there. I was podcast so kelly. You have quite a hair raising story about flying your family back. In one. seventy two from gaskins white river resort on the way back to hicks airfield. You're flying. you're flying clubs one seventy two and experienced an engine failure. Yeah it was. It was definitely kind of the perfect storm of of situations because it was supposed to be a husband and my baby moon so to speak at seven months pregnant with our first child and had him in the airplane Labrador retriever in the backseats. Obviously mailo co-pilot with me. Yeah we were going to gaskins. White river resort for one last hurrah. It was a great trip really recommend going but on the way back i was over. Really ozark ozark mountains without many airports nearby and smoke in the cockpit. That was my first indication that there is something wrong. Obviously and i could tell. It was kind of an oily smell. But at that point it's just troubleshooting and making sure that i couldn't see that there is anything obvious. Obviously on fire or anything fatso. It's daytime is weather in issued is cleared a million Daytime midday without eleven noon timeframe. Okay in a about what time of years this this is november. So this is november last year. Okay great and about what altitude were you cruising it. So at that time. I was about to say it was about thirty five hundred feet. I wasn't up super high africa. Main reasons i was on fire away. I did not file a flight land as you know probably very few listeners would have this problem but when sediments fragment you probably need to stop somewhere young so we were we were kind of kind of just on an the our flight plan all away and having a good time and Joying enjoying barklay gut. It's the you had about a three hour flight or so home beautiful day. You just had a fabulous vacation with your husband. And you just kinda sauntering back really you know you're going to stop somewhere and you're up at three thousand feet which looks like maybe it's roughly a thousand feet ag l. or sos based on the terrain up there in that part of the country. And just flying back enjoying yourself until all the sudden you kind of start to smell a little bit of something in. Did you say you saw some smoke. Pretty much immediately fell the cockpit and you know when when that happens you always think through what that might look like in in just in our training figure out what your action plan is but until that happens to you. It's really startling. So the first thing i did was has started troubleshooting. Okay is it. Electrical is clearly a fire knows. I opened up the windows just to try to get some mayor his. Obviously i'm very cognizant of of what i'm reading that i'm you open. Open up the windows. He'll the cabin heat. Which is a crucial component. When it came down to it once they killed the cabin he smoke stopped so it was like okay you know. It's it smelled oil. A tell it was something like that and at that point dover might well pressure gauge and it was at zero at that point mike. My husband's a mechanical engineer. He's used overcrowded in a drone engines. Actually so he's very aware of of what that means is well. Luckily i was already talking to air traffic control since i was on the afar calling for that that type of a trip so immediately off with them and get them to try to at least for me to the closest

Patriots at Dolphins: Alain Poupart breaks down Miami's running game

"The Houston was really the only team I would say that actually through on the Patriots effectively this year and DeShaun Watson besides Russell Wilson all the way back in week two thousand. I am curious, you know, the Dolphins do they have a running game. Do you think that they can do that with because I don't see it, but I don't want to I don't want to be biased over here. Either way. I mean, there are 30 second in the league in rushing yards per attempt. They were missing their top three rushing leaders last Sunday against the Chiefs. What's a be perfectly blunt? None of them are impact players Matt breida came off the covid-19. Wednesday obviously he'll be back. When he hasn't made much of an impact after coming over from the 49ers in the in the trade Myles Gaskin is on the Cove in list and he's a nice story as a second-year seventh-round pick who laughs basically got a cup of coffee in terms of playing time this year and he basically became their feature back and he's got some ability. But in a in an Ideal World Cup gasket is your backup is now your future back in this is what the Dolphins are dealing with our offensive line. Also a good story much better than was last year. They're starting three rookies with Austin Jackson am handsome in kinloch. but when you start three rookies pretty much ninety-nine percent of the time you're going to go through some growing pains and their offensive line while again exponentially better than what last year is still not great. Let's say it's worked in like but they're not a whole lot of big old being open in the running game and you don't have running backs off will make a lot of things happen on their own. So there's a reason again there there are thirty-second in the NFL in rushing yards per attempt and complicating matters. This week is they have injury issue is that wide receiver position where they also have a lot of players but not a whole lot of impact players. So you mentioned might get sick you earlier I believe and now he's got a shoulder injury where we can't get any Clarity from Ryan Flores as to his status for this week. It's all we'll see is working on all that. But if you saw the injury really really hard to Envision him playing cards Devante Port Parker pulled a hamstring or had a hamstring injury against the Chiefs you came out in the first app did not return. He practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, so hopefully play it but then if he plays this carrying a hamstring injury. And then so who else do you have left after that now you're looking at your team Grant who is more of a return specialist and and then their shuttle pass receiver gadget Play type of player on offense. He's also got a hamstring injury that knocked him out of Chiefs game. And then the rest of the wide receiver Corps is rookie limbo Junior who played multiple positions at Kentucky. You have a Mack Hollins who want to sign as a special-teams standout, which he is. He's very going to special teams but more so than the receiver and then you have one of the guys being talked up being able to make a major contribution as Isaiah Ford who you may remember from his three weeks with the Patriots after the acquired immune to trade in his office. I knew he was he didn't play it down for the Patriots. I knew how long is not going to last year when he got up here and he said it is freezing. I need a winter coat, you know, what am I going to do? And I just said look, I'm sure he's a fine football player. I'm sure he could make an impact on the team that needs wide receiver help but this guy does not seem like he wants to be in New England right now. Well, no, but he plays at Virginia Tech. So I'm so he's not like dead. He's from Jacksonville plant in Virginia tag, so it's not like he's not he's never been the call before and the thing about Isaiah Ford and then it was often friends are thinking. Well, Isaiah Ford is going to come and rescue the the passing game and that like life. He's a really really really nice good. And he might be in the league for ten years because he's got a great attitude. He works hard doesn't see anything. He's not an impact player. And right now this is what they have their wide receiver Corps. If she doesn't play they have nobody who's going to really scare the Patriots defense and if you you throughout the city also doesn't play. I mean who makes things happen on this office on Sunday? So that that's a big

Tua Tagovailoa vs. Belichick's Defense: A Challenge

"Get into the Dolphins. Now we have to start with to Greg. I watched him last week and I see a number of very good things from him, you know, the answer the anticipatory throws is great anticipation is accurate and he's really smart and you know football IQ is through the roof when you see him, he's diagnosing what the defense is doing and the first time around you might surprise him. It's very difficult to surprise in the second or third time around very smart guy doesn't have the strongest arm in the world, but he can move around in the pocket a little bit and he's got enough Armstrong. Had a downfield but I mostly pay attention to his accuracy his anticipation in his intelligence. I think that's what would separate too from some of the other younger quarterbacks that we've seen come into the league and so it's fascinating Greg this matchup. I remember we talked about the Justin Herbert matchup Belichick's record his resume against rookie quarterbacks or even just your quarterbacks first time in so we're going to have to who was very football Savvy and has a high football iQ going against Bill Belichick who of course has the Mind against rookie quarterbacks wage. What do you make of to his game in? What do you think the Patriots will try to do on Sunday to Rattle him. I'm looking at I thought you did a great job with your Scouting Report. I thought you know what I agreed on all those points, especially, you know, I think where he shows off to me is the football like you he he sometimes he will hang on to a play a little bit too long. I think that's probably a place. Where they've been working with him, he did that a couple of times against Kansas City, you know, but largely had a feel for what's going on. He knows how to get rid of the ball. I think Chan gailey's done a real nice job with him sort of slowly bringing him along and you know, yes, everybody's going to talk about Bill Belichick and his record against rookie quarterbacks, you know, but one thing you have to keep in my practice, you know, this is this is a rookie quarterback with Brian Flores, you know next to him who's so I assume Brian all week is showing him all Patriots film and say look, this is what they're going to do to you. This is this is what we would do to everybody. These are going to be the calls whatever you see don't trust your eyes before the snap. There's always going to be somebody dropping there's going to be they're going to be doing this song. I think that's going to be a huge asset for them. I think that Ted Karras at Center is going to be a huge asset for them cuz he knows how the Patriots, you know like to pressure cuz he's been here for so long. The Patriots know his weaknesses. Teddy's a pretty good pass protector. He struggles more in the Run game. But I do think you'll see the Patriots try to try to get him to move his feet side-to-side off a little bit slow. So I think you know targeting him with some t e stunts inside and things like that might generate some pressure. But yeah, I think I think that too is pretty good job to see if guys like DeVante Parker and get sick e who who, you know, we're beat up in the last game, you know, whether they'll be able to play because your talent talking about some really talented guys there. I mean God, I can't believe how far gesicki the tight end has come and I know Belichick basically called him a big wide receiver this week, which I think is accurate but he's damn good at what he does in a mash-up. Yeah and the one question and you know, we'll get into our picks and a little bit before we get this n'keal Harry thing you want to talk about and of course we still have the member question of the day on this pod. But you know the weapons right for Miami, we we talked about the weapons about the Patriots all the time. But when you look at the weapons of Miami, I think last week I saw something that too was down at one point in that game. He was down his top six receivers. So including Titan including tight end. So if you know if Grant is out if Parker is out if they're just you know off 60% if you know kasicki is out Myles Gaskin was on the covid-19 this last weekend, that's their guy who they've been running the football with what is it Ahmed salvano salvano, may I forget which way it goes his name, but he's the other running back on the roster. He's been dinged up. So this is a team if they're banged up. I don't know what they can do offensively. I mean, I like to a long shot, but the one thing that jumped out at me watching that Kansas City game and maybe it's just because Kansas City is so full of explosiveness and speed but the one thing that jumped out at me watching the Dolphins offense It's Not Dead. Dynamic like say they don't have explosion and DeVante Parker could be that guy at times but he's been banged up. He's got a hammy so I don't know if he's going to play but they lack if there's one thing they need to add immediately to that Miami offense to help to a is somebody who can be

I am no dendrobium experts so I called on somebody who is to answer this question. Manosque ANALYSIS IS THE CO author of book growing orchids at home along with another orchid expert. Peter White so he was just the person meads speak to thankfully Manas was on hand to answer all Gaskins dendrobium queries. And then some are GonNa see three questions here. The basically the dribble what we're looking at is the drug of nobility which is native to Southeast East Asia and it is often referred as a cool growing in boom which is not doesn't do doctors in that it doesn't really need cool temperatures. But it's kind of spacey kind of special because it is one of the few calm only sold or kids that has a distinct growing unrest phase. It's going phase starts when you see buds on the gains in the rest phase stotts when the new gains have reached almost the height of the old canes their best boat late spring about. Now it's arrest and growing phase coincides with them with the nobody with a here now so I can see city questions that need to be honest from from paragraph. So the first question is what these stumps these dumps. In fact cut of games. The plant didn't need a one that say these case cut off but grow did cut them off so the blunt looks prettier for somebody to bite. Which these second question do you need to cut off the gains of the end of the Florence. No because they are used as reservoirs for nutrients and would that feed the new cades when the plan does need these old gains it will become crinkly yellow and then you can cut them off. It's not like offices which is unique in that. It Kennedy Flower on the same stem. These a flower. Normally it would just stop a move to the new gains but as they do not got the old game. I think this is where I've fallen down with this plant in the past because I in my ignorance of this plot have have cut off those stems before they sent me before they've gone completely yellow and Brinkley and as a result I've I was doing the right thing but obviously I wasn't and you end up with kind of an unbalanced ugly looking plan as well grow can do this because in the nursery does that. He's doing just before shows blunt. But he's doing it because in in your house you have perfect. Conditions was at home. The blood is not in ideal conditions. Most of the time so taking away it's Bui- Wa Shales nutrients in what is it. Makes it much more difficult for it to show? Its best left of left on the left with the plan until the plan tells you does need. I'm I guess this is. Why if you grow a few follow ups all kids you have to understand that the dendrobium Zarb different because that flowering style is quite different. They don't fly off from the same in the same way. Do they? Sort of flying from the side of the stag with a very short flowering stem as opposed to that long one get. We found offices years. There is different than two or three ways from other orchids. And as soon as you realize that most of the darkest got two or three significant but as if you only differences than the very to grow one is you know one or two key things. The key for this one is an interest and a glowing period joining address. You keep it cool in cool bright dry conditions Jewish growing face you know what orchid the key to eight was you do this L. Thrive. It's not difficult to grow at home now. The third question w dividing the Bronx leads at the bottom and a difficult one to answer. It's basically that says yes. No these orchid if it's not given a proper rest videoed develop not bronze. Let's they're called chi-chi's new plantlets on the canes if it does so these are best sprayed with some water will. Miss missed it and win the have enough road full five a couple of inches in length either be snapped off and then all put together in small report and you have a new plan but on this case in this picture this is not. Lebron's lead it doesn't look like a is. It just looked looks like a new cane. Orchid looks that it could do with reporting and now it is that I tend to report it all the way until the end of June. So it is best reported in a weaponry party is good to take a little bit of also dog from the bottom of the boat and boot the audit into its new book which should be only slightly bigger a little bit deeper. These huge go into into the bar. So if you really really wanted you cool take that bit off. But it's risky and you have to ask why the best thing is to be less with planned so you end up with a big stronger thriving blunt and what is the best mix to use with the dendrobium is it just like kind. Classic orchid bog just simply bought a don't balk based or anything called compost. You Know Eh isn't a very and you do. Not because they have long games a lot of people feel they need to put him in a big. But the problem with this is that it's not easy to keep it on the very dry Jimmy. It's rest period. So if need be for weight you could put a couple of Februaries in the but the best to just every time you just slightly at the best the next size up in terms of thought so the nets sized book on. I know that I say it. It looks a little bit too big for its board. But that's what it needs to do to do and say just balk which will enable enabled the grower to keep it on the on the dry side during rest field watering these kids. I mean is there any special requirements? Here judy is growing face You what you keep it moist but not overly wet. You can use hardwood that it's easy but it's good at least from time to time to use a rainwater always luke warm temperatures and it was. The new. Gains was the end of the season growing cheese on Wednesday new case of the the height. Alsi availed gains than you. Keep it on the dry side very little water from time to time with Chevy Mistake. So doesn't get bone dry and deal. You see a new buds appearing on the new gains. The new gains also good to be stoked will be supported otherwise can just fold over all or the garden grow. Not Straight okay. That makes sense. Well that's helped me. Also because I've I've got a couple of little Katie's or might dendrobium which I have. I have to say already removed without really checking what I was supposedly but removed them and they were glass of water in the minutes. Must pop those up there quite small but they have got decent read some them so they can just go into one newport with market bark and hopefully they'll go next year with the oxy skype is is you can just snap them off the gain of the boom rather than a cover to cut off a little bit of this time as you have to do with the with the front office and then. Yes dorothy three together with them on on a very small against the Mita in Bach and and not too much watering at the START STUCCO FLEETS. And then you'll have a and what about this worry that people have the they're all kids in see through. Pulse is not true because I can't seem to come from the nursery and report to. We need to look for seats. Report Oral Paik once. Okay very good question. A book is good because you see the system village focusing the size especially Clear all else equal is a good thing. I clear poured for not only for August for plotted plants as well because I can see the roots but it is not necessary to grow or what is essential in a boat. The guarding orchids is that it has good. Greenwich has blend your host closer to drain or kids especially for an obvious need to drain and dry well. Between what the other thing. Also which is the secret is easy. Key is don't even have a dome even clear participation it the Dome it is definitely made for orchids because no The plan needs that kind of special boot so there are clear thoughts in the market. Which frankly not really good for you. Because they don't have good Greenwich as long as the pot has very good grant. A lot of big holes at the bottom is good for orchids. The all clear is better because you also she system in the roots This House is when you say talk about the Dome is the Boston. Part isn't flat. It's got a raise section which presumably is increasing surface area for more act coming in the menu holes at the bottom of the foot. Give it good drellich than dome is mostly for Asia. The center of the if you think about it is basically a niche may be a neat and a half from the what whereas in innumerable port. It's still possible to have inches away from

Apple iPhone 2018 series dummy units leaked, reveal all three variants

"I love using it whenever I can. I, I'm always hoping I can use it more places. Another thing apple that apple mentioned during this earnings results call is finally CBS is going to allow Apple Pay. If you remember way back when they disabled it in favor of the now failed current see. Payments platform. So they're going to be opening that up. And apple continues to work to expand and grow. Apple Pay. Sounds like it's paying off for them. And then lastly, another thing paying off in this quarter. We've mentioned services. Part of that is apple music. Fifty million apple music listeners. Now they say across both paid subscriptions and free trials. And as a matter of fact, revenues on apple music grew fifty percent over this past quarter. So apple continuing to expand rapidly on apple music, and that's a significant contributor to their services revenue. And I have to imagine once they launch this video service sometime in twenty nineteen, that is going to be a nother leapfrog for services, and I look forward to seeing that happen but overall fabulous quarter for apple. Third quarter of twenty eighteen much better. Better than I thought they were gonna do. Although they did note, it was in some of the numbers a little bit lower than what Wall Street was expecting. So we'll have to see and watch what this does to the straw stock price. But I think you know, with these kind of numbers, Apple's going to be just fine. As we get closer to the fall, we are getting more and more details about this year's iphone lineup. It's starting to solidify at this point. We're at that magic place where we're a few months from the announcement and that means we're getting stronger leaks and indications coming out of the supply chain. Yes, Tim cook says, don't trust the supply chain. But as we get closer to actual announcement launch date, it starts to become a little bit more believable. And this time around this week, apple leaker Benjamin Gaskin who's been pretty accurate with a lot of his leaks in the past. He posted some images of dummy units of the new iphones to his Twitter account, and it seemingly confirms the three sizes that we've already been talking about three sizes, three models, the to lead models, five point, eight inch, replacing the current iphone ten in a new larger six point. Five inch iphone ten model and then the lower cost really mid range priced six point, one inch LCD model. It does show the six point five inch version with a two limbs camera. Not a three lens camera. There had been some rumors out there that there may be a third lens added in there. Although it was debatable a lot of the images. It just looked like it was the LED flash, what's which sits in the middle, that a lot of people were trying to call the third lens. So expect that to be a two lens camera system just like in the five point, eight inch model and then a few more details on the six point, one inch model, it's believed that it will have an aluminum frame instead of a steel frame in these are all things to kind of reduce the cost to the production costs can be that lower priced model. So St. aluminum frame instead of steel. We've already heard the rumors that it may not have three touch on the display. Also, it will have just a single lens camera, and it may be the only model that will come in colors. So I don't know if that means it's meant to replace the iphone SE. Something that was noted in the quarterly results call was that the iphone SE isn't quite selling as well as apple would like anymore..
