At the Masters, Lee Elder Gets Another Moment in the Spotlight
"For more now on round one at the eighty fifth masters. We welcome in jimmy roberts. The voice of masters digital koi here in the opening round of eighty fifth masters. Let's let's start where it started on thursday morning. The elder joins jack nicklaus gary player as an honorary starter. And of course he broke the participant color barrier here at augusta national. What's the significance of what happened. This morning i was really moved. I mean i have been to that. Honorary starter ceremony. Going all the way back to gene. Sarazen and sam snead doing it. Lots of times these rituals. I don't wanna say they're hollow but they don't grab you this morning. Did you know it was you. could you know. I don't wanna be overly dramatic but you could see it in his eyes. You know how how much this meant to lee elder and you know looking at him. It made you think back to what he had endured. And what it must have meant to be a black man in georgia in nineteen seventy five and to be the first you know and and it it just made you think about. What did that feel like you know in the significance was just so

"To make tea time. Reservations. Just go online at golf. The star. Dot com. A better golf segment. Swing doctor. Ah lot of accomplished players, including many tour players, Move the ball back to the trail foot on shorter pitch shots in their stance that ball so if there are right handed player the ball is even with the right big toe. Why did they do that? And what do you think about that? Well, the main reason that they do it on we should do it is to ensure good, crisp contact on the shots. I mean, with the more lost it, Which is that we have today. You can you can do that and still get enough effective loft for the shot. Where years ago you had to kind of play a little bit more forward in order to get the ball up in the air on get the same result. When done properly. You get that that hit hop stop shot. You know that You hit the thing, and then it's a green again. Don't don't stop to skips in a stop right? And and then I mean technicality of the shot that the technical aspects is just it's our underhanded throwing motion. It's the epitome of the underhanded throwing motion. Just swing the club back and swing through is if you were Tossing a ball under hand toward the hole. No. Some of this Is an optical illusion. Because the stances narrowed for this little shot. And moving the ball back off the back. Foot does not really moving that much. I mean because of the narrow stance. What looks like the backto the back in the big tower on the back foot is actually pretty close to being off the inside of the front heel. If you stand there and don't move your front foot and don't move the ball. And move your back foot back to a normal with stance. You'll see that the ball still up front toward toward the left heel, so You don't want it. You don't want it? Because you think you've moved it back. You don't want to start. You know you get an urge. Sometimes, Tio. Shock down on top of it, because it's back there, and you don't want that. It's just your hands forward and just throw it toward the hole and you'll be put in for a lot of bars. Yeah, it's interesting. And also it kind of ensures when you got the ball a bit further back. Her stands to have your hands lead the club face through that shot, No scoop Penis to it, and that's ah. Also results in some cleaner contact. Would you agree with that? Yes, sir. Absolutely. Okay, Michael. We see Tour professionals be such great players out of bunkers on the sand. What's the most common mistake that less accomplished players make when playing from greenside bunkers? Uh, well out of it is there set up? You know the play the ball too far back in their stand. The Parker. They won't They won't open the club face up enough to be able to use the bounce of the golf club to get that ball to slash the stand up and out. They're so what happens is you open up your stance and you open up the club face. Most people forget about the proposition because once you turn your body and turn your stand in the back of your stands Trying to enter the sand before the golf ball. It becomes a little bit more difficult to do that. So just be a really aware of your body. Position it more in the middle of your stance when you open up that stands aware of where the ball is. Between your feet. They're on them when you dig in a little bit. You know you're already there. You're just trying to, you know, swing through and flash the stand and have a nice little follow through. A lot of people in the golf swing in there in the bunkers will stop their dog sling as well or slow down as they get into the sand. You have to keep your speed up a cz. You go through through the sand to keep that going and get that sand. Fill that ball on the green for you. Yeah, you know, Gary Player, one of the greatest bunker players of all time said that it was like fruits like striking a match. That's what you wanna do. You wanna, you know, get it all the way through and kind of keep it moving. On those bunker shots. Oh, absolutely. I think Michael gave a great analogy, Agreed image there. Think about throwing sand out of the bunker. The ball comes out on the cushion of sand, but you've got to throw the sand out of the bunker that you know people chop. Get it to four back like Michael said, and they chopped down on it. And they don't follow. They don't They don't keep the club going so the sand that they hit it. Only moved 2 FT in front of him, and yeah, that's that's absolutely true. You don't get in. Just get in the practice bunker with no balls and practice throwing sand out of that bunker. I mean, hit. The thing you wanted found always talks about that slap that slapping sounds. But throw sand out of the bunker. The ball comes out on the cushion. Fancy you when you hit a good bunker say you always hear a thump and a kind of thing. We had to stop it their world of golf segment to grab bag coming up next on the swing Doctor. New stock, 11 30 W. Mookie Betts makes history with another 3-home run game
"So mookie betts last. Night Raby. Three homers Ford does in a game for the sixth time in his career Johnny. Sammy Sosa the only other players do that and movie didn't in a thousand fewer games basically in Mayes and fifteen hundred fewer than So when you look our call you red sox fan but you grew up there for goodness sakes and you see mookie bats, the red sox traded away it off to a start like this and avenue another three homer game. What do you think? Well I. Think it happens on the same day that the red sox give up seventeen runs and look at a single late in the Celtics and Bruins I think both lost and the Patriots are going to start a season without Tom Brady I think this is I think this is a reminder of the come up in Boston sports fans are are about to have to deal with and the next few years now I mean look it's It's a tough pill to swallow for red SOx nation to know that. One of the transformational players of his generation in an era when Mike Trout is playing mu batches is going to be in the conversation. You know there's there's a Jack Nicklaus Arnold. Palmer. Gary Player. There's the Tiger Woods Phil. Mickelson for Awhile, David Duval conversation. I, mean my child's GonNa. Have you know mookie Betts in Clayton Kershaw and that's what this group is going to be about and to know that he was once part of your franchise and now he's not and a franchise paid him a lot of money and you believe your franchise and was capable of doing the same. For those that are moving in dying with the Red Sox I know it sucks. It really really does it's It's just a it's just a reminder and he's got to be that guy we all grew up with them that. Whatever he does he does to a level that few others can do it. So the three six times you know that's the same guy that has four. That's the same guy that bowls three hundred games. He does those things and and there'll be no surprise. You know when he wins more world series wins MVP's that's that guy he's the guy we all grew up with he's just doing it at the highest athletic level.

"And I I cannot confirm or deny that he is on CBS taking CBD or anything. But we saw Phil take a Turkey paster to his tongue at one point. I don't know what that was. But I don't think it was koffler. But yeah, it's supposed to just kind of relieving Zayed's. Maybe it helps with the nerves when you play golf. Maybe we should try it. I don't know. Maybe we need a CD sponsor or something like that. But. For for the for the listeners. Sometimes I'll give a little a little warning the cave on what we're gonna tear up for Gary Player. I gave no warning on anything this week. So the motor oil have no air did not see that coming. I was saying before I wanted to be happy being a top ten player in the world at anything. I think maybe I'm sneaking the top tens of Gary Player impressionist on. Maybe maybe Connor Scatcherd. I dunno. Where drank exactly, but I think I'm somewhere. That's the best Gary Player impersonator on this podcast for sure. So that is fabulous. So proud Kate. Thanks for jumping on this morning in helping us kind of put this historic moment golf. I have no problem saying that may be obvious. But this moment into perspective for us. And makes me feel even better about all the things I was feeling internally about what we just witnessed. So you know, what? Sometimes sports saw we get to experience just really cool ship. And I. Will be forever sort of thankful for all the fun sort of conversations that we've had about tiger. That was sort of building up to that masters because it made it all the more worth it. Because really like everyone everywhere was having those same conversations about tiger in in some ways. Like, we're almost like traffic cops directing that we're goes in. So whether it was humorous or silly, or whatever all the payoff was there. And I I it's hard to it's weird to be happy for someone. You don't know. Like, I've I've talked tiger in press conferences of, you know, aside, certainly don't know him like, but a wheels really happy for him in that moment. It was just kind of a cool thing. And that's why it's sports is undefeated, man. You just can't you can't can't be as the best. I'm glad that this is my life. If you had to guess what line? I'm going to end this with what line? I would choose. What it what would you guess, can you guess it? Oh, man. What's the one question? I've been asking our group text for years and years and years. But what if we won? But what if he warned? A new one now. Where am I to say that what every day until he went to the one God what you said that when he played in the Bahamas right for the first. Yes. So it was like that's why. He does spend the Elvis a ride gave me. Thanks time in cheers, always Always. buddy. Feeder right club today. That's better than most. About in is better than most. "Obviously taken out do a lot of hoops coming up four o'clock hour. So what about thirty four eastern one Pacific? The games were either. Great or they were horrendous. Oh. Oh, wow. All right. Donald like, the raptors. I mean, they'll get I'm surprised they lost the first game. They're going to win that series. But or the nuggets gonna win Spurs on the Friday. No, I don't know. You know, there's a lot of things that have been nets with a big win there. So that I thought we both thought that would be a deep series anyway. The Sixers and six or seven let's see him beat on the phone on the bench. Clamps? Embiid is banged up. He's hurt that was one and Ben Simmons when you when you have when they play slow. Yeah. His inability to shoot is glaring. It is he's he's an athlete. He can score in transition. Transition if he's got to play in the half court. They they're not good. Is they're not gonna win. If they have to play that way. This agree. Got inbounds out of bounds. Coming up, obviously football the forties as well. But today's all about Tiger Woods Saigo. Woo. Woo. We'll get colds. I think really the two things that jump out to me and one of them. I said is know the comparisons to Jack in eighty six I get it yet. No doubt. I understand why people would say that. But I guess looking back and doing some research and knowing where he was at that place and. To me. It was really just the unexpected renaissance of a seemingly if finishing felt like a crown to put on an unbelievable career. Correct. Right. And then that was it go go to the tent whatever it was called. Then the now senior tour champion. I think it's the champion now or so go to the events by the way, but he still played by symbolic. This is your last way. Also fantastic send you out to you know, they all hit. And this doesn't feel like no, no, no Tigers. Just getting started Tigers gonna absolutely bang a few more winds into the right column. The other thing that jumps out. And I understand why we have to get to trust me. I do. But I think it's a real disservice to automatically jump to candy now catch Jack because I think when you do that, you know, we're twenty seven minutes into the show, and we we reference it because you have to, but we certainly haven't expanded on it, which eventually we might where we will. But to do that so quickly. I just feel like you really you more generalized, the accomplishment agreed to microwave let this will linger for a little bit not worrying about you. I hear you. But people want to advance the story not his forget Jack for second there. Four more three more this year. You think he wins another one this year? Do this year. This year. I do he's played at Bethpage PGA championship. In may that he's got Pebble Beach for the US open. And where's the open championship this year? I'm honestly, not sure that Royal Birkdale. We're going to look that up. Yeah. That's the one that never jumps off your head. I always say Andrews. Where we playing this year. Where is it? The rotate exactly what part of Europe. It's in diesel is going to look that up. He's got it. But he got the party. You'll moss the cell. What do you have your boss? It's in Northern Ireland still looking at the court on how people okay have a pint with my people, my people. All right. Portrush? That sounds. Let's say never heard that. They played it there before. But I can't imagine. It's the first go round the indoctrination. I'm sure they've had have they had other. Seed me a bts look at each other. Have the head other events there. I honestly haven't heard that too often sell check it out for me. You'll must sell Jimmy. What's up, buddy? You're in Virginia. How are you today? Jim. Oh, hey, how's it going actually Massachusetts? But that's an easy one. Mix up north West Virginia. That was that was United fault. Go ahead. Woods and his red outfit Sunday final grouping masters. I mean, how many people in me? I mean if. Yeah, if you go back to twenty eighteen right? The PGA championship using Mexico's capita. And then you go to the open championship in that final. Parents molin. Ari? And then we fast forward to twenty nine. Molinari again, and you look at the front nine Molinaro. It was so cold throws. I seven eight holes dry during those five to six foot. Par putts. You know what I mean? Going to be mistake free and target is going to have to make up strokes. Tiger is going to be the one to go under. Oh. Oh my God. You know what I mean? Of course, it's enticing. Twelve. Seventy seventy one, but it opened up the door for tiger. And he had a play yet to play nice down the stretch, of course. And again was just like in the PGA Capcom misses that putt on the eighteenth where tiger would have to make a par and the doors wide open for tiger. And you know, just hint seeing him walk up the eighteen th grand without ovation. And I I didn't know forever going to see that again. I hear you. And you're right. You gotta let it sink in. Because we we can't underestimate how big of a deal that says James, we're not we're stressing it, and we're really trying to avoid falling into that trap. It's easy to fall into. But I don't think we've done that. And we won't you know, it's it's about Mike Tyson right better, the falls from grace, and, you know, whether it's biting off Holyfield's ear or just turning into a raving lunatic or not being prepared a little thick and not ready for Buster, Douglas, whatever he never came back with the because the roar though BT because it's really the only sport where you can boxing. You get punched out a little bit. Forget it. It's a wrap. George Foreman notwithstanding. We took what decade offer. So for came back. But he was heavy. Just wasn't George Foreman. Yeah. That was different. I mean, it was one of three belts. So it is what it is the same thing in baseball like baseball. You're not going to have a renaissance after three or four years, and you're not gonna have that impact to keep you around. Maybe tennis. Maybe tennis had a few Jimmy Connors did pretty well. I think in his forty maybe you know, I don't want to get down the road. I'm not overly football quarterbacks. You might be able to do that. Peyton Manning is one that jumps to mind simply because of the severity of his neck injury up. We had the surgery Joe, Montana, buddy. Champion. She'll. So it's it's really it's rare that you can find this. So the example you have to champion. By the way, Royal Portrush hosted the open championship in nineteen fifty one. Okay. It's the oldest of the golf's major which is obviously the oldest championship. And it's the only one not held on the island of Great Britain. Really fifty one Gary Player or was that an already it wouldn't have been Jack in nineteen fifty one Gary Player. Let's go back and find eighty three. Gary Player for sure I mean, Jack started winning in the early sixties true. Could have been Gary Player was it. Sam snead. I don't know. I'm just throwing out names. Now, I don't know act. You know? Wow. What a. I wish that response was on TV last hosted nineteen fifty one nineteen fifty one why the weight on their folk there. Matt never heard of Max's father won his only major title in the rain two strokes of head of the runner up in Tonio, sir. I heard him either but relatively nondescript debut. Royal what ports port port rush Portrush. Nineteen fifty one Bill moss to sell with the info, they're not a huge gal fan these so you and I talked about this. When TC was out. Did you get into it? I was actually with a large group of people who weren't all golfing. All huddled around didn't take our eyes off the TV, and a few tears shed nontraditional Goffin's, I was into the human interest -sego the human interest side of it is wig catches, your Nance was was tearing up in Butler gap in you. And by the way, I know who can can the low amateur dude come on. You don't need to go back to Oklahoma state. And you know, Patrick green put the jacket on and bounce gymnast and tiger. Oh, come please, everybody else leaves history though, man history. You want to be a part of your. Say was there when I was there when I couldn't I was laughing to forget the gentleman's name the chairman of Augusta who who played there's an amateur few times himself where he c-. No, patrick. You've been such a great champion. I'm thinking did he realize that basically the entire Ryder Cup team aided? Patrick great. Yeah. Forget that Patrick rates career, but I couldn't help. But laugh at them like this poor kid. You know, what it amazing moment for him? But it was just there was incredible. I just I don't know. I don't know what what's next that's gonna come close to this. And again, Fred Ridley Ridley their y'all stripped down, you know, the Yankees with championship in ninety six. Of course. I mean, that's the way my per t- moments anything that I don't have a rooted vested in and I am it's become a tiger fan. And it's funny. If you just started listening to the show or watching us a year ago or maybe two years ago, we'll probably two years ago. You would think that tiger apologised. I was burying Tiger Woods for years burying him burying him. But I like the redemptive story, especially you want to call me a sucker for buying it on the on naive. Yeah. That's great. Okay. The power of the human spirit. I think it's real no, I hear you. But a lot of people think Tigers put on an act now. I don't believe I think. You his daddy. To get back to you know, he did not yet. I wrote him probably. Yeah. I wrote them landed last night. It was late like ten o'clock. But Joe has told me tiger. It used to be that way where he worked for tiger tiger. What he was not a good, dude. All the time. He's not that way anymore. I you know, I see it. And I think that if people don't if that's fine. If you don't like tiger again, I started this job. I'm not here to convince you, but I would challenge you as we get ready for the update here with that. I I would challenge you, you know, if you can at least acknowledge that that somebody's seemingly, and I believe in sodas, my partner really completely changed their life the way, they treat people where they interact with people the way, they just the way they do they live if you can't buy that. Then I kind of feel sorry for you kind of do people involved you're going to have a bad day. And you're don't want some people to believe that you can change. And you know, they might not be there to believe that for you eight five five two one two. Forty-two twenty-seven inbounds out of bounds after rack coop. Stop the our more.

"Yes. I don't this quickly. I'm good. I'm good. So by the way, just to keep people abreast of the situation in the room. Michael currently watching the opening ceremonies of the masters with all the old dudes getting they hit a driver. They they hit driver for a while. And then by the way, all of that county Gary Player can still hit at one eighty two pumps it. Yeah. Jerry players the strongest eighty three year old man in the world the competition for for these three guys trying to out drive each other and hit the fairies. That's everything you Tom Watson can hit it to thirty still. I bet he can to fifty looks like a jar mustard in the outfit that he's is. He wearing all yellow area brand. After spending seven years in the Ecuadorian embassy in London. They finally said you've got to go, and we'll get into why exactly that. Well, we'll tell you watching this on the today show. Yeah, they are carrying Julian Assange out. He did not look happy that he looked fat. I mean, he's been in that could bring embassy for seven years leaving apparently making an appearance on a balcony. Yeah. To make statements leave. Okay. So what what was said by the car sponde- int- in London for NBC news. And I think I got this. Right. A couple of things stood out to me was they got tired of his music the music. He was playing and they got tired of his cat. Yes. They got this cat. So get rid of the cat. They should've just tuned into this show. They wouldn't hurt them. You. That's right. And they carried him out. And he did not look happy because he knew his as he walked outside news with outside. He would be rested which immediately was one of the big house Brits arrest needs. Harry's by the way back. Yes. The parents that doesn't look any. Maybe he looked when he hit the big. He's looks like she's ninety doesn't look anything. Well, it's been a tough seven years. I'm sure he doesn't look anything like when Benedict Cumberbatch portrayed him in the movie anything like no correction, dad. Sorry to interrupt Watson. You're thinking of the par-three pairings yesterday. Just Nicklaus player. Okay. Not Tom Watson. Let's not old enough looks resplendent in all black apparently, the people at the embassy cut off his internet access last March while that should have been clue because he said check Twitter reached an agreement not to interfere in the affairs of other states. No, he he's done bad things to the Ecuadorian leadership. Yes in apparently, he's become increasingly hostile within the embassy in the face. And this is then say sit down here for while. "Gary Player. Think of that if they. If they set it up for the European bomb or the American bombers. Oh festival. I think there should be books jumps into fairway for the year. And then they should have to do. I'm curls for fifteen minutes before they tell what does he think of Brusca and his way. Oh my goodness. I've never. I've never seen him a handsome. Exciting. A more Gary Player s man, then books. All right. I wanna do. We've, we've, I guess, kind of mourned the US here, but I do. I think we do a ton of credit for the Europeans and how they played, especially mowing are in Fleetwood and it's just like that's kind where what the crux of a lot of the things I said on Twitter this week was just like guys like this. A lot of is just golf, like a lot of it is honestly golf and that especially on the DJ KEPCO Fowler front, it's guys like you just did not play good enough golf, and I don't think it's a whole lot more than that because again, those guys are gonna be on this team regardless of whether it's a putt, putt course or nine thousand yard golf course. Like it's those guys just should be there and they got to deliver and they didn't. And so I don't know that regard. It's like I don't know what to change other than like hat tip to Europe and be like, you guys. They didn't just beat us. They walked our asses. I wanna know what was what were the, you're at the the, the wrap-up press conferences, but were those. As is always. I mean, they are just so like Fleetwood is like they know trying to the press trying to get artist, say something interesting. He's got that pretty dry wit and says something to Fleetwood. Everyone kinda looks fluid fluid, blows him a kiss and Sergio's does his usual like trying too hard to make people laugh. He keeps doing like Sergio's impression of Connor sketches doing Sergio's laugh, which is like super annoying, like very like, Sergio way. Roy's talking about how they're he revealed that they make Bjarne get a tattoo somewhere Bjorn's like it's going to be somewhere only my wife can see it. So it's just like they're funny like there. I think Sergio and Poulter try a little bit too hard to be funny sometimes, but like Rory and just rose and Fleetwood. They're just sneaky funny and it's just they, they make it. They were that way and Hazeltine. Yeah. Remember remember that kind of recap that press conference at the start of the week. It's a sort of reminder of like they're always kind of the same way, and I think what do you think is kind of we should pay tribute to is like this is probably the last of the sort of Ryder cups for the group. That's one a bunch of, you know, that's, I mean, you know, Henricks forty two. Ian forty, two, whatever. You know, there's a lot of guys Rosen cases getting certainly older. They'll probably play with selling, but that then they're starting to really gauge to catch up with them. This group is kind of transitioning into the next thing. I don't know who's going to be the next generation of young Europeans who's gonna come up, whether it's, you know, Victor, Hoven, whatever the kid is just one that you Osama to think he's Danish Netherlands or something, you know, like not Wallace is he good enough players is Matt. Patrick, get back on like those guys are gonna have to sort of fill some of those roles because some of their old lions are sort of retiring. But like those guys are still, you know, the guys like Padraig Harrington like Darren Clarke in Westwood, and those guys are all kinda hanging around like a system captains, whatever. And they've been really good at this. And it's been honest like you gotta just respect how great Dave van and pay tribute to that because they've made it fun. They've made this event lot not dour not sort of depressing. Made a joy for their fans, and that's all you can ask for them..

"Course of the greens all the little the tricks of the trade out there are so unbelievably important and so it's very very smart and hetty for some unlike thomas peters to seek out of phil or tigers wanna blame pregnant not even just for the the fact that you're playing with a legend but i mean to get that knowledge and all that things like ben crenshaw is always a big younger guys saw it out to play the course and get knowledge from and and that type of thing they would always talk about tiger would play with nncholas and he was young all that i'm certainly not denying that it's it's a good idea but i it's just a group of legends and thomas peters but i do like donald peters heke matsuyama who if you remember i went through a short period last year when he was my favorite player in the world big time crush on lava decky love him he's won over so i mean the leaderboard daniel burder duffner just one over all those guys are still get right in the middle of tournament i mentioned earlier dj's even part through fourteen he's playing the always back back to back birdies got thirteen fourteen eighties playing the par five fifteenth right now so i mean we had all this are boy kids even par loved ac kiss up there hell ya posted seventy two so good stuff from kids i saw him play the tenth that i looked sharp look good way to go kiss i mean so a lot of these different names lou stays in who course loss in that playoff to bubba that was two thousand twelve he's at one hundred par so the leaderboard that we've been hoping for you know we've been praying for again roy's at three hundred all these guys these guys are still in they're still playing good golf that's thursday it's just the first day the few in the course playing firm and fast and difficult species is at five there's one person tony fee now at four and then a good six six guys that looks like three so no one's running away with it yet it's early alana guys still in the mix it's masters week a lot of good things going on trent denting yet and we just got got done hanging out gary player.

"Always goes left on the first he shot of tournament he did it especially on that holy goes into those left trees all time he did it had this crazy low hook up to the front of the green did it great lag putt then bombs drive like three fifty or three sixty unto crushed it with an iron hand and you're thinking like here week oh in more than one and he's got an iron hand his driver looks good wipes out of the bunker makes kind of a disappointing five then rips driver get on three which is bowl play makes great birdie hits great ireland for that comes up foot short ends up making bogey sloppy bogey on five six hits tight and misses a putt seventy to have that that would have been nice on six seven kind of a standard to putt par eight again he hits a good drive doesn't make birdie so you're starting to think what the hell then things get out of hand eleven blast one way right hit a fucking spectator on his a second shots tough to see on we're streaming where we're like yelling coverage we were joel joel tiger were repeatedly yelling at the patriots to get back back back and apparently they didn't get back enough because he's still sound like he's struck one of the patrons the baldin role nearly as far as it was going to so that kinda started a little bit of a downhill for tiger makes boll yet eleven rents as one on twelve and you're thinking oh my god miss the cut what's going on here hits terrible shop in the drop zone they're like holy shit this is actually gonna the wheels are gonna come off and then he somehow makes his bogey putt which if he doesn't make that bowie i don't know what the rest of the round looks like still then he doesn't birdie thirteen you thinking like what is wrong with the sky with his power and all that he's not birdieing the parfive e lives on the parfive they're rattled off stats trent i came in but he's like he was like thirty twenty six over something career on the par threes like you know fifteen over career on the par fours at augusta's like a hundred.
