What the defensive coordinator vision is The cody cody barton barton to the world at linebacker Cedric lattimore Daryl taylor trey flowers ryan. They're like three four trey flowers in the league and i did not know that s crazy But all these individuals should definitely begin enough time To give us a chance to see if they are going to meet the standard of what the seahawks bring The that in that most definitely the number one most competitive Division out of the entire league when it comes to vegas man look You wanna have a brady career and stuff like that is gonna take some brady work buddy. carl right. I mean he. He solid for someone. That's holding down their job. We'd love is that he's good at playing starting quarterback for the las vegas raiders. Not good enough to get them That ring that they probably want but good nonetheless. Marcus mariota is back there. They see a lot of marcus Maybe some some of of nathan peterman asset quarterback got kenyan drake j richard in the backfield backups to Josh jacobs josh brown. Willie snead the fourth is be interesting to watch zeta-jones on a defensive side of the ball looking at a couple of different guys. "Niner fans who have not been paying attention I'd be lying if I said that I think all minor fence row was looking over their shoulder for the Seattle Seahawks it's a different Seahawks team this year not the defensive team were used to yeah it is certainly intriguing team I don't know that it's the best the ox team that we've seen by any stretch but they've certainly found found a way to win a couple exciting games lay down on the wire game the rams and obviously yesterday it went over the Buccaneers with an incredibly thrilling game even if it wasn't necessarily the best play defensively thirteen but certainly the seven to start that the album's been able to get themselves off do is put them in a pretty good position and just past the midway point of the season for them and so the next five weeks will be pretty telling for what this team actually is to some extent you know what you know not quite like the patriots per se but you know the the scheduled the octave pad up Intel now haven't exactly been the most daunting outside of the the ram home game for instance but the next five weeks who won the next five games that you play over the next six weeks that have the forty Niners biking eagle pampers lot of solid teams in there that shouldn't that I tend to find that and then the ram going back into that you should have a way of someone piano what it exactly what they are a little bit more than we know at this point yeah it is and I sort of look at the Seattle Seahawks like I have in the past it seems like the Packers teams like the saints are not so much the patriots with teams up with the the the Houston Texans even teams with good quarterbacks who regardless of what's happening elsewhere on the roster they've got an opportunity to win because Russell Wilson can take the ball that's what we saw yesterday it's why he's an MVP candidate in looking at what he's done this year is that the feeling around this team that even though they're given up twenty five thirty points at a time they've lost games in Seattle this year but Russell Wilson if he's got an opportunity to win a coin toss in overtime work get the ball for the final position the Seahawks are gonna win yeah I think that's why I leave the the group of us sitting close to each other in the press box yesterday some of my co workers in touch were kind of thinking that you know is preparing implement balking at her driving for that late quarter past the game that will we thought that they'd go for to try to win it there without that we don't want a coin toss to decide whether local walking can you get a chance to go put this away considering he he came at cap or a fifty three yard touchdown in German I'm you know half the people like the forty six seconds that of which should have been the game winning field goal you know one point primary we figured that they try to go over that two point conversion to try to get the win right then and there and they obviously didn't game went to overtime and all that and Seattle still won the coin toss one three down one it so when you have a quarterback like local open we have one will be a lead quarterback Lee you're always going to have yourself have a chance and if they didn't have him right now given that the trouble that their defenses having particularly in rushing the passer they would not be able to be seven into at this stage in the evening so he is obviously a big part of it I I still though the stress that he had been the first seven eight weeks late in the two thousand fifteen season I still think I still think might be the best route to I've seen him playing a career but this is Elise even with that if not just below it just above it however you want to rank you you you're on your doctor hello Sir good even for sure we're talking to the structure and the only gasoline at Curtis underscore Crabtree covers the Seahawks up in Seattle for sports radio K. J. R. R. in talking about this the Seattle receiving corps you just mentioned you came back after ABS sort of a a break out party you know we've got three balls two touchdowns couple weeks ago and then yesterday over a hundred yards and a great big touchdown run in in helping the Seahawks solidify that win in overtime but he's playing sort of second fiddle right now to Tyler Lockett sort of seems like Tyler Lockett is taken over there's gold in trade routes that production and then now DKA Metcalf is become sort of a long guy but then they add in Josh Gordon off the waiver wire this week what do you make of that move in and where this receiving corps goes from here you have no with with the way the locket in med cap of been playing on they could there looking for a third option which might be a nice way to try to make that Josh Gordon drawn brown and even more just and Molly Turner either three next options on the roster we have been through the first nine games of the season and you know what each of them a class in moment there haven't been a ton of consistency there and if it's too enough according mobile out and you just get a little bit more pop out of that next group to wear when they some guy I've been out there still a little bit more right out of right next to your receiver I think that would be a benefit for them Peter also the David there's no real expectations for what he's going to bring to the table to disconnected and then here starting with practice on Thursday and see how it comes along but the directly with the fit is I I don't think they even know just yet you right now they've got eight receivers on the roster that he's probably a little bit like overkill there to their rookies John are suing Gary Jennings are at the back and that Roger basically have been an active just about every week as long as they add five healthy receiver though the wife to carry up to the roster so exactly if they make any move there it's going to be Kerry be but for now you can bring some high and potential if he's healthy so to be able to add to this mix and we'll see if he's able to what if anything he's able to bring and if he's able to be consistent and find a wall and figure out how to deal with Russell Wilson pier waiting around and extending plays confining holding down one when everything's breaking down if you can find that he could be a nice addition quarrel yeah he doesn't give them a different look it seems like they have right now in my right in that last year they went out in the sun does Brian before the Achilles tear no no it in kind of Brian Brandon Marshall landed Marshall that's one thing yeah right okay so bring more so they were looking for the same type of thing that they're open to get from Gordon correct all I I think de can make cap might be more okay Brandon Marshall com well you know the court a bigger receiver going back to Pete Carroll day the UFC athlete you know they wanted to have that sort of people you know finding that big strong fast receiver at the tough challenge and particularly when you're picking at the back end of the first round like the I'll have been more polite that being on the Carol you know it's tough to find those to Julio Jones in a paper seating options may had one early on when they were kind of rejuvenated Mike Williams career in the first couple years Pete Carroll here but they haven't really found that guy otherwise made you know they brought here alone then into twenty twelve for a little scratch in Brandon Marshall last year we tried a couple better option to find that makes they just haven't quite worked out to make happen clearly given them a big boost at that spot there Gordon exactly I think it's going to be just kinda adding to their speed crime if he's still able to run like you used to be and just giving them you know this is after receiving corps Seattle pad so I think that might be more so the tip for him okay yeah it's a it's a good breakdown of of what they've been doing with the roster of the last couple years Curtis Crabtree with this for a few more minutes here in talking about the the the defense here I wonder what they're going to do as far as trying to stop the passing a we just Ajima rob Lowe for the forty Niners about a phenomenal game on Thursday night we're the Arizona Cardinals basically tried to sell out to stop the run they put extra grand the botched with Buddha Baker and the forty Niners who have been the leading rushing team in the NFC really all year did or weren't able to do it in that game they had to return to the passing game which you metropolis or four touchdowns the Seahawks against the pass and been in the bottom five all season long as far as passing yards allowed the forty Niners right number one the rest one of the best passer in the league what do you think they do on defense as we do this ought to stop the run because they haven't been great in passing put the pressure engine with rob Lowe where do you go I I think we will still make sure that that the forty nine have to play one handed that I is there you know they'll try to stop the one first to make sure that particularly because the Courteeners are so adept at it that they don't want that bad to beat them because that everything in the playbook is open to all they can go with the play action stuff is chanting and up so while and obviously if manual standards being down there is there is a nice addition to that often to give me a little bit more pop a little more very ability as well so they'll they'll want to make sure that the running game this and getting them to in addition to that but now when it comes to stopping the passing game Seattle just have not been able to generate much of a pass rush all year the only have fifteen sack through nine games there's been some reason for that Clowney show just any kind of shows up five minutes before the start of the season the young coming back from a shoulder injury missed the first two games here read suspended for the first six they only had a limited amount of time to work together even now half of the season in but that group has not really come together as of yet and maybe it won't all together they haven't been able to get a ton of pressure consistently Clowney is trying double teams left and right and causing some issues he's not getting any facts out of it and they're just struggling to get a kind of pressure against their opponent so in general that that given them a lot of problems so I do think though this try to make sure the running game seven gas them as well and then they'll take a chance with the passing in the want to keep everything in front of a minute long if they can hold the fuel all that it cuts down the link that poppy I would consider to win and they made the trade for quandary due to the lines but he's still out of commission right yeah he he had a hamstring injury in Detroit the course in the mix the game before the last game he played in Detroit right and then when he got here the the issue of a little bit more pronounced I think and they wanted to just kind of scaling back on Friday they error sometime last week they had at his hamstring and drained of some blood that it kind of pulled up in there and cotton from discomfort he so he's expected to get back to practice on Thursday and no melhor came into the mix eventually as well exactly where it that'll be flight corner fleet safety I don't think we fully know yet but they've got options on the table there which could allow them to be a little bit more flexible here into the second half of the season as well yeah stuff left monitors we get closer to Monday night at Levi's stadium Curtis before we let you go I just want to ask you real quick because it's been sort of a I think I I think a bit of a story line at least down here we've paid attention to what a wonderful from Seattle it's a story and that's the home field advantage for the Seahawks hasn't been as dominant feels like this season tough one point win over the bangles to start the year you needed a a bad Indy fumble in the rain almost to come away with that want to Mr line kick they do have two losses up in Seattle this year is the home field advantage still the same why I think they're tough games so far of the year how I'm coming home with the same.

"They're gonNA last west and they're actually very very similar. Except for in rushing rushing yards rushing yards allowed so the seahawks yards rushing are one hundred ten and cardinals were only eighty four point three so then you look at rushing yards allowed seahawks have only allowed sixty seven point. Seven cardinals have allowed one hundred fifty seven. That'll do it so you can kind of see there. where I guarantee you schottenheimer's drooling and going home? I got we gets run. Finally audits are run the ball. We're going to run it so hard. It's going to be great. It's GONNA be awesome. I don't think that's always sounds no. It's not at all how he sounds. He's got advisor on on and on you. You know sounds like somebody who looks like he's always congested. Does doesn't he weird deviated Septum Sir. Is that why you want to run all the time has her Septum so you don't also looking at stats here and they looked at the receiving and they're leaning leading receiver Holy Shit. It's still Larry Fitzgerald and he's got eighteen receptions. Two hundred forty three yards two touchdowns seahawks Tire Lock Twenty receptions two hundred seventy seven yards in two touchdowns self fitzgerald still putting up you know lock type numbers. Lockett type numbers but he's still having a good year so you know when you you look at the stats and the two quarterbacks I mean honestly so you know Russell seventy five hundred five nine hundred one yards and seven touchdowns russell has not thrown an interception yet. That's kind of Nice Murray. He's throwing three interceptions. got seventy yards but he's only thrown four touchdowns. There are more similar than than I thought basically is what I'm saying what I'm getting at and it's a different game division game which are always Super Fun on and you know. Arizona is a shitty place to play for the SEAHAWKS. Something always happens down there. It's just like a super bowl. Why did you why you brought it up but I wasn't necessarily talking about the Super Bowl. It was just talking about going down there and playing Arizona. Why are we gonNA talk about the Super Bowl. Throw it from the One oh so anyways. I sorry I got strategy there. Yeah so things things it's just it's just not a good place to play and it just there's something always yeah so but. I am excited to see Mary because I want to see what he's all about. I have not seen anything of him. I have not highlight. I have not seen anything at all so I don't know why I just haven't. Maybe there isn't any to look at it. I don't know but seahawks to do some things. Sleep up to the game. They had kind of a busy day actually got a battle going on at safety. There's injuries all over. The place second areas such such a problem area. It's just on the Shatt. Griffin on one side is still fine but from your safeties to your other corner it's it's honestly a mess tied. Ny is though as we look at the tight end situation. SEATTLE Disley as having a fabulous comeback year and you got Dixon stolen I are you nick vinet and on all of a sudden out of nowhere seahawks trade nick vinet to the steelers for a fifth round pick in two thousand twenty. Yep and I I was like in some depth. What what the what the hell they do in here are offensive? Line can't block. We need Tida to help assist. I which is also what's fun about. We'll sleep because he was. He was not supposed to be like he's supposed to be you know due to the tight end that blocks the complete opposite of Jimmy Graham and then yeah I guess he happens to catch the ball but his kiss kept like his the throws that he's actually catching. They're not just like easy. Passes like he's actually making great. Contested catches in looks great so that's been fun to see so. I was Kinda like all right so we're stocking up draft picks already. That's interesting. What are we going to do here. And then you come to find out all and then later today all of a sudden you see a familiar face returns. Luke Wilson is now. Seahawk again and so the Wilson Wilson Combo gets to happen again and then I was even more puzzled like okay so you're run too tight end. So why do we need you guys. Don't even use Russell Anyway. What are you will you. What do you do in there and then you find out that there's a safe and I forgot the name of the safe. There was a safety on their practice squad so forgive me how fans I'm. I'm an idiot. There is a safety on their the practice squad that was getting interest from other teams. They quickly promoted him so they could put him on the roster so nobody else could grab him. They had to free up a roster spot vanette. The steelers have wanted him forever. They've been looking for an asked about him. Several Times TMZ Luke Wilson out here is all of a sudden available. The raiders had released many way. He's knows the program already he's familiar with at all then all of a it all made sense on what they were doing and so that at first. I was like this stupid what the Hell and now I'm like all right cool. Everybody will always as Seahawks fans always loved Wilson listen so I have no problem with him being back. I don't WanNa see though I love we'll densely and I don't WanNa see any you know all of a sudden his numbers go down because you got you know your body back in town right now. You're not hanging out with your new buddy anymore. So then they waved wide receiver Gary Jennings which was drafted him and in the fourth round and father he was going to be this you know that xp wide receiver for the Seahawks not big but you know really a really good contributor didn't have the most amazing training camp and never played a never was active for any of the Games like they they'd spoke so highly of him was never active and and so they they waived him and he ended up back on the practice squad at but I you know I'm assuming assuming he'll be scooped up by somebody those just weird trying to think of the last time that there is a very good player in the NFL whose name is Gary. It's actually a great point. Gary had a cat named Gary not even one of the best cats around. Oh that's good but he didn't play the NFL but he's a cat. He's very tall. Could jump great hop got a good wingspan all huge wingspan. Tell you what Klaus the gloves while other than that Duane Brown says he's GonNa play He hurt his bicep which was a little bit concerning Let's see here's your your questionable. Ziggy who played his first game finally and Pete their whole life they kept call earlier than they made him him inactive and just I don't know what they're doing. Trey flowers still doing hamstring quitting Jefferson Poon afford and then Travis homer and and Penny did not practice today so if you're worried about Carson and and you know his butter fingers he's GonNa have to play and we don't have a lot of options there and Peak Carolina clear today that that is where they're they're they still have faith in him him and he is going to play so I gotta believe though he makes one one more stupid fumble and look out. GotTa learn to secure the ball better so especially because you know what every defense they play now is GonNa go hard. They're gonNA have guys just punch in at that ball hip trying to get it out and why not you should sell you know about your game. It's GONNA be exciting. It's exciting Sunday night when it is yes all right mailbag and a denise from Ohio. Would you have one mailbag question from my mom. Hi Mom she's a huge Luke Wilson fan the actor yeah yeah I loved him in idiosyncrasy he was great. Yeah he's Great. He's brilliant. He's getting a lot of things. He's an old school. Yeah I mean the nose is weird but we'll work. Owens is different while you're talking about. I want now luke so he see trying to think so your crecy old school and then name another so get him back in my head. Yeah look it up. Old Schools tools probably idiosyncrasy is very underrated that movie does not get enough love that is correct and but old school. He's great in that. I don't know why confuse them. Those brother Wow all right so my mom asks what impact you think Luke Wilson Though football player will oh have on the seahawks offense by the way I'm super excited. He's back gives them depth. I think it shows that they don't compete. Kinda hinted towards today that they're a little nervous about Dixon being able to come back like he'll be will. He be ready to come back after a weeks. Stephen play come off a VR and so if that's the if that's the case then you need more depth at that position and like. I said it just kind kind of worked out where Pittsburgh wanted a net. You just got yourself at draft pick and then you just replaced anywhere with with Luke Wilson so that's a win and you're bringing in and a guy who knows the system and can jump right back in probably in rock and roll and he's excited to be there and so I think a lot of big impact. Disney has been fantastic. We're now. You're going to have another guy that Nike just rotate them and again. It's extra help in the run blocking because you're offensive line is terrible and they can't do themselves exactly the bring the twelve personnel out there and just hope that Carson doesn't fumble. Please don't fumble please. Carson you guys brought back Kristen Michal eighteen times. I'm going to give him a call now. Hell no more than done with Michael. He can go away all right. Dennis Ohio makes another appearance because we love him and we want him to keep making appearances so here's his question for this week you guys from. Ohio here with my weekly question however have to start off with the fact that my forty nine hundred three and now the granted. They tried to do everything they could to lose that game. There were some positive things that went on in that game especially. If you saw the full bags usig throw Meek Patrick on the ground like a rag doll. You haven't seen that highlight on my twitter page. Feel free to check it out. It's pretty good but my question for you guys is with the two year quarterbacks Daniel Jones and Kyle Allen with their performance on Sunday. Do you think that's somewhat of a fluke. Do not being much tape out there on them or that it sign of good things to come for both of them also with that looks like Melvin Gordon might be ending his hold out pretty soon so whoever dropped him and fantasy football that allow me to take him out. I appreciate it but do you think they'll just throw him right into the fire based on how Ecuador's been playing or they're going to slowly ease them into it. That's all I got for today..

T._v._d. mailbag before we get to dennis from ohio his question we did have one question asked and and i'll give him credit because they asked it before i even posted there was mailbag. They knew that it was coming up. Let's go twitter at common ground on f._p._u. If you're curious lee walker hailee which player from each of your teams who is currently a relatively unknown player will be a household name by seasons and as a fantastic question <hes> ban tastic question and a difficult one to answer. I answer. I should have prepped you on that. Okay i got one there. I mentioned it last week. I think that obviously if i was to say yes okay safety for l. Yes younger guy other than you. There is not going to be a lot. There's a lot of people out there. Who knows who xavier woods. Is i think in the end of the season. That's going to be a player that everybody's gonna know about <hes>. I think i said last week to he'll he'll be the player that makes everybody glad add that dallas. Didn't you know make a big deal for rural thomas who yes. He's a great player. We'll see what he does this coming season but is definitely up there in age which xavier woods a young guy hard hitting safety look for him to be your guy by the end of the year knowing his name that is such such a view would game to get name a good name. Yeah woods yeah like latent vander. Ash that's my oh boy sir falling in that last year that would have been your answer like yahoo for first round who i kid from idaho had there's potatoes potatoes and big linebacker back. That's awesome awesome you think he eats potato bedsheets lots of potatoes. Yeah keep an eye out on xavier woods. That is such a tough question because there are so many every year. You've got all these new players that they're not household names but i mean i could you know you've got players like by cody barton or checkup martin or jazz ferguson or as fergus scary jedi makes it just because that's his name is kick ass right jazz for jazz ferguson awesome. That's great name. I don't want to go with jazz because his name is cool. I think it'll be it'll end up being being somebody on the receivers whether it be or shua whoever makes the team really gary jennings jazz <hes> be be one of those guys that makes the team and then lights it up a became kantar walk so that's a great question and i honestly time we get to one of those questions. You may be look at again when we get the final roster and and really look at it and go okay well. That's a no name but he did so well. I could see him being a superstar so let's get to thanks for the question. Appreciate that remember every single week you want to get in the mail bag part of the show jump on twitter and i think you're going to jump on the twitter box answer questions that can be anything seahawks indian cowboy or even star wars related because we are actually a star wars show lead or not which is weird denison rojo knows that hey guys what's up standards from ohio here with my question goes out you don't want to do are both of you serious as your quick take on how things are going to end the star wars aw adventure how they're going to tie everything together talk about this show forever and its own so or is this your quick thoughts and and as always enjoyed the show from last week we're always buttery smooth and looks like we're one step closer at me earned his acknowledgement in fiji water. I'm still doing my best doesn't matter he's our h._r. Until next week stay dave buttery smooth and i've always go forty niners. Do we need to get say and first of all. It's not an adventure saga saga pitcher yes yeah. It's a saga dennis as a superfan that you call yourself. Come on the rise of skywalker houses can end for those of you. Don't know what the ninth movies called the rise of if you don't know that you're not a star wars fan and i think that that a supermassive black hole going to open up and swallow everything that will be that i have no idea uh especially especially because you had like we've talked about you had a abrahams do force awakens. Ryan johnson took over and changed all <hes> obviously snow being the big one where it was like well you know yeah so and now it's back with abrams. I have no idea idea what they're gonna do. I don't either in somehow the house zane somehow after everything. That's happened obviously since episode episode one everything needs to be tied up in about two hours twenty minutes certainly wasn't there a run time. I saw a headline that they had the possibility elliot runtime and been leaked. I did not read the story so you can find out wins between two hours and ten minutes to two twenty some around there and you got to wrap all this up. Give it was three hours. You know yeah. I don't know how you away and you're right. That's the thing is they gotta take everything that's happened from one through through eight tie everything up in one movie because you can't. You don't want to leave anything out. There and i don't know how they do it. The end game did it and that was three hours a little over three hours or just under three hours at tied up. You know ten years of movies and they did it poli as best as you could be yeah this one. You've got to imagine it'll be a happy ending in the sense that that the the light side will what if it's not what if it's not that's the thing like what if it's what if it's grey like what if it's they find balance in at all and then there's it's so difficult to tell. How are they going to wrap up. Carrie fisher storyline with prince you know how they're going to do print the princess lay thing and and and you know respectfully and everything else is generally you're right and you know i will say and i've said this before they blow up that falcon and i'm getting up and i'm walking out of the theater. Be to buy will not even kidding you. I i'm done. I will go but uh-huh took this too far. I'm leaving. We'll say what if what if it towards the end though you see it back and it's being repaired. It's being fixed up out of the theater so i guess i won't see that part's absolve out there stopping around pissed off on. I'll be on social media so fast those stupid ass. I'll be everyone that hated last jet. I all be that guy. Just i can't believe it. Just don't blow up my ship okay. That's like kill everybody else. That's fine. I honestly kill everyone. Kill everyone off off but and have the falcons sitting there. Maybe don't kill chewy chewy and the falcon because they belong together and then that can be your end with one pork. I don't know dennis. That's tough question. We still the thing is we haven't even seen a full trailer yet just seeing the teaser you're so we don't even know like there's not even like you can't even get you can't even get misled yet because you haven't seen a full trailer coming quick though that timbers around the corner wind is well. I heard that we weren't going to get one until october so and then the movie comes out and frigging december so so it's almost here pardon me just very burpee feel so much better off guard man you gotta get yourself into them lifetime time pasta cards so as we were discussing getting that i was like hey have you seen these how much of those costs five hundred bucks holy wow but for time but you could and you could feel like this all the time. You know what there's probably a scam. It'll probably be like that. <hes> that damn that movie movie pass deal or it's like oh yeah. No you pay this figo. Watch any movie. You want a lot. Now my uh my dad got it and chelsea got it and it's not it's not that it's not that i know that at all unlimited breadstick one might be into that. That's my issue salad and breadsticks some good stuff you gotta take the breadstick and got like dip it in the salad dressing. That's good. That's good to or the chicken note gnocchi. The gnocchi says in new jersey not their stuffed chicken. "Welcome back to the Adam Schefter podcast on ESPN radio ask at them. Oscar scattered. Yeah. We should ask Adam thank for asking free shaded. Appreciate my producer, Josh macrey putting together these questions for another Adam Schefter podcast. Josh, thank you very much. How are the questions this week? Questions have been great in the last several weeks. Adam glad that we can get the fans involved with these ask Adam questions, the first one this week asked about some teams that have flown under the radar this off season. My name is nNcholas curious has right now. What teams do you think flew under the radar in terms of the traps, some of the moves they've made so far this year? We'll make it still early. Listen again, if we just go back to the draft in which the patriot traffic Tom Brady where we have said that the patriots in June, really into the radar with that great selection. They made in the six round of that quarterback for Michigan. No, you can't know that it's just very difficult to tell I can tell you that the Seattle Seahawks were a team that headed into the draft with four picks and somehow turned all those four picks into a lot more. Picks so that by the time they finished their draft. They had one first round pick three second round picks, one third round pick three four picks a fifth to six seven. That was from four picks, which is amazing that Seattle did that now. We'll see whether L J Collier defensive in from tease. You can play in Greg little and marquee player and decay, Metcalf in Cody Barton, and Gary Jennings on and on and on, we go. But the point of the matters that Seattle, very quietly accumulated a lot more draft capital than it headed into the draft with him. We'll see how that works out for looking for a team that may be flew under the radar. I can tell you this, the Los Angeles Rams love Taylor app, the defensive back. They drafted with the sixty first overall selection, and I will just say this to you to Nick Daryl Henderson, third round pick seventieth overall running back from Memphis. Here's a guy that I believe Sean McVay thought was the most dangerous offensive play. Player in the draft. You hear me Nick. That's right. They love Daryl Henderson now again. We'll see how Todd Gurley holds up how he fares. But that's my little tip for you. Nick. And all you other fancy football listeners, Daryl Henderson Memphis running back, put them on your radar. Take. No absolutely one team last year. That had an off season that turned out to be better than expected the Indianapolis Colts, which leads us to our second voicemail Karasu, Indiana. I'm a big fan. I was curious. I'm seeing a lot of hype about the Indianapolis Colts and all the team as a fan. But I wanna know what you how d colts team go. Thanks that. Well Ross, thanks for the question. Thanks for listening to the podcast truly appreciate it. And I would say this, first of all, did you see the link to the draft war room that the colts posted and how much they loved the players that they drafted early on rocky sand and Ben bad Agoo? If i'm. Saying that correctly in Paris Campbell, and Bobby Ohka wreck the linebacker from Stanford they love these guys and they done a tremendous job accumulating talent last couple years. Chris Ballard has come in there and really shown how an organization should be acquiring personnel and look is healthy. He's one of the best quarterbacks in football. They put together a really strong offensive line. It's not a finished product. But again, it's a very good football team with a lot of debt, a lot of talent again another one of those teams that with the benefit last year of going back from two to six. So the jets could go up and get darnold. They got quitting Nelson there. They picked up the extra twos this year. So they had three to this year where they draft a cornerback defensive at a wide receiver. You just have to like, what Chris Ballard is done there. The coaching staff Nick serianni the offense coordinator, Matt. Uber flus defense corner. They have made all the right moves, and they're really tracking and trending in the right direction sushi. Pretty excited they us, so the cold definitely took a leap last season. A team that a lot of people thought may take a leap didn't the forty Niners one of their fans wants to know does that mean trouble for the coaching staff in the front office. Hey, Adam, this is Kevin from California, the forty Niners go under six wins this year. Shannon job going to be on the line. And then what does that mean for the future of Garoppolo? Thanks. Well, kevin. I appreciate the question, and I would say to you this, that if the forty Niners went six ten this year, and they decided to move on from Cal shining, which I don't see. Okay. I don't see that. But if they did, I would bet you that Cal Shanahan would have another. Hey, coaching job within five minutes. And so I know it's easy and it's almost sport to say, well, is this guy's job in trouble. I think we've seen that the best organizations usually are the most stable organizations, and what is it that every? Everybody in football is always seemingly looking for whenever they have a head coaching opening looking for the bright young of mine college Shanahan, I would say is one of the two or three best young offensive minds and football all of ball. Okay. So they may go six and ten for whatever reason, and maybe they will from Cal Shannon, number one. I don't see it happening after this year. I don't see that. But if they did that would be their loss, and he would have another job within five minutes. So I just don't see that happening and we'll see how plays out. We will see. We'll also see if anybody is going to be on the field and a couple years with this, pending labor doom. That's what our next caller wants to talk about. I this is Kevin calling from Connecticut with all the reports coming out this week about their possibly being labor strike in twenty twenty one what you think are the biggest hurdles that. Both the lead has to solve the both the players and the owners to keep everybody happy, love the show. Thank you. Thanks very much, Kevin. I would just say this that look last time, it seemed like the owners were intent upon keeping Roger Goodell's power intact, and making as much money as possible. They did both those things and the players seem intent upon getting more breaks from work more time away from the facility, and they did that now I think, in this go round, there's a few things that the players have to get I think they have to eliminate the fifth year option in first round draft pick steals that just really hinders players. I think there's gonna be discussion about franchise tags. Because when those created in the mid to early nineties, it was done so that a quarterback John Elway or Dan Marino, couldn't leave his team. And now it's turned into a weapon that teams used to lock in a player and players hate it. So the owners are gonna want maybe. Increase schedule. Maybe more playoff games, always more revenue. The players, I think are gonna want a piece of that revenue. They're gonna want some ways to modify the current contractual system. There's a lot to get done here a lot and you're already hearing. About what a difficult negotiation, it could be. And you always hear that in advance. So I don't know that this is any different than any other year where there's doom and gloom forecast. It but I just think right now. It's I think it's an issue and it's a problem that sits in the future. And you'd like to think that both sides will address it tackle the issues head on get it done as soon as possible, and it won't impact football, it won't lead to any work stoppage. Nobody wants that nobody wins with that. And hopefully everybody gets it figured out before them. But, but I'll say this. There's a lot of strong language and big terms being used right now. All right. Adam, now it's time for the hardest opus Adam question for lash for last indefinitely, the most difficult wanted for last. Let's see if you can handle. Hey, Adam, this is, you know, from Chicago, just calling wanted to say love, love let you do. And my question to you would be as they Michigan fans. Who do you think is probably the biggest athletes ever come out of the university of Michigan other than Tom Brady, who are who was the question, Josh who was the biggest what athlete to come out of Michigan? Not named Tom Brady. Charles which was pretty good. He's pretty good. He did okay from such as one of the greatest defensive players in NFL history. I think he's, he's worked out, pretty well, Desmond Howard, a Super Bowl and VP. He worked out, pretty well. Those guys obviously were colleagues here of ours, ESPN still are witne Desmond's case other guys, I'm thinking of, of the top of my head about the new men's basketball, coach Juwan Howard that. That's a good one. How about Jalen rose about Jalen rose, Chris Webber define TNT, announcer. How about I mean we can go on, Jim Abbott of Michigan? How about Gerald Ford? Gerald Forrester president. He I mean he did okay for himself. Didn't he Jim Abbott was great? Michigan man Jim Harbaugh the head coach at Michigan. I mean, we got a lot of people that, that school is produced, and I'm probably forgetting right now about one hundred eighty six. Okay. Like those just literally just popped into our head as we're doing this right now about Frank Clark who got traded to Kansas City this off season. Right. There's, there's a good player. How about Devin Bush who Pittsburgh traded up to draft this year. How about some somebody the offensive lineman that have come through Jake long number one overall pick about friend of the podcast. Brian, greasy? How about Bryan greasy? A great man who's done so much good society. Yeah. I mean on here, I know honest, breaking my school or anything. But it has produced in, in ordinate amount of good. Quality, upstanding citizens who've great good in our society. One thing, everybody knows about Michigan men. They're always humble. And you just prove that, Adam. Absolutely. Why is that? What did I planted firmly in cheek? No. That's not bragging, Josh. Proud of the things that Michigan is done. The people's produced as you should be hail to the victors. How about Arthur Miller? How about him? That's a rich Eisen my favorite right network. That's right. Hails victors hailed to the ask Adam callers for some great questions this week. We'll do it again in all likelihood next week, and we want you to get involved when we do so again, so make sure you give us a call. Eight six oh,.

They drafted with the sixty first overall selection, and I would just say this to you to Nick Daryl Henderson third round pick seventieth overall running back from Memphis. Here's a guy that I believe Sean McVay thought was the most dangerous offensive player in. The draft. Do you hear me Nick? That's right. They love Daryl Henderson now again. We'll see how Todd Gurley holds up how he fares. But that's my little tip for you. Nick. And all you other fancy football listeners, Daryl Henderson Memphis running back put him on your radar take note, absolutely one team last year. That had an off season that turned out to be better than expected the Indianapolis Colts which leads us to our second voicemail Ross from Indiana. I'm a big fan. I was curious. I'm seeing a lot of hype about the Indianapolis Colts. And, you know, I'm all in the team as a fan, but I want to know what to say how deep coke team go. Thanks that. Well Ross, thanks for the question. Thanks for listening to the podcast truly appreciate it. And I would say this, first of all, did you see the link to the draft war room that the colts posted and how much they loved the players that they drafted early on rocky sand, and Ben bad goo? I'm saying that career. In Paris Campbell, and Bobby Ohka Recci the linebacker from Stanford like they love these guys and they done a tremendous job accumulating talent last couple years. Chris Ballard has come in there and really shown how an organization should be acquiring personnel. And look, if Andrew luck is healthy. He's one of the best quarterbacks in football. They put together a really strong offensive line. It's not a finished product. But again, it's a very good football team with a lot of depth a lot of talent again another one of those teams that with the benefit last year going back from two to six. So the jets could go up and get darnold. They got quitting Nelson there. They picked up the extra twos this year. So they had three to this year where they draft a cornerback defensive end a wide receiver. I mean you just have to like, what Chris Ballard is done there. The coaching staff Nick serianni the offense coordinator, Matt. Uber flus to defense corner. They just have made all the right moves, and they're really tracking and trending in the right direction sushi pretty. Sighted, they were so the cold definitely took a leap last season. A team that a lot of people thought may take a leap didn't the forty Niners. And now one of their fans wants to know does that mean trouble for the coaching staff and the front office? Hey, Adam, this is Kevin from California, the forty Niners go under six wins this year. Shannon his job going to be on the line. And then what does that mean for the future of Garoppolo? Thanks. Well, kevin. I appreciate the question, and I would say to you this, that if the forty Niners went six ten this year, and they decided to move on from college shining, which I don't see. Okay. I don't see that. But if they did, I would bet you that Cal Shanahan would have another head coaching job within five minutes. And so I know it's easy and it's almost sport to say, well, is this guy's job in trouble. I think we've seen that the best organizations, usually, the most stable organizations, and what is it that everybody? In football is always seemingly looking for whenever they have a head coaching opening. You're looking for the bright young of mine cow Shanahan. I would say is one of the two or three best young offensive minds in football. All of football. Okay. So they may go six and ten for whatever reason, and maybe they will move on from college Shannon, number one. I don't see it happening after this year. I don't see that. But if they did that would be their loss, and he would have another job within five minutes. So I I just don't see that happening and we'll see how plays out. We will see. We'll also see if anybody is going to be on the field and a couple of years with this, pending labor doom. That's what our next caller wants to talk about. I this is Kevin calling from Connecticut. With all the reports coming out this week about their possibly being labor strike in twenty twenty one. What you think are the biggest hurdles that both the league has to solve with both the players and the owners to keep everybody happy, love the show. Thank you. Well, thanks very much coming. I would just say this that look last time, it seemed like the owners were intent upon keeping Roger Goodell's power intact, and making as much money as possible. They did both those things and the players seemed intent upon getting more breaks from work more time away from the facility, and they did that now I think in this go round, there's a few things that the players have to get I think they have to eliminate the fifth year option in first round draft picks deals that just really hinders players. I think there's gonna be discussion about franchise tags. Because when those created in the mid to early nineties, it was done so that a quarterback. John elway. Dan Marino, couldn't leave his team. And now it's turned into a weapon that teams used to lock in a player in players hate it. So. The owners are going to want, maybe an increase schedule, maybe more playoff games, always more revenue. The players, I think you're gonna want a piece of that revenue, they're gonna want some ways to modify the current contractual system. There's a lot to get done here a lot and you're already hearing. About what a difficult negotiation, it could be. And you always hear that in advance. So I don't know that this is any different than any other year where there's doom and gloom forecasted. But I just think right now. All right. Adam, now it's time for the hardest, opus Adam question you save the best for last for last indefinitely, the most difficult on for last. Let's see if you can handle a Adam, this is, you know, from Chicago, just calling wanted to say, love love what you do. Men. My question to you would be as they siege Michigan fans. Who do you think is probably the biggest athletes ever come out of the university of Michigan other than Tom Brady, who are who was the question, Josh who was the biggest what athlete to come out of Michigan? Not named Tom Brady. Charles Woodson was pretty good. He's pretty good. He hit okay from subspecies one of the greatest defensive players in NFL history. I think he's, he's worked out, pretty well, Desmond Howard won a Super Bowl MVP. He worked out, pretty well. Those guys obviously were colleagues here of hours at ESPN still are Desmond's case. Other guys, I'm thinking of, of time my head about the new men's basketball, coach Juwan Howard, that, that's a good one about Jalen rose about Jalen rose, Chris Webber, define TNT, announcer. How about I mean we can go on, Jim Abbott of Michigan? How about Gerald Ford journal forfeiture, president, you know he I mean he did okay for himself. Didn't he Jim Abbott was a great Michigan man Jim Harbaugh the head coach at Michigan. I mean, we, we got a lot of people that, that school is produced, and I'm probably forgetting right now about one hundred eighty six. Okay like that. Those just the names like literally that just popped into our head as redoing this right now. How about Frank Clark who got traded to Kansas City this off season? Right. There's, there's a good player. How about Devin Bush who Pittsburgh traded up to draft this year. How about so many the offensive lineman that have come through? Jake long number one overall pick about friend of the podcast. Brian, greasy? How about Bryan greasy? A great man who's done so much good in our society. I mean they go on around here that in all honesty. I'm not bragging on my school or anything. But it has produced in, in ordinate amount of good quality, upstanding, citizens who've done, great good in our society. One thing, everybody knows about Michigan men. They're always humbled. And you just prove that, Adam. Absolutely. Why is that? What did I planted firmly in cheek? Is there? Yeah. That's not bragging, Josh. I'm proud of the things that Michigan is done to people. It's produced as you should be hail to the victors. How about Arthur Miller? How about him? That's a pretty rich Eisen my right? And the full network. That's right. Hails, the victors hail to the ask Adam callers for some great questions this week. "How do you think your team did? Let's go to Tony in Vancouver Canada. You're on ESPN radio. Tony. Hello. Hey, no matter what happens man up here in Seattle. We cannot be more proud of having Snyder Carol running this organization. I mean this guy day live in the second third fourth and prince amounts stockpile bodies. But the main thing about the Seahawks is they got what was the second best coach in the NFL. You could argue that all you want that guy. He's a motivator. He motivates his players. He gets the best out of them the worst and you come into camp. Besides Russell Wilson. And maybe Bobby Wagner. You come into camp known you gotta shop to make it. And what else can you ask for the player? I'm happy meal for Pete Carroll. I mean, I'm wide out him. And that's all I can say, that's all you say about it. But well, Tony appreciate the phone. Call in cannon tonight. You, you know, Kirk. I think the thing that stands out when you when you figure that the Seahawks wet they had five picks coming in, and they wound up with eleven at the end of the graft when you pay Russell Wilson what you paid him. You better convert on these picks. And I think that's why it was so critical that they added those eleven because of the percentage that he takes on their cap. Yeah. Absolutely. I in in the reason, you never call them rebuilding because they don't they just reset. They reset their roster. They do it to the draft. We forget Shaquille Griffin. A couple years ago. They drafted at corner they've drafted the safety. Snow? You know what? I mean, they've drafted Frank Clark was a great draft pick. And look at the end of the day. They ended up getting more picks to trade him away. Obviously to the Kansas City Chiefs. They got Eltek holler. Now. Who's? Probably going to be another a foundational piece of front for them the marquees Blair picket safety, it feels the need of Earl Thomas leaving decay Metcalf. Obviously, we know those reasons for Doug Baldwin possibly retiring. We got that news from our own Adam Schefter today or yesterday. They went and got Gary Jennings wide receiver from West Virginia. It's it's just to me like the Seahawks. They understand it. In turn. Snyder knows the value of third fourth fifth sixth round guys who just compete, and that's the one thing. Like, the caller was saying outside of Bobby Wagner. Russell wilson. It is true. You walk into a Seattle Seahawks training camp, you're competing for your job regardless for everybody. And it is a true true open competition the best players will play and essentially, that's why this team has always been successful. Because no one really wrestling their laurels ages. Go out. I got do it every single day. I got up to. But it was kind of scary to me they'll fellas, and this is the kind of the last I hit on with Seahawks that it's it's it's weird that a lot of the needle last parts of the legion of boom, they all kind of exit and with almost you know, in a bad way. It's Richard Sherman. Remember, he tore the his his akilah his achilles. Yeah. Kam chancellor, you know, the neck injury cliff aver who goes out neck injury. Earl Thomas breaks, the leg, and he's down for the and now you have you know, obviously Doug Baldwin with all of these injuries. As like a lot of the legion of boom is limited to the finish line right now. That's this. It's unfortunate. But what a great run that team had to think that they still have a guy who can hold the torch and can get them through this. And Russell Wilson that goes to show you how will that John Schneider? N P Carol have worked. Yeah. Eight seven to nine three seven seven six eight eight eight say ESPN the story of the draft was kind of Murray. Diana in Phoenix. Was just at the Leary. Fitzgerald celebrity softball came. Diana. Salt river. It was so much fun. It was just amazing. So. I was gonna ask you what was the buzz about the cardinals fits a softball game at the buzzers Josh Rosen. Who's that guy a standing ovation? He was one of the players on the white game opposite of Larry's team. But he got a standing ovation. They were chanting his name. Going frozen Rosen Rosen. Everybody was excited for him. They wished him well in the homerun derby got seven out of ten home runs you've won the trophy. So that and in the game the white team one which is his team. And I think he did like five of the runs that they got. But he was just he was very welcomed by the fans, they were very just grateful to have. Well, I'll tell you. I appreciate you sharing that story. Diana and Phoenix, Arizona eight seven right there. And you know, that's one of the stories guys that I think you have to talk about. Yes, Josh Rosen were in a business. But you guys know this Jeff Schwartz Kirk Morrison Tim Montemayor on game night ESPN radio and the PIN app is we talk in felt draft in the Zona cardinals. Josh Rosen was well liked in that locker room. And there are guys that will form opinions about this. But there there are there is no question. His teammates liked him. Jeff is there a residual one at general manager makes a move like this do you think there's a hangover for the play? Or is it over now? Not for Josh Rosen. I'd say because he was only there one year always starter for half the season, and they fired the coaching staff, but a calico del Beckham the giants locker room that to me there's residual because Odell was beloved that locker room he kept things loose. He worked his tail off practicing in the weight room. And it's obviously kind of giants legend even though they didn't win the Super Bowl with them. But just to catches percent all those things make him that guy. So you that's more residual in my opinion than than Rosa because you also brought a replacement infra rose in and you hit the ground running with Calum Murray. Now, there will be some players that maybe if Murray doesn't play what we'll be like. Well, we made a mistake which aus- Rosen got no that right away. They'll have still play hard. But I don't think from the locker room angle there's going to be much of residual. No, yeah. Let's get Sam in New Jersey Samuel on ESPN radio. Hello. Thank you. Yeah. What's on your mind? Samco head. I just wanted to I have two quick questions on the jets late third round pick. I feel like he's getting the love. I'm gonna throw a bunch of stats at you. And I'm gonna ask how the heck this guy taught to ninety two a across three hundred and four pass blocking snaps in two thousand eighteen allowed just four hurries. No QB hit source sacks and tied for first in pass blocking your Fisher, Steve across all NCWA tackle. How did this guy full all the way down and all like, you know, and actually trained up one fifty and Sam darnold right tackle from USC? That's. Yeah. Because he's inconsistent. And. Offense allies may insisted for seven years now. I mean, it's just they haven't been good. It's Matt Kalil and Tyron Smith left, and it it. It's a problem. Not just off. It's a line. That's why clay Helen's on the hot seat this. That's why he was drafted when he was a guy that is a little undersize for tackle. He's only six four and three hundred pounds, and this curfew me your journal you watch. Every week. You don't know what you're getting from that offense, align and he's part of. That's why he's in the third round. And and I just look I get we use those stats. I I just I almost that's out the window with offense, align is you can't you can't look at those stats, and I know people like this, and that and pro football focus at this. And he was this Carlin stuff out the window because he's playing to an offense. And sometimes he's asked to do certain things and sometimes the balls out quicker. Sometimes, you know, you you cater or you do like last year he had a freshman quarterback as well and tangles who literally no lie was right handed like literally right hand when I say right handed every ball. He throws to his right. He can throw cliff. So if I'm the right tackle, I'm probably not going to give up a lot of sex. If the quarterback and actually see the rusher from the right always coming. I'm gonna get rid of the football. So. Guys. I it's no secret guys USC is not integrate place, and Jeff you see a lot of pets that I mean that conference that conference is struggling, and I think you're seeing that USC is an NFL factory. Jeff. I don't know what you think real quick. But I think they're slipping as a as a draft factory. Yeah. Is the first time since nineteen sixty five and UCLA USC no one draft in the first two rounds? I will say we'll throw out this organs. Organ has a chance to be special next. Here their schedules is tough for for road games before toughest games. But yes, the Pac twelve has a talent problem right now at the big schools UCLA USC have got to be like washing state had players drafting hundreds of great football player. But Washington state doesn't sell the coffers USC sales conference. UCLA sounds a conference Oregon Washington, Stanford those schools have got to continue simpler, I agree with you ever coming down to the wire in Denver San Antonio had to has closed the gap in game seven against the nuggets. But when you look at him, there's no sloppiness to it. It does. Doesn't look like he's somebody who was going to be to seventy and even look at fullback, and he any place fullback too. So that means guess what you get to get rid of all the Wally. If you're us, and you're gonna see more fullback now, you're gonna see more fullback, which as Garrett call in the place. So I'm I'm cool with that. And it looked like he had some decent pop at the point of tack when he was blocking when he was filling the hole when he was a lead blocker. He showed good hands on most of the routes us all him run. I even watched him run that patented cold Beasley whip route boy, and he sat down sunk his hips and absolutely dusted. Juwan Thornhill the safety from Virginia. Yeah. He I think my the most impressive thing with him was able to see him lineup different spots. Yes. The versatility is huge. Especially when you're talking about a guy that the Cowboys. They I mean, it's move guys around. Yeah. I it's why we liked the Nick last year because Nick was able to do. Yeah. Nick fallen because he was able to line up outside. He was actually like running hitch routes selling vertically against quarters that was that was fun. Unfortunately, he got hurt was out for the year as a rookie for the lions. But my titan is a guy that I've fallen in love with. You're probably starting to hear more about them. Another small school guy Stetson tied in if you wanna call them that Donald. Look if you're a Cowboys fan, that's probably never going to happen. No ever going to happen. He's not an inline guy. He's not gonna block. But if you're looking for a guy who can line up in the slot and catch pretty much anything thrown his way that's him in you look at him at Stetson. And it literally looks like he's playing against a junior varsity football team because he is six foot eight two hundred forty five pounds and everyone else is five foot ten and looks like they had just started playing football for years ago. And the thing that I love about him is his traits translate. So well over to the next level he has super reliable Hansi catches everything. His catch radius is bonkers. He has like a thing. They said today that he had a seventy inch wingspan or something crazy like that. And it's just insane. He catches everything because of his his catch radius his wingspan his hands, and he's a pretty good route runner too. Which is is the prising because he's not the most fluid athlete. He takes very long stride..

"Mm spouse himself on special teams because that's a big part of it as well. If he can do those things I think that he's got to believe to be drafted a lot earlier than some people think potentially as early as round three. The south running backs Reich. Well, Armstead Wesley hills, Bruce Anderson and Trevan west go, and I think Anderson is getting a little bit of buzz coming in was very productive player for the bison and North Dakota state coming off their championship run. But to me, I think you look at Rockwell Armstead from temple. He's got a lot of tools that you can work with you know, he's a bigger back. He's a fiscal downhill guy. I do like his vision and his patients he works well zone run game. He's also got some quickness to them the big thing with him is that he just hasn't been able to consistently stay healthy. And it's not it hasn't been anything serious Ross. It's just been little injuries here and there where he's just kind of been dinged up. And that's just something that he's got to work through in gen true that he can be more durable. The only way to do that is to try and save you can get through this entire process without in the issues. But on Phil I think he's got pretty good film. Overall. Taking a look at the wide receivers on the north team Keelan dos. Alex, Wesley, Jalen. Smith penny. Heart Terry MacLaurin and Jacoby Myers. Yeah. And I think the. The three best. I would say the three of the four. Three of the four best players to be the small school guys. You know, you look at Keelan dos from UC Davis. I mean, he's worried we'll find out fischel numbers here today. But I think he was listed around six two and change two hundred pounds. He's a good size kid, but he moves well and he plays the ball. Really, really? Well in the air. He was very productive for them. He's a very interesting player. I had a chance to study him for the first time over the weekend. And I get with all the buzz about he's a very intriguing player with his combination of size and movement. Alex wesley. We've talked about before from northern Colorado guys speed guy. I mean, he can work vertically. But he also has a pretty good route. Right. I honestly I haven't talked enough about Alex Wesley coming into this week and all the other things that I've done because to me he could be the guy that really really helps himself because small school guy showing up that he can prove that he could show up here and create separation himself and run by people. I think that could play really well outs Wesley. Really impressed me on tape. Keep it rolling friend talking about the south receivers deebo Samuel, man. We've talked a lot about him Tyree. Brady, we've talked a lot about because I saw him hunter Renfro, David sills. You did a great story on David sills that you wrote Anthony buffalo self interesting Travis full them and Gary Jennings. A lot of people in buffalo going to be surprised that they're in the south. Yes, they do that. Because you know, they're trying to spread the town out evenly. And then also he's from I believe he's from Florida a little try and justify it that way with our main goal is to make sure that there's an even amount of talent on both sides from my is Ross the three best receivers here in terms of how they can play right now are on this roster. The depot Samuel Andy Isabella from UMass entire Brady from Marshall on all three of them win in different ways. Samuel. I love after the catch is probably the best overall receiver here in my eyes Isabella is both fast and quick. He's pretty crafty route runner he's good at the catch. Point to me. He could we could be a walking away this week thing saying like man is any Isabella's going to go first or second round and Tyree. Brady. I've said before he kinda reminds me of alshon Jeffery watching Shawn up close the last couple of years seeing what he can do Tyree Brady has a lot of those same qualities. Let's get to the tight ends. Then the north Andrew sample, Tommy Sweeney and Donald Parham. Yes..

"It's all about Trevor Warren's doing what Cutler Murray did not necessarily from that standpoint. But from a mental standpoint because Alabama will bus some coverages from time to time, and you will have some good matchups. But you gotta find him much more on Alabama. And Clemson coming up a little bit later on in the show. Also, the coaching. Wheel of destiny seems to be spinning out of control already where coaches going. We might not even know because they might change their mind in the next couple of days and decided to go somewhere else. Plus the images of the it's all coming up later on in the show in college football life. Former West Virginia head coach Dana Hoeger sit introduced today is the top dog or cat. I guess it Houston the former cougar off bits of coordinator where he worked under coach. Kevin someone a few years back back in h town and happy to be there. And my first question when I think about this Travis why I mean, why do you go from the big twelve to the American. I had to think if he wanted West Virginia to match and West Virginia wanted to match anything that Houston could put out there. They could have made that happen. I think that the relationship between Hoeger Sohn and West Virginia was a little bit strained by that point. So I think both sides were kind of happy for a fresh start when they guarantee him twenty million dollars. I think that's a good reason for him to go people are saying these leaving power five conference to go to a group of five team. But he's leaving Morgantown West Virginia where he's already really Pete. I mean, he had a heavily senior team will Greer quarterback future NFL guy. He still wasn't able. To win the big twelve with that terrific roster. I don't know how much more you'd be able to do there. If your data holders, and I think moving now was the right time matters. You hit the nail on the head. If you can't win with will Greer, Gary Jennings, David sills and the best defensive player in the big twelve. Then you're probably not going to win a big twelve championship. Not only did not win. It couldn't even get to the conference championship game. They over and understands Texas Sam etlinger, he's only a sophomore. So Texas is looking good in the future Lincoln Riley, just signed an extension. So he's about to be a force to be reckon with for us to come. Let me go ahead and go to Houston where it's a little bit easier. Why will have one of the best players in college football in the king next year already had fifty touchdowns thirteen or twelve weeks through the season, and I can instantly compete for championship. Oh, and by the way, I get twenty million dollars for him. It was a no brainer. Now. What can they do? I wonder as a group of five team because you mentioned they have the air came back. They have. Washington state on the schedule they play at Oklahoma to start the year. You got in conference central Florida later on is that schedule strong enough to run the table with the Eric Kane company, can they be considered at the end of the year in your mind for a playoff spot? No doubt about it at the point in which you have the king who is a human highlight reel again thirty six passing touchdowns fourteen rushing touchdowns and he didn't play the final two or three weeks of the season understand just how late he is..
