"Blacks because they had come from Africa. They had been victimized by black people in Africa, and that's why they were here. They heard all the junk that they get from African Americans, and they couldn't believe it. They live that they looked at it and they said, they're privileged. What the hell's going on here? And if they don't like it, they can go back to Africa, where we were and see what we went through. And and that's one of the dirty little secret. One of them. Black lives matter, you know, doesn't want you to know absolutely and and quickly going back, you know? Thank you for that national story was what was that good. I still go back to what allegedly fomented all this crap on the streets and in the cities, and that was the Minnesota case, and we don't know I don't have the autopsy report in front of you Did that guy die of the drugs or because the cop had his knee on his neck? I don't know. But the actual the actual corner's report said he had three times the lethal dose. Of fentanyl in his system upon his death, that one But what one thing Gary Jeff, that did come out immediately in the media was these two guys knew each other? They knew each other because they worked in bars in security. And so I looked at it and I thought to myself, OK, OK, maybe they have a thing. What? You have a white cop. If you have a black guy, and automatically the media assumed, of course, everybody assumed it's a racial incident. I said to you before, I don't know if it's anything it was quickly mail. This is a matter not in evidence, period. That's what I wanted to say. Thank you very much. Okay. Alright. "Man named Raymond. Hey, Gary. Jeff. Just have a question. How can you be for fracking? If you want to dismantle the oil and coal industries? That's Joe Biden. Isn't that part of the oil industry. He says President Trump destroyed by it in the debate, he caught buying and so many lives. We need four more years of a non politician that knows how to get things done and does what he says he's going to do. I agree hold outside of repealing and replacing Obama care. President Trump is fulfilled just about every campaign promise he made in 2016. The only thing that President Obama really fulfilled was When he claimed he would. He was going to radically transform American. He certainly tried Says Anyway. Great question by President Trump. Jo. You had eight years. Why didn't you get it done then? Which was an excellent question. I thought People need to ask them Selves. If they really want a politician to run this country. The greatest quote was Iran because of you. That's so true. He doesn't need the money or the position. He loves the country and is tired of politicians giving in to foreign countries. America first will get him reelected. Thank you for your time. I responded Sadly, you're preaching to the choir, and I am singing as loud as I can time now for the Tom Davis Diary referred to as Good Morning, Tommy. Morning, Gary, Jeff, and glad you brought up the election and all that stuff because we're talking freedom this morning this week. Freedom itself is being taken away right before our very eyes and other very dramatic statements, but first Back to Florida for a domestic dispute has ended with one woman covered in pumpkin. They think a rich go when his girlfriend having a little talk, they got out of hand may have felt like you failed to get his point across. So to put an exclamation point on it. I picked up a pumpkin and chuck it out there sliding glass doors. The doors didn't break for the pumpkin did, and most of it landed on his girlfriend. He was charged with assault. Now she's been called A terrible mom can see Gorby was parked at a sword West Virginia waiting for a friend to pull up. Can't got bored and started climbing on a car and despite multiple warnings, they kept climbing. So Kathy started her headed down the road. Other drivers started calling the cops saying that a mad woman just parents, it was kids hanging off of a Ford escape. Confidentially pulled her over. She told them she needed to teach our five and eight year old a lesson now making a terrible Ah couple gave their baby a ridiculous name to get free WiFi. There's a company called twice. He said it would give the first parents name their baby other try Isis or twice CIA 18 years of free Internet while the two supposed care givers name their new born baby girl, twice FIA Ain't got their 30 pieces of silver. Hopefully when, twice he is old enough, she uses that free Internet to Google emancipation. And finally, in the land of the free and the home of the brave. It's unthinkable that such an encouragement of one's basic personal freedoms could happen in broad daylight in violent New Jersey form and were arrested for trying to shoot bowling balls out of the cannon. They weren't in town or planet shoot anyone else. They were inevitable. The field somehow big brother got wind of the front spoiled everything now they also had drugs on them. But details aside. If we can't find bowling balls out of our own cannons, Do we even have a country? Best week. Man weighs down naked and intersections singing Katy Perry Song. Have a great getaway..

"Saturday morning edition for Saturday, August 29th 2020 I'm Jerry Jeff Walker. Great to be with you eight minutes past the hour. And you know, no matter what the headline scream, it truly is. It's good to be environmentally school. It was like an almost every other major social cultural event in America. It is getting better all the time, not getting worse. No matter what the protesters say, and that aside Steve Sheltie, our environmental engineer with a P E after his name joins us for environmental stuff. Good morning, Stephen. Morning, Gary Jeff. Good morning. So this morning wildfires Summit related the wildfires Little California, California is the fifth largest economy in the world, believe it or not bigger than great Britain. At the same time and has the least reliable electrical power system in the world. According to data. It has more power allergies per year than any other state in the United States, and back twice as many as the Is the next one and the two reasons for that one is its use of intermittent wind and solar power. And secondly, that it imports around one third of its electricity from surrounding states, the northwest in the Southwest, and one of the reasons why they had the power outages during the fires and whatnot. Is Double It lost power from a 1000 megawatt wind power form because wind stop blowing on. Then there was another power plant 470 megawatt power plant that unexpectedly shut down. And so that's why they had these rolling, rolling power outages and whatnot is that the surrounding states could not supply and the power that they need it. And they do a little cheating. By doing this. There's something called leaking in emissions each state. Calculates our estimates in state emissions. Well. California's accounts emissions from power uses, even though it's generated from other states, But it doesn't so That's why I can claim all these instate emission reductions because usually so much power from elsewhere. And interesting. Despite his need for power. It continues the closed power plants in 18 2003 natural gas power plants were shut down totaling about 2100 megawatts. Another power plant is going to be scheduled Shut down in 2023 about 1300 megawatts. In 2024 plan to shut down a nuclear plant at 2200 megawatts and another natural gas. A power plant about 800 megawatts in 2029 to natural gas power plants were going to shut down. If you add up, all.

"Elliot in For Gary Jeff Walker. Goingto Look Kentucky centric to start off the show and what better way to kick it off, then with Kentucky's very own Rand. Paul Center. Thank you for joining me with Rachel. Thanks. So you are in the process of getting no knock warrants band or you're trying. Tio, Where you at with that currently For a long time. I felt that the war on drugs has gone too far and that you know drugs. While there are problems are mostly a problem for the people who abused them themselves, and we got to do what we can and treat it more as a health problem. Breaking down people's door in the middle of the night. I think leads to problems. Sometimes you get the wrong house. It actually puts our policemen in danger, and I just think it is not something that is worthwhile. They got the wrong house or when people think that they're burglars coming in, and they shoot back Then the people inside get shot, which happened in Louisville recently. So we're trying to get it banned at the federal level. When we brought it forward of the Louisville Metro Council also went ahead. Brought it forward. And right now, the Louisville area and Louisville police have actually bandit so I think we are making progress. When it comes to police reform. In general, it seems like the Senate is going back and forth. One bill versus another bill. When are we going to see possibly some resolution? Maybe both sides coming together and actually working on this problem. You know, I think this is really disappointing that the Democrats chose not to work with this. They basically said, We don't want to go on any bill. It's not our own bill, but really in Congress. What happens is the party that controls the chamber brings the bill forward. So on the Democratsside. They did bring forward a Democrat bill and they didn't allow any modifications by Republicans. On the Senate side. We brought forward a Republican police reform bill. But ah, and the discussion was that the Democrats would have amendments. I actually wanted amendments, no knock Provisioned was not in the Republican plan, and I wanted to add that to it. But the only way you do that is by voting to get on the bill, and Democrats basically made the decision that they are going to run this in the election. And if they win, they'll get they want, But if they lose, we're still at an impasse. And I think there are some good reforms that are needed that we could put forward center. You kind of broke rank with your fellow Republicans went came to the No knock warrant issue. They have been less apt to want it banned. Why do you think that is Well, you know, I've been looking at what we've done with the federal warrant drugs for a long time, and there is a racial disparity is not really due to racism or prejudice or discrimination. There is a disparity and those were arrested for drugs. And the reasoning I put behind it is this If AH, rich kid in in the suburbs is smoking pot in his basement. The police are never going to catch him. They just frankly or not. But if a poor kid in the city of smoking pot Ah, it's outside, and there's other crimes going on around the police air down there because of crime. What ends up happening is poor people and African Americans predominantly get arrested much more for drug crimes, and that's one of the reasons why I became involved with not only the no knock raids. Trying to do a better job of seeing that there's another way to approach drug crimes rather than putting everybody in jail. And what are some of the initiatives that you're looking to push forward in terms of The war on drugs and possibly pushing it away from a war quote unquote to actually solving the drug problem that America's facing right now. We've been looking at. I'm on various bills with other Democrat with Democrats. And on most of these bills, Kirsten Joel Brandt and I have a bill called Carers act that schedules marijuana at a lower level and allows for more use of medical marijuana things like that, or step forward that most of the public is now for As faras Civil asset forfeiture. This is when the government takes your money. If you're pulled over on the side of the road, and you have $1000 they say, Where did you get it? And then you have to prove that you got it from Ah, legitimate source, So they take it from you. Even if they don't charge you of a crime. That's something we've been trying to fix. We don't think tank should be in the street. We don't think that bayonet should be used by policemen. So this is another thing called militarization of the police that we're trying to prevent. So I think there is common ground between the two parties. Frankly, the other side I'm a little disappointed with when President Obama was president. You know, I wasn't a big fan. I wasn't a supporter, but I went to the White House many times to try to get criminal justice reform done. When Donald Trump came in, he took some convincing, but he ended up being the one who got it passed. You know, we got the first step back, which gets rid of some of the mandatory minimum sentencing gets rid of some of the life sentences for nonviolent drug crimes. All of these are good things. Right now. I think the the other side has gone to excess. Now they want to defund the police and they're making people like me who have been advocates very nervous about even wanting to associate with them because de funding the police has a really, really, really stupid idea. Senator when you hear de funding the talk of de funding, and then you hear talk about civil service is being brought in. Teo pick up the slack. Let's say for those police, they're not going to be out on the streets any more. Do you ever wonder where that money can come from without defunding? Because when I hear de funding, I think Well, Money's gotta come from somewhere right, And we don't necessarily want to raise taxes. So you're taking it out this pot Tio pay these people and it's not necessarily the best option but without raising taxes. Is there another option? I guess what I'm worried about in de funding the police and this villain ization the polices. What happened? You know that cute little girl that shot in Atlanta that last weekend, Sir Korea, Turner, I think was her last name. Here's the problem is they let the streets just goto absolute mayhem. The mayor of Atlanta allows blockades and this is where they after the shooting of that Ray shard Brooks. They burned the Wendy's down. Then they blockaded the streets. And this family just got turned down the wrong street. And this little girl was shot, but they're shot because we're now telling the police were going to arrest the police for anything. Any use of force. And it really has gone beyond the pale defund the police let protesters and riders occupy the streets. There were shootings in Seattle. So really, while I'm all in for Curbing some of the abuses and on four police reform and have been for a decade or more. I'm actually right now worried. Mohr aboutthe lawlessness in the chaos in our cities. Because look, our cities have been run by Democrats for 50 years, and we look at all of these problems. Really. People need to be staring in the face there. Democrat mayors there Democrat police chiefs that are no longer Protecting lives in their cities. Chicago What a night? Absolutely, I mean, and it's not getting better, unfortunately, is getting progressively worse. So, but it takes somebody like you. This work for the mainstream, which equals Main Street America rhyme. And while there are problems with police brutality, they probably pale in comparison to the shootings and the murderers that air just the common criminality of our cities..

"Hundred and eighteen views of recall Gary Jeff would you and think about all the weird stuff you've seen this year in the run up to the democratic caucus in Iowa next month and the ensuing primaries to follow to try and pick somebody to face off against president trump the incumbent in November the twenty twenty elections we've seen Andrew Yang skateboarding in body serve and we sold the better Rourke skateboard he's Casey skateboarder this way right out of the race head is Saul bellow Robert Francis getting the ear hair trimmed son get his teeth cleaned so I'm trying to change a tire that was really pathetic we've seen all kinds of candidates to all kinds of strange things member list with worn casually having a beer I think I'll have a beer a major production out of opening a beer and her husband who was right there in the kitchen with wanted nothing to do with the exercise in false authenticity Elizabeth Warren has claims he's got a plan for everything and she's detailed some of those plans without too much detail like the Medicare for all that it was discovered later would cost fifty two trillion dollars no government is already spending us into oblivion we're twenty three trillion plus and that but another fifty two trillion I just a drop in the bucket not gonna matter whatever and all these other plans was with Ellis with worn by the way dropping in the polls and this is not going to help her her latest effort to to get the word out that she's got a plan for everything in an interview with elle magazine this week as saying that she's got a plan for everything she even offered dating advice to one of their readers who wrote I've been casually dating a guy for the past three months but now he's coasting me he won't return my text but he still looks at all my Instagram stories what should I do and Elizabeth Warren responded in kind give them up you're too good for him if he wants to go silent let him go he is not the one for you guys to do that to your your because that's the empowering women kind of thing from Elizabeth Warren's point of view her her friendly advice he's already goes to her which means she is dumped you can't dump someone who is already dumped you Elizabeth course and I'm sure it's been years since Elizabeth Warren dated anyone would you would hope so she's hopefully a happily married woman it's just the biggest only in the world they all are there's one authentic candidate on the Democrat side his name is Bernie Sanders and lo and behold he's the one who's tops in the polls in Iowa now for the caucuses that are coming up next month it's not sleepy Joe or crazy Joe or dementia Joe it's not mere Pete Bernie Sanders not always with Warren I'm not saying it's gonna be Bernie Sanders nomination although it did it looking more and more like it could be barring some kind of surprise late entry on a brokered convention but he's the only one who truly believes what he says and knows who he is this is lotion socialist slash communist he doesn't make really any bones about that he vacationed in the Soviet Union for his honeymoon with his wife fine but it least be honest about who you are Elizabeth Warren hasn't been honest about who she is four years first claiming false false ethnicity claiming she was native American because that was the story her mother told her grandma whatever number the DNA test I would say there's a ninety nine percent of chance that you've got egg on your face Elizabeth Warren mayor Pete this is not a leg to stand on as far as any kind of leadership when you're the mayor of south bend Indiana and the city has been falling apart continually under your watch Cory Booker no not on the debate stage not on all the other wannabes who already come and gone it was sad to note that Marianne Williamson was not part of the pack anymore the spiritualist the one who would use love as your weapon and be president trump on the field of battle with low kinda like terror but you know the crazy stargazer was more authentic than live Elizabeth Warren has ever been in her entire life Elizabeth Warren the woman who claims she was fired from a T. teaching job because she was visibly pregnant when it was her decision not to go back not the other way around they didn't fire her they they fact offered or contract well she was physically pregnant if there's a way to be a victim Elizabeth Warren claim she is one just follow me in the dating advice is the same thing Khan but it least maybe it it gives her a shot if it were good advice it would give her a shot at doing an advice column when this falls on its on its face for being a failed campaign I mean I don't think she'll be able to sit around and drink Chardonnay she did make millions of dollars with her husband off of you know her fake charity foundation quid pro quo like Hillary Clinton did she can't just sit around and drink Chardonnay and come up with the reasons why she lost but maybe that's her career lives with warns career this is an advice columnist she needs to get better at it you're not gonna put dear Abby out of business anytime soon but give him up you're too good for him if he wants to go silent let him go he's not the one for you guys to do that now your I was with I hope you're better than that when it comes to giving advice in elle magazine or anywhere else can be very very interesting Bernie is the only real deal and I disagree with everything he proposes pretty much but he's the only real one left in the hole in the whole field of wanna be's for the Democrats we'll see a break for news and as Steve Solti with environmental stuff when we turn around the bend here on the Saturday morning edition on.

"The left-hander would say Gary Jeff Walker with you on the nightcap on this Monday night. We talked to my friend, my IT guru, call the mad Hatter Dave had who's also the mayor of fort, right? And a tech specialist on all matters technology nineteen that we can discuss how loud anyway. Mr hyder. How are you? Good, Gary, Jeff, how're you doing well doing well first thing I just saw this today. And I don't know if you're privy to it or not. But apple just announced that they are removing these apps on kids phones that let parents limit. What they see? Did you hear anything about this? So they're going to get rid of. Well, okay. So these are the kind of apps for you get hide and other app inside him. So pair wouldn't know kind of thing. No, no, these these are apps were they can shut down their kids use of certain apps on the phone and for their part. They said it was about other hackers getting into these apps and privacy issues. I. I always thought it was a great thing if if a parent could actually limit what their children see certain age. Don't you? Yeah. I would agree. L phone carriers will provide some parental control capabilities so variety sprint guys. Typically will have something kind of out of the box. You can use regardless of what type of phone you have. And then do go through Android and apple to Iowa have typically provided to control, and then there are other third party software. You can get because makes us really tricky to control. Gary Jeff is. Let's say you have a computer and you have an Android tablet, an apple iphone. Well, the phone is probably connecting to the internet wifi, but also can get on the internet over the carrier. So you have different channels. You can use you have different software and each one of these things. So as a parent it can be really difficult to try to control this stuff. Anyway, why apple would come in an attempt to remove that kind of capability the explanation? I heard was an apple said that hackers from outside could get in these apps and somehow affect the privacy of children are what I did it sounded like an altruistic explanation. From while. We're talking I'm kind of searching, and I'm not coming up of anything on it. I'm sure they have some reason that make sense to them. But without really fully understand that it's hard for me to understand why they would want to take away any kind of control apps because I would agree with you in general that kids probably spend way too much time on this stuff. And unfortunately, it's not difficult to to go online and do a search in finding gambles of predators who are using, you know, very social media sites, and this type of technology to get the kids so being able to limit what they can do having insight into what they're doing. I think is a good thing. And parents should probably spend more time understanding what their kids are doing in trying to limit their time. Sure online, then taking away tools that would be able to to prevent that provide insight into it in a headline that was out in a store yesterday. From an emigrant Harrison in Dublin inside Facebook's war room, the battle to protect EU, you elections and the first paragraph is less than three years ago. Facebook's chief executive Mark Zuckerberg dismissed it's crazy. The idea that fake news on his platform could have influenced the election of Donald Trump is US president. It goes on today. The company admits it's under seed from billions of fake accounts trying to game it system to win elections make money or influence people in other ways and battling. Nami fake news disinflation hate speech, and they're trying to delete these fake accounts. What do you know about that? It's funny. I was just reading this story right before we out on this call, and I think it's long overdue probably that Facebook and Twitter and all these social media site attempt to purge the fake accounts. And it's been a well known for a long time on Twitter that many of the accounts out there fake, and that people are attempting to control the news cycle trying to make things up by using these steak counts in Boston before. And it looks like Facebook is finally comes to this as well. It's it's a little bit hard for me when they say accounts the last number I saw for Facebook. And I could be wrong about two billion active users, so I print or if that's really accurate millions of of fake account. I'm sure it's probably true. And. And again, if you're trying to control the news cycle, if you're trying to get people to read information that you want them to see if you can make a twin on Facebook or Twitter. Getting people. That you want them to see if you dig down into this article, they did talk about some elections in Spain and so forth and right? Spain. Every nearly one point seven million people. It have discovered posted by the Trump campaign in the US and violated. Facebook's rules now, I didn't get all the way through this article. And it seems to be, of course, pointing out only right wing bias, which I think is almost hilarious when you think about Facebook. Clearly. Has been going on for some time because if you can create these fake accounts. And you can get them all saying the same thing, you can to a certain extent control. What people are seeing based on the way, the our work. If you're a political person if you're behind these campaigns and so forth. I totally understand why you would take advantage of these tools. But I also think it's again well over well overdue that Facebook and Twitter and these guys are starting to take this stuff series. So hold on. You said something important here. Instructive I think talking to Dave Hatter or IT guy. So you've got all these different accounts or platform saying the same thing, you know, like MSNBC CNN ABC NBC CBS the New York Times Washington, then then there's a problem. Yeah. Well. No. All that unusual. But if you also think about because there's there's been a lot of research listeners to check this out. So so. Research done around Dougal and how Google search engine. Manipulate the news and can manipulate elections and so forth because. Most people use Google search. In fact, they got about seventy percent. The market share of any that search based on any kind of a good measure, and so most people go to type something in, you know, now Google that predictive capability whereas you start typing. It's. Guess what it is? You're looking for. And you know, if you look at the way people use Google, they rarely go past the first page of results, so guide you towards an answer, and you go, and it gives you answers that they want you to see that are biased somehow just like burning stories on Facebook or Twitter. There's a certain amount of control that they have over. What people see? And again, there's been some interesting studies done that attempt to show bias there. I'll let people decide for themselves when you go do the research. But if if the topic is trending on Twitter Twitter of all public by default when people post up on Twitter impacts. Doing as well. So these things are all interconnected, and yeah, it's it's really interesting that this is all starting to come out. You know, as we are getting close to another important election cycle here. A few more moments with Dave Hanner of the IT guy on the nightcap in just a few here on seven hundred wwl.

Scott drought may not be a name that is nationally known at a time in the late nineteen eighty s in early nineteen ninety s if you were a college basketball fan, you might have had your ears perk up with the mention of the name, Scott trout, but on the verge on the eve before the NC, double A men's college basketball championship. We'll talk to Scott about what it's like to be in the tournament the environment, and especially for and let's face it. They're young men, but they're really kids eighteen to twenty two twenty three playing on some of the biggest stages in the world. We know what it's like for experienced adults to play on some of the biggest stages in the world, and they often falter and. Fail in that bright spotlight. Can you imagine being eighteen nineteen twenty years old playing in front of twenty thirty in the national championship scenario, sometimes sixty or seventy thousand people? The biggest moment of your life, and you better perform, so I think it'll be interesting discussion still to come on tonight show as well. We'll have Karen keta lean who is talking about sanctuary cities. And obviously immigration illegal immigration is one of the biggest topics at work at play today in American society, the president once again on the border with Mexico and southern California this past week and still calling for Mexico to either stop the flow of illegal immigrants or we will shut off business at the border, which I think is a horrible idea for the economies of countries. And President Trump has been first and foremost an economic president. There's no doubt. The results are clear the proof is in the pudding. So do you want to put a stop put a brake on that economic engine strictly over keeping people who shouldn't be in this country out of the country? Also, still to come my friend, J Armstrong who's a stand up comedian and a stand up guy on the issue of opioid addiction and addiction in this country and the lives that have been lost President Trump's response to it. He's been more than thirteen years sober now from everything. He'd also been to federal prison. He'd also effectively they had ruined his life. He let them ruin his life and his story. I think it's it's a unique story, and it's not a one-size-fits-all kind of solution. But what he's going through and some of his ideas on how to stop this insanity of overdoses and suicide and lives ruined in this country. I think they're all great topics. "This abbreviated nightcap after you see basketball, Gary Jeff Walker on seven hundred wwl w joining us the head of the northern Kentucky tea party, Scott Hoster on but on some of the political. Theatrics going on in Washington DC. Well, President Trump is in Hanoi. Vietnam. Trying to iron out serious events around the globe with Kim Jong UN and the second North Korean summit, Scott. How are you doing seeming, Gary, Jeff, I'm doing well, just just to clarify something real quick? Jan scab doll is the head of the northern Kentucky party. I head up state tea party leadership team. Oh, well, I don't wanna get short shrift to Jan. God sakes. So anyway, Scott as leader of a political faction in the entire state of Kentucky. How did you feel about the Democrats timing on this which was purposeful? And we don't know what's going to happen. As a result of this summit with Kim Jong UN and President Trump, and it's certainly not going to be North Korea lays down or dismantles all their nuclear weapons as a result of this set can summit, but they did it purposefully because the president was out of the country. And I I find this very disturbing. How do you? How do you see this call political theater, and you're right? They timed it for this moment. He's not there. They're taking advantage of that nothing more than trying to keep their base for the next election. That's about and I don't know if you saw any of the testimony of Michael Cohen demand who has been convicted of lying to congress and was asked again before congress to under oath lie or tell the truth again. How can you tell if he's lying this time? It reminds me of the old Gary Burbank care journey member Gary Burbank. Yeah. The radio host a character called big fat. He said any one of those tag lines was I'm tell you truth this time, how do we tell Michael Cohen telling the truth or not was he telling the truth before when he was convicted of lying, or is he telling the truth now, even today, Jim Jordan recommended him for additional criminal charges based on his testimony. You can't believe anything Cohen says he's convicted of wine. Admitted today congress he's trying desperately could cut a deal to reduce his prison time. He knows he's going to prison. Do anything to reduce that time. You can't believe a word. The man don't you find it a bit more than just disingenuous that Elijah Cummings in the Democrats? They're doing exactly what they said. They were going to do an elections do have consequences when the Democrats took control of the house of representatives in November of last year. You knew this was coming, but to have their first witness be someone who is close to President Trump or was close to President Trump who was already found to be a known perjurer testify, and for them to rely on his testimony this time to try and trap President Trump in crimes or or non crimes or things that are supposed crimes are alleged crimes. Many of them happened before he was even president. It really doesn't make much sense except that as we mentioned, it's political theater, and it's all about the Gotcha syndrome. That is. In Washington with another election on the way. Thomas Massie sent some good up. Well today when he said Cohen is probably leaked. Credible witness. We've ever had in front of this committee. Exactly right in. You're right. It's just political theater. They're trying to keep the tension. They cannot. They walk and they will do anything to try to knock down his brand. And to try to do anything. They can to win this next election. And it's going to be an absolute circus what little bit I saw Elijah Cummings was talking about how elections have consequences and the twenty eight team midterm elections were a mandate from the American people, they still refuse to admit or acknowledge that the twenty sixteen presidential election was a mandate of the American people. And this is there. Obama said it when he won election elections have consequences. The consequences when they go the way of the Democrats. It's amazing. And I know that you're not an always Trumper. We've talked about this before Scott, and neither am I although more times than others I side with the president's policies and some of the things that he's done in his two years in office, which have been a pretty miraculous turnaround in the American economy, whether that sustains or not is another question. But the absolute fact of the matter is no matter what the Democrats say or the establishment politicians say in Washington. He is definitely shaken things up. This is one of the reasons I voted for him in two thousand sixteen it wasn't about. I was just absolutely. I don't know taken by his charismatic. You know, Trump wave of of the apprentice kind of mentality. It wasn't that. I believe that he was a savior of the nation. I believe that he was a better. Choice in Hillary Clinton, but you can't ignore. Well, some people can a lot of ninety percent of the mainstream media can ignore some of the accomplishments of this administration. Just two years in. Yes. I think I had very serious concerns, obviously during the election, and I still have some concerns. I think he he among others has been able to make things happen where someone who is a career politician gauges things very differently someone who isn't a career politician who has over the career political ambitions. He's going to do things differently. And and I think he's approach has been very successful. A lot of cases, I still have a concern that our national debt is growing out of control more than twenty two trillion. Well know what? Somebody else we were talking about this talking about the the deficit has exploded under President Trump it doubled during President Obama's term term in eight years. It went it went from ten trillion twenty trillion. So to say again that President Trump is the reason that our deficit or our debt has increased is true. And a friend of mine said you'll never reduce the debt until you address baseline spending in congress. And that's absolutely true. And people blame trope for the debt. Blamed for the exploding debt with congress and they're out of control spending key only approves or vetoes they're spending. They're the ones congress and the house of representatives in particular where all the bills that spend money have to originate here the ones that are out of control with the spending. We are so spending is not fair the federal government so far this year has taken in a record amount. This is even with the tax cuts a record amount of revenue from tax returns. So far this year. Spending more than we're still spending more than that. And that again full squarely on the shoulders of the congress the house and the Senate who refused to address baseline spending who refused to ignore the fact that discretionary spending it's all discretionary spending in Washington DC, and the fact that I go back to the the latest government shutdown and I sat on the air at the time. It's Congress's job to approve funding to keep the federal government going. It's not the president's job. He will either sign or not sign any kind of legislation. They put forth, but it is Congress's job. It's the president's job is commander in chief under the constitution as a chief executive to help keep the American people save it's Congress's job to Levy taxes and approved funding. You're absolutely correct. That a couple of years ago, I had a conversation or tried to have a conversation with congressman Brett Guthrie of my district. He was talking about how he hit voted for a balanced budget Bill that was working its way through the house. And I read the Bill in the Bill was very weak, and it allowed them to borrow whatever money they needed to make the budget balanced. And when I tried to bring that up to him he didn't wanna talk about that. Well, it's amazing too. When you see the leftist move, the socialist move in the democrat party to the far left with some of the new fresh members of the cheerleader smiling cheerleader ignorance as I call Alex Andrea Cortes, an all when they ask about how these proposed bills and legislation is going to get paid for. We'll just ask the Federal Reserve to print more money at the same time. Total chaos anarchy and bloodshed. Shed and starvation is breaking out in countries like Venezuela where they just printed money because of not just because of socialism, but because of. The mass. What what's the word? I'm. Well, the mass inflation, but it's caused by all of this. This absolute malfeasance on the part of the government in what was used to be the richest country in South America, one of the richest countries in the world as far as their reserves in their abilities to create wealth. And this is the same kind of path. We're going to go down really looked at her green deal. The estimated cost without overrun is currently ninety four trillion dollars. It's more. It's more. It's more than the debt of the entire world. Exactly. Exactly. Right. It is greater than the GDP of the entire world. And they don't see that as a problem. To pay for that..

"Peter's joins us again into the new year. I two bulldog barks before midnight or twenty nineteen and as much as the counter has changed things in Washington. Shirley, have not first off I off bulldog. We called it tedious for the first two years of President Trump's presidency, Trump derangement syndrome, and it's been everywhere the mainstream media, the Democrats, especially the far left the social democrat and the Washington establishment status quo. They're just crazy because this man is president and outsider who is a businessman who has in spite of all of their efforts achieved some great successes in his first two years in office. But now, there's a brand new syndrome. You you wanna know what it is? What is it's b I t s because because it's Trump syndrome, and the Democrats have shown this at with obviousness to anyone that is paying. Attention in American. Fortunately, or rather, unfortunately, our attention spans aren't too damn long. But the same people who voted voted for border security border fencing are now refusing it because it's Trump not because of any other legitimate reason that they would have cited before because they didn't cite it when they were voting for it. And now they're not voting for it. Because it's Trump. It's b I t s because it's Trump syndrome. What do you think of that? Sounds good. You know, Gary Jeff Walker one of the things that I think your listeners will appreciate as a comparison is is politicians are the worst people in the world, and they they will say stop do things. And and and and it's it's as if they never said, it those quotes about the wall and border security that have been spoken to pass by Schumer Pelosi Hillary and Barack Obama. I mean, it's just fact and I was thinking today Gary Jeff Walker. One of the beautiful things. And by the way, the jury trial is not perfect or the great thing about the way. We try cases is the witness would be in the stand humor sitting there in African witness stand jury over here, and you get the freaking question and cross examining. And you put the heat on. I want to show you Mr. Schumer up here on the video screen. This is what you said, it isn't a true. That's what you said is unlike in the political arena. Says Mr. Schumer answer the question, and the jury is to sit there and look at it. Hey, look, like, a complete fool or be listening to whatever you try to explain it away cheery.

"Kahlo Gary Jeff Walker in for Bill Cunningham live with you on a Sunday night across the nation. One eight six six six four seven seven three three seven. I'm going to take a couple of these calls folks have been nice and patient to wait on the line. See what you have to say Mark in Ohio. How are you? Hello, Mark in Ohio. How are you doing? Great. Just got on the delay. Hit me there. Hey, listen, twenty nine you know, there's a saying the speak truth to power. I think we need to speak truth to the propagandized in two thousand nineteen because it's going to be the four hundred anniversary of slaves coming to America. They're going to tie that in with Trump somehow, it's like four hundred years of racism, you know, we've got to end it with Trump bunk. We were we were the second country in world history to abolish slavery, a lot of people don't realize that a lot of people don't realize that these so-called black groups like our black defense groups like black lives matter. Never talk about four hundred thousand black babies aborted every year. You know, there's always a catch with these people. They never tell the whole story, and they get people all riled up. And they forget about the accomplishments accomplishments. This nation has made. We're not perfect. But I tell you what if we don't start speaking the truth doesn't. Start getting out there to these propagandized emotionally worked up people the fighting's going to only get worse. Well, plus, they focused on things that really have no bearing on most people's lives when you're talking about the agenda and it spreads to our elected representatives. Who again as I mentioned at the top of the show are simply not doing their job. And I certainly they will continue to not do their job. And they'll focus a nonsense issues when people call himself progressives. And you talk about looking back at four hundred years of slavery or the oppression of inequality for women in the workplace. They don't sound very progressive to me because they keep looking back there regressive regress. We are. We are at a point in this nation as you mentioned. We're not perfect. No human constructed government will ever be perfect. This is the system that gives more people a chance to be more responsible and have more opportunity than any other system of government on the face of the earth. And when we grab a hold of that and realize that instead focusing on that that's when we'll really move forward. Mark, exactly. And they don't want to focus on the fact, you can make it if you put your nose to the grindstone this country, you know, and people outside of this country know that, and that's why they wanna come here, you know, and I don't mean to keep talking about the slavery thing, but they're gonna also they'll never quit trying to take our guns away. Because that's the first thing that happened to the Jews in Nazi Germany, the guns were taken away after that everything was essentially hate to say it. But it's true every totalitarian government ever the first move. They've made is to disarm the citizenry. Exactly. And the thing they need to remember is slaves couldn't own guns. That's why they were slaves. Very simple. Good point. All right, Mark. Thank you very much for your time. Happy new year, thanks for chiming in and Jane in Nevada just on the topic that we were discussing before the break was Scott Balan and the smoking and tobacco issues. Hello, jane. Hi, talk to me. I wanna say. That people have been smoking beginning of time. And then there's another faction of people that have always tried to make him stop smoking and people right to smoke, even the ones that are quit over the years. And then these busy bodies always try to boss them around. And I've been smoking since I was six years old. And today's my birthday, I'm seventy three and I am never sick. And even I get my physical. My lungs are good. Everything is good. And I smoke all the time. God bless you are an aberration. Jane, you're not the normal person. By parents, folks. So we sell their cigarettes, and you started smoking at age six. And that hundred and twelve year old man decided in the United States. The oldest living veteran smoking cigars and whisking see pieces on. We have boss other people around, and I think they need to mind their own business. Jane, I appreciate your telephone call. And I don't mean to boss you around. But I need to move on is it. Okay. I had I enjoyed it. Thank you very much. What Mark spoke to about the American dream. And why this is not a perfect country. It's at a perfect system. No system. Our country is no form of government is. But it's the most perfect this Republic of ours. And we still have a chance to save it our guest in the studio is a perfect example of the American dream. He's gonna look at me in a minute ago. What? But it's true. In this country today, even today with all of the obstacles that are put up in front of us mostly by government, and bureaucracies and people trying to boss us around those who believe in the nanny state. Well, this is a great country. Because no matter where you are no matter where you were born no matter what color your skin is. No matter what religion you were born into you still have the chance to do wonderful things. You have the opportunities that people in third world countries would dream. I mean, it would be like the ultimate dream just to have the opportunity now with the opportunity does not come immediate success and fortune doesn't come with equal outcomes. But you have the opportunity I have the opportunity to make anything we want to ourselves in this country. When we lose that. We've lost everything. The person joining me in the studio tonight. Gary Jeff from the Bill Cunningham show coast to coast person joining me in the studio. Was severely addicted to alcohol to drugs. Probably almost killed himself a thirteen or fourteen times which jail at one time was up on federal prison charges literally he had run his life into the ground. Somehow. He saw the light. And for thirteen years, clean and sober. He is a perfect example of the American dream. If you set your mind to something in this country, you have a chance to become anything you want to become from where you've come. So my friend J Armstrong went from being a drug addict an alcoholic and a criminal to now today successfully working in a vape shop, we'll talk with Scott Balan a few minutes ago. We'll talk a little bit with Jay about alternatives to cigarette smoking. And there are some out there. Very viable ones. But he's a stand up comedian. He's a father is a family. He has a home. He was homeless at one time because you know, what Jay Armstrong made the decision. You know, I still have a chance to do this because this is America and America is a country. Thank God gives us all second chances. How many second chances have you had in your life? Have I had in my life. Jay took his second chance. And because he's in a country that allows it and gave him the opportunity once he dug himself out of that hole to become anything. He wanted to and something much different than what he wants before same guy different outcome because of the great opportunity the America lens to each one of its citizens. And this is an important thing. We'll talk to Jane just a moment right now. Chris and New York. How are you? I'm good light. While you're doing a good job, Jerry. We'll thanks. I I guess I better they're paying me for it. I think. Well, the first thing I want to say is re in regards to your your discussion on on cigarettes nicotine and whatnot. Is it? If the government didn't really want people to get into these things, they would be putting a episodes of this stuff on public TV and on the you know, the little kitty shows they play in the morning. So so what kind of episodes are you suggesting the government put on Chris? Well, they would. It's not very hard to to detect that you get into trouble. When you're smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol and all this stuff. But they don't they don't put any of that stuff on the little kitty shows on public TV. But but the the main thing I wanted to talk to you about this. I was very very impressed with your beginning on the borders that I think we've got to protect our borders because it, but let's talk about the country is if it was a house if you woke up in the morning and the doors were off your house, the first thing you would do is to put some doors back on your house. So the first thing that I know Chris the first thing I would do would go look for my cat because I know he's gotten outside. But yeah, put the doors back on your house. Absolutely. Yeah. And then the next thing that you were talking about after he got the doors back on the house. If you if you were studying, your finances, and you saw your. Going into debt you say, I'm I don't want to go into debt anymore. So I think that the the most basic message, I can broadcast to people tonight is think of the country is if it's your house and drink would you like the house without any doors on it? And it's and would you think if you're going into jewelry at your checkbook, golly did the debt would you? Would you want to be going into debt? That's my message, Gary. All right. Thank thank you very much, Chris and thank you for tuning in and happy new year to you. We'll come back, and we'll talk to Jay Armstrong and more of your phone calls. Get one eight six six six four seven seven three three seven Gary Jeff Walker on the Bill Cunningham show live on a Sunday night..

The Fisher took him to the island are all in custody right now. How about the ones who did the murder? Well, no because they're part of this island culture reactions that have you know, the Sengalese killed this guy. No one saying the murder. You gotta go there and somebody.
