"I saw killer bunny eighty eight. Yeah drag her hope. Hope you're not a list. Hope you're not part of lgbtq and sure. Oh my husband. And i listened very closely to the words used and not used trump. Never use the word concede. He never mentioned biden. Her hair's to congratulate them or even referred to the administration. He did not even say new administration which i believe could be in reference to him appointing a new vp like mike flake. Yeah every fast. I've seen i don't know. I'm hanging on until inauguration day people can call me a larger someone addicted to the hopi him. The way they talk so funny but this whole video seemed really weird to me and then the comments are like i'm with you. Peed call each other peed. which is short for centipede. The trump's are all a part of big human centipede like these people are setting creators. there are talking in code like this out in the heat in new one was a new one. Which i'm like okay. Did they watch human centipede. So they're admitting that they're all in a mouth to butthole lineup. Eating bullshit well quite a week. Were you able to be gay melody. did anything debut. Squeeze it and absolutely okay. After the week. We've had yesterday alley. And i drove down to kohl's the closest kohl's is at the southern most point basically of brooklyn like below ben hurst by the water. It's like on the water. It's kind of nice by this huge target. We all of our nicest chain stores in new york city are on the water kia view of the statue of liberty. Yeah we drove by it. It was nice. We're like okay. Knew it was nice because we went there last week because there's an amazon return center if you have something really big. You can't just like return easily in brooklyn you have to go down to kohl's and that's the closest call so then we went there and we got some kitchen glasses. We went home after last weekend. Buying them what are you know. They're all broken. Twenty twenty one energy so really bad to drive back to the colds this past weekend to return them and we're let's make a day of it. That's where we're at and the pandemic. Let's make a day of going to the nice kohl's on the water lesson. Cecilia was like. Can we do something fun tonight. I'm like what what are we gonna do. Like our options are staying in and watch a movie. You wanna go bowling. I don't understand what kind of funny things we can have right now. That was all we could come up with and we we went down there. We drove parked and like walked along an expressway. It was very loud. it was very windy. It was uncomfortable and not pleasant. But we're like provide the water. We learned that we were actually on an estuary which is where fresh water meets. Salt water like the hudson river meets the ocean all of our geography. Dykes just got very wet. I know that was for. Y'all and allie and i after the week we'd all had we re just screamed into this jewelry we leaned over the rails and we let out primal screams. Okay garden state. Yeah it was. I made that comment. It was her idea. And i said like garden garden state but make an estuary we screamed and then allies yup. I am screaming estuary. next to kohl's years old. Can i quickly say speaking of primal screams. Cecilia and i are still at the hotel because our house still has no bathroom and right heard were woken up in the middle of the night by some primal screams..

"Democrats aren't going to bring back like coal jobs or manufacturing jobs and there's this sense of loss of like pride loss of dignity loss of loss of like obviously like financial standing standing as well Not wanting just like what they see as like sympathy handouts socialism but wanting lake. I don't know this is america. First rhetoric appeals to them. People want to feel like the winner. People want to. You know i guess. People a lot of these people will attribute like sending jobs to china for instance for like taking away the industries that used to thrive where they live. I mean and to some extent has true but a lot of is also automation. So it's you know it's not just that but i think that's you know. Trump's china rhetoric rhetoric kind of connects about that with in that way. But you'd think four years later when matt manufacturing has not been factored earned. And like you'd think there would start to get disillusioned with trump so i don't know it is kind of I mean someone really should do. I'm sure there's people who i should seek this out. People who like interviews go across the country and and asks trump supporters. Would you doing. yeah. I mean there will ask. All gas. no breaks is kind of great. He's the one who told me like dude. He told me before the election. Like trump is definitely going to win. Because i travel around the country and everybody's maga- out so he was pretty confident that trump was gonna win but apparently he's got something coming out. That should be really good. That's pretty much exactly what you just said. But i'm kind of i'm more care. I'm very curious about You as a person if i can switch gears chore Where did you grow up. where are you from. I grew up in a suburb of washington. Dc northern virginia. Oh washington dc is. Your is your family in politics. Now they're not Although many people in d. c. r. i knew when i was growing up. I knew a lot of people who are like the chiltern on lobbyists or van ra for example. Which is in northern virginia. Like being in you think being around politics like that formed. You're kind of worldview as an it was i think probably to some extent like it was definitely like very often discussed to growing up. Like it's something that's on people's mind you know. I was in middle school when nine eleven happened and a lot of i just remember the other kids crying and school because their parents work at the pentagon the planes flew into the pentagon so it it it is kind of like it very much on people's minds there but Yeah i don't know to what extent that like necessarily influenced me now except that it is. It's made me sort of remember thinking about politics as early as as being a kid. Yeah what are your parents. Do for a living or today. Share your your politics as well. I well my my mom's a medical doctor and my dad's a college professor and they are they are both Democrats i would say that. I'm i don't know i don't know. Actually i don't really if talk politics so i don't wanna speak for them back but i feel like maybe a little bit a little bit too left of them in the way that like most young people have an obligation. I think to be a little more left but Yeah no it's not. It's not like i was raised in lake. I don't come from a conservative family. Your your Your college days kind of interesting because you were going for a phd in philosophy right. That's right and they just. You bounced out of boredom. I think you described it as. Yeah yeah i really could not stand graduate school like i know i liked I guess i was in high school. I was icon. Almost failed out of high school is terrible student. Yeah well i. When i was in high school i all i cared about was music like i played several instruments and i just wanted to play music all the time i was. I haven't had a hard adolescence. I was very angsty lake. I doubt without by playing music. So i actually tried to drop out of high school but you know my my parents and the school was kind of like no. You're not doing that. But they kind of like made a deal with me where they let me take music classes in high school and so i managed to get a high school degree that way. I spent two years out of music college. Berkeley college of music in boston as a piano student. When i graduated high school i switched. Yeah sorry go ahead interrupt. You know like i asked this question now because i've got to move on well. I'm just wondering what was so tough about your high school that you were you know about to drop out of high school. I think i was just. I was just very depressed as a teenager. Yeah i was just having a hard time. And i dealt without by retreating into music. I didn't to think about anything else. I didn't want. I didn't want to take math classes. I just wasn't having. Were you like confused about your gender identity. Back in high school was up our of the depression or is it something else. I think there's some of that. I think i it's. It's hard to say. how much is what. In retrospect you know what i mean like. How much is this like. Gender and everyone says gets worse adolescents. How much of it is I don't know like clinical depression. Which i was treated for pretty extensively at the time I i had a lot of psychiatry growing up My parents being in my dad's a psychology professor. My mom's a doctor so there was a lot of A lot of a lot of starting out. When i was like eight years old like like that kind of that kind of child head. You know i see you know having does having doctors and and psych. Your dad's psychiatrist or or like a therapies. And he's an academic psychologist but like both my parents. I think they kind of felt like a little bit qualified to have like mental health judgments about their kids. What do you think about that growing up with parents. Who feel like they they can have this kind of they feel like they. Can you know diagnose you to some extent is that without it was very much my experience and some of the things. I think they got something wrong. Like i was kind. They got ready to the depression site. That was real. But i think i was like misdiagnosis like ocd We and if you go back and look at a lot of the things. They were complaining about their Calling me ocd rituals. Like a. so i was. I was a boy at the time Just his people didn't pick up at the at the time that this i just be like. Oh well he spends too long with his hair he spends too long league. It's too much brooming. There's too much concern for all this kind of and it's like i don't know with this guy. I doubt would not be seen as a psychiatric symptom. If i had been born a girl you know. Yeah yeah. I was though even in even if you were a boy to seems like a stretch it was it was too much there is a it was a little bit too much. Psychiatry going on for you. Know i have a member of my family. Who's younger. Who's also prescribed adderall. At a young age like similar years. And i've always felt like i personally was never comfortable with it and i saw how how behavioral choose on. Always maybe like i've taken by no means negligible drugs. I mean you could go up on that drug. I mean i take it now. Sometimes but it's it's it is speed like you up kind of you up. You're you're wired. Quick get some more than coffee. Like it's oh it's it's kind of wild to me that i was taking this when i was eight so i yeah i mean looking back what. What's your opinion on that. Because like i said it's just i can't imagine to me. It seems like a hard drug like is not even a. Yeah yeah well. I don't want to blame my parents too much. Because i think that they like their heart was in the right place. They thought they were doing the right thing. But i do think i was over. Diagnosed in over medicated hit and as a teenager. Yes that's a tough situation. You know it's funny because you you when you look at these kinds of movies like garden garden. State was it and his dad. Are i forget the exact details but there's kind of a trump about the parent. Who's the psychiatrist or therapist. Or whatever always diagnosing their kids and giving him drugs and.

"Its sixty thousand paid users. Now, for perspective, spotify has ten times as many users as Sirius Xm. So just saying, but the reason the stock ended up jumping investors actually expected way worse from Sirius Xm and they got pleasantly surprised I'll be honest I was expecting worse. So check what's the takeaway pacalypse for our buddies? Series x how can Sirius? Xm. Not suffered the same fate as cable TV, snacker cable TV lost three million subscribers so far just in two thousand, twenty, three, million people not paying a thousand, two hundred dollars a year to get three different history, Joe. That is how real court cutting has become. Sirius Xm is really really similar to cable. Think about it. They profit off a huge bundle of channels that caused double, what the streaming, alternative? Goss. But SIRIUSXM has one main customer retention driver and that is Howard Stern wwl. Exclusive with Sirius Xm, just like Michelle Obama and Joe Rogan. Our exclusive via podcasts was spotify. We hope Sirius Xm doesn't get lazy like cable has. Yeah. Cable is pretty much just hanging onto its old users who are confident enough to stream something through their computer cable has accepted. Its fate of forever declined serious hasn't yet for our third and final story most incor- stock just jumped seven percent after. After. Its earnings report, they heard our story last week about Seltzer beating beer and they said hold my beer. Let me address this Molson Coors, earnings, calls, they kind of feel like a lecture from like a bartender who just threw a towel over his right shoulder son. Every company that makes anything in twelve ounce cans can be challenged Tom Again. No joke. That is an actual quote from their. Their earnings report minus the, Sun Part. They didn't say sandwich should say that 'cause there's a global shortage of aluminum cans true store. This company is literally importing aluminum cans from south. Africa in Brazil right now, because think about it, you haven't ordered a pint glass of beer or a pitcher of beer because you're not going to bars restaurants, the pitcher comes with the side of super spreader now. Now snacker Jack and I have been looking at the beer earnings recently, and we kind of notice that there are two themes going on Jack, theme number, one. All of our sales from restaurants and bars have evaporated two zero and Jack. Theme. Number. Two. Dowsman sparkling stelter is we need some sparkling south now that's what's going on with other beer companies and it's kind of what's going on with. Right now, they opened up their earnings reports announcing that keg sales have hit zero dollars and that they're launching a new heart Seltzer, it's called busy. Don't ask them about it. They don't care. They just hire consulting. Why are you doing island peer pressure? Everyone else is doing it. But then we noticed a gem of a quote from a CEO that really stood out. He said that July Fourth Week is when they have their biggest sales of the year and they've already eclipsed love July fourth week four times this year. So people are buying beer, they have had four July fourth in. In a single quarter. That's incredible. Now, everybody else beer sales are flat but Molson's beers living. It's best life. Yes. Check and I got curious. How are they pull this off? You've got cores light just had its highest market share ever in the US and then the CEO said, let me repeat that he did and he actually repeated that said that line twice now this company is doubling down hard encores light. They just made coors light the official beer of the Las Vegas Raiders, Football Team, which is a pricey official beer to become. Yeah. So that's what's going on with the The Gap Beers. But how about craft? Beers. In the Most Beers portfolio, blue moon just came out with a light version, which is the highest selling new twenty, twenty, sound classy and guess what snacker they're doubling down on this craft beer. Steph to molson coors whose ticker symbol by the way is tap classy impressive. Just acquired Detroit's out water brewing company to up its crap sales straight out of eastern. Remember you're not a craft beer unless you're label looks like it's a nineteen, seventy, six record. So Jack, what's the takeaway for our buddies over at Molson course trends are like onions. Onions, they have layers say or snacker broader trend here is that beer sales are slowing in the US because you're leaving like Portland Pale on the shelf because you're going for the heart seltzer. Instead, the trend within a trend is that a recession heavily benefits some types of beers over others. Yeah. You Lost Your job, you're not splurging on twenty four dollars CBD infused Ip made in a French oak barrel. You're looking for the giant cases of beer were each beer is like fifty cents per beer like coors light. So can toss it over the fence to your neighbor. That's what. Coors Does Jack in your whip. The takeaways for to start the week. Hey, POW thinks is dead because seventy percent of people fear touching cash wants covert has gone. It hopes you'll pay with Ben MC mccue our code instead tetris. Tetris or is that good story, Sirius Xm cells, pricey giant of channels sounds like cable, TV. But they shouldn't give apply cable. TV has third foul molson cores is a rising beer ship and sinking bureau. Every trend has layers and lower priced both beer sales are best in a recession. O. X. that's the big liberal news site all the network said the of coronaviruses nothing at soccer affect us the flu is much worse she just read off all the quotes it was unbelievable but listen responding to these these jackals on the V. in the briefing room I guess I would turn the question back on the media and a similar questions does vox want to take back the day proclaimed that the corona virus would not be a deadly pandemic to the Washington post want to take back that they told Americans to get a grip the flu is bigger than a corona virus Washington post like lights went to take back that our brains are causing us to exaggerate the threat of the corona virus is in your times want to take back that fear of the virus may be suppressing spreading faster than the virus itself well you did you watch that I did it was fantastic because they they could say nothing they don't know what to say they were and then and she said well thank you goodbye and she left there were certain there fuming you know me they are trying to at one point the president said a few times it don't worry this is nothing it'll go away or it's under it's been contained or it's under control of the flu is a bigger problem well everybody said that every media outlet every network every major liberal everything said that hello see said that Cuomo said that the blahs yet member the blood he was tweeting in March he urged everybody to go to the movies and go to Chinatown a doctor Anthony Fauci said that constantly Hey I used to member I used to say that I said this is not a thing it's being exaggerated you know I got that from Anthony Fauci he's the one that told me that all the time there's nothing nothing to worry about so now there is just the opposite hysterical the media components nothing it's nothing to worry about it now you hear Chuck Todd yesterday with listen to this corrupted the apparel government led by president trump considering for lack of a better word surrendering to this virus the remainder yeah that's what he's doing who watches this video this little go teed weird with his bias you know Tim Russert was a great guy he was the best journalist he personally picked this guy I think he's out of spinning like a leave in his grave right now and if this guy just awful this Chuck Todd Hey Neiman Marcus as we mentioned it was good it was expected but they did it about an hour ago they filed for bankruptcy it's expected they'll close some stores recent even marks right here there's a Westchester mall and that one's been kinda empty I don't I don't know about that when the they don't Bergdorf Goodman that's gonna stay you don't to worry about that the Hudson yards there's never been anybody anybody in the Neiman Marcus in Hudson yards in fact it was the old people using it with the witness protection program they were putting people there we would run the Jersey this up there's one royal garden garden state I don't well I don't know about the the maybe the garden state and anymore yeah tranice this one now I don't know what that with this short hills mall it's a great ball I think I don't know that Neiman Marcus and they're not all going to stay so I'm gonna go Roosevelt field got a Neiman Marcus that'll probably stay because that's just wanted all along either but the places we have to and you don't need to that's part of the problem lord and Taylor was going to do bankruptcy but they're not they're gonna re open but liquidate all the merchandise currently got a lot of inventory so the liquidate the stores and then close them all this is unbelievable isn't all these things closing yeah sacks looks like it's okay there's talk of sacks filing bankruptcy but I think again that's a case where they just got a few stores they wanna unload may be you know they got the fifth Avenue of course they'll keep downtown I don't think they need that one the granite stores doing well that'll be fine but they'll be it though it's a great it's a way to get rid of some of your stuff are you gonna see a lot of retail do this a lot of things will change when they come back well these people talk about going to boycott China I'm not buying anything from China and when you say okay give me your I. phone that didn't want to give up but apple is figuring out how to move production back here they're now making the macbook pro here and a few other things but the biggest items like via iPhone that'll take a while to get the supply chain back here but they will look at apple in the middle of all this apple stock now above three hundred again tech companies have done so well in this crisis now who's done the best obviously other drug stores who's done the worst the airlines travel all of that but you know who's really done great peloton you know that stupid bike that's right yeah you don't have to go to the gym hello Tom picked up a million subscribers during this the stock is up eighteen percent it's an exercise bike with the video screen now you can get for eight hundred Bucks for two hundred Bucks for three hundred but a nice exercise bike exercise this thing cost a fortune and it comes with your online on the screen you're riding with others you have an instructor you shows you different courses it keeps you busy while you're writing but it's a waste of money it's a waste of time another thing you can do is for a couple hundred Bucks by a TV set put in for your bike and just watch stuff on your bike you have to look at the Grand Canyon when you're writing you can look at Netflix you can watch fox you could do whatever you want you don't need all that but it's a very very popular GrubHub is up twelve percent and bicycles in general are way up that's one thing people are doing in this crisis riding bikes and bike shops say their sales are through the roof and bike shops now reporting very worried about a supply chain problem they may not have enough bikes there were people are buying them like crazy gonna run out of bikes pretty soon I should have said that it was gonna buy a bike right now even city bike has been great in this crisis people write those around for fun those and those are great because you can't go more than two miles an hour in one of those things big sanitized or you have sanitized it when you get on well you know people are very reassured by city but because his truck seems to pull up all the city by in these guys get out with the spray bottle in there spraying and wiping it sprang wife yeah but you don't know what that is water we are we this is to be water in there you know that that's disinfected you know what kind of disinfectant it is you know here when they say take a a Lysol wipe or it's the isopropyl alcohol in their T. alcohol that does the disinfecting CDC
