"Yes. Listening to animal party. I'm fat live radio and misses me. Deborah calling in from camp good dug up in Vancouver. And for once. It's a sunny day up here. And the rain forest is beautiful and the dogs that goes swimming, and they'll play and we'll snap pictures, and we'll put it on Facebook camp. Good, doug. So check that out later if you wanna see poodles, and doodles and all kinds of other dogs playing puppies and dogs. So all right. I've noticed a trend about Hopkin. Have you noticed? The stacey. There's always a trend with pumpkin. Yeah. It's that time of year. Well, this year I discovered that taking an entire pumpkin and giving it to chickens and goats they will eat the seeds and that is a natural anti parasite agent for them. I didn't know that before. Yeah. There's some other ones that I use at different times a year that do the same thing as well as the proper stuff from the vet once a year. But you know, it's good to know. Right. Just throw it into the hoop area, and they pack away. And you're doing them some good. But I found I've noticed little lamb Houches of Hopkin that you're supposed to add to Catholic for cats to eat and pumpkin for dogs, and I'm just surprised at how many things there are with pumpkin. Now. Yeah. There really is that and diatomaceous earth believe it or not has been really popular with the warming, and that type of thing with. Okay. So I used that on my chickens. I sat it on them. And a rub it into them. And it's an amazing alternative to the pesticide powder. A use to us. But I want to caution people you really need to wear a mask when you're around it. It's very very sharp. And you're not supposed to inhale it. So if you're brushing it on your dog, and then you go give them a hug and you rub. A minute. Dusk flies into the air. This is not a good thing. So I just want to caution. You all about breathing it in and your animals, breathing it in that just be very careful when you use the stuff, but I do use it. I do love it. I do think it has a tremendous purpose. But just be careful, you're not inhaling it. Absolutely totally agree with that. Yeah. Natural has its benefits. I'll tell you it really does and it, and it can be very detrimental if it's not used properly or you're not using the right type. So with pumpkin is I've noticed is a teaspoon tablespoon given to a dog or a less given to cat can really improve their stools and. The thing that puzzles me is it doesn't seem to matter if they have diarrhea or constipation either way, it seems to give them some regularity. But I've also found people who overdo it it can put their dog into a terrible state with terrible diarrhea. So if you're thinking if someone suggested to you to give your dog canned pumpkin with his food every night. Okay. But go-slow try teaspoon. You do not want the diarrhea explosion. That comes from intense fiber. Which is what pumpkin is so go slow, right? Take. And see how your dog takes it. If after a day or two there doesn't seem to be any improvement or result with a teaspoon. Try a tablespoon, but but don't try a cana-, pumpkin. All in one go because you will. Zoe. A lotta strange things that people try to do when they're trying these new. That was a big one with coconut oil, and it's like a little bit of coconut oil might not be bad. But you don't want to start giving your dog a lot of stuff that you don't understand. And you don't know how it works. Okinawa is terrific for topical situations. I find it really good for little blemishes little tiny. Always we're not talking about a bite wound or an infection or a foreign body or anything like that. But you know, they'll hot hotspot little rash beginning little irritation from a caller that sort of a big dog rubbed his nose against something. Too much. You know that coconut oil is the best smear it on. And they don't even mind it the lick it right off your hand. And I find it very effective for my cats three of them three of my rescue cats adore coconut oil. They'll do anything for it. Just a little tiny bit though. Right. Just. People started doing things, you know, a little as good a lot must be better. And that's not the case. So always exercise. Do your homework know what you're giving your pets. Well, Stacy I wanted to talk to you today about winter sport. But we've totally read at a time. So I'm going to tell people if you wanna read about winter sport, go to pets weekly. If you want to hear about any of that read about any of the products, we've talked about today or see the full reviews or read about other products. There's a lot on their go to pets weekly dot com. And hopefully Stacey I'll have you back sometime. This winter before winter is over to talk about winter sports. Give me your top dog. One your top winter sports digestion before we have probably well, you know, of course, Joran would be right up there with the top of the top ones. And that's basically. Rain at a dog sled letting your dog pull you through through the snow. It's wonderful for the dogs. The dogs that need that kind of intense exercise best thing in the world for him. How do you steer? Don't do this with your homemade's lead. Because. A little bit more control on skis, and you really need to turn your pets and workman to it. There's a whole it's so complex you really need to kind of get into the site. And take a look at how you can start scheduling with your pets. Well, and you don't want to ruin your he'll command so have a different command like poke you don't want to get back into the city. The spring comes in your dogs, pulling you along like there's a sled attached. I totally would love to do that once upon a time. I used to take my parents standard poodle out on the street with roller skates and it skipping rope. And he would pull me all around the neighborhood. And I loved it. I loved it. I was. Yeah. It was great art gardellin hair waving in the wind. It was something on a summer day. But steering could be a problem if he saw a squirrel so be careful out there. Trees are also an issue, you know, the dog run for one. And especially if you're. It can be a problem. Do.

"Well, good morning Roberta. Yeah. If you're from Detroit, you undoubtedly will remember the Hudson's building and its implosion that said dust literally throughout the downtown Detroit. Many were there like myself. I was there. Mike duggan. He remembers the Hudson's building. And he thought that the removal of the Hudson's building would have led to the recovery of Woodward. Well, it took a while. But the mayor now says there's more to come. I'm not sure anybody thought it would be like it is today five years ago, but you have everybody pulling in the same direction, and you have the mayor and the council working together, you've got unions and businesses working together. Community groups working together. When everybody pulls together we can accomplish a lot, and we got some big announcements coming up. Now, the mayor would not elaborate on what the denouncements were all about. "Certapro dot com again Certes with the C certapro painters, we do painting you do life. I like that. Let's get back to the board of calls. We hit the next button. And who pops up first it's going to be marrying Conroe Mary. Good morning. I need to know when I can spray for weeds. I'm putting out the pre emergency this weekend as long as you know, it's not gonna rain for six to eight hours. You can do it anytime. But if you put it out and rains, four hours later, it's all for not. Okay. So it's not too hot still guess what? We're coming up on a cool season opportunity if you know about cool season herbicide. And the weather changes tomorrow night see on this radio program, and our tip sheets on a lot of Facebook pages. Over the years. We've promoted the need for the use of a cool season herbicide, and those are going to be used really quick. As a matter of fact might as well go out on a limb. Gardellin go out on a limb and see if we should repos something tomorrow, everybody pay attention tomorrow on Facebook, Joey you gotta hit me up on this. I'm gonna go do my parents while birds and limited will watch the Astros game. I'm gonna forget all about until we go back on the air tomorrow morning, but tomorrow morning on Facebook, we need to post everything and anything we have about cool season herbicide, especially so for people that have not been a part of our weekly Email blasts for the last you know, what since two thousand and two what's the math on that for sixteen plus years, we have hit up at least once a year the time to use the cool season herbicide that's coming up. But based on the the the original question. If you were to use a herbicide that's for the warm season. Yeah. So I- broadleaf we killer that we recommend make sure you had surfactant and as long as it's doesn't rain for the next eight hours. It should take care of it. Let's go to Sam in Cyprus up next. Sam good morning. Pine tree. I noticed a couple of weeks ago that it had some white paint. Oh, yeah. I remember you sent us pictures in a filing once you got permission to send pictures, we talked about this earlier, Joey, you're not gonna believe this. But this perfect example of hips Beatles. Really big board holes in the pine tree that trees dead, by the way. Okay. I look it up air eight there ain't even a pioneer on there. To come down ASAP. Do you get my weekly Email blasts because guess what this past week was all about? Or if it's Brown, take it down all about kind of the rules of engagement on tree removal, and why it's important to know when it's Brown to take it down right away because the more dead that becomes the harder. It is to remove and thus ends up costing more money. The longer you. Wait. Oleander? I am not sure what to tell you about that. Because part of its growing looking all healthy. And then that interior stuff, it could be a root rot. What worries me disturbs me? The most is it looks like there's a cavity. Like some animal burrowing underneath there. Gross. But that picture doesn't tell me enough the other than hey, it still looks healthy on the left. Okay. I would cut out all the bad area treat for root rot and the simplest way to do that is with captain CAP T A N. It's a fun decide designed for the soil. But man, go back and look that picture for me. If you can Sam that like, it looks like a whole burrowing underneath there. And that could have like killed that part of the root system with some animal underneath there. And that's why the center is dead doesn't look like a disease is spreading just looks like root rot or dead roots in those areas. That's what I'm seeing just by that picture, and that's all sometimes it's hard to do by pictures. We want people to send in pictures of all possible. But sometimes it's hard to diagnose everything from that, Michael. And Katie is up next. Michael good morning. Batty. Are you there, Michael? Yes, sir. Can you hear me? Yes. What's your question? I'm growing apples from a from. Feet two inches tall. And I was wondering whether it's time to transplant the soil. Like, what's the best thing? I should do. Follow our tree planting technique. And then just make sure you add fruit tree organic fruit tree fertilizer at the right time of the year, which is not now it's going to be starting February March, then every two months for feedings. What apple did you pull these seeds from now? Folded from a from a gall, apple and. Here. Won't grow. Here have fun with it. Just enjoy it for the unique tree is going to be. But you won't be able to grow gala apple here. We don't have enough chill hours. That's number one. Number two. It's a it's grown in a much more drier climate. Our humidity kills a lot of these apple trees. There's very few apples that we can grow from iron shimmer to. What is it the carnival? I I'd have to go get my old list and pull that up, but it's hard to grow. The the ones you see in the grocery store, and we don't have a really good time. Here doesn't mean you can't grow him by seeds, whether they ever will produce that's the question, and I know gala is in the northern parts of the states, but we have I don't think we've ever been able to grow gala in the Gulf Coast community. But like if you lived up north Dallas, she lived in panhandle. There's a good chance you could do gala apples for that region. But not here in our humidity in our heat in our insect pressures. I'm killing a little bit of time here realizing that in less than thirty seconds. We have to take a break for news, weather and traffic. So let me tell you this. If you're on hold hang tight. We will get to you. Right. I will give invitation to one more person to give us a call. If you are one more person that can fill in on the open lines. That'll be it is the last time. I get off the phone number day. Seven one three two one two KTAR h Nikki's coming up with news, weather and traffic our final half hour guard line, then I'm heading to wild birds unlimited in the Woodland's from eleven to one today..

"Was the end so here we have marilyn monroe who was a closet communist as you point out in the book it seems and her marriage to arthur miller who was certainly a left leaning i don't know if he was a communist but he was certainly far to the left how much did that have to do do you think with her death good question i mean that supplies many looking through the records on her life there is some of the most salacious things i mean we're supposed to have a let's say corporate it's so salacious stuff but there's also makes you know to mexico in a meeting with communist sympathizers yeah two two and specifically and then there is a relationship with jess hey and apparently with his brother relationship essentially what is it and so if you put things together the most powerful man in america and his brother who is then the attorney general and you put a possible communist sympathizer and then you put the fact that both those kennedy brothers will not then that's an explosive situation and i think most of the life of mountain she sounded in situations that she had a great untangling themselves from my book puts these kind of situations together you know again not much has been written about mountains but i feel like a love it's been lost in the time when you look at some of these situations and some of the the possible threat the knowledge and has situation might punish the status quo in the space at that time as you say a bit of a tinderbox you saw off your question some questions i was asking him wasn't very surprising well you mentioned her dalliance with with president there was pillow talk no doubt she kept a diary the infamous red diary again you mentioned you know we talk about the the fact that she was a closet communist khrushchev apparently was fascinated with her wanted desperately to meet her and i think she him do you think that she was perceived by j edgar hoover and others as a national security risk why she for example threatening to go public with the contents of her diary well she was indeed someone told a and so some of the show what happened was there's the famous birthday song when she was having a relationship with jazz type which sublimate semipublic what wins news though he privately as a result of that happy birthday stories madison square garden picked birth inches mr president so hopefully we kind of way and so he was always the hat he stuff that relationship study quickly but the story goes but he sent his emissary companies down and then he got himself in relationship without in but when he stopped the relationship he's relationship again he would yes love kids and again she was a very high probability when when when he did we lose you oh i think we lost david david gardellin well we will he's back we have you back again all right we just we just lost you you were talking about bobby kennedy when went on a mission to sort of calm her down after the breakup with with jfk and then they fell in love and they had a rather tumultuous relationship as the story goes i had a very very so steamy relationship but that became that was getting out of hand but again i this one i was unable to confirm that there was there was something stories around the time in that circle pregnant with a child again no backup for that but that was certainly one of the show is going around bobby's child yeah that was a story going around the time certain whether justification certainly that would have been excluded explosives at the time so as i understand it he's still relationship and she was hosting threatened to go public with the contents with the diary she kept journal strahl on she was a hoax die on one of the coach you went to bed worcester dari.

"The whole team back from last year at least that the position pirates i will say though the mets did let's say go out and bring back the same guys from last year you know bring back walker i don't know what parole due to would play but whatever stay they did that that would not be a terrible team and i know people would look at it say odds a 70 win team last year they failed last year why would you bring the same guys back well it's about having the guys they're god in a j burgers produced it it is time with the mets austere it's by their able to move him judah we know the positives and negatives on him we don't have to go through it all over again he strikes out a lot it's for a lot of power is first space to play defensively is okay it's not going to be gold glove worthies not terrible either and but the mets team last year did not fail because of the position players failed because the pitching was unable to stay healthy and a rotation that expected to have a healthy no is cinder gardellin adam for a handful of starts steven metz didn't pitch until later in the season and then you know look good for about four or five starts in really started to struggle to get anything out of him zack wheeler coming back of surgery and did what you could have reasonably expected a decent at first and then started a crater it as the season went along but mad harvey hadn't the economy that he did and the pitching is what has to improve british mets team to be a legitimate contender there thinks the mets after do don't get me wrong gown but the going nuts that all the bring back the same guys i think it's it's not the worst thing in the world i mean it's okay if they bring back some of the same guys its second base and i they todd frazier would be my number one that's available free agency i prefer josh harrison overall was neil walker that's coming back to the mets and the.
