IEM Beijing: Immortals Player Rushed To Hospital
"Mike to the week was a perfect segue into first-strike specifically na side. So i don't know if you were watching. I was watching. It live and to the point where i was so confused. I messaged our good friend drone from. Tsm as you heard in the liner entering the show today saying is this normal. Like what what do you guys do here. So this happened. During the immortals t one matchup where one of the players shot up on immortals had to leave because of an emergency he had to get rushed to the hospital for whatever reason. I don't know if it's ever came out the third player something recently. That's had some sort of medical emergency. We just saw with poach recently too. So obviously it's five five. He's a yo emergency. God gago and then there was a slight pause in the action. Obviously but then they come back and he sitting in spawn. Still so he's k. Five four on haven. Which a news you and i know from experience all too well being down a man on haven is like the worst scenario. Possible it's a three bombsite map a. b. and c. When you are down a man on haven you are pretty much only able to do retakes at that point if you're on defense like you've just given up on one site and just committed to doing retakes props to immortals. There's really a to yikes one here. Because they ended up defeating t want map at least t one ended up winning the match but still insane that that they were able to win that nap. I mean any map honestly at the pro level being down a man. It's freaking incredible for them that to like have that under their belt even though they lost the series like men that. That's absolutely huge to be able to do that. Where my real yikes comes into here though. And if you know maybe i'm over blowing this because realistically i would hope this a one off situation when it's not a technical issue the player is it like he is able to be in the server a technical issue he would have dropped from the server and it would have been entirely different but here even though it was hospital and health related. It was still voluntarily disconnecting. But the fact that he was able the fact that he had to sit in spawn able to harvest. Alt- orbs off. This poor man's core where in real life being rushed to the hospital. Like i was just like seems a little better. If you just said he disconnected. And that's what i was. And i asked drone that house like wouldn't it make sense just disconnect and then that way you'd like i saw like a normal Valor at match if some your team. They're out and you get an orb inspiration in replace of them for your alz and then money bonus you get more so you get some some bonuses now. I understand on a pro match and we can just naturally talk istrict now. If you want to the week you get it. I get in a pro match. If you're like look things have to be a little different here okay. We can't give that digit because look these are supposed to be professionals and we just have to do it but at the end it's like it's almost like if he's backing out. How fair that t one doesn't have a chance then to get an extra or while mortals does the right answer. I'm just saying is watching that match. It felt like that wasn't the right way to do it
Perez Hilton Confesses He Hooked Up With John Mayer
"After years of slamming celebrities, Perez Hilton says he has some serious regrets, but he's also up a ton of new trouble. No surprise in his new memoir my life and scandal says he regrets hurting so many people with his website but that's not stopping him from making new planes about celebrities according to page six who got an early look at the book Peres writes about his on and off friendship with Lady Gaga he accuses her of using him to get back at her caters. He says God I didn't ask him to write nasty things about people but quote by moaning to me she made me feel like, i. her best friend. Should do something about it. He also says they stopped talking after an interview he did with her in two thousand eleven and eventually Gago called him a creepy stalker. It's good. All right and that is not all Peres also talks about hooking up with John Mayer in a tooth out in in in two thousand seven in a club. So that was for you years. Later, John did. Admit to kissing Peres during an interview with playboy, we reached out to John and dog for comment but have not heard that that was a lot to unpack you lots of reading. Let me ask you this. Do you think for as truly regret saying that things that he did. Are you man, you're the only person who has not made. This. Point by the way I, don't understand how this man is literally like every gender and I could make one small suggests into Bob Saggy. He's not interested in I said, okay. Well, that's cool. Now pissed about it it's ridiculous. And now it's too late. He'll go anywhere at anytime but unfortunately, not for you Morgan Stewart's. Because taken off the market. Will now I'm very now there's two of US know literally. I feel bad for them because I feel like Mario is one person. He's very nice. He's very you know deep and I think Perez Hilton is a second person and I think what happens is Press Hilton started this website and started getting all this attention for all the nasty things that he said about celebrities and I think what happened after that was all these other websites you know started popping up and he Created the genre. People would be able to forgive them but they wouldn't be able to forgive them because he kinda was the birthplace of this nasty snotty as a situation

Shortest NBA Career, Ever
"Royce. It's been exactly ten years this Saturday since James Names on curry who I should note is not related to Steph curry made his NBA debut. I found this story fascinating. Because here's a guy who has seemingly on on the cusp of achieving all of his dreams. And then poof it's over. He's out of the League. How did you go about finding him? It was a really long on kind of winding path to it and it was somewhat of a passion project. Part of me was I was kind of scared. That's a story outside my comfort zone a little a bit to just completely cold call somebody and track them down and find out because you know on the other side of it. You're going to see like the story is three point nine seconds right and then it's open ended after that. Where's he at? What's he doing is the jailing does he oversees? He'd still trying to play basketball. I have no idea you you can put these stories in your mind. I kinda WanNa know about that. And then they kind of just sort of get lost in the shuffle and you keep thinking about it and you keep wondering about it. And that's what level with me is that finally it was like you know what I'm going to find out about this and I got kind of approval to pursue this story and at that time it was like okay. We don't know where he's at. You know he could be still playing professional basketball somewhere in like Moscow or Turkey. You're the Israel or wherever and it just so happened that when I finally got in touch a to a James on curry through instagram of all places. Because that's how you are a reporter in two thousand twenty. He got back to me and he told me to call them and I said so. Where do you live now? And he told me he lived in ended Oklahoma. which just so happened to be an hour away from me so sad to say I mean up? My editors were quite happy that the travel budget got significantly reduced instead of flying to Moscow or something had to drive up the road. Enid so Royce you reach out to James on you find out. He lives near you. You can get his story you were drawn to his story because he had the shortest career in NBA history. Three point nine seconds. Did he know that when I approached him very much so if you type it in on Youtube if you type in his name. There's a video out there that somebody made and it's got over a million views or something like that and it's kind of like a awhile did you fact in the NBA and James on understood that he was basically the answer to a trivia question and not a flattering trivia. Your question was he a highly touted recruit so james on Curry was really a household name Nina and so much so that in North Carolina lineup basketball history. He's a true legend. He scored more points in high school than Michael Jordan ever heard of them. James Worthy David Thomson and he said that record and he was a five star recruit. He was committed in North Carolina. He was a big big deal and people from all around the state would come to watch him play. He was routinely scoring forty thirty. Five fifty fifty five points at night. He had a dedicated beat reporter that would come and follow him around. He was destined to be the next Great College Basketball Player order and thereby the next grade professional basketball player so from there does he get all the offers two big schools fast track to the NBA. Say He did have the office. Everybody recruiting him. It was it was set up for him to go play for Roy Williams at North Carolina and lead them to national championships and get drafted. Be One and done player go the NBA. All that type of stuff was set up for him to happen. The crazy Roese thing about it was. He plays a game against Graham High School and I think he scored forty seven in that game is team was on the fast track to a state title and the next morning. He shows up at school and he gets called into the principal's office so he walks down the hall. He walks in the principal's office and he sees a bunch of police officers officers in there. And he thinks that they're in there. Because I want to ask him for an autograph and instead of that they put him in handcuffs. James on was caught selling drugs to an undercover cop. James is on sold him. Marijuana and his total take Fort Meena was ninety five dollars so while he was dropping shopping. forty-seven on Graham High School. They were printing up a warrant for his arrest. So at that point everything completely changed from didn't take long for North Carolina to pull his scholarship. He was kicked out of school kicked off the basketball team. He finished high school at an alternative school and really at that point just didn't know if he was going to get another chance. So what does he decide to do. Angst as you might believe since he was so so good some other schools got involved but this kind of random place jumped out to him and really kind of hooked victim and that was Oklahoma State University and part of what Oklahoma State had to sell for him was their coach. Eddie Sutton was a recovering alcoholic and he understood second chances and of course he brought him to Oklahoma state because first of all he's really good second of all because he saw something in James on and thought it was worthwhile taking that shot on. So how does he we do. When he gets to Oklahoma state he was good? There was a game where he was playing in Madison Square Garden. Achieving his dream they're playing against Syracuse. And he was part of a big second half running Ron and three on the insist this cowboys happily Dick. Vitale called him a diaper Dandy and it was a dream come true feeling feeling this outboard played one of the greatest games in all time in college basketball history at triple overtime game against Kevin Durant and Texas. The Dow Jones scored forty something Durant scored forty something and it's known as to be one of the Great Games it starts getting you know. Draft Talk. Scouts are coming to watch him play so it all kind of felt like it. It had come together for James on and he was going to have a shot after all. So curry gets drafted by the Bulls. What happens next? So it shows the Bulls and he's he's sent down to the D. League. He's brought backup. He sent back down. He's brought backup. He's bouncing back and forth and in his mind. He's he's not really getting his chance. And he the as a couple incidents that again pop-up form one. He was at the D. League showcase in Idaho and he gets busted on public urination and gets arrested for it the Bulls suspend them one game. And now it's like you know he's got another thing kind of tagged with them there and here's another incident where he's driving to the airport in Chicago Gago. He says he gets lost on the way to the airport and he misses his flight. Going to New York. And that's another strike from the Bulls and in his mind that that was one that like they couldn't get over over. There was a time where their coach Scott Scales kind of told the team this practices an open tryout for playing time and he felt like he showed everybody up he was he was crushing it. He killed everybody thirty. On the court. And the scrimmage and Scott pulled him aside and I think that scowls thought it was a compliment but it really wasn't at least not to James on but he said you're going to be the best player in the D. League and and that kind of crush James on spirits and GE just goes through the season and he just never gets a chance with them and they end up cutting them after the year so he gets cut by the Bulls else and after that he's bouncing around the Euroleague D. League teams. How does he make his way back to the NBA? Hey bounces around. He gets them chances and he gets drafted. He's actually the first draft pick ever for the Bakersfield Jam. There the D League affiliate for the Los Angeles Clippers Clippers and he's doing great becomes a D. League all star and he finally gets his call he gets the call. Uh what happens next so he gets a call up and suit up for the clippers there in Boston. They're playing the Celtics. It's late third quarter. There's some foul trouble issues. Injury issues for Rondo now. The final possession for the Boston Celtics. The James on gets says number called Mike Dunleavy says game with three point nine seconds ago. There's three point nine seconds left on the clock in the third quarter James on jumps up runs runs the scores table and look look comes in James on Curry Hey is first appearance ever in an NBA game. What a thrill? It's gotTa be dream fulfilled hears his my name called out in the arena runs out on the court. He's guarding region. Rondo Sri couldn't have expected it right at this moment a week ago. I sure didn't expect Eddie. There's a quick play run. Not much happens doesn't touch. The ball doesn't do anything other than just kind of stand there with a half. The A reasonable job lookers pretty happy to be down by only five buzzer. Sounds runs off the court and De'andre Jordan. Subs is in for him to start the fourth quarter and he never steps on the floor again and like literally never because the next morning he wakes up. He gets a call from the clippers the next morning telling him he's been

Are they going to see him in can't do lectures FaceTime? They'll have cell phone. You can FaceTime pan. Give them a hunk of bamboo and grabbed that FaceTime. What I'm seeing his kids? Miata here guys. I'm back here in China. The stinks. I wanna come back to San Diego. It's terrible. I can't get a decent fish taco. This is the worst thing they make me dance for Nichols. Either. I love it. I played on the value hideout table out to go. You make a lot more money with down the Gaga cost you money by making money by a lot of bamboo. And you're very good point John kick saving a beauty dug in Hummel starting us off. Hello, doug. Branch. I for that outstanding talking at American liberty. Former milona micro great. We had a good time. That was good. Hey, speaking of Dow, let's talk about Wong Kim ark. Yeah. And for thirty years. Thirty years. Senator Jacob powered definition was finished his chip on the fourteenth amendment which stood until until supreme court case. Have you mentioned Senator Jacob Howard progressives. It's critic wickets they don't know who he is. At a wanna is. They don't want ROY jurisdiction means I don't wanna know jurisdiction thereof means they don't want any in the know any of that. Okay. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on his paws. Right. Denver's expert about birthright citizenship, which the president raised as an issue today or it was leaked out with a conversation. He had with the guys from axios that he's looking at doing something about birthright citizenship because you've got two hundred and thirty eight thousand people that are born in the United States to illegal immigrants every year and the family then gets to benefit from the American citizenship deal right in that happened in nineteen eighty two by Justice Brennan on a footnote on a case, stop fortify ruling. And before then there was no birthright citizens so to speak as we speak from wonks case, and in nineteen sixty seven there was dole citizenship the supreme court ruled on dual citizenship which was it a fourteenth amendment. Just like the one case was. But the difference was Wong parents. We're both legal immigrants both legal immigrants, and they were fighting. He was fighting an unconstitutional law. Prohibited. Chinese right nationalizing, they're preventing him from becoming a naturalized citizens back one. And the reason why he want his case what does that got to do the day everything because crops looking at this birthright citizenship as a businessman is not as a politician like Paul Ryan. And so you think this is stupid. This is absolutely stupid. It was no federal law is declared this birthright says it was a ruling up a supreme court and unconstitutional really on the fourteenth amendment because back then just what Senator Howard was trying to prevent who. Who is he trial? What group immigrants with Senator Howard trying to simulate that refused to assimilate. It lingers language and to the American culture, I'll give you a head. It's Germans the Germans refused to assimilate. So he was targeting German immigrant right and ruled then old at least one parent had could be naturalized go through the naturalization process. Then there would be citizens. That's how it's thirty years until the one case you can't have a discussion with progressive. They refused that just do what you just did now. Well, it's not it's not ever going to happen. The way it's not going to happen. The way they want it to happen. And it's not going to it's a frustrating situation. But but it, but it needs to we need to underscore something very important here. Okay. I dislike severely this conversation with the president saying, I'll just use an executive order. That's how we got in the DACA mess. I'm done with these executive orders. And if it if it's if it's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. I do not want any more of these stupid executive orders that. Replace either a constitutional amendment or change a law or do any of that kind of stuff because it's not acceptable. I get it. The president can do a an executive order to to to order agencies to administer in certain ways. But darn it. The fact of the matter is we have a legislative branch, and we have a way to amend our constitution. If we really want to Brentwood herbal show him seven, sixty talk and breaking news, Jim chevette with the latest. There's been an arrest in the murder of a clerk in a midway district sex shop. We'll have the details. Next AM seven sixty K F M B. I'm Roger Hitchcock with the Roger report, the San Diego union Tribune, for whom I once worked has become nothing, but a far left mouthpiece of the most radical socialist ideas floating around the American political landscape. One of those ideas is that Donald Trump is a racist proof of that in the Steve Breen editorial cartoon came when the president declared that he was a nationalist as opposed to. Globalist Trump's at a globalist is someone who puts the interests of the entire world ahead of the interest of our country. He said by contrast, I'm a nationalist. That is I put the interests of the United States ahead of everybody else. Because after all he is the president of the United States. Nope. The left saw all of that. As simply a dog, whistle validation of Trump's racist approach because of course, nationalism means white nationalism. No, it doesn't nationalism in Trump's meaning means American nationalism putting this country. I my opinion. It's about time. That's a Roger report..

"Community outdoor campus as a gateway to community in downtown. Will celebrate the artwork of Richard hunt. And we welcome into the studio right now. You're listening to the Patty basket show with Andrea darlas, and what a a wonderful event this will be on Saturday night as everyone raises a toast here incredible career. And of course, the world of art as well. Well, it is I'm I'm really excited about it. The sculpture was installed about a week ago and the grounds which have been newly landscaped and one of the things about the sculpture is is that it it's there in and of itself, but it also is part of a place reimagined and recreated place that makes the entrance to the arch center, both more attractive and more place to be. You know as an. And also, it kind of welcomes you to what you might call cultural district of Saint Joe and it's downtown and it's lakefront lovely speak for your fellow side. Or you were telling us off the air where we can see some of your works throughout the city. And I ask you what some of your favorite ones were to others. Well, yeah. I mean, I mean, they're all my favorites. But some are more favorite the other. I mentioned. For one thing in the Carter Woodson library regional Chicago public library. I was commissioned to do this goes back to the middle. Seventies of peace that I call Jacob's ladder takes us title from the negro spiritual climbing Jacob's ladder and resonates in a lot of ways in the African American community. But anyway, and it was an opportunity to have a sculpture, but didn't come up from the ground. But that was suspended from the ceiling as a matter of fact, it's two elements as one that is on the ground. But the idea in a lot of my work. Has to do with not only making a form, but having a special relationship to the space that might be in. And in this case, this work was commissioned in a way that it was hanging that it would hang from the ceiling was a skylight and so working with the structural engineer for the building we size the beam. So they would support the way to the sculpture that that hung down into the atrium. And that's the favorite piece. Not far from this radio station on Randolph and garland court. There's a sculpture called. We will. Kind of a kind of a collective is saying of the I wills Gago motto. But anyway, it's a standing peace and stainless steel that's there for people to interact with as they come to and from work or sightseeing in downtown. But. You know, my favorite pieces tend to be my most recent one. So my favorite piece now is is the two part sculpture that welcomes people to the crabs large center ground twenty four twenty four thousand pounds. Yeah. Sir. Twenty two feet high. While you put a lot of stainless steel together. And you want it to be structurally sound and all just keeps going up, and you are going to be up all night. What are you working on is going to be picked up? Well, an interesting coincidence is that there's a the the both the family in Saint pardon me, not in Saint Joe but in south bend. That's commissioned me to do a sculpture for for their residents, which will be situated in the driveway as you come into their property and coincidentally. The family not only collectors of my work, but but through their business the first source Bank. They support the crabs large center. And so it'll be kind of a interesting sculpture weekend for me on on Friday installing. Sculpture and south bend and Saturday going over to. Celebrate my sculpture in in Saint Joe thirty some miles away. Not too bad. Art center is so beautiful. Well, it is and is even more beautiful now, I urge you. Yeah. Inviting you. Raise a glacier. Yeah. Episode occasion. You can raise a glass for the official indication of sculpting community at which is going to begin at five thirty with a congratulatory toast, and you'll be able to to.

"It's a remake the fourth version of this. This tale, classic tale try to very star falls in love with a lady whose stars yet to rise and as their relationship grows, her star rises. His star falls trying to choose Handke's all round. Thanks for coming. Yes, some pretty well. This is I really, really liked this Bradley. Cooper is pretty. Amazing that this is his first film and he does so much like you were saying he even he kinda co-wrote lots of the music for this produce the music. He wrote the themes you insane with all of us. And at the same time gives this absolutely incredible performances as Jackson main of fading issue country star. The opening sequences of is absolutely incredible. There are some really, really stunningly done life performances hair and you feel I don't know is something in the sound mix. I think like wacked up the the trim and you just feel it thumping through your chest in in those moments. And then at the same time, lady Gago who done bits of acting before she was in one of the machete films story in American horror story. But this is I like, oh, yeah, may just starring role and she's so good. She especially, I think a lot of people who may be just know from the from the pop stuff and especially the early pop surf where it was it was it was like the meat dress and it was the lady gogo. There was everything around lady go. She's kinda strip things down a bit more since then. But for a lotta people is hoping. The first time they see her in that more stripped down foam and she is so convincing as just this. This normal girl who strikes lucky by meeting Jackson, Maine, and having this this experience with him that then kind of starts her career in a way. I think we'll take a lot of people by surprise because a lot of people know who for that kind of artifice and the everything around lady Gaga kind of costume reinstall and this strips all of that away. And then of course, when it gets the live scenes and she singing, she's she's amazing. She's gone incredible voice the songs, a really good. It's Sean real. I'd say, yeah, I think. I mean, I haven't. They haven't. They've released the soundtrack or they're about to release it. But I interesting to see how the songs fair separately. Obviously, a big deal these days with things like the greatest showman having a successful soundtrack can be a massive boost -til film. But as the whole experience of you watching the film inhering these songs for the first time. I mean, just totally bought and the the emotional payoffs in the emotional journey through the film found radio affecting, and it's it's big, it's big hearted is a big emotions is singing. Your feelings is human connection.
