Where Are the PROSECUTIONS?! Jim Hanson Weighs In

"I've had Matt Gaetz and empty G on the show regularly for something we call the America first strategy sessions. And they have this great vision, Matt said, when we win in the midterms, God willing, we're going to turn every single committee of Congress into investigator committee. We're not going to have special standing once everyone, whether it's ag, whether it's justice, whether it's national defense and armed forces, will be an investigative committee. We're going to subpoena the crap out of these cowards and treasonous individuals. And I thought, yeah, that's interesting like that. But then I realized, I don't care about subpoenas. I don't care about another inspector general's report that leads to nada, okay? I want prosecutions. If lady liberty truly wears a blindfold, then if you have been a seditionist traitorous piece of scum using their clearances like John Brennan like vindman like Eric sharmilla to subvert the will of the people, even if you're a Trump appointe when Mark Esper says, I was defending America as the Secretary of Defense from the president. You go and how many people voted for you Mark exactly schwanz only none, then you should be up on charges. So I've never been called a radical by conservatives, but I think it's time to find because it's not going to be fed. It's going to be a county prosecutor. It's going to be somebody in a Republican state that says, you know what? Mark Esper, you undermined my safety and the safety of my citizens as well. I'm going to prosecute you. Is this a crazy wish list? No. I mean, rule number one, we're in a war. We're fighting for the heart of the republic. And any tool, any weapon we have that you don't use is idiotic. And another one that I like, all right, those are good ways. But even in Congress, they can write into the appropriation bills things they can and can not do. But they never do that. They never do that right in there. Diversity, equity, and inclusion is not dead. Done. Right. No more. CRT. Zero money, no money spent on it. And I think they need to

"So you're right, I run the Salem radio network to say it on podcast network and the Salem news channel and now I'm at executive producer of a movie, although it's not me, it's really Salem that's doing that. And we've got a wonderful event last night at Mar-a-Lago. I'd never been, but imagine this is Trump's house, basically, that he turns over to these events, and we had three or 400 people last night, including some pretty big names, you know, Rudy Giuliani was there. Congressman Matt Gaetz, congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, our friend, yours and mine, Mike lindell. I mean, all of the big names were there, as well as the 5 Salem hosts who were in the movie that went out and found the film. They just did a wonderful job putting that whole thing together. Trump spoke for about 35 40 minutes and he gave high price to Salem and thanked us for helping to fund this movie and of course high price for dinesh d'souza who was really the instigator and the mind behind the movie.

Brave Republicans Confront DOJ About Whitmer 'Entrapment'

"A handful of Intrepid Republicans, and it's, it shouldn't be a handful. It should be the Republicans in a unified political phalanx. But no, it takes the brave ones to go out front. And here I'm talking about, I'm gonna name them. It's led by Marjorie Taylor Greene, but you've got Scott Perry, Dan bishop, Andrew Clyde, Andy Biggs, bob good, Mary Miller, Paul gosar, Andy Harris, Louie gohmert, Thomas massie Matt Gaetz, well, what are they doing? In the aftermath of the exoneration of two key defendants in the Whitmer kidnapping trial, the pressing attorney general Garland for some specific answers. Now, trying to get answers out of Garland is not an easy business. This is like going to the consigliere of Don Corleone and saying, hey, listen, we're we want to find out more about the mafia. You're actually talking to the mafia. But nevertheless, this needs to be done. And so this is a stinging letter and a demand. Of Merrick Garland copied a Christopher wray, and the questions themselves are telling, let me just read a couple of them. Who within the DoJ and the FBI knew about or was involved in the plot to kidnap governor Whitmer, tell us. Remember, this is a letter being sent by the legislators to the executive branch, which is accountable to the legislative branch. Number two, to what extent would the DoJ and the FBI motivated by the 2020 presidential election to paint political opponents as domestic terrorists specifically Vis-à-vis the plot to kidnap governor Whitmer and the events of the U.S. capitol on January 6th, 2021. In other words, this is not just at the FBI staging orchestrating infiltrating and moving along a plot. This is the FBI timing those events to coincide with an election. So the issue here being raised is the election interference, very important issue because these revelations came to light in early October of 2020.

"I want to talk about some of the interne sine fighting that's going on right now inside the Republican Party. Not so much to take sides about it or in it, but rather to show a way to try and send it. So there's been a series of tapes that have come out that show Kevin McCarthy, a bashing other members. Well, of the GOP, specifically Matt Gaetz, but also Brooks, mo Brooks. And this is evidently because Gates and Brooks are seen as taking Trump's side on the election and moreover, their comments about January 6th. And here's Kevin McCarthy. Speaking, I guess I've gays. He's putting people in jeopardy. And he doesn't need to be doing this. And then Steve scalise, the kind of number two guy in the GOP and House says, quote, it's potentially illegal what he's doing. This I find odd, he doesn't say what exactly is illegal. And then Gates has kind of hit back and he said, quote, this is the behavior of weak men, not leaders, striking out at McCarthy and scalise. And then Tucker Carlson on Fox basically says that we got to stop McCarthy from being the leader. Next time, we don't need a quote Republican Congress led by a puppet of the Democratic Party.

"Right, let's cut to the chase earlier this week. Congressman waltz, there was a blessing. I mean, just an embarrassing, truly embarrassing, a hearing on Capitol Hill. We had Matt Gaetz on the show yesterday. Talk to us about the state of the military, the state of the budget. And how a former four star general who's now the Secretary of Defense, I can't imagine I can't remember if this has ever happened before in the history of the Congress. Questions, the patriotism of one of your colleagues in Congress during a testimony? It's shocking. That's what Lloyd Austin did to Matt. Yeah. No, absolutely. I was there. And it's amazing to see some of these appointees. Lose sight of the fact that they're not elected. The American people are our bosses. And they don't put their names on the ballot. We do. And in the House of Representatives, we do it every other year, because that's how the founding fathers intended. We're the people's house. And so that was completely out of line. And the thing that Matt was questioning is you're so focused and I'll tell you about my follow one question in a minute. You're so focused on this woke ism and diversity and equity training and all of that social engineering garbage that you missed the capabilities of the Afghan army as it collapsed. You missed the capability of the Ukrainians when you predicted that Kyiv would fall in 72 hours. For those who misspoke, you said 36 days. What Millie, the chairman of the joint chiefs, the most senior military officer in the world. Said to president Biden, is that Kyiv is going to fall in 36 hours. And there was no apologies. There's no mayor culpa. He tried to actually argue that no, no, no, we got it right.

"But we are witnessing now in Europe, things we thought only our parents and grandparents would ever see and would never happen again. Tanks rolling on the streets of a free, free nation. Matt, your response to the last 36 hours. This never would have happened under president Trump. Bingo. I know that. The Biden administration gas lit this invasion by being so precise about what they would and wouldn't protect. What you understand is a strategist, what Donald Trump understood as a real estate developer is that you never take anything off the table, you never say anything's too certain. You never tell what you're not going to. Exactly. Exactly. Because one thing we know about Vladimir Putin is he will engage right up until the point where he would face kinetic conflict with the United States. He knows he would not survive that. So he's always probing for that threshold right below kinetic conflict. And Jake Sullivan, your favorite Russia host truther. Yes. Came in laid out in Technicolor. What they would and would not do, it showed their whole hand to Putin, Putin played the better hand, unfortunately, than the west, and now, you know, we see something that I think is tragic that will result in a lot of human suffering, but I also fundamentally think this is Europe's problem more than it is the United States

I want you to address them directly. People who listen to the show watch newsmax like breitbart, but aren't engaged. Please talk to them directly. What is their role? We know that there are great Americans that live in all of America's states. Even the blue ones. We rise and fall together and it's my expectation that we're going to ignite that spirit of patriotism that desire for freedom all over this country places we may be never have seen it before. We've got Joe Biden's State of the Union. Yes. But we know what the real state of our union is exhausted by the state of failure that Joe Biden has put us into. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Describes the Dangers of Cryptocurrency

"Talk to us about crypto Bitcoin, Marjorie, what's the issue? What's the danger? Okay, this is a huge issue and I'm barely seeing it talked about, but it has to be terrified. So up here we have Justin Trudeau who's basically gone full dictator in Canada. He's declared martial law, cracking down on his entire country, where he's in full control. He is, he is going in and stealing people's money out of their bank accounts if he considers them a terrorist. But these are really peaceful protesters. These are truck drivers and all of the people that have decided to stand up against the mandates because they're saying my body my choice. Well, what we're seeing is the very same thing that could happen here in that country is just to the north of us. And it has a lot to do with cryptocurrency. We need to start paying attention because right now big banks, big tech and big government, and that's the Biden administration and the Democrat communists in charge. They are lining up to start cracking down and regulating cryptocurrency. And the reason why is they want to be able to control you. I think in the near future, we're going to start seeing a pitch for a digital dollar. And when our currency goes digital, that means that those that are in charge, they can simply push a button and control everything that happens to our currency. So this is a place where we need to protect crypto. We need to protect the blockchain. We need to protect the keys to the wallets and those it needs to completely belong to those who own it.

And so you can get some real swamp drainers at every agency of government. You're going to continue to see this weaponization against our fellow Americans. What we can do is, I think, make incremental progress on issues where actually we have some buy in from the Democrats. And let me give you a strategic point of focus that I think Republicans should put front and center if we take the house back. Pfizer. We should be abolishing, reforming, change. I don't know if it can be reformed. Honestly, we might have to abolish 5. Let's just state the fact out there. How does America have a secret court where the identity of the judges is secret, where the court meets in secret and where the person who is being targeted as an American citizen doesn't represent themselves. "Right, so let's start Matt, give us your response to the latest. It was such a boring document to the judge from Durham saying there might be a conflict of interest between the lawyers representing, you know, Hillary's spy, Michael sussman, but on page two, the atomic bombshell that an individual called Rodney joffe's company wasn't just surveilling president Trump's apartment and Trump Tower, but The White House when we worked in it because quote, quote, from the documents, they had a sensitive arrangement to provide Internet cyber services to The White House. How is this not being picked up by the GOP? Talk to us, man. This is how the deep state works. They utilize national security standards that utilize vendors, they utilize private sector and government sponsored spying, private sector and government sponsored leaks. Seb, you'll remember each and every night when the mainstream media would say that we were Russian agents, we were Putin's lawyers and public relations consultants. And we shared with the American people that the reality was that it was Hillary Clinton. And the Clinton campaign there was engaged in corruption, criminal activity, collusion with Russia, and then utilizing the DoJ, the FBI, the national security apparatus to really I think author these leaks through the mainstream media to try to smear the president and the presidency. So in these Durham indictments, we see that they needed two things. A lie and then they needed so the content of the lie and then the distribution channel. And so they used Russians and they used illegal spying techniques to try to generate the lies and the suspicion. And then they used these DoJ and FBI leaks to get the media to fall

Is It Time to Publicly Finance Our Elections? Rep. Matt Gaetz Shares His Thoughts

"I'm not supportive of this. I'm open minded to it. I see upsides and downsides. Is it time to publicly finance our elections? I am not a fan of that because I don't believe that taxpayers think that money should be like taken from them involuntarily to fund the ambitions of politicians. And I don't think it's necessary. I am regularly one of the top fundraisers in the Congress, and I don't believe I've asked anyone for a check in four years. And it's because in the mail and online, people give 25 $50. Donald Trump revolutionized revolutionized small dollar giving on the Republican side. It was really something that didn't exist on the Republican side. So you would cap the limit maybe, you'd say like, hey, a $1000 limit. No PAC money. I'm trying to think how I want to publicly shame the people that I know. But let's be honest, what from a policy standpoint needs to change, right? Because it's an attitude that has to change. Because you're not going to get the policy change otherwise, Charlie. They're not going to do it. They are so addicted to that pack and special interest money. And it is gross. Well, let's walk through how it works, right? So you have like Citibank, the city bank can't give money to a politician, but they can start a pack. And so city bank can give a bunch of money in the pack and give you like 10,000 bucks or whatever. But then also Citibank can hire lobbyists and then those lobbyists can write personal checks. And then that's right. And then they can hire lobbyist firms. And the lobbyists firms can do fundraisers for you with other and then the firms have their own firm payment. That's exactly their clients because that's another flow. And then they can give to the national Republican congressional committee. Which leadership fund, which is give you credit for it. Hey, I'm going to go to the Republican Party and I'm going to write a $10,000 check. And I want that to be credited to my good friend, congressman Gates, congressman, whom. And then they could also go to the super pacs that are created outside of the orbit and write a $5 million check. Is that correct? Yeah. But you know, you know what my approach is? Bring it

"It looks like the Republicans going to take back the house. I see almost no possibility. That isn't the case. Is that right? Well, I wouldn't measure the speaker's office for drapes quite yet. The macro generic ballot gives us a lot of tailwind. But you actually have to go win specific campaigns in specific candidates. You got to go beat golden in Maine. You got to beat a slotkin in Michigan. And you got to be Laurie and spanberger in Virginia. And these folks have run competitive campaigns and they have won them. And so I don't take it for granted. We have to have compelling candidates. And that's why what turning point has done with this America conference, this pro America conference we've been enjoying is so important because it actually gives our candidates the right tone, the right message, the right infrastructure to be able to go and win and I think that if we just say, well, the generic ballot looks good for us. We could look past some of these specific tactical things. I think what you're talking about is we also have to play to win, not as if we've already won and just play defense and taboo corporate tax cuts, right? Zombie Reagan isn't coming to save us. And so, you know, just sort of harkening back to the zombie Reagan issue matrix won't be helpful.

"I mean, it seems to me that in order to fortify the original and I think preposterous claims, this was a coup. This was an insurrection. The left has been really destroying the lives of these ordinary citizens, and many cases nonviolent. In some cases, these a guy who, yeah, they pepper sprayed the cops, but what we don't know is whether the cops pepper stray them and attack them first. What do we do at this point to unravel the narrative of January 6th? Not the false narrative, but to bring out the truth about January 6th and why is the Republican Party? I mean, with a few exceptions virtually all Republicans have run away from this particular topic, they're basically letting these guys die on the field. Is it part of your vision, not just to have a new strategy, but also kind of a new combative spirit that doesn't leave our doesn't leave people to rot in the way that evidently the Democrats feel comfortable within this case. Well, I'm no one's lawyer, I'm no one's defender each case ought to be decided individually and if people were violent, we have a criminal justice system to resolve that. What I object to is when there's a group of people being treated differently in sort of a one off as a consequence of politics. And I'm worried that's exactly what's happening with the January 6 detainees. We were in a recent Republican strategy session dinesh behind closed doors and leader McCarthy stood up before everyone and said the polling shows us that the American people believe that the treatment of the January 6th issue is partisan. And so please stop talking about it. Instead, let's go talk about inflation. And it begged the question, what leader McCarthy? Why do you think people see this as partisan? It's because we've been talking about it. It's because we've been showing folks how circumstances are different for people charged with the very same offenses or who committed the very same offenses in different parts of the country in different circumstances based on a different political perspective. And so I actually think we have to continue to show the American people that the radical dangerous left that is in charge right now. They don't want to just go after the January 6 detainees or a certain group of members of Congress. That's just the front end of the wave. Most of them want to destroy most of us. And I think having that frame will ignite that combative spirit to get out there in elections to win races, we need to win, and then when we take power through those democratic means to use the institution of Congress, not as a platform for theatrical committee performances, but instead dogged real oversight that can result in. I think a new appreciation for the danger that these people really pose to our nation. If I can sum up, and I'm not sure I'm using an actual real word, we actually need to depend the Republican Party, and I think you're helping us to do that. Thank you very much Matt gets for joining me on the podcast. Thanks so much, dinesh. It's a pleasure. Want to give a really cool Christmas present to your loved one? It's called American underdog, rated PG, parental guidance suggested in theaters everywhere, Christmas Day. And back with congressman Matt Gaetz, Matt you said at the last segment that, you know, that the guys at CNN, one of the reasons they hate you is because you're effective. Well, there is a school mentality among Republicans in Congress that if you don't swim too far away from the big fish, if you stay close, stay tight and don't get noticed much, then you're unlikely to be preyed upon by the lobby core by the media by the globalist institutions that are always seeing seeking to reinforce their agenda at the expense of the American people. Definitely, I am wired differently. I don't say that to be self laudatory. It's just an observation because I think that we actually don't have to sell out if we just do what we told people we would do when we ran for office. But unfortunately, the orientation into Congress tells you that if you give your calendar to the leadership, if you give your vote card to the lobby core, life is pretty good for you. And you don't really have to endure the risk that appends the activity that forces change. Now, there are many Republicans who believe that we're going to be taking the majority dinesh. And I want to make sure that we're worthy of the majority. It's likely Joe Biden will still be the president. I know Kamala Harris checks his pulse every time she shakes his hand, but it's likely he'll still be there in a Republican majority. And I don't believe that we ought to do a rerun of the John Boehner Paul Ryan strategy of just passing bills that we know Joe Biden will veto calling it a moral victory. I think they put the repeal of ObamaCare on president Obama's desk like 60 times. He vetoed it every time. And then they didn't have the guts when they had unified control of the government to put the same bill on president Trump's desk. So here's my competing alternative vision. Convert every committee into an oversight committee. Ensure that every chairman has investigations that are fair just proper, but that we are dogged and determined in pursuing them. In almost every committee in the Congress, we can see where the Biden administration is engaging in fraud and corruption. And rather than passing bills and holding hands and praising bipartisanship, we ought to go after it. We ought to, the armed services committee, where I serve, we ought to be going after the extent to which critical race theory and woke ism is harming readiness in our military and how vaccine mandates are harming readiness. In the judiciary committee, we could look at the department of justices targeting of parents who show up at school board meetings. Even in the education committee, they should be looking at the Biden center at UPenn that took all that money from the Chinese Communist Party, didn't disclose it. And then really ran their government in exile. I think that if we had that approach, we would actually excite our voters and show them that we will do something for them if we get the full control of the government that is necessary to act. What do you think mad of the idea? I mean, it seemed to me a very troubling precedent when Democrats got together and started voting to throw Republicans off the Republican seats off of committees. So Marjorie Taylor Greene, you're off your committees. Paul gosar, you're off your committees. Now, isn't it a fact that the only way to stop this kind of nonsense is for Republicans to not only do the same thing, but to escalate if Republicans have a majority, let's start by throwing ten Democrats off their committees, and they'll learn extremely quickly because it doesn't appear like appeals to justice or this is not the right thing to do guys or op eds in national review online about civility are really getting us very much, are they? No, I do think that they have likely made Marjorie Taylor Greene the most powerful member of the Republican Congress by throwing her off committees. If they had to do it again, they probably put her on all the committees to try to keep her busy so she wouldn't be engaging in some of the rigorous oversight that she's engaged in now exposing a lot of truths about the January 6th detainees. What Republicans ought to do? Why stop at ten? Dinesh, I think the Republican Speaker of the House ought to take suggestions from Democrats as to who that they would like on committees, but we ought to place all the Democrats on all the committees. By the way, that's not unprecedented. That's what we do in the state of Florida. In our Florida legislature, the minority makes recommendations to the speaker about who they'd like on various committees and the speaker can either accept those recommendations, reject them or modify them in part. And so if I were Speaker of the House, I would be very eager to take Nancy Pelosi's suggestions, but I would give her no power to put even a single of her members on committee without my approval because that's the way they've treated our members in some cases. What about the business about January 6th?.

Msnbc i'm your host alison gill. Hello everyone. I'm in los angeles if it's a bit echoey in here that's because i'm in a very big echoey hotel room with not a lot of soundproofing so i apologize for the sound quality. I am going to have a pretty big show for you today. Later on to be talking to tristan smell. He actually worked on the trump university fraud case with the attorney. General in new york. And we're going to be going over the matt gaetz updates the drop today and one of our patrons david from brooklyn will be joining me to read the good news because as we all know. Dana is out tonight. She has her show on fire island in new york. So you're in the neighborhood. Go check that out. You know there is a headline in here. That i'm probably not gonna go into depth on too much. But trump has appealed the house oversight committee ruling for years now. We had two things trying to get his taxes right. We had the ms ours. I should say the maziarz documents we had the house. Oversight committee subpoenaed them and then we had the house ways and means committee that subpoenaed them the house ways and means committee is the one where the law says that the irs shall furnish. That's just for the house ways and means committee that is not the law for the oversight committee and so the judge. Recently as we know yesterday decided they could have trump's maziarz documents related to his dc downtown hotel and potential emoluments but only while he was in office and as we expected. Trump has appealed that ruling so that will probably go up to the next level. We will see although amy barrett today decided that the supreme court was not going to hear the indiana university vaccine case brought by that guy who brought citizens united member. How we were worried about that. So you know. I guess a we shred of understanding the actual law presented by. Amy conybeare it today. So indiana university will be allowed to mandate vaccines. That's a big decision going forward in. I as i'm sure we would have seen and we'll see probably future cases but now we have a little bit of precedent on that. "It can't be safe because a federal entity says. No you can't come into the building at department of justice's so what next one looks. I think a lot of members of congress would just sort of get into a letter writing campaign. But we don't do that we show up. That's why we showed up at the doj asked her questions letters work no and when we got ignored there. That's why we showed up at the prison and we're going to continue to be active and in the face of this administration that is totally out of control and you know what would be. Helpful would be some additional support from some of our republican colleagues. Absolutely here's the question. I get from a lot of constituents. Will they get to see adam. Kissing are crying the day away. And they get to see. Liz cheney arm-in-arm with adam schiff but where are the tough republicans asking the real questions about january six so martin now fairness we have a few we we have. "I this is on you. Want on one. We might have to rework that love. Because he's gonna be one onto today because we have two of the most committed robust freedom fighters who've agreed to come in studio today non other than mod retailer green and matt gaetz congressman congresswoman extraordinaire. Welcome in studio funky with you now. I know you initially extended the offer for one one. But i can't you know you don't want sonny without share. Are you gonna give out every background. We have people to name to get behind the scene. Said yes she'd come in. Would you come in. And then maybe both of you. Because you've been right. You've been doing this tour. We we've toured america. We've tried to prisons. We've tried to go in and justice and we seem to be on a tour of the united states congress in some ways because we're treating the job very differently than a lot of our colleagues southerners thursday last week. You guys tried to go into a prison and you were first time ever prevented from going. I mean usually not allowed to break out. Right right yeah. Usually people walked in prison but we were actually locked out of prison literally locked out. They locked the door okay. We're gonna talk about everything you're doing. Forty made a long list before we started first things i can. I tell you a little background story. Where if you guys to arrive and there's many reasons to like both of you We can talk about and we will through the hour but you know one of the greatest reasons we prepping doing. Pre-production eating a slice of pizza and one of my guys goes. This is gonna be a zoo in a few minutes because mt g. and gates arriving and their entourage is we don't have enough chairs and i thought entourage's that's not what i'm used to it. These guys this is in the swamp this is average politician horizon forty-eight handlers and everything and you ride both of you with one person one and then a few minutes later and not so your entourage was to people i think that hells you everything you need to know about these individuals okay. Let's start with. What i think is the most serious maybe tactical but it's the most serious issue. We have americans in prison in solitary accused of being an insurrection who are actually being charged with. What is it interrupting and official preceding and you try to see these people. Tell us what happened. When was there on thursday. You try to visit. So here's an important frame doctor who orca. Every month. In america members of congress tour detention facilities congresswoman green was just out one on the border. Democrats got to tour detention facilities during trump administration. Republicans have toured some detention facilities under the biden administration. This is not an unusual thing and so we wanted to see the conditions that the january six detainees. Were facing and really. It's an opportunity for us to see how the correction system is working more. Broadly we put a lot of money into that system through the first step back. And so this is part of congress's normal oversight phone side. We were called trespassers. Buy yes the authorities running the prison correct when we went into the lobby. We came and we instantly financial delegation congressional. Yes advanced not unannounced. Let them know we were coming. We have been sending letters asking questions for months. Now is a federal facility. Federal federal prison. Yes we got no answers so we decided we'll go ourselves. Let them know we were coming. We go into the lobby. Produced our identification. It was matt gaetz myself. Louie gohmert paul gosar producer. Identification showed them. We worked waited in the lobby and then they told us to wear masks. Of course we put on our masks and when a woman came out to speak with us she told us we were trespassing. As we're standing in the lobby that special told you from the prison that as congressional members you are trespassing on a federal facility paid for by us the taxpayer. I don't know who they think. Appropriate these funds but it gets even worse after. We were accused of traveling. Then we went outside. Oh yes yeah gore and we went outside just real quick man. We went outside to speak to the supervisor. We were told they were outside. When we went outside to the supervisor they locked the doors and would not let us back in. That's that is literally what happened at a federal prices legal tools you all supposed to have oversight as members of congress. The house has has oversight of spending. This is not just offensive to the four members of congress that went and attempted to conduct our official duties. it is offensive to the congress at large. Because what are you saying is that is that you don't have a right to see what the biden regime is up to behind closed doors. In normal circumstances. Republicans and democrats would join together to be offended by this and to take action against it. If you can't find out if you guys can't find out what's happening in a federal prison. Nobody can our concern for. I'm concerned for the entire prison population. Not just the january six detainees. I'm concerned for all of them. Because that prison is being run by people who were so defiant to members of congress. They call trespassers. And then lock us out and vote to fund their ruddy so then what isn't even more recent development. The dc department of corrections puts out a statement following our visit that in addition to lying suggests that we compromised the safety and security of the staff and of those who are at this particular facility just by showing up in seeking a tour the how is their facility so fragile that a two-hour would compromise the safety of the be shot down two on our members of congress with id's if all compromise the security of a of a prison right that members of the judiciary committee broncos are oversight committee. Louie gohmert judiciary. He's also a former judge his the next question. If you look on social media a lot of the seventy-three million who voted for donald trump have had it with the gop's and we wrote a letter to right. Okay so what happens next. Let's go back to why you went there. Why did we went bigger americans who are in solitary on trespass charge some of them grandmothers when. Blm antifa don't spend a day in prison well while canceling us online. While pursuing us in real life the biden administration also believes. They can ignore our questions so this wasn't just a suicide ponte visit right for months reasonable. Rational questions have been totally ignored. So the first thing we did was shocked the department of justice. Choose and we said. Hey look we only got five members of congress on the same shoes on the same thing to ask questions about the civil rights issues that that we were curious about they wouldn't even let congresswoman green in the lobby as there was a left wing mob assembling to threaten our ability to even make statements lately and i have to tell you sebastian as a woman and as a first time member of congress. I've never experienced that kind of treatment. I have so many death threats. It's unreal and the department of justice. Left us all out on the sidewalk. And i really was concerned for our safety as i was looking down each side each different direction of the sidewalk. Seen all of these leftists and activists coming in because we had put out a press. Release that we were going so that we could provide information to the press and share it with the american people. Well here comes all the leftists in the crazy activists that are paid and here. They're coming and they would. Not even i ask. Can we please wait in the lobby for security reasons and they would not even let us have anger. This is what i say. This is out of control. Total when a woman. I don't care whether it's a congresswoman or not..

"Thanks all right. Next new investigation into congressman matt gates on whether he obstructed justice. Gosh the fbi is busy. Aren't they when he spoke to a witness connected to his co. trafficking investigation that eat the details on that after. This has been a little while since we heard about the federal probe into republican congressman. Matt gaetz of florida when last we left him just a few weeks ago gates associated. Remember him from florida. Tax official named. Joe greenberg pictured there with that roger stone pleaded guilty to six charges including sex trafficking of a minor greet to fully cooperate with federal investigators. Now that's bad news for congressman gates. Who himself is under investigation for apparently among other things sex trafficking. That seem minor. Investigators are looking into whether had a sexual relationship with a seventeen year old and paid for her to travel with him. Pizzas not been charged with any crimes. He's repeatedly denied any wrongdoing. But now he's facing. Apparently a new problem political reporting that federal prosecutors are examining whether he obstructed justice during a phone call with a witness in that sex crimes investigation. Ariana berg served federal prosecutor in both the southern district new york and the northern district california and she joins me now. I'm always curious about how kind of the crime and the cover of relate to each other in terms of obstruction investigations right. So there's some underlying misconduct that might be criminal and then there's some conduct after the fact to obscure it. How do prosecutors treat those in this kind of investigate chris. Thanks so much for having me on tonight. As you mentioned in your lead in the reporting is that representative gates is being looked into for obstruction of justice. Now oftentimes we think of crimes like substantive crimes child sex trafficking for example man act prostitution cases those are the sort of substantive crimes that we typically think of when we think of criminal cases but obstruction of justice charges are equally important. It's important to know that those can be charged as a stand alone. Crime meaning that even if investigators in this case do not develop enough information to charge representative gates with the sex crimes that the reportedly looking into you they still could charge him with. Obstruction of justice in those charges are incredibly serious under the sentencing guidelines. Which are the guidelines that federal judges looked to for guidance in how to sentence crimes obstruction of justice faces a minimum guidelines range of fifteen to twenty one months in jail. So they really are quite serious. If proven true the pattern or or the precedent. Right which is was what we saw largely in the roger prosecution right stone was it wasn't obstruction but it was. It was perjury right. That he was. He perjured himself under oath that he also lied to congress and stone was convicted unanimously by jury of his peers. He was sentenced and then he was pardoned by the president. So there's some. There's some precedent here. I want to just read. The investigators apparently are zeroing in on and get your reaction to which is this obstruction increased stems from a phone. Call a witness some witness talking federal prosecutors had with gates his ex girlfriend at some point during the conversation. The exco patched gates into the call sources said. Well it's not known. Exactly what was said. The discussion that calls central to whether prosecutors can charge gates with obstructing justice which makes it illegal. Which makes it illegal suggest to witness a criminal case. Lie or give misleading testimony. I mean generally as a lawyer right. You're you're advising someone in that situation not to be talking to anyone any witnesses whatsoever right. Yeah that's exactly right. If i were represented gates's until i would absolutely tell him to shut up at this point. You really should stop talking. Because as we can see he's exposing himself potentially two more criminal exposure and what's important to note here. Is that assertion of justice to me as a prosecutor if someone is working so hard to essentially do witness intimidation which is what the reporting is sort of alluding to here trying to influence potential witnesses to alter what they otherwise would testify to in court worse when they're speaking with criminal investigators. Then that shows me that there is some consciousness of guilt here. Is he working so hard to cover up. And so in fact while it. Maybe a standalone charge of obstruction of justice. It might end up bolstering any evidence that the prosecutors have of any substantive. I'm like sex trafficking a great great point area and a bird. Thank you so much for them. Last night During my conversation with cdc director rachelle..

"Don't really like when you take a girl somewhere on a plane. You kind of just like my spiritual Twitter adviser. Really messed up my thinking on this. There's something deeper there about. I think the gate story is one that, well, yeah, it's like super funny that he's just getting exposed for the piece of shit everyone knows he is, but it's also there's two unfortunate things at play here, which is now all these people are coming out saying it was a known thing that he did all this shit and then he showed these photos at work. So now we're seeing so you got so all you guys knew he was doing this. It didn't say shit until now. Now that he's in hot water. That's a problem number one. But problem number two that his story points to is the overall thinking about people in your own life, you know? I personally, I truly don't know anyone who kind of falls into this category, but I'm sure there are a lot of people reasonable people out there who have a friend in their orbit who maybe is a guy in his 30s who is consistently bringing a new girlfriend around who is like 21. And there comes a point in time where everyone sort of starts to think it's a little weirder. It's one thing when we're all 23. It's one thing when we're all 25. Then people start getting married, getting into their 30s and Joe over here is bringing 21 year olds around still. It's like, it's just like those are the kind of guys in your orbit that some people are probably kind of realizing, okay, this might be kind of a weird. This might be a problem, or he at least is someone who probably needs to see a fucking therapist and figure out why he can't date anyone age appropriate. You know, or at least within like 5 years of his age, like there's something there, you know? So I think his I think this whole story, I hope if anything it just creates some sort of awareness in people that there are way more men out there than we think who would fuck a teenager if they can get away with it. You know? The whole if they can get away with it thing is the factor. Yeah, that's what scary too is like, what if Matt Gaetz was a little bit smarter? Yeah, what if he was even slightly what if he had even a little bit of self preservation in his brain? Like what if he didn't float through life completely consequence free and thought to himself like, oh, you know what? I probably won't get away with this if I do this as this. As I do so long, thank you so much for being here. This is awesome. Yeah, it was great talking to you. You did such a good job of breaking everything down. Thank you. I just want to know, I just wanted to know from you what? What's going to happen, so I'm sorry. You know, I really think it's good. I think it's going to get I think it's going to get worse for him for sure before it gets better. That's my prediction based on the things that I've read so far, but who knows or like I said, he'll be the next president. He could either either way. It'll be fun, either way, it's going to be fun. That's funny. All right, well, thank you so much for being on. Thank you for your time. Sorry I kept you so long. No, it's okay, I love it..

"They had hotel, which also would be a transaction that would be recorded. So they're not thinking this through. Which is kind of a typical. That's why I say that he really falls into this like they're truly is nothing unique about him. We're going to find out how not unique it is for these guys to want to fuck teenagers. But that's that will come that later. If not that unique, like, these guys are just, whatever this is, whatever we know now as of today, April 5th. Is not going to be limited to Matt Gaetz in this guy. I have a really bad feeling. There's like a ring of people involved. But anyway, just like the non thought. Yeah, they just don't, they, what makes it so such a typical story and one that would not even fly as original like a TV show. Is that guys like that? Spend their entire lives just kind of like from, you know, bouncing from one bad decision to the next with zero consequences, right? So if you're 38 years old, you've never had a fucking consequence a day in your life. Of course you think you can pay a teenager on cash app. With you somewhere. And fuck you and all your Friends. Of course you think you can do that, you know? It's really a very simple everything new that we learn about him. I'm just like, yeah, of course. Of course he did that. Of course he thought he could get away with that. You know? And so at this point now, it's like pretty obvious that the things that are said about him are true. And then there's the other the next thing is so bad. So basically, in the course of this investigation, now, of course, anonymous sources from Congress, other Republicans that don't want to be named. Are saying, well, it was sort of an open secret that he would show photos and videos of women that he's had sex with. On the floor of the House of Representatives. So like at work. So he's God only knows what sort of things are on these photos and videos and if they were taken consensually or I don't know. But so he's got this like little parlor game with these douchebags that he works with where they have like an actual game about it, like if they can that they can sleep with interns, they get a certain number of points or something. This is all coming out now because now people on the Republican side see they see the writing on the wall. They know he's cooked. They don't care if he gets in trouble because they're either just going to distance themselves from him. Or I think they're more likely scenarios that a lot of them probably are guilty themselves and are probably, there's probably a few laptops on fire right now in Washington D.C.. So we're at the bottom of the Potomac. I have, again, great summary. And I have two questions for you. Right now, initially. One is, why was Matt Gaetz, why were they sorting through the IDs? Well, they were doing it because I think one story I read on the Orlando sentinel or whatever their local paper is. That the feds suspect that this guy Joel Greenberg. He's the one who's in major trouble right now so far man has not been indicted. Right. This guy is a major trouble. And they suspect that what he's been doing is creating using real IDs to give to underage girls. She's like an ID, you know? Whether to be getting into bars or getting on a plane. Yeah. Things like that. I'm sure. But that's what I'm saying. Why was he showing the IDs why was he being like, check these out. So why would he do that unless Matt Gaetz was actually using them as well? Yeah. He had to show a person a bunch of IDs and not explain what you're doing. Also what are you 20 years old? Selling fake ideas to high school kids. You guys are in your fucking late at this time they would have been mine. They would have been 35. Like what a loser, like everything he does is so everything he does is just like the tackiest possible like fucking northwest Florida version of a normal thing. You know, like, he can't even do a crime that isn't like the tackiest fucking like, you know, strip mall version of the crime that he can. Like he's just he's like a he's like a he's like a novelty like stupid, loud toy that you find at a gas station. He remember when remembering the 90s when those Billy big mouth bass things that would go on the wall and like you turn it on and the fish sings at you have two minutes that was funny and then it was just a stupid piece of shit thing that you owned that was a fish that's saying to you. That's what Matt Gaetz is. He's a Billy the big mouth bass. Who got elected to Congress? I don't think the photos he was showing were consensual because yeah, they probably weren't, unfortunately. One of them, one of them was a lady doing a naked hula hoop. Oh, God. See, like, that's not. Who would take a video of someone doing that? And then I'm gonna get at work. They said, so they said a picture. Which is even more like you would want a photo? Yeah, the photo would be terrible. It would be blurry. It would just be a God a hole. But that's the kind of thing that Matt Gaetz thinks he's cool for showing other guys because he is a high school junior who is somehow in a man's body. Did he have the hula hoop? Did I have who is this girl? But I think they're gonna find that shit out, you know why? 'cause he's too fucking dumb to know that even if you delete something off of your phone, if they have a subpoena, they're gonna find every single piece of data that your phone has ever received or sent or stored. Yeah. Eventually we're gonna figure out who are the people in these photos, did they know these ones were taken? Were they even in the same room as Matt Gaetz when they were taken for all we know? He's such a he's such a complete fucking loser. He could very well be taking a screenshot of something that somebody else sent him that somebody else experienced. Oh, yeah. No matter what happens. His only hope at this point is that he's such a loser that he didn't even actually do any of these things. He just said he did? That might keep him out of jail. That's like oh my God. Scenario is that we all find out just what an absolutely like that he can't even actually do crimes. And we lie about them. He was just taking money. For him. I didn't do any of this. I just told you guys I did so I can get points in our game. Oh my God, bro the other thing is the other angle of this that I find so depressing. Other than the fact that there are very likely minors involved. That's obviously the worst thing in the world. But the stuff that we could at least laugh at is the fact that Matt Gaetz had a, this locker room game going with other assuming other sitting congressmen and the four are they getting any points? Yeah. Do your points count if you paid these girls, you know? He can't even fuck someone without it being transactional because he's such a dream. So and then the other thing, so he's got that going against him is actual hard financial evidence that he was involved in this with this guy, Joel Greenberg. Until Greenberg's trial was supposed to start in June, it's probably going to get moved because of the new indictments that he has. So I'm guessing probably what's going to happen is prosecutors know they have a slam dunk on Joel Greenberg. Perhaps part of whatever investigation Matt Gaetz is involved in. He can.

"Information that came out that he is under federal investigation for possibly sex trafficking, which is like a really unfortunate series of words that you never want to hear about yourself. And he so he does what all these guys do is and tweet through it and then goes on Tucker Carlson and goes on this like, so all we know now all we do at this point was that he was under federal investigation by the Department of Justice, which the investigation actually started under the Trump administration under Bill Barr. Levar. Yeah. For potentially trafficking, which is like the legal word for transporting someone for the purpose of paying them for sex. And this allegedly is a 17 year old at the time. So he goes on Tucker Carlson, and the best part about his Tucker interview was that he was trying to sort of like he was kind of trying to make Tucker feel like he was in on it with him. Yeah. You know? You and I have both been accused of things we didn't do. It was normally very confused face got even more confused and was like, what the fuck are you talking about, bro? And then he tries to do the second thing he says that Tucker was I imagine very mad about. Was Tucker Carlson is like the worst person on earth, but he's not stupid. So Matt Gaetz was like, well, you remember, I went to I went to dinner with you and your wife a couple of years ago when I brought a friend with me and now they're saying that that friend is involved in this investigation, which is like another way of saying, well, we went to dinner with 17 year old girl. You were there. Essentially trying to name him as an accessory to which Tucker Carlson immediately because he's a pro at what he does was like, I don't know the context of what you're talking about, and I don't remember any of that. And then just plowed through, he said it so I believe I could hear Tucker Carlson in his earpiece his producers like don't let him get him off this topic. 'cause he's what he's leaving his baby doesn't accessory right now, bro but when Tucker said that when he was like, I actually don't remember that at all. He did it so casually and so cool, I was like, I was like, I believed him. I was like, oh, I see why people listen to it. Yeah, exactly. I definitely could see him not truly not remembering that dinner just because he probably goes to dinner with a million people all the time. Because of his showing up, or he definitely does remember and he's thinking of in his head like, oh God, that girl did look pretty young. If your buddy brought if my buddy brought a 17 year old girl. Well, I guess. You remember you'd be like, I don't know. She looked pretty young to me. It would like burn into your brain as a moment that you know you need to hold on to for later. Yeah, remember this because this tells me a lot about this guy. Yeah, she had a hair band on. Yeah, like she had a backpack. He had just picked her up from school, I guess. That's essentially what we're talking about. So he goes on Fox News, goes on this red faced rant to Tucker Carlson about it. He claims that his that he is being ensnared in some sort of extortion scheme, which extortion often involves someone who actually did admit did do a crime, but they're just being blackmailed for it. So he's like, I didn't do this. I'm being black and something I did. Okay. So and then he says something, it's incoherent. Like he says something about his father wearing a wire I know. I have never I have never dealt with the FBI, but I can't imagine that I would admit based all the movies I've seen about the mafia and stuff. You don't want anybody to know you're wearing a wire. But old Matt Gaetz went on national television and said it. He said Nate. He said the names. Yeah. So then that was so then a day or so later we find out that he is definitely a target of this investigation because here's where the next plot thickens in this Coen brothers saga, we got weaving here. So the guy at the center of all this is a guy named Joel Joel Greenberg, I think is his name. He I think that's his name. I just looked him up really well. I don't get his name incorrect. Yeah, dill Greenberg is his name. This guy is even sleazier than Matt Gaetz. Believe it or not. So this fucking guy named Bill Greenberg is like about the same age as Matt Gaetz, I didn't go there late 30s. And he is or like, was The Tax Collector, which is an electric position in Seminole, Florida, which is in Central Florida. Four hours away from Matt Gaetz's district. So no idea how they know each other. Let's go through some skeezy Republican network of people. They somehow met four or 5 years ago, and they're like well documented best Friends. He and this guy, you know, just because like they all do, they post photos on social media and Facebook and stuff. So he's best friends with this dirt bag, skis ball, Central Florida, local elected official. This guy in his capacity as the county or whatever tax collector somehow also had access to things that like at the DMV when you bring in your driver's license in exchange for a new one. You found it, you hand over the old one. And they're supposed to destroy it and dispose of it. Well, what his office was doing was they just kept them in like a basket or something or box. And he would go in and take them and then use them to create either fake IDs for himself as different identities to do God knows what? Or as we find out, he would create IDs for girls who were like 14 to 17. Gross, right? So Matt dates gets ensnared in this because this guy door Greenberg is under investigation for a literally a list of like 30 different crimes. He's been indicted for multiple ones. He just got indicted for more like today or yesterday. The guy is like, fucked. But in the course of investigating him, they found camera footage of him and Matt Gaetz going into his office on a Saturday. And fishing around in the bucket of IDs. So what's Gates been up to? And that's how this whole thing cut, this happened in 2018. Yeah. And basically the thing that's connecting Greenberg and Matt Gaetz is that the same 17 year old girl is involved in both of their stories in a way because they found because Matt Gaetz is so fucking stupid. He used Apple Pay and cash app to like these girls from sex. Instead of cash, the old fashioned way, he used electronic formats. So now they have evidence that he and Joel Greenberg have each paid have each had at least one transaction with the same woman who at the time was 17. So that's 6° of Kevin Bacon is like this one girl. Who is connected to both of them through transact through hard evidence. They have bank numbers and shit involved. So yeah, so now he's dealing with that. They also had a hotel ATM. Yeah. Yeah,.

"Politics was when he took over for an embattled Republican who had lost his see through a series of scandals, obviously northwest Florida. It is for context his district is like one of the reddest in Florida and actually one of the Redis like in the country. It is like slammed down Republican like whoever runs is gonna get it. Whoever wins a crime, but the primary is the race in that district. So he runs in 2017. Gets elected. So he's been in the U.S. House of Representatives for the last one, no, I mean a little bit longer than that. He's in his third term, I think. So he with like no real information on what he did before this. He was a lawyer. He has a JD that he got from William college of William and Mary, which is like one of the most elite private schools in the country. You'd never know it 'cause all these guys like to talk about is how like beard baseball fucking working man, blue collar, you know, no they're not. They're pretty little fucking rich boys that go to east coast schools and that's exactly what he did. So anyway, he's been in Congress for like 6, 7 years, and he made a name for himself, particularly throughout the Trump administration as being like the biggest carnival Barker in even like a monster chorus of guys who are just like debasing themselves all the time to standing up for Trump. He's the worst of them. So if you have somehow made it to this point without knowing who met gaetz's. Congratulations. I'm not being terminally online like I am. But it is important to know as a piece of context for thinking about what we're talking about what he's dealing with now because the fact that he spent the last four or 5 years being like the loudest dumbest one of all of Trump's biggest cheerleaders in Congress is now kind of like, in a way, kind of biting him in the ass, I would say. Oh yeah, and also his, he was in the state Senate, I think, and his dad, because his daddy was his dad's seat. His dad was also a Florida state representative, not in Congress, but at the Florida legislative level. Yeah, and I just think that's a pattern too. They all do the same. It's all like, you look at these guys Wikipedia and it doesn't take long to realize they just sort of, they just sort of fell ass backwards into the same thing their dad was doing. They're all like these fail sons who couldn't possibly carve their own way in life. He, another piece of information about Matt Gaetz that I find very weird and entertaining. And very typical. Like everything about this guy is typical to the point of being like an overwrought TV character. He is someone who you would come up who you would find in like a WB script for like sleazy politician. You know what I mean? Like there's nothing unique about the man. So in falling perfectly in line with the entire theme of everything about him, he got arrested for DUI in like 2010. I think it was. Oh, I didn't know this one. Yeah, he got arrested in Florida for DUI. And he did not end up actually getting charged for it. The judge just missed the dismissed the case because basically a series of technicalities from the police work that was done or whatever. Of course he declares himself he takes that information and is like, I'm innocent, see, it's like they just threw out the case because they didn't have enough information to convict you. Step one of the Republican playbook is to declare yourself innocent because we fucked up when they arrested you. Yeah. So he's how did you I before he, he's in or like, you know, he's been arrested for DUI. He's been in Congress for a while. One weird thing that he did that came up about kind of at the beginning of the pandemic was like around maybe May or June of last year was that it was revealed all of a sudden on Twitter that he has like, what he calls a son in this 19 year old Cuban guy named Nestor, so Matt Gaetz is like, he's like this loud mouth idiot politician on every Sunday show, like Fox News, blah, blah blah. All of a sudden it has a 19 year old person who is living with him in sort of a father son way, but no one can figure out the origin of how that happened. And then later on because he's one of those guys he's says something stupid and then tweets through it. Eventually you get to the origin of what the fuck he's talking about. So the story is that apparently he dated this guy's older sister years ago when the guy was like 12, when I was a 12 year old kid, and then kept raising him after they broke up. If he were a Democrat, they would have forced him out by now. Like imagine a Democrat being like, oh, I have a 19 year old that lives with me. That's my kid, but I don't have any paperwork showing how that happened. Well, Andy, didn't he help get his ex-girlfriend who's a sister? Yeah. Custody of him, because it was some weird thing where she was basically raising him more or less because their family was back home in Cuba. And then their relationship fell apart, but he continued to raise this boy, lived with him, I guess. And still does, I think. And he didn't think to mention it until like a year ago when the kid was when he's now an adult and this kid nest or had appeared in a few photos, people dug up in social media that he had appeared in some photos of Matt Gaetz, but Matt Gaetz would have referred to him as like an intern or like a helper, it was just such a bizarre, like, what? So that's not even the weirdest thing about him. It's just, that's a piece of context for like, these are the types of reasons he pops up on Twitter. Any trends in a day. Do you know why he why he said? He had a son. Do you remember what I remember? I don't remember why he brought it up. It felt like it was okay. It was during a hearing and I think a Democrat was like saying, you know, you don't know what it's like to raise a kid. Yeah. He goes, I have a son. I have a human son. The other one's like, what? No one knew he had a kid. Yeah. And so that's kind of an asshole thing to do anyways. Yeah. Because he was just revealing it to he was really good at the most ass backwards way imaginable, which again was really on brand for him. The guy is just an expert at doing things in the most ham handed, stupid ass way. Well, so the other stuff gets you did a really great job of the other stuff gets really confusing. So do you want to explain the IDs? Oh yeah, I do. Okay. Here's where all this started. This started like oh, and by the way, it's for, again, for anybody who doesn't quite know this guy is, he was probably in the top three of the loudest dumbest supporters of this whole stop the steel bullshit scam that Trump was running for. We now know, obviously, was a very naked fundraiser. That's all it was. It was a way to make more money to scam people. But he was the one who was leading the charge on trying to get Liz Cheney kicked out of Congress or, you know, removed from her seats for standing up for against Trump. He was the one who was encouraging all the stop the steal shit. He was the one interrupting congressional proceedings during the impeachment. The first impeachment trial, et cetera. So he's been at the forefront of all of this. So now what happened about a week at about like ten days ago, I guess, was the initial..

"Yeah, a mistake would be, you know, it's something went wrong. Yeah. What can you do? There's nothing. If something goes wrong, you don't have a backup plan. And now that I have to get leave my house, you know, 5 times a week. I don't know, that's hard to say. As you can say it'd be a good time to practice it in the pandemic. I know. I blew my chance. I should have gotten used to it during that. I know. I can safely say I did not do one constructive thing with myself for the whole pandemic. I didn't learn a new skill. I didn't, I mean, I would say I have gotten like I've essentially quit drinking, which is cool. I suppose, but. Yeah, I didn't prove myself at all. But if you had told me two years ago, hey, you're going to get a year off of work. I would have been like, holy shit, I'm going to write a screenplay. I'm too fucking anything. I sat on Twitter for a year. I know, but your Twitter game is you're at the height. Thank you. I appreciate that. It's getting better. It's getting better. Someday will be me a job. Once I was thinking about that too, I was like, I was like, do I introduce Sarah as a comedian? Because you do all this funny stuff. You know, you're really funny. I love to make a career out of it. I'm getting really talented creative space right now, which is fun. So we'll see. I mean, I just think you should I want you to do a podcast every day. I honestly got you too. If somebody would pay me to do that, that'd be amazing. I know that I don't know how people get paid for it. It's a whole thing. It's like a chicken or the egg. You gotta get all the followers first and then you leverage that to get ads. It's fucking nuts. I'd rather get schooled into an existing project, but we'll see. Now that I'm like in LA and people can meet more and stuff, you know, things will happen, but it's going to take some time. Go to a bunch of weddings. Yeah, I'm going to go to put your weddings just so awesome. Yeah. But that's what pisses me off about, it doesn't really piss me off, but when celebrities get a podcast, actually does make money. A little bit. Yeah. I love tigs doing dignitaries doing two podcasts now. And I love that. But she always did, she did professor blastoff. Way before. Conan O'Brien got one, and then everyone's like, he discovered a new medium. It's like, no, he didn't. Listen, I love Conan O'Brien. Yeah, we all do. He's really bad at podcasting. He tells the same stories. And over. Yeah. I love that too. Well, because that's when it kind of reveals a naturally good conversation is and who relies on a writer's room to come up with most of the material that they talk about, which the nothing against Conan O'Brien what he does on television is fantastic. It's a different medium and podcasting. And the media acted like he had fucking discovered podcasting like a year ago. I know. This has been around for like ten years and a lot of people are doing it really well. And that's the other one wasn't that bad. I really liked the first ten episodes brilliant for himself a bunch. But then Jason Bateman and two other guys started one. Oh yeah. And they had a really great guests, and it's just like, it's just because they were three famous guys. Yeah, 'cause that's what you know they can book all the really talented people and all that. But I will see you from a few years doing small independent ones. We were able to book a shitload of really, really, really funny talented people. We were also in a city where we met a lot of those people and we could bring them on, you know? So it's like, it can happen. It just takes a lot of effort and work. Well, and it's almost we're getting a little I'm getting a little too into this, but it's like film distribution. There's only so many slats on the top charts of like now it's like a celebrity who's had a previous career and they just use that to leverage yeah top of that spot. So it's harder for smaller it is. Yeah, 'cause the whole thing just becomes a playground for like the same ten people. Yeah, produced by the same three people. Not that I'm trying to break it. That sounds like I'm trying to break into podcasting. I'm not what I just. No, it's real, though. I mean, I am. And it's just like it's fucking hard. This is why I noticed the store and stuff 'cause I was like, I was making sure you weren't doing anything, a new project or something I didn't know. Yeah. But you're got a good presence on there. Thanks. Thank you. If you like. Keep trying to do it. If you type my podcast in, it's like another guy just started one with the same name. Oh, that happens too. It's the wild west. There's no. Yeah, you got to come up with like a really weird name. You know, for nobody to copy it, essentially. Okay. Let's get to Matt Gaetz. Let's do it. Okay, now that we've been talking for an hour. I don't know where to start. So where are you in the, you said you've been following this story like the moon landing, which so have I? Yeah. Are you so people listening, let's just start let's just let me just give like a two minute summary of who he is. Please do. I'm gonna enjoy this. I'm gonna sit back. "Welcome to a very special story of, I'm here with Sarah York. I'm so excited to talk to you, Sarah. I'm excited to be here. This is great. You were one of the first podcasts. I don't know if I met you first, or I listened to your podcast first. But I don't know. I don't remember which one would have come first. I would have been a while ago. I listened to diking out first. Yeah. And I didn't know there is podcasts or just like, I thought it was like comedy podcasts and current events, podcasts or whatever. I didn't know there was a whole genre where you talk about stuff and it's hilarious. Oh yeah. Listen to your podcast. I appreciate that. We did talk about a lot of stuff and it was hilarious. Did you ever listen to what I did before that called how to adult? Yeah, that's the one. I found that later. I found that after I oh, that's a deep cloud. That's some old shit there. It was after you left diking out, then I went to adulting until that one. But then I met at a wedding at Jackie's wedding too. Oh man, I had a few drinks at that wedding. That was a lot of fun. Oh, well, I just remember you were on all night. And I can't remember you were so on that I downloaded your podcast or if I had listened to your podcast and was like following you around, but I'm sure I badgered you into downloading it on your phone at some point. It's an aggressive sales tactic. Well, did you guys ever have sponsors and stuff? Not at the time. No, I don't know if they do now, but at the time we didn't, it was just like all self produced. That's awesome. Not awesome that you didn't have. That's all right. 'cause you guys stuck to a schedule, you had how many episodes did you have? I did a 107, I think. And then I did like probably about the same amount with how to adult. So I've got about 200 ish hours episodes really. I mean, each of them they could be like two hours long. So probably like 400 hours of podcasting under my belt. Do you ever go back and listen to them? Sometimes I'll think about them and I'll try to go back to a specific moment if I really am feeling nostalgic, but for the most part, I have such a whenever I stop recording something I always instantly forget everything. So we're just kind of how I live my life. If something just tumbles out of my mouth, I'm just like, well, it's already happened. You know, I just, if I forget about it, surely everyone else did. Just like constantly Dory from finding the quote. That's awesome. Well, because I was listening to the last episode of adults adulting. And it was hard because it was stressful to listen to because it was after the election. Oh, God. Like, Sarah, you guys were talking about Sarah, Huckabee, Sanders. Yeah. But you didn't know who she was. It was so funny because I know that would be a real time capsule because what a stressful time for everyone and then going back to the initial moments when Trump got elected. And that first sort of ensemble cast of pieces of shit in the administration, you know, season one, episode one. Trump was like, this Motley crew of just people that are absolutely either washed out of politics or like Sarah Huckabee Sanders are entering another realm of it, unfortunately, she's probably going to be the next governor of what is it Arkansas or Mississippi, whatever state she's running in. Yeah. Analogy. That's a great announcement because Suzy watched the guy was back on SVU or something, some guy who left? Yeah. It was a crossover event. And so she started watching it from season one and she was like, oh my God, I forgot her. I forgot him. Yeah. And it's like, that's what listening back on that stuff was like. Oh yeah. You guys were talking about scaramucci in one of them. He was only there for like a few weeks. A guest spot on the administration, you know? Yeah, you were on fire that episode. And it's all still good. It's a man. I'm sure. Well, now that we're out of that time in history, it would be a lot more fun to go back and listen to. But in 2018, it wasn't fun to listen to like stuff from right after the election because it was just like so glee because you're like, when are we ever gonna get the fuck out of this? And we did, but you know, obviously some of the remnants are still around. Hence our topic today. But yeah, oh yeah, so our top three. Thank you for joining us. Talk to me as Matt Gaetz. Just in general, Matt Gaetz, but I know too much about Matt Gaetz. I've been following this story like the moon landing. I've been like, when he was on Tucker Carlson, I was like, Jack get in here, you're gonna remember this. You made him watch it. He's like, this show is so boring. There's no cartoons. I was like, well, Tucker Carlson does kind of like a Muppet and he does, yeah. He's got like a little bow tie on. He dresses like a wealthy toddler. He sucks. He could be like, he'll be like a little spin off topic someday. Oh man, okay. Before we get to the topic though, I gotta ask you, I wanna thank my sponsor random question generator dot com. Are you having anxiety? Meeting people after the pandemic? Yeah, I mean, I haven't really the closest I've come to meeting people would be starting a new job in the restaurant business out here. So I have coworkers now, but we're also in a setting where we are all everybody's wearing a mask. The whole time. I don't know what any of my coworkers look like from like the bridge of their nose down. Yeah. And we were face shields. The entire time, so but I have yet to go out to like a restaurant or just like as a customer and I have yet to go to a social function, I have my first shot from the vaccine, but I don't get my second one for another couple of weeks and then but then you're supposed to wait like a three weeks after that. Yeah. So I'm like, I don't know what to do because I before all of this. I love going places and seeing people and stuff and now I'm already swirling around with excuses of why not why I can't go to something, you know? Yeah, that's true. I'm nervous about it. You got to get back in shape kind of, you know, like I've been peloton behind me? Hey, we have one reason I got that. What do you think about it? I actually I'll be honest, I really like it. I like it because I hate actually going to a gym. It took me until my mid 30s to come to terms with myself. You're not going to go to the gym. You're not going to use the memberships. I've looked fucking money on these things over the course of my life. And I hardly ever use them. I can do it in 20 minutes and it's over and I don't think about it anymore the rest of the day. So so far, I'm into it. We've had about a month. I like it. I wish we had gotten it earlier in the pandemic because going back to my previous point about how much I was drinking over the pandemic, I put on like, I put on like a cute 20 pounds, you know? So distributed, but it's there. It's definitely there..

"That's always described in the headline says he's cured himself of being gay. He was cured of being gay before meeting his ex wife during speech in Japan, do tastes mocked his political opponent for moving a homosexual could not get away with this stuff. Only in the Philippines. Any confessed he to used to be gay, but he cured himself. Duterte win on to say it was his relationship with Elizabeth Zimmermann, who was married to him for twenty five years, Zimmerman filed for an annulment in one thousand nine hundred eighty eight telling courts, her husband was a womanizer. But now he says it was she who put him on the straight path. He says, I became a boy again. Became more again. All right. That's a that's interesting like a quote that might belong in an earlier story from the program. Our one we were talking about the instability champion and women strike and field. Right. Became a boy. Again. So I guess his first wife, turn him back to straightness. So that's something we have been told can't happen. He says it did. So I don't know. Hey, do we have the Matt gaetz? Video or is that not ready as well? Yeah. The guy somebody through. Yeah. Through a drink on just just as as was happening in Europe. Now it's come here, and here's somebody throwing a milkshake on Matt, gaetz in Pensacola, Florida. I mean it's here it's here it is. It's already cross the pond. And now somebody saw that and thought that, hey, that's a really good do that to Republicans. Now here I don't even I was a person arrested. I hope you can't just throw stuff on people k. Okay. You can't buy milkshakes and waste in that way. That's true. That's just stupid. That's okay. Yeah. Should be. Let's talk about that. First of all milkshakes to tasty. Don't be don't be wasting like that. And it's so ridiculous to throw them on politicians. Stop it. Why do I feel the first of many politicians that are going to set for that fate? Of course, it is just, just as it was a fad for a, while for people to cost Republicans in restaurants, start yelling, and screaming at him and driving them from the restaurant. They're going to start throwing milkshakes on people to not good. Not good. Good at all. All right. We will see you again tomorrow on Pechory..
