"United States Constitution and to that I say God bless the United States. God bless the United States. Okay, I just want to focus on one poll that makes me happy clappy this morning. Okay. Kristen sinema has a net favorability of -23 points for a new statewide poll in Arizona. We'll go like this. That's really important. Okay. It makes people wrinkle their days. It's makes me snort this one. A new poll out of Arizona by well-known well trusted national pollster. So Kirsten sinema stands to lose reelection badly in virtually any potential match up this November and is deeply unpopular among voters. The future senator Ruben gael, who's been on this show multiple times. There you go. Guy you go. I'll get it right when he's a senator. How about we move on? He is up 42%. Kerry Lake noted loser is the 35% and kyrsten sinema at 14%. Do you know what would be great about her running those? 'cause wouldn't she have to have a press conference to officially resign as fictional governor? Wouldn't shift have a fictional press conference resigning a governor because she says she's the duly elected governor. But she wouldn't have to have that press conference. I'm resigning. Going to be a real senator. Right. Yeah. Kerry has never shied away from a press conference. She'll run to a camera. Some people are saying that she should get Tucker's thing because, you know, she comes with her own filters. Fox doesn't have good vibes. Yes, hosting. Gunning for the vice president. Yeah. I Tucker's chair. The naked. I'm just saying she has shown on record as saying she's the duly elected governor. I'm just saying that would be the entertaining part of her running for Senate, is that she would or vice president. She would have to have a press conference. Wouldn't she have to officially resign her title? She'll have a press conference to announce what she put on her bed that morning. Yeah. As governor, quote unquote. And then wouldn't someone Travis have to wheel her out in a wheelchair to don't cry out loud. It's been her around. She's not anorexic. No. She is. I'm just look on scenarios for what this person is so bad. Okay. The more widely than that. All right. Okay, so speaking

N Korea calls UN chief's remarks on missile test 'unfair'

"North Korea's vice foreign minister for international bodies has called remarks by the UN secretary general on missile tests unfair. Kim son guyon has accused Antonio Guterres of an extremely unfair and imbalanced attitude after he'd strongly condemned the north's intercontinental ballistic missile test on Saturday, and reiterated his call for the north to immediately desist from making any further provocations. Gael accused Guterres of going on the rampage of illogical and miserable remarks, which he says a little different than those of the U.S. State Department officials over the years. "You mostly see yourself first and foremost as a dancer. That's what you've been trained as mostly and then all your other opportunities from commercials were at modeling or thing has really been in extension of your dancing and so for you. What is it about dance in particular that led you or as opposed to acting or singing or any other type of performance. So i i grew up watching mtv in italy and i was obsessed with britney spears and her choreography and her when her music video baby. One more time came out. I said to myself. I want to be britney one day to the state so everyday started says. Britney spears mrs why i'm here. Have you gotten close to what you hoped. Your career would be you know since britney inspired insurgent moments short example when i got four madison spare garden. It was one of those moments where you say all i put so much work in. I came all the way here and was very route that moment simply one of those times when when you reach a certain pinnacle or like madison square garden. You're at a certain venue stage where are right. now. I've hit the big time and so was that for you. The definition of success that definition of of making it. It was a confirmation that i was doing well and putting enough effort. I don't think there's a specific episode. That's gonna give me the sign. Hey you're successful right now you can. You can chill or anything like that. Because i don't want to put my whole existence in my whole work in getting one specific thing that will give me the confidence to be. Okay you wanna keep pushing yourself you achieve one thing but then there's the next thing after that the next thing and so on you wanna keep As you said you wanna keep growing into these different sounders. Yeah as long as i'm growing even slowly. It's fine gael. My goal is to be be content and free from worries anxieties or regrets so as long as moving out slowly. But surely. I'm happy with that. I mean and being free of worry. That is something that i think. It's difficult for a lot of performance because we have such a gig to gig mentality. Do one job that ends all. Gotta find the next one in. You're always trying to find that next thing. So what is it for you that the centers you that helps you feel content. Having good people around me that for sure makes me feel content because yeah we're dancers et cetera. But it's not only that lay put importance on the also in different parts of my life so sometimes. Yeah when dad doesn't go well. At least i had a strong impact of people that can.

"As much as i was prepared to not like this movie Not just from what. I've been told for how much his catalog i don't like I was surprised pleasantly surprised by a lot of it. And it's not. It's it's not a perfect. I'm gonna shit not a perfect movie. I don't even know if it qualifies as a good movie. But i was entertained. I didn't get bored and it also kind of took me back to like okay. it's once again. It's kinley on on an island that he can't get off of maybe lost except this had an explanation at the end. Which i was like. Wow i wish lost had done this. This would have been a perfectly viable ending that series. It would've made me go like oh all right then because it all comes down to like all right. What's really going on here and there's so much of it that's ham-fisted and clumsy but every so often it gets it right and like i said it's something that i could really enjoy with the sound off and i know that sounds like a backhanded compliment. But i love looking at how it was filmed and i'm giving a rental Going into this. I read sandcastle. 'cause i'd saw the trailer analysis like all right. It's looks goofy. But i want to read the original source material. And i'll say this movie is better than that graphic novel at graphic novels. Awful just the what what. The concept is playing around with the dialogue. All this why. He's attracted this because it had that weird stilted awkward dialogue. it doesn't fit the scene. He improves upon the diabled. Run graphic novel. It's still not good. It's still a work for for the most part 'cause he's still doing the same things. I think that is really played his career since like the mid two thousand his characters don't like humans they don't soundlink people in it's weird that he's made that ship because i remember the six cents and unbreakable kimmy. I felt like emotion for bruce willison haley. Joel osman in that movie. And also for brazil's again and unbreakable. That is this character of dennis dunne. And for whatever reason. I think this year since he's now i just i don't care about doing all that character development. We're just gonna tell him to literally have have them explain their occupation their name and go from there and constantly reminds you. There is some stuff. I i didn't know about the movie. I think gael garcia bernal and vicky creeps. Do a good enough job despite the material. Yes clunky dialogue. That they're given. But i mean there there. The the final scene between them. I thought was very well done. It was beautiful. I thought that was the strongest acted the movie at most the time when when they have like a moment between themselves. It's good outside of that. Not so much allowed the characters are just they just become stereotypes like rufus sewell as an actor. Yes please villains a lot. I mean he just becomes the savage nation along with his wife. And then but they're they're they're props like so many of these other characters and it just frustrating and then we have a. I'll give it this. The unlike the graphic novel just ends with no explanation and shamlan rights and ending for this and is it satisfying. I guess it's up to the viewer itself. I didn't find really satisfying. I thought it was unintentionally goofy. But it's not his worst film. it's not happening. Level disaster lasts air murder disaster but nor is it as good as something like the center or break. Even something which. I'm not even a big fan of like signs or The village it's somewhere kind of like tear in very much in the middle. I'd give a low rental for myself. All right i'm also different means fucking because i knew he commits goddamn.

The metro lennox Tournament championship conference championship. They came into the tournament right. Nine or the ninth. The won four games in a row and we know rick pitino coach. We know he can she off. We know that he can cheat on his wife. We know that you can do all. He needed the monica slick. Rick for because he liked the rapper but Not many can coaches ass off. "Coach. Let me ask you about a topic that we had here. Most of yesterday and running even until today and that was about kentucky this year with john calvin perria an unusual amount of criticism which comes with the territory when you when you lose sixteen games but what. What did you see this year when when you saw kentucky play well you know thing about kentucky. They've got they've got some pretty good talent. But so have the other teams you know. They're not playing a bunch of guys a lot of teams that are chopped liver. They're playing teams that have some good players also and because of the time that the things are today. There's a lot of players a lot of key is that you don't know us. They're pretty good. And if you put him a you're to put them in a kentucky uniform at and make a lot of difference in the world because the tradition win a lot of ball games to We've gaels team you know. He's been very fortunate to be able to track some of the top players in the country. i'm not sure he's got those kind of players on this year's basketball team so let's get to the top of the heap right now in the i mean there's two new coaches nato arkan at alabama and eric muslim at arkansas. Who have really surprise a lot of folks. These were these were schools that were picked to finish. I think in an eighth or ninth and they have exceeded expectations starting with alabama. What what are you. What are you see when you watch our coach team. Very good very well. You know that they play. They played pretty quick. ballgame It speak to exactly what i said. You got two new coaches that are leading Leading and are winning ball games with basically new teams you players we would say that's why said that. The players today in the teams today are so balanced. Is it you know. I wouldn't be surprised if a if a team that Seated number fourteen when the national championship surprised me. Because i it's you you're not you know the the the the regular name teams are not there anymore. You know the the north carolina's ucla's kentucky's mean you used to just turn on turn on your set and that's those are the only team here you would hear about. Now you got gonzaga a a super bowl club. And i think alabama is right up there with that bunch and i'd also arkansas's it is that is ranked up there with that bunch. In terms of the national scene everyone keeps talking about gonzaga as as being the absolute lock. And i know you just what you just said about a fourteen seed. Do you think they are head and shoulders above the field or do you think it can tighten dramatically once tournament. But i love the coach. There at gonzaga i think he is phenomenal. Phenomenal job but it's you know. Every game has his own merits and and to win. Stab believe is six. You've got to win six to win at all Is going to be a challenge. Simply because of the fact that there's going to be a team out there that you have no clue of being close to win. That could upset them who they would might meet. You just never know every ball game so important. You know every single ballgame. It's so important so You know when teams run around and try to get scouting reports at this later date. I think it's all with if you if you if you're not ready to play then if gonzaga's not really ready to play it can be beaten but if they're ready to play their chances of winning all

And if you the front of that story was a little cut off. Oprah bought wanted to give as a gift to Maya, the coat Maya war at Clinton's inauguration. So, like I said the beginning of Allie was a little confusing. So Oprah reached out to Ms Gorman and said, I would like to carry this tradition on May I buy you a coat? You heard Gael say that And it was It was a beautiful coat. Beautiful, beautiful yellow. I never picked a coat and then boom over gave her the the earrings and the ring for Cage that why I know why the caged bird sings. "The gale Homo gay. Oh, it's a compound word of two things. Homo, meaning the same. We use that English word today under Homo sexual homo Leggio. It's not the same sex. It's to say the same Liggio means to say. And so the Bible says, if we say the same if we confess, Homola Gael, say the same And that verb is a subjective herb means maybe you will. And maybe you won't. That's why you have the word if with it, maybe you have enough humility to admit your sin. Or maybe you're so arrogant that you will justify why you're seeing is okay and deceive yourself into believing that That's a good way to get under discipline from God. Because when you fail to rebound God and his loving graciousness will discipline you. Hey, bruise, 12 says those that I love I discipline and I chastise sometimes Sometimes he disciplines us lightly with a message You may hear from a pastor or someone like me. Or sometimes he may actually have to take you out to the wood shed and Benjy over his knee. And there's no pain, no gain. You know a little attitude adjustment, but he will get your attention. And you must make a decision either In humility, you admit your sin and confess it to God are in your arrogance. You bow up and you End up against God and won't admit what you did was wrong. If we confess our sin, the present tense means there's never a time when you're not to confess your sins. You don't wait until you go to bed at night. You don't wait until 10 o'clock at night. Get down on your knees and say, Dear Lord, At seven o'clock this morning, I committed the sin. When you send you immediately on the spot, right then right there tell got exactly what you did. This is why your prayers are not being answered because you're letting send get into your life and you're not dealing with it. You're not admitting it. I know you feel bad about it, and you want to do something about it, And the first thing is to confess it to God. Because when you go to God and confess the sin, then this allows the Holy Spirit to resume command of your soul until.

"Over 24 7 News Center and because so many people voted early results for some races in Washington could be final tonight. Others may take days or even weeks. Secretary of State Kim Wyman says initial results will be posted on county websites. Soon after eight o'clock election officials will be on collecting ballots from drop boxes multiple times today all day today, County election officials across the state will be monitoring those boxes and emptying them regularly. We already have over 70% of our balance back, which is unprecedented. We've never seen this before, so it's exciting. There are also voting centers across the region to help with any ballot issues or to register if you're a first time Votre because, yes, you can still register in person. But eight o'clock is the deadline to either get it postmarked or in a dropbox. Wyman expects turnout to exceed 90%, which would be a new record

Mahmudr in the Geluk and Kagy Traditions

"Maybe we'll start with. Way Your interest in Mahamoud. Way Did that how did that come about? When was that? So since by had? I probably I got interested in Mahamoud per se early in Grad school or perhaps a little bit before that might regional interest in Buddhism back in high school days early in college was mostly in San and I always expected that would be the form of Buddhism than I ended up practicing but the as says avid my then girlfriend now wife and I ended up traveling overland India in one, thousand, nine, hundred, seventy, three into nineteen, seventy four, and then ended up at coupon monastery just outside. Katmandu where we studied where Rama Tipton yesterday in London Lumberton. And those famous co concourses which are still ongoing by merrily introductions allom Rim to the stages of the path of course. Llamas, OBA has a particular particularly in those days maybe a little. So I don't know He had a particular teaching style wary if you're at a month course, you could pretty much be sure that half the time was going to be spent in the lower rounds. So he did delight in. Those and Mama yesterday would, of course come in and remind us that we all had put a nature. So it was kind of A. Tough. Cop Nice cop routine and away. And you know he was he was a it was kind of overwhelming for me despite my interest. But as despite my having majored in religion in college and so forth. But. All the complication you know both the details of rim, how Karma works all the different realms, the scholastic arguments back and forth about beginning less mind an emptiness and so forth all of it was incredibly impressive. They were particularly impressive as practitioners as people who lived out what they had studied on what they were teaching but I I also began in in the few the few hours that were that I had hadn't disposal to to read. I think it was probably some poems by Miller wrap up where Branson book by John Blow Fouls, which just had a little bit of discussion. Mahmoud. and. The way the way I took it brightly. At times this reminds me a lot of ZAP it a bid, it short circuits all the detail, all the ritual, all the scholasticism. All those kinds of things that just tells you to realize the nature of your mind. So it appealed to me. Even that? Sort of a a hidden card. Yuba. Lurking inside this is fledgling gay look back. And I kept that in mind when. Year or so you're a half later I ended up graduate school at the University of Wisconsin, studying under shapes up SOPA. who was the first as far as I know the first Betton tenure at American University, certainly the first Tibetan guess. Who was tenured at American University and again to to study with guesses OPA both in the context of the graduate program that Wisconsin and at the deer park would a center as it's now called. Founded. In the mid seventies was too steep yourself in again are a great deal of the the complexity, the ritual, the richness, certainly of of the gaylord actual tradition and once again. The. Reading Mamo drawn decide what kind of balanced helped balance things out for me. So the number of the papers I wrote at Grad School, you know we're on the Mosit- as of India or or soccer punditocracy critiques of Mahamoud, draw various topics like that. So I, you know even in Grad school I I had this interest You know it sometimes said about Chinese practitioners. They're confusions during the day and Taoists. At Night I. Think a part of me that's was during the day and At night. Of course went when I began to discover that was that there was a whole Gaelic tradition of Mambo. I'd been vaguely aware of because it was a little translation that had come out at the library of Tibetan works in archives and. I read through that and So you know after I got Grad school sort of begun by my teaching career. I. Along with rank, of course, bring my dissertation into book form of pretty much everybody wants to do at some point are almost everybody wants to. Buy began to again sort of on the side begin to begin to investigate Gaylord Mabul dress, and so that's at least in terms of the genesis of this I. Guess That's That's how I would I would explain it. In a this dungeon have any. Teachers. Teaching. Mahmoud to you know you know during we went and saw on trump shays league. Once in Chicago he was notoriously late. He was typically drinking soccer when he was typically brilliant. So you know everything we had heard was true. And I think later in the seventies and into the eighties I began to to go occasionally to cognitive teacher but no, I did not have a regular. Teacher and I. I guess it's fair to say that I really never had a sort of regular teacher although in more recent years I've studied some weakening. European. Fortunately for us has his world had ordered in Minneapolis just. Just a few miles from where we live. So now, my my interest I mean I was interested in cognitive because if you're interested in mom will address even from the Gaylord stand going you clearly have to begin researching. Kogyo because. Even, some texts presents the. Is Fine Llamas. Book with. Alex. burs. The gala argue slash kagyu tradition of Mahamoud address. Implies that it's a kind of a sing credit tradition or a synthetic traditional might be a slightly better word So you and it's very clear that the first Panchen Lama who was one of the tutors of style on one of the truly great figures Gael history. He clearly was familiar with cargill literature and and it would seem with some Kogyo practices so. In my in the process of beginning to research, Ma Gala Mambo. Dry Inevitably had to begin reading at least a lot in In the calculator corresponded with scholars argue. Of various sorts Michael. Roy. David Jackson others. Of course the way these things work you you've you dig into you want your insulin gay look initially you dig into the cog you and then you get into the cockpit realize Oh God. All this comes from India and you've got to go back and look again at Sada. High and the other message you gotta look at the time. TRAS. Very, clearly, the textual a kind of sources for Mahmoud to discourse and behind that. Then of course, always these claims that there's a Sutra Mabul dry and so you begin digging around in sutures that may mention the word or may talk about ideas that are similar and so. I ended up going down this kind of rabbit, hole. That led me deeper and deeper back into Indian tradition and it started out as really odd. I'll do a few little translations and right any production suddenly was this Gargantuan projects that threatened to be about just about everything in. Indian. In Tibetan. Buddhism. Because in a weird way Mamo Dra, it was said, could be found everywhere in India, wants about bottles.

"Please welcome the awesomely talented. Michelle Wilson Michelle. Thanks for coming out today. Thank you so much. Hello so I have a bunch of stuff to ask you and the first thing is like I'm watching you and I turned to. My girlfriend was about to be my fiance and I say to her. I said how am I not watching this actor? In so many more things are casting directors doing their homework and going to theater and doing place because I feel like given your body of work in theatre your abilities. I'm like how. How am I not seeing more of this actor? I mean it's a couple of Jupiter like so. If this was sports people do their homework and draft. Somebody or are they trade for somebody isn't like that innocuous or people doing their homework in talent like yours should be out there for everyone to see. Thank you darling. You know The are I have to admit that I'm a single mother so juggling the single mother actress thing has challenging right and for a very long time raising my daughter who is now in college about to graduate from Smith with a neuroscience degree. Thank you very much. Yeah I know. How do you make a scientist or an accountant? Had them birth by an artist knows that is that Smith College? Michelle yes Smith. North Hampton is thirty minutes away from my house. Isn't that something great great school? Yeah Yeah it was a it was A. She was poppy scholar so she got a scholarship to go. And it's been great and you know the world turned upside down and she's home now so B But Really. She was my focus for a very long time. You know third out in Chicago and was in. La for a hot second with her and her father and returned back to Chicago. So I was a gypsy for a very long time and when I got to New York I came back in about two thousand six. It was on the idea of where would wanna live. I never work again so I got here and I have great friends in right when I got here. Dominique Marie so was an actress in A piece we were doing for the fringe festival and Through that relationship and doing readings and playing with friends Things grew from there but really my career has been about relationships right. So it's a relationship that I had with Rod Gaels Domini Areso and all these incredibly talented filmmakers playwrights. Rights were budding. We were appears and then Dominique had me do a reading when she was an emerging writer over at the public and Heidi and Jordan casting directors over there to to make a big long circle to your questions. They really have been hiding particular. There have been the one that had getting me my career. You know I mean your life in itself. I mean your personal side of it you know you went through a lot but even the acting citing. It's like it's like two different paths but it's the same path because it's like two lives you live your your personal life with your daughter and your family and then the life you have as an actor which is beyond tough. I can't even imagine because I'm looking at some of the things you've been in. I mean that had to be tough to make those adjustments to to deal with what life gives us plus deal with the challenges in theater acting and so forth right. Michelle in any you know I. I think to come the calling. And if you don't have to do it you shouldn't right and for me it's about politics. It's about who gets to tell stories what you get to say. Who can see right so I've always felt like it would be a terrorist and I was up for the fight. This is who I am. This is what I do. You know even if I had to do Straight gigs which I've done for years with Advertising companies in building things out here in New York being a go between between construction companies and people. Who were you know buying huge new spaces? I mean you just do whatever you have to do and it makes you a better artist right. The more well rounded a human being you become a better artist you come so I wouldn't you know I wouldn't trade anything

Ireland election: 26% want 'grand coalition' involving Fine Gael, Fianna Fáil and smaller parties - poll

"We will start in island where political parties are still trying to figure out how all if the results of last weekend's election can be assembled into government. The election was notable for its abrupt. Ending of the century-old duopoly of the fina foil and finagle parties. Now very much in the mix I'll shine fain of unsavory recent history and capitus skeleton closet in the interest of keeping Shin Fain and perhaps certain of their associates out of the republic's government a grand coalition of Phoenix. Oil and Finna. Gale has been suggested the as we go to both fina foil and Finna Gail appear unenthused by this prospect James. First of all in this specific instance we will talk about the wider principle of grand coalition. Shortly but in this specific instance. Would it be right of FINA? File Fina foil rather and Finna Gail to do that because Xinfang got more votes than any of the other parties obviously not enough to command a majority in the oil but they are. As of the other Saturday the most Popular Party in Ireland They therefore entitled to have a shot governing In my understanding I may have misremembered. They got the most votes but not quite the most the most And I would suggest that if you can claim a sort of set to legitimacy you have it but essentially if you can for if you are the largest party. The general principle is you have the first chance to try and form a government Island is much more sort of formalized sort of coalition talks that we would have our electoral system here If she can clearly doesn't have the maths for To get a majority guide a coalition. That would work. There's nothing illegitimate about the other parties. Tried to find that the issue sort of comes around grand coalitions because they're always a profoundly sort of using prospect and they sort of designed to be that sort of hope in a sort of proportional system is that you know parties of the left or of the rights to make politics very warm dimensional which isn't anymore To between them have nothing common that they can actually a fairly big shared agenda done. So you know you get one party of the left. A couple of small satellites it can actually pursue a green agenda liberal agenda. Whatever it wants if you end up in the situation where you have unsavory parties Ashim Fain may still be many voters Republic of Ireland As far right parties awesome might be elsewhere if the only way to prevent yourself teaming up with them is to team up with the mainstream opposition. You end up with the government doesn't really please. Many vitus doesn't agree on very much in won't get very much done and the issue with these grand coalitions. He's always a K. You might be able to hold this together. You might even be able to hold it together for a full term. But you won't get very much done you wait. Make people very happy and so what what's going to happen at the next ballot ballot box to sort of make voters reject that sort of extreme party. That meant you couldn't form the coalition. You want it well. That is one of the arguments I guess against a grand coalition in this instance that it might just annoy enough people to teach in fine up for an actual win at the next election but John Is. There are there circumstances in which it is justified putting together a grand coalition which could very easily be portrayed and indeed may even be an establishment stitch-up. Well yes I mean remember. Australia's run by just such an arrangement for twenty years. Or so the whole thing broke apart In catastrophically as in the last year and it was not the most inspiring a government. As as James said I mean it didn't add to excite people in a lot of people take a certain amount done and Austria continue to function. But that's Australia. I think a lot depends on which country you have got. The coalition of what political culture is a grand coalitions including Shin Fain? Of course bring out a whole host of problems which included in your introduction Which don't apply in other countries grand coalitions for example in Germany That might include the FD in any shape or form. Would I think Two days annoy an awful lot more people and rightly so So I guess the Bland Art is. It all depends. Well James Germany's actually quite a good example of this because the Shin fine and afdc a not comparable in many respects but they are comparable in the days a certain amount of queasiness among mainstream parties Attached to the idea of dealing with them. Is it again right? If a party is popular as Xinfang clearly is now in the Republican violent for other parties to say on point of principle. We are not going to do with them. I think the whole point of a political parties to represent a set of principles and if your principles reject a party with a history of violence or if they reject a quite far right party with some very dark racial overtones. That's well and good. That's what your voters Bhakti today when they voted you in so I think it's entirely legitimate for parties to rule out certain other coalition partners. The issue is that does often leave you with the only option of sort of teaming up with your main opposition party to leave that one out
