"Well. The pandemic i didn't have to go into work via zoom. I can turn off my. I can turn off my camera if i want to on zoom call so the pandemic actually made it a lot easier. I didn't have to leave my house. You know when you think about for in hollywood we might have three or four meetings in a day. Those are like. I have to figure out the directions. I have to navigate the parking garage. I have to figure out if i'm going to interact with people in the elevator. Or what if i get lost. Who am i going to ask for help. All of those things. My brain just spins out and at each stop. It's oh god. I got to start over. What if they asked me this okay. This is probably what i'm going to say like. I literally go through questions that someone might ask. They never asked. And then follow up questions. And so i feel like i'm mike constantly prepared with pat answer. I rehearse ordering a pizza from domino's like what if they asked me something about the grass so for me like i deal with it by being overly prepared going places early not leaving anything to last second and just repeating myself. You're okay. they're probably nervous too. It's okay it's okay. You can be weird today. If that's how you're feeling you can be who you are and it's going to be okay. It's gonna be okay. Hi hi okay. Where are you from o. k. And that's usually how i start every cold call if you will every room because it's like the whole of my career our interactions that are not like my personal choosing like i choose my friends. I choose which family members. I allow into my home into my circle. But when you're out in the world and you have to constantly be meeting different. People are having interactions that you didn't exactly ask for north control. it's a whole nother animal. So i just try to give myself grace and time. So i don't add being late to the anxiety of already nerve racking experiences. And i just you're okay. You're okay you're okay on that note of not making you late last question. Who is someone else we should have on this podcast. Ooh to raji pinson. We've had al-taraggi we loved it. She bath regina king. No but i would love and you make it happen. I can put in a good word. "Gabriel welcome to the show. Thank you for having me. I feel like every time i see you. You are achieving things. It just feels like now is the time of gabrielle union however. I wonder if anyone has us do this. Why does it seem like every single one of your productions or your books has something to do with alcohol. Well you've been to our parties trevor. It's a recurring theme in my life. And certainly when. I'm when i'm writing. I want people to feel like we're chopping it up over glasses of wine and and just talking just having a normal conversation. I'm not using all of my. Sat words in my books. I just want to use regular language talking about some deeper issues more challenging issues that You know and and do it. In a way that more people can relate to it and understand it feels like everything about you. Feels relatable know. I've been following you on your trip to europe. Everything looked amazing met gala. You look stunning thank you. Did you have fun. I did i did. There was a point where i was walking up the stairs. You forget how many stairs. There's a lot of stairs in that dress in those heels. I was walking like ghanem cures fashion. And then there's the precious. It was terrible like trying to walk up those stairs. You know john enormous gown rights and then like the after party. I'm like okay. i did the you know. The more conservative met ball. The after party is four. Almost like it's all about the after parties and it's all about who can get to run as off the party. That's all everybody's trying to guess. Did you go the show. Yes we wanted to stop it. Swiss militias park. It was lovely. They had food. There was adequate seating back support. It was nice. It was for the grownups right. And we like. It's time to go to ron and we link up with queen latifah and it's me and regina king and and our friends were couple caravans of suv's and then the the weight in the in the caravan line to get into janas was so long we missed our window. You can't you. Can't people people waiting that long so we missed our window and we're like hey guys when i wanted to go get some pizza. Let's talk about the book. It feels like you are you. Gabriel union is having a good time and it is punctuated with some tough times in between you got anything. Stronger does just that. I'd love to know like y. You feel the need to share some of the stories that you share. I love them. But it's also really vulnerable to share some of the things that you do in the books because through radical transparency. You breed community. You know what i found during this pandemic is that we're all suffering in our own way but we're suffering in silos because we think were alone. No one else in the world could possibly be feeling what i'm feeling. No one else in the world could understand the pain than i am in. Except that's not true and because it's because we don't talk about it and what people say. Hey how are you you go fine and when you lie and say fine it when the world is burning around you close the door on building community and you breed isolation you know and that's when the the downward spiral spiral starts so with this book and those tougher chapters which some of the most brutal chapters of my life actually. I felt the. I felt a responsibility to share one of the issues that connected with people the most is Is essay that you shared about surrogacy. When i saw your journey online it was oh cabs having a baby. Oh gaps using a surrogate. this is fanta. She's like it's an easy way to do the thing and it's fun. She just chosen something you know and then some people like oh i remember. Some people commented as well they were like. Why don't you have the baby. Yourself is the problem with hollywood people. They've got too much money for their own good putting babies and other people's bodies etc and then i read the story and it is the most painful experience you talk of the journey going through issue if you talk through the journey of your body struggling with each stage of trying to have a child the pain of a miscarriage over and over again and i think the line stuck with me is the one where desus you. Hey you've done enough. I'd love to know what you not learn. But what you what you got from sharing. It's and what you hope women out. There would also understand from the journey. That's often just like you know as classified in many ways. I felt liberated. Like when you when you have complicated feelings complicated messy not sound byte worthy feelings about something as big as entering into motherhood and the journey to motherhood and it's not oh it was great and i'm just glad someone was there to help me bring my angel into the world. I felt like a loser. I felt like a failure. I felt like my body had failed me. I had failed me. And i had failed dwayne and he deserved something other than me And there were just so many complicated feelings and it's also like when you don't physically birth your child and you have those nine months you know to bond with with your baby. It's like me and wehner in the same boat with kav. We both had to work to create a bond because she's she was created outside of both of us and i was so worried that maybe she's not gonna love me as much because i didn't birth her. Maybe she's not going to respect me as much. Because i didn't birther. Maybe he's not ever going to be able to love me fully completely. Because i wasn't able to do this. And i'll never know you know what i mean right and it. Just it's brutal. And it's heartbreaking and it sucks But no one ever tells that story. When i'm reading in people magazine about someone who's had a baby just ational carrier that like we did. It was basically like i couldn't do found a great like an angel on earth and now our angel is on earth and there's nothing there's nothing in between and i felt like okay now again. I'm defective 'cause that my story doesn't match that i i feel so i just feel messy in nikki and and just feel like i'm covered in like loser juice that i can't get out from under so in just writing it. I started to release it. I started to being able to release it once you name. It claim it and let it go. you know. sometimes. I'll break things down that you know or i. Might you know text you be like.

"Those people would have been like i. I will say though she probably that again. I'm sorry i know people say does not yourself all the time and you make black and things just in black households in general you don't make it about black and white. I talk about black household. Your experience is what you should be talking about any black households. There are just certain things that you don't bring outside the household. But i think whenever you see people like dwayne wade and gabrielle union who are open about these things beyond say dropping lemonade and tell everybody what she had to work through with her husband. I truly believe that empowers people to have tough conversations and not to hide things into under all human beings. Everybody goes through things. And if you're going to be celebrity where people look up to you you have to share your truth to. It's a part of your responsibility as being somebody who's a public figure also it makes it a lot harder when you're working in this industry in everyone is trying to find the story in research these things about you and if you're trying to hide it just makes the story a lot worse so you need to get out of it. You need to your truth out there. Wise everyone else is gonna create with. They think the truth narrative under percent as you point out. This has been out for quite some time. I i'm she's really spoken about is the first time she's really spoken about it and honestly she didn't need the money it wasn't about selling book. I honestly believe it's about telling her truth. And empowering other people because if you're gabrielle union and you're producing and you're acting and your husband's.
Gabrielle Union Opens Up About Dwyane Wade Fathering Baby With Another Woman
"Union gets real about why she stayed with dwayne wade after he father a child with another woman before they were married. She says the me up today would not have stayed with him. But would i be who. I am without the pain. I remember a small voice in my heart telling myself to leave but my fear of public humiliation was so great that i didn't take my own advice. Gabriel dwayne seemed to be strong now. But what do you think it took to get to that place. First of all let me just point something out before we even get to that point. If you're a woman and all you've ever wanted your whole life was to have a baby with the man that you loved in your body just not wouldn't let you do it and then that person turned around and gave that gift to someone else that wasn't you. It's an reading. Her first book won't need more wine. You have to. You have to read this book. This part of the book was actually left out this story. This narrative was left out of that book but she talked about her attempts to get pregnant. and how about. So it's just crazy but amazing that she's opening up about this now. I think it's also probably. She feels at peace with it. I think she's done a lot of work. I think she's recognized a lot about the situation and i also feel like the one thing i do want just on one little nugget for dwayne. Say we're not together is they. He wasn't that you know he turned around and gave this gift to somebody else. When they were at an item they had hit a rough patch in their relationship. You're right you're absolutely right. And it was in a very unfortunate thing that happened. I mean a child is always blessing. They're so fun even when you wanna yak on live. Tv they're front. And i think this took a lot of work a lot of work to get to a place where they felt like they could be the couple that they are

"I'm just saying earlier to mary. Catherine where are we at. That's what we say. When we lose it must have been cheating and and and she was you. Were you followed up with. Yeah just means that they're republicans are gonna keep losing when you keep telling everyone. These elections are false. Then they're not going to go out with and the numbers just don't add up and there was a testing ground for this. It was the to blue senators from the state of georgia right. Yeah and if you send out a statement saying that the election doesn't matter people should vote. They might not come out and vote. Yeah because you need to be encouraging them to do so. I would also say for left and right this it's bad for democracy. It's bad for undermining people's views of the elections. If you see an irregularity call the right authority get you know. Get that reported but like your faves are also not immune to this behavior. We would all be better off if presidents didn't pretend that they won if a failed governor. Candidates georgia didn't not concede And if the press didn't pretend that russians elected trump when he didn't he was duly elected president united states. This is the future for. The republican party does win we and they know it well. They could win. If they didn't keep discouraging people from this well they call with eating and and they could win if they had actual platforms have not instead of you know wear out of places get regardless instead of scaring people and actually making it more difficult for voters of color to vote all over the country that for real issue here and i wanna know with this with this recall. What happened to caitlyn jenner. Stiller she's still very forty seven people i think. Do you have time to explain how this works because it's an outrage. That is no. Tom should recall..
Gwyneth Paltrow and Gabrielle Union Get Candid About Wealth And Marriage
"Would you still work if you married someone. Who was filthy rich Gabrielle union and gwyneth. Paltrow ignited the debate on the google. Podcasts gabrielle admitted that when she married dwayne wade her step kids didn't understand why she kept working. Listen to this. They had looked up how much their dad made and they thought that i should not work. I should just be at home like the other moms. And because data's rich and you stay home and we should be a normal family like everyone else. I love it. I love that bathing realized that she too was rich. Not not to mention. She had her own coin. Kim mary filthy rich man. What you're gonna do stay home and take care of you. You know a certain ages. When i was younger. I wanted to just work and get my own identity. I think right now. Let a rich man calls daily dose. Oh it's so funny. She didn't talk about this all the time. Because i have said many times i'm like i can live that yacht life man. I could plan the trips yet. Plan the vacations. I could have all the decorations up for every event at could be my full time thing. I could do all that stuff. But he's like no you couldn't you'd have to work. I know you would go crazy. But i could do.
Brooks Laich Cries 'All The Time' Amid Julianne Hough Divorce
"Life's Lish whatever his name is married to Julianna. Yeah, that I think of her. Oh, he's the A strange husband who's no, definitely. They're getting divorced. They tried to get back together. He was on How men think radio show. Isn't it a lot of talk radio like, okay. He he he said Ah, he said, I growl the time and it's wonderful. And it's something I've really learned since the passing of my two ducks. Oh, that's just such a good dig. It's something not has nothing to do with my wife saying, Come here. Go away. Come here go away. It has to do with the passing of my two dogs. That's that's beautiful. That's he has messed with his heart. Well, you know what I think? You know, she really got screwed. She was another room woman who got screwed by Simon Cowl on America's Got talent. She wass impaired after year after year and Gabrielle Union got so you know, she sued NBC made a settlement, but she just got fired youto one your contract and the thing that she did. That Simon didn't like is she didn't adore him. And she also declined his offer of having an entanglement. You think that's it? I don't know that. That's a blind item that Holly could confirm that. I think that that is a confirmed blind item that that is a pretty much acknowledged. I didn't overtly asked her, but it is known on The set that he needs to have atleast one woman finding over him. And if she won't find over him, then he wants to have maybe a little rendezvous. And he wants to smoke her cigarettes. And yeah, he really is a dink. "A whole thing. I will follow someone on the freeway with the Nebraska plate just pull alongside then to go go ahead. Excited no matter. No matter what. Cracking? Speaking of you and delayed I, feel I eat y'all have had in the midst of twenty twenty being a mess y'all that lease had a great year for you know just like being visible and being great examples of one parents and to just like black people who are. Famous but not going crazy Lately At least not being like Richard, we want to support trump. So you know not going that route, I just WANNA know. How it is to stay like grounded and also to just like. Put yourself out there On the cover of time to you know put yourself out there as like parents who are now being seen as just like an example of how to parent you know With your you know embracing. Zaia. And then just having that embracement of the Lgbtq community for you too as parents. It's always bizarre to be acknowledged for doing like the bare minimum, which is like loving your kids exactly as they are. So that's that's always A. Odd. But when you realize that there's a lot of parents who don't. Believe that their children are disposable or inherently unlovable. We understand the the role that we have and the platform that we have and loving out loud in unapologetically black in loving out loud in. I'm speaking up about. All kinds of things I would hope that I'm not alone in this. A lot of people do it I just don't think touch take as much glee to battle the fuck that we do. So maybe makes us. I just. It gives me fit like the hives I can't. I can't sit in the fuck Shit I can't do it not anymore because I did it. I'm not going to say I didn't really I I. Sat in its I like dipped my crackers I ate it up but then you get to a point where I don't know going along to get along doesn't work and doesn't feature soul and it doesn't allow you to sleep at night and I don't know I just don't want any I. Don't have to deal with anything that affects my joy peace my grace mime or anybody else's. So I'm key talk my shit. If it especially when the greater good and pay like it's okay to like pay your fucking taxes when you're a bazillionaire. Press why are you pressed about money that actually helps the people that you're trying to exploit I i. don't I don't exactly understand that to me win somebody's shows you who they are and their disdain for black women. That's when I jumped on the fan domes when you reject or malign black women which a lot of these dudes have that are suddenly pro-trump. You lost me law a long time ago. This isn't this wasn't the straw that broke the camel's back. When you attack the very black women that leads your cast on your very successful show. The I don't know what else we needed to see How many more opportunities we needed to give before we got to this shock and awe that we have right now. I don't even know why it takes. So long for people to understand the the damage harm caused when we start with black women. As your target in why don't we? Why do we have to kick giving people opportunities to harm black women before like why you bet you know you? Just don't care about. How about you don't care about black women and stop be acting. So shocked by more bad behavior. Yeah. I'm calling other than as being two black women from Nebraska that that is already been such a connecting point for when I've been following your career since I don't know birth like for a long time and oddly these things happen where I was experiencing something in my life and it would match up with the Gabrielle Union story in the news like what was happening with your work experience at America's got talent reminded me that there were no safeguards for black women regardless of what level of career that you were at and and. I was experiencing something much smaller scale, but in my own work environment at the same time. So as a black woman, like what do you do to protect your energy when you learn those hard truths that like nowhere is safe from me and the crew we've had to find our own safe-space and we before we were calling it safe spaces. It was finding people in the community sometimes where you least expect it a doing your own due diligence about who somebody is not going with what the popular pinning somebody is in finding those safe spaces in creating them yourself in. It might only be five minutes a day on a group chat. Especially now Kobe, we used to have like meet us where we just we call them long drunken munches that sometimes turned into you even longer drunken dinners We just had a chance to just. Vomit. Our emotions and all the things that we experienced during week we weren't safe enough to talk about openly because you just those bills needed to be paid. The bank is so weird about wanting their money every month got. That that. Same space that strong cocktail to. Vent with other people who see you in here you are going to try to explain away your trauma in harm that you've been experiencing for the most part safe spaces amongst. Within our community in an randomly Obama's ally. I feel like I have a photographic memory for celebrities who give great interviews and so you always come to mind like if it's a video sam or I'm reading, something can always depend on it one usually being funny to like just. Just super thoughtful and I was thinking a few years ago you wrote a memoir and you're the. Type of celebrity. I. Always want to write a memoir on. Mike. We only got to hear her speak for five minutes in this interview. Please go off for three hundred pages. What was that experience like for you? Did you gain anything from having written a memoir the process of writing it was exhilarating and Thorough, cutic-, and but the process of handing over some of your deepest darkest secrets to the world. Is Literally. It really does feel like tossing your baby into a crowd and hoping people catch it. And don't abuse your baby. Yeah. For the most part people were like Oh. My God look at this baby, this is such a asleep maybe and then some people drop kick my baby and. You know. It's you want people to have a positive takeaway from your words. You know what I mean. I'm a lover of words I love Word Games, I love books. Special in that way. You want people to appreciate your words but at the same time. I know it's a it's a trust thing with with your readers that you hope they see you get you. Maybe understand you and hopefully also provide some community 'cause I try to discuss things that have been taboo or you know those high couldn't possibly and a Mike Yeah I didn't know my for my aretha like. No I didn't think to go beyond Michael Jordan what. Seemed, like all was there but like in writing. I. Read it, and then doing interviews about it people were like, okay I thought it was just me not knowing where to put him on like it sparked like larger conversations about sex. And fertility journeys in dating and marriage and all sorts of things. So now that I'm writing the follow up in my first draft is due in about a month and a half it's the panic of the purge I've purged even more shed including chapters that I wasn't quite ready to include in the first book. I thought, I've had enough therapy and guided meditations to deal. With Getting to the world. I know. We'll see we'll see in the final by next fall when you see the finish finish work what I was strong enough to include because there's nothing I hate more than reading somebody's biography or something super personal, and then watching their interviews and they're like, well, I don't read the book. I read the fucking book, and now I want an on it's. Enough or not to talk about. You know somebody's larger issues that you bring up like what was the point? So I want to do more than just titillate with with my words.

"But you would think like basic humanity this child has has felt it does also bullied. Kids the kids were bullying him, telling him to kill himself and he like on. Day four filled himself and he was nine. and. Just watching people do the mental gymnastics instead of. Offering prayers for the boy and his family or whatever it was. Why are you forcing the gay lifestyle on this and it was like the gay lifestyle where's the gay lifestyle because I think I'd like to sign up for it. I mean, the life is like what the fuck is that this is a child who was bullied in how `bout we check what the fuck is happening in the in the homes of the bullies what kind of phobic transphobic Islamophobic Racist misogynistic bullshit is happening in those homes. Let's let's start there and and how you unleash these little Helen's on their classmates to say crazy shit to. Not You. Know mean you have to well I mean kids we would people I mean no matter who you are whether you're gay straight trans whatever there's always gonna be somebody they just don't fuck what you saw the thing because I have to some boys seventeen thirteen and my fingers just like you have to arm them. My thing is I think my message does elements like listen ninety percent of people shit ninety, five, ninety, nine people are just all tell. So if you can make yourself and build yourself up mentally to wear your immune to words, you're fucking bulletproof cause. You Ain't got a day not to do shit talking because they ain't GonNa do nothing. So you know what I'm saying if you people say and they say they want to say like. Talking because that's all they can do. So I think it starts I've just always been a person of I just try to think in context of I can't control other people do whatever full as they got they they got like. Me You know what I'm saying is to build myself and teach mind to be like listen. Is All it takes all kinds of world everybody. Is going to be some people that don't WanNa fuck with you for whatever reason it's my job to give you the tools to where you don't even look for that person for validation you. You are whatever you feel like you are gay strict whatever the hell be confident and be in on who you are. You know what I'm saying because if you own who you are then this other shit, he's that's just some punks. You Ain't gotta worry about that because you google who you are and if you go with it and that's a matter. What's that man? Finally his. THIRTY MINUTES LATE.

"Cut me. And I said He. had been drinking a little. And I said negative you cut me. I love? And he pushed the. Chair out from the table is a go. How old were you? This I. Definitely grown. And he took me aside he said I don't know who the fuck you think you like he he he's. Old Nigga, cuss out. Like you would see what he hits you. Dude I was like. Yeah. No, it's nice. So cut to Thanksgiving it was the first time the were playing. We were partners we were playing against my my dad and one of my one of my friends and my little sister fucking single ladies comes on and my little sister had tied some lemon cellos. Your do not recommend Lemon Cellos at the holidays Danny de Vito did thank you I. I was use reference. No one ever knows what the fuck I'm talking about. Danny Devito went on the view after drinking a lot of shallow. George Clooney wasn't it didn't four and he was still drunk the next day on the view. It's genius. It's Youtube. So my little sister is hammered off Elim cello and she starts doing the single ladies dance but you know the part where you go down. On a very low cut top, and my sister is very, very, very, well endowed and it was just hit as. An everyone like guys kind of started crowding around and my dad was like he kinda was looking Emini hands. My husband has cards and he was like. I'll, be back. And that was a rap on fucking thanksgiving. Aw. He took her out. All I heard was. Obviously not true. Obviously not. I would think that you are I mean we often talked about. You know game night eventually but then I realized that I feel like you're very alpha. Yes. Game Night Persons and our friendship might be on the line. fucked up. Yeah, we do. I fired from game I've fired employees I've broken up with women. I was interested in. I didn't know what I want. Gaby, game now, okay, you invited. The timing hasn't. Worked out yeah. I told you about. Yes we have. Taboo. League. For. Years. League. Play and was guys against girls and it was a delay hill he'll. Sean Patrick. Thomas. Off. So did a lot of. and. I did the. Same I. Love You connected I. Feel like you're the epicenter of literally I'M A Bridge for a lot of your. A lot of random asking. Nutri. I'm changing. My new idea. Is, we have guys against girls and we we the guys have recruited hill because he's a double ivy and Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah. So we recruited love Robin leave because she too is it was very nice of you by the way. we've recruited Robin League because she was a double ivy and we needed people who could average eight or nine in taboo. An taboo ground that's how fucking series where I. Think most people get We don't fuck. We don't play. So what we started doing having taboo time. So it started with long drunken lunches that would turn into dinners. We could spend time together. So we would have more references for the game. Robin we didn't even know her we just recruited her because we thought she was smart and during these long drunken lunches to get to know each other better. So like a perfect example Robin would be giving me the clue and she'd be like blanking the bunny man I go. So that's how good we got and. We took macron's ban. Let go and. Thank you bill. Slow. I saw the look on his face. Cost got mad at me the man's quest blamed it to. You didn't feel when did you know that your first one was Oh, I'm sorry. Audition in Wilmington. So I had auditioned I was coming back and I had this little ring which turns out I had to pay for later Oh God, he was being payments on. Why shoutout to reads jewelry. Yeah had to pay that off in the divorce. Yeah. So I came back and I was using his his home computer over and Do you remember Im's yes and all his boy IM's him. He said he you still got that about a Greek girl coming in this weekend, and this is like Thursday schedule the next day. And I was I. was taken for. So I like what would say back? Talk Back. What's your name again? gave. Up. So he he alerted him. So by the time he got home from practice I had pat on my shit was all going to be very dramatic and I should have known he he he literally had proposed. You know in a in a bucket of like he had put my ring in. A fucking. I mean. The, Bojenka Kentucky Fried Chicken and potato wedges, and he had the nerve to like you know have the the apartment lined in rose pedals and then to the bedroom and he was on on bended knee with a with a with a box of KFC chicken wedges chicken, and he had a wedge in his hand and he was like was. He too so. It was it was significant at the time now. I. Don't remember I'm sure with number. Reference. was. The colonel. Like the. Old Guy. He's a lot darker. Used to cut the bottoms off his jeans these are subtle wall I should have. You know like adhere to the bottom lake because he didn't want anyone and he would just cut him off and then like he'd washed them. So they would be afraid like Jim from. Huck. Finn. Talk for well, it's cool now pre. Yeah them. Ninety. Nine Point. Nine. Bad Tattoos like bad dumb tattoos like he had this one like a bulldog that said slow Yoro. Guess how role was spell now? Gabby. Word is supposed to be role are. I take it it didn't spill. Whole W. Slow Rar E.. Our silo row rows route so Slow? Okay. Did you try to gently let him know that it might be misspelled or? Do that. Gabrielle Union Files Discrimination Complaint Against Simon Cowell and 'AGT'
"Gabrielle union I there's some news about Gabrielle union yeah in fact she filed a complaint Thursday so Gabrielle union you'll remember let's back up a little bit we'll just say that the headline is that she has filed a discrimination complaint against America's got talent's producers along with NBC universal will we'll talk about the details in just a moment but I do think it's helpful to back up and remind people that this is not the first time they've heard of Gabrielle union's harassment complaints against NBC universal and America's got talent so let me just give you a little background on that we talked about that I actually can't remember the specific when new time this very fleeting at this moment do you are you tight when we initially yeah I talked about and that was like a month ago maybe actually you know what I have to be to win new terror it was November of last year okay we learned that Gabrielle union had a complaint a number of complaints to lodge against America's got talent but specifically Simon how you remember that's when we learned about for example the story about Jay Leno making a racist joke during a commercial break that they were filming so all that was you know just under a year ago but then and we knew stuff was going on behind the scenes because NBC universal had talked about how they were addressing the issue but we really didn't hear anything else well apparently being made the negotiations which they were in the midst of conducting were not enough order Gabrielle union didn't feel that those negotiations were leading to the results she was hoping for which it seems that is the reason that she went ahead and filed this complaint and I should say that this complaint is actually very likely a precursor to an actual lawsuit so that's that's that's what I know about blackouts I'm old I am I never happened just works okay so sorry technical difficulties over okay so this is the will so we're now in the precursor to a lawsuit that will be ruled out by Gabrielle union for these discrimination allegations likely I read the story in variety which talks about how this is all laid out and what the complaint actually is who it's to and I can tell you that the complaint itself was filed with California's department of fair employment and housing and it name specifically three outfits FremantleMedia Simon cowl's production company Syco or Sicko I don't know he said it's probably not psycho and then NBC universal and again those D. F. E. H. complaints are usually precursors to a lawsuit and Holly brought this up during the dirt alert so the NBC entertainment chairman Paul to like be he has also been accused in this recent complaint of threatening Gabrielle union through her representative for speaking out against the racism on the set that she felt she witnessed okay so this is like an onion right like the layers of an onion yeah there sure initial allegations that she shared publicly and you said it was in November past that well that's when the story broke we should say about her because you'll remember she and Julianne Hough four let go and I think it was shortly there after that we started learning that not all was well right so so there's that like sort of pod right so like you know she talked about things not being so great on set in November and then just in the complaint of that or the public awareness of that then she starts to experience harassment as a result of speaking out yes so when she you know made those those complaints public apparently she claims that she faced pushback and directly threats from the head of NBC's entertainment okay S. and you know none of the people that were names I believe are speaking with the exception of a spokesperson for NBC universal and here's what they said very categorically quotes the allegation that anyone involved in this process threaten his union is categorically untrue we took ms unions concerts CERN seriously and engaged an outside investigator who found an over arching culture of diversity on the show NBC universal remains committed to creating an inclusive and supportive working environment where people of all backgrounds are treated with respect it sounds like a very boiler plate you have to lease you know cover all your bases response it does not address the specific our issues brought up in her complaint and her people are taking you know everyone to task as a result I I'm not going to read the full response from her she I found this interesting this little side note but she's got this person speaking on her behalf and it says that he has power of attorney his name is Brian Friedman I'm not I'm not sure if that's just her legal representative but I'm I'm wondering if it's because of like coal bed that she he has to act as her power of attorney because maybe she's not able to be wherever interesting racing or maybe that's just totally standard but like when our attorney Mike white is Gabby union union you need our
Union files complaint against NBC, 'America's Got Talent'
"An actress fired from America's got talent is continuing her fight over her ouster Gabrielle union has filed a complaint with the state of California claiming she was harassed and discriminated against because of her race while working on the NBC show the complaint also says when union complained to higher ups about what she felt was a racially biased atmosphere she was let go after just one season on America's got talent the actress who is black says producers would complain about the way she styled her hair saying it was too wild and needed to be toned down to appeal to the show's audience for discrimination complaint to California comes a week after a report issued by an independent panel hired by the network and the show's producers it said there was no evidence to support unions claims I'm Oscar wells Gabriel
NBC, producers say 'America's Got Talent' cleared by probe
"An outside investigation has cleared a popular TV show of charges that it tolerated racism when actress Gabrielle union was fired after just her first season on America's got talent she said she was let go because she complained about racism among members of the production staff for example she said racist jokes and remarks were tolerated and that she was told by producers that she wore her hair to black with the target audience of that show now in the sea and the show's producers are saying that an outside review one they asked for has cleared him of any wrongdoing in that regard they say the report said unions claims had no bearing on the decision to cut her loose there's been no immediate response to requests for comment from unions representatives I'm Oscar wells Gabriel

Oprah and Amy Schumer: Your Life in Focus
"So amy. Amy had what sounds sounds like a really tough week. which makes it all the more special that you would give up your Saturday as everyone else has given up there Saturday to make the trip to come to Charlotte doesn't Wanna I spend their Saturday with Oprah? Charlotte really wasn't a grueling week. What's going on this week was really tough but I do feel better hit? IVF this week. I don't know what that stands for but but I know I had it and then I and then I had my egg retrieval on Monday which is also the the last time I pooped. I said I wasn't going to say it but I did. You can't do after but and I've been feeling rough all week but but I feel better today and knowing I was coming to see you at you've been sharing you. This journey on social media. Yes I have been posting staples. Yeah I just thought I'll share it. Yeah because one time we posted refilling rundown pretty emotional because your hormones are all over the place that's right yet. They're still all over the place so like watch out. I mean it was really you get shot with a ton of hormones. I still have my bruises where you get the shots I mean. It's I don't want to discourage anyone but it hurts. Those shots hurt. And then you get the egg retrieval after you you know you're over his filling up with fluid. IVF guys and during this time. I saw you you posted where you were asking other people. Just send me any advice you have about it. Did you give me half ice. Well you know. It's not something that there have been some people who've been really open about it. I Know Gabrielle. Union had had people who've shared their journeys with it but I didn't really have like a big group to ask about it so I was like. Yeah I don't ask everybody get all the tips just like you guys have connect right for for ww. I used my instagram and and asked what should I know what you wish you knew and men like women were just really down to reach out and share and help me and like hold my hand through it. I love that you came in your sweats. So amy sit in the attacks earlier and said this is okay to where I go. You should wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Yeah and you're having a stylus come over. They were GonNa do the whole thing. I got address. You got address hanging up in my closet. I said just I said it Charlotte. They're going to love you. That's just the way I do love. Charlotte I've performed here live really. Yeah mostly for the Hornets but also I performed standup watch. This and I just ate some biscuits backstage. That will change your life. Yeah the food here. It's not you don't do the point thing or anything. No I use all my points on these biscuits I was gonna say because a biscuit could take you down. Yeah now you said that this whole process is taught you to actually be more patient and kind with yourself golf. What does that look like for you? Patience and kindness showing up for yourself. I think as as women I know they're men here too and I don't want to alienate you but I think as women the AH. The expectations on us are so high to always be okay. Always look your best. Feel your but you know and and so what am I talking about. You're talking about this process of being kind to yourself kinder to myself okay. Do you know when you're talking walking. And then you look out and you're like they're truly fifteen thousand people here and Oprah. I'm like my hi. I'm not high. Yeah but I'm like I think I'm hi. It's really easy to be to feel guilty all the time especially actually now having a baby like just that self gill the self hate and it can get to meet you and and what do you say to your friends like. Give yourself the advice you give your friends love yourself like your your own mother. You know like be kind to yourself signed us you know so. It's those feelings of guilt. They're are useless and they're not real and do you have now as a new mother like are you doing it right. Do you have those am I doing it right. Yeah it's an I'm working and like I know there's just working mom vibes out in this audience. It's it's a constant. There's a constant like just cycle of of guilt and shame about it. You're like should I be he with my baby all the time like somebody else is taking care of my child right now but really what I've learned for myself as like the best thing you can do it to take care of yourself so that when you show up for your kids you are yourself. It's no question but I do. Love Love the fact that you said. Look I'M GONNA I'm GonNa do this for you and then I'm going to go right out. I'm not even GonNa say goodbye to you backstage. You believe it. I'm not GONNA say goodbye. Fight you know so. Let's just now by. It was so good seeing you. You look amazing. So thank you for plumbing Yale. Thank you your hope now. I'm on the floor Yeah it was. I had hyper amasis which I also have endometriosis. And there's not a lot of research on these these women's issues because that's what they are there. I mean they now have chewable Viagra but they can't throw us a bone with endometriosis. Give some money to the studies for ladies also please but yeah I was so sick I was. I couldn't keep anything down. I was hospitalized four times four times like you know. Were you really afraid though during that time. Because you're thinking I'd you know I could lose this baby one in three women hypothesis lose the baby. Oh and something like fifty percent lose their jobs. You can't work it's if you've you've ever had food poisoning it's that I had that for nine and a half months because you know you're not pregnant for nine months. That is a lie. I don't know why they say nine months nine months. Then when you start doing the math and you know it's ten months at least right. I mean it really is and I heard that one of your takeaways from all of this was that women are just the warriors we are warriors. All of us. I mean for real. That is what I learned. I didn't just learn how strong I was. I really learned as a whole how strong women are and you know men are great to like. That's awesome and you guys can throw a touchdown but like can you make baby. You can make a baby with our body. Yeah yeah it's growing now. Football's grape like make a baby. It's pretty amazing when you think about it. It's amazing. Everybody remain a baby. Give yourself a high five. We'll look at y'all

'America's Got Talent' Has Problems
"Has another Pr Mess at minimum and possibly Sibley more than a PR mess on its hands. This is not NBC News. We've talked about that a lot you know. Obviously there's Ronan Farrow's book. Why didn't they report the Harvey Weinstein Story What happened with Matt Lauer. Did they cover up for him. That has been a whole mess in and of itself But this is now NBC. The broadcast network. America's got talent. They did not pick up Gabrielle Union. For a second season she was there for only one season She was a judge and that has led to reporting following a a tweet by her or a number of tweets by her husband. dwayne Wade reporting the about a culture that in allegedly was insensitive at minimum minorities Racist if you WANNA take it. That far that she had been told repeatedly for example that some of her hairstyles were two black black. Allegedly that She had reported an offensive joke by a guest. Jay Leno to human resources but the higher ups would not We're actually formerly report it. There was an allegation published in one report that there was a ten year old black rapper that she thought had talent and she was advised not to support this child but to support white dancers because supposedly what was said was we need me. Need people that America ARACA can get behind. which would lead to a question about their definition of America but this has now turned into a flap? NBC is responding. Yeah I mean they have had to respond and they had Gabrielle Union in her representatives into a what was described as a five hour meeting with investigators to discuss this SAG Astra has said they are going to look into this. Because she's a member of that organization and you know they've got a real problem because any of these things are true and she was dismissed Complaining about it that's retaliatory. Normally in that situation you know a check is written and A settlement is made in this case. I would suspect that she would want more than money that she would want. Meaningful steps taken. Now this doesn't just involve a NBC. It involves fremantle the company that produces the show and psycho which is Simon Simon Cowles company and she among her allegations are that Simon callow made this environment. Literally unpleasant with cigarette smoke constantly smoking with nope doors on the dressing dressing rooms so you could not escape the smoke and I have to say you know you say well you know deal with it but the fact is for me. That kind of smokey environment environment literally makes me queasy and would be a problem and it's obviously unhealthy and it's obviously against the rules. But this is what happens when you have someone like Simon Cowl. Who is you know has got this huge amount of power. Yeah He created the show and he stars on it. I mean this is a textbook example if these allegations are true of the kind of coddling of talent that networks are notorious for and allowing people to get away with certain behaviors that the average person doesn't get away with and you know we think that in this time's up in metoo era that a lot of this behavior is being clamped down on but if this is true and cows being allowed to just be a colossal jerk worked to everybody then that's not okay. I'm going to quote the former. America's got talent judge Howard. Stern who said CAL sets it up so that men stay no matter how ugly they are no matter how old no matter how fat. I'm paraphrasing slightly. No matter how talentless then he says why don't they change Simon. This is the ultimate example of boy's club and I would just note math that. NBC Says It's going to investigate but in the news division. They investigated themselves and that has been a huge issue going that nobody has forgotten about I.. I think who's paying any attention and so it's going to be more of that. I don't think this problem is going to be resolved. Yeah it's the same question of whether they get an outside investigator or whether they do it internally it says we're on the same merry go round round and round. Thank you thank you. That's Matt Bellamy editorial director of the Hollywood reporter. He joins me this Monday at one. Thirty on the business. I'm Kim Masters and this is the Hollywood
America’s Got Talent: Gabrielle Union’s NBC Meeting Reportedly Put All Eyes on Simon Cowell
"NBC NBC has now launched a formal investigation into what happened behind the scenes. On America's got talent that's on Judge Gabrielle Union. After a one season run on the top rated competition show following reports of a toxic culture. Union had what she described as a lengthy five hour. Is there any other kind and and productive meeting on Tuesday during which she expressed her hope for real change at the network union and fellow freshman. Judge Julian huff dismissed November. Culture prepares to go under the microscope. In the meantime union has received support from former. Gt judges including Sharon Osborne and Howard Stern with the the ladder calling the Simon callow produce talent show a quote unquote boys club and if anyone would know to recognize a so called boys club it would be Howard stern yeah. Stern spent four seasons as a judge on talent. And here's a quote. He says quote he sets it up that the men stay no matter how ugly they are no matter how old they are no matter or how fat they are no matter how talentless they are and that's of course Howard Stern talking about Simon Cowles selection of the judge's panel he went on to say quote he replaces the hot chicks with hotter chicks and younger. Chicks Howie Mandel is doing a fine serviceable job. Why don't they change him? And why don't they change Simon. This is the ultimate example of a boys club. Time's up and other. Prominent actresses and show runners have voiced their support for

T. all my god what does that even mean walk back held is that mean oh my gosh ignorant in some I wonder where this is coming from it sounds like the same ignorant people yeah well just terrible that it's just crazy what went what year was this this happened this year this year all I thought it was maybe like three years ago or so I never watch a GT so I I had no idea that they remain on the show but yeah I know this past season what how do you all my gosh I mean it's from a racist joke you're saying at the beginning I mean that's what I'm assuming with with the jail and that was nine oh yeah and then you've got to racist comments about Gabrielle union's hair NIT picky change your hair it's to blackmail my gosh the NIT picking what Julianne Hough is wearing and all of her pre just focusing on their appearance basically because you know women are just there to look at that we want to hear what they have to say man that is and I'll say this well what about what our users yesterday just in terms of the rotating host find rotate the host and the judges keep it fresh I get its television you gotta keep crap fresh we change segments on our show all the time however I find it a little bizarre that yet keep the same old man on there what's your rotate the women yeah said that many times how we Mandel's been on basically every incarnation of this why don't you rotate him out Simon call's been on there for a couple years now get his **** out of there home I guess I mean not that it wouldn't matter but I just like to gold them sitting at the judging desk you know Gabrielle union and Julianne Hough they both look beautiful yeah but even if they were wearing suits I mean it's not like they're wearing sweat pants or something I mean come on they're going to always look professional and nice look I know but I'm not gonna be have a great everyone knows if he was in the show I am no Julianne Hough ban on I don't get it but she's an amazing dancer amazing dancer I'm not I you're not gonna take that former I'm just not a big fan however that's really crappy if you're if you're giving constant notes to Julianne well hi I hope you're given how we some notes about the suits the sizing of the cotton the tailoring of his suits public Simon call we're in the same damn tee shirts since two thousand four right plus Julian half as a reason to be there she is a legitimate expert in the field yeah you know well and again the whole if again the lads alleged just covering the our support acting ourselves a lead this is in the lead story from variety if this is true the whole Gabrielle union story of someone telling her that some high up is freaked out by our hairstyles because they think quote it's too black for the audience for Eiji T. that same sounds like the same executives who freaked out when former host Nick cannon was wearing a turban don't do that my gosh wrong that you're going to scare the white people in the thing lines if you live in the audience more credit no kidding give the people watching some with some some some credit who cares but again this you know it really bothers me whenever you know people label Midwest people are middle America people like we are as you know that we can only handle certain things in that were concert and we don't understand jokes that are about other you know it's like no maybe you're just not funny Nick cannon's wearing a terabyte no no well if it is not like the same exact one of in the same executives that allegedly protected Matt Lauer you know that well you know you never know it sounds like the same well culture
Jonathan Van Ness's 'Gay Of Thrones' Web Show Is Back
"Welcome back to the frame. I'm John horn. You've certainly heard of game of thrones the HBO series that is now in its eighth and final season. But what about gay of thrones gave thrones as a funny or die web series? That's been recapping game of thrones episodes ever since season three. The show is hosted by Jonathan van Ness. You might know him as the hairstylist and grooming expert on the Netflix show queer eye each week, a different guests like Gabrielle union or on a affairs sits down and Jonathan stylus chair for a pretend haircut and the to get talking about that weekend's episode of game of thrones with countless jokes and pop culture. References. Here's a clip from today's episode with actor and comedian Camille Johnny about a pivotal game of thrones scene between sir c and Tyrian. Lancaster? I bet you but evil no volume Carol Brady goes no dice. She's like, don't you tear us maternal instinct's against me. I am just as indicative and unreasonable as Amen that was recorded just yesterday, the funny or die studios in Hollywood where I visited a chat with Jonathan van Ness and Aaron Gibson the series creator and director, she's like don't you dare us. My maternal instinct's against me, I has been dictated and unreasonable as any man. She's like, don't you tear us nine maternal instinct's against me. I am just as reasonable. And I am just as and unreasonable as any man. When I sat down with Erin Gibson, and Jonathan van Ness after the shoot I ask van as how making time for gay of thrones works logistically with all his commitments for queer eye season. Seven shows the last season, I was in Atlanta shooting queer eye. So I would shoot queer eye Tuesday through Friday and get on a plane, and then come here do gave thrones get back on the plane, go back to Atlanta. And now this time I have said spoke to New York, and so Sunday mornings, I get up and I pop on a plane, and I get here, and then I come to show with everyone. And then I go home, and well, then I pitch all my jokes before everyone else gets pitch their jokes, which is really nice to me. So everyone's could stay up till midnight. And I tap out at night. And I'm like, oh my God. I'm so tired, which is the joke. But really I am. It's a lot like. We need you to be amazing on camera dies need to go to bed. What is it? Like when you guys are watching it is it like being Theodore everybody's talking about to the screen like, there's just constant banter. You making knows what does it sound like this new method where we're doing like one of our people will yell out the number. So it's like a scene one seemed to because we're all kind of writing while we're watching it. So there is some healing of the screen usually from me, but we turn the lights off we have snacks. And we right. We really are. There's a lot of typing are other tradition is that we always have ten degrees. We've had ten degrees every single year and shocked. Not sick of it. There are so many recaps of game of thrones. And what's amazing to me is how quick and how thorough they are? And when you're thinking about how you were going to both recap and episode and then do something. That's funny. How do you figure out? What is I? Because is it important that you get the story. Right. I and then at the jokes are what order they come in. I think it's always about serving the purpose of how Jonathan has regurgitated this show. So in my mind is always funny. I, but I do want this to be a cheat sheet for people who maybe don't watch game of thrones. And maybe one not feel like they're an outcast in society at work. So they do know what's going on. But first and foremost, it's about making this show funny, and allowing Jonathan to shine his very specific and hilarious light on a show. That is the most McCall thing on TV. The other thing that you guys seem to be really intentional about is making sure that you have the most latest pop culture references possible. So. So you just did an episode where you have a mayor Pete reference. There's a reference to the Boeing seven thirty seven max is that always like what happened that day that we can incorporate how do you think about what is and is not funny or worth including well, I have to say, you know, in in the episode from last week. It was all about Martina Hingis. This battle had more downs than Martinez. Hang stories his career. So I things are going great. She wins drilling open in ninety seven. Well, then she screws up at the French Open by serving underhanded, stuffy graph and gets booed off the court. But then she goes on to the lay at Wimbledon. Unfortunately, then she just positive for snow, which she denies. Let's what they love about. Our writing room is like it's really we are going to we're going to get an each we're going to go big. We're going to go niche gonna go. Now, we're gonna go eighty six we're going to go ninety four you don't know. Also, we might have a revolutionary war thing. Like, you just don't know what you're going to get last night we joke because we couldn't remember if we'd already made it, and it was a nodding hill reference, and it was. I'm just a dragon Queen standing in front of a murderous asking her to surrender. So how does the Martina Hingis reference come in? Because it goes on for like, two minutes. It's all of Martinez, tennis Greer the ups and downs. I forgot that she got popped for drug offence. There is a lot of research and detail in your Martina hanging story, we'll happen. There was as we air was trying to figure out a great analogy for something that has a lot of ups and downs. And we wanted to get through the battle scenes quickly because it was just a lot of carnage is a lot current and all the ideas that were coming up for something to had a lot of ups and downs. Just weren't feeling quite on the gay of thrones brand win all of a sudden Martina h'angus's underhand serve to Steffi Graf in the ninety nine French Open just leaped into my head. And I was like it's Martina Hingis tennis career, which when anything sounds like oh my God. It's Martinez tennis career

Black Women Being Underpaid In Hollywood Is Nothing New
"In general, and it is white women black women, and then it kind of goes down. Let's honestly does the other thing that bothered me even they could've just. For the fact, she fucked the numbers of right? It's actually not white women. Black women Asian women. It's white women. Asian women black women Latino women or Latino women, I guess or have you put any and then and then indigenous women on the at least on the stats. Also. Now, they'll stats aren't even. So I don't even I said, we started the point. I don't even know that our numbers, right? And I'd like to see the numbers because I don't think these numbers have been done. And I think she's just using the same numbers that people use for Oscar. So white thing is when she wouldn't use numbers were up there for Oscar. So white people basically were like this. These numbers are the truth. And they've used those numbers to be like these other points. We're trying to make is black women. We don't get paid enough. Everybody was like, yeah. That's proof. Then Gina Rodriguez. Tries to cite what I believe to be the same numbers, even though she flubbed them and people went you can't use those numbers. And I'm like that doesn't make sense to me. That's like saying black women don't have a point. Because Kerry Washington is number eight on the top ten actresses list that that does not take away from the very valid point. That black women are underpaid throughout the industry. Whether there's an outlier or to or not that that doesn't you know what I mean a chain. The point you're making. The fact that you know, people were saying what Gina Rodriguez makes a lot of money all the women that got to be on that stage are the top actresses in Hollywood. So even if his Gabrielle union sewing, it'd be like we'll Gabrielle union is a lot of money. That's not the point. She's advocating for a group of people, you know. So I I don't know I feel like people. She just must have such a fucked up history that she could walk in and like repeat what everybody said and people would be like, nah, nigga. Yeah. And also is one of those things to to wear when these numbers will use for black women. It was Rier irom. She's using these same statistics them. I think she's using these same statistics. And she was saying black people actually get paid more than

Yeah, but with dating light skinned guys. Yeah. 'cause I somehow thought that I was more visible and I was more real, invalid and worthwhile. If a light skinned boy found me attractive like it was somehow negating my darkness and in the reverse. You know, what is it about how you see yourself? Right. That makes you a race, these young women, right? I want you to be able to see that women are be you to full in every shade shape, race, ethnicity, religion, like every along the spectrum there is beauty, right? And right now. I'm seeing is a very, very, very narrow scope of follow who you like, who you wanna be with. And it's the last night we were having this discussion with a larger group of boys are were in LA right before they had to go back to school. And we were having this discussion about what are you want young girls to know right? If I, I'm gonna go speak to young girls. I was speaking to a group of of women today. What are you guys want young girls to know? And they're like, that were not all the same. You guys always say, you know, you blink. They chip, you're right, you know, and and you can say, whatever you want. You know, but we're not all like that. We don't all we're not all just concerned with what's between your legs. We, some of us want to actually get to know you and you know, we care about your accomplishments we care about, you know what else you have going on. We care about your leadership with your with your parents or whatever. And I was like, okay, that is so fair and amazing. Do you think you are sending mixed messages based on the decisions that in the choices that you actually make in real life? Do you think what you say is is what you do? Right? Because actions speak louder than words. Yeah, especially for young people. And I said, so when you look at all the young women that you follow and I said you and you guys know that who you like, what you like and who you follow on social media is public knowledge, right? Muscle. I always look to see who's following me. Yeah. So. You know, do you think that your followers in your likes and who you give attention to? Yeah. Do they speak to what you're saying? Yeah, cricket's. Wow. Because you just drop the mic on them. So you know and said, if that's not who you want to be perceived as than don't be that boom shock Lucca really union is in the house ladies and gentlemen now way, Dwayne, we're gonna talk about him and we're gonna talk about yours. Hash hashtag Wade tour to wait who are one major trip left while to wait. Okay. So start from the beginning wh what? Okay. So we totally lifted the way world tour from the Bosch world tour. Okay, we've learned so much about traveling from the is our neighbors. Sometimes it's one of those things that you don't in until you know better you, you do better when you better. Yeah, we have no idea that there were other ways to travel until we started traveling with. 'cause I want to know because and they will get your life. I feel like Justin, I like do these extra. Again, kind of trips, but I feel tired afterwards or maybe vacation. Yes. So thinking just call your friend Gabrielle union and she will hook you up? Yes. Okay, ready. But I got all of my my all the Kauai travel, our travel agent, like everyone we got through the bashes. Okay. So we didn't know we were like, we were like at beaches in Negril. Let's jump off the cliff in Rick's like we plan and that was awesome. But then we were like, wait, you're in Croatia, you're in. You're in Durban. Like in, you know, Bangladesh, like the number that we didn't know. We'd literally did not know there was so. The world like we can travel the world agree with me and like talk to Peter. And see people and make friends. That's our biggest thing. So if you see us out there like kind of stalking you at the buffet table, we're debating on whether or not we should like cold call you and make you are friends where you going where snacks. So you so we started, we started off in a south of France, and then we linked up with our boy Lewis Hamilton, whoop, whoop de Mercedes to go to watch him. Do the Monaco, grand prix and so sweet. I mean the mad. He's a shut. Yeah, he's, yeah, he's, he's amazing. It's interesting because he is he is the color. He is all of the diversity to be everything to everyone in racing in f one. And so it was interesting for us to be there. This is our second time there. And so when people see us there it, it feels like the world of f one is opening up an and we we know doing so many interviews worth thinking. We're just gonna, go see Louis and drink, and they're like, why are you? So you're drank. Why are you here? Why does one you know, you know, tell us about, you know how you got into f. one. We're like Lewis Hamilton. He's basically opening up the world of f one to so many different people because it's very much a. Very wealthy sport. Yes. And when you hear his story about all the sacrifices, his parents made to even get him into go karting. Right? And then you know the success you had go karting and how you've moved up the ranks to being, you know, the top f one racer in the world like engine amazing story. And so nice. Yeah. And just down to earth. He's awesome, and we're super down to earth because then we got a yacht. We are. We yacht trips with Lewis because we're down to earth. So we did. We did. Grants this other brands Monaco with Lewis and then and his friends and our friends, and then we did. We did. We do a couple's trip and cursory trip every year. And so we have six couples who's anniversaries or like in the summertime, and we do a trip. Ours is two. Oh, wait. So we did a visa to Barcelona. I made him go to see guns and roses in Barcelona. Fine. He's like, am I going to know any of this music monk? Yes, it's Jeanne are and turns out he he only knew welcome to the jungle. I don't know if I know any of the other ones. I do goodness. Okay. Yeah, I'm gonna stop disappointing you. It's okay. So now where's the China? We just two weeks in China. Wow. And now we're doing his dad is getting married in Venice, Italy, and so we're going to go from Venice off somewhere for a few days. Is it going to be before September? Yes. Okay. All right. Nobody even it's it's like an next couple of weeks. Oh, that's so exciting. I mean, we're finishing our Wade world tour at memorial stadium, September first home. Opener, Scott frost home opener. Go big red. Okay. So I had Meyer the fashion. I mean, I like care where you are so fun, but I also want to know what you're wearing. Can we just talk about what is your preparation for these trips? Is it like, hey, stylists, like gone over. We're taking Polaroid's all night of all my looks. And then does he pack them like perfectly? We used to do it that way, but now I just trust that there's going to be dope stuff in the suitcase. I don't know what's in your suitcase. No, that's revolution. Trust like he gets like, this is where I'm type a. Dr. Sowell has tried to pack for me. Many times it doesn't work unpacking and repack it, and I have to show me how to cook she. She Thomas packs everything. And these clear in these clear bags in these clear plastic bags. So it like you can get up in there? No, not garment bags. They're like these little square bags that you get your shoes, your own of your jewelry. I don't know where they get at them. We need to call him. Yeah, it's amazing. And you can get more outfits per. Bag. And so he'll separate. My daytime looks for my nighttime looks, and then he'll send me a spreadsheet with pictures and how to wear them like any. There's like a tricky tie or whatever with instructions for each of it and and pictures of each other. We should tell your stylist this. There's nights where like, okay, we're in a Beasley. I'm going be at like a club where the median age and I'm using words like median age, which tells you how old I am. We're the median age is twenty two, and everyone will be on drugs that I am not comfortable with. I want to look the part. It's not like. Here's that outfit. Yeah.
