Dinesh Is Finishing Up the BOOK for '2000 Mules'
"I'm in the throes of finishing the book 2000 meals that goes with the movie. Now typically in the past with Hillary's America, death of a nation, I've released the book and the movie at the same time, they kind of go concurrently and in some ways the book promotes the movie, the movie promotes the book. But in this case, I was going to do that, but I decided to accelerate our team just kind of came together, and we said, let's just get this movie done. So the movie kind of outran the book. Now, books and movies are two different things. You can do things in a book that you can't do in a movie. You can have levels of detail and documentation, you can put in stuff that doesn't really work in the movie because it's not visual, a movie is really a visual event. But a book is a little bit more like a legal brief. And this book has come together beautifully. I'm really happy with it. I'm going to have actually a photo section in the book, Debbie and I kind of call these photos and I've been writing the captions for them. So you can pre order the book on Amazon now. It's just called 2000 meals, same title as the movie it's coming out in late August. And but the movie continues to have really good traction. And more people are kind of weighing in on it. I'd like to comment on two. Well, a word first about Bill Barr, because I went back and listened to his comments. And the first thing that struck me was a guy was kept talking about photographs because I'm looking for photographs of the same mule at multiple locations. And I thought to myself, nobody who saw the movie would say that because the movie doesn't have any photographs, it has videos. Surveillance video. And so it was Barr simply making a verbal mistake by referring to photographs. I don't think so. I think it really shows that he hasn't seen the movie. He's read some of the fact checks and that's probably all he's read. And then he's probably read the letter from the GBI, the Georgia bureau of investigation, but let's remember that that letter is deeply the product of Georgia
Dinesh Continues His Dissection of NPR's '2000 Mules' Critique
"I'm continuing my discussion or perhaps dissection is the right word of Tom rice box article in NPR. A pro Trump film suggests it's data so accurate it solved a murder. That's false. Before I go on, I want to point out, look at how desperate these guys are, right? This quote solving of a murder. We didn't say we solved the murder, but nevertheless, is totally peripheral to election fraud. It's only used to show that the same geo tracking techniques that could be useful in solving a murder or helping to solve a murder are the same techniques applied to ballot trafficking. But NPR is so eager. I mean, they have so little to attack in the movie, they're like, let's take this case, which is unrelated to ballot trafficking, the Sequoia Turner case, and let us see if we can take it apart and it's granular detail. And so they sat with a certain kind of ahab like determination to try to do that and the effect is, well, let's just see what it is. Now, this is how this is the kind of false sleuth posture that reporter drives back likes to strike up. So he goes, in the episode of the podcast promoting the film, d'souza said Phillips and engelbrecht provided their analysis to the FBI, which turned the data over to the Georgia bureau of investigation, the GBI. Now, NPR contacted the GBI to fact check this claim. Great. Let's see what happens. Quote. The JBA did not receive information from true the vote that connected to the Sequoia Turner investigation said Nellie miles the GBI director of the office of public and governmental affairs. Wait, Tom drives back himself, wrote three sentences earlier that the information was not given to the GBI, but was given to the FBI. And the FBI turned over the information not necessarily with any attribution to true the vote, the FBI is going to look at the data itself. The FBI turns the data over to the GBI. So when the GBI says we didn't get information from truth to vote, true, nobody gave the GBI information directly. The information was given as noted above to the FBI. And then to get even more ridiculous, the writer, Tom dry spot goes quote, an attorney for Sakura Turner's family told NPR they had never heard of the angle bricks and Phillips analysis either. What? What would the family of the victims have to do with any of this? What would they how would they have knowledge of where this information came from? Let's say I go and give information to the FBI, which then gives it to the GBI. Why would I expect that the turnover family would be on the inside of this as the FBI and the GBI regularly sit down with victims families, by the way, we got some tips from here. Let's show you the data. You can no they don't do any of
How Geotracking by 'True the Vote' Might Have Solved Two Murders
"I talked last week about geo tracking, which is one of the key themes and technologies. That is discussed and deployed in the movie 2000 mules. And in the movie, we talk about the power of geo tracking, the first of all, how it is commonly used in law enforcement. It's used by intelligence, agencies, we all have some experience with it because you travel somewhere, you land, you get a notification from the weather channel about the weather, not where you live, but where you just arrived. And obviously that's because they're tracking your phone. That's how they know where you are. And I mean, the only other option would be someone's following you, which is obviously not the case. Now, to validate geo tracking, truth of vote, the election intelligence organization that we've worked in close partnership with. They are the research foundation for this movie. They had a very, well, kind of a brilliant idea. And that was, and they were having this idea in part because they had presented their findings to the GBI, the GBI is the Georgia bureau of investigation. It's kind of the Georgia version of the FBI. And the GBI was a little bit, they seemed a little bit at sea like, you know, what do we do with this? I mean, not they don't know about the technology, but it is obviously being applied in a new way. And so truth of what thought, well, you know what? Any law enforcement agency uses this kind of technology to solve crimes. What about if we pick a couple of high profile crimes that could have occurred in Atlanta at the very period that we were looking at this geo tracking data? In other words, sometimes between sometime in the weeks and months leading up to the election. That's the body of data we have. What if there were some high profile murders that occurred in the area that we have covered that we have data for? Can we help to solve those murders? I mean, this is an audacious idea because think about it. You have private group doing this. Now we have one case. The case of a young black girl, her name is Sakura Turner, and she was shot in the backing out of a parking lot of a Wendy's. This was during a kind of BLM race riot. And we show in the movie, Greg Phillips is talking about this and he talks about how when you look at the location of the van, the little girl was shot in a van and when you look at the direction and trajectory of the bullet and obviously you look at the time, there are only a handful of cell phone devices that could have, well, that are likely to be the shooter. And remember, the true the vote has those cell phone IDs. Now they don't have the names of those guys, but law enforcement can get the names of those guys like that. How do they do it? Well, they go get a warrant. And then they go to the provider, the cell phone provider and go, who are these guys? And they get their names, and there you go. Those are your 5 suspects. So true to vote then turns this information into the GBI. And guess what? Shortly thereafter, do arrests

"But you have to remember Super Bowl usually has a slow start scoring wise historically 9 out of the last ten super bowls have seen ten or fewer points scored in the first quarter. Of course some of those were those patriots zero zero first quarters that they've kind of become known for. But again, low scoring first quarters really kind of puts you behind the 8 ball, the total, I think that we see the pass rush of the rams, disrupt your own company throughout. And I think that we see the game going to the total. So again, I'm not playing the side or the total. I don't think there's a ton of value there. If I had to, it would be rams and under and it's listen. It's a game where I think that a lot of people are kind of handicapping and just based off of vibes. You know, I think a lot of people are just getting behind the Joe burrow story here, but I think the rams have a better roster really top to bottom. And I think that they win the game as far as I'm concerned. Let's get you a couple of props here because I am interested in a couple of these props. I and again, I don't love it, but Odell Beckham junior to score a touchdown is a plus one 20. I do think that there are some legs there. He scored in 6 of his 11 games with ram so far. So he's scored more than half the games and you're getting a plus price. I think it's worth a shot. I know that cup and chase are going to be more popular options in that market, but I think you get a little bit extra from going with Odell instead. And I think he's just as likely to get into the end zone as those guys. So that is why I would go with Odell over them. First quarter being the lowest scoring quarter is a plus one 60 a DraftKings, 9 last ten super bowls, as I've said, have seen ten or fewer points. And this is a game where you have one side who's only been to one of these a few years ago, different quarterback and you have a team that has never been here. I think there's going to be a real feeling out process teams playing a little conservatively for no other reason than they just don't want to ruin their chances at winning the Super Bowl within the first few minutes of the game. So I think that the lowest scoring quarter will be the first at plus one 60. I also like neither team to score an opening drive touchdown at minus one 40. Ponce fields, what have you? I think that's all within the realm of possibility, but I do not think that we see the team march down the field and score on their first possession with the football. Those are my three. I'm not going crazy with the props. I'm not going to sit here and oh, you know, what does CJ usama's yardage look like? I just personally props are not a strength of mine. I know a lot of people are very good at them. I am not one of them. So I tend to keep it pretty conservative during even a game like the Super Bowl where there are so many available. I know there's been a lot of steam on the opening kick-off to not be a touchback, which I think is interesting. You know, you so used to seeing guys blast the football through the back of the end zone on these kick-offs. I'll be interested to see what happens there. And you know, it's nice. It's nice being in this kind of regulated sports betting world now where we don't have to talk about the national anthem or the color of the Gatorade anymore. That's nice. That is nice because don't get me wrong. Those things are fun, but they're also very goofy and open to subjectivity and just kind of annoying to deal with. It's nice just being able to talk about the game as far as I'm concerned. If you do the Gatorade color, I don't know where you would do that anymore. Good luck. I'm glad I don't have to deal with that. Anymore. There are a couple of years ago, purple Gatorade was supposed to be the color. It wasn't even close. It was supposed to be like a Kobe Bryant tribute Gatorade bath that did not happen. And that was when it was a good sign, okay, like we should really reevaluate with these goofy novelty props. But those are the end of the props as far as the Super Bowl's concerned on my end, of course, if you check out the ATS dot IO YouTube channel, you will see TJ calkins give his best prop picks as well over the day or so to come, you will not want to miss that. But folks, that is your look at Super Bowl, is it 56? Yeah, it's 56. I put everything in the Roman numerals and then I doubt myself. It's very dumb. I should just write the number all the time. But it is 56. So both 56 here on the GBI show and more importantly, that's the end of the football season. On the show, but I do have some good news. And that good news is the fact that we are still going to be around after the football season. I'm telling you the support from the podcast audience has resulted in the show sticking around after the football season. We're going to pivot to basketball. And the format is to be determined. It's not going to be weekly. It might be a daily but shorter show in the future talking about basketball. Don't know quite the specifics yet, but I do know within the next couple of weeks we are going to be kind of relaunching the GBI show as not gridiron betting insights ought to come up with some other stupid acronym, but it will be a basketball show until it's time to get back into football. And I can't thank everybody enough for making that possible listening to the podcast. Because without that, this would not exist. This is the first time we've made it through a full season of the show. We did it for the first time last season through a different entity and they shut us down. Halfway through the season because they sold their whole company to somebody else. This year, the support from the ATS team has been very heartening and just super incredible. And the support from the podcast audience has been humbling and just delightful in every way. So thank you to everybody who has made this possible. This football season, but I just do want to let you know we are not going you can't get rid of me that easily anymore, which feels amazing. You can't get rid of me that easily anymore. We're going to be back talking hoops within the next couple of weeks..

"It doesn't mean it's going to hit, but if I'm going to be on a side I'd prefer to be on the side professionals are on. Yeah, this is going to be the game that I get very I'm the most excited about the game. I'm the least excited about betting it. And I'm the most confident that I'm going to fall asleep before halftime because I watched that with a bunch of kids. What's your bedtime usually? You mean for me or the kids? We got to miss free throw. No, for you. Oh, for me, I mean, usually I mean, usually it's like three or 4 a.m. except for like the one day a week, which is usually Monday where I just I can't sustain it and I fall asleep. You go to bed at three in the morning? Oh yeah. Wow. I have never stops. Yeah, I'm a night out too. I usually will cap some college hoops at like midnight. So I'll put out plays sometimes at like 1230. But I mean, I'm still up at 7. Oh yeah. Gotta get, I gotta get kids ready to school at 7, so I'm right there with you. That's why I have a severe dependence on those bang energy drinks that I know are gonna cause me to pass away before you know it. You're a sick pop, man. I mean, I've never had one of those. I mean, I drank plenty of Red Bull vodkas in my day, but never had a bang. Oh, you'd never. You've never had a bank bang vodka? You just suck it down and then you just fire it up or what? So the ultimate is you take the bang, you take a little bit of vodka and you take a four logo that has the same flavor as the bang. And you take the biggest like one of those like souvenir cups, so you just put them all in there and I'm pretty sure that's what caused that's like the source, the origin of COVID-19. And then your wife and her friends found you streaking in the neighborhood, you're saying you're going to the quad. Oh, come on, I can't move. I'm not that much of a pro. I can't move afterwards. Yeah. That's the move though. That's like lean. Yeah, exactly. You mentioned leans before. I'm posting leans and I meant to say that there are only two places where leans are appropriate. The tower of Pisa and JaMarcus Russell's house. Those are the two. Boom. Yeah, it only came about a 45 minutes after you mentioned it the first time. And nailed it. Oh, I got coastal down a point with ten seconds left. I think I stayed going to the line or getting three and a half. All right, we're going to filibuster this thing for the final minute here. You know what we're going to do. We're going to do all the plugs right now and you're going to give us the big payoff at the end of the show is the coastal Caroline or Sean. So don't forget everybody before you go to bed to playoffs, ATS dot IO slash GBI. You can get all the sportsbook bonuses. A ton of states are covered here. I know SI's and Colorado. We got a bed rivers and Caesars are now live in New York, a ton of other states covered with them as well. Check out the site. Check out all those bonuses. Like we said, you don't have to bet every game, but if you're gonna do it at least get some value out of it with some of these I mean, these books are given away money at the beginning if you know what you're doing. Take advantage of it. ATS IO slash GBI, wavy Davy, do we have the payoff from the free throw line? Well, we're down a point with 5 seconds left in app state filed. So barring over time, I think we're in decent shape here. Are we going to line here? Coastal Carolina time out. So I'm guessing it was a foul to give down a .5 seconds with the ball. Hopefully buzzer beater. And the line is straight to The Blacklist calling a timeout as we try to pay this thing off. I want to ask you about New York State betting on how crazy it was. What did you sign? Did you sign up for a bunch of apps or what? Yeah, so there were four available. It was a FanDuel Caesars and bet rivers. Got in on all of them. Was it that rivers was the put in two 50 get two 50 played through it that weekend. It's up to like 6 something. So that was cool. And then FanDuel and DraftKings have been doing those. There's no brainers like bet 50 on like three points being scored in the bills game and stuff like that. So those have just been piling up. And then probably going to take a look at some NBA to start going through some of that money. But yeah, no, it's been amazing so far. Awesome. And we have 5 books left to go. We points bet, win, resorts, and a couple of more to come in the future here. So I'm excited to kind of do this all over again. It's so weird to just it used to be so taboo and now everybody and their brother is just in on it. You know, it's getting like a little too cringe though because like you go to the fan dual app and you see like, oh, here's Bill Simmons same game parlay for Mavs nix. And I'm like, it's silly. I mean looking possibly be a good bet. You listen to sports radio and I'm not going to name names, but the prominent sports radio, former football player, you know, he's doing the FanDuel read. And like, I got it, it's paying the bills. But it's just so silly. It's like tonight. I like the certainly because they can't say names. I'll pair it with the centers over pointing like it's predatory, like it really is. And that's part of what I want to do and what we want to do is to just, I mean, I've been doing this for like 20 years, literally. Which is crazy. Maybe 19. But it's insane. So you've seen so much shit and like we've just been around it and now this boom and yeah, like you said everybody like, I don't give a flying you know what about Bill Simmons is single game parlay. Guess what? Don't do them. Think makes fun of me all the time because I'm like anti single game parlays. Like, you want to mess around once in a while, sure, but as like a betting strategy doing them every day. Right. Because losing move. Because you saw it go around that somebody hit it for ten grand. Like, come on, man. I also really like not a single person has ever been an under in any one of those. There's never one spin and nobody has ever thought that Julius Randle will score like less than 20 points in one of those. I saw I saw somebody tweet that one of the books there was a legal book. He didn't identify that wouldn't even allow you to pair unders in single game parlays. Just seriously, go spend that over on your wife and kids. Go do something else with that money because you're not going to do that. The Super Bowl this year, I think unders in prop markets and we can have we can do a show. We will have me on just talk about this. You can probably make a killing just betting unders on the go to each shop, find the highest number and bang in those unders. Did you hear about the draymond green prop unders the other day? Yeah. Draymond green, he was going to play like a ceremonial opening tip for Klay Thompson's return and everybody hammered his prop unders once that news came out. I think it was DraftKings just hung him for a while. And people were same game parlaying the unders and making like 20 to one, all kinds of crazy numbers, man. I have mixed feelings about that because in that situation you're clearly trying to get one over on the book. Lord knows the book has done that to players a ton. But at the same time, they make a lot of money to be ahead of this news. So they should know that and pull it. So I have mixed feelings about it. I can say J that we did cash coastal 61 60 losers, getting inside the three and a half nation who tailed. We got we're not going to go zero and three tonight. We got a winner. That was the payoff you needed. I'm so glad not only am I glad that we got the result. I'm glad that you actually won the bet. That was a perfect ending for the show right.

"AFC north with bangles and browns, a battle of backup quarterbacks here in Ohio, Bengal 6 point dogs, total 38. Of course, we wrote about this game Monday night on ATS. IO were like, man, take the Bengals minus two and a half. They still have something to play for as far as seating is concerned. Where is the browns had nothing to play for? And then, of course, Joe burrow is announced out to rest his sore knee, Joe Mixon announced out due to a COVID situation, all of a sudden the bangles are 6 point underdogs. I would still recommend taking the Cincinnati Bengals and taking those 6 points in this contest. They're gonna be trotting out Brandon Allen, certainly not an impressive quarterback situation for them in this game. But on the other side, it's gonna be either case Keenum or who's the other guy Kyle lauletta via former giant draft pick I think he's thrown just a few passes in his pro career. So far for the there wasn't even for the Cleveland Browns, but now he has the opportunity to start here for the Cleveland Browns of it's not Keenum. Either way, I don't expect a lot out of the Cleveland offense in this game because the Cleveland offense has been terrible with Baker Mayfield. It wasn't good with case Keenum on that Thursday night game against the Denver Broncos. They managed to get a lot of rushing production out of the earnest Johnson, but it wasn't like Keenum was letting anything up in that game. We've already seen Nick Mullins fail at quarterback for the Cleveland Browns this season. I just don't think that the browns have a lot left in the tank offensively. And for those players who are active in Cincinnati, you got to remember, I mean, this is a Bengals team that they could end up anywhere between the one and the four seed. They have clinched the division in there in the AFC north, so they can't do any worse than forth. But if things break their way, they could end up with the number one scene. So you'd expect the rest of that roster to go out there and play pretty hard. Over the last three weeks, and of course, this is with burrow at quarterback. So you have to take this with a grain of salt. Cincinnati, number one in the NFL in yards per play over the last three weeks, 7.1 yards per play. They are averaging 2.1 yards of play more than the Cleveland Browns over that time period, which gives you kind of some wiggle room here if your Cincinnati, right? You're not going to go out there and earn 7 yards away with Brandon Allen as your quarterback. That's just not going to happen. But you could easily still gain 5 year olds a plane, be right there with Cleveland that whole game. I think as close to a touchdown underdog via the Cincinnati Bengals have a real shot to win this game outright because they still have a vested interest to do so. Next up we have the Tennessee Titans and the Houston Texans total 43 in this game Titans ten and a half point favorites of course the Tennessee Titans, they can lock up the number one seed in the AFC with a win here, which is just crazy to think about, given how long they were without their Henry, how long they were without AJ Brown. And of course, Julio Jones really never a right for this Tennessee Titans team. And yet they are still on the precipice of earning that number one C, give Mike frabel all the credit in the world for that. Tell him that coach of the year Cincinnati certainly on the list, Tennessee with Mike vrabel, certainly on the list of guys who should be considered for that award as well. And it's a game where I can lean toward the under here. I think more than anything else, Tennessee, they certainly have the potential to put up a few points here in this game score pretty big, but you look at the Texans averaging just under 16 points a game on the season and the Titans averaging about 13 points of game allowed on defense over the last few weeks. And I think we see Tennessee really shut down the Texans to where, yeah, you could end up with something like a 30 to 30 to 13 game. You still push the total. I think that as long as Tennessee doesn't break into the high 30s, you're gonna end up with a game that goes under this total as far as I am concerned. So that is halftime here on the GBI show here in week 18 and of course during halftime want to remind you, check out ETS IO slash GBI, the online home of the GBI show. We are working on getting a little listening platform on that page, but you can also check out sportsbook bonuses from books that are available throughout the United States. And of course, if you are signing up to play in New York starting this weekend as they launch their first four books in New York, 9 a.m. Saturday morning. We do have Caesars and Bette rivers bonuses available for you there. Those are two of the four books that will be launching on Saturday morning in New York. So again, that is ATS dot IO slash GBI. Feel free to check that out. Now, second half of the GBI show is here and we will start with the other game in the AFC north. That being the Steelers and the ravens, steelers 6 point dogs totaled 42. It's a game that I don't have a lot of interest in playing because both of these teams have really struggled offensively. I mean, Pittsburgh, especially, yeah, they won that kind of Ben Roethlisberger last year game and Heinz field on Monday night against the browns, but that offense was putrid for the vast majority of that contest. Of course nausea Harris with a big run late to make it look a little bit better than it was. But not a good showing at all from Pittsburgh. And you look at their last three weeks, I have Pittsburgh averaging four yards of play flat, which is somehow better than three other teams in the league, but it is not at all an impressive situation for that Pittsburgh offense. And you look at Deontay Johnson being on the COVID list setting into this week, it is not set to get any more impressive for the Pittsburgh Steelers coming into this game. Baltimore, meanwhile, averaging 5 points a game more than the Steelers over the last three weeks, which is impressive because they've got backup quarterbacks doing that as opposed to Pittsburgh with its starter in bem Roethlisberger, just something interesting to know there. And, you know, both of these teams, they need to win here and they need a lot of help in order to get to the playoffs. I'm going to read off these playoff implications for both of these teams. I'm not even going to sit here and pretend like I've memorized these two because there's a lot going on. And strictly going to look down in my notes and read them because it is like a book as far as what these two teams need to get into the playoffs. For the ravens, they make the playoffs where they win a charger's loss to the Raiders. A colts loss to the Jaguars and a dolphins loss or tie against the Patriots in week 18. Now you look back at those and the colts obviously stick out because the colts are double digit more than two touchdown favorites against the Jacksonville Jaguars. So you kind of feel like the ravens hopes are done right about there. Steelers make the playoffs with a win. Colts loss and anything but a tie in chargers versus raiders. Again, the colts loss is the big sticking point there. Because the culture probably not going to lose to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Of course they very well put. It is possible, but it is highly unlikely that either of these teams gets the win that they need a long with the help that they need in order to make the playoffs. I lean the ravens here just because the Steelers have been so bad offensively, but I want nothing to do with this. We don't know if Lamar Jackson's going to play either. He didn't practice on Thursday. Given the situation and the fact that so much needs to happen for these teams to get in, I think it probably be smart to sit Lamar and just hold them for next season, but who knows what they do in Baltimore? I would lean toward them, but I have no interest in that game. Whatsoever as better. Next up, NFC south in the late window, we are looking at saints versus falcons, saints four and a half point favorites on.

"To take advantage of some of them, all of them, somewhere in between, hopefully. If you go to ATS IO slash GBI, this is not one of those things where I see a dime for any of the activities that you do on any of these sites. That is not me, that's not how I operate. Simply just support the people who support the GBI show at ATS IO slash G BI now let's get into the second half here of the program. We're going to start it with a pretty sad football game before being completely honest. Lions, falcons. Lions 6 point dogs on the road against the falcons total 43 and the question on everybody's mind. The big question in the NFL, can the Detroit Lions get their first winning streak of the season with their second straight win against the falcons this week. I don't know that they necessarily can, especially and who would have thought we'd ever say this with Jared Goff status in doubt for this week. Jared Goff on the COVID list, naturally he pitches a jam against the Arizona Cardinals last week and immediately ends up on the COVID list TJ hawkinson on IR for the Lions and you know it's a game where let's face it. Neither of these teams are particularly impressive on either side of the ball. But what I do think is that in Atlanta, indoors, I think we could get a pretty exciting game in terms of the scoring output from both of these teams. I would lean toward the over 43 in this matchup. I think that the Lions after playing their best defensive game of the season last week against the Arizona Cardinals, I think we see them take a step back on that side of the ball. Both teams in the bottom 5 in terms of yards per play allowed over the last three games. I think we see a decent amount of scoring here with that said, wait and see what's going on with the quarterback situation. You might be able to get a lower total if golf is indeed unable to go at the very least you want to know who is playing quarterback for the teams that you are betting on in this contest, I would certainly say it's a wait and see situation, but I would lean slightly toward the over knowing what we know now and assuming that golf is not going to go. Next up, chargers minus ten at the Texans total 46 charges that heartbreaking loss against the chiefs on Thursday night last week and it's a game that they played where now you have all these people all the Chargers. That's what you get for being analytics, people or whatever. It's such a boring conversation. Let's face it, if any of those close range plays worked out that they went for it on nobody would be criticizing them and they probably would have won the game and we wouldn't be having these same boring conversations about, oh, you need to take analytics out of the game. Listen. What happened in that game wasn't that the Chargers were demonstrably worse than the chiefs? What happened was the chiefs. They got lucky on a couple of short yardage plays. They got like a deflection right at the line of scrimmage on one of them. Herbert throws the ball just a little bit differently. It's an entirely different football game. It's just it's a boring conversation. And we won't belabor it. Any further I accept to say the people who think you need to get analytics out of football as if maximizing your win probability is a bad thing. It's not a good look. Doesn't make you look particularly smart. Anyway. This is a game where I think that the charger should be able to bounce back pretty convincingly the Chargers are tied for fourth in the league in yards per plant season. Texans dead last. Chargers averaging nearly a yard and a half per play more than the Houston Texans, this season. Texans, they did come off a win against the Jaguars earlier this season. The game after they lost 31 21 to the Cleveland Browns. I think we see a similar result here. I think the Chargers, if anything would be the best play as not only are the Texans do for their post Jacksonville letdown like we saw earlier in the season. I also think with 23 individuals on the Texans COVID list, that could be a really big concern for a team that let's face it. It doesn't have a lot of depth. It doesn't have a lot of talent to begin with. I think that as long as the Chargers or at least reasonably healthy coming into that game, which is not a given in today's current society with all these COVID announcements coming at the last minute and every sport, I think as long as there are at least reasonably healthy, they should be able to take care of business against the Texans there. Next up, ravens bangles are really interesting AFC north matchup ravens three point dogs on the road, total 45 and the last few weeks, I guess have kind of begged the question and it's a question that I am just relishing and hearing is Tyler Huntley, really that much of a downgrade when you compare them to Lamar Jackson. You know my stance on Lamar Jackson I've called them the F word many times. I'm of course not talking about the F word that Kelly and Vegas would use to describe cliff Lee. I am talking about the word fraud. I believe that Lamar Jackson is a fraud when it comes to big games. And, you know, for the most part he's kind of proved me right throughout his career. Tyler Huntley, on the other hand, he has come out guns blazing these last couple of weeks. Engineer backdoor cover against the browns a couple weeks ago. And gets them to within a point of beating the Green Bay Packers last week. I was 31 30 and the second time in just a few weeks where the ravens go for two after a late touchdown when they could have chosen to tie the game up. They choose to go for it. It does not work. That doesn't mean it was the wrong decision. It just didn't work out in their favor, but hey, credit to Tyler Huntley, they didn't play in some competitive football with them. Lamar Jackson questionable for this matchup, still dealing with the.

"Of the bottom of the league, by the way, game with huge draft implications. The Jaguars and the jets. It is a pickup game as of Thursday afternoon, total 41. And I lean toward the jets. We gave it out at two and a half earlier this week and of course not optimal closing line value on that. That's going to happen sometimes. When you're actually making the bets at the early points of the week, sometimes you're going to get the closing line value in your favor. Sometimes you are not. The goal is, of course, to do it as often as possible. But it didn't happen here. And that's okay. We're going to be open about that because that's how we roll around the GBI show. But I would lean toward the jets here anyway. Look, the Jaguars, zero and 6 straight up on the road this season, no reason to believe that they are going to break that curse even against the jets team that is certainly not good, but it is jet stream that has won a couple of games at home this season against superior competition. They beat the Titans at home. They beat the bangles at home this season. They are a team that has at least been competitive at home throughout the year. They were competitive with the Miami Dolphins who are now surging in the AFC east in a home game at met wife stadium. I think that the jets are going to get the better of a Jaguar's team that is the only team by the way in the National Football League not to score 200 total points on the season. That is an interesting number as you look at the performances of all these teams this year. There are a lot of teams scoring at some points this year in the NFL. Jacksonville Jaguars not one of them. Under 200 total points for the year in 14 games that is certainly not going to get it done. I don't think he gets it done against the jets here. So that is halftime here on the GBI show. Folks, we are through looking at the first 8 games on the week 16 schedule and halftime is of course a.

"Been a different guy in that regard than he was in Philadelphia where turnovers really plagued him during his time there. And hey, give him a lot of credit for that. Of course, having Taylor to lean on certainly helps, whereas the eagles, even when they have had an effective rusher, not always great about getting them their touches, but all the credit goes to wins and Taylor and of course that old line for making things work the way that they have. And I think that they could be a real problem for a Cardinals team here where we're talking about another potential second half collapse, which you got a question. I mean cliff Kingsbury. We say before every season that the guy's not a winner and he goes out and proves it in the second half of these seasons a lot of times, Arizona coming off the loss to the Detroit Lions. I just flat out embarrassing on the part of the Arizona Cardinals there. I understand hey, we talked about it last week. It might not be a game where they came out fully focused, given what's going on in terms of their schedule around that game. I mean, next week they play the cowboys and another marquee matchup. So maybe they just weren't super enthused about going out and taking out Dan Campbell's Detroit Lions. But that was a pathetic showing. And I guess my take here is that I trust the over in this game more so than I like either side. The colts, they've been playing very well, but you take them on the road on a night prime time games during the weekend there. I don't really love that spot for them. And then I mean, when it comes to the Cardinals, I don't know if I trust them enough to deliver as currently constructed with the woes that they're defensive than having. So give me the over here, I think, would be the play. It was around 50 earlier in the week. That's what we had told everybody to go bet it over on the website. It's down to 48 and a half now. I think it's a decent look as I think that both offenses should be able to get some points on the board. So that's a Christmas Day slate. I think it's going to be a lot of fun. The NBA at the same time as some of these NFL games, I think it's going to make for a really fun Christmas Day. If you are a sports enthusiast, of course, spend some time with your families, make sure you prioritize that. But if you are going to watch some sports, plenty of options on Christmas Day. Now let's move to the Sunday slate in the NFL and we will start with giants eagles giants. Ten point dogs, total 40 and a half. And you know, again, I talked about the next system a minute ago, I'm a Knicks fan nominee or Giants fan. And can we just forfeit the rest of the season? Can the Giants just not do the rest of the season? They shut down Daniel Jones. It's going to be Mike Glenn and the rest of the way. And get ready for some fun numbers about Mike glennon ladies and gentlemen because it's terrible. It's pathetic. Mike glennon, so far during his tenure with the New York Giants this season, averaging 5.2 yards per pass attempt. And whenever I give out these yards per play yards per pass attempt numbers, I try to provide some kind of context, right? Where that guy ranks in the league, where that team ranks in the league in those numbers. Well, when it comes to Mike Glen, he hasn't amassed attempts to rank in terms of the actual quarterback list. But you can look at his yards per tenth and compare him to other quarterbacks. So here at the GBI show, right? We're a hardworking group of one. As far as, you know, I'm producing preparing delivering the show as I love to do. It's one of my great passions as far as the sports gambling industry is doing this very show. So no complaints about doing the research, of course. But you look at Mike glennon's yard prepares attempt numbers. And they are worse so far the season than the following quarterbacks. Jacoby Brissette, Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Davis mills, all averaging more yards for pass attempt. Than Mike glennon is this season with the Giants. And as if that wasn't bad enough, cadre is Tony, the Giants wide receiver. He is averaging 6.3 yards per pass attempt, which is over a yard per attempt more than Mike glennon this season. That's concerning if you're a Giants fan trying to watch these last few games of the season. Meanwhile, the eagles I listen, they're fighting for a playoff spot somehow here. The bottom feeders of the NFC east have all lost the eagles recently making things pretty easy on Philly the rest of the way who, of course, they get the Washington football team again next week, chance for them to win another game in division and really give themselves a good shot at getting to the playoffs here. So they've got something to play for and they're playing one of the worst quarterbacks in the league right now. As a ten point favorite at home, I think that the eagles might actually be worth a play here. The Giants defense tends to come to play at home they actually did get the better Philadelphia earlier in the season at home. But on the road, I don't see them putting up a lot of fight. And more importantly, I just don't see them putting up a lot of points. I think that if Jalen hurts, who is questionable, but if Jalen hurts and that eagles offense can score 21 points, I think that's out of reach as far as the point spread is concerned for the Giants this coming week. It's going to be pretty ugly in my opinion. Next up, NFC showdown. Here on the GBI show, rams, Vikings, rams, three point favorites, total of 49, and you know the rams starting to put it back together again. They had that run where things were going very poorly for them, Matt Stafford was looking banged up. Well, they've kind of fixed that. They have turned that around as the rams. They have one three straight all of a sudden. And now you look at this rams team tied with the Cardinals for first place in the NFC west. I believe that the cardinals are above them in the standings. By some tie breakers scenario that I didn't feel like looking up. But the rams are right there. They have a winnable game this week. And the cardinals have a very difficult game on Saturday. And you wonder, okay, is this the time where the rams can kind of take over this division like yours truly thought they would from the beginning of the.

"Promo code is GBI bonus. And before we get to the second half, before we get to half number two with the GBI show, I want to take a quick second to thank everybody who is supporting the show. It does not go unnoticed and I do appreciate everybody who has watched the show, shared the show or otherwise supported the show in some way. We would not be here without you. And I wanted to thank you for that before we get into the second half of the show. So let's get right into it. Jets dolphins to get the second half of the GBI show underway. The jets, 9 and a half point underdogs on the road, total 41. This was a game where the dolphins were there around 8 point favorites early in the week, that number has since ballooned to the current 9 and a half. And it's a game where we gave this game out on Monday and you know what? Sometimes you get the good closing line value sometimes you don't in the NFL. And this is a case where we have it. We gave out the over on 43. The numbers down to 41. So you can get a better number on the over than I did, but I think that this is a game where the loss of jaylen waddle due to the COVID list for the dolphins is not as significant as I think a lot of people might think only because of how bad the New York Jets have been defensively. They've allowed 31 and a half points per game in their last two games. And yes, I understand that's a small sample size. But you can look at who it came against, right? Philadelphia Eagles without Jalen hurts, it was Gardner minshew, who carved them up. You look at the next week, New Orleans Saints, Taysom Hill at quarterback. And they still managed to put up 30 points against the jets. Alvin Kamara ran wild in that game. This is a jets team that just gets beat in a lot of ways. I think tua tango by Lowe, even without jaylen waddle, who yes, is kind of his top target. It's been kind of a really nice rapport between the two of them, especially in the second half of the season with the dolphins have really surged. I think even without him, you're going to see big games from guys like gesicki on this dolphins team. Of course, barring more COVID related absences in this contest. By the way, the jets, I think they're going to help get the total there. I really do. They put up 17 the last time against the dolphins. I think if you get a similar number there, I think we should be able to get to the over 43 or the better current number available at around 41. So that is my take on jets and dolphins. Next up, another east division matchup this time in the NFC east, Washington football team, 7 point dogs at the eagles, total 43 and a half. This one we did get a little closing line value. Very exciting. We gave out eagles minus four and a half in the middle of the night on Monday, heading into Tuesday. It is now a 7 point spread. Jalen hurts expected to make his return for the Philadelphia Eagles this week. Several players on the COVID list for the Washington football team. You also have Curtis Samuel Terry mclaurin, questionable for this contest. Should be noted Taylor heinecke expects to play, which might be a detriment Kyle Allen looked a lot better than heineke last week against the Dallas Cowboys before heineke was injured. The football team, by the way, averaging 4.4 yards per play over the last three games. And without context, that number doesn't mean much. So here is the context I will give you. Only the Jaguars and the Texans have averaged fewer yards per play over their last three games than the Washington football team. Remember earlier in the show, I said over the last three weeks, the Jaguars and Texans respectively averaging 4.2 and 4.0 yards per play over the last three games, the Washington football team, just a little bit better than both of them, but worse than everybody else. Averaging 4.4 yards per play. Now this is a big game, by the way. Both of these teams 6 and 7 heading into this game, which does have you in the race for a wildcard spot in the NFC. Moving to 7 and 7 would be huge, dropping to 6 and 8 would be very detrimental to the playoff hopes of either of these teams. So we'll be interesting to see how this game goes, but I would lean toward the eagles a little bit more explosive, offensively and with hurts back, you get the variety, the read option stuff that is very difficult to defend at this point of the season, especially for a team like Washington that hasn't been great defensively to begin with. Next up, bangles, Broncos here on the GBI show, little AFC matchup here, Bengals two and a half point dogs against the Broncos who host this game. Total 44 and a half and I had the bangle struggling as of late, especially on the defensive end of things, right? We saw them get carved up by Justin Herbert and the Chargers, a couple of weeks ago, they can't hold the niners in overtime last week. They lose that game and all of a sudden the bangles looking kind of iffy whereas I mean, you know, about a month and change of how they were the number one seed in the AFC there for a while. They have certainly fallen off the map. But this is a very winnable game for them, I think. This is a game where they face a Broncos team that has a bottom 5 strength of victory in the NFL this season. What is strength? The victory. It's the wind percentage of the teams that you've beaten this year..

"To make a play. Next up cardinals lines, cardinals, 12 and a half point favorites on the road, going to Ford field. Total 47 and a half. And again, another injury situation emerging for the Cardinals here. Deandre Hopkins will again be missing time for this team. Two to four months MCL surgery puts the rest of his season in jeopardy. That is a real problem for the Cardinals, TJ hawkinson, by the way, he's set to miss this game with a hand injury. So key weapons for both quarterbacks set to miss this game, of course, one quarterback is Kyler Murray. The other one is Jared Goff, so the importance of missing weapons certainly a lot greater on the side with Jared Goff as the quarterback. But still significant. I mean, Deandre Hopkins, I mean, one of the best wide receivers in the recent history of the NFL. You don't have him, your offense is always going to look worse than it would if you had him. Both these teams really proficient covering the number so far this season, Arizona 9 and four against the spread so far this year and the Lions 8 and 5 against the spread on the season. Of course, the Lions failing miserably to cover last week and they got destroyed by the Denver Broncos, of course the Cardinals failing to cover as well last week when they lost to the LA rams at home on Monday Night Football. And that's a game that kind of reopens the door in the NFC west race and that really turns up the importance of this game for the Arizona Cardinals, right? You win this game against the Lions like you're supposed to, you still at least maintain that one game lead heading into the final three games of the season. We will see if they can do that. I mean, I guess the question is, you know, how much do the Cardinals really go out and give it their all in this game? Again, coming off a big loss like that, I think we're gonna see a pretty charged up Cardinals team. But my question here really is, do we get the competitive Lions team that we have seen at home throughout the season? The lines they've been competitive at home this year against teams like the ravens, the Vikings, made that big comeback against the niners that fell just short. They have been very competitive. The numbers, of course, say the Cardinals all day in this game, but I am going to lay off it as a big number on the road in a potential look ahead spot as the Cardinals. They host the colts on Saturday next week, which marquee game prime time. I think that this is a game that's probably best to lay off of, especially with the Lions. Again, being a very competitive team on their own field. Panthers builds up next, I think, has the potential to be a lot less competitive, despite both of those last couple games I've talked about being double digit spreads. Panthers 11 point dogs on the road in this game total 44 and a half. And the big story coming into this game is just how bad the quarterback situation has been for the Carolina Panthers over the last few weeks. Cam Newton ever since he's taken over as a starting quarterback, zero and three are the Carolina Panthers. It has not been good PJ walker came in briefly last game for the Panthers. That did not go well. Either he turned the ball over in his brief action and now we're talking about Sam darnold might be a couple of ways from getting back a couple of weeks I should say from getting back into the mix. None of those are the options for the Carolina Panthers. It's very sad that the Cam Newton thing has not panned out. That first week we scored a couple of touchdowns when only playing for a couple of plays. That was a really cool story. But since then, things have just gone super south for the Carolina Panthers. Carolina, by the way, 5 and 8 against the spread this season, only the bears Jaguars and jets are worse against the number this season than the Panthers. There are a few other teams at 5 and 8 as well, but only the bears Jaguars and jets worse than those teams against the number on the season and this is a big game for the bills all of a sudden. They've lost back to back Heartbreakers against contending teams, right? They played in that high wind situation against the Patriots. Lost 14 to ten. They had multiple chances to win it late, but they simply couldn't reliably throw the ball in those wins to get the win. And then of course last week they play Tampa Bay. They go, they go behind early, furious comeback to force over time and then they lose it on a touchdown and overtime and boy. What a week last week was for underdog betters and overtimes. You have the bangles as a home dog in overtime, take a field goal to start over time. They lose by giving up a touchdown to the niners. You have the bills. Three and a half point dogs. You figure, just give up a field goal, everything's going to be fine. They give up a huge chunk plan over time for a touchdown to not cover the spread against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. So again, just like RIP, if you have the browns, RIP, if you had underdogs in overtime last week in the NFL. But two straight heartbreaking losses for the bills, all of a sudden this game takes on a lot of importance. I think we see a really focused bills team whose defense is excellent, by the way, I think they are going to really shut down Cam Newton. PJ walker, Sam darnold, Matt Barkley, Charles Barkley, whoever the quarterback may be for the Carolina Panthers in that ball game. I would lean toward the bills, covering the spread in that game. So that's halftime here on the GBI show folks. We have made it through the first half of the NFL week 15 schedule. And well, again, we made it further this week than urban Meyer. So that's a pretty big win in my book. Of course, at halftime on our mind you check out Caesar's sports book use promo code GBI bonus for matched bed of up to a $1001 on your first wager at Caesar sportsbook..

"Trying to be a Matt silbert here and give you a bunch of stale numbers, but if things have changed because of COVID situations, I do apologize. Anyway, chiefs chargers, chiefs, three, three and a half point favorites. Total 52 here on Thursday Night Football. And both of these teams coming off a really nice wins last week against opponents that certainly did not bring their best. Last week, you had the chiefs, they just whooped up on the Las Vegas Raiders. It was 48 to 9 last week. You had the Chargers across the Giants 37, 21 a game that wasn't even as close as the final score indicates. We'll talk about that one a little later when we talk about giant's cowboys. But this is a game that is very significant. It's a game where the chiefs, they can pick up their 7th straight win and more importantly, they can really lock up the division if they come away with a victory in this game. The Chargers, meanwhile, they're fighting for the division still. They're fighting for the postseason still. There is a lot on the line for both of these teams. And I guess the question here is do the chiefs continue to play well defensively as they have the last few weeks, right? All season long, the chiefs defense has been a disaster. They've been near the bottom of the league in yards per play allowed as we've comprehensively documented over the course of this season. But over the last three games, they are allowing under 5 yards of play. They are tied for fourth in the NFL in yards per play allowed during that stretch. And I think it's really interesting because we've seen not only is the defensive proof, but in some cases the offense has improved with it. A lot of that is come against the Las Vegas Raiders, but I do think it's really interesting to note the fact that the chiefs playing better on both sides of the ball, the winds are starting to come, and of course it's funny because we mentioned a few weeks ago how all the chiefs need to win out in order for our under 12 and a half wins season wind total not to come in. And it's starting to get a little sweaty now. We got four weeks to go and I'm starting to get a little worried that the chiefs might actually run the table here. On the other side, the Chargers put together a couple of nice performances in a row here, right? They played really well against the Cincinnati Bengals. Now they play really well against New York Giants, granted the Giants were super depleted on the offensive side of the ball, but it's something that certainly can not be overlooked as Justin Herbert hadn't been great for most of the season, but they're putting up a lot of points these last couple of games. Maybe they're starting to turn things around. I think this is a really interesting game on both sides. I would lean super slightly to the Chargers at home in this game. I am curious as to what the home field advantage is going to be like, I have a feeling that there's going to be a lot of chief noise in that building, maybe the fact that it's a weekday game instead of a Sunday game mitigates that a little bit, but you always have to worry when you back the Chargers that it's going to feel like a home game for the other team there in Los Angeles and that's kind of a concern on my part. So an injuries on both sides here Derwin James questionable asante Samuel is as well, Austin Eckler questionable for the Chargers. And right now with the way the chiefs are playing, you kind of can't afford to be missing important guys like that. So it would be interesting to see who does and does not suit up as we get closer to game time on the chief side defensively some pretty key injuries. Chris Jones, lucier, not suiting up for this one on the Kansas City side. And against an offense that is pretty decent passing the ball on their day. I think that could be a problem for the chiefs. Like I said, I lean slightly toward the charges here who are better on both sides of the ball in terms of yards for play all season long, but I am a little concerned with how the defense of the chiefs has picked things up, maybe they might be able to slow Justin Herbert down. I think this is a really close game either way. And I think it's going to be one of the more entertaining Thursday night contests that we see all season. Now this is normally the part of the GBI show where I say, okay, that's a football. Let's move on to the Sunday sleep. That is not the case this week because ladies and gentlemen, we have Saturday football once again in the NFL. I love this part of the year where you get the Saturday games on top of the Sunday stuff, just super exciting. And I think that we have a couple of pretty good, at least pretty interesting games on the Saturday slate here and we are going to start with one of these COVID games, man. Who knows where the line ends up by the time we have kick off raiders browns, raiders a minus one and a half point favorite or I guess just a one and a half point favorite if you want to talk like you actually know what you're talking about. And the total 38 and a half. This was a game, as I mentioned before where the browns were 6 point favorites on Monday. And I thought, hey, Baker Mayfield starting to play better. Lay in the 6th against this disastrous raiders defense over the last few weeks, not a bad idea. Well, if you did that, I'm very sorry because Baker Mayfield is now on the COVID list. Jarvis Landry on the COVID list. Kareem hunt's just not going to play. He's injured, which is unfortunate. Obviously, you hope everybody you hope the COVID guys feel better. You hope that the injured guys, you hope everybody gets better, but it's just the browns getting it from all angles here and now the Raiders of course favored in this game where they were close to a touchdown underdog before all those COVID news bytes dropped. There's a raiders team, by the way, not a 100% healthy themselves, Darren.

"Normally you'd see Cincinnati playing in the 1 o'clock window at home. So you don't have the body clock concern next week for the niners as they play the bangles. I think that is going to be one of the games of the weekend in week 14. And we'll see if the niners can stay focused against now with three and 8 Seattle team. Something that we haven't said in quite some time if they can stay focused for that game instead of looking at the Cincinnati who would have thought that that would have been a scenario that would have been possible heading into the season. The Seahawks, by the way, signing Adrian Peterson heading into this game, which that's an interesting decision. I had a really banged up running back department. You have Alex Collins and Rashad penny questionable for this game. And of course they had been dealing with Chris Carson being out for the rest of the year. So we'll see if Adrian Peterson can give them the pump in the running game that they have been looking for. But I don't feel particularly high on that move or anything that the Seahawks are doing right now. Two more games to get to here on the GBI show starting with Sunday Night football. Broncos 9 and a half point dogs going to Kansas City to take on the chiefs total 47 and a half. This game was not supposed to be the Sunday Night football game originally. That was supposed to be the aforementioned niners Seahawks game, but the Seahawks thinking combined with the Broncos being pretty good this year kind of flipped those and made this the Sunday Night football matchup with the flex scheduling that and we see enjoys and you know this is a game that it's going to determine first place in the AFC west. The Kansas City Chiefs are game up on the rest of the division. Kansas City 7 and four, everybody else is 6 and 5. And it's a game where the Broncos are looking to turn around one of the biggest losing streaks against a single opponent in the NFL. They have lost 11 straight games to the Kansas City Chiefs dating back to 2015. They are looking to avoid a 12th straight defeat at the hands of the chiefs. Of course, one of the big stories from rebelling perspective is this is the game that everybody always looks for when it comes to an Andy Reid coach team. This is the chiefs coming off the biweek. Andy Reid historically has done very well with his teams the week after the bye week. But here's the thing. Every team is different. And every game is different. You may notice on the GBI show, I don't sit there and give you trends of over the last 14 years, this team is 14 and one against the spread in this particular situation because those trends don't tell you enough about the teams that are playing now. Who were the quarterbacks of those teams 14 years ago? Was everybody healthy? 14 years ago. Yeah, have to take those goofy trends with a massive grain of salt. I'm not saying that they're useless. Some of them might be useful. Some of them could help sometimes. But you have to take them with a huge grain of salt. And I think that the Andy Reid biweek trend is certainly one of those. He's coached. He's coached in multiple places during that time period. He's had a ton of different quarterbacks. Alex Smith and Patrick Mahomes are very different football players. One of them can throw laser beams to the moon with a football. One of them couldn't throw the ball further than ten yards down the field. They're different guys. And that is why I think that the Broncos would be the play here. And the market is kind of agreed so far. This is a double digit point spread earlier in the week around ten. It has come down a shade to 9 and a half. I think we see continue to shrink closer to kick-off. And it's a game where, look, I'm not saying that the Broncos are the better team here by any stretch of the imagination. But I think that you look at the games that Kansas City have played recently, right? They've played well defensively against Jordan love in the packers. They shut down dak Prescott in the cowboys. They played nice defensive performances, but they haven't been great offensively in those games either. Three of their last four games, they failed to break 21 points. They scored 20 against the Giants. They only needed 13 to beat the packers. And then what are they 19 to 9 against the cowboys? They haven't been, you know, throwing the ball around at will like we're used to seeing with them. If a team like the Broncos can put up a couple of touchdowns, get close to 20 points. They could easily cover this number. They could win the game outright. I lead toward the Denver Broncos in this game because again, I think that you'll look at the results. You look at the records of these teams and you look at the reputation of the chiefs and everything points towards, oh yeah, they're going to crush the Bronco. But you provide a little context and the way that the chiefs have been winning over this four game winning streak. Not quite as impressive as you might think and I think that is certainly worth keeping an eye on in this contest. By the way, Denver better ATS this season than the chiefs chiefs four and 7 against the spread on the year, whereas Denver is 6 and 5. And even if you take out that easy stretch at the beginning of the season, Denver has been just about the same in terms of their win percentage as the chiefs against the spread on the year. I think there's too many points. I think it was closer to 7. I think, okay, yeah, the chiefs would be the move. But at this number, I think Denver's the way to go on Sunday Night football. Finally, our final week 13 preview of this NFL season, Monday Night Football, and this in my opinion, the game of the week in the NFL. Monday Night Football, patriots, bills, New England. Two and a half point dogs on the road heading up to Orchard park. It is going to be lit. I can only imagine how great that tailgate is going to be outside the parking lot of whatever the bill of stadium is called now. It's at like 14 different names over the last two years. But that tailgate is going to be legendary for a Monday night game against the Patriots. When the bills actually have a chance to win. Total for the game, by the way, 43. And, you know, I say that they actually have a chance to win because there was a recent Monday Night Football game..

"Is certainly not help the Washington football team and it is certainly not going to help them in this game where if you can't get pressure on Tom Brady, you're in a world of trouble. There are some injuries to keep an eye on for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Gronk Godwin Antonio Brown all on the injury report is questionable. We'll see if they play, but I'm not sure it's going to make a huge difference because I think they'll lack of pressure. This Washington football team has been getting, I think it's significant. And I think that we've seen that in a lot of double digit losses for this team against respectable opponents, right? They've lost by double figures to the saints already this season. They lost by double figures to the chiefs. Neither of those two teams, by the way, as good as kind of the name recognition would suggest coming into the season and yet they still manage to win in Washington by multiple scores. I would lean toward the same thing happening in this game with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I think if there were a play to be made, it would be Tampa Bay to cover the number. Next up, we'll go to Arizona. Carolina Panthers, Arizona Cardinals, cardinals, a double digit favorite of this game around ten and a half, total 44 and a half, of course, last week. The Cardinals did not have Kyler Murray and they still beat the San Francisco forty-niners and I just want to kind of pour out my invisible drink here for everybody who bet the niners early in the week anticipating the Kyler Murray news. I mean, they were around a pickup for a while. They were favored by one or two points for a period of time than the Murray news drops and all of a sudden their favor by four points and they still can't even sniff winning the game, let alone covering the spread. One of the great closing line bonfires of the season thus far. So again, pouring out my invisible 40 ounce of old English for anybody who made the smart bet with the niners there was just absolutely punished for it. I mean, again, this is one of those things, right? You bet the NFL and things like that happen to you. And you just your left shaking your head. But it is what it is. Last week, also notable quarterback news for the Carolina Panthers in that Sam darnold, he was knocked out. PJ walker shout out. He was the roughneck second XFL shout out of the night. He finished out the game and now it looks like he is going to start this game, but it looks like Cam Newton is coming back to Carolina possibly to start the rest of the way. We don't know yet, but it's a very weird quarterback situation. Darnold dealing with a shoulder injury, MVP still not going to get his full on shot here for the Panthers. It looks like, but he will get an audition here this coming week, assuming that they don't just rush Cam Newton right into things. And I'm not sure it's going to go particularly well for PJ walker. I mean, it is bad luck that this is the game he's got to come out and play in against the team with the number one point differential in the NFL and the Arizona Cardinals. You know, both teams pretty decent defensively coming into this game. Both giving up an average of 5 and a half yards per play. Anytime you're better than that 6 yards of play average defensively, you're at least competing, you're doing pretty well out there. But the difference in offenses in this game is just massive. The Cardinals tied for fourth in the league in yards per play. They're 9 yards per attempt through the air ranks first in the league and you got to remember one of their weeks so far this season was with colt McCoy at the quarterback position and they still ranked first in that regard. The cardinal's 7 and two against the spread so far this season and, you know, Caroline and not super impressive in terms of their offensive statistics. And you have a feeling right that certainly isn't going to get better with a guy who is not accustomed to starting making a start. I mean, really, to me, the only path in this game for the Carolina Panthers is if cardinals just kind of have trouble getting after PJ walker in terms of knowing what to expect from him and of course Kyler Murray coming out rusty the way that dak Prescott did against the Denver Broncos a week ago. Again, the numbers like the Cardinals with Murray coming back from the injury, I don't feel super comfortable laying the double figures, but that I think would be the best play to make if you were so inclined to wager on that contest. Now we're moving along here on the GBI show. Interconference clash between the Minnesota Vikings and the Los Angeles chargers just saved myself by the way from saying San Diego. I was very close to letting a San Diego slip on the show. Something I've done many times, but I do like to try to avoid it when possible. Chargers three point favorites heading into this game total 53. Last week, the Vikings, they did take the Baltimore Ravens still over time on the road just couldn't pull it out at the end. The Chargers they did win against the Philadelphia Eagles and you know, this game is really a question of what version of both of these teams are you going to get this week? And the answer for me at least is that I really don't know. That's why I lean slightly toward the Chargers in this game, but not a compelling play on either side as far as I'm concerned. Both of these teams within a tenth of a yard per play with each other both on offense and defense and of course Minnesota, you know, you have some question marks now with hold down and cook situation. Is that going to impact the ability of the Vikings to move the football? But you also have to ask, I mean, you know, are the Chargers defensively going to perform at a high enough level for that to matter because they certainly have had their bouts of terrible play defensively this season, but then they've also kind of brought a couple of masterpieces on the defensive end as well. Just a lot of inconsistency on both sides for both of these teams. And, you know, that's the number one thing I look for embedding on the NFL is do I know who these teams are? And these are two teams that I have had a really hard time wrapping my head around so far this season. So it is a pass for me. I would lean towards the charges being at home. I think that a second straight road game for the Vikings will not do them any favors, but again, I do not trust the Chargers on either side of the ball to deliver for me in that situation. By the way, last week, write the Chargers, they beat the eagles. Let's move right on to the Philadelphia Eagles. They're playing the Denver Broncos this week in Denver. Broncos are three point favorite at mile high, total 46. And the Broncos might have been the most impressive game we saw played last week right up there with the Jacksonville Jaguars. If they were taking, if there was a prop bet that was who would have the most impressive performances in the NFL in a given week? You'd have to make a lot of guesses before you got to the Denver Broncos and the Jacksonville Jaguars. And yet, that's exactly where we ended up incredible performance last week by the Denver Broncos 30 to 16 against the Dallas Cowboys. And the question is can they do anything similar to that for a second straight week? This is a Broncos team that before that game against the cowboys. And we'll kind of dismiss them as a team that had only played well against poor competition, they completely destroy that narrative last week. So let's see. I mean, can they start a new one and build a winning streak here once again in Denver? But this time against, you know, at least professional football teams unlike the winning streak that they had at the beginning of the year where they won three straight against the jets giants. And the Jaguars. On the eagle side, you know, it's a bad loss to lose at home like that against the West Coast team. I think that this is an evenly matched game statistically..

"The housekeeping out of the way, let's take a look at our progress report for all these preseason wagers. Then we will get to Thursday. Football will get to the NFL week ten business as well. Now, before the season, we recommend it. It was like 12 or 13 bets across the four season preview shows on the GBI show. We did a couple of divisions on each show. And during each of those programs, we recommended a couple of bets from each division before the season started. So let's take a look at how those are currently going. I don't believe we have any that have settled yet, but we have some that are well on their way. We have some that are looking significantly less positive. We'll take a look at all of them right now. We will start with the Green Bay Packers to win the NFC north. We took that at minus one 45. They're currently three and a half games up on the second place Minnesota Vikings. So things are looking good there. Of course, assuming that Aaron Rodgers doesn't become one of these long haul COVID situations, things probably going to go the way we want to with that one in the NFC north. In the AFC north, we recommended the Pittsburgh Steelers to win the division at plus 500. It did not look good for a while there, folks that look pretty ugly as they were down at the bottom of the standings. They've taken advantage of some weaker competition in recent weeks. They're now a game back of the Baltimore Ravens. And at 5 to one, don't hate where we're sitting there, you know, again, on uphill battle, the schedule will get tougher for the Steelers. But it's at least in play again, which at 5 to one od is really all you can ask for at the halfway point of the season. Also in the AFC north, we recommended the Cleveland Browns under ten and a half wins. And they're 5 and four so far. So it really could go either way. Of course they got rid of Odell Beckham, junior, which we will talk about again later in the show and we look at the Cleveland Browns upcoming game. But it really could go either way some chemistry issues, hopefully will derail the browns as the season goes along and they can stick to ten or fewer wins. The team that I just wasn't all that high on going into the season. And again, we are at least in play on that one. So we'll see where that goes. We'll move to the NFC east now. We have the Dallas Cowboys to envision. There was a plus money ladies and gentlemen. They were plus one 50 when we gave it out to win the NFC east and right now they are clearly in the driver's seat in that division. They are up four games in the lost column on every other team in that division. So things looking good there for a nice plus one 50 cash. We're also on the Giants under 7 wins. That was also a plus money. That was a plus one ten at DraftKings when we had recommended it on the program. Giants three and 6 through their first 9 games. So it would take quite a lot to lose that bet. I mean, they could win four games and push, but they would need to more than double their first half production in the win column in order for us to lose that. I like where we're standing there. Buffalo Bills in the AFC east over 11 wins. And this is one that took a pretty significant step back last week, right? We thought the Jaguars was going to be a give me. It turns out that was not the case, unfortunately. So they sit at 5 and three through the first 8 games of their season as we approach them the way point. And, you know, they should get there. It's still a weak division. But you really would have liked to have been at 6 and two rather than 5 and three a seat of doubt planted there with the Buffalo Bills after that last contest that they lost 9 to 6 to the Jacksonville Jaguars make fun of them more in a little bit. Patriots under 9 and a half wins. We gave that out. It was a minus one 25. One that could go either way, there are 5 and four through the first 9 games, of course, they've won three in a row. That bet looked a lot better just a few weeks ago. So we'll see where that one ends up. The LA rams to win the NFC west was a plus 200. Their game back of the Cardinals Matt Stafford now dealing with some injury concerns, but they bring in von Miller. Now they bring in Odell Beckham, junior, that happened just a little while ago today. Again, in play plus money, but a bit of an uphill climb with the Cardinals playing as well as they have. So far this season also had the rams plus 7 50 to win the NFC. They're not out of it yet. I would assume that their number came down in that department. I didn't have a chance to look at it today. But there are at least again in play, I believe that around plus 7 50 to win a Super Bowl now. So I think it did get better just by that extension alone..

"Mercifully for right now. We got one more team and that wretched division to talk about in just a bit here on the GBI. So we're going to get out of the AFC south for just a little bit. I'm going to talk about the Patriots and chargers next. The Patriots 5 point dogs on the road, total 49 and it's a game where, you know, I lean the New England Patriots here. There's a huge perceived gap in ability between Mac Jones and Justin Herbert. And some of that, of course, is very well deserved. I mean Herbert has been legitimately good since he's entered the league. Mac Jones. They've kind of handled him with care so far. He's not taking a lot of risks. They aren't a high octane offense in New England. They've kind of tried to ease him into all of this. Knowing that he's a little limited out of the gate. But you look at the numbers for these guys and the Patriots are averaging more yards per attempt in the passing game than the Chargers. It's very interesting to look at it that way. And of course, again, you have to note that the actual yardage and things like that is superior for the Chargers because they're putting the ball in the air more often. But I think it's interesting to note that Mac Jones and the Patriots offense more yards per attempt than the Chargers so far. Now the charges come into this game four and two against the spread, the Patriots only three and four in that regard, but these are two pretty evenly matched teams statistically, either within a point of each other in terms of their scoring offenses, defensively the Patriots allowing around 5 points per game less and you know, offensively, yards per play identical on the season 5.7 yards per play on both sides. New England better on the defensive side. There as well. And that's not entirely unexpected, right? This is a situation where you think of these two teams as they're currently constructed. And it's pretty fair to say the Patriots better defensively charges better offensively. The question in this game, the weak strength of victory for the Patriots does that kind of tilt things a little bit in favor of the charges because you look at the games that the Chargers I'm sorry that the Patriots have won. So far the season they've beaten the jets twice and they beat Davis mills and the Texans once. And that is it. And I don't think that that's enough to talk me off of the Patriots here if I had to play this game. To me, it's I it's not quite enough to get me to go full on New England here. That 5 point number. But I think if you had to make a play, I think that the Patriots are the way to go, again, you're just you're getting a better defense. You're getting the charges team coming off the buy for the first time with staley as their head coach, how do they do that? You know that if the Patriots are coming off by, they would certainly have this immaculate game plan drawn up for Justin Herbert and company. But, you know, again, these are little factors that I think could make a difference in this game. And I think that the numbers say that the Patriots can be a lot more competitive than some people might think even though it is very tempting to take Justin Herbert and that explosive charges offense on their home field. Now let's go to the Jaguars. We said we had them still coming up in the show. And unfortunately, I wasn't lying. Here we are. Jaguars, three point dogs taking on Seahawks. It is Trevor Lawrence versus Geno Smith. They match up that never in our wildest nightmares. Did we think we would be getting total 43 and a half? By the way, Pete Carroll versus urban Meyer, a little USC versus Ohio State or Florida. I guess take your pick for urban Meyer there. But this is an interesting game and that it is very difficult to pick a winner. Because you have Jaguars coming off the buy and serve Myers first buy week in the pros, lord help the young women of the American Midwest, as we discussed last week, taking on a Seahawks team that has not yet won with Geno Smith at quarterback. However, they have been competitive. Juno Smith has covered the spread twice as a starting quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks. He did it in Pittsburgh on what was that Sunday Night football? And then on Monday Night Football, he comes out and covers the spread against saints. It wasn't pretty last week. They lost 13 to ten. Some kicking issues were really the undoing for the Seahawks, even more so than Gino Smith, but it was a game where they were in it the entire time and credit the defense of the Seattle Seahawks who have really stepped up with Geno Smith at quarterback. You look at the last two games for the Seattle defense they gave up what was it 2023 somewhere in that neighborhood against the Steelers? And then they give up 13 points in the loss to the saints. They have really stepped up, knowing that the team on offense is not going to put up the kind of numbers that they were with Russell Wilson leading them. And it's a game where, I mean, you know, you can kind of throw out a lot of the season long statistics for the Seattle Seahawks because of course they look better offensively over the course of the whole year than they do over the last couple of weeks with Geno Smith where they have averaged 15 points per game. Both of these teams, by the way, bottom 5 in time of possession, bottom 5 and third down conversion percentage. These are not offenses that are accustomed to staying on the field. I would lean the Seahawks and the under here. Geno Smith, I think could very well go to three and O against the spread. He could easily enter the teddy Bridgewater Pantheon of not great quarterbacks who managed to still cover the spread at an alarming rate. But I am not putting my eggs in either one of these baskets in this game. I have no desire to do so. By the way, Jaguars, they are hosting the Buffalo Bills next week. Good luck to them there. We could very well see another double digit point spread and the Seahawks are heading into thereby week. I would rather watch on demand versions of the WNBA. I'd rather watch WNBA reruns than watch this game. And by the way, not a knock on WNBA as I'm a big fan of it, is anybody who watched the show knows. I am just saying I'd rather not watch the Jaguars and the Seahawks. Even if I see it on red zone, I'm going to be upset. I do not want to see the game. I do not want to know what is happening as it's going on. Next, Washington football team, Denver Broncos. This is like a slightly more upscale version of Jaguars and Seahawks in my opinion. It's like you're getting the starting quarterbacks that are a little bit better than the Jaguars and Seahawks and what they have to offer, but it's still not a game that's very attractive. The Broncos three point favorites at home, total 44. And, you know, I lean toward the Broncos this game, but again not one that I'm trying to get involved with a lot of injury concerns going in offensively for the Washington football team..

Samat all the wwe's tag-team allow that like you said this week we're gonna talk about nfl week four. We're gonna talk about thursday night football i. We will get through every single game on the schedule. Of course if you wanna weigh in on your thoughts from the betty markets on any of the games you hit a chat box twitter or youtube. Ellery watch the show. We certainly appreciate doing so people. It's always anytime time year. Let's get straight into thursday night football. Jacksonville jaguars seven point dogs on the road. Taking on the cincinnati bengals total set around forty six and trevor lawrence. To say the least vivo. He is not looked good. Do you think that continues tonight. Do you think that they get blown out. Do you think the bengals sprite. Anything happens you. I came to my mind when i looked at. This game is that this is a major emotional let for cincinnati coming off a big win at the rival steelers on a really match they dominate in for god knows how long now so when i look at that right away i think it cincinnati could come out a little bit flat specially off in that game but to your point on trevor lawrence. He has not look very good. He has thrown the most inspections in the nfl. So far this year of any places style that it you know if you're looking to make up points like if you wanna get back door. He's not a bad option for because they're not afraid. Eddie mair it out like you see a lotta rookie quarterback's they still only let them throw. Maybe twenty twenty times game. Trevor lawrence. He's capable of throwing it fifty times a game. Urban meyer doesn't have a problem letting it out. Letting him do that. And he's got a lot of great receivers out there with a dj chart. He's got the viscous chenault out there so it's not like he's got a shortage of weapons to do it. When i look at this game to mean screams a game that that back door could be creek it up. You can open a little bit towards the end especially for the jacksonville team. Net is now desperate for. Yeah this is another one of these thursday night games being talked about it last week. With shark on the gbi. Show here that it's a game. I'm glad is on thursday night. So i can watch the wnba playoffs instead. I have no interest in consuming this game in any form or fashion. And yeah i think you're right. The back door could be opened here. But i'm i'm afraid to get involved at all especially with the jacksonville defense. Being the way it is here. Yes i agree. it's a letdown spot potentially for the bengals but the jaguars are allowing yard and a half more per. Play the season angles. And yes you can compare the opponents and all that they played. Kyle mary last week. Which is always gonna wrap your yards per play loud. But this jack's defense is bad and they're being put into bad situations by warren's seven interception so far this season for lawrence only zach wilson. Has that many as well. No other quarterback league more than four. So i'm going to happily go sit the escape out a back door open. I do not wanna. I don't wanna jiggle handle. That's my blast sophy king. I think the owner could be a decent spot here considering back as you mentioned the jags defense. Not very good We seem primetime games. This year hidden over at an astronomical rape this year. And i really liked the way. The bengals progressing. Joe boroughs gaining a regaining. Chemistry with lsu tiger team may jomar chase and the fact that lawrence continues to put them in bad situations where given the bengals short fields. I think you're gonna see jacksonville playing a little bit of catch-up especially in the middle later parts of the game which could result in more More opportunities the bengals scoreboard. Also more opportunity for jacksonville to really take some risks and push the ball down the field which usually equals point one way or another so over six not terribly you know. I looked this game before the season started. And i adopted. Potentially the bus bowl tween borough and trevor lawrence. I am obligated now to admit that Joe borough does not fall into the bus category at this time has been playing very well and i regret the error as last season. All over. the. Joe borough is a bus train before he got hurt so Just to just to set the record straight just to be transparent here. I was wrong about joe for us. Now bebo let's move onto the sunday slate and just try and move this jacksonville. Cincinnati situation out of our memory entirely. Let's bow to the washington football team. A one point favorite taking on the atlanta falcons total forty seven and a half. Washington has been brutal defensively. So far this the falcons. They've kinda took turns struggling on each side of the ball throughout the year. Which side do you think comes out on top of this. I think is a game that As you mentioned the washington football team has played very subpar They had they tough one. Losing patrick in week one With against the chargers and since then they really haven't really establish stat chemistry in that. Good play under taylor. Heineke a very fortunate to not have a waiting period season Especially with that Against the new york giants with the offsides dexter lawrence. I do think though the with the way the books are looking at this. This is a one point. Spread with the teen of probably. Shouldn't have a win against a team. Who was probably by most accounts going to be a bottom by team in the nfl this year. In the atlanta falcons especially math matt ryan regressing losing. Julio jones favorite target.

Brewers, Ryan Whippy and Longmont discussed on Colorado's Morning News with April Zesbaugh and Marty Lenz
"To say seventy three degrees. Maybe inside the convention center in here. The site last night of GAB f night number one number two tonight. It runs through tomorrow night. Great American beer festival. Features four thousand beers, eight hundred sixty two thousand people over three days and a lot of those brewers come from our own state, like Longmont based witty brewing. They're pouring beer here at the festival president and brew master Ryan whippy is with us live. Good morning morning. Thanks for having me on you bet. How was last night super fun? Thursday nights. Always hectic getting are booths set up which I can see from right here, and we decorated with bunch of flamingos and lights going and our big disco ball. So once you got the lights on it was super fun and everybody enjoyed it. You know before we got in the area. I April asked how you're doing. He said it's a marathon not a sprint because you have to kind of pace yourself for for these next couple of days. Exactly. There's so many great beers here. And so many great breweries. It's a great time. Just meeting up with old friends and trying something new you guys won a medal for one of your beers last year. Hopefully, we're going to taste it here in the next. I know we're going to taste a few beers coming up in the next test. Why she's looking through you sounded good with chocolate and cocoa nibs. But how what does it mean for a brief period? And what did it mean for you? So we wanna silver for moon Dunkel last year. And it was the most amazing thing I've ever I lost my voice for like three days screaming so loud, and it just really kind of validated. The beer that we've been making for a long time. Then you get engaged to. And then we got engaged on stage, and I propose to my fiancee, Robin. And that's why you lost your voice. Yeah. Exactly. And then the gbi f- became our big engagement party. You know, ten thousand people you obviously want to have success. But I'm sure you don't go into it saying, well, I want to win a medal. It's about probably finding in making something that you're proud of that people like in taste good. And then the byproduct is the metal right? That's just something that tops the the cake. I guess exactly. There's so many great beers out there. It's really hard to win a medal these days. And so the fact that we won something was really great. But we just love making beer and something that tastes good that we enjoy. Yeah. It's so you must be so proud and heart and to see all the Colorado brewers that are, of course, there at an event like this because it's in their own backyard. But we don't you think we stand out as a state for beer when you compare it to other states, I think so we have just great beer here. Great water. The Rocky Mountain water is perfect for making great beer. And then we're the, you know, the state of craft beer where everything really started in boulder with the brewers association and Charlie pays, Ian. And it kind of blew blossomed into this huge fest in create culture that we have know you guys compete against each other because you want to sell your brand. But. The collaboration. I see is quite impressive to y'all kind of. There's a brotherhood sisterhood of y'all working together. And in you, all love each other and each other's product and work effort work efforts. And that's the best part. We get the share our work with each other. We're Bruin beers together. Sharing ideas, different flavors and types of beer. We wanna make then, you know, beer supposed to be fun. So we get to sit down and have a beer with our fellow brewers. We are going to have a beer with you. And it'll be fun in about five minutes. Okay. Dawson, stay right there. Ryan from Whitby brewing out
