The CDC Doesn't Know Enough About Coronavirus In Tribal Nations

"In August more than five months into the pandemic Jordan. Bennett. was about to see some data she'd waiting for for a long time. Yeah. No a truly I was really excited because there hasn't been any data on American Indians or Alaska natives since the start of the pandemic from the CDC that's right. Until last month while universities had released a good bit of data about Covid and its effect on some. Native, American and Alaskan natives. The CDC really hadn't Jordan would know she's a reporter and editor with the Public Media News organization Indian country today she's also a citizen of the Navajo nation and she's been covering the pandemic since the beginning as well as a twenty twenty census and all of Indian, country no big deal just all of Indian country Yeah. The whole. That data that she'd been waiting to? was released by the government as part of a weekly CDC report in mid August the title of the top red. COVID nineteen among American Indian and Alaska Native Persons in twenty three states and when i read it, it was Kinda already something that I knew and a lot of native public health experts already knew and what I was really looking for is you know what is new that they gave to us the report said because of existing inequities, native Americans and Alaskan natives are three point five times more likely to get the corona virus than white people but anyone who'd been looking at tribal nations as closely as Jordan had could have told you that they were. Being hit especially hard for example, at one point earlier this year, the Navajo nation, which spans parts of Arizona New Mexico and Utah The nation's now reporting nearly four thousand in nineteen cases in a population of one hundred, seventy, five thousand had an infection rate greater the New York State. Eight PM curfews on weekdays and on weekends a fifty seven hour lockdown, not even the gas stations are open. That was just one tribal nation that got a lot of attention. Many others had infection rates that were also higher than the hard hit states in the northeast like the Colorado River Indian tribes in Arizona and California the Yakima in Washington state or the White Mountain Apache tribe in Arizona. And data from the states where many of those reservations are located weren't included in the CDC report, which gets it a larger problem. If there's data had you know where the impact is, how do you know where you could send testing to where there's a lack testing? You have to have that data in order to create policies into also figured out how to distribute vaccines. This episode was the CDC does and doesn't know about Covid in native American and Alaskan. Native tribal nations and how Jordan is working to get more data to the people who need it most I mattie Safai and you're listening to shortwave from NPR. This report from the CDC which linked to in our episode notes does say two important things. The fact that native Americans and Alaskan natives are more likely to get the virus. That's one. The second thing is that compared to white people young folks in those communities people under eighteen tested positive at higher rates. When it comes to these findings, the CDC did make one thing clear. Here's one of the researchers on the study, Sarah Hatcher it really important that the. This disproportionate impact. Likely driven by versus stinks social and economic inequity not because of some biological or genetic. Persisting social and economic inequities we're talking about access to healthy food housing income levels, stuff like that. Here's Jordan again the and other just like public health infrastructure or in like the lack of investment in the public health infrastructures in native communities and you have over credit households, anders a number of inequities that this pandemic is bringing out. More on that in a bit. But first Jordan says that the CDC report is notable for what it does not include this report did leave out tons of cases right now it only looked at twenty three states and it didn't include Arizona. Is One of the hot spots in Indian country. And they account for at least a third of all the cove nineteen cases according to the report. They also left out states like Oklahoma Washington. California Colorado thousands and thousands of cases. And researchers from the CDC were up front about leaving all that data out. Here's Sara Hatcher. Again, our announcement is really not generalize beyond those twenty three state overall. And we're not really able to speculate whether we expect the overall rate to be higher or lower we. The reason some states got left out was because the they recorded about race and ethnicity including that for native, American, and Alaskan Native Cova Cases was incomplete and that was really at least surprising to me because. I like how can you not capture this data right here you have Arizona where you know again, the Salt River Pima, Maricopa Indian community Healer River, ending community, White Mountain Apache their cases are thousands You had the tone, nation and Navajo Nation and the possibly Yawkey tribe. There's just thousands of cases in this one St. So many gaps like in this data as well. I think just points to how the CDC doesn't really know tribal communities and know that Indian health system and how it's built instead up. So, let's talk about that. Now. It's much more complicated than this. But basically, when tribal nation signed treaties giving up their land, the federal government promised to provide them with healthcare and set up the Indian Health Service, a government funded network of hospitals and clinics. To deliver adequate healthcare to tribal nations but that's not what's happening right now and what the pandemic is very much highlighting. For years the IHS has been way underfunded per person the federal government spends about half the amount of money on the IHS. Medicaid. And that's part of the reason a lot of tribes over time have step to establish their own privately run tribal health clinics. So throw history. They all IHS. But then tribes wanted to you know take hold and own and operate their own healthcare. So that's how these tribal health clinics came about. At this point, the large majority of healthcare facilities are operated by tribes about eighty percent in those facilities are encouraged but not required to share data that they collect on the virus but Jordan says, that's something a lot of them do not want to do not with the federal government or even with reporters like her even now as a Navajo WOM-. In as a Navajo reporter, it's also difficult for me to try to get the data. Because then I understand that like I grew up around my background is in health and so I I know you know it's because of settler colonialism but also research to a lot of times and medical research you have researchers going in parachuting in parachuting out and they don't give back that data it at least from everything that I've seen the past several months trust is like the main factor in this That's one thing trust. There's also the reality that doctors can get race or ethnicity wrong in California where it's pretty prevalent from what sources tell me some doctors will just check a box on native people because of their surname, their surnames, more likely to be coming from like a Hispanic or line next or origin like Dominguez or Garcia or you know today's assumed there Um Latin x but they're not, and if those people wind up dying that seem incorrect data can wind up on their death certificate right? You don't know what's going on or the pact of the pandemic if you don't have that data if you don't know what the person died from. How are you going to prevent it and prevent more from dying from it? These factors lack of trust underfunded public health infrastructure, racial classification all add up to a picture of the pandemic that isn't complete. For example, there's an alarming lack of covid hospitalizations data for native American or Alaskan native folks stuff like if somebody was admitted to the hospital, the ICU or even died compared to white people, CDC only has about a third of that information for Alaskan natives and native Americans and I think that's just again it just goes back to how well you know the state health department or even like the CDC or the public health experts they're not these tribal communities

Miami Heat Beat Boston Celtics 125-113 To Advance To NBA Finals

"Puerto Bow on the season for the Boston Celtics somewhat disappointing ending I guess it's always disappointing especially if you're affiliated with the Boston, Celtics if you don't raise that championship trophy at. The end of the year, there were some bright spots, Jalen. Brown played pretty well on Sunday night. He had twenty six points in only seventeen shots on scale. Few things stood out. As you mentioned, Daniel Types really struggled to guard Bam out of bio during that crucial stretch in the fourth quarter and then Gordon Hayward I thought he came off a significant injury. He left the bubble for the birth of his child on scale. He looked a little sub part of me. He wasn't quite as energetic locked himself on Sunday night and I think the Celtics needed him to be that in order to have a chance to beat this Miami.

Bills rally to beat Rams 35-32 after blowing 25-point lead

"The bills. Blew a twenty five point lead on Sunday and lived to tell the tale. The bills happily received the gift of questionable Pi call on fourth down. Then won the game on a Josh Allen to Tyler. Crop Hook up with fifteen seconds to play final score thirty, five, thirty, two. Wow Greg the rams came this close to a comeback for the ages. Only let victory slip away. They left too much time on the clock. When you come back from twenty three, you got a time that final touchdown just to go to overtime and then win the coin flip, which is probably the only way. The Rams Defense was GONNA get a stop in a big moment here because Josh Allen. Did. It all in this game in terms of the rollercoaster, the the whole experience they had nine possession and they and they scored five touchdowns. So I don't want to hear anything about the bills offense being in any way let down now he helped set up the comeback with a couple of turnovers, one of which came on a very questionable call, but was also a terrible throw by Alan. So yeah, he was at some fall Aaron Donald took over the game as Donald Does but my big takeaway is that the bills are an offensive team you WANNA get on part of their team. For blowing the lead, get on the defense I I look at them more as a team. That's GonNa make mistakes offensively as we saw here and there but that had to third and twenty three situations with the game on the line and they wound up converting the both they got one into a four, thousand nine. They got that questionable call as you mentioned Dan and and if they didn't get it, we'd be talking about how they blew this game but I still. As. A global view. Take a look at this bills team in think this offense is really dangerous and Alan's going to have some ups and downs but the conversion that they've had into an offense that can score over thirty regularly is massive and they are gonna be a tough team to beat when that's the case One thing stuck out to me was the uproar over the the controversial call at the end of the game and to be honest I caught a lot of this game. The only reason the rams were in the game was because of a bad call in their favour in which there was a simultaneous possession interception, which was clearly caught by the offensive player, and then once they hit the ground was wrestled out of his hands by the defensive player was a horrible call and they tried to defend it afterwards, our river on did and. It didn't make any sense when he tried to defend it either terrible throw though two and they gave up four touchdowns in four possessions very quickly. I think it's giving the rams a little too little credit's saying that's the only reason. It was definitely a turning point but it was a bad decision by Alan and more more to the point the rams offense started cooking. In the third and fourth quarters I hated that call. It's funny. We just started this show talking about how referees are keeping the flags in their pockets that to me at the end of the game there and I I know L. River on got behind his boy there. But that seemed very ticky tack with the game on the line to call that. But you know at that happens ultimately I think if you're the rams. Yeah. You're smarting from that call but also there are two third in forever's that they had right the bill. And all you gotTa do is make stop and that was you know that was to opportunities they had and they and they let it go by the boards and that is a credit to Allen I didn't get a chance to see this game. So I can't really say too much about it other than. His ability to just move this team up and down the field for three straight weeks, he is passed for three hundred yards. In, three straight weeks and they are averaging I believe four hundred and thirty yards. Total yards per game and thirty one points per game through three weeks, which is obviously franchise records across the board. There's something special happening with his offer.

Trump's tax revelation, what are the highlights?

"Donald J trump paid seven hundred and fifty dollars in federal income taxes the year he won the presidency in his first year in the White House he paid another seven hundred and fifty dollars. He had paid no income taxes at all in ten of the previous fifteen years largely because he reported losing much more money than he made. So that's the lead. In this is in reporting from New York Times Sunday afternoon by investigative reporters Russ Butner Suzanne Craig, and Mike Macintyre now Russell Suzanne incidentally or two of the three that dropped the huge story on trump's finances in October of two thousand, eighteen ahead of the midterm elections. and that was fueled by the financial documents provided by Mary trump who is now suing the president and his siblings by the way for defrauding her out of millions of dollars. But back to today's story from the New York Times quote. The New York Times has obtained tax return data extending over more than two decades for Mr Trump and the hundreds of companies that make up his business organization including detailed information from his first two years in office. It does not include his personal returns for two, thousand, eighteen or twenty nineteen. This article offers an overview of times findings. Additional articles will be published in the coming weeks. So this one, hundred and ninety two paragraph long story is an overview of the times findings. this is the sparks notes the abridged version the Reader's digest abridged story. And I'm GonNa go over the key highlights with you. Hundred Ninety two paragraphs is the overview of what they found. And they're going to be releasing multiple stories in coming weeks for details about what they've uncovered an important caveat here by their very nature, the filings will leave many questions on answered. These tax returns that they got many questions will be unfulfilled. They comprise information that Mr. Trump has disclosed to the irs not the findings of an independent financial examination they report the trump owns hundreds of millions of dollars in valuable assets, but they do not reveal his true wealth nor do they reveal any previously on reported connection to Russia? This kind of makes sense why Sivan's needs the documents, right These data simply report revenue not profit in two, thousand eighteen for example, trump announced his disclosure in his disclosure that he had made at least four, hundred, thirty, four, point, nine, million dollars. The tax records deliver a very different portrait of his bottom line forty seven point four, million dollars in losses. So he announced his disclosure, he made four hundred and thirty, five million. In here it says he lost forty seven point four million. To that's what he filed his taxes as. All of the information that times obtain was provided by sources with legal access to it. So we can. Try to guess. WHO This to the New York Times prior to the election maybe somebody on the case who knew that the case wouldn't be Sort of we wouldn't see any fruits of that until after the election. I don't know I'd be guessing. These tax data examined. by The Times, provide a roadmap of revelations from write offs for the cost of criminal defense lawyer a mansion used by the family retreat to a full accounting of the millions of dollars that the president received from the twenty thirteen Miss Universe pageant in Moscow. So that's kind of a Russian dealing. The apprentice may trump a total of four, hundred, twenty, seven, point, four, million, which he then invested in a collection of businesses that we're failing mostly golf courses. They steadily devour cash much as the money he secretly received from his father the and how that financed spree of quixotic overspending that led to his collapse in the ninety. the picture that perhaps emerges most starkly from the mountain of figures and tax schedules prepared by Mr Trump's accountants accountants. MAZAAR. Clue. Probably got this from the Manhattan Da Somebody there. This is the picture that emerges starkly is of a businessman president in a tightening financial vice. Most of trump's core enterprises from his constellation of golf courses to conservative magnet. Hotel in Washington I guess it draws conservatives. They all report losing millions if not tens of millions of dollars year after year. His revenue from the apprentice and from licensing deals drying up and several years ago he sold nearly all the stocks that now might have helped him plug holes in his struggling properties and tax looms. And within the next four years more than three, hundred, million in loans and obligations for which he's personally responsible personally will come do. Over the next four years. And these records show the actual and potential conflicts of interest created by trump's refusal to divest himself of his business interest. While in the White House his properties have become havens for collecting money directly from lobbyists, foreign officials, and others seeking facetime access or favors. The record for the first time, put precise dollar figures on these transactions. Here's some examples at the Mar, a Lago Club, a flood of new members starting in two thousand fifteen allowed him to pocket an additional five, million a year from the business people paying for access at his Durrell Golf Course in Miami. The roofing materials manufacturer GIF spent at least one point, five, million in two, thousand, eighteen even has as its industry was lobbying the trump administration to rollback egregious federal regulations conflict. In two thousand Seventeen Billy Graham vandalistic association paid about four hundred thousand dollars to the Washington Hotel where the group held at least one event during its four day World Summit in defense of persecuted Christians. Then when he took office Mr Trump said he would pursue no new foreign deals as president. Even. So in his first two years in the White House is revenue from abroad till seventy three, million dollars. And while much of that money was from his golf properties in Scotland and Ireland some came from licensing deals in countries with authoritarian leaning leaders or thorny geopolitics. For example, three million from Deteriora- from the Philippines two point three, million from India and one million from Turkey. Now the data also contains. Revelations about the one hundred, thirty, thousand dollars payment to Stephanie Clifford Stormy Daniels. The, which is one of the focuses of the Manhattan da Subpoena for trump's tax returns. Another financial information another clue that that might be where they got this. However. They say that it has no new revelations, but there is kind of a revelation because trump has acknowledged reimbursing cohen. Who made the? Payoff. But the materials obtained by The Times did not include any itemize payments to Cohen. The amount however could have been improperly included in legal fees written off as a business expense which are not required to be itemized tax returns that says to me. That trump. Didn't make the payoff where he would have had to have itemize it. Which says to me. It was improperly recorded. As a business transaction. At for legal fees, which is another thing to Manhattan as looking at. Business fraud. Falsifying business documents. Now, no subject has provoked more intense speculation about trump's finances than his connections to Russia while the tax records revealed no previously unknown financial connection and for the most part lack specificity required to do. So they did shed light on the money behind the two thousand thirteen Miss Universe pageant in Moscow at the subject of Enduring Intrigue Because of subsequent investigations into Russia's interference in two thousand sixteen. So basically what the time saying here is that there's nothing itemized here about Russia, but there wouldn't be because it's not required to be in tax returns but boy, did we see something interesting about the? Miss Universe Pageant in twenty thirteen. The records show that the pageant was the most profitable Miss Universe during trump's time is co owner and that generated a personal payday of two point three million dollars made possible by the Aguilara F- family at least in part who would later help set up the infamous twenty sixteen trump tower meeting. For. Officials seeking dirt on Clinton with Veselnitskaya who is now we know connected directly to the Kremlin. The record show that in two thousand thirteen to paget reported thirty one point six, million in gross receipts. That's the highest since at least the nineties allowing trump and his co owner NBC's split the profits of four point seven million by comparison trump and NBC lost two million on the deal the year before. Moscow and made three point eight million from the one the year after. So it appears the Russia one. Made money and made a lot of money a lot more money than it ever has before. So did. Russia overpaid trump for this event. Wonder why? In Two thousand, thirteen?

Belichick reaches milestone as Patriots top Raiders 36-20

"Everyone is time for the bonus episode postgame recap for Vegas Nation podcast. I'm your host Heidi Fang and I'm joined with our readers writers, Ed Greenie, Adam. Hill we're going to break down what happened here in the Raiders Lost Thirty six to twenty against the New England Patriots here Gillette Stadium in Foxborough at an ir up in the press box Adam back in Vegas a from my vantage point it was. A lot of mistakes made by the raiders, which is something you can't do against the bill belichick coach team. So we're GONNA get all into that here but I I want to remind everybody that we are brought to you by Salmon Ash, indeed visa and also favor. So make sure to subscribe wherever you're listening and what was your first take on what you saw out in the field today with the raiders. You're right. They did everything you can't do and win on the road or anywhere turn the ball over three times. Once rent on. Didn't protect car when they were driving. Me fumbled the Fumble Alina Game Matter Games already overby fumbled the end zone. In the second half, they just wore down defensively I actually done the first thirty minutes be interested at him. I think thought the first thirty minutes they played. As good. A defense as they haven't a while let's be honest. Thirteen points here cam help them a lot. He wasn't any third, but they were down on the second Apple Sikhism Derek. Carr in the offense couldn't stand field. He gave up two hundred and fifty yards total rushing late Sony Michelle when expert in its players per talking, you know these of League so they were down and they just couldn't match. Match up. So a bad game they printed everything you can do and what on the road so Adam how much in fact that these running bags like just through the defense offered their game because I don't think they were looking to contain the likes of three different running backs in this one I think they prepared to contain Cam Newton? What was your thoughts on the running game? I think I was definitely a part of it and I think there was definitely adjustments made. By the Patriots coaching staff because as as ED put out for the first half of the, Patriots were able to run the ball somewhat. But I thought a it wasn't. There wasn't those explosive plays. There wasn't those big plays downfield and it was a kind of picking up some yards here. They're moving the ball effectively but not really gashing the raiders defense and then. They figured out something in the run game after halftime and I'll be interested to find out the later in the week. Interested to get the the all twenty two film comes out like Tuesday. Look a little what happened but I think just at first glance without really looking into what they were doing on the line maybe differently. They definitely started to go to some more cutback plays where they I thought really were able to take advantage of some over pursuit of the writer side in particular from Jonathan Abram, who you know, we know what he can do. In terms just flying around offensively and having people would kind of sending a message for that defense but at the same time. You can use that aggression against him and I think the Patriots kind of figure that out a little bit and it really hit him with a big plays on a place where he got into the gap, he was near the bulk area but just couldn't make up Adams exactly right and and they're going to have to here's the thing about a player John Neighbor might think they love is aggressiveness in his hitting all that he's got a swagger Jim and I. Hate to say this, but sometimes, you just have to you have to balance that it's hard to tell a guy like that. Don't play this way but Adams wait we should for resod against Christian McCaffrey, over pursues too much when you take the battling new pursue Sunny Michelle Christian McCaffrey, they're gonNA come back will go so Yeah. They just didn't play the run wellness second atoms right they adjusted and you have to give Michelle credit like I said when you go For, an average of thirteen yards of Kerry and I don't know if he's ever average per carry more than seven in a games and you also have saved in job I am. But they did they didn't play offensively were out of rhythm Waller. We'll talk about that I know atoms writing thoughts. Darren WELLM was non factor when you get a lot of good at the bill Belgium at he talked about. How good daring waller as well. Guess what he must have died because they ran every defense coverage double team run in stem and stopped him. So atom I know you you wrote about this mean, what did you hear the game to her? How they? You know bottle up there wall I thought it was a group effort I. think that's what of expected to hear from the Patriots Bill. Belichick obviously didn't go into detail about what he did. I think it was just a lot of deception what they were doing offensively disguising it and Bella check pointed out. Hey, it wasn't somebody covering him necessarily a lot of zone. We played a lot of you know bracket coverage a lot of. Men under there was a lot of different things. Defensively. On Waller but I think it was more just about the looks of they're giving up the line and never letting the raiders. No. Before the play what kind of coverage is GonNa be on Waller? Want Credit Anybody I. Think mccourty would be the one that you would like added. Say. Devin mccourty that Dinnie. Tremendous job on him but it was a little bit of everybody kind of in the mixer.

Bars & Nightclubs Back In Business Following Gov. Ron DeSantis’ Executive Order, Miami-Dade Restaurants To Open At 50% Capacity

Why you should take more photos, not less

"And you know what you need to take more pictures really you do. I learned this the hard way believe it or not I've been going through my closets. This weekend I was trying to find some photos from the pre digital era. And all I could find was of a specific instance, one roll of black and white triax film. There was snapped during this specific place that I want to get pictures of. And Shame on me for not being, more proactive. So I should've taken more a lot more but I started thinking about it and realized look at how far we've come folks back then I'm the nine hundred and eighty s you had a choice of pro level thirty, five millimeter cameras which were hard to operate for most people disposable cardboard cameras had just begun appearing, but they were only used for special occasions places with great light. So for everyday life, most of us never bothered and compare that to now where everyone you know has a camera in their pocket and you can ask anyone to grab a shot of you with no issues they know what to do. And the smartphone cameras are so darn good. They can shoot in pretty much any kind of light and they have exif information built into the file. So when you look up stuff. You know exactly where you took it. You knew what time you knew what day I mean it's pretty amazing. So. For those of you listening today who might be in this position maybe ten years from now where you want to get pictures from twenty twenty some friendly. Where's the vice take more photos? You can never take enough and back them

Interview with Crime Writer Tom Vater: S. 6, Ep. 7 - burst 1

"My assumption is that you started with journalism in went into crime writing, but that beaker. Well actually. So happened hand in hand because. The first Arctic rival road for newspaper wasn't one, thousand, nine, hundred, Ninety, seven. A paper in in Nepal and while I was there. I started thinking about rising my first novel, the Devil's Road to cap on do which then eventually came out in two thousand four. So it kind of happened at the same time but. But I I would say that you know between the pieces of fiction I right there along gaps for professional reasons and so Leap. Most of the time I have a day job. I do journalism and when I have some months often I can sit down and write a novel. So you're primarily a journalist who also does crime rate. Yeah you could say that I also own a a small publishing. House. crimewave press, which is a crime fiction imprint based in Hong Kong, which does mostly e books published about thirty two titles by. All sorts of oldest many of them from the US. So that's that's my Gig. So I, I kind of do three different things. I'm a crime fiction writer I I'm a very small press publisher with just one Papa and For crime, fiction novels in a bunch of short stories. And interested in the fact that you do so much stuff Most interested in in in the notion of of journalists going into this sort of thing because it tradition of journalists going into to fiction writing is historically something I've always been kind of intrigued by which is why I majored in journalism actually because of my interest in writing and in fiction general What made you choose crime fiction in particular as genre. There's probably several things. One is Zora fiction kind of makes it easy to because it's got many established rules and tropes and. Conventions and and so in that sense, it's it's quite conservative. You as a writer, there's another things to hold onto when you're writing your first novel because it has to go away. If you're GONNA follow crime fiction conventions if you write literary fiction, it's it seems at least to me when I was in my twenties, it seemed much disorienting and I didn't know how Radia how I would do that character development always stuff. But in in crime fiction, you know you have set in stock characters and set. Ways the plots develop and and and end in the end. So so I felt seventy with my best novel, the Devil's role to Kathmandu that I wanted to just ride to a sort of. Conventional Adventure story you know with. it's it's the story of four young guys who in nineteen, seventy five hit the hippie trail between between London Kathmandu and drive a van from London to come do an on the way they they. They make a drug deal that goes horribly wrong. And Is Disappears with the money. Mail saying how? Do and get your shouts the money. So that it's it's like a classic kind of adventure story that I wanted to create an I just how that. All Crime Fiction Travel Zara which would be the easiest way of turning that into a reality.

US House Democrats Crafting New $2.2 Trillion COVID-19 Relief Package

"House. Democrats are preparing smaller corona virus for the leaf package. All right. So it's a trillion dollars less than their last proposal, but a trillion dollars more than what Republicans are ready to do. So they split. That More, but roughly, so they split the difference source tells us that the two point four trillion dollar package would include enhanced unemployment insurance stimulus checks, small business loans, and aid to airlines, and it says here you can talk to the right or the price tag is still about a trillion dollars more than the Republicans latest offer. But. But thought the skinny deal was something like seven or eight, hundred, billion dollars trillion dollars. Rounding now I think and I. Know They are in Congress Lana rounding lot around rounding going on. In fact, they probably call this isn't there I mean if you're. Just, a couple of hundred billion. So why not round that around? That's right well like we really have to pay. Right it the idea that it looks like they're getting closer together but not really I, mean, they're still talking about a massive difference between the two sides and I don't think there's much chance Manuchehr yesterday they're ready to restart talks but didn't give a timetable for any of that and I don't see how this happens before the election I just don't. Probably not and. I think both it's weird because I think. I mean you saw Goldman Sachs yesterday for for GDP for not the third quarter but for the fourth quarter from six to three. Based on. You know not having prospects for more stimulus so I can tell you that. The election will be over but I think the administration would like six percent a lot more to be able to brag about that although we're going to get that flash number for third quarter which should be. Twenty plus. like two weeks before a week and a half before the election. So you're going to hear how great debt is biggest-ever I guess twenty, three, twenty, four percents we heard from Brian Moynihan yesterday who said that you should have additional aid, but it should be targeted the Democrats in this latest thing that they've put forth still have payments going directly to people you know payments across the board president trump has mentioned that be something he'd be interested in but I think it. Makes a lot of sense and and this is something you would probably hear from most of the Republicans with the smaller in the Senate with the smaller package that they've signed off on the idea of sending a blank check to ever sending a check to everybody regardless of whether or not you've been impacted on this. We'll probably pass the time of needing to do something like that. You need to get it to the businesses into the people who are suffering the most right now. Yes greed agreed.

"g. twenty" Discussed on The Empty Bowl

"The new buds began bloom on the vines and leaves. I'm not a garden person. I'm a serial person my Justin Macaroni and I am a serial enthusiast. And I'm Dan Bear I`Ma cereal caretaker of sorts And these serial gardens of ours. I like to to shape every bowl into a nice topiary garden. Depicting various mass. Contin animals Es Dan you could say is sort of a in the secret garden of the dicken. That's the leading. They're showing us with things are with welcome to the Empty Ball. It's a meditative podcast about serial no matter the condition of the world around you and you're listening to this we would ask or perhaps invite you because it is here call. Just relax for twenty to thirty minutes and give yourself permission to think of nothing but cereal and maybe pop tarts. We also pop tarts. I hope that will not upset the waste too much So let's begin Things are I as one might assume A little slow in terms of new products hitting the shelves. And what have you but we still got news coming down. The river real pipeline So first things first and probably most exciting to me at least would be a a new addition to the lucky charms multi versa flavors So if you follow lucky charms news religiously as as you probably should You would surmise that for the most part new announcements in this family of cereals generally tend to surround new marshmallow shapes which which well aesthetically appealing tend to not impact the flavor in any sense which is which is fine. I mean lucky. Terms doesn't always need improving but After the last year's introduction of Ferdie lucky charms which was kind of an abysmal by my and my perspective we are getting another new flavor for twenty twenty and that is lucky. Charms with honey clovers. these look good. Yeah I think so as well. And that's mainly due to one word on the box and it's not honey. It's out non so the problem with chocolate. Lucky charms and fruity looking terms alike. Is that? They switched to cornflower for those. And I don't know why I can't possibly can see why you would take the the bread and butter of lucky charms cereal and replace it with a hollow serrated substitute but maybe they heard our complaints because Haute is returning for lucky charms behind clovers. And I believe that since we're already talking about the makers of honey nut cheerios. They can probably do no wrong. Here yeah It it's IT'S INTERESTING. Corn certainly has its place but it is cheaper as I understand it the show so a lot of people defaulting to corn when they when they're launching new products. Yeah I would I would say carn. Has Its place. In in cereals that claimed to be corn forward like The quaker corn squares which are very much love or corn flakes now cornflakes as a corn pop pop this a single corn pop one kernel of corn that has been puffed up to a large degree. Is that accurate? I don't know for sure I personally my head. Ken Is that they take a piece of popcorn. And sort of industrially turn it inside out That seems to make the most sense to me. In terms of the aerated insights compared to the buttery outsides. Now we'll have to walk to do a little research and look into that Those good the try What's What else what else is headed our way off. So this announcement came to me largely out of nowhere but it is Kellogg's jumbo snacks. And let me. Let me articulate that even on this very chill podcast. I can't say it as it is branded because jumbo. Snacks is all in capital letters I Will Not Yeldham to you but you can. You can imagine in your head that the main excitement here is supposed to be that. This is a snack. Cereal As opposed to normal serial Burrell. It will be to shove my hand into a box and take a handful of dry cereal out and shoveled into my ma all hours of the day. What a what. A novel treat. Well don't don't hope too hard because there's no boxes involved here. These are just pouches They have a smaller size. That is not receivable as well as a larger one that is but they are launching these Kellogg's jumbo snacks. I guess says a way to like address the fact that so many people eat cereal or eat breakfast. Sorry on the go. Yeah but they've taken four of their iconic cereal brands and blown them up to larger sizes to make them. I don't know I don't know the right word. But it's exit frosted flakes corn POPs and fruit loops. Remind me kind of of I know we've talked about fingers. Yeah for which were these bizarre. Like very large pieces of cereal. That were designed for for snacking It strikes me as something. That's a better set piece for like an action. Figure Diorama for any anything. Yeah but I wonder. What's interesting though? Is You look at these four flavors and for the most part they they do some things a little bit different so the fruit loops. One is the most straightforward. There doesn't seem to be any change to the the classic formulation of fruit loops but apple. Jacks at least from the package photo that I have is only including orange rings this time around which I guess when you consider the overall flavor profile. Applejack so it's always been a bit of mystery because historically speaking there weren't actually apple ingredients in it And I don't know why they ended Apple Jacks when it really tasted like cinnamon but in recent years. They've brought apple actually back into the mix so I'm uncertain whether this jumbos next version will focus mainly on cinnamon or if it will just be one less color. But we move onto the frosted flakes version and Kellogg's very wisely decided not to include like corn. Chips sized frosted flakes big flake. The instead are giving us tiger paws so I if you've had cheetos paws before specifically the the skeleton variety the white Cheddar that they release around October tied. It looks a lot like those and I can only imagine. They taste like puffed sugar. Yeah Yeah they do actually some Some sweet cheetos now to Sweden does Sweden does. Yeah I did you. Did you ever have the sweet does Slushy drink now. What it was like a a cinnamon slurpy type not officially slurpee. But it was sweet does branded and it was purple and it was not very good but sounds sounds. Yeah yeah it was a hit? It was a hidden amiss. But I think the most interesting part of this jumbo snacks quartet is the corn POPs inclusion actually because these are any ordinary corn pops these caramel crunch corn POPs. That's interesting I wonder why the that there is particularly interesting because corn. Pops is a serial that is not very often. Get Limited edition varieties. The last one that we saw was very much a rarity in itself and that was chocolate. Peanut butter corn POPs. Which even that was just a recreation of an older formulation so the fact that they're deciding to debut caramel corn POPs which should really be a no brainer and this obscure jumbo snacks. Format does really feels. Like a Betamax exclusive movie. Release or something. I will say though I think sometimes when you eat corn POPs dry. There is a little bit of like an unpleasant. I don't WanNa say like to say like metallic or bitterness. But like that's probably going too far but there's a slight unpleasant note. I think if you're eating at Dr versus like having the milt to balance things out so maybe the this is a recognition event. Now this is only tangentially but have you had Canadian corn POPs before now. I don't think so they are vastly different than the American version. These are actually just puffed. Spheres like you would find in a recent puffer otherwise but they are jumbo-sized themselves and I think it's an exciting contrast to American corn POPs in that delivers a lot of the same flavor without that we're shoe to it. Like the chew on record as being a fan of the chew some some evolutions also in the world of of Pop tarts which we do have into from time to time. I get the less interesting when already. Spongebob SPONGE ON THE RUN. Seabury pop tarts which almost certainly will be a pop tart Tied to film which will not arrive at the same time as the fillmore is almost certainly so what frustrates me here. Is that C? Berry instead of being anything even adjacent. Spongebob whether that's pineapple or kelp or anything. It's just raspberry spider berry again right exactly exactly so we have to. We have to infer that SPIDER BURIES NC. Berries are in the same sort of and therefore we should explore. Should expect a crossover between much wider. Man I'm seeing some extremely lazy packaging to not to turn this back as the negative but the I'm seeing is the screen printed effect. They use for the fruit spiderman but just like a picture of pineapple and a plus sign and a tie and a plus side of the spatula. And and that's kind of like it's it's I don't know spongebob pop. Tart the boxes. The premise is that it's a WHO's who in Bikini bottom so I have to imagine. Each is a very crude equation for understanding your favorite. Spongebob characters I just feel like. He's yellow and rectangular. He is the same shape as food. You couldn't agree elite how well. Luckily that's not the only new popular that's coming because we also have chocolate Chiro pop tart coming which is a very novel integration of both chocolate and cinnamon which we have we've seen sporadically in the serial. I O lately. What with the return of chocolate toast crunch as well as cinnamon crunch crave chocolate incidents. Seem to be having a moment. I have to imagine it's because Kellogg's and other radio manufacturers have run out of ways to combine the same old flavors that they have on hand at any given time. But I'm excited for this one nonetheless just because we saw in the chocolate pretzel pop tarts that you can really mess with that formula and just have that consistent milk chocolate goodness to supplement. Something new innovative. Yeah Yeah I love it darker. Choco probably won't get that. It's not really traditional with the church but I'm always pining for for darker chocolate. Hey speaking of insurers are a sort of classic Mexican snack. What do you what we got coming up from Mexico? Maybe hopefully maybe possibly Mexico get some. It's enough it's not fair. I pine for tropical fruit loops still So I've got multiple reports this past couple of weeks. That waffle crisp has been spotted hiding out in Mexico Which is very exciting because as listeners of this podcast now waffle crisp is a serial. Very very dear to me that was you know very inexplicably discontinued a year back. But we saw that. A lot of serials like stowaway in Mexico when their time has come up in the states because Mexico was selling fruit shaped tricks All throughout their hiatus period before they came back stateside so I'm wondering if this is sort of an experimental re debut of Waffle Crisp to see if it can creep back into the national spotlight and we can enjoy it's unlimited goodness once more. Well I certainly hope so because I know I mainly because I know how much that would delight you. I'd love to see them making a comeback did you. We talked about a little slow on the new releases currently but We did try some new stuff I would love to regale you of tales of the IHOP. Cereal pancakes please please. I wasn't able to get them yet right so I did Because a good citizen and also because all the restaurants are The rooms are closed I did carry out of up still open for for carry out business And let me tell you what I received. I ordered the I I wanted to try all three varieties so I got the If you don't know what we're talking about I have some well.

"Hey everybody this is justin. You might notice some slight audio hiccups during this episode. I made a what could only be classified as a pretty major boehner when I started recording and M. has worked valiantly to correct that error but there are a few little you might just notice a few little places. Hopefully I think it's the imperfections that make something really special. So hopefully you feel that same way to and hopefully won't be too distracting. I don't it is but in case you notice. I just didn't want you to think that you're imagining there. We didn't notice it or anything. And there's a little hiccup from moment to moment here and there but hopefully you'll still get your required relaxation from this episode. And we'll be back with you again soon. "Well you've done it you've given yourself a great gift. You have stood in the middle of tidal waves. And you have said this will be calm here. The waters will be still and they will be milk and they will be filled with corn and wheat and rice. Welcome to the Empty Bowl. Meditative podcast about serial. My name is just a macro and I am a serial enthusiast on. I am Dan Cooper I am merely a mouthpiece for the sacred word serial to speak through me. We're so happy that we could be here with you to Just give you a calm few minutes to think about nothing other than delicious Nutritionists fortifying very ambitious and somewhat superstitious. Serial and serial. Offshoots would say cereals. I projects cereal EPHEMERA. Cereal Jason Entities. Just sort of the broader sphere into the circumference of cereals projected aura Now I was getting a lot of Images sent to me of this first news item and I gotta say looking looking pretty good. Oh yes this is a complete trilogy of Cereal pancakes from I hop These kind of The release of these dripped out onto the new cycle. So much so that I had to keep updating my blog posts because I we saw that I was doing a lucky charms. Pancakes and for some reason fruity lucky charms of all things which I will be outright and saying is probably the worst. Lucky terms varietal. Become out in the past. Five Years Agree Maybe they just had a very very surplus supply of it and that's why they are Dumping it onto the sweet vanilla cream pancakes and then finishing off with you know sort of this inexplicable purple burst of whipped cream. It's a very much a royal purple than you would find. Even on the horseshoe marshmallow so it should be noted that this per- whipped cream has made an appearance with other licensed I hop products They recently not recently. A few months back had a Addams family pancakey Breakfast and and this purple whipped cream featured heavily in that would you say you have an encyclopedic knowledge of sort of I. hops license. Cereal stacks now but they are one of the few people that still going for it and I and I respect that one glad. They went for full spectrum here. Because if that's not your thing you could also get cinnamon toast crunch pancake stack which is probably the most straightforward You got served these differing levels of cinnamon brown sugar Who's topped off with the cereal itself and I'm more traditional looking whipped cream Dusted with further cinnamon. I think that sort of the the safe choice If you are like me and you're going out to try all of these at once. This is the one you can serve to your ride. Who is watching with abject horror as you to eat every single cereal? The cereal thing that's in this ihop finishing out. This trilogy is kind of strange because you expect with two other General Mills pancakes tax. We'd get one more But making a guest appearance here is Chem crunch with crunch berry stack as seeming to be a wider. Grocery trend has brought blue syrup to the mix Which I don't know it's just a very very intense. It is as if the hat itself melted onto the stack Nothing seems to be strange about the whipped cream here so this also is probably a little bit less experimental. I guess saying that in looking at all of them. None of these truly stand out as a weird pancake experience. But it's certainly something you have to be committed to I will note that they also include Creamy cereal milk Mousse. I think that is probably the scientific description of what is wedged between kicks tax. Yeah you know. We don't really know exactly what cereal milk means and most context. It's kind of up in the air catch all term for anything from just sweetened milk to you. Know thoroughly fermented cereal milk. So I'll have to see for myself whether these Creamy CEREAL MILK. Mousse mounds are worth the price of three different. Stacks to try them. All we have we have another Story maybe maybe breaking the trend of DONUT CEREALS. That are loved and lost. Hold up hold up. I need to clarify that. We didn't even mention the serial milkshakes at ihop also. Oh Wow yeah absolutely so two of these. The cinnamon toast crunch crunch. Berries also could be eaten in. You know milkshake form at high hop whether they are actually blending the stacks into the milkshakes or whether they are condensing the milkshakes into pancakes. I like to assume. It's all the same stuff and therefore you should be dipped or dunked or perhaps You know smothered syrup with the stuff. I don't know I mostly just thinking about my own upcoming experience here because whenever I'm able to make it out to I. I know that I'm just going to have to try to milkshakes and three pancake sex at the same time so I'm trying to think of the most creative way to try them all in as few as possible for my own sake Yeah th- that would be an intense day if you tried to consume all these ones. I wonder if there's a limit to how long you stay in. I hop whether this sort of a three meal And then sort of immediately passing out in the car afterwards affair and now we can Return to the world of donuts cereals. One that we've indulge in Hartsburg in a couple of times so yes. The latest entry in the sort of universal serial donut bakery that. We've seen in a timber rations recently. We've seen the ever popular powder donuts which I believe have finally disappeared off. Shelves tragically completely but Duncan is returning to this mix to bring us to flavors of their own cereals Moca LA and Caramel macchiato. This isn't I guess technically donut cereals. Because they neither are flavored like them nor are they shaped like them but instead we get these two spherical puffed cereals each with your standard garden variety white circular marshmallows. But they're each made with Dunkin coffee itself. You might remember that in twenty eighteen rumor surrounding a Caramel macchiato Dunkin cereal. That was supposed to be actually caffeinated. It's very unclear whether there's actually any caffeine and that makes this time I have to imagine that such a thing as it wasn't twenty eighteen would be just a nightmare for anyone or any parent buying them for children without reading the fine print. So if I had to wager. I'd say that these would be closer to sort of the MOCHA crunch cereal. That general mills did a couple years back. But hopefully you know with more of the actual robust coffee earthen nece to round out the experience. I'd love with a little little bit of that coffee flavor that bitterness is not something we come. Get Breakfast cereals. Here speaking of new flavors a historic moment in apple. Jacks history. Oh Yes for the first time as far as I can see if you're not counting Cinnamon Jacks is sort of a a spliced offshoot of the brand. There's never been an apple Jackson Limited edition flavor. That wasn't apple nor cinnamon even care. It was Was Apple Jacks flavored? It's just so strange to me. That Apple Jacks is really. You know every single one that you look at. There's Apple Jacks crashers. There's Apple Jacks gliders. There's racing Apple Jacks and each of them is just some sort of differentiation in color or shape each time proudly proclaiming that. This is the same great taste that you're used to. I don't know about you but apple. Jacks is not such a you know. Beloved flavors me that it couldn't do with a little bit of experimentation so. I am glad that we're finally getting you know. Perhaps one of two or three obvious flavorings for an apple serial. We're getting CARAMEL Apple Jacks Yes the cinnamon. Mascot himself has disappeared from the box. We have yet to see whether the Karma Element here will be anthropomorphic Lee represented but it's basically obviously still loops but instead of the Greenpeace's they've added these sort of Burnt Sienna Rings. That I don't know I would say that. Carmel and cereal is very very hit or miss. Yeah a lot of cereals. Just think Karma means caramelized their existing flavor whereas others will actually do the true where there's original diligence and bring. Yeah words also escaped me when I'm trying to describe Karnal Flavor. Yeah there's bad examples like The Superman serial from years back That that was not a during the Batman. V Superman Debacle that was a very bad Caramel flavor. Yeah I I don't know I just feel that. Assistance is apple. Jacks I dive into the new flavors. Fear this might have been a a tough nut to crack for them The kind of might have bit off more than they could chew by approaching this very nuanced flavor but I will of course given the benefit of the doubt One last one. And this is one of our occasional diversions in pop tarts but This good one. Yeah this news just broke today The pop tarts bites line obviously must have seen some success because we it debuted with strawberry and brown sugar cinnamon the classics and then very recently we got chocolate fudge pop tarts bites as well so now to perhaps Celebrate that successful trilogy. They've introduced confetti cake. Pop tarts bites. Which I won't say is the most exciting. Classic pop tarts flavor that they could have brought to the forefront here. Yeah If it means again getting the the quantity of pop tarts flavors in bite form to expand that sort of extended universe we can get ever closer to the the milk chocolate grand pop tart bites that you know. We'll obviously only come once. If exhausted every single other possibility you look at these confetti cake pop tarts bites themselves and they look probably like they'll distaste like you know a little bit of Golden Flower A little bit of that butter cream. Vanilla Sugar Are you a fan of the Confetti cupcake pop tarts themselves? It's they're fine yes fine. It's like it's. It's like a lot of birthday cake you know. It's sweet sweet sweet. It's not that interesting to me. But you know who knows? It's pretty I like that I like seeing one's the rainbow colored sprinkles. I always thought this her aesthetically the best. Yeah you look at the press. Release for these. They always make a big deal about sort of the edible confetti or glitter. As if. That's just this sort of you know primal draw that all of us have always wanted to do. Finally Eaglet are just like you always dreamed now. Even though you weren't able to go to ihop yet you brought I hop Cereal pancakes to to yourself. Yes cap'n crunch and perhaps it's sort of about of maple intend to this. Year has teamed up with Jemima to bring us two things. First of all there is Berry tastic. Pancake mix so basically. Just your standard engine. My Ma boxed mix studied with all kinds of again edible crunch Berry Confetti So I'm going to start there Because I look at this box and I look at overall product and it's just so fascinating to me how things like this can get all the way from the conceptual stage to the end of the pipeline. And like a lot of it's just not one hundred percent thought through. Yeah I don't know if it's standard for for box pancake. Mix to be literally bursting at the seams with the actual dust itself. I kind of expected there to be a bag inside of this box. But it was already kind of Leaking this rainbow dust all over my kitchen to begin with and you smell. It doesn't smell like much. You taste a little bit of the dry mix. It still doesn't taste like they recommend that were so the preparation process here is no different than again. Either box makes. This is a just add. Water type situation. And I'm really glad that I made these depraved state because it feels like the only appropriate time to make them. I was at like three a M. I had totally forgotten the national cereal. Day was the next day so I scrambled and took photos and terrible overhead lighting. And I think that's the only way to really truly represent these crunch Berry Berry tastic pancakes. Because they don't look great. If you if you take the idea of sort of melting all these rainbows sort of dust pieces into one sort of Brownish technicolor experience. And then you add this ocean blue syrup that they also released with it and this stuff. Just it's it's going to save me my blew. My mind feels a little too on the house. I've heard all kinds of comparisons to dish soap. windex some sort of antifreeze. Or wish you look at. It doesn't look like you should eat it it really doesn't and the consistency and the viscosity of it is almost funny to me. Because you pour it on the pancakes and you're used to this. This idealized image of Maple Syrup cascading down the stack like an idol waterfall. But here it just sort of lays there like coke or perhaps There's this hair gel that I used to use in elementary school can. La Looks type thing there was just as real bar beside colored stuff that would just lay on your hair and turn everything all crusty But it kind of looks like that when you covered the whole experience with the inches tastes like normal. Artificially flavored maple. Pancakes are up and the the pancakes themselves loose so much of whatever subtle crunch berry infusion that they had that at the end of the day you're really just eating I don't know.

"Those now Justin Tad to Amazon and I'm from South Africa. We do purchase will hit and one of my favorites. Mullets William. It's produced by become a brand name. Better and available generically. As either way he seven piping off with salt and sugar. The result is must be multi mainly flavor and a truly comforting. But I wonder to Parentis for within your cereal baby identity Justin. This is Josh from New Zealand Down here we have cereal called honey puffs which is as the name implies a puffed wheat cereal that is lightly covered in ninety. I find that the the sweetness of honey blends quite well with the smoothness of the milk and the week is a nice chewy. Takes John It's not quite as sweet as most American serials So it is quite nice way to start the day and good for you. Just want something. That doesn't really a- of Loggia with sugar. Hello Dan Justin. I currently live in South Korea. Better known to fans of this. Podcast has the land of oreos despite my constant proximity to Dan's all time favorite cereal. My favorite international cereal is Sainsbury's Raspberry and Yoga Chris from the UK despite being storebrand. Cereal this stuff packs. A Flavor Punch never experienced in another serial it features whole dried raspberries which brings tartness to every bite. They balanced this flavor out with something I believe. They call yogurt chips which are really more like white chocolate chips. A component. I Know Justin is called one of his favourite mixon's finally. The base of the cereal is Chunky. Toasty GRANOLA I hope that if you ever happened to spend time in England that you get to try a bowl of this delicious cereal. Well let's go back to the first question. Thank you for your responses real quick. What do you think about porridge or hot cereal? I mean I've always seen hot cereal as sort of a valid. You know coexisting sister too cold cereal. I have much less experience. I would say in reviewing various hot cereals. I don't think I've done too much porridge. Outside of maybe fairy tales. But I think it's a very interesting medium to explore and these winter months especially like where I'm living because nothing nothing feels better than like a warm bowl of grits hitting your stomach. You know I can still mess up some cream of wait. Yeah for sure. And Coco wheats to have their place. Absolutely I have even at sometimes enjoyed Hot grape nuts. I know you just put it in the milk. And then heated up in the microwave and like absorbs more of the milk as it heats and it makes a sort of Porridge. -I origin half type product. I don't know I mean it's not anymore like grapes or nuts for that. Just sort of you know defies newtonian physics. I'm sure yeah It's good though it's worth trying We we have a few questions from from. Y'All I would love to take a crack down if that's okay by you. Owe Bogor foregone. Yeah Oh my gosh. How embarrassing You you need to impart a question. A new one for our listeners. To call in with answers to I mean I've done the last several. Do you happen to have one burning on your mind. "Abo- tie toucan Sam and these fruit loops eyeballs in that. I guess you're meant to hold up to your face like glasses because you see this fellow on his fake instagram account. Holding up a fruit loops pop tart with glasses to his eyes with the caption caught turning class outside into chill outside. And I I just as someone who works as a copywriter. I can't fathom how that's the most creative thing they could come up with even if it's just an instagram caption within a pop tarts box. You can just say like class outsides. Throwing me for a loop talking excited to pursue the fruit of knowledge soundbites outside. It just haven't even done inside the box yet and I just had these thoughts whirling inside of my head but when you get to the actual fruit loops pop tart itself. It's pretty good. I must question again aesthetically why they did these printed designs instead of just giving. Us little fruit loops sprinkles or perhaps a dazzling sort of glaze or perhaps drizzle But the inside taste chemically spot on like an imitation of fruit loops cereal. I think the crust and the icing really take a back seat to the filling here because it's very potent. It's like trying to get the entire fruit loops. Experience conveyed and like a half second of taste buds touchdown. So it's very visceral in that if you try to change the temperature of it whether that's toasting it or freezing it. It's just kind of uncanny because I don't really eat hot fruit loops and I don't really eat frozen fruit loops so it's just kind of bending my brain and sort of different directions of sensory bedlam. You're not use these things being cold. I feel like the I really don't enjoy this. Printing pop tarts. I feel like it's the the equivalent of this sort of generic Marshmallow cereal thing that we've been talking about a lot lately like the Spiderman pop tarts for the most recent film I was kind of excited about. But it's literally just like pictures of Spiderman out tired. I mean it's in no way inspiring. I mean isn't pictures of spider man. What it's really all about. That's true I mean. I love a good picture spiderman for sure but I have so many high quality glossy J. bags saved on my hard drive. You know that's exactly it I was about to bring up Glossy J. pegues again because these don't even look like the highest quality pictures of fruit loops that you could put on an actual consumer packaged. Good their dislike. I don't know if it's the process of screen printing them onto a pastry. But it's like a little bit blurry a little too small slightly artifact did I don't know it's like you just on names. At that point. I would love that love a good name. Bring US home. Dan with a positive review. I know I can sense it. I sense it coming Carmel. Snap crackle poppers are good. They're good if you recall the snap. Crackle poppers line they launched last year. these are basically like hyper miniaturize. Rice krispies treats and cubic form that are in glazed an additional flavor. They originally came out in vanilla chocolate and cookies and cream. The cookies and cream being far and away the best out of all even if they spell cookies and cream in the most annoying way for a serial blogger to keep consistent. I just don't see where they can't use hamper sands that's all I'm saying. Now they've come out with the latest entry in the series which is Carmel. I think it's a lot more basic in its execution than something like cookies and cream which had levels you know layers like ogre like layers but this one is distinctly like caramel corn. These snap crackle poppers. If you've ever had a handful of Caramel corn and wished that you could be doing it for like three times as long I would definitely recommend Karma snap crackle poppers because they're very golden sweetness. You know really just sort of lingers on your tongue and a little bit and perfect amount of just. I don't know kind of the perfect snacktime caramel. This isn't something I would eat for breakfast. Of course certainly nothing. I put in a bowl with milk but I'd say it's right up there tied with chocolate for the second best snap. Crackle poppers flavor. Wow huge you could also just eat one of each of the same time and probably I duNno. Blow your own mind Every week on the Empty Bowl. We ask you our beloved listeners to answer a simple question and we call colander voicemail. And you're kind enough to blige us with an answer Dan Can you remind me and our dear listeners? What was our question for this week's episode? So this is our attempt at serial tourism innocence. We just what's your favorite non-american cereals are so from around the world. "The days begin to lengthen. The air gets just a little bit warmer but as they say it's always cold in the bowl. The Empty Bowl imitated podcast about serial. My name is Justin mcelroy. And I'm a serial enthusiast and I'm Dan bear and I may cereal deep sea diver of sorts and that I go face first into the the deep milk of the Mariana trench to bring back all sorts of balloons and buried treasures for you all to enjoy a breakfast. Sa- some literal treasure in this in this episode we're going to talk about Syria. News serial reviews at CETERA. But I would ask the for the duration this episode. You you try to relax a little bit. Shows me for no reason other than to well one educate people about the comings and goings of the cereal industry? Obviously but mainly for you to build relax a little bit and Just give yourself permission to think about one. Non Stressful thing for thirty minutes thing is serial. I've got fair warning a little bit of a cold but you know what I got a Mug of Chai here with a little bit of Brandy in it and I'm ready to just unwind with some cereal. What about you Dan? Oh you know pretty much about the same. I'm feeling pretty healthy today but sure it helps get into the spirit of cold cereal that we're talking about today. I could sort of fain some nausea or perhaps some discomfort. You sort of Magin that I'm in need of you know a nice meal. Let's let's dive right in to the The milky waters of this episodes serial news. Well are you ready just because we've got a new? Spongebob cereal to feast talk about. Yeah probably before. I even say anything about it because this is an exactly what I'm thrilled about. Because this is the third. Spongebob cereal to come out It's Kellogg's sponge on the run. Spongebob cereal so if you look at the history of spongebob squarepants cereals you can go back to about two thousand three when the I just plain old spongebob squarepants. Aereo came out and this featured You know little jellyfish pieces like corn pieces sort of looking like cap'n crunch with marshmallows in the shapes of Spongebob Patrick and pineapples than for some reason the intellectual property rights got transferred to General Mills. Who RELEASED SPONGEBOB? Ferdie splash cereal which had little crunchy shapes like stars and Yellow Squares With the fruit flavor but now Kellogg's is taking the reins back of this nautical nonsense and bringing us the sponge on the run serial which has the exact same marshmallows as the two thousand three additions but with these very boring sort of square multi grain pieces not like spongebob. Now like the exact same square that we saw in finding dory cereal and the original frozen cereal and numerous other places where Kellogg's couldn't be bothered to you know be original in any sense. I'm not even sure if these are the same marshmallows perhaps leftover from two thousand three now. What is hilarious? It'd be like keep the malls. I guess I are the recipe for the wildest thing to me about. This is and I will of course have to get a box because I have two. Kids are obsessed with spongebob. But that square that generic Kellogg's licensed square is also not good. It's like not pleasurable to eat. If you'RE GONNA put in filler. They're just pick one of your other fine cereals to dump in. I mean I think I even think like corn POPs right like pretend. These are like spongebob after a big meal. Something just around. Spongebob AB- Post Water. Absorption Spongebob. Yeah I mean. It's just weird to me that they have the technology to make multicolored markets that you know uncannily resemble actual cartoon characters but when it comes to the actual meat of the matter. They can't really get beyond basic geometry. I just think there's so much infinite potential and the Spongebob. Lor To you know. Bring some original flavor to the mix that we might not have seen elsewhere. I want pieces. That are all different parts of the crabby patty and then you can stack them up on a spoon and call it a day. Have you ever had those? Gummy crabby patties. Dan I Ordered a literal box of them for my two year. Old's Spongebob Themed Birthday Party last week and they did not arrive until after the party. So the answer to your question is I have a gigantic box. Comey crabby patties. They seal all the individual components separately s at play him to sign a giant. Bag of gummy. Beat out they're all. They're all nicely packaged I WanNa say this Next item one time before you get to say A Lot Because I can't answer tales of fruit loops few spots. Yeah FRUIT LOOPS. Peeps POPs POPs. That is how that is how me talking about. Serial sounds to my grandparents constantly. I bet grandma fruit loops food shops for few shops swaps. Yeah I mean. They're fruit loops pops and so last time. We talked about how they were these fruit loops chocolate Easter bunnies. That came out. There were like white chocolate with fruit loops studied throughout and we had a listener. Actually a little bit egg on my face because they said that they send us back a picture of the back of the bar and I had complained about there. Not being enough fruit loops in this bad boy but if you look at the back of the bar that they showed us there was a lot more so maybe they had settled to the bottom or something. I know yeah. I mean and true fruit loops fashion but so these companion pieces to that. Bunny are basically just You know peeps in rainbow colors allegedly flavored like fruit loops but then for whatever reason they just kind of skewered them on on this big sort of stick. I don't know whether you're meant to sort of chew around them as if it's like a lollipop and like them or maybe just take them off one at a time from the top. I'm just not really sure where the original concept of a peeps pop came from. Was it just the alliteration that brought this product into existence or I? It's hard to say I don't know it's a very weird creation. I think that I think that what we see. Besides froze being very popular color or sorry Popular Flavor. There are also very aesthetically pleasing combination. And I think that that's probably what like the fruit loops doughnuts that hardy's had sort of trading on like just their aesthetically pleasing to look at it a stack. Yeah I just think it's a thing like if I'm ever actually eating out. Probably like eight one and then you know kick the rest beneath my bed until they like mineralized which is actually something that happened that my dad will let me live down. But but I've never been in the situation where eight a single peop- and wanted to continue down. Perhaps an entire sticks worth. Yeah this might just be a trick to encourage people to eat more than they would regularly eat. Which is any number higher than any INTEGER ABOVE ONE Wh- let's wrap up the news with a another lucky charms crossover so this one sort of came out of nowhere to this is. Swiss miss hot chocolate mix or I'm sorry hot. Cocoa Mix not sure necessarily know the difference Cocoa does it have to have chocolate in. I bet the twist miss hot cocoa mix with lucky charms marshmallows. And sorry I was just I just sort of had a buffering moment where I tried to say peeps pops and Swiss miss in my head at the same time. It's impossible. Yeah you'll bring 'em out. This is basically exactly what it sounds like where they will give you this. Cocoa Mix with little lucky charms marshmallows. In it already. I'm curious to see whether these are actually full-sized lucky charms marshmallows or the miniaturized lucky charms marshmallows. That we saw in candidate exclusive lucky charms. Oatmeal a few years ago Yeah it's hard to say I will say look. I've always enjoyed that for some reason when I think about hot chocolate. This is like the classic look to me like Rainbow Colored marshmallows. We must have had around our house at some point But but definitely like is appealing I think. Are you a little worried that like melting rainbow marshmallows into something? That's already brown. Might look sort of an iridescent oil slick and that that's the only thing I can picture in my mind right now. It's all going down the hatch Dan. I've never really been much of a hot cocoa expert because when I was a kid I would just microwave chocolate milk in college day. And let me tell you that a bad idea because you'll get to the bottom and there'll be this like nucleus of lukewarm disgust. That's really all there is to it now Dan. I don't think I've got enough of a chance to talk about on this show but I think though it's not my favorite cereal for peer deliciousness just pure childlike glee of eating cereal. In my book. It is very hard to beat. Freddie pebbles I think is just takes me back more so even some of the classics like fruit loops fruity. Pebbles is to me like the the purest straight from the vein consumption of cereals. So that the the idea of a new variant of the pebbles line fills me with a lot of Glee So have been it. Stacks up I mean. I would definitely curb your expectations for these magic free pebbles. That recently come out. I will say that there is a hot pink box which is very cool and the fruity pebbles themselves. Also pink The main gimmick being that they turn your milk blue. It's kind of bold in the year. Twenty twenty to make that the whole crux of your limited edition cereal offering giving. That's kind of been a gimmick for the past thirty to forty years pink changing things. Blue is pretty is pretty Rad. It's interesting just right off the Bat I will say that these do not taste any different from normal fruity pebbles but okay. It is fun that when you do pour milk on them. Share these tiny really in crystals creep out of every single pebble and do indeed turn the milk. This sort of a therio blue that you'd imagine like the surface of Neptune to be like it's very cosmic in a sense and it's like dazzling to look at to the point where you know when you're done enjoying it from a sheer aesthetic standpoint. It's probably already soggy. Yeah it's still. I bet it tastes tastes good though made his free bubbles. You know I'm just. I think I've mentioned on this show before that. I'm not the biggest pebbles fan because it basically feels like the equivalent of grazing cow sort of chewing on something yet does not really impact my stomach in any sort of tangible way but I do like a cereal that puts on a show and I think this one might be worth it for the sheer novelty alone won't worth a try. Then what about our next product here? I've been curious about this one. This is the one that I was excited to get to because I have just a lot to say about fruit loops pop tart okay. I'm ready. I'm ready what better van year. Let's start the basics. I I get the overall feeling when looking at this product that this whole operation came together and under twenty four hours because first of all. They're not even called fruit loops pop tarts. They're called pop tarts with limited edition fruit loops flavor. That's kind of just emblazoned on their with sort of an afterthought badge so it already doesn't fit into the broader pop tarts cannon and the actual packaging design. It's a bit uninspired as well because I don't know if you've noticed recently but two cans Sam is a bit anatomically inconsistent in that you know. Es The you're talking about the variation between feathers and fingers. Yeah Yeah. I think it's sort of worth noting that on the exact same box of fruit loops pop tarts. We see two can say on the front gripping this fruit loops pop tart with his feathers. Which already feels a little unhygienic. But you look at the back and now there's this much cruder sort of CGI Toucan Sam with his hands again and he's pointing at this example of something you post on Instagram to show off the six unique designs that come on these fruit loops pop tarts which include you know actual fruit loops. Abo- tie toucan Sam and these fruit loops eyeballs in that. I guess you're meant to hold up to your face like glasses because you see this fellow.

"Twenty five and welcome to to the Empty Bowl. It's a meditative podcast about serial and my name is Justin mcelroy I'm a serial enthusiast And My name is Dan. Gilbert and I am a serial Smith. I don't actually physically make the cereals but I believe that I've forgotten of content surrounding cereal that can be worthy of that title. I think that's fair. Dan for the next half hour. So we're going to let people relax. Karenna let them be calm and try to focus just on cereal for a little bit and not worry about the. The everyday comings and goings is is relaxed. Maybe if hey if you're drifting off to sleep We'll try to keep it quiet for you. I think that's such a I as as strange as it sounds. I find it kind of humbling and I feel like it's kind of an honor that people go to sleep with this podcast. It feels like a real active trust. You know to say I'M GONNA go to sleep. You guys just keep doing your thing. I am confident that at no point in the next thirty minutes. We'll they scream or make a jump scare or anything like that it just relaxing talk about serial now. This is not in the show but I did want to mention this week. I tried what I believe. Is Your number one of twenty. Nine thousand nine is that correct. Not only is it. My number one three live twenty nine but gave Fonseca of cereal time put out a instagram Graham filter. That says which cereal should you today any put a hundred different cereals in in the first time that I tried it. I got cheerios out. Crunch oats and honey. My number one twenty nine hundred series of the year tastes made it number one. Fate made them a family. I finally tried this cereal and listen. Listen it's it's I think there's a crenshaw narrative dissonance with this box because it does look like kind of a boring being healthier variant of Cheerios with just some sort of od. Bits on it. But I was not prepared for how absolutely outrageously good and this cereal is it is bringing you know what it is. It's bringing a depth of flavour. There's a depth to the sweetness sweetness with Graham or molasses. Sort of tiny bit of under her it of that and it is just absolutely absolutely outrageously good straight out of the box in a bowl Graham is probably like the best like it's it's Graham notes. I would say Have Somehow they've managed to work those in and it is a stunning stunning cereal. Yeah I know you texted me out of nowhere telling me that you tried it and I mean you're literally not even the people just pop up on social media like I tried it and you are right now in I mean it just now came to stores in my area so After you're done either listen to this podcast or sleeping a bee line to your local Walmart. Okay that being said let's not waste any more time talking about Syria. Let's talk about serial uh-huh and tell me what's what's the news. What's going on? Well take a couple items before we get into the actual nitty gritty of the actual cereal but There's been and a lot of Chili cereal news lately I know if your market chilly cereal being marshmallows. Yeah Yeah Yeah. The Chili's phillies franchise Israel and only recently getting into cereal. But I'm just really impressed by the sort of Supreme Nachos But no if you remember remember not too long ago. Target launched this market pantry. Cereal bowl ice cream. That was basically to cinnamon toast crunch an ice cream. It was pretty solid I certainly enjoyed did it but now we are getting the real thing from eds and dryers and as a cinnamon toast crunch light ice cream which I believe in the dairy industry is code for probably not actually fully ice cream right But nevertheless is officially sponsored by cinnamon toast crunch and it appears to have thick swirls sounds of cinnamon sugar flavor and as you know that it's the taste that you can see I can certainly see it share. It looks it looks really good. Ah Judging from the carton. I'm actually not a serial guy Sorry that was a check as never been spoken to this as right now. I'm not make ice cream guy unless it's got like a lot of chunks. I would love like if there's some I mean I would have to crumble some cinnamon toast crunch over this. I think to to really complete it. You know it's unclear whether there'll actually be pieces of anything in there. It's kind of tough to tell from the only render that we have have a bit but Just today actually. We got photos of a companion to this which will be lucky. Charms ice cream doing alongside which feels from like An ideal standpoint to be a little bit less creative since you're kind of just making oatmeal flavored ice cream with more sugar in it But I think it's exciting nonetheless. I don't know which I'll try I. I don't know which my lactose intolerance will. Let me eat I but I'm excited This is a slightly unrelated but did I see on twitter. UNIBOX TIM BITS I did. I actually just got them last night. From Gabe again from serial time who manages to just have multiple of these timid cereals coming to him that he can just redirect the shipment to me. But I'm very excited To give it a shot I know there have been other people offering to send us some if you are still looking for connect. Yeah police folks. Po Box fifty four Huntington West Virginia two five seven seven. Oh six just shoot a box straight to me. If I get multiples I will take them to the day shelter here that my wife works at but the FI. We'll try them. I have a question. How many cereal boxes can even fit in a Po box before it overflows? Oh you know it's fun is I have they. They have to keep this stuff behind the counter that doesn't fit into my po box. And I often walk away with multiple large plastic bins. Were stuff stuff. Or they'll put them in lockers throughout the post office in this League of pilot keys in mind. This is truly. We probably keys in my pupil excited to find them. Basically have an entire post office. That is just entirely dedicated to your shipment. Eventually I'll get it down to where it's just post post cereals coming to the post office. Perfect for them. You know what I just talked about ice cream. But I'm Mike in the looks. So this next story so we again branching into The unfamiliar territory of Pop tarts but The pop tarts brand has teamed up with good good humor to release brown sugar cinnamon pop tarts bars. So it's basically on a stick you've got this this Sort of Mahogany core of cinnamon. Something or other surrounded by a layer of vanilla ice cream which is then coated in the classic crispy. Crunchy is that you might see from a strawberry shortcake good humor bar which is probably why they didn't make a strawberry pop tarts one as well. Yes point yeah although with a like a rainbow in both sprinkle on the outside that could look very appetizing My Wife Calls Scooter. Crunch bars what. Yeah I know it's it's there was a line nine of them. I mean if you if you Google that phrase this is not a creation of her own thing it gets there's a regional line that were sold around here. You're from Ohio. I guess and they were labeled scooter. Crunch bars It's yeah it's it's it's quite a thing now. I Really WanNA scooter crunch cereal. Whatever that might be strawberry shortcake cereal? I feel like is is an untapped vein That I love someone I mean. Obviously there was a strawberry shortcake cereal Based on the hit hit character. What is this news about Some some lucky charms variants. We got come down. I mean basically all I need to do is read to you this product name and you'll basically at the entire gist of it but it is cocoa puffs with lucky okay terms marshmallows. So if that didn't exactly see you in the cereal is a sort of cocoa puffs but with lucky charms marshmallows. Okay okay. There's really nothing more to say to it than that. I mean we already have sort of chocolate lucky charms so this is basically just taking that and sort of molding the different terms into spheres and calling cocoa post with lucky charms marshmallows. I don't get I guess I can do that. Yeah I mean I guess L.. Eaten entire two pound bag of it but you think like it got a little more creative with that but yeah it exists. It's out there. If you really into crossover series I feel like the crossover is like the lazy reds. Right below free rings and White Marshmallow Markets and like the laziness like category e just had asked to different tubes just like turn them around like Oh. We'll just make this point at this. Vox Okay. Good it's a new serial like general mills is going to do something outlandish with their cereal. crossovers they should take cereals. That are totally totally different from each other. Like I want tricks and fiber one in sort of the same box oops boobs. That is really an ABS that is really they. They rolled the dice. Just whatever they got. They had cereal run off into a box. And you get what you paid for. What I make of this last story? Dan Help me out. So if you remember last year there were these snap APP. Crackle papers that came out which were basically miniature miniature rice krispies treats so basically the size of maybe. I'll you know a standard lego brick. But they were Rice krispies treats in different flavors of coatings. They had vanilla chocolate the cookies and cream and they were all really good. Honestly it especially really the snap. Crackle pop tasted good in the wake of rice krispies treats cereal becoming sort of An infernal child of what it once was. But we the only take too much time to do on that because there's a new snap crackle poppers flavor and in his Karma Who We've known about these for a little bit but they're finally starting to hit shelves and again much like the the cocoa puffs? I don't know if there's too much more to say other than that. I'm excited. Yeah they look really good. I'd love to pour some milk on these to see what happens. They're just super chewy also creamy at the same time so it's very much more of a textural experience than standard cereal. Now Dan. I've let my feelings be known about The excellent cheerios. Oh Crunch Huntington correct. I have to like roll my eyes in the back of my head to remember that they should just call it better. Cheerios just like we fixed it. It's good now you like it. I want to hear about some of these new cereals that you tried to and what you thought so not too long ago. I tried frosted honey bunches of oats which feels like don't necessary cereal that has been created in recent memory because frosted already right fifty percent of the flakes and honey. Bunches of oats are already frosted the other half just being standard cornflakes but if you're ever the type of person the new head of bowl of honey bunches of oats and just thought. It's just not sweet enough. You can experience a hundred percent flake coverage in terms of that sweet sugar sap that we all love so well. I tried the cereal and as expected I didn't really noticed. Noticed too much of a difference. It almost it almost seemed like it was a little too frosted. I could probably have done with like fifty percent less frost while our guy. Ah Good News for you boy. Do I have a product for you..

"It is a little bit of an acquired taste You know don't go in expecting a mouthful of fruity pebbles. But it kind of gives a little like I don't know the more of these I eat the more F- kind of feel like I don't know it's an interesting Some of the flavors used like an interesting counterpoint to just the overbearing hiring sweetness. Are you a regularly enrolled. Cereal scholar. I think I'm still in my freshman year of cereal. Cereal skull goal this. This third one here is kind of special. I was so surprised and flattered and honored to be included in this talk about these next next four serials so these are serious time cereals by Gabe. Fun Sake himself who must people live. Listen to this. PODCAST have known that we've mentioned before because he. He hosts the wonderful serial time Youtube series. Which is probably the best historical O'Connor part to my blog and this and this podcast as well and that he knows a lot more of the hard facts about serial instead of just creating random adjectives? I'm known to do but this isn't the first time that he's done this in a couple of years ago. He sent me his own cereal serials that he created by mixing other cereals and then adding additional ingredients as well he then he went on to design his own boxes. Include surprises inside include trading cards activities on the back and all that There was a graceland cereal. That was banana peanut butter totally genius But a couple of years later now he's doing it again and he sent Justin. I his four latest creations. Yeah there's a I don't have the the boxes in front of me so I'll call the names right off the Bat Pinochle autos I know is one with Pineapple and coconut flavors and actual will actually like pineapple and coconut in it. That one stood out to me because totally looks like us on the box. Right yeah model. I mean seriously dot net by the way if you want to check them out Is it spicy rice crispy treats as the KRISPIES treats. Yeah this is definitely the most interesting to me. Since one that keeps the old rice krispies treats branding which is beautiful and to it is is probably the first interpretation of spicy cereal that I've seen and I was really nervous trying that one because it includes actual ghost pepper hot sauce us. Were you able to crack one open at all. Yeah you know what I weirdly Kinda dug it like it was maybe a little. I'm not a huge spice. A person it was maybe a little bit spicy for me But like I could see how if you backed off a little bit It's an interesting counterpoint. To like the hard suite of the rice krispy treat. It's like just kind of like a note of heat after you finish. It was a little strange in milk. I will say I did try milk. It was a little the spiciness. Plus milk is a little weird but this is like a cereal to kind of eat diet. Okay but but when you open your package was actually like a serial because mine was basically just one giant spicy crispy. I cur molded up. I did that. I did the problem. I was more in fear of thing and it kind of told me what to do sir but this collection also contained a cobbler crunch cereal which is a peach flavored cereal with cinnamon clusters as well as treasure trove. Cereal which combines honey nut checks with honey smacks and marshmallows so those ones were much more tamely delicious. I believe than the spicy crispy treats but overall I give many many. Thanks and and Congratulations on a successful serial launch in creating these flavors that are much more interesting than just about anything we see on the cereal show. Yeah no kidding. Every episode almost nearly every episode. We ask you to weigh in question we pose to you this time. It's it's just about Cereals Video Games I think is what we asked you about. Service your favorite cereal as video game or videogame cereal cereal and Video Games So let's I'm GONNA take a pause here and We come back Austin to ask you another question but for a moment. Just listen to our friends. Hi Dana Justin. My name is Tina and my fondest memory of cereal and video Games is captioned crunches credentialing adventure. It was a CD game that came in the captain. Crunch box owners. A kid when you put it up to make your own furry little crunching a creature that it feeds on a variety of captain crunch cereals you need to feed your crunching petted and play games with it. Like hurling rocks at a prehistoric volcano corrupts or jumping around at a digital space atop motherboards microchips. You can even race a turtle writing backwards on a skateboard. My brother and I play the game endlessly as children and my dad's PC. And I revisited. Recently it was still very charming in that definitely cursed but still kind of nostalgic way. Thanks for your time. Hi Dan Ingestion. It's L. E. for Edinburgh and Scotland when I was about five or six years so I received a CD-ROM of Pacmans Three D. Adventures. From a box of coca POPs. I enjoyed playing pacmans three d of inches so much that I held onto the CD-ROM. Until I was about eighteen years old and leaving the university.

"Ever since it was a small child I remember Tim. Bits of various quantities population many of the happier moments memory. But that's why it's sort of astounding to me. They're finally turning Tim. Bits into a serial The Tim Bit serial story itself starts a little bit of the ways back. I will say that I was very very blessed to be the first person contacted by the Sort of a someone. I'm keeping confidential but cereal vendor who works with the likes of post who teamed up with Tim Hortons to produce the cereal and he told me a while back about a possible. Tim Tim Bit serial and he sent me a picture that showed like a a timber. Assortment pack as a serial so it'd be a combination of powdered. Tim Bits original Tim bits chocolate Tim. Bits and some sort of nutty Tim. It all in one concept. That really astounded me. Until I didn't hear anything about it for about seventy eight months and I got a entirely Harley new. Look at what Tim bit. Syria will actually be so it may be a candidate exclusive but tim bits. Syria will be viewing chocolate glazed and birthday cake flavors in Canada any moment now really. So what are we talking about. Content of this one So I was really excited needed about the assortment packet I because it gave the possibility of many many different flavors. But we've sort of evolved into I hate to say it but it looks more just just like a standard corn puff of treatment of this blessed donut hole. It's very much similar to the hostess cereal in. I don't know why they didn't lead with some of their more flagship flavors When I think of Tim Bits I immediately think of the Apple Fritter? I'm going to have to think that'd be a more reasonable choice for acorn puff than simply the birthday cake approach..

"Flavors put an unnecessary unnatural barrier between public milk I love the show keep up the good work best Alexa obviously Alexa is being a meditative podcast about Syria we're not going to settle settled debates here cereal perfectly legitimate me I have a question for you are you much like mean that you call it and received puffs instead of the traditional reese's puffs Reece's races now racist book I mean that's a conflict have been enduring for much of life and receives just flows better I never heard of it but ESA the method I would say that bright right. We don't want any debates but I feel that this is very meditative way to appreciate cereal I know when you're actually having cereal and milk there's a little bit of an unspoken time attack going on and that s everyone has their quiet preference for how soggy it is before it's too soggy so I think that doing something like this is a good way to just you know appreciate cereal in the monastic tradition of just finding yourself a nice wall or or void to stare at while you take the cereal in breath I mean I feel like more than a lot of serials reese's puffs are are get really stripped down by milk they lose a lot of they're they're punch now it goes into the milk so I'm down I'll get in there but if you're not a fan of the milk then I can see why you would wanna the different colors of racist puffs actually case different like I knew that there was some there is some powder interchange between the ones that are close to each other but since you this is about three or four serials due to post podcast hunger pangs have only finished two of them they're made in my pantry occasional snacking but since unlikely to have cereal it goes one of two ways I there I will absolutely demolished the cereal in like two days for I will have a couple bowls bowls of it and then just kind of lose interest until it gets you stay on a lot of the problem also is we've talked just untenable I there is one member of my family that also like cereal Michael we don't we don't have the manpower the person power you will to sorta churn through these before they've joined the climate invisible. Yeah I mean that's the problem obviously get a hon of unfinished boxes just because I have to try it feels like every serial and non every cereals all that great but still your body it said as part of my commitment to the ongoing longevity of my blog I feel it's probably not best in any sort of medical interest for me to eat every single boxes zero I have but the problem is that been so fortunate the you have taken the time to join us here if you'd like to weigh in with your your queries or what have you been.

"But this was one of those ideas that was you know on the edge of the cutting board after all their summer ideas and they kind of push out a little bit late but uh-huh I is can I help that Millville peanut butter and Jelly puffs is anywhere near as good you know it's actually pretty close I mean so earlier this year like I tried the hostess donut cereal that has been praised so often here on the podcast I thought that's it doing try else that's probably going to be the best sale of the year but after toasted coconut cheerios now the millville peanut butter and Jelly puffs I think we have to solid contenders because I'm pretty mush just a sucker for peanut butter and Jelly anything I think it's probably the most underrepresented flavor Combo in terms of no brainers for cereal right but the last true pb and J. C. earlier we saw with Jeff one that came out I think two or three years ago now and got on a mixture of us I get it the pieces are very small and Brittle and not quite as effective but here we just have plano spears and they're expires at that these are like crunch berry styles fears spheroid if you will of you know the peanut butter ones are Kinda like racist puffs in that they are are you know very well dusted but they also have that tinge of salt to it that I think sets them above and the Jelly puffs I think are clearly meant to be strawberry really have like this ambiguous middle ground between strawberry and grape that I think something that was previously unthinkable might be able to solve the a bitter divide between Strawberry Jelly and grape jelly fans and peanut butter and Jelly sandwiches and so nice they finally finally there could be peace peace of the sandwich yes it's definitely wins the Nobel Prize for students on and if you are out near and all the I would highly recommend it now tell me he dan why there's a review here for Blueberry Count Chocula Twenty nineteen this area the are these areas that are volving your I mean we talked about Franken Berry little bit last time right because you shared your experience with that yes it is I still have this box of that I'm trying to get through I I I wish I enjoyed eating the the monster cereals more I we know that since the recipe changed I like Boo Boo bear used to be way up there for me in terms of like all time cereals but like I feel like with the recipe change I start to feel like I'm just eating up quite packing material there's just no textual spouses to it yeah I mean I got you there only put these on here so that we could you know say in our end of year report that we actually covered the big guns when it came to Halloween cereals but agree with you in the most part that the tastes really isn't anything to write home about and obviously hasn't changed at all in the past decade or or maybe two but I think they really benefited this year from heading for the most part really poor competition like just I just finished eating so many toys stories serials the peop- cereal the birthday cake for lubes in the catacombs in the UNICORNS and the mermaids and they all taste the same yeah until finally get to a monster cereal and a little bit of a break yeah we say sorry what's your favorite of the three I mean like modern flavor standards or just sort of the whole encompassing mythos interesting let's say Characters not withstanding just a flavor I mean it's got to be Count Chocula at that point just because I think the chocolate does the best job of masking the corn I love it it's beautiful it's not like better than cocoa pebbles or cocoa puffs but you know you can really fake it till you make taste corn could be really well used like it there are some scenarios that use it to great effect by by large I feel like it's just like every corn basically that uses the word corn and the name I think tends to have an easy job whether it's the flakes or the ops or the brand crunches way into a lot of those I feel like corn checks is actually like a less hardy substantive cereal but a lot of these like that that out outside of that I just I can't I pops I think corn pops really good but like I don't know there's a corn I would it's this sort of st the monster cereals is just not my fav- so that's that's the thing I really wanted to mention too because I took the plunge and I went to the monster carving dot com site where you're able to download these you know these much-maligned pumpkin stanzas even like not even discussing the stencils themselves that you're like really difficult for anyone to actually follow the directions where it says to print them out tapes them to your pumpkin cut them out trace them in occur oh my God that'd be the most frustrating process if you were also the type of person who would bring yourself to the point where you're downloading cereal slash addams family Pumpkin stenciled from the Internet the true crime of this website is the fact that there's so many things wrong with it there's typos and fact that when they're describing the cereals monster cereals each of them is described as being a frosted oat cereal and just did nobody jack check this because not true the most Carlson you could make you really just finding that sore spot on monster cereal fans and just putting the cigarette in it when he say something like that it's brutal I love to see a a revamp of the class aggressive pay but who knows I mean it's only it's not made for very long out of the year why why do we after cheap out on it but you know particularly collector's item the the Millville brand is back for another review of told me about cookies and cream so this one it seems has been out for a little bit longer than I knew about it I don't make it out to all the too often but Millville did its own interpretation of Oreos and I thought this was interesting because After a lot of research I did last year I found that Millville is owned by Malt O. Meal a WHO is of course owned by posts so post simultaneously makes Borio owes they make multiple meal cookies and cream cereal and also make millville cookies and cream cereal and somehow they all managed to be different so I wasn't really sure where the Millville one would compare to the others I think Oreo o's in multiple version are very close in terms of quality but this one this one is very much sort of the the ugly stepchild of the bunch in that I can't even eat this one because I think the main crimes that doesn't have sprinkles all now it's like it's bad it's bad enough when they took the marshmallows away from Oreos but without the sprinkles I don't really know how you get away with Connie Cookies and cream series is theirs the cream yeah guys come on but I mean the thing ends up tasting like a card tainting cardboard substitutive Oreos and they also seem to have a golden version of this name cereal which I can't even imagine just how sarcophagi logically dry would be hey listen Dan we we from time to time ask our listeners to way in on question we've posed them it's been a month since we have recorded so honestly I don't remember what the question was I do you do you recall I hope I do recall that I asked people to just you know read out their current pantry lineup of what serious 'cause I found I found it tells you a lot about a person but I also found that when reading this or listening to all of them and we got a lot of them they all start to blend together after a certain point so I'm sorry if I didn't get capture all of the nuances of everybody here but take a listen high Dannon Justin this is still in my current zero lineup is cinnamon toast crunch is my favorite time frosted mini wheats with a touch of raspberry and concoction that put together myself this week I went to see the store and I've been missing one of my favorites for my childhood so badly team Cheerios I decided to try to put a version of together myself I bought a box of honey nut cheerios a box of frosted cheerios and embarks of Maple cheerios putting together among those reusable plastic containers and while I don't think it's a I perfect representation of the original cereal it gets close enough to satisfy the stage in my heart and my taste buds thanks so much hey Dan Hey Justin this is Sam from the Oh of ISO and the cereals currently have are the post hostess frosted donuts cereal and Oreo O's which I mixed together one part doughnut to two part Oreos to make a surprisingly tasty experience I don't normally cut in during the emails with the idea that I think that's surprisingly tasty is just beyond the Pale have you had a double stuff where you will come on man all right let's see hello everyone Indiana in okay. I'm Japan after Pan just isn't known for its cereals they have Levada wonderful foods lot of wonderful breakfast options but cereal really isn't one of them but I have found that the Japanese brand of frosted flakes really does do the trick for me when I moved a little homesick and wanting a bowl good good stuff we call cereal so right now I have a bull I have a big bag of Japanese brand frost it's like a mild temperate now antics really doing the trick for me so thank you so much for this podcast I love you that not what I want to say but it's true speaking of cereals that hailed of Asia I had a listener and I have unfortunately lost their contact information in the in in a recent transition of moving one room to another and I lost that contact information please email if you're the person that was kind enough to send this in but someone sent me a box of Oreos read South Korea Hachi Macci Dan yes you're not you're not ready for creating Orios I'm telling you yeah for real like if we did this podcast over there we would just be a whole it would just be a Oreos we'll be the point it's just the they make them different over there I don't know why we can't compete to the same standards with our Oreo O's I don't know why we're leading the likes of Mill Millville scraper I want to talk out here's our love you talk about What is your universal serial topping your Merwin topping that you put on I obviously milk aside number one topping that you can put onto the highest range of cereals aw a great experience a reentering this one now are we going to wait till next week let's wait until next week all right all right because we also have life email here this goes a little something like this Hello Justin and Dan I was really enjoyable of receives puffs with milk in a glass on the side rather than in the bowl my husband question my technique I think I was preserving the puffs flavor by not deluding Camila until the moment they were ready to be eaten I don't like cereal so any flavor that wash off of puffs what unfortunately be wasted I also believed delay gratification that comes drinking milk after bright improves the experience is like having a glass of milk after Cook Okay this is interest testing Oh sorry it continues what are your thoughts and drinking milk on the side by doing this if I preserve the cereals.

"Yeah friends come a little closer to the fire that's right I make my cereal the old fashioned way billable with grain binding agents and sugar and I stir them up in a bowl and I kept them over this in this kill and that's how I make my cereal my name is Justin mcelroy I'm cereal enthusiasts Oh you don't you don't for Jerem? don't ask too complicated series levers and pulleys involves fire this is the empty bowl it's a meditative podcast about Syria which sounds like a joke but it's is not we make a podcast that is designed to be a a relaxing calming experience That just happened to be about the best food I think best food around in town that's where I'm at I don't WanNa roughly feathers the like pizza but cereals the best for me eighty you think it'd be tough this long pizza biweekly God quad weekly let's let's not spending more time Extolling the virtues of cereal right down to the nitty gritty and I am I'm not blue about these I t's stories we've got coming out of high in fact you might say about this first three stories I'm very excited I mean in some sense of the word everything we're gonNA talk about evolves blueberries I don't know why that sort of the hit vary in terms of the cereal market right now but I'm all for it because when it's done right it's really right but basically these first three stories come from the same source which was a twitter follower named Devon who I'm very thankful to for a sort of sharing can insider glimpse at some cereals that do not have their box art developed yet but very much exists as cereals in both name concept and execution but the first is something we sort of knew about obviously we all remember a couple weeks back when we were talking about Eggo cereal and how the brand said on twitter that if they get ten thousand retweets they would bring back cereal and I remember we we try to recall them on their bluff saying that you kind of know how long it takes to make a new serial so it's very unlikely that their decision to do this is actually contingent on anything we do right right it's not a it's not up to us but I sort of like to think that we swayed it because by the time that we mentioned it already been like several days after they tweeted it but it was it was lingering very purgatory four thousand retweets but days after we talked about it on the show which has shot up over ten thousand so it's either we made it happen win or they faked it so either way I think we Where the winning party here they kind of threw us for a loop in that there's no word yet that the actual maple cereals coming back but we do have photo evidenced now the blueberry eggo cereal that is coming soon from Kellogg's I love that flip mask and because they combine the blueberry and Sergi flavors in With the Harrow piece I think that is going to be a g annual delight yeah I mean obviously we're all we're all missing waffle crisp it's left that griddle hole in my heart and so that's why I'm a little bit confused this isn't tapu a little bit worried just because the Cap'n crunch blueberry pancake cereal wasn't all that in terms of you know the maple leanness so going into this one with a little bit of trepidation I I would very much like for you to continue well this on obviously can almost entirely can be attributed to you for returning but blueberry muffin toasters formerly known as Blueberry Muffin tops We had a rumor that they were coming back we had like a shot of the image or the Sarah a shot of the logo but now we have an actual photo of the cereal which not is looks exactly like it used to so it seems they heard the cries of us again and again on this show and they made it happen I This is a thrill for me I I'm a died the wall Blueberry Muffin tops fan so thrilled to have it to have it back it is a is a lovely lovely area that I I am so excited to have back on on store shelves the quote that the contribute to you on the box if I see you've put in a A bit of Blueberry Muffin tops more into the supposed here a video of the bag station pass that we did at our our our blueberry Muffin tops event that we held on that one packs Boston what are the odds we can make something like that happen again by sheer force of will I think they probably learn their lesson from the spent the first time which is to say too much too much money but people are still talking about it here we are years later it's true let's let's let's keep going another more berry more vary return return four fairy so this one's probably the least interesting but coming from the same source we also know that mixed berry filled mini wheats are returning this was something that ah first appeared as touches fruit in the Middle Mixed Berry mini wheats which is just a whole hassle to say so glad that they brought back the same you know probably generics blend of strawberries blueberries raspberries that we normally see in mixed berry confections and you know sort of putting that little dollop inside the defrosted mini wheats I can't say that I'm terribly excited for this because I know it's just GonNa be really dry but I mean if that's your that do the texture with the Phil shredded many weight I find that doesn't really do anything just because they don't put enough of it in there okay I'll be obvious I'm not surprised that they didn't sort of Turkey base it to the brim with actual jelly but you know how actually crunchy and like hey it is beat shredded wheat brick that it's very much like finding you know the the blueberry needle in the haystack right we've got this is not I like this this is adjacent this for this final story cereal adjacent yeah like I was saying earlier obviously it's been a little bit center latest episode but when we were first going to record this there was like nothing happening in the real world and then the day or two after all this blueberry news came up but I was sorta strange find things that were serial Jason and I still think this warrants inclusion just because I have it in my fridge right now actually waiting to try but board and farms introducing three New County Fair inspired milks. Obviously we've tackled some cereal Jason things like Pompton hurts but I think milk is pretty much fair game yes right but especially when the the flavor of these milks are respectively cotton candy blueberry cobbler and Banana Taffy milks banana taffy is such a wild swing like what a big a big vulgar call the aching they're with that what you could've done elephant ear milk yeah like just as sweet sentiment Kinda deal Oh back they think that'd be cool it's just a wild swing that this survey and it's such a strange leap to make I think we talk a lot about how like the cereal industry is struggling to keep pace with like new consumer audiences but Milkman the early seems to be having an identity crisis this but After I I tweeted about these the company reach out to me about mailing me some sort of a a cooled container they were very very specific about the fact that someone it should be there to receive the milk's before they went to a lot of pressure yeah but I mean they're in my fridge right now and it's just a matter of what specific serials should I pair each of these with to make you know the perfect cocktail thoughts on that You know I think like the first thing that sprung to my mind is like wheaties and Banana Taffy like that to me sounds like really that sounds very good or like maybe like cotton candy with kicks like that might be nice yeah it's gotTa be something subtle really yeah that you absolutely Eh but I was gonNA say Blueberry Cobbler and Golden Grams almost a done deal my book Oh boy oh boy that would be delicious wow I will be honest with you I have held off on reading your view of this first area because I am so excited about it an I I am so hopeful that it delivers in the big bowl flavor department so just to preface we've gotten a lot of what seasonal limited edition cheerios do you have like a complete track record of trying most if not all of them county honest I told actually this is just a specific flavor that we've talked about this underrepresented in the world that I would love to see more more progress on I think it's that isn't my main the main appeal for me yes you draw out the lead here a little bit more we've had strawberry cheerios great pumpkin spice cheerios probably the best pumpkin spice cereal peach cheerios for all right and then most recently the blueberry cheerios which I think you know obviously there ahead of their time and these are the blueberry series are going to have a heck of a time catching up but none of those does compared to in my opinion these latest one's toasted coconut cheerios. Something that I heard about I saw the boxer ahead a sort of a beach umbrella in it and I after having tried toasted coconut choose already I have to say this is this is a top contender for the year in my book wow I didn't expect that even the biggest coconut person like almond joy mound but they really nail it here in that it's not the the boring like Baker's coconut or tropical coconut that you see in like your Special K's and your other addition varieties that sliver these little chocolate chunks of coconut in there right now they really do the honey nut cheerios approach here of just glazing on a very like macaroni coconut forever it's just enough understated toy prop up that that cheerios boat base and really makes thing that's much more minimalistic yet effective than pretty much anything else that's being put out in a series game right now wow that is huge praise is it is there anything texture textually the his changed for this I know sometimes with some of the Cheerios we've seen like a little bit of like extra extra crunch on there is there any textual component on this or is it just a coconut flavor now it's basically like you so you have your plain cheerios which are super dry in place when you have your chocolate peanut butter cheerios that are all powdered up dusted up but these are like the honey nut cheerios and that their love it sticky you know a little bit it was a thin veneer on top of it but it's nothing that you would notice an industrial mental sense definitely.

"I'll look at shoes like four five times online before I'm like yeah I don't know that I wanna get shoes or not and then eventually I'll get it but how do you go to a shadowing an open house in and out tablets. Do you want this house right. Not want this and the realtors there so shady with trying to get you to leave your realtor. Oh what are you doing here today. Where's your realtor? They're they're not here. Oh I'd be with you if this if you were my client I be with you right now. It's like well. I don't want my realtor with me right now. I can look at a house without a real. It's a it's a cutthroat business and it's just like hey take a look around. Do you need anything and then same thing the realtors like they fall on you. It's like I just WanNa look at the house but I also feel and correct me if I'm wrong because you've shopped for House recently and I I sure haven't but nowadays can't you let go on Zillow or some realtor's website and like a virtual coronas but anyhow this I mean you see all these houses online line broadmoor but it's not the same you gotta see it in person yeah. "Fast Dylan posted his job on Ziprecruiter and said he was impressed by how quickly clearly he had great candidates apply he also Ziprecruiter's candidate rating feature to filters applicants so he could focus on the most relevant ones and that's how Dylan found his new director director of coffee and just a few days. It's Chris yes. Yes I know last week. He said he he had to resign from the position but then reapplied. I love coffee. I love it. You know what no security it was a separation so qualified qaulified and thankfully ziprecruiter existed that Dylan was able to find a replacement for Chris but then the director of coffee did wasn't good enough because it pales in comparison the Cristie Kerr so now Chris applied for the job again because of his passion for coffee and now guess what director of cloud amazing and your boss still miss quits yes. Thanks Dan so Jack Jack for this job. It's so exciting I love about miss quits that he doesn't realize he forced himself out of the job because he used ziprecruiter went so qualified that he's soon going to be unemployed. Employed have to use ziprecruiter on the other end results like that. It's no wonder four out of five employers who post on Ziprecruiter get a quality candidate within the first day see why ziprecruiter orders so effective for businesses of all sizes trial Ziprecruiter for free at our web address ziprecruiter dot com slash crate that ziprecruiter dot com slash c. aw aw hey thank God you got you notice. He sit that he sat one out about great recruiter dot com slash Craig ziprecruiter Sue God's Ziprecruiter Ziprecruiter go tagline alleyoop Ziprecruiter the smartest way to hire. I do coming up next and interview with airplane mode and Canada's own Kelly Kelly Olympic are we are joined now by Jerry Jones junior number five for the Miami Heat he remember five men. I wore ten when I was in Phoenix and everyone no ten. Here's retire so I just email from the raptors. Yeah I can get number ten no great player that they retired that great player that they retired that fossil Niger's cut that in half is made it far. I was listening to a press conference earlier and he said that nobody logged more offseason workouts than you this off season that they wanted you to come back. Okay like Scotty Pippin not to me look great. What was the method by the officer workouts just ahead just working on my game? Whatever I can to improve my game from my team and you know depending Jim? It is my happy play the friends I love men and the I mean I'm Jim Wreck so you may as no other place that I want to be so deep dive the strategy sometimes with my work sometimes on on the weekends I'll come in and I'll clock in and then I'll just go out and buy so. My boss thinks I'm working. Do you ever do that where you log in and then you're like go get a little breakfast you. I think he comes in. He has the clock in everyday to play basketball and then he clocks out he goes to swim outside. The water. Comes back wants to impress their boss so it's like ah clock timesheets to see you were coming in and out is because he said he logged more workouts anybody. That's that's what we call the victim the the victim. I'm really now man. I'm I'm looking at myself in the mirror there. I figured that this team seems to have a lot of gym rats. Jimmy Butler seems to be in here a lot of we all we always we got twenty four seven access not being here. I mean we hit it'd be great amistad coach. We all WanNa that'd be great so why not be working. Do you ever just like wake like during the summer with all those workouts. Was it ever just like it's I woke up. It's three am I'm just going to go up and go to the gym or is it was like normal more times. This time I will open up in my life. It was just random in the moto night and went to the gym just to get themselves just to clear my head. I mean it's it's a lot of times people I mean you're going to be no. The only thing that you can clear your head with is going to get some shots up or taking frustration and of course that's what I like to. How do you feel about your nickname airplane mode? I love it really. I love the thing about airplane mode. I like the nickname like okay D- of the nickname but airplane mode is one of the most ineffective modes for your phone. You can't really do anything it's like. I feel like it's a cool nickname but if you think about it it's like are you coming from. If you think about airplane mode you'll only be on airplane mode. When you WANNA play that's true and when you WanNa play how high or you that's how high jump now is there any chance of getting ever doing a dunk contests because I he's been in the Duncanville using runner up yet your run up two thousand seventeen and get look for me right now the good thing about this tape clean this ah edit though is that is that like a highlight three like a career high lead the accomplish your rookie year because growing up everybody I mean look at me? Look like I could ever done a basketball. I mean you never know you and your younger days you probably could we. Do you think I am saying that. I'm old ages all right. You're from Philadelphia Right. We'll wait hold on so that's that's a goal. I think everybody has like you. Do you lean pool. Whatever and you did your rookie year? Ma I mean I always told my dad that I'll be a dunk contest. One I mean to participate in it was it was a blessing in I mean I achieved being there but I didn't go so if they call me back. I'M GONNA WANNA go to my goal. How does that work? How do you get back in and they have to call you or you know telling people? Hey Man Walking Adam so he you know remember me this. I guess you just got. I guess you gotTa show out on the season. I mean whoever had the most dunks I mean whoever had the most flashy dunks fan favourite. I guess that's how they do it. You got to put on a show pregant. That's what I'm thinking. Every day you go out there and just start practicing different but you gotta do it like hours before like when you're here don't worry about shooting or any of that stuff just work on your tongs so then you can get into the Duncombe and then you can complete that promise to your dad rather than the three point contest now now we had someone on our show once compared to deandre Jordan and I know that's your more of a wing guy as well but like as far as when you get to the basket. What do you think of when when you hear someone make that comparison? Is that a terrible comparison or is it decent you mean Dunkin was just in general just like around the hoop more when you're attacking the rim. No I mean 'cause because he's more of a center. You're kind of like a wing guy. I got no problem with my God. That's similar to our game. It's totally different in and you're from Philadelphia right so like you into philly cheese steaks. Some KINDA got this guy's little business barry he cool people putting mustard on phillies. Why not discuss what is have you ever done any hold onto the Philadelphia and she's Jesus knows everything about philly cheese there? Yeah you know you can't be able to be in Philadelphia eh cheese steaks and put mustard on and think that the workers aren't gonNA come back with. I'm not a crazy person when I'm in Philadelphia value. I'm not doing that because I know what's going to happen. I'm not GONNA do it. There aren't good down here. They're not. It's not the the same at all you can do it. They're not American cheese now. I don't like that. She's I mean I've had it multiple times but now I'm not a big WISCON- girl that acceptable for you yeah of course I'm telling you right now leg about it the way that things in the way that I do this and I can't do anything she's here. That's weird like next time you get a food. Can you even eat food cheese steaks anymore. You put any foods I'm probably in the stage rocket. Eat where where would ever need to gain some weight but Nah. I try not related when you're like me. You can't eat whatever you want. No you can't metabolisms and catch up to you. I mean so you you honestly Kinda. Just answer my questions your old I mean what do you consider old. I don't know what you consider true. I mean I'm thirty two is that old wait thirty to nine thirty two thirty three thirty four thirty six and you're tired Oh look if I was a basketball player to already be towards the tail end of my career to yeah. We're going to get you out of here on this one now. We're asking everybody this if you could have your hand the condiment dispenser these are the only economists you could have the rest of your life. What five condiments are you going with? That's obviously the philly cheese steak. No probably probably barbecue saw CATTA grants. GotTa go ranch two more now's butter condom use could have yeah. I don't use butter like I mean I guess the hard hitting question I eat a lot. My Chef Turkey burgers. I I have put a little spicy may on yes it even chef. What else do you have? What are the cool perks? Do you have an NBA player. That's probably just gotTA show yes. I'm I'm trying to Philly steak and your muscles wake up in the morning techs yourself like let me get a little scrambled egg. It looks like Jesus Ah Jesus transition right here this Jesus from Derek Jesus has gone now. We're GONNA talk together. Can we talk to you that on your sister out with you. It's up to you all right. We were just talking about. I year Foodie right now. Meet someone to have my back on this because they're gusting bro you already. You're already telling there's going to be back now. He's going to stay try them. I've had them before four okay. And what do you get on your philly cheese steak. It's cheesesteak yet but you put any condiments or anything. I put mustard. Sometimes thank you thank you could I just I could just leave you can say going to a steakhouse and asked him for the catch up. This is going to be discussing the she's an stake in like some people like I knew there. Some maybe big mess cool. Yeah that's semester. We were just asking him if you could have like I I have this weird game where I'm making your hands condiment dispensers. It's the only five contests you can have the rest of your life but you get five you get them as much as you want. What what five minutes later go like what like a random guy I see guys are in good shape? You guys united whatever you want. I got a soy sauce house. We're opening. We're cracking open guys Sushi. I love Sushi now. Are you into like like do you judge me if the only kind of Sushi..
