Cause I'll bring five minutes of common sense today that will make them look like heroes in the long run. Hey, let's give our fans a discount package. We know it's only 60 games. We know you want to watch. It hasn't been a good perception that we've had. We haven't looked good in the eyes of our fans. We try to get back in the sports. Oh, yeah, let's do the complete opposite. And raise the prices. Is it? Is it just me? Am I the on ly one who thinks everybody's lost their mind in this The next time somebody tells you in sports, It's not about the money. Slap that person with a white glove because it's always and is about the money. That's all it is. They can look you in your eye, cut a promo lie and tell you something else. I don't care if it's the players, the coaches the G. M's the TV network. Whatever you want. It's all about the money, and that's it. That's all it is a money. Grab. How? How out of touch do you have to be? That people won't look and say Wait a second. You mean? I was paying less than a dollar for a game before now, I've got to pay more in a shortened season per game. After this league tried to sell me on the idea of not Ah, it's not about the money. We've got other things safety. It's safety. I tell you, it's safety. You know what? After reading that article, I needed this infected. I need somebody to spray something down of mine because it hurts right now. With all the stupidity going around. That's what's bugging.

"And those reactions build other DNA particles if the virus is in our solution those DNA particles turn out to be looking like the bar so then we can say we found borrow particles within the original sample because of all those different steps it takes us about three hours in the current methods to get the virus detected. And how accurate are these tests if if you have one and he gets positive result is definitely incorrect. Every test has false positives and false negatives so but they're pretty good so if the reaction detects of our all particle that's there than it will read Al Positive in. There is a very very good chance. Probably around ninety nine percent that the virus was in that sample there are times when contamination happens in a lab or win a samples collected perhaps That could mess up and give a false positive result but that's pretty unlikely if you've been infected. How long would you test positive for? Some people will test positive for two weeks after their infected but usually once symptoms go away that usually means that the viral infection is over and they'll stop shedding especially in their throat We are early on and I'm sure we'll get better data as we learn more. Scientists do more testing to figure out exactly how long it takes for the virus to be completely cleared. What it does look like is once someone stops having symptoms. They're much less likely to be infectious. Save said the these tests can take four hours. I can imagine in a critical situation. The clock's ticking. You want to make a decision. On a patient's treatment not can be quite long time under that some lobster trying to get down to thirty minutes or an hour. Could you just tell me about how they're managing to compress time? Yes so basically. It requires those enzymes to be changed temperature going back and forth back and forth and that causes the reaction that allows the DNA to be built that allows us to detect it so new advances in micro fluids can decrease the amount of fluid the water basically. That's needed to boil or cool down over time. So one of the companies that I'm working with as test using micro fluids to make really really small droplets of water that can be cycle very quickly temperature to allow the reaction to occur much faster. So they have it down to less than an hour Forgiving person their test results back. We're currently validating validating them here in my lab and were moving them over to the hospital soon and hopefully we can ramp up for Dutch and if they're if they're found useful. Okay we've had a lot in the K. about anti-poverty testing prime minister These antibodies tests to be a game changer. In terms of the way we respond to corona virus. The idea is they would allow us to see not just. He's got the infection but he's had in the past. I wanted to ask more about progress towards having a working antibody test and kind of what the pitcher is out there because it looks as though that's kits this companies offering services this public health labs developing the right kind of in house lab based tests. It sounds like quite mixed picture. Good good questions. So antibody tests in serology test or exactly the same so when someone gets infected they I make an antibody called I G M and that antibody can be used to detect somebody in the very early stages of infection and then afterwards that antibody shifts to a more of a response called. Id G antibody and both of those are serology type tests and we can detect those much quicker than we can't PR tests. I don't know how much of a game changer it is. But it could be but goes back to that question of reinfection if one person gets an infection and then they can't get reinfected then. A serology test could be very useful. We could use that very quickly. We can know within a few minutes twenty thirty minutes whether or not somebody had antibody to that corona virus. And if they did and we knew that they couldn't get reinfected than yes that would be a very useful tool if they could get reinfected.

"Seven G. M. as in the National Football League the move the NFL draft three years okay watch the tape yes we've inform you commissioner Roger Goodell's told teams around the league draft will go on as rigidly scheduled next month so it will take place April twenty third through the twenty fifth will be scaled down in televised in a way that reflects current conditions it was originally planned to be a big outdoor production in Las Vegas that softies in golf on the decision by the league to keep the draft where it is from a logistical standpoint from a due diligence standpoint from a tone deaf standpoint I don't see how this can go off without a hitch and we already know that it's a crapshoot as it is but we're not having those private workouts not having a chance for your doctors maybe to put hands on the whole guys or maybe get another medical report afterwards if you send somebody to another position because right now all physicians are under such stress and such strain because of his medical health crisis that we have right now anybody moving with any kind of certainty or absolute fox says to me that there's money on the line and there's deadlines that have to be met the goal of doing going will Kane on the idea that the NFL show must go on I think we have to make do do what we can to do our best and I Roger Goodell's right to move forward with the NFL draft because postponing it begs the question of until when what are we gonna be out of this when we got to get back to normalcy when can John Elway go interview players I don't have the answer to that I don't think doctor felt she has the answer to that I don't think anybody has the answer to that just yet if you don't have an answer that you have to make do from Harlem world since free agency started I bother certainly been some I haven't seen a lot of kickback it's everywhere all little nervous of what are people going to think out there guys are signing these big deals in again in our world where a lot of times the big machine of the NFL can get ripped for not doing things socially right I haven't seen a lot of that so I I do think people are enjoying it again in the in the sports world and I and I do think people enjoy the dry the worst of the pandemic is probably still about fifteen days away right and then it's how do we deal with that and that would put us literally eight nine ten days before the start of the draft and there might be a different dynamic there but at this point I think the idea of the NFL going for from a public from a sports fans rushed back right let's be clear I think people are somewhat comfortable with that again this is a by product the New World War now in player physicals not exactly ideal for NFL teams who haven't been able to get the players their facilities to after agreeing to deals one such example the ravens and Michael Brockers the defensive tackle well he's now not heading to Baltimore instead and heading back to the rams two sides did reach an agreement last week on a three year deal rockers couldn't take it a physical at their facility openly did so with an independent doctor concerns arose over a lingering ankle injury two sides couldn't come to terms on an amended deal so he's back to LA for three season cowboys come to terms on deals with kicker Greg Zuerlein and defensive tackle Dontari Poe's airline gets three or seven point five million PO two seasons at ten point five signing in education Dallas is looking to get bigger on that front line speaking of boys.

"The grand experiment now because you're one was very clearly in getting a lay of the land M. kinda yeah figuring out what what's going on tearing down some stuff but leaving you know some of the other things intact and now this season he has a G. M. he has this massive coaching staff he has his manager in place there are still some holdovers of course on the forty man roster from prior regimes but it it does feel like this is now finally in a real way far Han's ID's team and he can start to get going on this when you talk about the culture of it how have you seen a shift from year one to year two in in what you've been able to glean so far I think I know now what they're getting into okay Evan Longoria said the other day you know we know this team is gonna be constantly in flux we know there's gonna be a lot of movement and it's something that they're asking us to buy into what we're buying into it it's also you're seeing the culture from the manager that bar on deck get Kapler first no rah rah addressed the troops speech the other day was not exactly a rah rah speech he spoke for a couple minutes he essentially told the guys you know we believe in you you have any issues you come to me I'm always listening and then he left them better and speak because they know they need to listen to the players and they are trying to establish a culture where I if anyone got a problem if there's anyone that voice that's not being heard they want that voice to be heard it's no longer Bruce Bochy okay I troops and giving the cinematic you know look again I'm shocked the world type of deal right it's much it's much more a dialogue and that that reflects Kapler which reflects our Honda think that that's the goal here they want to hear from the players they want to see what they can do to improve and whoever can tell them stop by the pictures we haven't been able to get to the pitchers much yet has it is anyone caught your eye playing catch up this the pitching staff is gonna be a little bit tough to figure out at first because they always have well I think there were sort of set in stone as much as they can be a course with with the margin kwaito at the top and smiling Osman like they they brought those guys in to try to maximize them that they feel that that there's more in those arms and you know that maybe this year's Pomerantz were you know if they're actually more relevant than the old until we see something like that it's going to be and not the starter and perhaps fixed order is going to be very much in flux throughout BT has has looked good from everything we've seen and we've heard Logan web is even another one of those new pitch he's calling it a slur who they yeah they are very big and open web stuff he is as much as she won Davis is the pace of the but hating revolution they're trying to engineer that is Logan web right now but he is going to be on a pretty strict innings when it and I am with I think that he starts the year in Sacramento and they're gonna try to build him up a little bit slower it's gonna look I think the Greek piecing together a lot of innings yeah they've they've spoken about having one maybe two relievers who can throw a hundred hundred twenty innings this season with me while right which means you might have you know smiley go three innings and then maybe Tyler BT at being one of those Iggy back guys they are going to be it there is no set rotation that world does not exist anymore they're gonna be piecing it together throughout so it's tough to sort of gauge right now when it's gonna even in may it's gonna be vastly different than it was in April makes sense I know that the merger won't won't like this topic of conversation but have has there been any conversation about there I say an opener this year they're open to it I guess intended there you go I don't know if there's been firm conversation that ask Kapler about it and all yes that is if we use openers and if we decide that and everyone to be prepared and we're gonna have long conversations make sure that everyone's comfortable with it things like that so they're really doing it Jerry yes Kathleen very careful to to say that whoever if they're going to put these guys not position they will be comfortable with it but yes I am sure we're gonna see openers I am sure we're gonna see you know three innings of a starter and treating separate lever it's gonna be weird it's gonna be weird this year well it is it is wild to see how giants fans will react to this I think because it is such a stark departure from sort of the way things work I mean it is fair not the giants were one of the final hold outs of the new way of doing business in in Major League Baseball and now they're going to be getting it in heavy doses this season and there won't be a lot of wins to sort of make the medicine go down a little bit easier it right be it will be as interesting of a year from almost a sociological perspective any as I can remember in baseball and mark Sanchez "Dots probably for someone who has a ready kind of like an intermediate faster I would say I wouldn't suggest that to a beginner. Ever just trying to dipper toes rose and I want to do a sixteen to eight fasting period. People also choose like twelve to twelve fasting periods. So or a pattern so that means that your window could be like seven. Am to seven PM. That's your twelve hour window where you get all your calories salaries annually within that time period or you can eat like adm to apm so rarely the window is up to you. It depends on your schedule. Draw what your lifestyle is like what. Your work schedule's like what's really going to you so my window could be possibly six. Am to six EX-PM and that's a twelve twelve of fast or again going back to the sixteen eighty one lasting fasting period. So it really it all depends on your lifestyle how you want to ease into a but I would suggest maybe doing like a fourteen to ten pattern meaning like eating from ten. Am to eight PM to ease into it. So you have a fourteen hour window to eat. But a ten hour Fasting fasting period does that make sense and the fasting period. means you do not eat so the window. You E- you try to eat all your calories without the window and within that timeframe and then the fasting period is when you do not eat You eliminate it and for more more advanced proponents people who have been into this lifestyle. who have been doing it? Who are loving it? They may lean towards an eighteen to six pattern pattern so this means that they only eat four six hour window say two. PM To eight PM. And they fast for eighteen hours AK okay. They don't eat and the time periods set for the eating window again can be tailored to what works best for your schedule Many people consider this to be the the easiest and most sustainable approach to fasting. which again is the most common type of fasting that I have seen During my time as a personal trainer trainer and I'm a cut into our first break right now when we come back I'm going to share with these guys. the traffic and it wasn't as long a drive in I didn't have that option because I going up on a bus but I tell you something you'll once those crowds hick it was it was just an absolute mess Jim in Burlington Jim here WTMJ good afternoon no job first time I've ever called in but I I just had a call by my son and I went up to the game and we got in their truck about nine o'clock we love it when they got converted the third down you know and then ran the clock out right and we got right on a highway and kind interesting all the way back to Burlington which took about three and a half hours we counted eighteen snowplow going in the northbound lanes finds all the way through no brown county to how god gave me Connie when a bagel you'll find like a highway forty one and we did not want it run in the one in the north and the south bound lane and the roads went from okay you know as we laughed because we got all right away to all the band the horrible and is just amazing though out that we had no fault or nothing on any it'll fall palm lane withdrawal will count yeah I mean that that's right that that's the incredible thing about okay yeah the thousand people that are leaving Green Bay and you you with okay where do we need the salt trucks where do we need to play either going south or we need most of them going south so the road yeah I you don't think I'm exaggerating the roads were really at all not at all and we I kept saying you know they knew this was coming in at eighty thousand people in probably seventy five percent of them are either had none I forty three or forty one to the south to the valley yonder down by up here you know here in southern Wisconsin and the bike they did not and it was just like we're ahead crafter well thanks to call I mean it is a head scratcher because again you you knew this was going to happen and and look at I understand I understand Green Bay small town I understand it's only a couple ways in and out and I understand that it's difficult at the best of circumstances you know dry roads Sunday afternoon at three o'clock it's difficult to get all those people that are leaving it's difficult to get him out I understand that so I am somewhat sympathetic I am just saying the roads particularly the roads in brown county Manitowoc in Sheboygan county once we had sake county that the pavement was more just just wet because it clearly been solved it but that those three counties it was it was terrible and if they had sold trucks out you sure Clinton of told you you shouldn't talk couldn't hold it and if if they delay getting those salt trucks out because I don't know what what what do you think maybe it's not going to snow can't you watch the radar you everybody in the stadium we were watching the radar we're seeing the snow coming and I'm thinking okay well it's it's going to snow but it's going to be an interest or or so one to two inches of snow admittedly at a bad time should not have because you know that problem and you know a sorry saga people leaving early I I get like I said it was an option for me because I was up on a bus but I don't know if I if I if is a sports fan if I dumped all that money if you want to stay to the end don't you you you wanna stay you know it to the end some people are saying Hey you know you think maybe the guys were just there watching the Packers game and they didn't get out until after the Packers game and it well if that was the case that wasn't a very good choice bottom line is it could have been a lot worse I'm a little bit tired but back and we completely and totally enjoy the game it was a wonderful wonderful experience but this is the second time that you had minor snowfalls that have not been dealt with well by the road crews and it's kind of surprising to me because I think we do winter pretty well in Wisconsin but apparently when it comes to clearing off the freeways outside of I don't know brown county in Manitowoc county in Sheboygan county we we still have a long way to go by the way I'm also if you follow me on Twitter attach a quicker six twenty sent out a tweet the other day everybody was upset about the weather guys missing the forecast that the quiet side bus to forecast that's what they call it when weather people get predictions really wrong now Saturday heavy wind rain little bit of ice in the morning yes the day but we didn't get anywhere close to six to ten inches of snow they they missed it it was in large measure a bust forecast as I said though on my Twitter account I I kind of a little bit of slack because I would have rather them been wrong and we only got two inches then then the weather forecasters be right and we got ten inches that that's that's kind of how I I look at it if you're gonna have a bus forecast I'd I'd rather you warn us and over over hype it and then it turns out to be nothing or at least essentially nothing so I I'm not gonna Fulton too much but yeah not not a great weekend for some of the road crews in northern Wisconsin and not a great weekend for some of the weather forecasters across Wisconsin as well this is Jeff way what can you do.

"And G. M.'s and presidents doing press conferences before coaches after ten games it is not a look that players want which is why this year it was a real important year to start looking like a more competent how use franchise that was on a good path to become more attractive to free agents the next couple of summers and so far that hasn't happened in the hope that will be the next coach is getting have better results on the floor because the bottom line is that you know you have all these issues and winning solves everything and I think the only cause more palatable to players once the Knicks start winning games and that's only going to come with better coaching and better players which frankly is going to take some time maybe Mike Miller would be the answer who knows long term we're talking now like for a permanent head coach what are some early names because I've seen one and I would love if WB eight legend Becky Hammon she's got five seasons after this year of NBA coaching experience you know one will she get a real shot and if not who are gonna be some of the early names to look out for yeah I mean I I mean I'm sure the look at a great part of the justice and always have you know a lot of really good looking to see if they can you know how did it head coaches in the NBA with assistance whether it's Becky Hammon or any of the others this is our couple systems in Portland it's just hard for me to know for guys that never coached a team before women that never coaches in NBA team before too when are they going to get a cold chill backgammon could get a great head coach you might not be I didn't get in that chair I think it's it's very difficult to know how good of a coach that if this is going to be but yes you should absolutely is one of our top which is top the hurt his top assistant you should absolutely be considered I think they need to stay as far away from mark Jackson as possible I think that would be a terrible terrible idea in just a the following year one year later became the best offense in the history of the NBA and he had them write it like the fourteen that stop in the league with Steph curry and Klay Thompson yeah he active in the poor defense that's great but he took well again what turned out to be seventy one team and one like fifty two games at that so stay is and it is off the court softwares assistant coaches are like recording conversations and coaches meetings that there's a band that you want just the just Google search mark Jackson Golden State Warriors need a lot of the stuff off the court you want no part of that guy can I know we can name and fans norm you don't want any part of that I'm a sucker project and on the thing he the be a good choice east coast the U. S. junior team over the past couple years then you know that you may want to stop I think you want to do it I don't think dole will pull the trigger on that but I think you're on the right track I think you try to you know what your next president find it cold weather at the status codes before warning system like like a techie Hammond someone like that you know coach the way he wants the organization to look on the court which is why I think if you're Nick van is what you want to move better I don't think you want people to much better where Steve mills manages to keep his job this summer because I hate to say it until he's out of there I don't think there's a reason for a whole lot optimism in terms of the next selecting the right players in free agency and the draft in making smart front office decisions over the next few years so Mike Miller could you could do well but just not too well had success on sept and John it looks kind of agree with that a silly question because Mets fans prayers were answered what percentage chance do you see Knicks fans prayers being answered as well ever give me a time frame I don't I I within the next let's say mentor on the next five year plan five years in the next five years will James Dolan sell their necks I would give it a two percent chance all of the it is that place makes him so much money it's literally lost proof I'm a season ticket holder right and are you still so my tickets on the secondary market at a profit that team is been so bad if you mention for twenty years twenty years the building is always full if you're the owner of that why would you ever sell John I I hear you working on new projects with the giants could you tell listeners a little bit about that yeah absolutely I appreciate that we have a brand new podcast number with the New York Giants you got a bunch of podcast out big blue kickoff live which is our daily shows why would one thirty but also has its own podcast beat big blue kickoff a giant puddle is our interview podcast so go check it out and then every Monday or after.
