I mean that it's just been a. You know, a train that left the station and just keeps going faster and faster. And so I'm I'm just chasing after its try and. Keep laying down track in front of it. So. But I guess I should start at the beginning. Well, I think we stopped with diaper this wonderful world. It's a word. Sorry. Start because it means preferably a mom. I think he's marching specific from the readings. But. But. Yeah. Well, tell you here's the deal. So. I mean, I have a lot of ideas have come up with a lot of ideas. One of those ideas was that. I I thought wouldn't it be cute? Wouldn't it be great? Wouldn't it be fun to have an opportunity to really celebrate style? Celebrate one's own personal style. You know way that. You know, felt comfortable wasn't drawing. Attention to yourself lets. You celebrate your own personal style. And. So that was one idea also. Dovetailed into this thing where I was working at Disney, designing parks and Disney Imagineering that's the name for the division of the Disney company that designs all the Disney theme parks. They're known for these just gorgeous concept illustrations of of the designs for what would become everything in the Disney parks. And in the beginning in the early days in the fifties. Disney. Recruited, many of his really amazingly talented studio staff to create these designs. I think there were maybe being a bit cheeky in presenting the guests. Of what would become Walt disease parks as being very very well dressed when they were wandering through is the parks. And granted. Yes, everyone did seem to be much more dressed up in that period. The fifties in the sixties, but I think whilst designers and illustrators John Hanshin Herbie Reimann really did take it further, and we're showing people in these illustrations. Dressed in a way. Like they were about to go to the opera or something like that. I thought well gosh, wouldn't it just be fun? If we could make those illustrations happen because all the buildings everything else in those Illustrated's were built they happened. And they look just as great or better than those original concepts are art works. But the people never really looked like that. And so I thought wouldn't that be fun? And a friend said, you know, will what would you call it? And I said, oh, that's easy. We'd call a dapper day. And that was that was that. And then I just sat on that idea for nearly a decade because I was busy with other things. And then. At some point. I went to Disneyland with a couple of friends. And they're. Fairly stylish friends of mine. We usually dress up when we go out places, and when I showed up at the park, and I saw them they had intentionally dressed down because they didn't wanna stand out and they wanted to blend in. I know is really horrified. And I thought you know, this is not good. Not a good sign of things to come. And then while we were having fun in the park. Our saw this other couple, and I guess you would call them hipsters at the time. This was like two thousand ten or so. And they just you know, it looked like they felt uncomfortable because they were dressed from everyone else in the park and that

"Made to get this shutdown done. So that's the frustrating part of this whole thing, Tony, and I know it's frustrating to your listeners as well who who disproportionately track these issues as compared to maybe the general population. They know your listeners know that the president United States has been accommodating. He's been trying to get to. Yes, he's been prepared to make a deal a reminder. He was he was at the forty billion dollar figure. Now, we're down to just over five Bill. He's insisting on. So he's moved way is original position. So that we can keep government open. So that we can arrive at a principled compromise wake up tomorrow. And then he can argue for for their Bors border security enhancements where necessary. Moreover, he's even adopted the language the left, he's not playing at the wall anymore. So you don't listen, Chuck, Nancy, if you're more comfortable with calling it fencing, if you're more comfortable, it was it was still slants, whatever we can do to make it more comfortable for you. And members of your party to open up the government, let's do that. But let's also keep our campaign promises secure the border from narcotrafficking from human trafficking address humanitarian crisis. So I mean, we this doesn't have to be a binary issue. We can at once deal with all these substantive policy issues. In opening the government at the same time. And that's that's what he's asking for. I support him in these efforts. How.
