NFL suspends 5 players for violating gambling policy
"Three are suspended indefinitely for betting on NFL games last season and will miss next season. But I do think that would be a good thing for this group to show that they could come together and just plow through this tournament and feed. All these really good teams are going to Philadelphia who's a good summer league team coming up on Saturday as well. And then you you'll get feasibly another really good team in the championship cuz then you go right to the championship after that. So I think they can do it. I think you have enough Firepower here. They have really blown teams out just in terms of how they want over these three games. And there's enough like NBA players on this team between Fernando creature and Langford and Nesmith that they're going to be home doing it. But it physically, any of these guys can't hold up. I understand sitting some of them out down the stretch here and being more on the cautious side. It's not that important to win a championship but there's some dipped on them to now that you see how houses playing wouldn't even know about brand. Who look, I thought the best he had with the Celtics so far, probably passed jamming terms of production through the summer league right now. So long They got a nice array of pliers. Here. We'll see how it translates. But all you ask is that they separate themselves a little bit at this level and really the whole team has except the length for it. So we'll see where he goes. Yeah, young guys. I'm with you guys. I don't have anything really extra say it would just be repeating it. You know, I want to see a little bit more idling for it and I'm happy to see what I've seen. I guess you could say, you know, the final thing I'm going to say guys is that I feel like the package week, like when was it a 180 with this team and not in the sense of like I was given up, but the summer will not know. I mean the you know, what, I'm going to say, the Celtics culture altogether, right, you know, yep. And what I mean by 180, I wasn't like I thought that like I didn't expect anything from the same. I just didn't know what to expect and now I feel like seeing their seeing Jalen Brown out there, seeing stroller added to the roster 2016. This is moves has a lot to do with this. You guys do Bobby who were they're paying purchase distance. Is this a legitimate thing that we could actually say is going to form into, you know, legitimate threat for opposing team's? "Major league organizations five altogether, been covering the game forever. Not even to work. Have I been to a major league game? But I noticed that the fans coming back are There's there's something different. Maybe it's younger fans, but Post pandemic. I've noticed that the fans that are coming back and you're seeing this in stories, whether it was NBA players being spin on or having things thrown at them. I saw this video the other day of, um of a Yankee fan and some Red Sox fans. They're going back at it. But there's there's a bit of nastiness. That is going on right now that I'm not comfortable with. I don't think you should be as well. So one of the big things that people love to do. And I saw it every place I ever worked. Was getting an autograph. And and I will tell you this right now. That if this trend continues of players walking over or just standing there on the sideline, and they think they're going to get spit on or something is thrown on them. Your kid will never get an autograph again. At a major league game. Or an NFL game or seeing somebody unless you're paying $25 in their security guard right there. The days of you being able to walk up to somebody in sports and get an autograph is soon coming to an end. If this trend continues of people thinking, Hey, it's really cool. Let me go dis Alex Bergman in front of the world and then put it on video so everybody could see how cool am I can flex online and I'm going to get 25,000 people to like my video. Well, those 25,000 people might make you feel cool. But I will tell you this. There is a 10 year old That was going to go to the game the next day and ask for an autograph. And he ain't gonna get one because if I'm a player, why would I walk over there? Give anybody an autograph because Pretty much a lot of fans have shown. If I walk over there, more than likely I'm going to end up as a viral video. Somebody just making me look stupid or putting in an uncomfortable situation. Why would I go out there and do that? So if this trend continues the day and age of us being able to go and get an autograph that will lose 10 years later is going away. Why are fans showing up and acting like horses? You know what's when they go to the ball game? It's just simply enjoying it again. I told you, I'm a huge Giants fan. There's not a lot of nice things I could say about the Dodgers, and I'll blew them and I'll get on them. But this crosses the line with some of the behaviors, starting seat folks. If you buy a ticket to a game, you don't have the right. It doesn't give you a license to stand out there. And make yourself look good. If someone else's expense it's called showing somebody up. Because people are doing these things at games right now when they're heading back that they would never do in real life. And never get away with it, but somehow it's cool.
