Experts talk about the impact of Trump’s Georgia call on the Senate runoffs

"Thanks for joining us. The president is peddling baseless claims of election fraud. This time over a leaked phone call to a republican election official fueling a new political firestorm as georgia prepares for a pivotal runoff election. That may reshape. The nation's balance of power. Here's abc's steve olson. Saami it's the last push in the final hours before the us senate runoff election in georgia in the candidates in their parties. Biggest names are working overtime to convince enough voters to punch their ticket to washington our countries depending on you powers learn your head more than three million people. George already cast ballots in early voting. That took place in december. A million more than the total turnout for the last run off in two thousand eight. The choice is between republican incumbent. Senator kelly lovelier david purdue and democratic hopefuls. Jon saw and raphael warnock. The war for the majority of the senate comes down to georgia dish here and we need you all of us to stay in that breach. It looks like y'all ready for election five calls or texts today about voting. We'll keep the liberals away. It is time to vote like we have never voted before georgia. Each of them has been trying desperately to get their voters to show up at the polls second time never before has a runoff election in this state met so much it will determine who is in charge of the. Us senate sets the agenda. Who sets the policy with control of the senate on the line. People far away from georgia are all wound up in the states businesses from the white house. Twitter fight like hell. I'll tell you right to hollywood. Work isn't done. Everybody matters who wins. Get out and vote the outrage over a stunning phone. Call between the president and georgia's secretary of state. That's all the talk the night before the election. I just wanna find eleven thousand. Seven hundred eighty. You hear the president repeatedly asking brad rapids burger to give him more votes than biden's eleven thousand seven hundred and seventy nine vote lead in georgia and the hour. Long call lip brad. I gotta get. I have to find twelve thousand votes. And i have them times a lot to. What are we gonna do here. But i only need eleven thousand votes us. I need eleven thousand bucks. Give me a break. And and i'm not looking to blame anybody. I'm not just saying that you know under new cows and under new views of of the election results we won the election but rams burger who seek threats to his life over. All of this said no way. And there's nothing wrong with saying that you know that you've recalculated for mr president determines that you have is the data you have is wrong. You should want to have an accurate election. And you're a republican. We believe what we have an accident election. The georgia secretary of state continue to reject the president's wild claims of election fraud on good morning america. Did you consider it a lawful requests and the president asks you to find the votes lawyer. All i know is that we're going to follow the law. Follow the process truth matters. And we've been fighting these rumors for last two months. There are many who believe that it is no accident. That president trump is focused. Many of his claims a fraud on fulton county the largest in the state. It isn't just a blue county. It's also a largely black county and the president is being accused of trying to overturn the minority vote. Probably county is totally corrupt. They cheated like nobody's ever cheated before later. In the call. President trump even suggests that by refusing to hand the president. The november election robbins burger was hurting the chances of republicans running in the runoff. And because what you've done to the president a lot of people are going out to vote you would be respected if really respected if this could be straightened out before the election you have a big election coming up on tuesday. What's happening in georgia is a perfect storm. It is a telenovela in the making. It's gotta be confusing for republican georgia voters to hear that the elections in georgia and trustworthy at our fraudulent and have been manipulated and then wondered. Ask themselves well. Then why should i bother to tonight. President trump is still holding onto his false claims of fraud and still talking poorly about state. Officials were literally speaking truth to power. There's no way we lost your. This will be here a year and a half. And i'm going to be campaigning against your governor. And you're crazy secretary of state. We are a party of law. and order. georgia's lieutenant governor jeff dunkin who's both a republican and a trump supporter says. He wishes someone at the white house could have kept the president from making that phone. Call right before the election. What do you think about the possibility of folks looking into whether or not. The president broke a law with that phone call. I'm not a lawyer. So i'm going to let the lawyers go figure that out but i am qualified to tell you that that was an inappropriate phone. Call the longer that we try to use the excuse of voter fraud and misinformation to be the reason why we lost this presidential election. The longer it's gonna take for us to build our next platform. Duncan is part of a group of republicans. Who run this state. And we'll tell you to your face. That joe biden won the election here in that saying. So it's what's right. This is all about trust. I've got to look in the mirror. But more importantly i've got look at my three boys in the face. I spent all day trying to tell them to do the right thing. Always do the right thing. I can't imagine walking in that house one night and telling them yeah. I know i couldn't do the right thing. Today was on me. The forty five year old says. He's confident his two candidates can win despite the drama from pennsylvania avenue. I can't think of a single scenario where that phone call for. Sixty two plus minutes made any sort of difference in in getting david purdue and kelly leffler reelected but hopefully there's enough republicans at hang on tomorrow to show up and vote them in and represent our values. Historically democrats rarely win runoff elections in georgia. It's hard to get voters on the blue team to vote twice but former gubernatorial candidate stacey. Abrams says this is the year of the donkey. The national attention national investment as well as having a georgia infrastructure we were able to build a coalition in november. Is going to help come close to victory if not take it all the way. Abrams believes that her teams found the key to winning. We certainly were one of the most diverse battleground states but that diversity is only opportunity if we don't do the work to harness it. We were able to bring together. A latino population who's voting presence. Increased by seventy two percent over two thousand sixteen for asian american pacific islanders. It was a ninety one percent increase for african americans. Trump-Kemp Dispute Creates Rift Within Georgia GOP as Runoff Elections Nears

"You might need to win an election is a unified message. But Republican unity is hard to come by in the state of Georgia. Right now, President Trump has called Governor Brian Camp a fool and a clown for refusing to overturn President elect Joe Biden's victory there. Kemp says intervening in the election would be illegal and pressure over that dispute is creating a rift within the state's Republican Party just three weeks before runoff elections that will determine control of the Senate from member station to be Abie in Atlanta ever hurt reports Earlier this month, Governor Brian Kemp gave a press conference at the state Capitol about George's plan to distribute the Corona virus vaccine. Well, good afternoon, everyone. First of all, let me thank you for joining us today. Also, the elephant in the room is politics and on the Facebook Live comments. It's center stage. This man has turned his back on his Republican Party, writes one Georgian Can't believe I voted for you. Camp sellout, says another. And don't bother to run again. You're finished. Needless to say, Georgia Republicans are divided right now. Some lawmakers air calling to override the governor and back the president by demanding a special session of the Legislature. We're here in Athens today, Bert Jones with US And bring the beach part of the gang of four, putting out a petition demanding a special session. They're trying to go around the governor they need to Republican State Senators, Jones and Beach were on the John Fredericks Show and National Pro Trump Radio program. Last week, they alleged large scale voter fraud, which Republican election officials have said didn't happen. Here's beach and I can tell you if we do not fix this, and that's why I'm so adamant about this. I'm so fearful. That we're gonna wake up January 6, and we're not gonna like what happened because it's not going to be a fair election. Beach and Jones are responding to pressure from their pro trump constituents like those tearing camp apart on the Internet and calling in on this show, Let's get to the phone lines. Where we have Caroline from Sandy Springs carry these senators, some say, are ready to break the law to back President Trump. But Caroline wants them to know it's still not enough. We are mad on being very nice right now. We need you to step up into your part. We need you to stand up for us. Now. The pressure is so fierce on Republican state lawmakers, it was difficult to find someone willing to speak on the record for this story. They're worried about being targeted. But one did. My name was Chuck Martin represented 49th district up in North Fulton County. Martin is a longtime Republican. He spent 18 years in the General Assembly and wishes President Trump won the election. But he liked the governor doesn't believe the Constitution allows the Legislature to intervene That hasn't stopped tens of thousands of emails from flowing in. I'm getting an email that says, Stand true to your oath of office do this. But standing true to my oath of office doesn't allow me to do that. It's been the most frustrating moment in his public service career, he says, because some people have been completely convinced by misinformation. Like one retired army colonel who is pushing for the election to be overturned. Martin responded with language from the state Constitution, saying, Please explain how I can legally do what you're asking me to do. And instead from him, I get no How instead you know, he calls me a coward. A traitor. You know somebody that won't stand up to my oath of office. That's frustrating to me. I mean, I take this job seriously. President Trump is creating a rift in the Republican Party at a very inopportune time, says Charles Bullock, a political scientist at the University of Georgia as we saw in November of this year The Republican Party doesn't have AH, large commanding lead within Georgia, It is rarely close. It could be the kind of division it opens the door for Democrats to do very well in 2022. Jeannie Bradley is a Republican voter from helps about in Eastern Georgia. She was at a Mike Pence rally this month. And she's just confused because of the mixed messages about the election and about her Republican leaders. But we need to know more. You know, you're getting bits and pieces from all of the news media. You don't know. What to believe anymore, And it's just not the news media. It's people you know. In general, Republicans will still have her vote. But there are other people, she says, who may throw up their hands in this chaos, vote democratic or skip the election. And if Republicans lose the run offs, the big divisions that have emerged since November will likely only intensify in the GOP for NPR news. I'm Emma hurt in Atlanta

Kelly Loeffler's Atlanta mansion 'Descante' mysteriously dropped in value by millions of dollars, giving her a tax cut of roughly $88,000

"Republican senator kelly law flers multimillion dollar home rapidly depreciated in value resulting in a much lower property tax bill. Now no one can explain why especially at a time when all of her neighbors property values went up She and her husband had pumped money into remodeling this extravagant mansion. And usually when you do that the property value goes up. But i'll give you the details and you decide for yourselves. If something shady is going on leffler in her husband. Jeffrey sprecher bought a fifteen thousand square foot atlanta mansion known as discount for ten point five million dollars in two thousand nine the value of the estate as praise by fulton county government officials for the purpose of calculating annual property tax stews. Remain the same for the next seven years but then something weird happen in two thousand sixteen. The praise value suddenly plunged to four point. One five million sixty percent decline. So how does that translate to lower property tax while property taxes of course are calculated based on the value of the home and if the value of the home goes up your property tax bill goes up and if it goes down of course your property tax bill goes down now. Originally they were paying two hundred thousand dollars annually to the city and county governments in property taxes. That in two thousand sixteen after their home's value dropped. They paid ninety thousand dollars since then. The appraised value of their home has risen to roughly five million. But they're still paying about eighty thousand dollars less a year than they did when they first bought their home

"All gone too far. All of it. Joji Gentlemen today asked for Chris friends, a patriot who ran CISA to be shot. Twentysomething check and when it counted today has death threats and a noose put out, saying it should be hung for treason because he was transferring a report on batches from PMS toe account a computer so he could read it. It has to stop. Mr President. You have not condemned these actions or this language senators. You have not condemned this language or these actions. This has to stop. We need you to step up. And if you could take a position of leadership show something that was top ranking Georgia election official Gabriel Sterling Joe Degenova is on President Trump's legal team for his election lawsuits. Chris Krebs is the former United States director of the Cyber Security and Infrastructure Security Agency, who was fired from his position two weeks ago. Here's more from Sterling, Mr President. It looks like you likely lost the state of Georgia. We're investigating. There's always a possibility I get and you have the rights to go through the courts. What you don't have the ability to do and you need to step up and say this is stop inspiring people to commit potential acts of violence. Someone's gonna get hurt. Someone's gonna get shot. Someone's gonna get killed. Here to talk about what's going on in the lead up to Georgia's Senate runoff, says Emma Hurt a reporter at W A. B C. That's Atlanta's NPR station. Emma. Thanks so much for being here. Thanks for having me Jen, so just elaborate a bit more on sterling speech. What threats are election officials and workers facing the state. Yes. So he's talking specifically about a contractor in his twenties for the voting machine company that state uses. There was a video of him that went sort of viral on pro Trump social media, and there was a close up of his name badge. And so he was personally targeted. You know, Sterling mentioned a news being found outside his house. He's had death threats, said he should be hung for treason. His family has also been targeted. And this isn't the first time that there's been this kind of attack on a election worker of Fulton County election worker had to go into hiding closer to the election because he was being harassed because of a different out of context. Viral video. And I mean, our senators immediately responded to Sterling's statement, saying, We do condemn this violence. The president's campaign also said that but you know, they said, we're going to stand by our questioning of the election. We still think that things went wrong. But the president this morning didn't take that. Fact, he called the election rigged again. Which again you know, Election officials have repeatedly said, isn't true. So it zip it of chaos right now. Well, as you say the allegations of widespread misconduct are simply not True, but is that clear to voters in Georgia? Yeah. I mean, that's the question, and unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be to some voters on down in Georgia and across the country, even though these messages about there being no evidence of widespread voter fraud have been consistently coming out of Georgia's Republican controlled secretary of state's office. Those officials are now being attacked from the right for saying that by supporters of the president who believe that the election was rigged and that there were problems President Trump called our secretary of state, the enemy of the people. That's someone that he endorsed and who endorsed him on DSA. So it's the Republican officials are trying their best to counter this misinformation. Starling called it a game of whack a mole, but you know, it's a difficult, you know, you wonder if voters will hear that if they're already Questioning those officials personally, will they believe them when they tell them that there have been now two recounts in Georgia? What's the latest? Yes. So we had a hand count that was part of a state wide audit last week, and this week is the kind of formal recount by machines scanner that the Trump campaign requested. What we heard this morning from the secretary of State's office is that it's on track and that they're not seeing any Signs that the voting the vote totals might change by very much at all.

"I'm actually stunned that we'd have to even go through this hand count, but we took it as a dictator mandate from the Secretary States and what we gotta do it. Let's do it so First order of business is to find a location that would be big enough to accommodate everyone. So we Contacted the Georgia World Congress Center entered into Lisa in space and then Too, so we could get set up there have diagrammed where the tables and chairs would be too in common to accommodate. The people who would be actually tabulated the votes monitoring the tabulation and we've had monitors to monitor the monitors, so it was a fairly detailed operation. So once that was done, we were given a deadline. This is the other counties were we immobilized and actually began counting hours were from 7 A.m. to 5 P.m.. We employed utilized rather some 300 plus people. More than half of them were county employees who graciously graciously volunteered Tol, Pa. And so with that number of people we were able to set up about 170 stations. Within the World Congress Center and the Good news is we were able to work Saturday from 70 and fancy M. Monday, and the good news is that we completed our hand counts early, ah lot earlier than we had anticipated, and this is all due to the great work of County employees and the volunteers and get that agreed to work with us, Vila Real labor of love for us, but a successful and count everyone. My guest is none other than the chairman of the Fulton County Border Commissioners, Robb Pitts. How did you feel when just the whole process was questioned in your county? I've been involved in politics for a long time. And then every election every will always be allegations of some wrongdoing. But I can tell the people of Fulton County that I have no knowledge have no sense that anything of a sinister nation nature took place. Can there be a ballot here? There where there was maybe suspicious? Absolutely. But even when and not been involved, personally been involved in a couple of recounts throughout my career. And recount. There's most substantial change during every count. If so, in this process of hand counting of all of the ballots that were cast and closely captain E. November, 3rd My guess is based upon my experience that there will not be a substantial difference between hand counting ballots and the balance that would comment by the the computers from Fulton County's point of view. I have no reason to believe had no reason to believe. Do not have any reason to believe that there was anything of a sinister nature going on. I go from day one. Must insure that our process was open A fair and transparent, So chairman pits and what do you say about the numbers of people who just came out to vote in Fulton County? Well, I think we had a lot to do You know what? Based upon the challenges that we faced back in June, and I took it personally been the face of the county even though the what happened? Was not the fault of Fulton County. Everyone locally nationally and even international. They were pointing their fingers, absolutes and county and again I take it personal. I said, Well, whatever challenges are whatever they're saying, We're not gonna complain. We're gonna Review the situation they get ready for the big dance too big past meaning ready for ready for November? 3rd. That's exactly what we did. In two or three areas, in particular number one with respect to polling places. Where people actually going vote on Election Day we increase the number of polling locations. By 91 meeting that we had 255 and increase of 91 between June and November 3rd. The second thing that we did was the training of the poll workers. In the corporate community stepped up really, in a big way to help us There was some 6000 citizens who volunteered become poll workers. We ended up using 3000 poll workers. We also, uh Placed a lot of drop boxes around the county. So that people who wanted to vote I have some key ballot but did not trust the Postal Service. We placed his drop boxes and convenient locations around the county so that that wasn't option. And lastly, we purchased two mobile units with people really Down very useful as well. And we we would deploy those wherever there was a backup. I mean, a crown or some technical problem that would come up. We could deploy A telephone call those two mobile units and one end of the county to another. So we were just I mean, we took. We didn't Cried because of the criticism. I said Look We're being criticized. It's not our fault. But let's take it and get ready for November 3rd and we did. And we had a very, very successful election on November 3rd and we're getting ready at that time. When the director came down from the secretary of state that we're gonna have to do this manual recount we were preparing for the runoff for the December 1st. He left into filled the unexpired term of late Congressman John Lewis, the sea. We're also getting ready for a, uh, run off for the state Senate district 39 FT. In addition to that, a public service commission seat and the Big Two races for us on January 5th would be the two Senate races. So we had our hands full..

"Opportunity. Mary go. All right, everybody. We've got a lot to cover a lot to cover. And you know, what you're not cognizant of in on the other side of the radio is that we really try to cram in this information in the short period of time that we have we have seven minutes segments. Generally speaking between commercials in news and things like that. So the information that I try to push to you. I have to really be specific and hard hitting on it. So that you get it in the time period that we had a lot of people say, hey, three hours. That's a lot of time. That is not a lot of time. I can barely get to you the information. I want to get to you within that period of time deal of the decade. I didn't mention to you before is in Fulton County and one in Cobb. Interestingly enough one is new construction one's a resale right near SunTrust park. Really, really, really good deals. I'm telling you, you gotta get in on those while you can in the markets changing slightly that will work to your benefit. And I'll tell you why. When we go into the deal the decade at one o'clock. Okay. How are you sister? Marie gradings. I have a question about a home that I wanna buy. It's a relative home. But over the years, they have added on and these additions were not permitted. Would you say that it would be better to help them to get a permit or go ahead and have them tell them all before I purchased? No. So let me ask you this were they structural. They are they are. And what it what is it? What did they add? They actually added apart to the roof to make an upstairs, and then also an extra room on the back, and it's a pretty large sunroom type. All right. Is it in a subdivision that has come in at some restrictions? No. It's in it's on a private property. All right Polk County what I would do if you really want this property. I would say listen, we're going to have to have the county come on out and look at this. Okay. You know what I'm saying? And that way. The county the county what they really care about is square footage. I'm just gonna tell you. Now, do they really care about how was constructed whether or not it meets code? They will say they do. And that's the pretense on under which they come out. But the true reason is because if you're adding square footage, you're adding. More tax money more tax dollars. That you owe the municipalities. Let's see what I'm saying. So all right. The truth is they may already know somewhat because neighbors call you know, when I was thinking of that, they must have aerial views. Well, if they've done a new assessment, they may have aerial views, and they may actually be taxing on the new square footage. Even though they don't know really how much it is. Sometimes they guess I look in these tax records, and I'm thinking that person has does not have that amount of square footage. So sometimes I guess, but I would just call the county and ask them some questions and say if someone has done some work, and it's not permitted, and I want to buy it. What's my safest route? How that's great. I thank you for the information. I'm not gonna hold you know, you have. No, no, thank you for your call. That's really important. Good information. Thank you. All right. Have a good day. You also. All right. Four zero four eight nine two two seven zero three. Yes. I do have a lot to cover. However, I do want to tell you that. This is your show you hear del Killian say Dur bozeman, you hear all of us say this the sisters in law. This is your radio station. That's the one thing. We pride ourselves here at W A. Okay. That this radio station belongs to the listening audience. You make us you break us. Tell us what you want and we do comply. We are really catered to our listening audience so call in if you have any questions because that's the purpose of the show is to get you the answers that you need. I love love love it. When people call me during a week, and they say, hey, I've got this problem or can you help me out with this situation? Sometimes they are huge. Like, really huge. And then sometimes they're just something. I could really like this past week. It was so heartwarming. This gentleman came any made an appointment came in. He brought his paperwork. I said bring this bring all your paperwork. He brought it. We sat down. I looked at it must've, sir. You are good to go. You have no problems. Here's why XYZ boom, boom, boom. These are all recorded with the county. You are golden and I explained to him why? And what they all meant, and he left happy and his mind was at peace and is like again, he was like what do I owe? You appreciate that. I said nothing, but I tell you what you can do. And then I'm gonna tell you why I say this all you agents out there, you know, this. But it's really good for the listening audience to know this as well. I say it's better if you go ahead and make a contribution to a nonprofit organization for the time that we spent here. So I encouraged him to go to Jose helps. That's the one I helped that's the one I support and make a contribution based upon whatever you feel this appointment was worth. And he did how great was that? Right. Let me tell you. Why don't take money unless I've done a substantial amount of work, and you pay me because I have to filter it through the brokerage company. And sometimes it's just not worth doing that. I have worked on huge commercial deals. I've gotten like fifteen hundred two thousand years ago that had to filter through it was worth filtering through the brokerage company. One hundred two hundred one fifty that's not worth me, filtering it through the brokerage company. I'd rather you take that money and contributed to a nonprofit organization. Four zero four eight nine two two seven zero three any questions or comments. We're here for you today. Live and available until three o'clock real estate one to one back in a minute. Mary.

"And the other was from baton rouge louisiana he's three young black men i had families they had wives they hid children and i never heard anything for from black lives matter are the commonality was that these two young black men these courageous black men were defending their communities as police officers philadelphia fulton county in in georgia and baton rouge louisiana there was no no concern towards them because even though they were black they wore the police uniform and the hatred for police in this country it's it's a disease and it's a serious disease and we need to just as we have learned to to thank service personnel for what they have done for us in sometimes far away battlefields we need also thanked police officers what they do for us every day of the week you know every day at a point after by hitler nicole out and i i'm tom thank you well for example i believe last year and i don't have the numbers in front of me there were about one hundred police officers killed in the line of duty this nutjob librarian writes that somehow nurses and came garbage men a garbage collectors that that they are their jobs suggest is dangerous well i will god no no he no he was excellent i think we you give garb you give garbage collectors the respect nurses i love neurosis but and and nurses sometimes have been hurt in their injured job but there on the danger that they face or could face on any given day pales in comparison with few exceptions for what police officers could face an angry after all doing critical critical jobs for the community hey john away pass my break i'm sure way thanks janet what what what it wasn't like i guess did you like it and calling it an olympic era of what a get along with that well this points of alas who were a dozen i don't want to lose you from boston sean okay thank you very much i can't later that you're much 6172544400 thirty triple eight 99 1030 busy box office open it up first time tonight yes.

"And so the phone county commission led by chairman john eaves who by the way is running for mayor and the city of atlanta i have called into question not only the assessments but the credibility of the board loyd that actually assesses the property properties for fulton county they have asked the board that makes these assessments to quote immediately rescind those assessments and and and there are actually you know really taken them to task over this well the board the phone county board of assessors has said this was thursday they had a meeting yesterday there like now we're not we're not they didn't say now they said we're not ready to do that yet so apparently they need to spend some more time reviewing what their legal requirements are and all of that but they essentially delayed any decision to rescind until next thursday so they say they're going to meet again next thursday to make this decision at one of the board members from the fulton county board of assessor so remember right now this is sort of fulton county commission versus fulton county board of assessors so why one of the board members from the board of assessors rj mars is already said he's in favor of granting a request to rescind but uh some of the others have said no one guy dillon freeze says the issue isn't with the assessments it's what the tax commissioner cities and schools wants to levy in terms of taxes so he says in other words the property values are what they are if if that's gonna caused the taxes de too high you need to look at how much tax is being requested right so he's trying to pass the buck and then as several other of them have made other comments in and around the the the assessments being fair market value and things like that so there defending at to some extent but again for fulton county commissioners not happy not only john eaves beside the others as well let me see if i can find a quote from a l s is one of the other guys who is on the phone county commission at very very unhappy saying it's a blatant disregard for all tax payers it's a crisis eaves they're all thing i hope they come to their senses and changed if you're in fulton.

"For folks living and fulton county they got their tax if you have a home you own a home in county you just recently got your property assessment bell that tells you the value of your home that's the amount you pay your homeowner's taxes arm and they were incredibly high these bells way higher the assessments not the bells but the assessments were way higher than i mean significantly than they had been in prior years the i think they had been further than for a couple of years or the increases were very let all and all of a sudden this year they're saying about a quarter of the three hundred eighteen thousand residential parcels infocomm had assessments that were up fifty percent or more so in other words if they add one point had said your house was valued at one hundred thousand it went up up fifty percent from nine hundred and fifty thousand will you which means the amount of taxes you're gonna pay is fifty percent higher that's a lot for that's a quarter of the properties at fifty percent or more half of the properties up at least twenty percent and some people saying there were up seventy five percent one lady woman named william percent says her assessment went up more than two hundred percent mild right this is going to hit people right in the while it right in the pocket buck as they say in philly don't say pocketbook anywhere i'll make us ninemonth as pocketbook ray initiatives and fell and you don't even say pocket buck pa abubakar back the very thoroughly thing right and talk about this issue you and fought in county i think you need that term jesper this story the book your free to spread that around in any case the the heads of the fulton county commission when they realized this was happening and actually the city of atlanta they wanted to stop because this is really there are people that could potentially lose their homes ever this if you have a home that you buy you know many many years ago when it was very inexpensive and all you're doing is senior citizens just paying taxes and all of a sudden the property value goes up two hundred percent you can't pay that tax bill anymore you lose your home so this to be really dramatic for people.
