"Here's Larry Kudlow. Welcome back, folks. I'm Larry Kudlow. This is the Larry Kudlow show and continue. It's an honor to be present broadcasting. On this commemoration day remembering 9 11. We're going to bring in my brother Steve Moore from FreedomWorks and Committee to unleash Prosperity Hotline and all things that are good. Uh, Steve, I know you're You've got a show coming up after mine. Um, a very interesting point made by investor Jim Yuria. I don't know if you know, Jim, or you've probably seen him. Nice is terrific. But we were talking about 9 11 and just on it narrower point But his point was, um 9 11. The government response. Certainly the economic response. Was, uh, big government policies. Bigger government and I chimed in. You know, that's an interesting point. Because From Reagan to 9 11. We had smaller government policies. We have less taxing. On the whole less spending, certainly domestic venting and and fewer regulations. That 9 11 was a turning point. And since 9 11 We've had, you know, much less than historic economic growth, productivity growth. We had a nice run up in real wages after the trump tax cuts, Uh, but the point is, sort of like the ideology changed. And we seem to be, you know, backs more than ever with what Newt calls big government socialism. On big government prevailed. Well, that I think there's a lot there. And in fact, I would refer people, um, your listeners to the front page story in the New York Times. I think it was earlier this week and it said Cradle to grave Government is back. Yeah, yeah, And you know, they mention that you know everything from prenatal care, too. And all your healthcare all your education costs from pre kindergarten all you can relieve your student loans. Everything's gonna be paid for by Uncle Sam. And there is a real push to create cradle to grave dependency. I think I think You know the Democrats don't see anything wrong with that. Um, but you know, I would have one thing just because we do celebrate. Or commemorate, uh, 9 11 today. Obviously it is amazing. What was the doubt back? Uh, in 2000. Lot of you know, there he was probably 10,000 or something. Yeah, I'm good. I'm gonna look while we're talking because it's the stock market is way up since then, exactly exactly. And I just wanted to say that You know, don't ever bet against America, Right? Don't ever bet against America because you know we mentioned before on your show. Reagan came into office. But that was at 1000. And then I think it was probably discussing I think was around 10,000 or self in at the end of the you know the Clintons boom that we had the stock market. Side. Clinton was a genuine kind of limited government. You know what? Centrist Democrats? Um uh and now we're 35,000. So you know this we I just marvel at our businesses or entrepreneurs are CEOs that how great they are creating Companies and maintaining profits. If that's what we've been through 9 11, then the housing collapse. And, uh and then, of course, you know the Covid three incredible crises over the last 20 years and yet Our business is still figure out how to make money. You're right. I'm looking at a long term chart and It's a little hard to see. But I think around 9 11 and the Dow dropped. I think you're right to about 8000. So it closed at 6 34,007 on Friday. It's gotten as high as 35 a half 1000. I had Kevin Hassett and James Glassman on. Yeah, I was watching. There's a lot of fun. Uh and Ken Rogoff wrote the op ed piece. Uh, off is not a supply sider, but I was quite interested that he wrote that So America is despite it all you're saying Don't don't bet against America. Absolutely. But we do have concerns about the direction here. Do I mean cradle to grave is right. I mean, I kind of like the the sound bite from Newt Gingrich. You've got big government socialism. In Washington versus free enterprise capitalism, you know in the private sector, which will drive us to greater and greater so that battle is joined. And the question is, how is it going to turn out? Well, I think this is the issue of our time. I mean, the next three or four months as I've been saying, it's the war of the world. We have to stop this bill. You know, every time I look here, new details from my sources on Capitol Hill. I mean, the Democrats are literally every dig bad idea They've ever come up with the last 40 years in this bill, so there is paid parental leave and this businesses there is Step catching unrealised capital gains. At least they want to put that in the bill. They do want to get rid of right to work laws and funny. I mean, that's just little examples. And I think we have to defeat this bill because If this passes, we will be you and I and others will be spending the next 10 or 15 years trying to get rid of the damage. What it's a lot easier to keep something out of a building than to, you know to get once it's law Once it's law, for example, Eric if we pass paid parental leave, What do you think the chances to get rid of that? Never You have no becomes one of these entitlements. And that's the Democrat's strategy, by the way, what they want to do and health care. I mean, they basically want to nationalize the health care system. I saw you. I heard what you said about the price controls they want. Price controls are medical devices they want, you know, they want every single thing in the healthcare industry. They want price controls that which is really scary because the future of medicine is new innovation. And if you put price controls on these things that stunts.

"Let's pick up some of your phone calls here and get your thoughts on some of these various issues of the day. David in Woodland Hills. Hey, David, what's on your mind today? Tom? I think I may have come up with a way for the dem for Nancy Pelosi to get the nine Democrats in the fold. And that is she needs to pull them into her office and say we will replace the funding you're getting from these conservatives and the good billionaires have Have to be the ones who come up with the funding and we the American people can contribute to their campaigns to. It's not just the funding David. It's like this ecosystem, The support ecosystem. These members of Congress. These people like Kurt Schrader, here in Oregon, these so called conservative Democrats. There's nine of them, maybe 10 of them. They're not just having their campaigns funded by, you know, like Wall Street front groups like no labels, and you know the so called problem solvers. They're also looking at when they leave Congress. Being able to be guaranteed essentially in a million dollars a year job. It's some fancy law firm or lobbying operation or whatever. If they advocate for the fossil fuel industry. They may get you get a job with ExxonMobil. Or if they advocate for the big banks, you know Goldman Sachs might catch them when they leave. There is no short the defense industry has no shortage of X. Politicians, you know, employed by them, for example, so you're absolutely right. And I thought of that, too, And that is part of the equation. The good billionaires are going to have to come in on that one, and I think it's worth the try. Well, it's a tough one. Because what you're saying David and I get it. I totally get it. But what you're saying is okay. The Supreme Court corrupted this political system where the citizens united and the decisions that preceded it the legalized political bribery, so we just need to get it into the political bribery game and do it better than the Republicans. And I don't think we'll ever be able to do it better than the Republicans because the Republicans officially represent the fat cats and the billionaires. Yes, there are some progressive billionaires out there, but they're few and far between out of the 1000 or so billionaires have gotten the United States. I doubt there's more than 20 of Right it is. It's a tough one. But I say I still say we do it and then work to change that. Supreme Court edict. Yeah, Yeah, I that Is should be at the very top of our list and in fact, in a part of that gets overturned by House houses. Senate Bill number one you know before the people like which is why FreedomWorks and Trump and all the right wing billionaires are so aggressively opposed to it. And that's why Joe Manchin and Kirsten Cinema Christian Cinema is another one of these on the take. Democrats. Why they why they refused to to end the filibuster. Because I mean the filibuster would mean that you could actually pass a law that would blow off the Supreme Court President David Thank you, Robert in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Hey, Robert, what's on your mind today? Well, Tom, I just wanted to call in and share my point of view. I think the reason so many of the corporations and the anti-vaxxers and I'm not going to wear the mask set. Get away with what they get away with because Largely, they do is because in this country You're allowed to kill as many people as you want. As long as you do it over a long enough period of time told me if you do it all at once society steps and says, Hey, we've got a problem with this well, like the tobacco industry, Although the gun industry I mean there's a whole lot of at once killing going on there. We tolerate that too. Well, that's true. We can't even get a three day waiting period for for the sale of guns so that people can cool down before they go Do something hot headed That's true. It's like it's money in politics. Robert is the is the poison at the core of all this and the big money in politics. People want politicians in place who will continue the deregulation and will maintain their tax cuts, and that's not Democrats. And that's why the these big money operation me go over and look at the FreedomWorks website. You know they're all over trashing Biden and been promoting vaccine hesitancy or as close as they're They're willing to dance to the edge of that line. You know if his tyranny don't you know it's terrible thing. And and this is all you know, being promoted by. Well, Here's the newsletter from the writing today, Right? This is the music top news headlines in the far right for the rest of us, Um, the American thinker. The headline vaccine mandates may herald the end of the Republic. From the New York Post. This is owned by billionaire Rupert Murdoch. Vaccine mandates are cruel stick to beat people with the headline over at report frightening warning about covid injections ignored by government and big media. Um, the information liberation. FDA approves Pfizer Jab despite control group being compromised Fox News elitist Democrats want you to shut up and obey. The Federalist America's Afghanistan failure as a call to clean House Big League politics. Why are Afghan refugees brown people being resettled in Texas? And why those two are not about the Kobe? But you get the point? There is huge money behind trying to crash this economy to get the Democrats out of office and replaced them with Republicans. Well, it's all about power. Those that have it will do anything to keep it and it's sad But true, are you Even good people often when they get to a position of power, eventually cross ethical lines, which is that not everybody, but but some do. And I'm sad to say this. I almost think Ai is the answer. And I can't believe I'm saying that in terms of some sort of governance, but It's ridiculous. The other problem is who programs the A. I I mean, you know that memory. Remember, IBM had to shut the program down because the little A, I bought turned into a screaming, flaming Nazi racist. Cause he was just reading enough stuff on the Internet. And that seems to be the majority of what was on the Internet. Apparently, but I get I get what you're saying, Robert. Thank you for.

"Brad Stags in for Rick Roberts. Today I usually do the daily mojo over it. Mojo 50 calm We are taking your phone calls. Also have Sara Anderson on the line with us from Freedomworks started work. She's the director of policy there. We've been talking about. What's happening in Georgia on the fifth, which is next Tuesday on I don't know if you heard this one or not, Sarah, but the judge, there's a judge in the The case down there they were trying to purge 4000 voters from the state roles before the before the runoff. She refused to do so. She also refused to recuse herself from the case because she is the sister of Stacey Abrams. Down there in Georgia. So At least the Democrats are keeping it all within the family. Yeah, I mean that. That's par for the course to them, so I wouldn't be surprised. Yeah, exactly. And so here's the thing And I'm like I've for the past week. I may have sounded like Debbie Downer to a lot of you if you're listening, but one of the things you can do. I don't want you to think it's hopeless. There's always hope FreedomWorks is a great organization that actually does some a great watchdog work on the federal government. And tries to keep them in check, Although it's getting more and more difficult. I know that especially when it comes to the money that they're spending Sarah, do you remember a time when we actually used to get worried over the national debt? Yeah. I mean, I remember a time where it was, You know, a center point of the Republican platform. And now it seems like, you know, we're dealing with phony money, and I get it The pressure to, uh, you know, send a not to get, you know, negative media coverage for cutting this program or if you get rid of this, you hate poor people, or you hate to single people or whatever it might be. But at the end of the day, you know a lot of the stuff that the federal government spends money on. No government period should be involved in even at the state or local level, let alone the federal government. So it's not that you don't wanna help X Y Z class of people. It's that it's far far far better left to the private sector, so Republicans need to get comfortable with saying that again. Andrea lies ng that actually, the more money we take out of the private sector and make the government spend on program. The worse it's gonna be for the people that they're trying to benefit because of course, we know how much waste is in the government and would be far far better done to the private sector. Which again it's amazing because we've got the stimulus package that was passed. The president signed it, and it's so the this money's going out there. It's money that we don't have. It's why I think $2.5 Trillion, which adds I don't think it's actually been tacked onto the national debt yet because the national debt clock still says $27.5 trillion By the time this is tacked on, we're looking at close to 30 Trillion, which is a joke when it comes to trying to ever zero that out. S o with this stimulus package. How do you at at Freedomworks? I mean, what's the What do you even do to begin to go? Combat this because it's just they are their drug and sailors at the at the national level. They're just they're spending money that we don't have. And it's not even that They're printing it. Now. It's just digital credits. How do we fight this? Right? Um, I mean, I think almost at the core of it, it's Those people have to get a grasp on how much money actually is, you say? 20 trillion two trillion one trillion 20 billion. It all sounds like the same number two most people, and that makes sense. It's such a such a large number. You can't even really fathom how much money $2.5 million is versus, like you said will be close to $30 trillion in national debt. But the important part is that it is money that we do not have. But I always just think about you know, it's Our national debt, you know, were able to sustain it at this point, because other countries trust that we're good for it. But think about if you if you had a friend who's always going further and further and further into debt, and then you know, they say, Oh, yeah, I'll go. I'll go to this concert with you next week just bought me the $200. I'll pay you back. But they have not paid you back for the past 20 years of your friendship, you know? Are you really gonna trust them to do it? And how long until you say actually? Hey, no. And by the way, you owe me everything back. You know, you can't. It's really not just similar from that, and that the more the United States kind of keeps the track record of actually not seeming to care about. How much money is borrowing from others At some point the rest of the country they're going to say, Hey, we don't trust this. And that's when you have a big problem on your hands. Here is one of those fun facts about a trillion dollars if you stacked a trillion dollar bills. Just what on top of each other, the column would reach into space 67,000. Miles. That's just $1 Trillion bills. I mean, s so you take 30 times. I mean, it's just staggering. How much money Quite literally astronomical. Yeah, it really is It Z..

Really understands the political dynamics that are going there He is, of course, the legislative director at FreedomWorks and Jason, Let's Thanks, Bruce. Well, thanks for joining us, But let's get right into it because we got a lot I want to cover with you. There is a $1 trillion spending bill in front of Congress that everyone is trying to rush through, and we are opposed to that, of course, at the Ready to unleash prosperity and also at Freedomworks. What? What are you hearing? What do you telling members of Congress? And is this gonna pass s o. I mean what we're hearing that you might have heard the problem Solvers Caucus, which is a group of bipartisan group of House members rolled out with a group of senators bipartisan group of senators a $900 billion covert emergency relief proposal. They did this earlier earlier this week or so, and, you know, basically, we have 150 billion set aside for state and local governments. Another $180 billion set aside for unemployment insurance and then more money for paycheck protection program. And it's a It's a large list of basically spending at with. We have seen no tax of legislation or anything like that. Which is pretty much the par for the course in Congress. You don't get to see the bills. You're gonna vote on our take a position on before you know, before they hit the floor and most in many instances Uh, you mean, look, Steve, I mean, like, you know, Can you tell our listeners who are the Republican understand Democrats being for a trillion dollar spending bill? I can't understand why Republicans would be who are the Republicans? That are trying to sell this big, enormous obese package. Yeah. I mean, look, I mean, it's the problems solvers Caucus members. I mean, Tom Reed is a congressman from New York. He's he's the Republican co chair of the Problem Solvers Caucus. And, um, there are other members of the problem solvers caucus as well, who are who are supportive of this effort? In on the on the Senate side. Susan Collins is obviously a part of this, You know there there are some weeks of Bukowski and another one who are who are supporting this effort. And look, Steve, I mean $3.1 trillion deficit last year. That's what we had after $2.4 trillion of coca relief spending, and you're looking at already looking at a $1.8 trillion budget deficit this year. Most of us cannot fathom the amount of money that large on get Congressman like it. Keep spending like there is. There is no Brill amount of money. But the money is all fungible like it doesn't exist. And it Zez profoundly irresponsible what they're doing, and they're going to push this back up next going into this year again. As I said, $1.8 million. We're looking at something closer to 2.5 trillion, probably even more. Probably closer to three Children. By the time it's all said, and done because Congress keeps spending this money we don't have. It's ridiculous. It's fiscally responsible, and it's frankly a moral. So you know, Jason, we're holding you responsible for stopping this dreadful bill. So I don't have too much pressure on you working on think that do you think we can have physical common sense prevail here? And what is the White House's position on this? The White House. I mean, the White House's position has been. It's be honest with you kind of it's been it's been mixing. The president had said before the election that he wanted a big package. And now we're hearing that the president the president has, uh, did they? Well, they were really hearing much of the president himself. The White House. As you know, Steve has some great fiscal conservatives who worked there, particularly in the Office of Management and Budget. And they obviously don't want to don't want to spend you know substantial amount of money, and we're hoping that they they ultimately prevail on that The president will be to this thing, but, you know, I mean, the seems like the bipartisan push for more money is what's what's prevailing in Congress right now. Hopefully we can kill this thing. And keep it out. But look, it's it's gonna be. It's gonna be tough. We need voices. We need people calling in the congressional offices right now, Right? This second telling these guys they both know that this is what you're doing on this. By the way, I'm just gonna go on the record as a Zagat who's worked with Donald Trump in a big fan of his. I just pray that he does not one of his final access president is a $1 trillion spending bill. That's not gonna help the economy. I mean, we got a healthy economy right now. What one that's rapidly improving without the stimulus, and I don't understand why Republicans want to bail out blue states. But obviously I the other big thing that's going on that politically, that everyone's paying attention to is what's happening. Jason in your home state of Georgia, we all have a couple minutes left. If you just give us your Right. I'm the ground assessment of what's happening in that race. We'll look a lot of people the media was saying in advance that this is the Republicans had the edge here. And, uh, you know, after election night when, when Trump lost Georgia, I think the narrative On the ground has been that this is really a true toss up here between Kelly Wessler and Raphael Warnock and David Perdue and Jonah's off and that it means you're looking to. It's a trite no were overstated that saying in politics that it all comes down to the turnout, But in this case, it mean it really does. I mean, it's a toucan get their base out and what we need right now in Georgia's Republicans to come together, realized the cops the common threat, which is you know Kamala Harris having the tie breaking vote divided Senate and that's not just unacceptable and Republicans in the rear Lives out here in my home state where I still live and get Kelly, Kelly Leffler and David pretty re elected for another another six years in the Senate. We have to have that and we've gotta be able to stop him. Kamala Harris from you know, being the tiebreaking vote to eliminate the filibuster, for example or report the people say that you know, producer is the stronger of the two candidates..

"Today. She's a little under the weather. I'll be here tomorrow as well. And on the line right now is Jason Pie with real marks and Jason. Good morning betting out. How are you doing there? Sir? I am doing quite well. Thank you for well. Given the circumstances we're under right now. But I'm sure you've got some thoughts about that before we get started. I noticed on your bio that you graduated from Eagle Landing high school. Is that a Christian school? No, it's not. So there's even finding Christian Academy, which is down in McDonough, which is part of the Eagle's landed about this church. But I went to Eagle's landing high school, which is a public school. Just thought I'd ask. Okay. I'm very involved in linear Christian Academy and flowery branch, better known as Gainesville outside of Gainesville. But anyway, Jason, tell us what? Tell us where you are in all of this, Joe, I know you were born in Atlanta. I believe. But what? Where are you on all this? Well, look, I mean, why I still live in Georgia without Covington not commute back and forth to DC toe to do my job for freedom works. But look, I mean it Z gonna be AH, pretty fascinating. Next guest month and a half with With the right to run off that are slated as they're scheduled to happen on January. 5th on and looked FreedomWorks through a political action committee is planning on being very involved in these runoff. Hopefully, with some events coming up, and we're doing a lot of door knocking already on better Atlanta and other parts of Georgia, Augusta Savannah and a few other places trying to get voters toe get the base to turn out. Get them out to vote. These runoff elections because, you know, keeping keeping control of the Senate, I think is a very big deal. My job as the vice president of legislative affairs, which means I I front face with Congress. I know my job a lot easier if I have a Republican Republican Senate compared to a Democratic, so you know if you look at what's going on in and around Atlanta, because, quite frankly, Atlanta that in the metro area that's who's going to probably maybe I'm wrong. You can help me here is probably going to make the decision because they've got after the Half of the votes in Georgia have five. And what is it 5.5 million people in and around Atlanta, and that's to me got that's a problems of door knocking is great. But Stacey Abrams seems to have the money and the the The people in line the organization. What do you think? Get no, I mean, well, that's one thing I often hear from past the left office and talks about money and politics, but they don't but they always leave out is the money's phenomenally on their side. Uh, hey, it's pretty funny that Yeah, we get it like freedomworks, another other groups on our side to get accused of, you know, just pouring money into races to be Democrats. It's I mean, what do you look at some of the races around the country and how much money was spent it'll? It's kind of eye popping. You had $160 million spent main trying to be Susan Collins, and they still lost. They lost by not points, but For sure. I mean, Democrats in not just in Georgia, but around the country seemed they sense an opportunity here on the peach state on they're gonna pour ungodly amounts of money into into those two races. Torto, get the get what they need. Tonto. Toe make Chuck Schumer majority leader. And look, I don't have to tell people I shouldn't have to tell people. What's his stake here. I mean, what is taken very simple. I mean, you have if if you have a 50 50 senate? Yes, it Z That is a very divided Senate equally, but you're still gonna have a B in position where Kamala Harris is breaking a tie. On that tie breaking vote could be cast or things like in the filibuster, which would eliminate the 60 vote threshold needed to move piece of legislation. The final passage and if you eliminate the filibuster, you're opening the dam is broken and Um you know, Democrats conduce a lot of different things that they may not otherwise be able to do Such a raising taxes such as packing the Supreme Court, such as You know, pushing through Joe Biden's radical environmentalist, and those are the things that that we're facing down in this race, and I see a lot of motivation on the Democratic side and Republicans, I think, need toe need to kind of, uh, Start lighting a fire six. Tonto really put a fight here and we're talking with Jason Pie with Freedomworks who's very actively involved in this Georgia race, this runoff race and you know, Jason it on. Lee will take one Mitt Romney and that could flip it whenever the big decisions are being made in the end of in the Senate. Yeah, but that's that makes it even Maurin important that we win these two these two Senate seats. No, I don't disagree with you. I mean, you have some Republican, too, Who are who are kind of shaky when it all comes down to it, And they could. They could vote with Democrats on some things that we don't want to see, such as raising taxes, for example, so I mean, look You If we win. Both these races were 50 to 48. Republicans have controlled 52 senators. Um, I just think it's vital that if you listen to the show, I mean, it's vital that your that you get out and vote. If not, I think the dance voting starts on December 14th. Um, if I'm wrong, please check the secretary of State's Web site to make sure on but regardless we need your We need you need you got both by January says, Uh, if you can't vote you can't vote early. Get an absentee ballot. You can do that. A ballot request s O s G. A Dhaka. On Get your absentee ballot and then you can you can vote also on election down generated Of Jason Pie. I want to thank you for being with us. We're just about out of time. Any final thoughts in about 15 seconds before we have to go. Sure. "There were some things here, and I'm interested to get your perspective actually send chills down my spine, the speaker, Pelosi said late last week, and it was just put out there is all you know it's Speaker Pelosi saying something nice about Ruth Bader Ginsburg. But I really think is worthy of discussion. And and that is she talked about how Ruth Bader Ginsburg did. Mohr For women than anybody else in history and walking right past the fact that you know if our founders had done what they did, then we're not having these conversations. And if you know Ruth was kind of old, but I don't think she's part of women's suffrage movement. That stuff notwithstanding. It dawned on me, You know, that is the exact opposite of what the legal profession is supposed to be about. Here. She is a judge, Jurist and Spring Court justice and we're talking about what she did for women. It's not her job to do for women or to do for people is to interpret the law and isn't that you know, part of the problem we get into in these these discussions. Yeah, it is. I think people have forgotten what the proper role of the courses as outlined in the Constitution. Which again I think is a compelling reason that we need justices on the Supreme Court who are hearing to the Constitution on and that's a separation of powers between the legislative branch, the executive branch and the judicial branch of government, which, like you said, the job of the judicial branches to interpret the law. On. People have relied heavily in recent years on litigation strategies to kind of achieve policy outcomes, forgetting the fact that the Legislature is the one that is supposed, be legislating and creating these laws. The executive carries them out and the judiciary You know, interprets them and those that type of role of the separation of powers, I think is so important again. Like you said, when we're looking at what is the role of these justices, it is to determine what is and is not within the bounds of what our government is or is not able to dio. Um and what I think Judge Barrett brings to the court on DH, so we hope to see her her confirms swiftly. Sarah. I know that remorse always puts out lots of recommendations around the elections where may people go or more of that information? We have freedomworks dot org's is our website. We're on Facebook at just at Freedomworks is wass Twitter's at freedom works as well and actually, just yesterday or early this morning, Jason Pyre, vice president of legislative affairs. I posted a new article on our cage, discussing some of the background on any Cockney Barrett for those who are not familiar with her. Of course, she did go through the confirmation process in the Senate in 2017 for the Court of Appeals for the seventh Circuit. So she has somewhat of a history and being going through a Senate confirmation process and whatnot, which is useful to get her perspective on a lot of issues, which we bring up here so again. Freedomworks dot org's Is where you can find all of her stuff on DH. Thank you. Brian, For for the quick correction should be the only Republican appointed women to woman to currently serve on the Supreme Court, Of course. Angela O'Connor, who By the way was confirmed in a lift 33 days, giving Amy there plenty of times you go through this confirmation process. But again Freedom, ark. Dot or Gyu confined. All of our information. Who that was another good point to title home. Sarah. Thank you very much. Appreciate it. Thanks, Brian. Have a good one. You too. Sara Anderson, Freedomworks director of policy and, Ah, couple hold off on some of what I'm going to get into here for just a little bit. I'll come back actually, to a question. That ties into one the big news items of the day and started with the New York Times yesterday. The Trump tax question. Well, I've got this. Ah, note. When I was soliciting questions that key break down the latest trump taxes issue or link a trusted source. That explains it correctly. I know they trying to back in 2015 already and that really is kind of the point. Let me speak just kind of broadly about this trump tax situation real quick. Yes, I It has been pried Previously. Yes, There's new information being alleged by The New York Times, including years since Donald Trump has assumed the presidency. They also sided on 2017 on forward. So they're saying Not only did he not pay tax back then, but he continues to not pay taxes again. Here's the first thing all any of us could ever do is just speculate on the situation. Here are the facts because and this is the important aspect of this conversation in any related. There are two sides to stories on one side of facts and if, for example, we took everything at face value that The New York Times said that Donald Trump would be president, United States of America because he would have already been removed from office and probably behind bars for his role and the collusion with Russia. S o. The New York Times Reporting. Something does not make it so now given that we can I know nobody can do anything but speculate. It's completely irresponsible to do anything that's specifically discussing items around it. President refutes what The Times is reporting and the Times reports what they report now. To this end. We know that taxes were certainly a concern because President Trump did what He moved from New York officially to Porter, right. Tax considerations. Definitely on his mind with doing this, we know that Donald Trump has not taken a penny. From American taxpayers. Since he became president, United States he has donated his salary every quarter that he receives it to various different government. Programs for departments..

"Of years. This country is founded upon racist ideas with slave You brought here from from the day of foundation and Those ideas have persisted throughout the last hundreds of years, and it's going to take time so we can get those all out. Okay. That is what it feels like when you read the first page of the 16 19 project. That is a terrible book Report of 16 19 project by Ryan Town That'd be fair in his normal job involves reading past patterns, not actually reading things but salad take their that America was founded on racist ideals. It's a lie. It's an absolute lie. America was not founded on racist ideals. As it turns out, slavery has been Universal to the human condition for virtually all of time until the enlightenment. United States was actually one of the first countries in the world to start fighting slavery, with certain states in the United States outlawing slavery as early as the late 18th century. There's an attempt in the Constitution to phase out slavery with explicit discussion in the Constitution of facing out slavery and the importation of slaves by 18 08. Northwest. Ordinance signed into law by George Washington explicitly prevented slavery from spreading to territories. But of course, that would ask for a historical literacy. And that's not our moment. Historical literacy is of no consequence. We have to pretend that America is uniquely evil. And that American ideals are uniquely evil. If this is the way that the end the NFL the MBA, the MLB, the NHL are going to treat their fans in the countries that make them wealthy, then Honestly, I have no interest. I have no interest. Really not not interested one iota in watching any sport that is going to inform Mia's ofyour that I am responsible for all sense of the past. And that if I refused to acknowledge that I am somehow responsible for slavery or that because I grew up in a solid two parent household, and because I am not a member of a particular minority group, I am a Jew, but not the number one. Most hated group in America by polls, right, But But that doesn't matter. I'm not a member of the of the of certain minority group. And that means that I am part of the impressive glasses. If sports leagues are going to tell me that gets one, I can turn off the TV and I have been I have an access sports. Huge sports fan. I have not access ports for months at this point, because of this nonsense. I'm not the only one. Already in just a second one got two more on the corporate Imbibing from the social justice. Trough in one second first Despite what the leftist woke up in the media would have you believe it's actually okay to love the country? In fact, it's a good thing to love the country. In fact, when the country is America, it's obligatory to love the country. During these trying times. It's really important for us to be even more patriotic than we normally big, especially when there's so many people demanding that you be non patriotic. We stand with those who refuse to accept the status quo. Okay? What the hell does that even mean refused to accept the status quo. What are you? What are you even talking about? It still deliberately vague. It means nothing. We refused to stand with those who who believe in fill in bad thing. The WN ba MBA and all of those will not tolerate another Jacob Blake. Okay, So I have a question. Are we not tolerating the Jacob Lake is like a career criminal who attempted to resist the cops. Are we not tolerating that Sometimes police have to shoot people when they're going for knives in their cars. Another em until okay to compare Jacob Lake to Emmett till a 14 year old black black child who was accused of sexually assaulting a white woman falsely and then lynched is disgusting. It's disgusting. Jacob Blake is not Emmett till. Still repulsive. Teo, like in all fact patterns to one another to draw a friend. It's really ridiculous, he says. We must do better lives depend on it. Well. There is a vague statement from Tim Cook. By the way. Is apple shutting down? Maybe Apple should shut down like a couple of months, You know, Take the financial hit in the name of Jacob Blake. Why not Tim Cook, making any sacrifices here. By the way, Tim Cook. "Tau watches the media covered last night's events as a dark groom film. Meanwhile, the DNC was apparently a font of light and happiness while they were declaring that we are on the verge of an American dictatorship that America is systemically evil and racist. The RNC, by contrast, is doom and gloom even when you have Immigrants and Children of immigrants talking openly about the glories of the United States and pointing out the Democrats are not so hot on the United States right now, What do you make of the media coverage so far of the RNC? It's sad, but very predictable. I mean, look Max elsewhere as one of the speakers last I just broke down with emotion started crying when he talked about his love for America and the freedom that it represents for him. Contractor that with experiences in communist Cuba and those air, uplifting things in that he expressed the freedom that we get in this country are so unique, so much of the rest of the world and how great this country is. And at its core, you know, we are the beacon of hope and compassion and strength across the planet, and you compare and contrast out what Democrats said It was almost like They said No, it's America inherently evil, if the cause of so many of the world's problems now that you know that the dark and gloomy, you know description that the Democrats tried to paint the Republican convention with Um yeah, Communism. Socialism is dark and gloomy. So we reserve the right to have a conversation about what Joe Biden wants to this country had been open about remaking it. The folks he's had speaking his convention also were very clear about remaking this country into the image of a socialist nation. So it's not dark and gloomy to talk about the greatness of America. What is dark and gloomy, though, is the picture that the Democrats painted not only in this country, but in the future they want for all Americans and That of socialism. We can't have that happen. And I think the two the two conventions I mean, it really is a tailor to conventions because we're going to show how uplifting and great this country is a land of promise the land of opportunity, the land of heroes, land of greatness, or all of our nightly seams. And I think each night you're going to get, you know, get a sense of that that pride in a nation that you know has systematically changed the world for good. Hogan. Final question for us. Obviously, President Trump has appeared a fair bit of the convention. Already he's had the sort of pre taped interactions with various members of the public gives a big speech on a couple of night. How long do you expect the president to go when he gives a big speech? Because I remember that the last RNC and he went actually a fairly long time. Yeah, I don't want to get too far ahead of what I think the link is going to be a I. I can just I can just tell you and your listeners I'd pop some popcorn shit down your favorite beverage and buckle up because he's gonna have Ah, really good one to give to the American people. It's not just about where we can go is a nation if we understand the greatness at the core of America, but it's also a reminder of here's where we were for the last eight years, and here's How far we came in such a short amount of time with record setting successes for everyone in this country, regardless of race, religion, color or creed. I think that's really, really important to remind the American people of that also have that Ford looking vision of Here's what I want to do for the next term. I mean, look even office three years, Joe Biden has been there for half a century. It took him two hours even mentioned his name the first night of their convention. And after that, they didn't even mention a single thing He did. I mean, the two themes where we hate Donald Trump. I get it. You hate down Trump and to his job as a nice guy. Well, my Grandad's nice got, too, but he don't need to sit in the Oval Office shouldn't have it handled the nuclear button. So I think that the contract is going to be clear the president going to give up uplifting, unifying patriotic Vision to the country. And when he does that, without the filter of the mainstream media, you know as well as I do that resonates and I'll say one last thing, and that is the media. The Democrats do not want Joe Biden to speak, and I do not want Donald Trump to speak, but it's for very different reasons, you know? And Joe Biden get down. His unscripted on didn't have that Teleprompter and his aide, handing him notes. You hear wonderful tales about how Children love to rub his leg hair and how Arizona's a great city and how all black people think alike. About what Donald Trump gets out there. That message really, really cuts through all the clutter and the people. Remember, you know that it was Donald Trump, who got them the jobs that they were told by the Democrats and Joe Biden that they'd never get back again. It was Donald Trump, who put us on the world stage and said, We're gonna stand up in the safety and security American people. First, we're going to rebuild the military, and we're going to trade deals that work for the American worker, the American middle class. And peace deals that lead the way for for Ah, safer world as well. So it's very different while they don't want t be out there speaking, but it's obvious that we have the better message we had the better messenger Hey, has the best work ethic for sure. And, of course, the best record and we're gonna put that unfold display this week. Hogan appreciate the time holding Italy national press secretary for the Trump campaign. Also, thanks for a I'm glad people there took my advice and put together that's a real of various Democratic governors praising the president for its covered response. As I said, it would be like to listen to you. I know people people do write some people Listen to me. I appreciate it hooking Thanks so much. Here. I've been already coming up in the zoo professor gets fired for making an absolutely innocuous drug because that is the world in which we now live. But first, despite what you have to smoke Mom in the media would have you believe it's actually okay like America, in fact, to take good thing to be patriotic during these trying times, it's pretty important for us to be even more patriotic than would normally be. Is people shout about how America sucks. That's why my friends over and freedom works are urging the country to use this Labor day as a special day to celebrate the country. If you'd like to join the celebration, police next Ben is my name men to form 1490 and sign up and share how you plan to celebrate it today, even though things seem tense it right now vast majority of Americans actually still like the country, we're all Americans were citizens, neighbors, members of our communities. "Nine zero help FreedomWorks reeled in America today against expense for four lines are pretty much joined with me in a lot of America pledge which meant socially distancing and buying from local restaurants and making sure that people are getting phone calls but now it's time to move to the next stage and that is a careful cautious and and smart reopening expense form for an answer to help make that happen to help my friends over at freedom works today Alexander no higher on the bench because of the phone Alexander the report from Oxford and company saying that they can push out the coronavirus vaccine by September trump has been saying hopefully by the end of the year and thought she was saying by January and then there was this most read a report saying October Michael how far development and current affairs baxeen testing has gone this far as of right now what seems to be the most realistic hi I'm so it's hard to tell what the most realistic timeline is typically it takes forever to develop a vaccine I mean really like a long time typically it could take you somewhere between ten and twenty years to develop a vaccine depending on how much academic research is done in pre clinical research is done and then a phase one trials to take months in phase two trials we could take a year in phase three trials it could take a year and you have to build the factories you have manufacturing you have approval of distribution New York times a piece on this the end of April talking about how long it takes to move through the process Peter hotels who is the dean of the national school of tropical medicine at Baylor said if you wanna make a two month time frame time frame you could theoretically put as many horses in the race as humanly possible and that's exactly what is happening here so you are starting to see people throw out basically mostly RNA vaccines are the ones that are being pushed out there as fast as humanly possible we will see which fail in which sixty also typically these are sort of done in in a row as opposed to being done simultaneously the fact you have tons of a vaccine for the same disease being developed simultaneously I is is pretty astonishing and pretty great also we have a lot of research has already done on sars and mers which were caused by a coronavirus is an inspired a lot of research sars and sars coming to which is this one which is the virus that causes coming nineteen eighty percent identical so that's how scientists can develop a test recall the nineteen so quickly so it's possible that this has been a failed more often but the fast tracking might be worth the try again worth noting that it took for dax scenes for for example M. H. P. V. as in fifteen years that all vaccine for rotavirus took fifteen years developing vaccine pediatric combination so be the detail that take eleven years developed the vaccine so that there's there's all sorts of things you can do to shorten this thank again I don't have an answer to this I wish I did have an answer to this I don't think anybody has an answer to this I think the optimistic view is probably that by the end of the year we're looking at people taking those as the super optimistic view would be earlier than that my my bet would be that we're not talking about most Americans have moved back into February March of next year again that's that's mostly gut feeling not based on data okay well thank Alexander appreciate the call so that that is the that's the New York times breakdown of the situation anyway Daniel at a higher and then special for Daniel Hey Ben how are you man HM okay how are you I'm there okay I am I just upgraded to the yearly and I got my two I left it here what's up at the White hi Hydrae aided bearing my remodeling of the bathroom read the error reading so thank you for that but I agree well thanks distribution yeah it's great and I bye I love your show I love everything about I saw you in Berkeley and grave grave the mob but then then I've done that but Ohio thank god so I am currently working on my master's degree at away your and I wanted to kind of get might be at least kind of get your opinion on what I wanted to do on it so my thesis of on that the start of Bernie style socialism and in the U. S. and that's very that I'm working with is that if somebody go with my wife neck next month and if.

"Dollar stimulus bill the Nancy Pelosi hopes to have voted on on Friday three trillion dollars includes money for illegal aliens isn't that wonderful the Democrats apparently consider that a short coming of the original bill I'm hoping that president trump gets his veto pen out and ready to go let's talk catamaran Brandon who's president of FreedomWorks how you doing that tonight out of I'm doing all right and they also included in that is one trillion dollars to bail out to states like Illinois they've been developing pretty huge problems when their pensions for decades and all the sudden they're gonna use the corona virus as an excuse to get bailed out there's no there's no way in the world that all these states and I happen to live in a state that's created its own pension problems like Illinois the fact that they're bad spending over the decades has now led to their financial problems on top of the true corona virus it's one thing for the federal government to say will help you out with the things that were the problems that were created financially and otherwise by the corona virus but we don't bail out the state on the problems that were created by bad Democrat management do we no and it is even worse than that I mean states are supposed to have a rainy day fund for rainy days and this is a pretty rainy day is coming down out there but I think this is just part of a larger overall problem when I look at what because he's trying to do here a part of our other plant in these three trillion dollars is just extending free money and what you're gonna end up with if we don't stop this is we're gonna have a direct democracy because everyone of the voting by mail that doesn't work now we're all comfortable by email and then coupled with the universal basic income and so if that's the case this is exactly what Benjamin Franklin two hundred fifty years ago when he said we have a Republic if you can check that this is going to be exact moment Benjamin Franklin's been learning about and it's all wrapped up in that building well she's trying to move well and and I agree with you there Adam so how do we fix this when we have a Congress is going to say you know you know what's going to happen if the president says I'm not signing that then they're going to say you see the president does want to help people out and I noticed that even in the details you were or the political rights about seventy five billion dollars for mortgage relief a hundred billion in assistance for renters well I actually saw something was a bit refreshing today Adam I don't know if you've seen it but it appears that at least for the month of April the end for a for the beginning of may renters around the country about eighty nine percent and paid the full amount of their rent there are a lot of fears that they wouldn't and I I worried about that too because I said look if if you've got state so they're a bunch of states that have said we're going to make it illegal for your landlord to kick you out to a Victor you and some of them have done that through the summer some of them have actually done it all the way to December to Christmas they said you can't kick anybody out some of those people who are renters are going to say well I'm going to take that as an invitation to not pay my rent my landlord can't kick me out all all ended blowing him for eight or ten months when December comes I'll just move I'll go somebody at someplace else it's a huge moral hazard to allow people does to to not pay and get away with it but but you know refreshingly eighty nine percent of what this is from the landlords around America eighty nine percent of renters apparently paid their rent on time and only a small percentage did not and I would imagine that's probably explained by people who found themselves unemployed but either one way or another didn't qualify for some of the help that we shoveled out in the cares package and the other subsequent bills you can understand there might be a few people but it sounds like most of the people said my rent is due and I'm gonna pay it well I think that's just a testament to the American people American the American people do not want welfare they don't want free stuff they don't want three checks they want the ability to go out and work and they want the dignity of work and I think at the end of the day we there's treating the symptom then treating the problem as long as the government is shutting down the U. S. economy the topic of bail outs are going to continue we have to get the economy opened one of the saddest things that's happening in all of the shutdown is we know who is the most at risk it is people like my parents who are in their eighties and there are they've got a couple of other conditions in there safe and sound in their home in Ohio right now but those are the people that the resources should be going to first to protect their the ones with the most the rest and when you look at who gets sick if there's in this disease is a thirty year olds forty year old the only be down one of those we need to be out okay it's crazy that we're shutting down this country for everyone what we know exactly who is the most at risk and when you keep everyone shut down like this then you have the problem of you need to bail out and I've got a couple friends who got small businesses and this is what's so insane they can't find employees they're trying to open up a little bit here and there and because of the way that we're doing our work our our our unemployment benefits that their employees are getting paid more to not work so to get them back to work or having to pay them under the table so they're breaking the law all and it just it's amazing how screwy it is we've got to get this country back to like I said that's the moral hazard and the other thing is Brandon I've always told my audience I support Donald Trump I voted for him before I endorsed him before when he was running and he was still one of a dozen because I thought he was the best choice at I still think he is but I think there are times he makes mistakes and I'll call one of those specific mistakes out here he came out and said I'm the one in charge of shutting down the country and I'm the one who says it can open back up at the time I said he's wrong he's factually wrong on the constitution and he's wrong in other ways when he says he's the one in charge of course the federal government can give some guidance but you and I both know ultimately the the elected official in charge of whether or not a state can start into business again you know what the corona virus he is the governor of that state who directs the public health of that state so in some ways by grabbing you know saying I'm in charge of this I think he made a strategic error if people are unhappy because our state is shut down they need to look to their governor the governor is the one who caused it not the U. S. Congress and not the president viewed great like I own your personal greed because that our system is designed at your local government is the one who in fact the front facing in any crisis that's where you go to get the direct help and then it is coordinated by the state to state the one who is managing the problem and then it is supported by the federal government tax that is how we have dealt with crises like hurricanes and earthquakes as for for a long long time that's the way the system works the best that the president can do is to be there ready to assist but it comes down to the state and it comes down to the locality and how they want to attack the problem and fix the problem but it also sounds like the states that are in the best shape the my it might actually I know there are a few states that are running surpluses they're getting punished in a fact because there need isn't as great as the spendthrift profligate governments like Illinois that have said let's spend everything and then some run ourselves into the ditch and then coronavirus arrives and they go pleading poverty saying oh look while a better situation is what your situation is worse because you created a ton of debt and then and then you maintain that debt instead of paying it down and now you say you're in worse shape well it's because of your own decision making instead of simply saying no we should spend responsibly all of those states was surpluses I'm sure had people within them saying well why don't we fund this and why do we find that we've got extra extra cash and they were smart just like the individuals out there who put away a rainy day fund Adam thank you so.

"Things worse they make the more scarce there's a reason all your grocery store shelves are stocked today in a because of socialism this is why it's kind of writing that so many young people in America don't know anything about socialism and seem warm to socialism that's why there's so many people support AOC and Bernie Sanders but there's still resistance and if you're ready to take up the fight against socialism he joined my friends over at freedom markets if you like tell pretty much text then this my name Ben two four one four nine zero they've action items nearly everyday signed their petition today to fight AOC in Bernie Sanders right now I'm trying to push a fracking ban which only destroyed tens of millions of jobs in the country again you wanna help my friends over at FreedomWorks text my name Ben two four one four nine zero again that's my name bench for one four eight nine zero and all my friends over three months they're coming up with creative ways to fight socialism each and every day and they will make you part of the process check them out by texting bands of four one four nine zero here's a piece of good news from accu weather dot com is a team of researchers unveiled the results many study last week to look at how temperature and humidity affect transmission called the nineteen according to researchers findings high temperature and high relative humidity significantly reduce the transmission cover nineteen an increase of just one degree Celsius and one percent relative humidity increased substantially lower the virus's transmission according to data analyzed by the researchers this study is the latest in a limited but growing body of research not all of which have been peer reviewed that examines the effect of weather the researchers studied a hundred different Chinese cities that he said more than forty cases of call the nineteen according to accu weather senior weather editor and meteorologist Jesse Ferrell decision to study transmission on those days was critical is between January twenty first and twenty third because that was before trying to intervene and analyzing the time frame allowed them to see what exactly the outbreaks were happening apparently the the areas that had lower air temperature and lower humidity so severe outbreaks more than warmer and more humid countries that be like Singapore Malaysia and Thailand so yeah a local warming would be the answer to this particular problem and just so I can get back to president trump's fighting it out with the media he was enjoying himself today the media were enjoying it is any of it useful I'm probably not although when he's back in the media for being biased against them obviously that is true we get to more of that in one second first let's talk about the fact that there's plenty of ways out there for your life too and I know very dark thoughts at this time but you'll be walking down the street and they'll let you know that you could be just sitting in your bed and suddenly.

"Coming up on the science revolution podcast this week can you deny we're now standing in an extinction event and disinformation is one of the causes Mari Marshall is the director of the International Center for the rights in nature and she joins me to talk about nature's rights other topics include is obesity causing brain damage in children and how atmospheric rivers fuel extreme floods in America you can find the science revolution were all fine podcasts are available thirty four minutes Fazio a mad house Democrats just past the Elijah econ means lower drug costs now act also is H. R. three house resolution three Tom presses to send out a press release it's it's interesting and we had two of these things came into our our studio here in the last fifteen twenty minutes this one from the Democrats said the difference between the parties couldn't be clearer Democrats are fighting for the good of the American people what trump and Republicans are fi are defending the greed a big pharma Democrats are keeping our promises on healthcare we're working to lower drug prices for middle class families in passing historic investments in Medicare while trump's agenda spikes costs jeopardizes protections for people with pre existing conditions and slashes billions for Medicare and Medicaid I as trumpeter Republicans break their promises at every turn Democrats will keep working to improve the lives of everyday Americans basically what this law says is that is that when drug prices are wildly higher in the United States than in a basket of others you're fully developed countries in Canada European countries that the drug companies have to lower the prices and the Medicare can negotiate the prices so FreedomWorks sends out an official press release which I just got following the vote the house representatives on speaker Nancy Pelosi socialist price control bill HR three Adam Brandon on FreedomWorks president commented today's vote on HR three is incredibly disappointing and shows how radical house Democrats have become as representative Dave Stryker recently said there are killers coming that would not happen under HR three he's absolutely right importing socialist price controls in Europe will reduce innovation in the pharmaceutical industry now it won't they're going to still want to develop new drugs to make more money was gonna reduces the profits of the pharmaceutical industry but that's not going to stop them from trying to develop profitable drugs what are you crazy you don't think the American capitalist now to.
