"Subject to credit approval. Exclusions. Apply C store lows dot com For details US only. Paul Brown Stadium. Thanks for tuning in to the bangle scrimmage tonight. Players are warming up on the field as we speak their first field activity in terms of Scrimmage type action will take place in about five minutes and then the actual scrimmage place will start at 6 35. Have some discussion of the team between now and then beginning with what took place yesterday. As you may have seen on the Bengals website. In the local media yesterday, players, coaches and ownership Traveled a few blocks from ground stadium to the underground Railroad Freedom Center to read the team's mission statement and present a united front on racial equality, and Marissa has more details. San That is exactly what took place. It was a great sight to see the play the players coaching staff and ownership all coming together yesterday morning to March from Paul Brown Stadium to the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, and it was a very powerful and moving statement that they delivered to taken act into stand against racism. Now it was read by Trey Hawkins and Joe Burrow. A statement as a whole was written by the entire team, but it was really trade who was the one that took everyone's thoughts and words and helped shape the statement into the message that the team wanted to share. Now I was able to be present for this and it was just such such a moment and I'm so proud of how our guys came together to organize this march to make sure Their voices are being heard that they want to help bring change to our society. Now, following the reading and recording of the statement, the entire team entered the Freedom Center, and they took a tour and were given an educational presentation on bias and racism and his Dan already mentioned. If you have not watched the video of the statement, I highly recommend each and every one of you do so it's on Bengals dot com, along with all of the Bengal social media pages. Jeff hops and also wrote a fantastic article to go along with the events of Saturday and is able to get into a little bit more details on what exactly took place that is also on the Bangles website. Now each and every one of you could also help to make a positive difference in our community by purchasing a cardboard cut out from the Bangles team announced the cutouts will fill seats at Paul Brown Stadium ahead of the team's home opener on September 13. "You are, and whatever you're doing, you're safe. You're happy. And you are with someone. You alone? I really do. You know, I I mentioned that it's 12 37. But you and I both know this. It's five o'clock somewhere. Here's one for you. Excuse me while I set this up. For my myth to that amount to that can No social distancing there. 7491 7800 the big £1.700 on T. The Cincinnati Bengals players. Have gathered in front of the Freedom Center today. And have just released a video about where they stand. With the rest of the National Football League with regards to Social justice Trey Hopkins looks like he started the statement. Joe Burrow, who has been very, very vocal Eyes now or was second up to the microphone to speak, Not a very long Not a very long statement, but still very powerful the players in front of the Freedom Center. Look, I I've wrestled with this for a while. About player protests and And whether they should be done and what gives them the right to say something other than Just what they have to say about a football game or a baseball game or whatever. And it's It's a parent that they're using, and not just the Bangles, not just NFL players, but all professional athletes are using a platform that they are presented with. Now they earned the platform. The platform was earned by what they accomplished on the field. It wasn't given to them. Do you have to make a team? Well, when you make a team, you are elevated. Particularly in our society. As a professional athlete, you are elevated to a level that's above in terms of your voice. That's above the average guy walking around on the street. Like it or not, there is that Stratos system in the United States. How powerful are your words? And at what level are you allowed to deliver them? I have that platform here on this radio station. This is an enormous platform. This is a 50,000 Watt radio station whose signal goes all over the Midwest. And now because of things like applications on cell phones, who goes all over the world. Football players to a much greater degree than this have that platform. So two baseball players, Soto, every other professional athletes. And so what? Do you have that platform and you truly believe in something to not speak out? In my opinion. Is is something that is irresponsible. I think it's totally irresponsible if you do not Use a platform that you have been given that you have earned. And you don't speak out about the things that are important to you. Now. As I said, I wrestled with this You know, I'm I'm I'm the son of some of two people who were from the greatest generation. I've talked about my dad a lot on this show. He passed away a couple of months ago and He was He was World War two. It was D day. To him. The flag meant everything to him. The national anthem was his song. Wasn't my way by Sinatra. Wasn't anything else. That was a big hit when he was a younger man. The national anthem was his song. And it infuriated him to no end to see The national anthem in his opinion or the flag in his opinion, disrespected by Younger people who had been given a lot in life and have discovered decided that they were going to protest. Whatever they were upset about in this case, Social justice protest during his song in front of his flag, and I I wrestle with that for a while. I didn't always agree with my dad. In fact, there are many, many things I didn't agree with. And I came to Ah The conversating. Thank God. I had this conversation with him before he passed away. I said, you know. I said, you're viewing things from your lens. This is a different time. There were things that are going on now that because of Social media, because Oh, People with cell phone cameras because all of the height nowhere was that there are things that are going on now that arm or well documented. Then what happened when you were younger? Simply because if it didn't happen right there in front of you, you didn't know now the minute something like what happened in Minneapolis earlier this summer. It's it was all over the country within minutes. Within minutes. So, yeah, when I go to a to a to a football game when I go to a baseball game, I go there to watch football. But I understand as my last guest was speaking about Audrey White. I am watching human beings. People that although they have this great gift To perform at a great level. They're also human beings that have other Boards. Concerns. Desires there just like you and me and that stand in that sense. They just have a larger platform. So I really believe that I've come to this belief. That if Have an athlete or a team wants to do something in protest of what they see is wrong. In this case, Of course, the mitigating factor this week was what transpired in Kenosha, Wisconsin. I have every right in the world to do it. Their employer. Obviously. Is not just saying they have a right to do it. It seems to be their employer is encouraging it. You had players. Basically tell Their teams and the commissioner of the N B a this week. We're not playing. Now The commissioner didn't say yes, you are. Go out on that court. General managers didn't say. So there is not just the blessing, but.

"My next guest has been a friend for Oh, for 30 years. And played a huge role in my being on radio. Years ago, I was at another station. Then I got promoted to afternoon drive time in the hole. Now, A number of people have never heard. My show, of course, went ballistic when they heard it and began a campaign writing to my sponsors, saying that I was a racist, anti black uncle Tom, the usual stuff. And little by little. I began getting calls from the account executives saying, You know something's happening here. We're getting clients that they're saying that they're not going to advertise on your show anymore. And I went to management. We have discussions about this and they wanted me not to address this issue. And I thought that was a tactical blunder. They said. I'm sorry. We think it's going to go away and it didn't go away. But I was forbidden from talking about it. Get a phone call from my guest. And he asked me what's going on. I tell him and he says, Well, how come you guys are not fighting back? And I told him for whatever reason, Management has determined this was the most appropriate strategy. And if so, what could I do? And I said, Well, the only thing that would help is, if my ratings it higher and higher, But around here, we don't do any advertising. So that's not gonna happen. So what if I ever ties for you? And he raised a great deal of money and put together this brilliantly funny, witty, clever commercials. My ratings went up. Pretty soon the the boycott went away largely because of the strength of my ratings, and it turned out it was just a handful of people doing it anyway. They simulated a massive amount of people. They wouldn't even give interviews. It was amazing. They were as effective as they were, but they were beaten back largely because of my next guest efforts. He is a long time writer. He wrote. A bestseller called Radical Son came out in 1997 which I urge anybody who's on the left to read. He saw authored a bunch of biographies, but the Rockefellers about the Kennedys about the Fords. And you have you had another book that spent 11 weeks on The New York Times bestseller on that one wasn't reviewed, either. Was it? I think The reason it's so popular. It covers the 1st 3.5 years of the Trump Administration of I got two more that were Engulfing this country. May I say that? You know as a conservative You don't win. Too many battles lost every battle lights except the one. I'm really happy. That was worth way. Have a second. We have a second victory. David. It was Tavis Smiley. The first question was Do blacks complain too much about racism? And, Ah, the audience said, No. And then you and I spent an hour talking about how blacks complain too much about racism. At the end of the hour, the audience switched and they agreed with us. Yeah, I like the whole day. I get one here. I think so. Wouldn't point and you should have seen the expression on the expression on those two guys face was priceless. I've got that somewhere. I'm going to get out and try and find it. What people like to probe my book. I mean, aside from the time it got it explains Pound one Democrat party is starting now a attempted to overthrow the president Reelected president How The economic plans are Communist socialist, actually, timeliness plans. Which is that Trump is responsible for the violence, Death. Trump doesn't control any health care system in the United States under the control of the governor's together. General system. Ortiz. Trump was supposed to produce the ventilators the masks and Obama used up the vaccine. The test, and he's done all that. Um, but you exposed most. This is a dangerous hoax of all that. We're in a fiery was still regretting stand back or institutional racism without more by the 19 64th right, David, we'll take it. We'll take a break right here. The book is called Blitz, Trump will smash the left and win. David, as you know, president behind in most of the other polls. I want to find out what makes you so convinced he's gonna win. And you want this book Well before George Floyd died, and we had all these protests. I can see how that's changing things. But you've obviously thought is gonna win before that happened. I want to know how and why. I'm Larry Elder David like a Larry Elder, 14 20. Let's say you just bought a house. Bad news is you're one step closer to becoming your parents. "Well, I wanted to visit your little freedom center there. But I haven't gotten the opportunity to yet. I have been through Keene. I've been through concord. And man, I spent a little time in field. Just recently I've seen Nash I've gone to Dover. I haven't been deport Smith yet. This is way up there, isn't it? Pittsfield? A little higher than than concord. I'm thinking of Pittsburg Pittsburg is way up right next to Canada used to be its own country called the Republic of Indian stream. It's a fascinating story. So what I would recommend is kind of check in with Mark warden, and that kind of thing, but you know, finding out what you. Rogers campground? That's in Lancaster. It's way up north way up north. Okay. So I visited Lancaster just for Rogers. But I haven't really seen the rest of it down. What are you looking for what kind of a lifestyle? Are you looking for you a city boy? Or would you rather be out in the country? It's hard to figure. One thing is I'm not going to be buying any land of making any major decisions until my girlfriend come by. And she got a good helping and the whole tour. Just see what the pros and cons are for her as well. Pretty much. This is good advice for anybody rent first. And then determine because when it comes to owning a home, especially right now with the way, the real estate market is you basically have to own for ten years for it to be financially financially makes sense. There's a lot of nice things about having a landlord when something breaks you call them grow. We've got an expert. I'm on that whole question right here. Andrew you moved here. Not only did you move here in two thousand eleven with your husband, but she had two children. Right. We did we had two children. So how did you go through this process yourself you and your husband? We went on. Right. Well, we ended up in Danbury, and we met some people came up. Take took a visit my husband and my son. My five year old picked out a cabin. I lived there for about three days. And then I went on Craigslist and found somewhere that was habitable, and we moved to Alstead and written. Yeah, we rented and Danbury was that cabin was not habitable. Now, we had never running water the entire time. We were. Necessity with kids..

"Freedom center, also writes for front page magazine, and director of discover networks, a website that tracks persons and groups on the political left is also found that the organization students for academic freedom, which is certainly needed on college campuses today and David Horowitz. Welcome again to the Bill Cunningham show. David, how are you? Talk about what's happening on college campuses. When I look about what's occurring and so called Trump states in the election with taxes with Bater our work getting close to cruise. I'll look at Florida. I think Arizona Nevada might be lost along with California. It looks to me like hundreds of college campuses are training new individuals in the progressive left movement and shutting out of college campuses. Diversity of opinions. Then also what's happening are many, universities who are actually support terror campuses. Like, Columbia UCLA tops, Ken state, and George Mason Hama, Walter Williams, a friend of mine, can you give us an overview nationally on what's happening on college campuses that parents are paying for. To tell you. But it starts in kindergarten. The last. I like to call the communist left communists, would probably be more accurate term. Has taken control of our schools from kindergarten through graduate school. At the university level, and and they stranded Archer nation. Left wing extremism. It's racism. Americanism all done in the classroom. They even teach kindergarten as gender fluidity. You can choose what gender you are regardless of your biology. Yeah. The universities have spent fifty years purging conservatives in the faculty. So for example, I just recently spoke at Dartmouth. Of course, I had to pay my own way. Whereas Linda Sarsour to hating can't loving. America hating pro-terrorist ten thousand dollars from the Dartmouth administration under a program called there. Officer pluralism to give a speech there before me. My kids. I spoke about fifteen conservative kids, how many professors can you name who are conservatives on your faculty here in the answer? Universally was one or two so they're really non existent. Most college students for years. Undergraduate education never having to a character conservative, adult grotesque, sir. Who's teaching? Cold War history at darkness. I'm told by the students is a pro Soviet Marxist who we're the bad guys in the Cold War. This is this is a national disgrace. And what you're referring to is a report we just put out to try to highlight that there are two hundred here. College campuses colleges where an organization called students for Justice in Palestine, which is a front organization for. The terrorist army that controls Gaza, and whose charter promises the extermination of the Jews in so many words their front coup for HAMAs created this organization. It's fun. It's big political program is of course. Attempt to boycott divest sanctions designed to strangle Israeli economy on this organization is not only on. Two hundred. Campuses. Carpeted by. Addition to being funded by a terrorist group HAMAs. It's funded universities. The universities when I organize protests, universities, Ted and the toasters. Students put up and attacks me as an Islamophobe racist. Chris. Situation. Yeah. Let me ask you this question because you know, my bosses at Jewish carpenter, and when I see on almost every college campus vicious, genocidal slogans against America and against Jews hateful slurs violence against Jewish students on campus. The president's the faculty the administration's ignore or forgive hostile discriminatory is can you imagine if the white nationalist taken over some college campuses? Now, we're shouting racist slurs against African Americans or against Muslims the entire campus revolt. There'd be a bicycle racks thrown through last one. Why is it permitted to use hateful? Why? Talking about the administrators. Yeah. For fifty years. We're reaching a terminal point. Hopefully left ever knows what to stop it'll blow up in their faces away. Boris's blowing up a little bit. Now, but the left is a racist. Faction in our society, anti white Jewish, and they hate you. When I say anti white, they call us country white supremacists or to be enough to get them. You know, put in mental institutions. But in fact, what it is. It's an indictment of our country. So. How can fight to defend the country. If you think that it's a white supremacist oppressor. And already the Democratic Party is not defending this canoe. They're not the democratic every democratic candidate believes around a certain set of principles that abortion is not America ought to get out of the Middle East. Donald Trump is a white nationalist talks. Border borders. I mean, what's happening now fraction of the country. Right there. Yeah. Let all South America. Come to America. It's not American. More. Poor South American so poor. It's because they have corrupt cultures. They can't. They'll bring their attitudes here the leftover understands this because it doesn't. Well, because it just hates America. David horowitz. Is a little bit of the story. And I step back and say Haiti was was settled long before America along with Central America. And South America was settled one hundred years before America was settled in those areas. Look at the basket case that now Venezuela is. When you mentioned Haiti look. One of the things they attacked me piping. I was I was attack in the Santos campaign. I think they try to hang me around his neck. I'm so glad he wanted to be one by one vote. I would be ecstatic. There's a statement. I said nobody is oppressed in America. People were oppressed in America. There would be an exodus smart people would be leaving. Instead Haitians risked their lives to get here. Why because they have more rights or privileges? More opportunities for freedom in America as black Haiti's occasions, then they do in Haiti which is been run by blacks for several hundred years because of the genius of the American town is world announced these days owners and. It's just disgraceful. What happened was having to our schools is the greatest threat to the survival of this country, which is why I've got a campaign now for on K twelve you got to stop K, twelve indoctrination dot org. I've got a code of ethics which would prevent teachers. You know, taking partisan positions. In the classroom. Gender fluidity gender. Another issue the hell gender fluidity. There's like a fifteen to twenty kinds of gender in California forms right now. And david. They've lost all connection with reality. Donald Trump a racist, white, nationalist or Hitler. A hitler. You've lost your mind. That's what's happened to ever MSNBC. CNN all these channels, which I just an utter disgrace. And of course, you know, they have so much power over the culture, I left, but you can't even take the credentials Chyba Kosta who is the opposite of what our reporters not a reporter. He's an ideologue noxious narcissist. Ideologue, David Horowitz. Thrown out. I've been doing this like thirty six years you, and I've probably been on the radio together twenty years, and I love what you're saying. I think you love what I'm saying the difficulty as I see things getting worse. I don't see things getting better. Right. Well, yeah. But you never you never quite. Can't doesn't move in a straight line, for example. Now, the founder of the women's March, which is. March which Madonna? Said she teams blowing up the White House called Trump Hitler and so forth. Wants to remove the leaders of the March was the penalty because they're Farrakhan racist. Linda Sarsour to me. You know, and they're they have him grace the terrorists. Yes, they have. They wanna kill Joe's. You never know. Why don't we gotta fight? The biggest problem is that conservatives have lives, unlike leftist live for politics, and they've got to get much more involved in the political process and fight more and stop calling Democrats liberals, they're racists, bigots, tried to destroy judge Kavanagh's life. On the basis of a liar. A proven liar. Mu said, she was afraid of first of all she wanted to destroy Cavanaugh. We'll never coming forward. Un-american is that? Supported it. You know, Julie sweating he came forward. Yes. The Democratic Party to our person supported it. Everyone senators disgrace that was on judiciary committee didn't stand up for innocent until proven guilty. Republicans. Except for Lindsey Graham outburst. I mean, hopefully, that's a sign that a future election two or three weeks show the election occurs, and they pick up a few Senate seats. But here you got thirty seats in the house picked up by radical left. Democrats and Nancy Pelosi is going to lead them, I'm confident and and allows just give me I looked at day after the inaugural. You have hundreds of thousands of women, Linda, Sarsour lookalikes marching around calling for the murder of the president and blowing up his house to the cheers. And when the Democrats took over the house normal, people conservatives who work and have families. There was no protest or boycotts are marches or mass demonstrations or riots, we don't do that kind of stuff and the media covers these two parties civilized fun. Burien fascist may embrace black lives matters. Innovation and anti fascist and Democrats. Like, formally endorsed black lives matter. So. But you have to appreciate. And enjoy the irony here, but. Member of the black caucus is running against Pelosi. So if you're a democrat and support the black you're a sexist in ages. Denouncing him now at that way. And if you support Pelosi, you're racist. So they're gonna eat each other alive. Lastly Keith Allison who was elected in Minnesota as the attorney general that chief law enforcement officer who beats the hell out of black women. Can you imagine? I mean, how is it possible that the co chair of the national democratic committee, the US congressman and a Louis Farrakhan apologist is elected to be the chief legal officer in the state of Minnesota. How's that possible? Well, the Democratic Party embraces its racists. As one one reason they're also bed with the Muslim Brotherhood. And you know, they're gonna they're gonna alienate Jews are in a sort of revolt. Finally, I hope because it's so blatant can. Twos. Doc of Satan. He is Hitler for crying out tears and the bomber and the black racist. Carcass put their arms around him all the time. I mean, it just sick. But the biggest thing is that Republicans don't say, right. What is the man with Republicans who they're afraid? Judiciary committee, call Christine for a liner. She also she lied about. He's a fear of flying. So she can't testify lied all over the South Pacific. She lied about. Clapping claustrophobic and having to fill two doors. A huge invention in her house front doors. You have sex prosecutor Email to do their questioning they didn't even dare crossing salmon her they were afraid because they're white males. They're afraid they cower in the corner. Are you confronted black racist carrot black racist? I'm telling you confront them, and they're racist allies on the left the army identity, politics, worshippers identity politics. It's racism judging people according to their group. So if you're female you're innocent, even if you get guilty like Ford, and if you're male, you're guilty, even when the facts show your innocence, Mike Cavanaugh. Situated until people start talking frankly about it. When I hear the first Republican, call democrat or racist. Oh, no. We're on a path. "Freedom center, editor of front page magazine. And I know he's been following the hideous evil. That was brought upon Pittsburgh and a heartbreaking moment for the families and their victims. And now the rush to. Blamed Donald Trump for this. I mean, it's predictable. But it's still sad. David good to talk to you on a horrible aftermath of more evil in the United States. Look in the first place. Donald Trump is the first president since ABRAHAM LINCOLN to have the Democratic Party declare war. The hate is coming from the left. Also, you could go up on Twitter. Well, actually, there's a website called canary mission dot org, and they have like Muslims mainly well all actually Muslims. Praising Hitler saying? They'd like to kill all the Jews. Exactly what this guy said Twitter allows it to go on on every campus in America. There's students for Justice in Palestine, which is an organization that's. An arm of HAMAs a terrorist organization. That's sworn to exterminate the Jews every major university in America supports students for Justice in Palestine, this left-wing hate group. Nobody does anything about it. So. Blaming Donald Trump. Just exposes. The bankruptcy. Of the left and the Democratic Party in particular. The more. They tried to blame Trump for everything. The less credibility. They have more people will listen to what Trump is saying. That's my view. There was a we'll get to this a moment they were trying to drag the former rabbi in the current rabbi of the tree of life synagogue into political conversation. I'll get to that in a moment. But the. The never Trump of former conservatives, I don't know if they were ever conservatives again on CNN today use this as an opportunity to try to smear the President Bill Kristol spoke. Let's listen, if if the president wanted to come to our synagogue this week and make some talk I would say, no, thank you for. Now. It doesn't mean you. I don't think he's our president. I just think he does bear some responsibility for this climate, and I see no we don't need him. We don't need him to help us overcome this. We don't need him. But there's still an opportunity there is no opportunity. Well, I have a different view. I think the opportunity for him to to speak out and to answer take accountability for some. Crystal is an empty suit. These people never Trumpers are just desperate to justify their position. Since Trump has done everything that conservatives have one wanted to actually not only him, but Republican presidents to do for that they have never done. So the only thing they can do is assassinated his character, which is what they. Simply do this is ridiculous. The. Wouldn't comment. I forget it was in response to a question, which elicited this could be done. You said it would have been helpful. If there was a security guard in the synagogue, there was security guards in lots of synagogues, publicly wise recommendation. Attacked by the democratic mayor of Pittsburgh forward magazine, which is an extreme left-wing Jewish magazine. Blamed him. He said that Trump blamed the synagogue, he didn't blame the synagogue. He made a a perfectly reasonable point. Nutcases out there. Will kill. And. Synagogues and other other centers schools should be defended. But the Democrats and the left are so. D ranged over gun control issues. Practical steps to take. Well, I think that's the case and the former rabbi of the synagogue, the tree of life synagogue was also interviewed. And again, I'm not blaming anyone in the aftermath of this. Because people are so upset, but the media really dragging this into a political conversation and trying to tie Trump's entire worldview to this evil. Anti-trade is an anti-trump fanatic the the shooter whose name I will not use to dignify airwaves but these airwaves, but this is what John Berman of CNN dragged, the former mayor a former rabbi, excuse me of the synagogue that suffered so greatly. Let's listen you welcome the president to Pittsburgh in the wake of this. I do not welcome the president to my city. Why not because he's.

"Absurd. You've made appearances at four David Horowitz's freedom center events again, four separate times for speeches amongst Mr. Horowitz's statements quoting here. This country is only serious race war is against whites. I'll ask the questions John McCarthy game. And I'm giving from the question. Okay. He also said if blacks are oppressed in America, why isn't there a black exits now in two thousand fifteen in your speech before the freedom center. You said of Mr. Horowitz, David has done such a great work, and I've been into Mirer adventure these conferences in the past. And I've been a big mirror of an organization that shoot straight tells the American people the truth in standing up for the right thing. Those are his words, here's my here's my voice. He didn't even made those statements then yes, he had, sir. The first statement was made. Supposed to know. Stephen somebody makes. Yeah. Look at the way the way Gillam looks at him when he squeaks like that. And this by the way, this is all this is all Jordan Peterson dominance hierarchies stuff. And he's right about some of this. So look at the body language look at who looks better on TV, look whiny and defensive look who's calm collected in clear and made those statements then yes, he had, sir. The first statement was made who the hell am I supposed to know every single statement? Somebody makes here's the deal. Let me just say this. Let me just say this straight up. You know, I've lived my life, whether it's athletics, whether it's military whether it's serving as a prosecutor, you know, when I was down. Yeah. Serving as a Florida prosecutor would be a great indicator for the sensitivity, racial Justice issue. Also, I bet go into the Cavanaugh. I played varsity sports with blacks. Yeah. Right. Actually, if you re Christian pickle book, we have on the show he talks about one of the first in. One of the first disconnects he had between being a skinhead in as in highschool was playing football with black players, and he was able to put aside his literal skinhead membership to win some games. Jenner rack we worked together as a team regardless of race. We had the American flag on our arm. We wore the same uniform, and we fought for the country when I was a prosecutor I stood up for victims of every race color and creed that's the only way to do it in our country. It's something I believe in and as governor I will represent all the people everyone will get a fair shake, but I am not going to bow down to the altar of political correctness. I'm going to not let them media smear me like a like to do with so many other people are certainly not gonna take anything from Andrew gillum. Who's endorsed the dream defenders, which says Israel is an apartheid state, and which says no place in Justice. Mr cross. Mississippi Santa's home, I wish you would wait for the question. 'cause I had a question. It's not what you think it is Mr. Gilmore give me a chance to respond. Let me first say my grandmother used to say a hit dog will holler. Through this room. Mr. Disentis spoken. Hey, first of all he's got Neo Nazis, helping him out in this state. He is spoken at racist conferences, he's accepted a contribution. And would not return it from someone who referred to the former president of the United States as a Muslim in our when asked to return that money. He said, no he's using that money to now fun negative ads. Now, I'm not calling Mr. Disentis a racist. I'm simply saying the racist believe he's a racist. This is the Santa slow if I would ask the audience to please let us through the Santa's now respond the conference. I attended was key noted by medal of honor recipient. And of course, it's perfect because he goes actually to the most pathetic form of identity politics there. There's one person playing identity politics the way people use the term pejoratively in that clip. And that's him. The pejorative critique of identity politics is that everything else is subordinate purely to your identity your positions. Don't matter your arguments. No matter your identity is the only thing that matters. And to the extent that that's ever true. That of course, is is either an incomplete picture or just wrong. And the only person that's doing that is him. I was played sports..

"Oceans energy content is inexorably rising. It is the strongest signal of global warming. Mr. Trenberth added. It's very weird. How everything bad that happens is a ineffective global warming. If it's bad snowstorms. It's an effective global warming. If that hurricane it's an effective global warming. Again, I'm not somebody who believes that humans are not contributing to global warming. I think that humans probably are contributing to global warming by all available evidence. The question is what is the climate sensitivity how much arguments contributing to global warming, and what can actually be done about that is maybe the best idea technological progress as opposed to cap and trade systems that are actually not going to mitigate the effects of global warming in any serious way. But the Washington Post nonetheless blames the president of the United States, they said the Trump administration has now attacked all three pillars of President Barack Obama's climate change plan, except when Barack Obama had his plan. The hurricanes were still hitting the United States. So this is quite silly. Also, it is worth noting that hurricanes single major hurricanes in the United States are at about their average is the the it's it's funny. The the latest line that you're hearing for awhile what you're hearing from the left is then the number of hurricanes increasing that's not true, the number of hurricanes, not increasing. Now, they say the number of hurricanes is not increasing. But the severity of hurricane. Canes is increasing. So let's look at the stats, according to this guy James Taylor, who's president of the spark of freedom foundation over at Forbes dot com. He actually went through decade by decade to look at the number of major hurricanes hitting the United States. So from two thousand one and two thousand ten seven major hurricane struck the United States, which is the one hundred year average during the preceding decade six during the decade before that four before that four and then from nineteen sixty one nine hundred seventy seven okay from nine hundred fifty one nine hundred sixty nine from nineteen forty one thousand nine hundred eleven major hurricane struck the United States during nineteen thirty one to nineteen forty eight major hurricane struck the United States from nineteen twenty one to nineteen thirty six from nineteen eleven nineteen twenty eight. So the idea that that we are now in the midst of some massive upswing in the number of radical hurricanes hitting the United States, this cystic, simply do not bear that now is that a reason to ignore whatever threats global warming is posing. No, it isn't. But to blame President Trump has been in office for a year and a half for a hurricane hitting is just in. Sane and it's not just with regard to President Trump. It's also with regard to sort of normal Republican candidates. So the latest evidence of this is the Washington Post again there the newspaper today going after Rhonda Santa's on Sunday, the Washington Post had two post reporters put together a story that runs the Santa's spoke at a conservative conference four times between two thousand seven two thousand thirteen and two thousand seventeen he spoke at the David Horowitz freedom center conference, according to the Washington Post. This means that Rhonda is no longer fit for office because he spoke four times a conference is organized by a conservative activists who said that African Americans their freedom to white people. And that the country's only serious race war is against whites is they're gonna pick everything that David has ever said that is wild. And they're going to now tribute it Toronto Santa's as opposed to when Bill Clinton stands next to Louis Farrakhan at Aretha Franklin's funeral and no one has to answer a question about us. Now, Ron Sanchez goes and speaks at what is by any measure normal conservative conference, the wide variety of speakers. Not everyone shows up agrees with everything that David Horowitz says I didn't agree with everything that David Horowitz said, but the Washington Post ran this long story suggesting that because to Santa's had spoken at this event. Therefore, he agrees with everyone at the event, it's just ridiculous. But that's the way the press are going to to treat our politics these days, and then they're surprised when it feels like there's a violent upsurge in American politics, again, they're not responsible for that violent upsurge unless they call for violence. They are responsible for raising the temperature on American rhetoric to a dangerous point coming up nor McDonald's one of the last funny working comedians on planet earth will put out of a job because left cannot tolerate anybody who is not of the left working..

"Hey, folks is Eric Metaxas. Show. I have the privilege of sitting here in the studio with Robert Spencer. He is the director of jihad watch which is a program of the David Horowitz freedom center. He's the author of eighteen books, and we are sitting here in studio together with a copy of his new book the history of jihad from Hamad to ISIS, Robert Spencer. Welcome again. And congratulations on this significant dare, I say definitive volume on one of the subjects of our time. I don't know where to begin. Because it's it's everywhere where we're living at a time where I mean when I was a kid, and I guess you were Where'd you grow up. I don't remember you mostly around Washington. Okay. So you're you're east coast are like me. I mean Islam was a non issue in in my life. I didn't know anything about it until nineteen seventy nine when the horror happen. I guess I was a senior in high school, you know, the horror of the Iranian revolution. All that. Suddenly this new thing comes on the rising, and in many ways that mostly goes away. Until the tax of two thousand and one even when the the Trade Center bombing of ninety three it was kind of like an outlier. Nobody knew what it was not unless you're paying attention less your education in this kind of stuff. And now we are in the middle of a moment in history where there is nothing more important than this thing called jihad, we as the strongest country in the world by a long shot are struggling to to to process this. And so you've written a whole book called the history of jihad from Hamad ISIS. I'm sitting here we were just talking about the fact that somehow mostly political correctness. But also, I think a genuine American style Nive Tae has colored the conversation. So it's very hard for us to see evil. We want to think that everybody is just a little misunderstood or something. We cannot imagine that we have satanic enemies who wanna. Cut our throats. We just can't really we don't think of that anymore. Something's happened in America. We we seem to have moved past that. But unfortunately, reality has not moved past that. Yeah, you're quite right. I remember it was Eisenhower who said that he thought that every American should have a religion. He didn't care which one. But religion was a good thing. And I think most Americans still assumed that if it's a religion it must teach the fatherhood of God, the brotherhood of man, not to be sexist. It must teach to the people to be kind and magnanimous. But this is unfortunately, a religion who would which has cortex that teach. You should do violence to unbelievers under these various circumstances. This doesn't mean, of course, at any time that every Muslim has been doing it or proves of it. But one thing that unfortunately comes clear in the book is that there's never been any organized Muna. Luna Muslims to stop it either. We'll see this is the issue right because I have known Muslims who are nothing like, you know, the figures and al-qaeda or whatever, but they strike me as. Not terribly serious about their faith. In other words. It's like when somebody says, so and so's the Catholic, and then you find out he's living with his girlfriend, and you think he's obviously not very serious about his Catholic Christian faith, or so, and so is a Greek Orthodox is I was raised and you find out that they don't really know anything about the bible, and they don't pray to Jesus where it just kind of like, a a cultural identity, but you're saying and have said for long time that Islam is a religion, which at its heart demands of really in some ways, some gruesome things of its followers. It's not a religion of peace as it is often cited to be as George Bush infamously said right after the nine eleven attacks. That's right. And as I show in the book the Koran teaches warfare against unbelievers Muhammed acted this out and waged war against unbelievers himself and then for fourteen th centuries from Spain to North Africa to the Middle East to Persia to India and elsewhere. Muslims have wage war against unbelievers. This is not something that was ever the province of a tiny minority of extremists. It was carried out by all the greatest Slavic empires. The caliphates of the past as it is today by groups like Al Qaeda, and ISIS and Boko haram and the rest, it's consistent theology that has never been reformed or rejected by any Muslim sect. I think maybe the reason for this. Let's call it a misunderstanding. It's it's much more than a misunderstanding. It's a horror. It's a wound in history that this misunderstanding. But I think at the center of it is this idea that every religion has serious adherents and then less serious adherence. In other words, I think that because in America today. Many people say, well, I'm I'm Christian what they really mean is I'm not a Jew. I'm not a Muslim. I guess I'm not an atheist. I'm some kind of a Christian. But then when you talk to them, I mean, if you had talked to me about my faith when I was young I really knew nothing. I mean, I was raised in Greek Orthodox church, but I didn't know what the bible really says. What are we just kind of going along for the ride? And I thought this is a big thing. But I wasn't really aware of the tenets of the religion. I hadn't looked at them. And I think many Americans are like that religion as this kind of little I don't know. It's it's it's it's like, a garnish, you know, it's not the heart and soul. It's just it's a garnish. It's just kind of their Irish, which means I'm Catholic, which means I'm Catholic, and they don't really look at it. And so we treat Islam. Similarly, we kind of think, well, it's just, you know, your era by my rich. And you know, whatever it's not we don't take it seriously. And then when you do tickets, here's the realize. Holy cow. Yes. It is something foundationally utterly different than the bible. And Christianity and Judaism, it just is it is. And this is something that we see also in the unfortunate fact that. Many would ignore and some even would deny in the face of the facts that jihad terrorists are generally devout, Muslims almost universally, and that there is a very high incidence of converts to slalom, and we all know, the converts are more devout in general because they've taken the time to think about it to pray about it to to understand what's at stake in these decisions. But also Muslims who themselves were not devout, and then because of some crisis in their life or some other change, they become devout. Those are the ones who end up becoming terrorists. Obviously, not all of them. Not all devout. Muslims are terrorists. But pretty much all the terrorists are devout Muslims. Okay. And others. They're not liars. They're not like crazy people who in the name of Christianity. You know, kill people. You're saying that what they do is consistent with a serious form of that religion. Exactly. Okay. Now, you have in many. Ways and in many circles over many years been very unpopular because you're saying that yes, this is really the reason why I am so demonized and vilify because you're saying something a lot of people don't wanna hear they would like to think that I mean, I think part of the reason it's kind of funny because I you know, I was not serious about my faith, as as you know, we've talked about this. I was raised in a Greek Orthodox church, but for me was mainly cultural. Right. It was it was not something that I didn't take at all seriously. But but I was quite ignorant, and it was cultural and then I drift off Yale University. Where there's no way you're going to be serious about your faith, unless you're really serious about your faith. And I come to faith around my twenty fifth birthday. It's dramatic conversion experience, and suddenly I realize holy cow. This is this whole world of faith that I really knew nothing about. And I think that most people in America, they treat faith a little bit. Like, hey, I'm Irish I'm Italian or they don't really. Look at the heart of it. But when you look at the heart of it you start seeing that, hey, most people who have taken their faith. Seriously. Have you know, they've they've risked dying for their faith or or so on and so forth. And it's not as though there's no unpleasant history of the crusades and stuff, and I think that's part of what confuses things in the book too. But but what you're talking about? Really is. You're saying that genuinely speaking what it means to be a Muslim is far closer to picking up the sword against non Muslims than it does to be part of this. Religion of peace. Yeah. Absolutely. And the record of history bears that out I think once very unpopular statement. That's the is that in this day and age to say what you're saying. They're just people that they refused to listen to that very brief example, a young man in North Carolina about ten twelve years ago named Mohammed Razak Tucker is our Iranian Muslim. But he was never religious and didn't know anything about Islam. He went to college. He started getting drunk. He started getting. Hi, he was the wasting his life after a while he realized and he woke up, and he thought I need to turn my life around and I'm going to in the first place. Learn about my religion and start to live it out. So he bought her on read it for the very first time started taking notes on it studying carefully. Finally, he rented an SUV and tried to run over as many students as he could on campus. He didn't kill anyone. He entered nine students before he was stopped. But he wrote then a series of letters to the campus newspaper at the university of North Carolina explaining with copious Krahn quotes, why he had realized reading the book that it was his duty to wage war against unbelievers. And he was going to do it in this way and try to kill as many as possible, and it was all set out with copious petitions from the Koran. Wow. This is heavy stuff. But I hope a lot of people are listening and taking notes or at least making out to listen to this again. And certainly to read your book, it's called the history of jihad from Muhammed ISIS by Robert Spencer, folks. It's the Metaxas show. Stick around. Opinion. This is A M nine seventy the answer. To live because global warming smelting all of their ice in some guy goes out. And buy some hybrid electric car the polar bear finds out waiting in the driveway for the new owner to get home to hug, him for buying an electric car thereby enabling the polar bear to live with the polar bear had been in a guy's. Driveway to guy would be dead The moment he got out of the car But this is the latest effort underway So get get past this idea that you could make them like you and that they're, even interested in that because, they're not they hate you too much They. Literally do folks..

"Dot com sponsored by the david horowitz freedom center but i wrote an article jihadis and drug cartel at our border a nightmare on the horizon and the point is that what people are not hearing in the media is that there were terror training camps in brazil the tri border region of brazil where brazil a bus with argentina and paraguay is home to training camps being run by hamas hezbollah their clients of iran iran also sends their elite shock troops the cuts forces to venezuela run routine flights and that's there for vacations so we've got a serious problem we've got drugs and criminals coming across the border my article highlighted one particular alien smuggling operation emanating out of syria that use brazil a staging area and although there was no mention of it in the news release from doj think about brazil is where the terror training camps are this guy from the middle east i stab himself as a resident of brazil before he began smuggling aliens from the middle east into the united states my concern is that perhaps they would taking a little detour through that triborder region to give those individuals training perhaps bring them through venezuela from this they could get travel documents we know that the venezuelan government will give identity documents falsely the people from other countries particularly the middle east facilitates the ability for muhammed to convert himself into miguel so you look at all that and then you have to ask why in the world always still having debates about the need for a border wall or immigration law enforcement and the only conclusion that i can come to and then i have come to is that the politicians from both parties want to maintain the status quo i compare them to magicians who promised to cut the lady and half we all that if he hurts a hair on her head he's going to jail no one's ever going to work with them again if and when he gets out of jail so the magician creates defective illusion and people are left gasping wondering how did he do it without hurting her the politicians from both parties know that if they want the campaign contributions from the globalist the us chamber commerce the immigration lawyers and by the way many members of congress are affiliated with immigration lawyers are our immigration law is both parties so.

"The dutch wanted answers but the new us ambassador to the netherlands didn't want to give the a here's what happened yesterday when dutch reporters confronted ambassador peter hoekstra they were challenging him on statements he made alleging that islamic extremists had attacked dutch politicians why don't answer the question answer the question it this is not worse does i'm through questions this is the netherlands you have to answer questions the bbc's annan hologhan is based in the hague so anna than the us ambassador appointed by trump is peter hoekstra former republican congressman from michigan what else can you tell us about him well at he had just been presenting his credentials to the king you can hear base if that ceremony here and then each has its own home to his new residents to meese these dutch journalists it had been set is a rather warm exchange she was standing in front of a burning fire and then it all turns rather awkward when he was once again ask to answer these questions about comments he made back in 2015 yet this is actually peter hoekstra speaking in 2015 at the david horowitz freedom center the islamic movement is now god will point were they put europe into chaos chaos in the netherlands there are cars being burned there are politicians that are being burned ben yes there are no goal zones in the netherlands are at anna are the statements made by peter host for the us ambassador to the netherlands are any of them true but this is the point because he added fuel to the fire as it were because the information that he gave in 2015 there is this kind of popular rightwing narrative that extremist islamist groups have taken over communities in parts of europe and last year you might remember at one commentator on fox news claimed.
