Washington Money news at 10 and 40 past the hour brought to you by PenFed. Great rates for everyone. Here's Erica Herskowitz. This is a Bloomberg Money Minute. For decades women have been fighting for a spot at the boardroom table yet suddenly there's been an exodus of GenX female executives. They're exhausted, frustrated and calling it quits. The problems become so acute that large companies are launching programs called returnships which as Bloomberg economic reporter Janelle Marte explains are designed to make jobs more appealing so women come back. The position is going to be somewhere in the mid -level, not the internship. It's for someone who knows what they're doing, knows this industry. Sometimes they are temporary but the goal is usually to have that person then become a full -time employee. Plagued by labor shortages more and more large companies are experimenting returnships with and Marte says that's a win for women. It's a great option for them to come back to the workforce and not have to start at the entry -level position again. Path Forward is an organization that assists with returnship programs and says participating businesses have on average converted 80 % of returnships to full -time positions. D.C. water rescue will update you coming right up after traffic and weather where the time now is one 28 on WTO fee. I think in whether IDH and when it breaks, good morning to Ian Crawford with this early hour in the WTO traffic center. Hello, do you know we had crash activity in the district or trying to get into the district anyway it was going to be on D.C. two 95 southbound right underneath eastern avenue where you leave Marilyn and enter the district and the crash was over on the right side. Unclear whether it still is, not much of the way of delays to get past this one, even if there is something in the roadway. Beyond that on D.C. two 95, you are good I two 95 is quiet, southeast southwest freeway nothing pending currently, 9 three tunnel watch for mobile work as you head toward the southwest freeway, not sure which lanes are good when you block it just has very flames here, so extra caution. South capital's read, you're going to hear dino talk about this in just a second. There is fire department activity into the Frederick Douglas bridge, not blocking a lane, but certainly drawing attention. On the Virginia beltway, the inner loop work after Leesburg pike heading toward the capitol heading toward the legion bridge, a lot of the capitol beltway, right lane is getting by on the inner loop in Maryland, the work is going to be after university boulevard heading towards New Hampshire avenue, two left lanes getting by. Back to back to Virginia very quickly, the work 66 eastbound, heading toward the capitol, bellway after nutley's Rita right lane is getting by westbound coming from false church heading toward the capital, but when you've got work as well, and that's a left plan to get by as well. Right now the headline is in and Virginia Dmitri capital bellway sluggish and down to stop and go travel from one 23 pass the dulles toll road to a point near the George Washington memorial Parkway and working your way onto the legion bridge before things start to ease up. This is a work zone, single right lane getting by and that's going to be the way of things for a while. Some people would choose to bail out and maybe use the George Washington memorial Parkway as their entrance on to the legion bridge. That's a nonstarter there too. We've got work zone northbound from one 23 all the way to the capitol bellway, a single lane getting by there. In other words, if you're trying to get to the legion bridge from Virginia into Maryland, expect a weight because there are very few work arounds here. 66 outside the beltway watch for maybe some new work that may be forming up from the fairfax county Parkway heading toward route 50. With caution for when be setting up there, we already have eastbound work on 66 near not least reading all the way to the capitol, but we had single right to get by. Westbound is your approach to capital beltway from false church heading toward the beltway. It's going to be single right lane past the work near exit 64. On 28 northbound, watch for crash an activity near old ox road, that's blocking air check check that's right link getting by, I should say. Southbound 28, the crash investigation near Orchard bridge drive, southbound lane still blocked in the district on south capital street with caution near the Frederick Douglas bridge, watch out for fire department activity may be on the bridge maybe nearby closer to the river. On Rhode Island avenue, caller found a car that had gone into physically into the park at Logan circle, following police direction to get by. And in Maryland on the capitol belly, the

That's what the crash is blocking the right side stay left with caution. Some delay, but what you're passing, you're okay heading for the 14th street bridge. Southbound third street tunnel the work after New York avenue, unclear which lanes are being blocked. There was quite a delay earlier on, but I think things have smoothed out now that they've got the work zone well and truly ensconced. We had dark traffic that go southbound, both directions on south capital street after the Frederick Douglas bridge near where you link up with I two 95. They're still dark. That's still a four waist up, not required. It is required. It's the law. Mount Vernon route one caller finding a crash on one southbound near the southern buckman road intersection near Radford avenue and blocking the left lane. 95 southbound, it's going to take some time to move from Springfield to woodbridge and from Quantico toward Fredericksburg. Long springtime volume delays on a Friday afternoon, northbound travel delays and slowdowns come in separate stretches between Fredericksburg and Springfield and all around the bellway in Maryland and Virginia. It is a pretty slow going on many portions of the beltway 66 west of at two 70 north of it. And between the beltways on 95 of the Baltimore Washington Parkway. And French George's county on the outer loop. It is extra slow to your Andrews because of a crash that happened north of X 11 route four. It's off on the left side.
