"Oh chargers plus when thirty paul torn plus when twain baltimore love that game nice. I like the game. Well baltimore's so that's why like the charge much better. Next time i got dallas minus three eight new england. I don't get this line. Doing was not very good. The only thing they really impressed was at tampa game was a lot emotions going on with tom. Brady's returns on national. Tv is third raining which hurt the offense a little bit. The patriots offense is afraid of more than five yard. Place they they do not run anything. dallas looks. Pretty good to me. Dax kind of jumping into the. Mvp conversation zeke web hitting on all year x. Looks pretty good. So i might be eating shit on that this season. Avi still have cd. Landmark cooper dalton. Schultz's stepped up. Nice reliable tight end spot so to me. Dallas minus three. I don't care they're going to foxborough. I think people are giving too much credit. Bill ballot check in defense who hasn't been orderly impressive. Either this season so meet dallas minus three Easy lock right in the last lock. Heifers fred plays. Green bay minus. It's five and a half now again. Timer was four and a half now. The five and a half. I will bet that. I'm still confident. Chicago's offense into team. Journals have been a dumpster fire with nagy praying. The offense running team feels a little banged up. He has looked awful in his first two games. And then you throw in the running back for now down to williams on the cova lister downtown. Herbert i think his name is Something like that picked up and fancy surface. The i picked him up in when robinson is vacant right now. I'm not sure what happened to him. Defenses a little banged up bears defense. We saw a couple of years ago. So i think green bay is really starting to hit their charlotte with rogers back in. You know. aaron jones is still there. Adams's silveira they'll be fine Five and a half from four and a half solid all through those spreads. Nice jumping to parlay again In here this was a five team. All money. line parlay all favorites. But it's green bay dallas touched on buffalo's already indie versus houston at houston's a joke i don't i don't see anything else. I'm not saying it is good but houston exist. I'll bet against them rams versus giants. That's gonna be a blowout. I am not concerned A rams fan here that can be blow out and then wrap it up only game. I'm kinda shaky on. But i keep on betting on washington. But they're not good so take kansas city here because i don't see into city drop into. What is it three and three then. I don't see it happening. So take all five of those teams. Green bay dallas the rams kansas city indie plus three eighty tampa like mardi happen Head sales plus five hundred and then if you really wanted to throw in the chargers just to make things you miss a template so there was a game. I really like Or you can even do..

There's places reserved just for case unfit for people who are young and feel young place to go when you're old and to search for something that doesn't often exist in the places they look for it. Everybody has to be excited for when it's done, and we don't have to wear them. But at the same time Can't just walk into a store right now and not wear a mask and expect that it's not gonna be an issue, particularly if you're Bruce Willis. Yeah, That's why I don't believe his apology because what's the apology? What did he say? What's the statement? He said It was an error in judgment. Well, come on everyone, and let's continue to mask up. You just forgot. Well, No, Because so he had this bandanna tied around his neck. You know that passes as a face covering on D was asked to leave the rite Aid after he refused to wear a mask and made customers and other employees upset. God, Dude, he's 65. I don't know. "I kind of think that both bears and Packer fans ready for this one week 17 of the NFL season and Brian one of the few games today, where both teams would like to get a victory. He had no doubt about it, Fred, obviously Green Bay playing for by number one overall seed, and so that's incentive enough, and we all know I mean, you live in this city, and you're even if you're not the most diehard of bears fans. You realize what's at stake here and again. People are conflicted already on Twitter feeds. I see Bears fans. I mean, how do you not? Get juiced for a bear Packer game. That actually means something for the Bears and right. But given this season, I understand it. I mean, I absolutely understand how people are conflicted because You were weak, 17, Fred, and we still don't know. Yeah, well, they're who we thought they are. No, we don't know who they're tonight. Today. And maybe tonight After today, we'll have a much more clear picture of Legit, You know, training the right way or this was all guest bad teams, and we're back to square one about who stays and who goes? Yeah, 3123323776. It'll be interesting Throughout the entire course of the game. We got a couple of poll questions will run those down in a couple minutes. One of the articles in the paper today said this is the Bears biggest regular season game since the 2013 finale. If you remember what happened with that one? Yes, Someone fell down. I was just 38 seconds left, Aaron Rodgers threw a touchdown pass to Randall Cobb from 48 yards out of 4th and 8th. Keep the bears out of the playoffs. Let's hope it doesn't come down to that. That was disgusting. I remember Dad. Everybody, everybody's all pumped up and all of a sudden they used leave Randall Cobb. Open it to say, Oh, my God. What? Yeah, it Z. It was E. We've seen that game so many times before, but that actually kept the bears of a playoff game. And it's not an annual experience where the Bears are in class. So A couple years ago. Great. You know if you would like it to be sustained success, Theo like it to be knocking on the door every year, Just trying to get to the Super Bowl, But you never know. I mean, 12 and four becomes eight. Nate becomes what? After today, nine and seven. Yeah. Yeah, And one of our poll questions is what do you think is the result of the Bears game today? Um, uh, You know the results of the day it you know today, Will they be the six seed which they could do? A lot of people don't even know that they just thought that They could be just weekend, but a technically could be the sixth seed. If they win, and Arizona wins. They've is 60. The Rams would be out of the playoffs. So a the six seed be the seventh seed. See Pink slips or deep, no playoffs, but status quo going forward. Yeah, That's one of our poll question. You get it at on Twitter at no one gets it right. You lose the game, but hey, three game win streak. Pick yourself up off the mat. The offense. Went from the the absolute worst in the NFL or pretty much 31st 30 seconds in every major category two more than respectable and putting together a 30 plus 30 or more points a game for four or five weeks. So everything's good and we'll come back and try to get next year. So everyone's back the GM, the coach, the quarterback, and we'll just tweak some things will be good to go to go after Green bag and next year. Yeah, one of the other poll questions is if the Bears win the game today, and I've already had people say, What do you mean? If it should be when the Bears well, yeah. Yeah, So if the reprimanded Yes, I think so. If the Bears win, this game will be because of Mitch in the offense or the defense. And you know, people always look at it and you'll see the back page of papers and it'll say True biscuit against right is that true biscuit Rogers and out of the field the same time it's Mitch against the Packer defense and his Rogers against the Bears defense. And when you look at Mitch and Aaron Rodgers, there's no question who the better quarterback is. So you know which defense needs to step on, Maura. That's the Bears defense. Try to slow down the Packers with Davante Adams and with their three headed running game, which they have now, all of a sudden, with Dylan coming in after last week and step it up, and I'm always scared about their tight ends. Robert Onion, and you know they could score from everywhere but they are without their big stud left tackle. Yes. David back T r E So you know time for the defense Tol. Restoration. Rogers get there and Rogers put him on his rear end. You know, being mean spirited at times. Sometimes I'm like that. I don't know. You know, uh, I thought OK. True biscuit in the offense Bears defense she injury to Roger's Davante Adams. Yeah, we didn't go see, we just want to air B. We want right to be in the bear's hands. Yeah, definitely and s O see what happens with the game. You could always jump on and give your comments 3123323776. The Watch yesterday. I glutton for punishment. I guess I said that Watch the Packers Titans game again. No, and it's very interesting because in that game What? It was 66. Nothing because they missed the first extra point. They tighten stopped the Packers and they got called for hands to the face, which continue to drive and that they actually went out and scored again. And that after that, it was over with. They just kept scoring and The Titans actually had to stop, and it could have been a different game. If one of their guys doesn't get a handsome the face of 13 8, and they actually had stopped the Packers and they were gonna end up putting. And then there's the flag sitting there with snow so They can't be stopped. The question is, could this bears defense stab him with a couple guys in the secondary that our young guys Duke Shelly and also Kendall build are filling in for Jalen Johnson and Buster screen? Can they slow down and Aaron Rodgers and like You said it, You've got to get to kind of put pressure on it, but I've heard people I was watching earlier today. Fox with Jodi Jack. And they are Lucan Ellis, and they're talking about blitzing. I'm telling you You could. You could do that. But I can get burned too. Oh my God. You could blitz Aaron Rodgers and he will beat you and I don't know, they said. I think they said four of his five interceptions this year. Four of his five interceptions again that four of his five interceptions came when he was being blitzed. Okay, That sounds like a nice little number by so many times, he'll pick up the blitz. He's one of the smarter quarterbacks you will ever see..

"I've got an incredible guest. His name is Pat Hellmers and the man likes to babble. He's from sales babble and I've had the wonderful opportunity need to be on his podcast a handful of times and finally I convinced him to come onto mine so pat man. How you doing Brian of doing great. Thanks for having me on the Bacon. They can podcast dude. It is a pleasure not only do we get to meet in person around the Chicago land area but man. I've been to your joint and you know you've got some cool stuff going on but we're not here to talk about us. We're here to talk about podcasting so before we get started. I want my people to know how did you go from being the dude walking around in a mall with a clipboard annoying people to the dude with the microphone walking around interviewing people in. I I was in college. I had this job you know we did market research and you don't have malls anymore. People Eleonore people still do this back in those days we would just plucked people off the side and we would ask them questions about rice and Chrysler stuff like that and it it was a it was an awful lot of fun and although that's not at all the path that I went down to life. I went down the path as an engineer software engineer. I learned a lot of skills from that that I still use today like once you ask somebody a question. You ask wants to give you an answer. You say well what else they give you another answer. You say what else may give you another anti say what else and it's interesting that the third or fourth what else is when you really good a good answer. That's that's a big takeaway. I got from that is like ask questions and listen and see that's kind of the basis of a podcast too. Is You know what would most people people don't realize is we kind of have a philosophy in this game and I know you have the same thing that I do. Is You know there's a lot of podcasts out there. That are formulaic. You know the the seven questions matter of fact. I just got interviewed on one of those today. And of course I always tried to take down some other stream but you know so in the case of you and I in yes absolutely well because you know I just I don't do formulaic very well but in the case of us we have this philosophy of walking into a starbucks and you and me you're sitting down and we're just having a conversation in my goal with you is because you're on my podcast and I'm meeting with you is to pick your brain. I WANNA learn what goes on inside that little little mind of yours that can help me be better at what I do because you know more about sales than I do and so if I could pick your brain about sales and learn something take away something that I could give to my audience. That'd be cool but here's the secret is. The audience is right here. They're actually sitting around us. You know the tables those nearby kind of eavesdropping and let me ask you this. Have you ever been to starbucks. Having a meeting in somebody tapped on the shoulder and goes yeah. I WanNa know that to actually I remember once we were at the coffee shop in the Barnes and nobles in lady stepped up and said this is really interesting conversation like pick ups create more eavesdropping but I guess that's a couple mini yeah it is it means that that you're doing something that interests people right and I mean that's what kind of sales is about. Is You know giving people something of value right yeah right Yup Yup so you know why why do you take sales and turn it into a podcast me. Why are you doing a podcast. I know why I'm I'm doing it is to pick your brain. What's in it for you. What are you doing it for. I just I think I'm scratching each Brian that that was was really bugged bugging me. I you know being in sales for years and spending an awful lot of time behind the windshield. I've always been fascinated by listening to podcast but I could never find that at sales podcast that was that was perfect. I'm remember we were talking earlier. Just before we got started here I I started listening to a podcast called Gulf smarter by Fred Fred Green and I I really enjoyed the way he interviewed people in the way the conversation just jump you know authentically volved in and changed over time and I was thinking boy if somebody could do that in a sales podcast when that'd be awesome wonder who would do that and that's and then one day my my wife and I we're going what we call it. We sit about sales babble. I went looked up the the domain and next thing you know I'm a podcast. So why babble and why would you use the term sales babble the ask the average person what's the first thing that comes to their mind. When you say the word sales they commonly say ah or they got a or pushy or assertive or aggressive or people? Don't people don't like that. People don't see selling the way that I see at this selling is really just about try is match making a certain degree trying to understand what problems people have in the world and seeing Evan possibly you could help fix that somehow end in great sales is really about having conversations with people to you know to better understand that but but that's a whole lot of people see it so all that other stuff to me. It's just a lot of babble. just it's just a bunch of Baloney and when I would like to do is try to clear all that out so the subtitle of the PODCAST is selling secrets for non sellers so the idea that you don't have to be you know an assertive outgoing knowing gregarious you know person you know to be to be successful at sales. You could actually be a bit of an introvert as long as you have an attitude. You'd like I I. I'd like to like to help you. The Path that success is really trying to understand whether or not with people's problems are and whether or not you have what it takes to help them when you go in there with the attitude of let me see if I can help you versus an attitude of issued by my crap changes your whole mindset set. Sometimes they tell the story. You've heard the story. I've I've. I've told this publicly a few times like what if all of a sudden someone was to call you up on the phone and you looked at. It's somebody that you love deeply but you don't expect them to call you. At this time of day. I can build a day and they said Brian. I was just in a car accident. What's the first thing you would say oh my God. What else would you say what happened. What else would you you say his everybody else okay. What else would you say. Do you have insurance. Isn't it interesting to all the things that you said. Here are questions Dan because you're trying to better understand what's going on. You wouldn't do this right. You wouldn't say look at this what you need to do when you pull your phone right now. Take pictures retire accident wanting to make sure the phone number of the person that you hit. I WanNa make sure your badge number of the officer you WanNa do that. You want to start lecturing people. That's kind of how a lot of selling is the seller walks up and says you know what you need to do. You need to buy my crap. Let me walk through a bullet list of features and try to explain to you why this is the right thing to do as opposed to are you okay. How's things going in your business out. Think's going in in your life. What are you struggling with right now. We're we're what are the boundaries that you. You find very difficult to get around. How come why what else what else we go to the right right you know and that's and I think that's if you have a mindset of like wow I really care about you. I'm really empathetic empathetic. I do care about you. I'd like to know what happened to you with. Let's see if I can. Maybe maybe I can come pick you up. Mummy makes them phone calls for you. Maybe I can help you somehow and that's that's the path to success when it comes to selling to love that story in it kind of leads into the the philosophy that I use with Lincoln. I mean and I just got off this interview and the guy sent me an email from this company that.

"Show there's a lot happening around here was sloppy and unprofessional and very often we're not listening to each other we are professional communicators who will come communicate very poorly and so in the history of the show there is no more famous sound for not listening then still god's not listening when Steve Martin had already been mentioned as a prop comic Steve Martin was a prop comic he was yeah yeah you came out with an arrow through his head some people found that funny Steve Martin also. you said that so that is two guys not listening now Mike tried to rival that the other day it was very recent Mike tried to rivals to gods for not listening with this gem put it on the pole who was the first one to rock the crucifix hearing was it Barry Bonds was at Lawrence Taylor was the George Michael I did the bonds also do that did the buzz through the crucifix hearing I'm not sure is a George Michael that's what I just said now was it you think so I wasn't listening. so now we have the latest example he doesn't play that one might nearly as much as the boy is mine that what yours is funny that's why and we are told that's the polity here are produced some magical still god's not listening that you would think she got I understand why students doesn't listen to me he's been hearing me and us Yammer for more than a decade one of the other funny parts of these videos third randomly re drafting the two thousand twelve NBA draft this sound you're about to hear is a random redrafted right I don't know but it's still got this to ponder the letter. and he's talking to CJ McCollum although you will not hear CJ McCollum in this clip on this week's deposit which comes out tomorrow there's a random re drafting of the two thousand and twelve draft and here again is another example because at this point this is where we are with your god all right because still got just grabbing at everything in the company there I mean during the break up because we've got like this thing being built out here so that's during the break was just pointing at me and saying I can do around the horn out during highly questionable right so I can get back on my drive earlier like I what I can do it now with two o'clock because of this new room still got once a little bit of everything and is talking to everybody at all times just sitting over here and go look in the window he listened to the game in his house asking somebody to make something out of him just yelling at his television like he's got people all over ESPN working to create his empire eight of factory of still got to elves trying to build it at every turn and so he's too busy talking to listen so here is the only ones to ponder the drops tomorrow. here the big names in that draft okay Harrison Barnes Andre Drummond Damian Lillard Bradley Beal Dion waiters what fourth if the Davis Dion waiters what before Damian Lillard let that sink in dream on green in the second round Khris Middleton in the second round Austin rivers was J. Crowder for a long greens in that drafters Middleton's an address. I sure do. we can't have more proof that god is only interested in when the sound stops so he can start talking that's what listening is disturbed god when will that noise stop so that I can go back to giving my opinion when you're talking to everyone you could only hear one person. what did not put on the pole Allison does to gods have two miles in one year what does that mean I have no idea. but you're talking to a lot of people and a lot of people talking back to you and I can only handle one voice at a time but I don't know what he's got many in his head as you know let's play that again so you can hear us do god's doesn't listen to anybody about anything is just waiting for his turn to talk his turn to steal information from the internet or from a text or that he could turn into something that's the other thing there are so many people producing stir got set this point it's not just our Rome it's he's leaving actively from the realities in the Greensburg some the goalie the way it goes the entire window family. so this is what ends up happening even as a producer is trying to help here the big names in that draft okay Harrison Barnes Andre Drummond Damian Lillard Bradley Beal Dion waiters what fourth if the Davis Dion waiters what before Damian Lillard let that sink at three nine green in the second round Khris Middleton in the second round Austin rivers one J. "And your god percent I want to say you've gots polling experts here in the state of Arizona who are now saying their data showing you will narrowly passed soon if it's on the ballot in twenty twenty so when I say if it is on the ballot in twenty twenty you need to know that there are groups of individuals most of them being represent you know mostly representing dispensaries rather that are trying to craft an initiative that would be on the ballot now they're gonna have to go out and get the signatures required right in order to go through that process yeah and because they are trying to her own put it make the critics happy you make those that are concerned that were very successful in defeating the measure last time like parents and law enforcement and health officials this group is trying to go out in the peas those those factions for this next iteration of the the law on its scaring the legislatures in Arizona because if it is passed by initiative then we're kind of stuck with the language of that initiative the way our state constitution works if the legislature were to pass sets or to get their ballot on the measure than they would have the the ability to change it at the capitol and not have to keep going back to the people to change it it is interesting because you know I've been in this before and I I I I only have my time frame I just can't think of something else where attitudes have changed so quickly and it seems like every single election cycle it either passes it started with medical marijuana then became recreational and anywhere where it didn't pass you look at the new numbers and it looks like it might like it is a wave it coming and there's still the issue of it's against the law on a federal level yet you have individual states of sea its legal with all this it just strikes me as one of those issues that and I agree with you we would be better off if the Arizona state legislature crafted and came up with some sort of the bipartisan law that addresses recreational marijuana as opposed to letting and and let's just be honest the special interest groups the people that stand to benefit from recreational marijuana let them write the law themselves Hey I can acknowledge that we would be better off now do what do our lawmakers have the guts to do that I haven't exactly seen that either well yeah they they might be a very tough hill to climb but I think it's worth it for them to buckle down and try to make it happen because right now this initiative is sixteen pages long okay it is ten thousand words and it's being called a cannabis Christmas tree pretty much meaning there's something in there for everyone cannabis Christmas tree so it just got some people excite man who could buy recreational marijuana under this initiative as it stands right now well you have to be twenty one you have to show identification you could legally possess up to an ounce of marijuana and medical marijuana card holders right now can possess two and a half ounces okay that seems like a lot okay how much we have no concept of you but to have fences where wanted from me how much that is how much new cash would marijuana sales generate okay dollars right now to believe there would be a sixteen percent sin tax on marijuana the same as like on cigarette who's yeah and it would bring in an estimated three hundred million dollars a year within the four years after the law took effect okay now the taxes apply to medical marijuana no no no no that would increase along and so we're without money go well a lot of it would be divided equally among public safety agencies the state highway fund and community college okay all right have a usually it's puppies and children right well I but I mean like it okay so why are we talking public agencies well because you've got a lot of law enforcement that are quite concerned about what a recreational marijuana law in Arizona would do how would make their lives more difficult and how would public safety be protected so in this marijuana would have to be tested and label users could not smoke while driving in could be busted for impairment that's also going for medical marijuana folks right right right just because you have a medical marijuana card does not mean you can drive impaired products that appeal to children like edible gummies would be banned and employers would also be able to ban marijuana in the work place home it sounds like we're working this out but it feels like we're working it out kind of in a very clumsy way why why you feel that well I just I get back to the idea that this is sixteen pages in ten thousand words house a clumsy arm because what they eat because it's a cannabis Christmas tree and they're trying to appease all of these different groups again if you went back and had the legislature just passed that is a law and had that written into law you wouldn't necessarily have to hand out the goodies or benefits or promises a two all together in the goodies in the promises that they're handing out as to law enforcement to school but we hear that all the I've lost track how many times I've heard that the the increase in revenue is going to go to and yet there's never enough money so I don't I don't buy a lot number no it's not just about the money it's about some of the concerns like banning gummies right so we so we're gonna try to buy off the group that is opposed to that well what about the input okay we'll try to buy that group off because your your little part of it I don't know if it's a can we all agree that nobody should be driving under the influence I don't think anybody off I think that that's a knowledge and an issue in a concert people how I don't disagree so we all agree on that so white as white as a public safety need money from that if it wasn't for buying off their silence for lack of better terms than where the where should the money go if you're not gonna give the public safety because you think that that's buying someone off well then we're sure that three hundred million dollars got have the foggiest idea okay yeah but I'm but follow them allocating it but I mean this state legislature allocates tax dollars every single day and doesn't a variety ways you've heard about education you've heard about you know there's enough money for this rainy day fund they do that all the time but the idea that you need to in a ballot initiative again address all of the individual issues a different groups have and you would dress it by saying we will you get some money I call that pet buying people off I don't know what else to call I think that the legislator what else alternately half to do the same thing so they wouldn't have to I don't think this the the the state legislature has to buy off the public safety people if they pass a law they would you maybe include money in there an increase in the budget drug education or on Thursday I don't think it's the same as a private individuals saying we'll we'll give you a look at all the money you're going to get a few guys Joe stop opposing the one question that everyone's going to ask is where is that estimated three hundred million dollars going to go it was a good education but it was a big thing in Colorado then that's where it goes from like red Fred to green Fred you know right right right so some people are gonna ask where does the money go now that they're saying here's here's how we would allocate the money that's the position is the big bought off but my principal is I think we should legalize marijuana for a variety of reasons the revenue not being the top of the list in any way shape or form but you can't ignore it no well I mean there's an opportunity to make money and they're great also you know if it benefits the state of Arizona if it goes from being a black market which obviously it is now you know somebody's body why not the state is in getting its cut in taxes if if that benefits is that great but I think there's a lot of reasons why we should have legalized marijuana that have nothing to do with revenue so right now again you would have to get you being you know the the supporters of this they need to collect about two hundred forty thousand signatures like a lot man to be able to do that okay I think they'll they'll probably collect a heck of a lot more so that you know they can kind of tied the goddess so to speak but they could have a July of next year in order to get on the November ballot which means the legislature would have to move quickly to get their own as well so yeah Arizona's twenty twenty marijuana initiative is is trying to fix a lot of what went wrong in twenty sixteen are they are they appeasing those concerns are they just trying to buy them often are we getting closer here in the state of Arizona it seems to be yes yes and yes ma'am but what we'll see in a this isn't going away will be talking about it I have a feeling more we get a check of the headlines on the way Bob Eccles got that for you and then we're going to talk about dog fishing it okay first off it is not what you think this is not about dogs like Bob panels are going fishing for catfish completely different this is the world of online dating and I'm terminology that you need to be aware of for going to talk about it right after publicly gets a small Cup of those stories.

"Talking NBA free agency, or about to get it on at six o'clock tomorrow night, where teams can officially begin signing these players depending on what sort of illegal agreements, they've already constructed with NBA teams and look. I'm real simple on this. I think there's a ton to talk about here. You wanna talk about your teams. Plan, whether you like it or you don't I dig eight five five two one two four CBS, you want to get into the individual players, some of their idiosyncrasies the, you know, who do you want. Who do you not want may might? It's pretty easy. I love quiet Leonard. I don't want nothing to do with Kyrie Irving been there done that have seen it kyri tries to be the smartest guy in the room and there are people around him. Don't even know what makes them happy. That is not the kinda guy that I want, sink a four or five year deal into, but he can't deny all of these players talents, and that's all why they're going to get all this money are there. Guys, you want or don't want. Are there players that you would love to see pair up is Kevin Durant, and Leonard a pair, you wanna see? Oh, I don't know, maybe rehab, the New York Knicks. If they go there. Or are those two guys, maybe the dudes that can push the Los Angeles Clippers over the edge. Do you wanna see certain guys go play LeBron James and Anthony Davis with the Lakers? There's a lot to get into whether you wanna make it about the players about the teams about the philosophy or about your particular team. Eight five five two one two four CBS at bone Brenton sent me on Twitter, a like to hear your thoughts on what the bucks should do this NBA free agency resign, your guys. That's my message to them. Re-sign Middleton resigned. Brogden try to keep that group together as much as you possibly can tell you this. If you lose out on Kyrie Irving, who looks like he's going to the Brooklyn. Nets. Although I say, I still think he's gonna end up a Laker. And if you miss out on Kemba Walker who is supposed to be going to the Boston Celtics. Then Malcolm Brogdon ain't a bad way to go. And if you go into restricted free agent market, not only brogden but also DeAngelis Russell. Now, you gotta talk to you about the whole issue would Russell in trusting teammates and yada, yada, yada. But they're still players. They're eight five five two one two, four CBS. That's right. Back to these phones got one line available. I'm first-come-first-served operation. Matt is in Cleveland. Kicking off our two of the gresh show on CBS sports radio. What's up Matt? Muskrats. How you doing? I'm good, brother. We have today. Hey, I'm very intrigued about Kevin Durant. Hawaii teaming up just because of the fact that I, I can't stand LeBron one these super teams that keep on winning just try to match Jordan. But besides that I'm trying to figure out. And if you probably know the salary cap better than I do. Would it be smarter for Durant if he's the team up a quiet assign a one in one with whatever team because there's litter, there's no risk for him? He's already heard can't get hurt anymore. And then year to sign the max deal so that the team can go over to salary cap, assign him and pick role players to go around them a whole lot better than the, the Lakers handwriting. Right now. You know, what's interesting, Matt, and I'd ask you this. If you were an owner and you were you wanted and you wanna Durant, would you give him a year of free money to rehab knowing that, if you give him a one on one, you either got a bully him into resigning, or, you're leaving the door ajar? See, I think the injury takes away short term options from Kevin Durant. I get what you're saying. It is a risk for the owner. But it is a team for ramp that he knows that could be built around him. A lot better than if he was assigned amac, quite right now than their salary cap, whoever it is, you're basically stuck with whoever you have. Pointing to know it is in math. Thanks, brother. And look, you're thinking, and that's a good thing. And that's what we have to do in situations like this. But I think if Kevin Durant wanted his freedom, he would have opted in for a year with the Golden State Warriors taking their money. And then in a free agent next year. And then go wherever he wants that, that's my best guess visit if he really wanted to do that. He could hit the pause button. Hey, I'm among the people, and Matt your thinking, which I like because one of the things that I threw out there. Was maybe Kevin Durant, just sits out this year and doesn't sign a contract and then gets himself, right? And then reenters the free agent market next off season where teams can maneuver and get their building. And it gives K D a year to sort of see where all these free agents end up this year, and then he can be more selective in choosing where he wants to go. But it appears he's gonna take that big time contract. He's going to make his decision. He's going to rehab. He'll be around the team. And then you'll have him in two thousand twenty two thousand twenty one season Fred in Green Bay next on the gresh show, CBS sports radio. What's up, Freddie? How you doing? I'm good man. What do you have today? Are two questions and the second question you've got talkable more talks. But my first question is, do you think I don't think about LeBron? The N quite matching up coming together. You think they're like at the end of the season. Like while used score twenty points per game. But now we have three all stars. And maybe two of them are scoring twenty six twenty four twenty five PM no one is on fifteen or seventeen point three and you think they are about that at all. You know that's a good question. And I gotta think that under your scenario fits, Colli LeBron and AD then everybody will learn how to share. And I think that if they if those guys came together and say they lost in a Western Conference finals because they didn't have enough around them. Those guys would be able to accept that. But if they if they all sacrifice and it doesn't work and everybody's bickering with each other, then that whole thing is going to end up exploding because everybody would get selfish. And if they are Anthony Davis might have the ability to walk out. The door t end of the year. So my guess, Fred is that they'll have everybody will sort of. Shelve, their egos, considering there are big time players, those three guys are big timers, correct, her on my, second my question what you talked about four FOX, I think it's pivotal for more people from office during the era, who all get so one, and all I understand signed Brockton, but possibly, we'll get to another second tier superstar like. You know, I think the box are on their way in Fred. Thank you. I say, keep it together. If they keep it together, they've got enough and Jaanus is getting better and better and better. If you look at Milwaukee. As if Janas is. It didn't look like Hawaii had a lot of superstars around him. And you could tell me the kala Lowry get superstar money, but I mean, I've done sports radio for twenty two years now. And I don't hear Kyle Lowery's name coming out of the mouth of NBA fans whenever you start to think about the big time players in the league. So from that end, you know, I don't think collide played with a superstar, but I think as long as he's the superstar in the guy, they know they can count on which I think Yanna started to develop into that this playoff run, then just keep it together. Let the star continue to grow. Let those other guys continue to eat get better because it seems like they've got something really good going on in Milwaukee. And that ownership group. I hope doesn't look at it and say, well, we really don't wanna pay over the tax. This is their chance for them to really cement themselves as one of the two best teams in the Eastern Conference. And I hear what you're saying. Saying in do they need to bring in another stud. I think you sign the guys back. You see what happens this year? And then if you have to go that route, you've got the ability to play the trading contracts game to make something worth and bringing a big timer in eight five five two one two, four CBS, eight five five two one two four two two seven. Tony is in Florida. He's got a thought on Kevin Durant on the gresh show on CBS sports radio. Hi, tone. What's up? Hey, thanks for taking my call. I appreciate it. You ask the question. If, if I was a fan and I wanted to take a chance, Kevin Durant. Come to my team and my answer. That is absolutely. I would love Kevin Durant come to the Miami. Even don't sit out for whole nother year. The reason in this the Miami Heat is not making the playoffs next year. And if they do they're going to be the best. So no nobody better to Dan. Kevin Durant come to this team and sit out for one. Yeah. I would love it. Also these only two differences between the blonde James and Leonard, and that is why Leonard, as younger and, and he's quieter other than that day. The same players just as fake strong facet as LeBron James, and he's also beaten LeBron and became the MVP also an leave it at this, I'm doing delivery delivery with Uber right now. So I'm running behind. I'll leave you with this. If Steph curry, I love stuff. I think he's an excellent one. The best three point shooters of. All time. But if he wanted to make his name as one of the greatest of all time he needed to win that series and carry that team and he couldn't do it. Thanks for taking my call. That's interesting. Thank you. Brother tend to Tony go. Get those go get that food delivered their. Boy, that's a harsh on, on Steph curry, and I understand where you're coming from. I don't know. I completely agree with it. I'm still very open ended on that topic. And I admit I haven't fully vetted it and fully thought about it in my own mind to be able to give you the educated thought at first glance, it's a little rough, and they start to think of it, and you're like, okay, maybe considering what collide did that one point where he scored you know, ten in a row? And I forget what game that was. But that's something we're thinking about, hey, I have argued that Colli Leonard. Right. Now's the best player in the NBA. So I could buy the LeBron comparisons Ming LeBron is turned. It into a little more. I mean, you know, LeBron just thick and big and LeBron is a physical freak in a manner in which we've never seen before. Whereas coli has kind of the normal dimensions of a basketball player and he's really good at playing the game. And he can impact the game in every way I got a lot of respect for Colli Leonard. And here's what I would say on Katie on the heat. I wonder if superstars. Who are peers of LeBron James? They don't want to go to Miami, because that's what LeBron did and it Katie went down there. And they won say two championships in four years. Did it would be along just gonna get compared to LeBron when Kevin Durant has been very vocal over the years, including all the way back to the NBA draft in saying, I'm sick of being a bridesmaid? I just don't know if a match with the Miami Heat would work given the history of LeBron having gone there, because there will always be those comparisons. I think it's got to be someone who is not appear of LeBron James to go there, and try to do what LeBron did with the Miami Heat in my opinion, eight five five two one, two, four CBS, eight five five, two one two, four two two seven coming to you live for the rocket mortgage by Quicken Loans studios rocket mortgage with you every step of the way to provide a seamless mortgage experience and be a free agency..

"People joining me today, talking NBA free agency, or about to get it on at six o'clock tomorrow night, where teams can officially begin signing these players depending on what sort of illegal agreements, they've already constructed with NBA teams and look. I'm real simple on this. I think there's a ton to talk about here. You wanna talk about your team's plan, where the alike it or you don't. I dig eight five five two one two, four CBS. You wanna get into the individual players some of their idiosyncrasies, so you know who do you want? Who do you not want? May minds pretty easy. I love Leonard. I don't want nothing to do with Cairo serving been there done that have seen it kyri tries to be the smartest guy in the room and there are people around him. Don't even know what makes them happy. That is not the kinda guy that I wanna sink four or five year deal into. But he can't deny all of these players talents. And that's alternately why they're going to get all this money are there. Guys, you want or don't want. Are there players that you would love to see pair up is Kevin Durant, and Leonard a pair, you wanna see? Oh, I don't know. Maybe he had the New York Knicks if they go there or are those two guys, maybe the dudes that can push the Los Angeles Clippers over the edge. Do you wanna see certain guys go playboy, LeBron James and Anthony Davis with the Lakers? There's a lot to get into whether you wanna make it about the players about the team's about the philosophy or about your particular team. Eight five five two one two four CBS at bone Brenton sent me on Twitter, a like to hear your thoughts on what the bucks should do this NBA free agency resign, your guys. That's my message to them. Re-sign middleton. Re-signed brogden, try to keep that group together as much as you possibly can tell you this. If you lose out on Kyrie Irving, who looks like he's going to the Brooklyn. Nets. Although I say I still think he's gonna end up Laker. And if you miss out on Kemba Walker who is supposed to be going to the Boston Celtics. Then Malcolm brogden ain't a bad way to go. And if you go into restricted free agent market, not only brogden but also DeAngelis Russell. They gotta talk to you about the whole issue would Russell and trusting teammates and yada, yada, yada. But they're still players. They're eight five five two one two four CBS right back to these phones. I got one line of able, I'm a first come first, serve operation. Matt is in Cleveland kicking off our two of the gresh show on CBS sports radio. What's up Matt much Chris? How're you doing? I'm good brother will you have today? I'm very intrigued about Kevin Durant. Kobe teaming up just because of the fact that I can't stand LeBron once these super teams that keep on winning just try to match Jordan. But besides that I'm trying to figure out. And if you probably know the salary cap LA better than I do. Would it be smarter for Durant if he's the team up a quiet assign a one in one with whatever? Team because there's litter there's no risk for him. He's already heard can't get hurt anymore, and then year to sign max deal so that the team can go over to salary cap, assign him and pick role players to go around them better than the, the Lakers handwriting. Now, you know, what's interesting, Matt, and I'd ask you this. If you were an owner and you are you wanted and you wanted Durant. Would you give him a year of free money to rehab knowing that, if you give him a one on one, you either got a bully him into re-signing, or you're leaving the door ajar? See, I think the injury takes away short term options from Kevin Durant. I what you're saying I am. It is a risk for the owner. But it is a team for ramp that, you know that it'd be built around him. A lot better than iffy worse. Assign, amac. Why right now than their salary cap whoever it is, you're basically stuck with whoever you have. Because pointing to know it is in math. He couldn't hit the pause button. Hey, I'm among the people, and Matt your thinking, which I like because one of the things that I threw out there. Was maybe Kevin Durant, just sits out this year and doesn't sign a contract and then gets himself, right? And then reenters the free agent market next off season where teams can maneuver and get their ability, and it gives k b a year to sort of see where all these free agents end up this year, and then he can be more selective in choosing where he wants to go. But it appears he's gonna take that big time contract. He's gonna make his decision. He's going to rehab. He'll be around the team. And then you'll have him in two thousand twenty two thousand twenty one season Fred in Green Bay next on the gresh show, CBS sports radio. What's up, Freddie? I'm good man. What do you have today? Two questions and the second question you talked about more FOX, but my first question is, you don't want the money, but you think about LeBron. The N quite matching up coming together. You think they're like at the end of the season like while you score twenty points per game. But now we have three all stars. And maybe two of them are scoring twenty six twenty four twenty five PM no one is on fifteen or seventeen point three and you think they are about that at all. You know that's a good question. And I gotta think that under your scenario fits LeBron in AD, then everybody will learn how to share and I think that if they if those guys came together and say they lost in a Western Conference finals because they didn't have enough around them. Those guys would be able to accept that. But if they if they all sacrifice and it doesn't work and everybody's bickering with each other, then that whole thing is going to end up exploding because everybody would get selfish. And if are Anthony Davis might have the ability to walk out the door at the end of the year. So my guess, Fred is that they'll have everybody will sort of. Shelve, their egos, considering there are big time, players know those three guys are big timers correct hurt. My second book question what you're talking about sports, he FOX, I think it's pivotal for more office during the era, to won't get so one, and all I understand brogden, but possibly, we'll get another second tier superstar like Beverly. You know, I think the bucks are on their way and Fred, thank you. I say, keep it together, if they keep it together. They've got enough and Jaanus is getting better and better and better. If you look at Milwaukee. As if Janas is co why it didn't look like Hawaii had a lot of superstars around him. And you could tell me the kala Lowry get superstar money, but I mean, I've done sports radio for twenty two years now. And I don't hear Kyle Lowery's name coming out of the mouth of NBA fans whenever you start to think about the big time players in the league. So from that end, you know, I don't think Colli played with a superstar. I think as long as he's the superstar and the guy, they know they can count on which I think Yanna started to develop into that this playoff run, then just keep it together. Let the star continue to grow. Let those other guys continue to eat get better because it seems like they've got something really good going on in Milwaukee. And that ownership group. I hope doesn't look at it and say, well, we really don't wanna pay over the tax. This is their chance for them to really cement themselves as. One of the two best teams in the Eastern Conference. And I hear what you're saying in do they need to bring in another stud. I think you sign. The guys back. Hi, tone. What's up? Hey, thanks for taking my call for sure. You ask the question. If, if I was a fan and I wanted to pick a chance, Kevin Durant come into my team and my answer to that is absolutely. I would love Kevin to come from Miami. He even don't sit out for whole nother year in the reason this, the Miami is not making the playoffs next year. And if they do they're going to be the best. So nobody nobody better to Dan. Kevin Durant to come to this team and sit out a one. Yeah, I would love it. Also, these only two differences between the blonde James and why Leonard and that is why Leonard as younger and, and he's quieter not day. The same players. Big strong facet as LeBron James, and he's also beaten LeBron and became the MVP also and leave it at this. I'm doing delivery delivery with Uber right now. So I'm not money behind. I'll leave you with this. If Steph curry, I love stuff. I think he's an excellent one, the best reporters of all time, but if he wanted to make his name as one of the greatest of all time he needed to win that series and carry that team. And you couldn't do it. Thanks for taking my call. That's interesting. Thank you. Brother tend to Tony go. Get those go get that food delivered their.
