"The grammys the other night. And it had a very sad overtone tone but part of I would highlight was the Demi Levato performance where she sang her song that she wrote just before her overdose last last summer you kind of have caught some heat to in the public eye for it assuming that she was using again and it wound up to be unfortunately true. I was just wondering what your thoughts were on that if you felt. I don't wanna say vindicated in any way but you kinda got lambasted in the pressure that you wound up to be right. Dr Just wanted to know you but thanks led to show by. I was listening the whole point of the song is. I'm crying for help and no someone's listening I was. I saw all the red flags and I set it on the podcast and Booker's like you're an idiot. She has to go out and live her life and have fun Pierre Round this learn to deal with it in Blah Blah Blah Blah and then like shortly thereafter. She has an overdose so I don't feel vindicated. There's nothing I wanna be vindicated. Fraum Tom but I was listening through me under the bus though. I don't know why I did.
Health & Fitness Fact Of The Day: Foam Rolling
"In the future so check it out and shape scale dot com. We're also on the Amazon Echo as as well so simply say Alexa play. Health and fitness fights the day by twenty minute fitness to listen to all of our shorts episodes. But now let's get into the show so the firm roller as you probably never has been used by athletes for many years to address muscle pain and work. How notes and in this episode Cats what the firm lawyers really doing full you is is also known as self FASCIA release and it can be done with a foam roller across ball or a sooner dense. Object so I share is possibly the most connective tip of all of our connective tissues and it can be found everywhere on a body between the skin and the muscles surrounding Marshall. Each bundle of five is written that muscle and in fact fashion may be just as important release the muscle itself because it can transmit mechanical stress from one area to another jam-packed sensory nerve endings so it could play role in muscle tissue regeneration to trauma to the Fisher can come from intense and this can cause adhesions in or not in and around the FASCIA and there are two theories really outlined. Why a foam roller could help us with these signs of trauma so the first is almost self explanatory but the first this is that we can need out the notes with a roller to increase range of motion and decrease the pain by applying holding pressure? There is points in the body. Notice these trigger points Meyer. Fazul release relaxes tense muscles and the useful foam. Roller helps to effectively. You roll out the Ted's Mossel encouraging auction flair and improving overall all circulation. The second theories that firm rolling excellent. Neuromuscular System unfashionable by triggering. A relaxation reflex to this decreases pain sensations sensations the brain effectively reducing. Soreness and stiffness so two different theories really bad Explain why might help with muscle release intention but regardless earth the really saying that can help reduce stiffness and muscle pain so as I briefly mentioned for a can be used to increase section blood flow to the muscles and it works almost sports massage. The pressure of the roller stimulates blood flow. You're soft tissues increasing oxygen flow to that area so it literally pushes blood out of your muscles and replace it. With new you oxygenated blood carrying like Jim and as you know auctioning Lijun essential for muscle repair and to provide energy to the muscles and increasing energy. The to the Muscles House maximize performance muscles will tie lessen fatigue less easily as they have a constant supply of blood flow to keep them healthy. A study was conducted by the general a strength and conditioning research which looked at ten healthy individuals and they were instructed. Perform a few phone role exercises on probably the lower body and also just thirty minutes. Altero function was tested on the exercise group performance higher than the Control Group. He did not do any of the film rolling exercise. This study showed that even though is on a small study pool. ooh That's a can result in impulsive improvements but blood circulation in a very short period of time. What's more we recently? Looked at. How pre-exercise warmups I feel doing static stretching this can yes increase your range of motion but it can actually reduce your power and strength before you actually go into a workout? However researchers concluded that foam rolling can improve range of motion without the negative impact on your performance and by applying this pressure to specific points? In your body you're able to aid the recovery of muscles as system in returning than normal functions and making sure they are elastic and healthy and ready to perform at moment's notice when it comes to it's all in the better because if you roll too quickly it's easy to pause right over the knots in your muscles. Bt Up healthy muscle unnecessarily to start running running out very slowly and when you come to a sore spot rollovers and slow slow Short lotions from about thirty to sixty seconds I found is particularly helpful for runners runners who will particularly on because they do you know they have a repetitive movements overnight pounding on the ground lots of impacts heavy impact sports and they might start to suffer Fraum aw. It's a you know and hopefully my like. Hopefully my employer review will be really good this year. I'll know in a couple a month. I feel like wish I I feel like now that everyone had the announcements. We should go round and pick one that we we strongly disagree will happen this year of all those news wall to shoot you shoot down. Somebody's prediction. Yeah Yeah I don't taking off I down. Yeah of course he says he is. Of course fifty is going to be Ryden I'm sure it and that will be the one. That's more expensive than optimus prime. 'cause I mean well yeah look at it this way to we already know. MP forty-nine is it's that nemesis prime and that's coming out to. What June June July? Thank yeah so they have plenty of time into like they've rides already in the planning. I'm sure there there's already some level of prototype of it done so yeah I can totally see that being in fifty in an end of the year release. We'll probably know a the week before because that's when winter wonder fest is in Japan and they have to talk talk about that at that point. It's the first big hobby show to the chat. First before we shoot down somebody else dreams Couple things one A SPIDER BOB says doctrines fifty this year. So he's masterpiece fifty fifty year yet. So he's fifty. Wow that was awesome to sean. Had A couple of predictions. I so basically I do two of them one. Don's going to get engaged. Don Jr. I'm not GonNa go that far that'd be awesome. Listen of course for Shawn's his predictions are all don centric. So dodgers typing or chat to car. Hasn't heard me. Perhaps they have. I probably have yeah. I've sent them a memo when he was walking out the door. Hard right not to make this stuff. You'll treated okay If I was GONNA shoot down one it'd be. MP Fifty for dawn. I not that I think that our see isn't gonNA come out but I just don't think are going to be fifty. Yeah that's that's kind of where I am too. Well see the reason I said that is because I thought about writing but then I remembered this is their first masterpiece trapeze combined her. What's to say this is not its own number series separate from masterpiece like the movie? Masterpieces are so. What if this is impede paid CEO one like this is their first combined her? It's his own series. Because they're marketing it specifically as masterpiece trapeze ride and not masterpiece trained BOTs Mitra thinking. It's still ultimately g one characters and the only thing that has gotten separate numbering is non g one or g one related because beeswax still falls under g one even though I think he's still few people out there who want to think it doesn't Yeah Yeah my I would definitely is. Everything's one discovery because it took our leader class movie figures and made it. The movie won and movie to for that Stark Bobi. That's why I was thinking maybe the Bonner's will be its own. Okay I'M GONNA I'M GONNA take a strike out my my third prediction because I can make that one that that was a cheap this going in So my third my third whirlwind in twenty twenty announcement of masterpiece a a masterpiece. Kiss player. I now I WANNA shoot down yours now. Now let's be honest. You know like the the the kiss player figures were good fingers just always reuss. It's just it's assist is just a fiction in context around them. Though I I would like to see the auto trooper done in a a better body style. y'All were on that subject aren't we. Ah is anybody else. Happy that we are getting another generations are see that presumably the kiss players guy was not involved in the dine. Yes yes I'm excited about that. Actually yeah I gotTa agree with Matt Beast. Wars is not Jiwan because how can how can feast wars be g one John G one fluency to and then beast wars. How do you just ignore g two and throw beast under Jiwen and for generations listed in beast wars out mostly mostly tin continuity? engito isn't a carton isn't a theon the an art in continuity g to Kane after jeon so M B Schwartz came after g too. So it's it's technically where would beast wars fall in the time line hall after walking in on the Ortho and a half century future and past audrain past. Yeah I mean yeah I can. I don't consider it g one. It's its own thing. 'cause it's beautiful and wonderful but if you look at how in continuity get get. Is that way. It's so good. Well I don't understand how. incontinent incontinent incontinent and continent is it's just it hurts my head okay well maybe my head General Esley. Yeah I've got. I've got thirty thirty years of Doctor. WHO under my belt? That base fours in g one is not a problem. Trust me you. You can't really talk about G. One continuity when the constructor cons have three separate origin origin stories alone. Yes that's true. One of them involves them creating a person who created them so the mainframe back together to do a special where beast wars megatrend creates construct cons in the distant past. The Running Experience
"My Name's Nate helming. I co-founded the run experience or five years ago out of a lot of injury and frustration. Both for my co-founder myself in a lot of other runners that we saw trying to train out there and always always getting smacked down with injury. SORTA no the the pattern of you know you start to or maybe don't With runners it's very common to get on a good stretch of training like they're making some progress us than they did with some sort of injury than their hurt than they lose fitness and then they have to start over against they. Just go through this treadmill and it's through cycle and in uh both of our experiences. It forced me actually to get into coaching. If forced me to really get into strength training I worked as a physical therapist aid for for While even though I had no intention of being physical therapist but it just it really forced me to take a harder look at my body and I realized that the run community was was was missing a lot of things that we as runners needed to be strong. Be Healthy and I think a lot of run coaches would as brilliant as they are would handle all the run training all the mileage. Did you need to do the there. Was this kind of hidden not so hidden thing that was like well. This plan works perfectly if nothing goes wrong for you and as soon as you get hurt or get knocked off or your mechanics. Just weren't that great in the first place. This plan was never going to work for you so it got me thinking about my own situation. The runners that we see starting now that we work with all the time who are using running his vehicle fitness in their thirties or forties fifties. But not very strong. They're not very flexible anymore. And they're just excited to start. They don't know where we wanted to create plans in programs for them and out. We took the normal spreadsheet based model. Because you know you've talked old school ring coaches they were. They were sending training programs by fax or by handwritten letter. You know so even even a webpage deal but now we're like okay. Most running programs online are really just spreadsheets mileage. And it's like with modern technology. We can do better with if we actually filmed run programs so that you had a coach in your ear talking. Can you demonstrating everything. They wanted to do. Mistakes to avoid how to get stronger which is exactly what we did with run experience us as if we do take it all all the way back to when you first started running what is it not really into running and also obviously a lot thrown experience centers around injury prevention or you get back ebbing the healthiest version of themselves becoming an injury. What is the most common injury you come across the coals of injury so the way way we look at things at the run experience is is a like a kind of a whole body approach towards things which is really expanding? Arnold is aren't understanding changes It certainly certainly started mostly on the injury prevention in the strength training. which is what we continue to specialize in and the most common injury with runners are just low level overuse stuff and I don't even want to focus in on any one specific injury because it gets if we get focusing on the wrong areas? I think for too long. We've treated an Achilles phillies issue. A planner fasciitis issue Shin splint issue or an IT and issue as completely separate things and they certainly have their own little all causes that you want to pay attention to but it always comes back to lack of strength overall especially in the hips. I'm not able to really get. My hamstrings includes firing together there. My hips aren't stable. Forward and backward. They're not stable side to side so that every time I step my hip collapses and then all of a sudden my knee my ankle my foot collapses so for me. It's like look I'm seeing a systemic sign of lack of weakness in range of motion. My run mechanics. Aren't that good. And then I don't know where the small little fires gonNA show show up but it's GonNa show up somewhere on the Yes you said. It's not thinking about things independently because it's a whole system. Failure Dot com cool is what whichever injured nearly a not. That comes down to You'll technique you form and also of trading and just diving straighten to it without giving any sort of thoughts. You how you're going to train. Yeah I mean that that being said the bigger injuries that we do see it probably changes with type of runner with newer runner. Uc Shin splints. A little bit more frequently actually just uploaded a video of it today on our youtube channel going into the INS and outs of that particular one. I think planner fasciitis and kill. Your shoes are also are also big things that we see online and then sometimes for our our more dance. Runners is our intermediate right. It's really bridging up distance for the first time they're going out for the half of the marathon that. It band starts to become problematic. Yeah so I haven't so done. A bits of running in the pasta. Never been up in more rugby. Plaza CEO always felt myself a bit of running but I have done to off marathons now how and a Spartan race enjoy those but never suffered from injury fraum running itself. Yeah always yeah very very happy with that. What is what sort of process? Reveal everything from their youtube video today. But say I was just getting into running. Enough God's shin-splints how the Rhone experience help without mortar jude. To to help people overcome those issues and get back to being all running with techniques. So I I look at an injury with basically a three pronged approach a number one. I need to help educate you and get you on board with understanding of what's going on. Because is the worst thing that happens with. Runners is when they feel powerless and they feel like this injury came quote unquote out of nowhere. They rarely do and that they have no control over it. Because that's just the worst the feeling you know to be the metaphorical kid stuck inside recess. While they're watching all their other friends Ryan the races play outside and you're like man. I'm just on time out. This is the worst so we I want to say. Hey look this happened once new runners we all go through it. We're learning to read our body. This is what these signals mean in. Had you pick these signals up a couple of weeks ago a month ago there are ways that you could change your situation and then all depending where you are now we can get you out of this whole immediately so the first step is getting a little understanding of what it is so I can start to take ownership. Oh yeah man. I wasn't doing that or this is not that strong. Yeah and then we say look. Let's get rid of all areas of irritation and inflammation Because if you were to go to a doctor with your insulin issue the doctor might say hey you should stop running and a lot runners. Well that's not exactly what I wanted here. But it's a very unreasonable thing for a doctor to say. Hey Stop doing the thing that is irritating you or causing problems so in the short term we say hey we do need to remove this point of your tation. Yeah that doesn't let you off the hook in terms of training or anything else it means we just need to shift our approach for a little bit. Yeah so we get into the short term VIC staff the mobility work okay with Shin splints. What's going on with your cats? What's going on with your feet? Do we have any knots in there about your interior and post your spouse muscles appar needlestick these these different muscles that we don't think about as much but they all play important roles in terms of supporting our ankle causing our foot to both plantar doors Affleck's exchange rate stability power when we push off. Let's start to poke around there and give those overworked tired stressed out muscles a little blood flow and get them to to release. Relax a little bit that can be done with them. Roller Lacrosse Ball. Your hands etc Now if we were to just stop there you're going to create a lot of progress for for yourself but if you don't address why they got so titan overworked in the first place you're gonNA end up back where you are just on that injury. Merry go round the sue now right so now we need to start to address the longer term approach to things and this is where we get into strength. Training can say okay. Maybe you're running this area just hasn't caught up with the rest of your body when I see translates swimmers who have incredible or even cyclists. Whoever really incredible cardiovascular engines? They really know how to suffer in push themselves heart superstrong you could get them running and they have the mental willpower to run hard for an hour or a couple of hours. But the tendons fins ligaments in their feet just having adapted yet to the specific rigors impounding of running right so in that situation is okay. We gotta get those smaller muscles. All those little looking cranny muscles just caught up in a little bit stronger. We cannot a little supplement work in an improved there and in the final piece as we start to build things back in is going to be your run technique in starting to think about like okay sometimes shin-splints stats associated with new runners who tend to overstride a little bit because they haven't really learned learned how to drive their hips Ford in open up their strike behind them and their cadence is a little low. So there's just a little bit of excessive pounding on each foot so then we can start. Start to address those things so that all of a sudden this injury becomes a not fun but a really good learning lesson an opportunity to come back as an even stronger definitely. Yeah definitely. It's a better to correct things that could lead to eventual problems as soon as possible buildup. Oviously we need you talk about the narrative that happens with a lot of runners because if this was the narrative that every runner went through they stopped they took full stock and what was going on. They immediately addressed their soft tissue. They started to work on strengthening run form and technique. I be supremely confident that we would cut down running injuries by eighty percent. Get something a lot right like really cut it down. The vast majority of injuries we see is people have hard time differentiating between specific pain and general suffering like a runner. I'm supposed to suck it up. It's hard right like I. Just keep pushing through and then the other side is men if I can either just run an and hope this goes away or do nothing. I'm GONNA always choose. Just run in that becomes an issue. So that's something that we need to address break and g find you mentioned just before about ownership. Do you find that a lot of people do struggled to come to terms with. It's something with that technique with canes or stride length that's obviously obviously not ideal and this is causing the injury but people of Asli struggled to come to terms with it something to do with themselves. That's causing it for example you know. I don't blame people so here. We're all a product of what we've been taught and so much of my early coaches that debt. There's a lot of great running experts now. Who basically it just they? They don't take ownership of the coaching side of injuries. They just say hey rest go see someone. It's not my problem kind of thing. They're not trying to do anything malevolent right. They're just like well. I don't know how to fix this either in. There's this other thing that I like to call his survivorship bias a lot of our experts in the run world old are athletes who have been training for a long time. They've made it through high school through college. They're professional level and the coaches who've been in it for really long time and honestly these guys have some great advice but or a lot of strength injury.

Jake frahm is not only a great football player. Jake jake frahm is an unbelievable elite world class leader. Jake fraum has a moxie about him. They did just come along very off. I've actually told the story. I don't know if i've told it on this podcast but tim tebow told me when he went to georgia spring practice. I think it was spring. It was either. I part of fall camp or spring ball one. When ethan was the starter when jacobson was the starter and frahm was coming. Dan and tibo looked at from and said that's the guy like he looked and it's because he has this yes in tangible aura that is unmistakable so field comes in to his credit got to play got got some reps so you know he can play but the question is can stretch the field. That's what we have to find out. That's what travis is the ohio state buckeyes guys need because in today's college football man you gotta stretch the field look at kelly brian. Kelly bryant won a lot of games at clemson kelly bryant that was revered by his teammates at clemson. All you need to seize the fact that eight of them showed up at his spring game at missouri but he couldn't stretch the field trevor. Lawrence is the best in the country andreas stretching a field in order for clemson to win a national title again. That's what had happened so ryan day kenya quarterback stretch to field. We shall chelsea. I'm curious because ryan days offense clearly works but can justin field pick up that offense and under a year a year and go out there and win big time games now that he's got the weapons around him can jail settled out k j. He'll bill iceman. I mean do they got. They have so much talent on a perimeter and look we talk often today. There's there's so much banter about recruiting recruiting and there should be because it's so so important and there's a select group of schools that always get the a three star in a guys and pushing more towards your four stars five stars and that is obama clemson georgia ohio state l._s._u. Those guys always get them and that's a testament to the unyielding push to get him. It's a testament to winning and it's a testament to player development. Man is a whole other thing in ryan day has a coach and brian heartline that his on the upwards and within his one year are we saw what those receivers did last year and they're just continued to grow in that receiver room. This year is loaded so it's on justin field. Just get the ball to them and let them make us right. Get the ball the playmaker don't make mistakes. Keep the clock moving. Keep the ball going forward down a football field. He's jay dominance who not too shabby either to hand the ball. Not too was just named team..

So I guess we're gonna find out at some point this evening, and it'll be interesting to see with the light turnout and just how long eight I still think it's gonna take a long time to get these votes assembled because these districts are so gerrymandered now they spread out forever. All right. Well, fellas one quick prediction here. So we also have Matthew right now are Lee Brown Stevie rive in bark. Do you think there's any shot that any of these might surprises tonight? Brett. You know, I don't. And here's the thing. You know is going to be interesting to see what happens down east Stevie rival bark told me last week that she thought that the stain rushing may be had the second best edged down there down east beside her. But then I found out today that Dan Bishop has state senators from North Carolina who have endorsed him putting his contingency down east to help support them at the polls and with volunteer. So I don't know what's going to happen down there. And then last, but not least fellows, I wanna mention Gary Dunn who is known to the media for sending weird e mails everyday like saying, I won't date fat women. That's what he said in one. He even sent out a criminal summons that he got from a woman in another. Do we think he'll even get ten votes? What do you think Joe? That's good. Very good. I just thought that this was just a chance for him to just kind of have some fun. You know? Yeah. I think you're right. How serious he was about this. And and if the debate last week he put on a pretty good show for us. And and did got up and laughing at the time to go to say, it was kind of in a hurry. I don't know. Brad. I'm thinking he'll get under fifty votes. What do you think? Yeah. I would think so. But I tell you I should've voted for him. I should have just just just because because diamond actually lived in distant nine, and I'm a registered independent, and I actually should have voted for him. Yeah. That might be only vote. All right, fellas. We will check back with both of you in about fifteen minutes here. And then, of course, through our election covers this evening here on WBZ. Thanks so much. Thanks. All right. We'll talk to you. All right. It is of course, unusual to have any election in may this election is a do over because of all the fraud. That was uncovered in the voting last November. That's when Republican Mark Harris, former Charlotte pastor won the election. He beat democrat, Dan McCreevy by nine hundred votes. But the results of that election last November quickly unraveled, and I have to say look at that map tonight. Thank God for blatant in Union County. That was six months ago. He lection night Mark Harris claiming victory, ironically, he singled out votes from bladen county, which turned out to be his undoing allegations of vote fraud and the district congressional earns out blatant county has been a hotbed for election cheating for years for both Republicans and Democrats Mark Harris paid more than a hundred thousand dollars to a shady character named McRae. Dallas Dallas has a criminal past dating back to the eighties for charges that included perjury and fraum Dallas promised Mark Harris. He could deliver votes how he sent workers to knock on doors in blatant county convincing people to request an absentee ballot and vote for Harris. That is perfectly legal. What's illegal Dallas sent people back to pick up those absentee ballots by life. You fill out an absentee ballot. You have to mail it yourself. You can't give it to a stranger in some cases, absentee. E ballots disappeared and a hearing in February the head of the state board of elections laid out the evidence. Said he.

"I I was hoping for something. More appropriate. But I'll take the wax museum. I think is great going back to the earlier discussion on the ranking. If you accept the premise that yellow talking about that, Clemson, Alabama, and then maybe Georgia like the three heavyweights. And then of course, you had some other good things behind him. I go into the best to the most important position those teams, I think we know what we're going to get from fraum. Okay. I think the upside for Trevor Lawrence's obviously awesome to me the key question. Mark seems to be what is trajectory for two. And how is he gonna play this year is he gonna stay injury-free and he's gonna continue to sin. What do you think? I think that is a great question. And every time you talk about to you worry about the injuries. And I think Steve Sarkissian has to be very careful. I don't I don't I don't think they were careful last year. I think in some ways they were reckless with the way they played. He he not only put himself in danger. He was he stayed in games way too long. And then I think he came back when he was injured he came back for no reason at all. And I'm not blaming that for what happened at the end of the season. I think if you if you do an autopsy of Alabama last year, they were they were they were struggling early on. They got on a roll. And then they they really trailed off. I don't know whether Nick Sabin would ever admit that he had to be concerned about where we're we're the ship was going, but they they they were living on the edge internally. And they got waylaid when it finally came down to the final the last game. We'll politician you have time regarding so keys, and obviously Nick Sabin has confidence anymore. He wouldn't have hired him to the position. But what is your opinion? I mean, I've seen him with the falcons, I know about his earlier, you know, struggled when he was USC and so forth. Well, what do you think about the source keys? I thought it was very questionable decision to hire. Steve sarkissian. I Nick Sabin wanted people that he felt comfortable with. I don't know how you feel comfortable with somebody that that if you gave him a great opportunity, he immediately left and that opportunity did not work out. I think it's to be determined. And I've heard all kinds of scuttle about about his relationship with players, but. I'm just to talk show host. I'm not the head coach. I appreciate you. Thank you. Great to have you on. Appreciate it. Very very much. Joe is in Georgia. Hello, joe. Good afternoon. Hey, paula. No. You're having a good day. I don't even have to have to talk about put ball for hours and hours. I saw up in New York it Shea Stadium. When I was in the army getting ready to go to be at Phnom. We went to the USO and they gave us tickets to the game. And we went down there. And they let us get go down on the track. And I was standing behind the goal post and nameless team. The jets were playing Miami and Miami had that no name defense and name with was backed up on his ten yard line. And all four those no name Landman broke through owning. And I have never seen anybody run as fast backwards with bad. Sneezes? I saw that moment. And when he got back and sit his feet, though, the pass he was lying. And then he threw a fifty yard strike for to stay on one the game..

Why position yourself for the twenty twenty draft? We know why gobbling amo to attack viola we'll be coming out of Alabama. Jake fraum will be coming out of Georgia. See this quarterback class. Herbert state with very unimpressive. I don't know if anybody watched Oregon and Michigan state. Herbert didn't exactly let scoreboard. You got walk. You like him. Jones do quarterback feel like him. And the guy I'm looking forward to watching today. Haskins of Ohio State. Because I think he will be the number one quarterback on the board. If you're a giant fan may be entertaining. The idea of taking any of these guys in the top ten twin Haskins Yuga, he's guy who's got better. And better with each year. Ohio state. He wasn't on any track forty ago, a lot of people in view him as a guy it'd be planning to the next level. He's going to be planning to the next level. Scott a little Ben Roethlisberger and Scott a little Jameis Winston in them. Is a big burly guy can break off. You're not going to be in a patch homes or Baker Mayfield with mobility. What is on? Kidding make enough in the NFL. Can. Decisionmaking leadership all these things they call into question. Number one quarterback. The question is who is the team that's gonna fall over. Is it going to be the giants is going to be Jacksonville's to be Miami? We'll have to wait and see. And if you had to put a wager on right now, you've probably wager a good amount manning. Yes. Eli manning. Once again your quarterback in nineteen. Let's at the Brooklyn John up next on the fan. Johnny. Happy new year. JJ? Thank you, John. I appreciate that. Happy radio. What's going on? You know, this guys are convicted criminals to capture, but they they do go on they capture people saying things sometimes there, they probably wouldn't say in public. They say in private instead the video they put out yesterday. This is not great. It's Lauren from which Project Veritas says as a field organizer for your campaign. I is is Lauren fraum part of your team and second is she telling the truth. Are you a progressive, and are you just acting moderate to get elected Donahue, Lauren is so I can't answer that question. But when they say, she's a field organizer for your campaign. Well, let's take everything they say with a grain of salt, convicted criminals. Really well, joining us now to answer that question is Project, Veritas dot com. CEO and founder of Project Veritas, James O'Keefe, Mr. O'Keefe. How are you, sir? I mean, good. But that's that's outrageous, Sean that that she doesn't know who this person is and that and that you should take with a grain of salt. I I there's a picture of her this Jimmy Sharpe's local radio host in Arizona posted tweeted today Lawrence from standing with with her boss saying that she can't be who she really is. And cinemas responses to attack me, call me a criminal criminal and say that I should take what I say with a grain of salt. I'm reporting she's a field organizer. That's who she is. She's paid to work for Christian sentiment and the Senate candidate is attacking me on the heels of of Senator mccaskill calling me fraud thing that's fraud committee report what these folks are saying. And if it was then you wouldn't do you would be a criminal, and you would be in jail, but you go into states, you know, what the laws are it's one party consent. You get these people on tape, and they don't like what you report because what you've bows, Phil. Edison in Tennessee and his staff and Claire mccaskill and her staff in Missouri, and Heidi Heitkamp and her staff in North Dakota now Kristen cinema who thinks it's okay to join the Taliban in Arizona is the same thing is that they're lying to their constituents. They're running a propaganda campaign, and they're acting like they are purposely misleading the people of their states to make them think they're moderates when they're anything, but and they're all all the people working for their marine on the quote secret, which is don't tell the voters in those crazy voters in the meth capital of the world, meth lab, democracy, Arizona, the state known in a famous way, they're gonna Lindsay Lohan kind of way, don't let them know the truth. If you talked about assault weapons ban her own campaign manager owned this low level person the person who runs her campaign says, quote, we can't be talking about an assault weapons ban that we need this incremental approach for gun control. We have two different staffers volts one of whom cinema is saying that you should take with a grain of salt that I'm the porting that she works for her wins back. It is a fact that she does this tapper she she can't be who she really is. Another staffer snarl is her name Madison star says, quote, cinemas going to stand up and protect Arizona value is whatever the after that means unquote. So they're mocking the idea they're mocking. The I didn't staffers cinema ought to represent the state that she supposed to be the Senator for their mocking idea that she should be be appealing to moderate people and representing the people of Arizona, and they're doing so in this video and cinema has. Responded attacking me and an obvious skating. The fact that these folks worked for her it's pretty pretty extrordinary, Sean, and it's blowing up locally here as I speak. Well, it's bigger. It's blown up locally in Tennessee, Missouri, North Dakota, and now Arezzo, I guess, you know, Jim Sharpe. Who was the head of the program? Didn't know a whole lot about the project. And and but he's followed up on the story and apparently found that she'll wide to him directly, which doesn't surprise me at all that they make any comment about that. You know? It's interesting sharp is tweeting about it is what he said. Of course, even if she does work for her that done, it doesn't mean that cinnamon knows her personally. But and then sharp tweeted the picture of Lauren from this this worker for cinema standing with cinema in this picture. No. I'm looking at where we're gonna tweet out the picture now because you know, we've got a copy of it. I mean, they're standing like they're best friends, but there's a greater issue here. Sean, and that's people are attacking me. And my message here just for fifteen seconds about this. Wrong to record people in their own words Senate election, and these people are saying some extrordinary things they're saying they have to lie. They're saying they have to mislead. They can't be who they are. And and mccaskill who who came out and said that I committed fraud. Let me be clear, okay. Is what we do reporting people say when we're next to them is fraud. "App. Three plays for Florida to strike on their opening possession of the third quarter. The drive covered forty eight yards. One fourteen the time of the drive Philippi. Franks a thirty six yard touchdown pass to Freddie, Swain sixteen toss of the year in the end zone for score for France, the fifth reception Swain, and it's now fourteen thirteen Florida thirteen thirty five to go in the third quarter. Bill rosinsky David oriented Simmons on the crew buckle your seatbelts. This looks to be interesting. Secondhand. To kick off from left to right back deep hardman, and Harry. This is going to go to heart bet at the goal line right to left farside over the number of the ten to the twenty burst of speed across the twenty-five. And it takes it up to about twenty four twenty five yard line. So David nice touchdown toss from bay. We don't see many shots down the field since elite pay Franks a lot of short passing game quick balls outside. They rely a lot on the run game, including sleep a Franks calling his own number. But this is straight dropback first and ten and these are two really good safeties play in the middle of the field. Swayne guy who played outside a year ago as a wide receiver much more comfortable in the slot. Runs a seed and Frank's our they can startled the cow and read the safeties with the accuracy in the velocity of the ball. Big time. Holyfield takes the hand off on. I doubt still keeps the legs going. Boy. He's not the biggest guy. He's five eleven to fifteen but he's squirted through that line looked like he was gonna get maybe three herds instead all the way up to the thirty six that's a gain of eight. It'd be second out to Holyfield had thirty three yards in the first ad now. He's got forty one second in a couple of Georgia moving right to left and trailing for the first time in this game, fourteen thirteen. Jerseys the home too. Great pants, red helmets, white numerals, again, Holyfield running and left. Got the first ball right up the first down right up the gut against this four to defense to the forty three. Get in on the stop I down Georgia, man. I think thirty smart little self. Little self scouting field coming into the game averaging seven and a half yards per carry. But he's only averaging a little bit more than nine carries per game. I was tenth Kerry this afternoon. And as we said early in the game Bill it figured that whole of field after the bye, there'd be a rededication of the run game and get a number more attempts. He gets the call again up the middle confer a hold open not much happening pushes his way Ford over Senator the forty five and we should point out. They lost Andrew Thomas the left tackle in the first half from three different players at the left tackle position have. And it's it's been difficult to camera Baker in there. Look cheaper. And they're playing to snap. We thought as the true freshman news at right guard starting for Ben Cleveland is not available. He felt like he might come over play left tackle. But he stayed at home at the right guard from back to throw on second down wide open field that ball is caught. It's tight end inside the twenty-five and tackle around the twenty one yard line. Donovan Steiner saved the touchdown. But once again a tide. Am this time? It was not a it was Charlie Warner for thirty four yard at they set up fake too quick ball outside right side to wide receiver in snuck word up the field. Where have you been Warner? He's a guy can get down the field and catching frond swift out in the whites ladders. They go with tempo an ice skating on first down CJ, Nick Williams makes the stop from Florida that bull market the sixteen yard line. A gain of four you hear so much about NADA. The tight end for doors and the way he can get down the field. That Warner also tight end that is very comfortable in space swift takes the handoff try. Turn the near corner left size, defines attack on these doubt. At the twelve. Dow was nice play by John Taylor out in space because it looked like he was gonna stiff arm and turned the corner instead tackled after a gain of four absolutely right Bill. That's a heck of a player in the open field because it looked like swift with his power. He's known for speed and his explosiveness. But he's also a very powerful back Taylor to safety get over. Brad, Stuart disciplinary reasons and add is a big time play out on the edge. Can I hear you go big third down to at the twelve four Georgia moving right left from out of the gun. Throw goes for the fate in the left corner of the end zone. Got a touchdown. Jeremiah for the second time today. Same corner them zone near left side and another touchdown for the BULLDOGS. They've regained the lead nineteen fourteen second time who scored a fade in that exact same spot in the ends on the first time it was a fade leading haul into the left corner. This time it's more of a back shoulder timing. And the accuracy is what really made the play when Jake fraum has time and he's comfortable in the pocket usually on early Down's first and second downs. He's very accurate that was a pretty ball Daikin ship to tack on the extra point. It's down the middle and good. So Georgia answers, the Florida score with an impressive drive of their all we got tied up. Ten thirty three to go in the third quarter and Jacksonville Georgia twenty Florida fourteen. You're listening to SEC football on ESPN radio on the ESPN app. Presented by Dr Pepper. Stephen a Smith show. I've always been vehemently opposed to this notion that wide receivers the ultimate.

"This is what the game has always been known to Florida and Georgia our matchup one of three here in the week. Number nine ranked teams go head to head all told on this Saturday seventeen of the nation's top twenty five teams in action the one that we're following right now is Clemson the number two team in Atlanta. They've now gone up thirty eight to nothing on the Florida state Seminoles that is in the opening in the third quarter. Clemson did not score in the first day exploded total yardage right now. Three twelve to seventy four and an upset in the making where northwestern and home against number twenty Wisconsin, the Wildcats leading this one twenty four to their late in quarter, number three Florida Georgia to longtime rivals in the southeastern conference, and you heard. Fifty mentioned it since nineteen ninety nine. The winner of this game is gone on to win the SEC east thirteen times thirteen times in twenty years each team six in one overall four and one in conference play tied with Kentucky each team is coming off a bye week at Florida and Georgia. So what kind of impact will that have today is ESPN's Jordan Rogers, along with former Georgia BULLDOGS quarterback DJ Shockley? What do you want to see offense time to look at yourself and make some fixes for the first time in the season for Georgia offense third down. Jake fraum is third worst any power five when it comes to quarterback rating third outlet. Thinking for a second. Now, there's blame to go around to protect better. Gotta have plays on third down two things. You gotta know what your answers pressure, and he got to know where your outlets, and those are the things that keep keeps coming up on film from his answers against pressure. And sometimes he's it down your playmakers. Get you out of a bind third down his political Georgia has new better more for Florida. I think they need more explosive plays team that is thirteenth in SCC and explosive plays right now, they're not getting a lotta seventeen right now. In in the SEC only team is Kentucky. Thoughtful manifield twenty plus yard plays is he's explosive plays. I'm talking about half the new a better Georgia keep everything in front of them. They're gonna let Florida Dakin dunk after the some point you gotta you gotta back those guys off. They're gonna play some pressure. Got to back them up defensively, some integrity. Doing your job. Protecting your enough order. They have given a five glaze of forty plus yards this season. Awesome. Writes, they have to a better job of those gaps and making sure. And feel we know George run the football..

"He's one of the more talented in the league in the country. But you just want an SEC game and you completed three passes. And in your previous SEC game against Texas AM on balls thrown past the line of scrimmage, you had thirty six passing yards. You have little to zero passing offense, and that worries me. It's good in a game against a not very good vandy team. When it's tied in the fourth quarter, you can still run the football on a thirteen play drive to win it or whatever it was. But if you get down to score two scores against Missouri early and you're in a situation where you need to throw the football, that's a bad situation for Kentucky. So I'm not saying that Kentucky should be Defcon whatever for, but they need to be on alert. They need to play will early in this game to continue to be able to play football in the way that best suits them, which is running the football. But if you do look forward to that Georgia game, they have to show me against Missouri. They can throw the football because right now I don't believe they can't before they get to the Georgia game. And before Georgia gives to Georgia game Georgia deal with Florida, it's another one that is not breaking news, but it is the game of the weekend. Framing force. I mean, if I look at Georgia and I look at Florida, what stands out to me Georgia is Jake fraum in the quarterback position being up and down. And I said it last time I was on here not much as changed. Jake from is not good on on third down. In fact, he's think there's only two quarterbacks in the power five that are worse than him on third down. That's a problem. And when I break down the film, there's two things. I think he needs to understand where his quick options are. I think he does that at times and other times he doesn't in this offense of lines gotta give them more time. I mean, if you saw against this, you LSU at times was dropping eight, rushing three and still getting pressure on Jake from you cannot win like that. Yes. Part of it is on Frahm needs a play better on third down part of his on this offense line though they need to live up to the hype. They need to live up to the stature, right. They looked apart. They need to start performing as such and Jake from a chance to win. And if he does so where chance to actually complete balls or understand what the defense is doing and he can be pretty good if he does both those areas they knew improve in Florida. Their defense is is is real. I think it is. And I think that could cause problems for Georgia's offensive line, particularly the pressure liked to bring on. Down. So grand scheme of things. There's two things I'm looking for. I wanna see Georgia in Jake from improve on offense, but also wanna see, Justin feels I wanna see him insignificant time. Kirby smart has continued to say that he is not a package quarterback is not just a wildcat quarterback. Great. Then let's see because always seen so far of Justin field is one or two place here and the pull them out outside the Tennessee game. He hasn't got a full drive, isn't had an opportunity to actually play quarterback. And when you're off line is struggling, sometimes you need a quarterback that can make things happen now that he's that much better than from because he's not right now from his better, but is of a skill set that allows him to escape and get away from pressure win. There is for an operative line that struggling. I wanna see, I wanna put this to bed or really open up the conversation. If Justin fields is an option for this team quarterbacks, I think they're going to need them in quickly. Do you think we will see him? I think we'll see him. I think we should see him around that third or fourth drive. I've talked to Kirby smart. When I did a game, they never gained planet, never say, okay, the fifth play or the second drive, they wanna see. How the game flows. But early on this defense is, excuse me, this offense is getting stymied in this operative lines continuing to do what we've seen, which is be porous at times..

"Stay on defense here momentarily because it is something that we haven't talked about a lot the Andre Baker from what I've seen is is forecast to be a potential first round NFL PA. He's an all American preseason All-America here at the university of Georgia. He's going to likely at some point being a one on one scenario with deebo Samuel. You've already mentioned the receivers Bryant inside that are going to be able to create some mismatches perhaps on that side. But speak to this guy linebacker, I keep hearing about Rico dodo who is he what does he do for the Gamecocks? Well, he's another personnel player. He's one that you can motion him in and out of a backfield. You can take jet sweep chicken run choice routes, and you can inside and outside dawn, and he's he's liable to busted, and he's another player that played from young age and has developed so there's some experience under his belt. So there will be some matchups to watch tomorrow. And I think that's why you're gonna have a lot of scouts in the stands. This tape will be watched over and over again throughout the season from NFL scouts be very interesting to watch. We'll get you out of here. Just a couple more again, Connor Shaw. Former university of South Carolina Gamecocks quarterback joining us right now the way for dot com hotline here on the stand fleas sports be played in this game. Georgia South Carolina, four times him under center looks like he was a split one at one we know the home team is five and one in this series. On this one. Is there a sense when you hear about what we'll must champ is settling his ball. Club. Must have been curb your two different situations. Kirby's coming out of the laws of national championship. Georgia's back on the national scene. Everybody knows the Georgia has players g everywhere certainly here in Georgia. But throughout the country, people respect where Georgia is must champ hit some speed bumps at Florida quietly. I keep saying building that program, South Carolina. What must champ who's one and five against Georgia as a coach in SEC? What is must champ settling his crew? That's a good question. And I think there's a lot of reading the salt in the wounds between SEC's foes and then the team in the upstate Clemson. And I think it starts with how recruits goods from two thousand ten two thousand thirteen we got some of the best players have South Carolina and Georgia. Now, you have Georgia as a front runner. He's gonna. Compete for be national championship contenders. As well. I think it's South Carolina has to be a little bit different. And they have to go find players that suit their needs. But as far as what he's trying to rally troops in the locker room. I I think it's just like to say all gas no breaks in Baltimore mentality every single day compete, compete compete and competition will bring the best out of each other and keep everything in house compartmentalize, and we'll take it. We thought week South Carolina wins if if they can stay in front of the change Burt third down and minimize turnovers. And that's on the defensive side. I think that you have to understand that you'll get there some run game. It's how they respond to what they do in the passing game. Jake from goes to get his pick your poison. So I think it's take advantage of the crowd effect. Take it play by play. All right, man. I'm sure the fellas quarterbacks would appreciate that sake. Bentley more. So. "Well, though to the sage, my man Saturday, three thirty eastern the whole world is going to be tuned into see your governors face the Georgia BULLDOGS. Read an incredible season. Take me through your your coaches room right now. When you turn on tape of Georgia with your coaches, what do you see. Well, I think the first you've got to do. I mean, we are watching him seven the screen and to me the first thing you gotta do you gotta get over the fact of like, oh my gosh, I'm watching roquan and I'm watching Baker Mayfield to and like these are some of the most amazing plays. I remember where I was sitting on account watching this game and you gotta get past the fan side of it where you're like. All right. Now I need actually see what formations. You know what tendencies, what blitz is, what coverages, where you actually start to break them down. This is a little different than the others. This is not the typical film that comes across the server over here at at for the old governor's. So you gotta get past the fan port and now you're in the, you know, little bit of the game play mode. Hopefully I've time to get to the summer, you know, you see, great athletes run around the field and and you know that they just keep reloading with it that done a great job recruiting. There will coach. I think that it's very similar to the in what ala Bama does. You got great players and you got really good schemes in complex schemes. You know, different fronts, different blitzes different coverages that that are difficult to prepare for prepare for even if they didn't have great athlete, though yet great athletes to really coating and it's easily, you know about like it's played out in Athens will Healy the head coach at awesome p they're gonna be facing Georgia BULLDOGS coming up Saturday, three thirty over on ESPN. When you look at tape of Jake fraum, what is it that you've talked to your defensive coordinators that that say, hey, this is how we're going to not necessarily key on him, but what really stands out when you look at from tape. I think he makes great decisions. You know, I think he threw something like two hundred sixty seven passes last year and through seven, six, he makes really good decisions with football. I mean, everybody knows what they wanna do. They are physical. They're going to run the football. I, I mean, they're throwing, you know, we broke down something the other day with normal down a distance stuff in there. Throwing it about, you know, eighteen percent in normal down in distance eighty percent of the time they want to run the football, make sure it's manageable down into this Ince's make sure that they control the clock and they're going to be more physical than you are. So the thing that I like about about Jake from is when he does throw it, he seems to always put all in the right spot. He's extremely accurate. He's got really good weapons on the outside. Where when you do put eight guys in the box and you single up on the outside, they can run by any seems to have a knack for the ball on the money.
