Norwich stun Manchester City with thrilling 3-2 win against Premier League champions

"Hutchison joins me as we talk about a busy Saturday in the premier league well as much as Norwich place tonight after that massive result darn against Manchester City for the canaries with a win who would have thought it. I just have to you know oh pay homage to our lovely backdrop tonight on the River Thames. Look at this Hammersmith Bridge doesn't get much better than this. Unless of course he goes to tower bridge. Let's get because it's GonNa look like it's is probably not going to get better than that a win against the champions given the injuries that they've had as well. Did you see this. Did you see this coming because I've I have no mindset you all day long I believe but I tell you what I did. See it coming after about fifteen minutes when they approach the game with lows of arrogance Man City. I think they thought I think pep thought this. She's going to be easy three points. We'll just turn up play football. We'll keep hold of the ball will pay Loza possession based football will just play between the lines and score some goals. We'll go back with three points. It never walk walk that it definitely did not work. That's what I mean. Kudos enormous because what we thought was the fact that wants Man City scored. I want that goal the floodgates it would have opened but for somehow they still weren't able to break down. Why is that do you think they're missing a certain emmerick report as well there that probably would have helped them? Oh I think so I think along with probably one or two of their best player LaPorte la season. It was terrific. an emergent is one of the best center often world football so yes. He's going to be a massive miss. I still thought though because I've covered PEPs teams over the years I remember when he was at Barcelona and how much go rhino planes a holding midfielder played him center off on the same. We'll have you Martinez at Buyin so I actually thought you to play on Dino's center off the former Rhodri so that might be a pet might do down the line but you looked at automatically today and Johnstone's and they looked as was on the never played a game of those two especially were all over the place and just speaking on that LaPorte injury of course we know that is going to be a timely injury that do you think it will end up costing city the title especially given how Liverpool are going. It's a worry because listen mindset. You're all filled full superstar so you can identify any given time who you think might be Miss Kevin Lebron's last season but still won the league and still performed at a high level Aguire Heyzer to play number Games what you take out the poll where I I think he's one of the best center off do brings balance being left foot center off plan on that left side also plant life backing play as a third sent off as well so you take him at the equation on all of a sudden Muncie. It sounds strange to say still look a little bit short defensively well interesting. You say that then because remember this is Matt cities. I lost in the primarily since January incredible run an incredible stat that so given the fact that with everything that you just said and this LaPorte injury is it. Are they going to be to shell shocked. Do you think it to go on a run. That's again yeah. It'd be very interesting to have been a fly on the wall in the dressing room. Afterwards pen going ballistic. His players have just said this is a warning. This is a war and you can't any teams for granted or or the Badeah chewed or a touch of arrogance. It's nice to have a environment because it makes you play one. That makes you be confident but you can't take your position. Especially someone. Knowledge is a dangerous underdog because they've got players like Tim O. Cookie and can't who I think's going to be a superstar player they can hurt you at any given time but no one really soldiers coming. I think best case scenario thought I think people thought would win the game. Maybe nausea my goal to and give them a fright but the paper is going to be very interested in the tomorrow morning just before we move on from this. Let's just touch on March for because like you said this was definitely not a result anybody would have predicted voted for them. You know the manager even saying that beating city would be like climbing Mount Everest without any oxygen but they've done it. Can they build from this because as well a lot of people didn't even pick them to survive this primarily season Norwich Fan please. You'd ask Donyell faulk on never ever to change Shange always because you went to Anfield and I was sick and tired side of the press over the weekend call knowledge naive because they went to onfield outplayed Liverpool for probably thirty thirty five minutes of the game but lost by four goals to one so everyone label them naive Econ Hong Kong have this approach against its helps just proved if you style of play and you stick with duck and you Australian your beliefs you can get results against anyone so I just said Kudos Norwich on and a fantastic sean the on them because I'll give them so much confidence because then expected to get results against Mansi liberals they can do that two teams in and a random they must be safe life this season all right well next on my list that I have here because it's twenty nine thousand nine. We use technologies over phones now Liverpool. That's definitely somewhere that you know very well and hold dear to your heart up against Newcastle your hometown team Newcastle giving Liverpool bit of scare in the beginning but Liverpool as many would have expected expected on some how did what matches the city did not be was not able to do and just came absolutely roaring back shocked to unbelievable strike from jetro volumes uh-huh on his weaker right foot as well and smashed into the stanchion and all of a sudden you think in this is GonNa be a test of Liverpool golf with the European champions. They've gone arrogance about them. Where that that just swatting teams away? It doesn't matter if you poke the more you or your so of small scoring early goal at Anfield especially with the two years does this season last sees anything because of the Champions League I think so I think than being European champions now give them the air confidence arrogance where they believe her Jergen KLOPP speak to the press over the weekend in the UK. Hey saying he believed these players but now the play is believe in themselves which is huge on a mentality front because now that go beyond against Newcastle go beyond against anyone he wanted primitive and all of a sudden you poke menu and you smile at them and all of a sudden that's helped players. Just go through the gays and people like Maan who's an incredible. I mean what's He got twenty three goals in twenty nine unreal all of a sudden looking at superstar player. Everyone was talking about Mosala being the superstar fun Daikin Alison even though he didn't play today that building just such a rich squad where you think they all start contend believable with Muncie could be there yeah. What are you touched on Saudi-omani and of course like you were saying everyone has been talking about most most especially after you know the records he has he the and the record breaking man he has been livable so you think that Saudi-omani is a top man I do because I I look at him and I watch an I an analyzes attitude and he's he's strong durable? He's never injured even when he is ill play with Knox. those managers are priceless. the way he plays lays full of energy is hard as nails. He's he's quick dynamic. He makes things happen with support. FEE can run in beyond without the ball is now getting these goals does. He's getting his assists so when you when you analyze Liverpool you think who would they miss the most probably Saudi-omani all right well. Let's move on now to Chelsea because because what a result up against a team that we know wolves can be a very tough team to beat especially at home but you know. Can we get a hip hip Hooray for the Youth Steve Chelsea something that you know I want to say everyone has sort of pooh-poohed on in recent time saying young manager too many young players. They don't quite have have the experience to really go deep in the Premier League. It's GonNa take them at least another year or two but this is looking like a brilliant squad that really can threaten some of the other teams on Credit Franklin part especially Jody Morris so I know quite well it was working beyond the scenes academy level a few years ago before you went to Dhabi so he knows the young players coming through and there's many Moore's boy call James is not it's not really featured just yet who's going to be or could be a superstar so the way francs been brave. You'll have to say that it would be very easy if you're young manager to go with tried and tested rested experienced players but Franks put to one side he still got a good blend is still got got. The comeback who played a part in today's game were injured. He still contact the comeback but credit emmys playing the young boys. He's playing Mason. Mount is playing some more who got a goal today. He's playing Abraham do get in gold and top joint top-scorer and so you know frank is being a very brave manager tuck going in a in a club like Chelsea wherever it's always WANNA come yesterday. There's never been any for room for manages to try and maneuver in the past so yeah. There's a very very good job Jodi Jodi. Let's think of it on that man that you allege that you mentioned just last having Abraham wow three goals today that we know that hat trick that he's going to want to celebrate but I'm going to call it four goals because he's got yeah. He got the job of making the point. When you score three you might as well go with four escort goal any lean accounting methods it just take the fall the four hundred run put it up on social media later match go but it you know I was I was in in Istanbul covering the supercup and it was it was Jerus- dot dot dot game and it was what was going to be very interesting to see which way Frank Lenzi because they bring different aspects of that game as you root very good on the ball he can hold the ball he's into midfield as dream but tammy now is starting to become and he's not quite there yet but he's nearly the finished article where is hold a place getting better? He's very quick a spinning in beyond but more important getting goals are you surprised with the way in which she's just been improving and seems to be going from strength to strike because it was thought that was flaws in his game wealth will the whole to play our thought jude was better player but he was quicker than Jerusalem is an unwieldy down the line getting these calls which is most important for centerfolds. You know you can have all the build up. Play you like banging in the goals. People will start asks the question when especially when you're young plan your and a Chelsea side as I said I've got no take time to try and grow you go in there straightaway and you're banging in the goals and you're playing well. He's in a good rich painful from a rich vein of form there at Chelsea. Let's move on to Manchester United the the roller coaster. I have to laugh because I know you watch that game closely on paper Win for Manchester United up against Leicester who everyone said we're really and truly favorites going into this one you know ahead of them in the premier my league table but it really was not a performance that I would say you could take confidence from it was a strange game commentary on the game and it was almost aside Lester went into the favorites because of the quality players on paper but it's almost like they tried to kick dumpster united and Monday night responded really well Scott mcdonagh a real shift and it was probably their lead on the day he's only twenty two and he was he was Marshall Not Midfield and he was getting around everywhere. He was leading from the front. He was very aggressive. Although Daniel James had another superb game he was very lively off the left hand side rash was a little bit in and out penalty goal but still doesn't look like it doesn't look like a readymade centerfold or so much like learning these game off the left hand side and all of a sudden being thrown is a centerfold she still learning so think to analyze the game. It was one where normally manages try to analyze the performance and that's what they want. A thought today was a case of Oregon social just wanting the three points. That's what you needed just to give them a little bit of confidence and may be in the games come up with. You've got some really till fixtures. Maybe the three points against Leicester will probably not listed down a peg or two and give the money funds underplays a little bit more confidence. Do you think let's run out steamed. You pick them to run out of steam. I know this is a topic that we spoke about a lot when they ended up winning the primarily because again you know they started off so well and nobody picked it to last. This is another you know season where less to have started very well and we see the troubles with some of the other bigger clubs the Monday night is the Chelsea's having their slip-ups even spurs here and there on Arsenal so do do you pick them to to go deep is everyone has expected. I think so think my two teams I think would be calm unless that to try and get close to the top six. I think wolves are not just because of the loss today today but they've got Europe League football which is always difficult on a small squad. I think it's too much for them. but I was quite surprised at how Lester started the Game Brandon Brendan I think might want to see changes weight changes system. He played a forty three one way in the last two weeks. He's played a four one four one and makes Lester be more on the front foot a little bit defensive today a little bit on the puck for a little bit so of an order of Monday night but I think if let's go that time again and Brendan how again to to play assistant ultra and win the thing you'd have been one or two things

President Trump is acknowledging that a border shutdown would have negative economic impacts on the country to me trading is very important the borders are very important, but security is what is most important that we have to have security ABC news correspondent Karen Travers with us from the White House. Good morning. Karen morning. Just mean the president's backing off on his threat to shut down the border and the one handy says a signaling is backing away not backing off entirely because he says it's still an option. But the president says that Mexico has done more in the last few days to step up their efforts on migrants, he says they've been making more apprehensions. There's no evidence of that certainly Mexican officials. Haven't said they've done that that they've just been doing what they've been doing. But if that's the president's offramp here to get away from this threat. I mean, he said this was gonna happen. This. This week. And you have Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell, you have business leaders and business groups, and even some of the president's own senior team warning him about the potentially devastating consequences for the US economy. He was asked about that yesterday. But did say that the security issues more important for him. All the president is also backtracking today on his plan to get rid of ObamaCare. Well, you know, he isn't he isn't you had Senator Mitch McConnell yesterday say that he made it clear the president that they're not doing healthcare in the Senate. So that seemed to be like, okay. That's it McConnell said that the president can develop a plan that he can take out during the campaign, but the president said yesterday, we're not gonna vote on any plan until after the election. But then at a fundraiser last night, the president certainly signaled that the issue will be front and center for him through the campaign season. He told Republican donors that he thinks this can be a winning issue for his party. He promised again that Republicans would protect people with preexisting conditions. And here's the thing. You can't vote the day after the election. If there's no plan says something would have. Worked on over the next year and a half the senate's not gonna be the one to start that they made that very clear and the White House has never been the origin of legislation in this administration. They've always punted up to Senate Republican leader. So it certainly seems like people are on different pages. Here. House Democrats are poised to approve a subpoena to demand the full release of the entire Robert Muller report is the president still saying he'd be fine without being released sort of he's kind of saying more that he's willing to back whatever the attorney general does just, you know, deferring to William bar on this saying this is up to him the president last night speaking at the national Republican congressional committees says spring dinner took a few jabs vice president Joe Biden. He did he talked about the vice president kind of made a couple of jokes about these allegations. That Biden is now facing inappropriate conduct. "Frank Lenzi is at the editor's desk. Gregg Hersholt, I'm MandA factor. At least one person is dead several or heard and the gunman is on the loose after a shooting on a tram in the Netherlands. The Dutch counterterrorism agency says today's shooting has all the characteristics of a terrorist attack. They've raised the terrorism level two five in that country. That's the highest level. They have police are searching for a thirty seven year old Turkish suspects. President Trump is accusing the media of blaming him for the deadly terror attack in New Zealand. Trump tweeted this morning that the fake news media is working overtime and will quote have to work very hard to prove that one. Fifty people were killed in the mosque shooting attacks last week carried out by a gunman who is reported, white nationalist, some media outlets have criticized Trump for not condemning white nationalism strongly enough investigators now think there are clear similarities between this month's Ethiopian Airlines. Crash and one last fall in Indonesia involving the same type of plane the Boeing seven thirty-seven max. ABC news aviation analyst, Steve gathered says GOP and know that they're parallels between these two crashes speed is of the essence there's no sense in waiting a month. It only endangers the flying public ABC news senior transportation. Correspondent David curly is on our KOMO news line. Good morning. What can you add this morning? Well, here's what we've heard and this is such a huge news in the Seattle area with Boeing, and and these max is built there in Renton. The Ethiopian transport minister is saying that there are clear similarities from the data that they've gotten from the black boxes. Both the flight data recorder and the cockpit voice recorder, but she's not providing any evidence. And she's not said what the similarities are. So we're still kind of in that never never land of knowing what is actually going on here. Now, if the suggestion is that the safety new safety feature in the max is it's called the acronym, which we know is involved in the lion. Aircrash if it was activated somehow in the second crash, how do you fix? That we'll bowling says and Boeing's not commenting on on the transport minister statement Boeing's working on this software. They called an update or enhancement that should come out by the end of this month. That'd be installed in the aircraft which will make it more difficult for that system to be engaged in. What's it dozen gauge it will act differently than it did is certainly in the line aircrash. But if Boeing knows that it's the system they're not saying they continue to work on that update. We're still kind of wondering are they really related? It sounds like a fix is coming for what happened in the first incident. Does it really relate to the second? We don't know and experts including Steve scratching his head. If the opium had this system. Go ahead and get triggered. And there was so much publicity about the lion. Aircrash? Did they follow procedures and disconnect the transition and fly the aircraft manually doing is anyone from the United States involved in supervising this investigation there going over the black boxes or anybody from Boeing involved in this? Yes, it's a very sensitive. Craig? Europeans have never had a crash investigation as big as this. And when a plane crashes that country according to the UN rules runs investigation. So they are been a very delicate negotiations. Yes. Boeing is a party. Yes. The engine maker is a party. Yes. The NTSB is a party. But. Ethiopians are running it. And it's been a very delicate negotiation and dance over the past several days. But NTSB tells me that they are assisting assisting THEO paeans with putting together a transcript of the cockpit voice recorder and analyzing the data from the flight data recorder, you know, a lot of parameters, and you can get all the data out. But you got to figure out what it means. And they're in the process of doing that what Steve Gandhian was speaking about in that in the little bit of sound that you just used was that the transport minister from Ethiopia said clear similarities, and we'll know more in thirty days. And that's what you're saying. And I'm sure Boeing and the airlines are saying, listen, we we need to get to the bottom of this quicker and fix it. This can't happen again. "It's friday. Frank Lenzi is at the editor's desk. With Gregg Hersholt, I'm MandA factor. Friday, prayers turned into sheer terror in New Zealand forty nine people were killed in. What's been called one of the country's darkest days? The police Commissioner there says that the vast majority of the victims were killed at one moss in Christchurch one man has already been charged with murder. Three others are in custody at least forty eight other people were injured in the attacks. Australia's prime minister says the man who fired the shots appears to have been motivated by white supremacy and extremism that he saw in the United States. President Trump is getting a sharp rebuke from the Republican led Senate over his declaration of a national emergency at the southern border a dozen Republicans joined Democrats in passing a resolution to block the president yesterday. The as or fifty nine the Naser forty-one the joint resolution is passed ABC news correspond. Karen Travers joins us once again from the White House. Good morning. Karen, good morning. What has the president or the White House said about this? What does he plan to do about it? He's in a tweet yesterday. One word all caps veto. So not surprisingly fully expected. The president was going to veto this resolution, but he made that pretty clear yesterday with that tweet team could do it today. If he does it's the first veto he's issued as president which is pretty notable, given this is on his top policy priority and to see twelve Republicans vote in favor of this resolution saying he doesn't have the authority to do this saying they're concerned about the precedent and the power of congress being gone around. It sends a very strong message to the administration. There aren't enough votes who overturn a veto what would happen then if he does veto it. So it'll go back to congress. The house is expected sometime maybe in the next two weeks. They're on recess all next week. But perhaps the week after that could take up a vote to try and override the veto. But it doesn't appear that the votes are there in. In the house or the Senate? So that's it. But remember this was already going to be going through the court process. So this doesn't mean that the president then can again right himself, a check for the money that he wants to build the border wall. So this could take a long time to completely resolve absolutely. Maybe even beyond the president's first term one of the characteristics of the Republican says they have controlled the Senate and previously the house is how they would stick together was expressed the twelve Republicans of kind of a brand new defected. Yeah. I mean, this was a big deal. And you know, here's the thing. We knew yesterday that four five Republicans they had said publicly that they were going to vote in favor of this resolution. So once that happens, it's, you know, a little bit easier to be the sixth seventh eighth ninth tenth vote because it's already guaranteed that it's going to move forward. But it was notable. You know, the big question yesterday was could the White House contain the domino effect and keep that number two four or five. They couldn't it was twelve. The president had been putting. After two women recently accused the democrat of sexual assault back in the early part of the two thousands. Fairfax has vehemently denied the claims and called for thirties, including the FBI to investigate today. President Trump will travel to El Paso and push for a border wall during his first campaign style rally of the year, Georgia Republican Representative Tom graves is Trump has a right to have contingency plans in place, if congress doesn't strike a deal to protect the borders, given congress time to do their work, and the speaker just opened the government and negotiations would continue. Effort has been there. ABC news. Correspondent Karen Travers joins us from the White House. Karen, good morning. Good morning. Where do we stand on these talks in the conference committee to reach a budget deal? Well, they're stalled right now. That's what sources are telling us over the weekend that there were conversations taking place through Friday and over the weekend. And they were hoping to announce an agreement today that doesn't seem likely, but you know, we'll see we'll see what happens over the course of the next few hours because these lawmakers are continuing to talk this sets up a potential for the end of that week another shutdown. Maybe it's short, maybe they decide to do a short term Bill just to get past this deadline. The president also could declare a national emergency. There are a variety of choose your own adventure of where this goes over the next five days. I don't think anybody with any confidence can say what they think will happen. There was optimism going into the weekend. We know what happened. Yeah. There was but right now, the sticking points are not just border wall funding or security money. It's the Democrats are now demanding a limit to the number of beds at detention centers. This is a way to try and force the Trump administration to focus on detaining undocumented immigrants that have criminal records. This is what they say. And this would be interior enforcement ice who would be making these arrests. This isn't for people coming over the border, president said, the Democrats are acting irrationally. So we'll see what this the hurdle. They can overcome to get past this sticking point. But it certainly was an interesting development because it wasn't something on the radar in the middle of last week over the weekend. Two more members of the US Senate announced to they are running for president. And the current president had some things to say about them. I think this is a pattern that will see a lot over the next couple of months as the Democrats get officially into the race. And as they start to hit the campaign trail hard. The president was not out and about over the weekend events, he spent the weekend behind closed doors at the White House, but he was clearly paying attention to what the Democrats were doing Elizabeth Warren announced Amy klobuchar. The Senator from Minnesota also announced and the president was criticizing them on Twitter, which I think we know we'll be his preferred method for the next few months. Robert Muller says the case against Roger stone is so voluminous and complex. Prosecutors need more time to get ready for trial ABC's. Aaron Katersky is following this. He's on our KOMO Newsline. Aaron we understand stone is back in court today. She's doing court mainly for a procedural matters. Manda he does not, you know, he's already entered his plea. So he could reassert his innocence his complaints about the way his arrest went down. And so he could also again repeat to us that he's still considering whether to cooperate with the mother investigation voluminous is a pretty strong word do we know anymore about. So what were rubber means by that? Well, I it's really a technical matter to get the case designated as complex and that just simply stops the clock on speedy trial regulations. Otherwise, the government has a finite period of time in which they can bring the case to trial here. They say they need a little more time because there's so much evidence. Emails text messages, all the hard drives Bank records, so voluminous as the special counsel put it that they need more time to be able to sift through it all and then get the case to trial and Rogers don't city agreed to two years. "It's friday. Frank Lenzi is at the editor's desk. With Gregg Hersholt, I'm MandA factor. It all sounds like a playground fight, except it's happening at the highest levels of the US government. House speaker Nancy Pelosi started yesterday waiting for President Trump to respond to her requested he postponed, the state of the union address because of the government shutdown and three hours later. She got a letter from the president. But it wasn't about the state of the union now ABC's Karen Travers is with us from the White House this morning. Good morning. Karen, good morning recap. What happened yesterday between these two? Yeah. This was the president responding sort of today. Pelosi's a letter to him asking to talk about postponing the state of the union the president sent her a letter yesterday saying he was postponing her trip to Afghanistan because it wasn't appropriate during the government shutdown and was not going to allow her to use a military plane to get there. He's code ELS as they're called congressional. Allegations trips that are bipartisan lawmakers go overseas together. And plus he was scheduled to leave to meet with US troops in Afghanistan last night. Then the president said, you know, you could travel commercial if you want that's your prerogative. There is a very swift backlash from actually members of both parties on this. You had Steny Hoyer. The number two Democrats say this petty small and vindictive and even the president's ally. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham who himself is overseas at the moment on one of these types of trips said that this was inappropriate and said one sophomoric response does not deserve another stepping back from all of this the letters the back and forth. The bottom line here is that none of this is moving the ball forward ending the shutdown and the stalemate is still wear. It was on Tuesday has the White House explained the irony of the threat affected. First lady, Melania Trump, then got on a military plane and flew to mar-a-lago for the weekend. Now, they'll say that she is not part of the negotiating team. She's not going to be the one ending the shutdown and this was a trip she would be making with her son for the long holiday weekend. But that was certainly pointing out in Washington that has as this is all playing out. She was on board. Military plane to head down to Florida for the weekend. Potential bombshell. Karen, the story from buzzfeed's reporting that President Trump directed Michael Cohen to lie to congress. Do we expect a response from anyone on the Trump team? The president has not tweeted about this. I don't think the White House will comment on the president's lawyer last night said in a statement that if you believe Michael Cohen, I can get you a great deal on the Brooklyn Bridge. But it's important to note that this BuzzFeed report, which says that the president told Cohen to lie to congress about negotiations with Russia during the campaign to build a Trump Tower in Moscow. This report doesn't just basis on Michael Cohen, they make it very clear and the peace and BuzzFeed that this reporting that that Robert Mueller learned about this directive from the president from interviews with witnesses from the Trump organization, internal company emails and text messages. So far more than just Michael Cohen saying one thing and the Trump team saying, he's a liar. Alright Karen, we wish you a peaceful weekend. Hey. News. "Frank Lenzi is at the editor's desk. With Gregg Hersholt, I'm MandA factor. Stories we're keeping track of this morning. President Trump again is defending his stance on border security is the partial government shutdown continues at the White House this morning. Trump said the congressional Democrats have to do something to end the shutdown one quarter of the government shutdown on December twenty second Trump's demand for money for a down payment on a massive border wall prompted the shutdown. The president again is questioning the Democrats commitment to border security on the president is insisting he has never worked for Russia. Talking with reporters at the White House today. The president says it said disgrace that he's being asked such a question. The New York Times is reporting the FBI opened an investigation into whether Russia was influencing Trump after the president fired FBI director James call me Trump called it a big hoax. Well, here we are on this morning without highway ninety nine through the heart of. Downtown Seattle for the next three weeks. Sound transit's Kimberly reason checked in with our colleagues Ryan Yamamoto and Kelly Koopman link writers know that the plan had look at the planner on sound transit dot org and make sure you understand where you say the chains essentially run every six minutes during our peak hours and every ten during off peak. So am sounder service? Of course, we have several trains that run every day between the Southend all the way from Seattle to Tacoma. And then a few trains that run all the way to Everett and also plan extra time in your commute kit is the first day, we'll see how people adjust their travel patterns or not. And so just please keep checking in with sonar travel tips during the closure Alex knock on what it doesn't get too bad. But give us a rough estimate. How many more writers do you actually expect this morning and for the next three weeks? Well, it's hard for us to estimate because this is a three week close. And when something this major changes in people's travel patterns, then they make major changes. So while we cannot guess our main goal has been to get out dance communication plan ahead an extra time for your can use because it's the trains end up being full because of either Shaw people writing keep yourself time to miss one train, at least you point out. A very important. Fact, we're gonna see an ebb and flow of traffic as people adjust over the next three weeks. Are you leaving the option open of adding extra railcars to accommodate writer, traffic, or what other contingency plans to you? Have. We are rolling out everything we have we roll out primarily three car trains during our peak hours. So people will see a combination of mostly three car trains, a few two car trains, and then we have an extra train. What we call a gap trains standing by to deploy anywhere on the line. And again, that's a conversation. This morning on KOMO four with sound transit's Kimberly reason, the man who was accused of kidnapping Wisconsin teenager, Jamie clause, and murdering her parents is set to appear in court today. Jake Patterson is being charged with two counts of homicide one count of kidnapping Kloss went missing in October on the night, her parents were murdered in their home. And there seems to be an ongoing hostage situation. This morning at a New Jersey, UPS mail sorting facility. Police initially responded to what was described as an active shooter. "News. Frank Lenzi at the editor's desk. With Gregg Hersholt, I'm MandA factor. Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell is again, blaming Democrats for the ongoing partial shutdown of the federal government opening the Senate session. This morning McConnell said quote, many Democrats were for border security, including billions for physical barriers before they were against them McConnell. Call the ongoing shut down a purely partisan political fight and accuses Democrats of being unwilling to the Goshi eight a compromise. Well, a lot of people are concerned that kids are spending too much time online on their phones, and ipads these days, but parents can and should embrace the realities of modern childhoods according to temple university. Professor, doctor Jordan Shapiro, and Dr Schapira is with us right now. Good morning. Good morning. Great to be here. Great. I know we have enough trouble staying off our phones and other devices, how do Paris keep kids off them. Conversation. You know, I think we have enough trouble staying there. Because no parents taught us how to how to really manage that ourselves. And so what I'd really like to see parents do is say, hey, we need to teach our kids the etiquette. So that they know how to make the right decision. But even more so how to live a digital life online. So much of our life is digital at this point. We use Skype. We use Email. We use social media. Nobody really taught how to handle that. Right. Like, how do you do the etiquette of that the digital world is like a giant playgrounds? Right. It's a playground for kids. It's it's absolutely a playground. But no parents walked with playground what they grabbed so but somewhat stops at share or would they hit sort of less? Go low, and it's almost as we said, here's all the rules for crossing the street that go try it by yourself. We don't do that. We hold their hands up walk. The walk our kids across the street, but we're not only their hands on the internet. I have a seven year old at home and the whole iphone ipad thing is already an issue. How do you start and win is too early to start teaching kids? Most doctors say you want you don't really wanna start until about two years or older. But I would save a sooner you do it. And maybe not for the better because you want to build those patterns into into their lives. You want to build those healthy healthy relationships from the beginning. And you want that healthy relationship to be modeled by the adults? Right. We need to show them how to do that. So the best thing I would say is is baby. Don't use it with little kids. Iphone as a of a way to distract that babysit with that use it with play with that. But we look at all the research is almost all the interactions that kids have with their parents around screens are either restrictive or these that goes about what the screen type will not pay. Here's how you should think about what you're seeing this great. Here's how you should make sense of this game. Here's how you should integrate it in your life as as both a digital and real life. Well, it's definitely a timely topic. And Dr Shapiro's read the book about this. Call the new childhood.

"Time one forty eight. Today is world stroke day. A local survivor of a stroke says having one doesn't actually ruin your life, or at least it doesn't need to.
