"For ghana's who combined with holiday an alleyoop to seal the bucks four point win so joel i guess the series of started. Now the bucks route. Three two with a chance to win the title on tuesday night in milwaukee. How did this go from a series. That was kind of underwhelming to one. That's really been thrilling. That the bucks have totally turned around. Well i think there's two primary reasons i think my boot and hoses strategic decision to put drew holiday on chris. Paul which seems obvious. And retrospect right like this really good dominant defensive player. Maybe we should put him on the guy that initiates the other teams entire offense and the sons is steady. Lost a depth four. Dario sarge toys. Acl in game. One Tori correct about eleven minutes a game now but he's still recovering from a knee. Contusion in game two we had a whole segment a couple of weeks ago talking about all the injuries in the nba and a lot of star focused. Right like oh. Anthony davis got hurt. Quiet leonard got hurt. Kyrie irving got hurt but we just because we don't know who the players are when they get hurt. It doesn't mean it doesn't matter and so the sons of basically down to playing six players like the entree eight and played forty five minutes in game five. That's a lot for center. You don't you. Hardly see centers play that many minutes anymore. Devon booker played forty two. So i mean are you saying it's frank kaminsky time or are you telling biscuits kaminsky time frank..

"So you know, seeing him actually be able to find a role and be a contributor on a team that's in the finals. Like every single guy on that son's team knows who they are. J. Crowder. All them knows what their role is. Doesn't do too much you know does with and I think a lot of that is on Monte for kind of Getting them to buy in on that and having him prepared for it. Do you defend Frank Kaminsky not being willing to shove Patrick Beverley the other night. I I think everybody just kind of realizes that happened. Family is just going to do what he does. And I don't think anybody I mean, I'm not really worried about like they got it, You know? They? The Clippers had lost that game by that point, So Patrick Beverley kind of taking it out on Chris Paul and getting a jacket. I think I think that situation just kind of was what it was. You don't think that now, because I think that this is kind of the story of this postseason with the injuries like I thought you were gonna say maybe Nick McMillen. I really did. They've been awesome, and I mean, I think they made Like you can't vote for some. You can't give a first place vote for Coach of the year to somebody who took over bitch midseason, But if I had a ballot, I would have probably put him third as just an acknowledgement of the turnaround that they had, But yeah, he's been awesome, too. Think that's become the story of these. Not just if I wanted to look for positivity. There's a lot of negative things that we can try to bring up. But let's look at the positive side of this like you mentioned Monty Williams. Fantastic. Nate McMillan taking over halfway through fantastic it. Mike Budenholzer, who was a punchline for a lot of fans out there for a long time. There on the precipice right now we have seen Ty Lue even give credit words do even a losing effort. We've seen some really nice coaching performances. Is this kind of highlighting just how good the coaching jobs have been throughout this postseason with these injuries. There are a lot of good coaches in the NBA. I'll tell you that, and there's a lot of people who should you know who gives deserve opportunities to be head coaches that haven't gotten them yet. The talent pool there indeed. Yeah, there is. It's almost like, Yeah, Ken. They're good coaches, their NBA coaches. That's what that's why they're there because we always want to go. Well. We want to give the credit. We want to give the credit of the stars. But, yeah, the coaches are there. That's what they're there for, and we're seeing it. Sean find this guy on Twitter at hike and Sean, we thank you very much for the for the time, buddy. All the best. Thanks for having me on him. Sean. Hike in bleacher Report. NBA writer again following on Twitter at at hiking on Twitter. Like the job Monty Williams has done. Obviously. What we just talked about with Nate McMillan. This has put a nice flashlight spotlight on the coaching jobs in the NBA. It's easy enough to say, Well, you have quiet. It's easy enough to say Well, you got Yana. She should be able to do some of these things. Going out and getting out a win. It's going to come to excess and those When it comes to those players. It's a 1% thing. Trae Young might be on the precipice of being on the one on the 1%. If you have him and you move forward, there's differences there. But if you have guys who are not in the 1%, and you're able to excessive nose your way to titles, you're able to excellent. Maybe excess knows your way to the next round. That's an impressive job. These are short term lives. I get it. It's short term with Thai lose short term with everybody get all that It's the NBA. But I do think there are little moments here where it shows. Hey, just how good a job this is. How good it is and what they're doing. Monty Williams has done a terrific job. What David Mylan has done. I like Lloyd Pierce a ton Big fan of Lloyd Pierce was sad to see him go..

"Difference here in the sound quality and how I sound but any event west NBA trade deadline. Wada dominoes falling last night. The NBA is hard enough league as it is. But the trade deadline really does make it much more difficult. Yeah. You really gotta be I think picky in in your spot. Yeah. Especially I mean in the NBA in general, and I find that I'm having to do that a little bit more 'cause you know for the NBA season. I basically been trade money, you know, with a couple of days, and then lose it back then win, and then lose, and you know, like last night, you know, just happen to be a good spot. The result notwithstanding with with the Pacers who had been really struggling. And then they got to wins on the road. Owed before coming home. And then they get the Lakers in town. And you know, one of these teams, especially some of the smaller middle market teams. When you get a team like the waco's, you're gonna have people in your crowd that are going to be wearing Laker Jere, you know, and that's probably like that for a lot of them the middle market teams. And I think that kind of motivates the team, and I mean, you know, I was just listening yesterday. Just kind of on my commute in the works and everything every national show is talking about this potential Laker straight brands any Davis. And I mean, if they like the Lakers topic. Hey, I mean, we're just a couple of days removed from the Super Bowl and everybody was talking about the Lakers. And I think that's gonna motivate a team like the Pacers. Susan you've solved the results, and you saw that kind of that thinking bear fruit last night. And there's just so much drama around around some around some of these teams, and they're all leave. Around the Lakers when you have LeBron James involved, then you know, all the sudden who was really quiet, lavar ball pops up and says, oh, I don't want my son to go to New Orleans, and you know, and it's just I mean, it's gotta be I mean with all the media focus on that team. You know, there's always a little bit of a soap opera too. But it's gotta be you know, as great as LeBron is and as much as he has never had a sniff of trouble off the court and all the great Eiji say about your Bron, James. You can also say something else. That's true that he's kind of a pain in the ass to deal with sometimes. And and in fact, a lot of the time because I mean, he's obviously had a saying some in some of the personnel. That's been brought into this team. Then you know, kind of everywhere he's wins. You know, you know, he does. Well, when he's there and he's been both the markets. He's been in Cleveland in my. Emmys won a championship. But when he leaves and party, you know, the team has been the organizations in total disarray. And I mean, you're seeing a little bit of that with the Lakers, and you're seeing some of these teams that are trying to position themselves, and it's so interesting with the NBA, and we've talked about this several times to revisit a topic. And then it really is a soap opera. I mean, we're already talking about were in the corruption the season, we're we're not even really so the all star break, and we're already talking about where Domino's are going to be next year. Whether it's higher ear rain, whether it's Anthony Davis or or other various star players, and it's just a for league we talked about a little bit. How the warriors kind of change the way the game is played. And it's kind of a copycat league in that regard..

The heat you curse Kentucky even curse the fuck. And soccer team curse Liverpool. And then the warriors the rafters fucked. Bama always on is always on the bandwagon rides the favorites. Yeah. And when the favorites lose he doesn't look good. It's gotta be a real curse at this point. Like, there's those history mishap. I just think by the time by the time he jumps on the bandwagon. "We don't really know much about his personality, and you're gonna figure out about a lot over the next couple years. Dick, like just unreal. All this like happiness is like man, I'm the fucking man. I don't know from what I've seen seems like a pretty religious gamed and apparently rent the trans like nine months ago with like a girlfriend, I guess he's had for a little bit. So I would hope he's not a dick. But dude, he went to prom with his girlfriend broke rake. I Greg character. I mean, say it's chest changes people, obviously different ways. But I don't know. All right. All right. Place so much stock into I was thinking about this during the bears game. Actually like, I am. I'm raving inbreeding people that are, you know, at least I mean, most of them are at least three to four years younger than me. It's just a very weird concept for me. Like like all these guys like trimmers eighteen years old. Trevor Lawrence is six years on revenue. Yeah. I'm gambling heavily against him. How weird is that? He's like grown motherfucking man. Like that guys freaking even. What does this look like someone like that? Like damn won the world is going on with those genetics like truly like walk with this guy was. Literally speechis them completely different species organ Dorgan attested as and I'm going to gloat again till I make a lot of calls, obviously. And I I always tell people like when I'm right when I'm wrong. I don't know. You'll I tell people when I write I never let them know when among right, we'd call you. So this season and you come up with Hughes of why? While there. In happen. The way I was still right because he's thought. Say more accurate representation of banks roaches a losing better than better. So I was wrong. I really want. I was watching. Syracuse is first game this year. And I have a little group chat with door and another buddy of ours. And I said in that group chat. Trevor Lawrence is going to be the number one pick in the NFL draft whenever he decides. And he is like the best football prospect. I think I've ever seen in luck. Santangelo for sure. We we. Back left. Yeah. It's just manny's coaching. Caroline. I am in shock and awe of I don't know. I I understand Zion Williamson hype and everything and that kids on everything I think Trevor warrants is the best professional prospect of their respective sport right now in college. I'm telling you if you're in obviously NFL scout here. But if if you're team is not going to be in contention for a couple of years flunking tank load up on first round picks and make sure you get turned warrants. Granted. It's recency buyers for Beckett is gonna be he's gonna win a lack inspires the living shit out of Alabama as a freshman. I our eighteen years old eighteen or nineteen years old historical bias like he's the greatest quarterback of ever seen in my life in college. I thought it was going to be that guy. That's quite liver compared to look like nothing compared to what he really did. He looked like who cares. Letting truly an I thought going into the game. Oh to try. It was the complete opposite. And then afterwards just like look at him. Just actually look at the person himself. It's like wold white only in leave athletes, and you seem to be cool under pressure. Like, this guy is the unbelievable Baylor created right after kickoff. I would love to see Trevor Lawrence I'll play too. But it's just too much to ask a true freshman on this stage against this defense. Got why is he wrong? Why is he was wrong? I don't the cat always wrong rear off of being wrong. Shelvin can never miss it. Just true. I admitted it I said the bears are gonna win. I almost two I was wrong like skiffle number members. Maybe it's on audiotape. You have shown up to else year and complete non. There's. I've got two more things to touch on from this that her I mean, obviously not directly related to the game. But can anywhere. Swing to me. "But I wish they would we're gonna we're gonna hammer Tigers right now because they're on. I don't know they lose a lot of people on defense that could be the only thing, but. That's all I'm saying and their defense their defenses dominated the game tonight. Like, I'm sure they have you know, people that are going to come up the pipes. That's like Alabama. It's up. -solutely resonated hambur though. I I sorry. Adding the point where I'm saying, I think the culture the difference between like Clemson and Alabama going forward is going to heavily favor Poncet 'cause like if you can win the national championship have fun doing it forgot like actually like wants to be around you. And actually, hey, like get to know you would have gone. It's like a family the sphere. So much is yourself agree. I'd rather I'd rather be in the family is in the military sphere. Plus Janet under. I there's there have been in Vaughan atmospheres. I've been in not so fun atmospheres. Take the fun atmosphere a hundred times out of one hundred here's making guys on atmosphere as long as you winning. Yeah. Yeah. We'll both of those schools are winning Dylan. They're going to be in the top four every single season. Not that much. Can you guys name me a game in which like you go into the game thinking one thing I wanna game thinking, okay, Clemson is, you know, they're underdog by five points, but Jane cred easily album by fourteen the whole game, you know, and where you walk out of the game where you're actually -tations going in. We're so completely wrong. The Seahawks beating the piss out of the Broncos. That's another one exactly where you're frame your frame of reference is completely off. And then you realize why it was off. You know, I can't realize what is was the only one I can give you pretty much recently bias is that dolphins Pat skit for the dolphins one. I that's not all that's not what he's asking doors. Same kind of Manitou of the game foot, you there is no issue against what's the complete opposite here. For me. It'd be like the oath seven patriots against the giants where like you go into the game being like Brady can't lose. They're gonna go undefeated the greatest team ever, and then the fatal flaw happens. And then you realize like Ben one they were not perfect at one portion of the game their offense of line. And that's the reason why they lost. It's like I wouldn't say as ship is what we watch tonight. I think it's a shoot. I really do. I think it's I think it's like incredibly different than a changes the foundation of college football at least for another year unless you know, Alabama's able to. But together, but they they will so Overmach. And really did it does. Common every single time coming because they have Jesus quarterback. Here's the thing though. It's like they were talking talking during the game like how the defensive coordinators and all the personnel. Alabama changes. Like, you're changing the oil your car there for eight months, and then they're gone. And it's like the coaches are Clemson never leave. They all use the even look at the coaches in Alabama their play calling with so bad, so bad. What the fuck was the forty fourth and goal play in the third quarter fucked up my over Damian, Steve, sir teasing back. He really what? Revamp. Of course. He was there for God, Jim games like. He was a coach of Alabama one game. All right, guys. Let me ask you this. Let me ask you a real designed quick question. Bags in Lawrence. I'm the first I don't have good here. This has been pretty well. Well, stated on the podcast, but is it so to say trimmer hair, Trevor Lawrence may have that was all she some of the best of all time slowing breeze. Drew Brees father. "Was this way that statement came up like the way the Dabo Sweeney and clams has come just like all done now there and urges? No, Alabama's always had that big time history of learning. The creation of of dynasty. You're talking. Like Nebraska corn Hosters in the nine ninety Alabama obvious last ten dates that Gade like this is the key Dabo Sweeney is legitimate, turn them into the team of the two thousand ten he probably recruited people and sells them on that too. It's like you want to be the team that beats Alabama or do you just wanna go? Join alabama. Yeah. Two point is crazy. You know, what Donald is the entire game tonight? They dominated the entire day daughter game off with a pick six that was plus four thousand I should have put ten bucks. Dude. I bet I bet quite heavily on Bama throughout the air. They didn't great. And I watched that D line play. They've got some dudes up there Clinton's all line tonight. I don't know if they gave a sack. Clemson's defensive line is like an all time. Great college football defensive line in their best their best defensive lineman didn't even one of their best defensive lineman. Didn't even play. Dot net. Ross dude at freshman receiver is going to be something slash Trevor Lawrence is is like the best college quarterback. I've ever seen walking and paid man. Do he will paint? Manny. He really does. He looks way more mobile than Peyton Manning ever was like Jesus Christ sell my God. I'm talking about like, he's a child prodigy like this. Apparently, they want to offer him a scholarship is in ninth grade. It's just like this guy is and it was weird. Like afterwards. Just seems so calm. He wasn't overwhelmed by anything like, yes. We wanted to didn't even like smile when they won just like, oh, shucks. We as she wanted I plan later. on when he these babies thirty cents said four, no he said four he stand for four years confirmed. Frank, Frankie, I said how many more these you wanna win furry didn't say four. He said I'm gonna win three. What I mean is. I'm saying he said, hopefully, I can win three more. So yes, so four total. So that would mean he would stay all the way through which he ain't never came out of his mouth. But he but commonalities three plus warning. But a hundred games. No one thousand games how many games does you have? I football win again zero literally. My fourteen point lead for clemson's start the game. All right, five not a for for you of I five. If you can give our did you give them a fifty point seriously if they're up fourteen zero they might not rush guy. Literally put everybody else on defense, dude. Thirty Illinois starts the game thirty five zero. I'm still wins. The tonight for sure. I am not joking. It's crazy. I really think it's goodness. Sort game. Didn't here's the thing? When you think about it afterwards. Like, wow is Clemson doing this holiday figuring this out. It's it's Dabo Sweeney. Just Chris like a fun culture that people. It's like you can you can go to Alabama you go to the pros. And meta what would you rather have fun with Dabo Sweeney or both? We wanna be in the military. Exactly, I'm telling you. That's how that's gotta be recruiting pitch is, hey, you can go to Alabama, and you can do this. Or you could come here. Be the team that beats Alabama and Heff on all doing it. Exactly. Literally. Touchdown. There was a touch on a long touchdown that that Lawrence through. I don't think it was a Ross. I'm not sure it was. But they showed it Dan was Luli running down the sideline like arms, dealing stolen crazy for and that and that is the difference. It's such a difference. Insist very he was watching the game. So they just did. I just I'm looking at this. Absolutely. I'm looking at this. So the odds to win the national title for next season. The game started off at Alabama plus one fifty and Clemson plus three fifty to win it next year by the start of the third quarter. It was Clemson plus one eighty and Alabama plus two fifty the odds almost completely flipped by the start of the third quarter future setting right now on my book dot AG, that sponsor us..

"If you luck I'm loving. I hate him. I hate it. Good. They're all line is your all wingels. You hate their quarterback. I the. I want to refer to this though. I did give up my like, my my prediction meter forever. As results because I said, the bears would beat the eagles and as mortal lock moral Ossets. It was a mortal. Lock you moron. Never guessed a game of GATT. I said that my prognostication days are over because. But as as a second attempt at this the colts will beat the chiefs the culture really Dame good right now, they are daily one ten day. One ten of their last eleven games. A they had legit pieces on every part of the field. Blue single part of a few and the tubes. Chiefs quarterback locked here toward back right now. Is the colts have ton of cap space and young players and draft picks and lady on bells going there. That'd be. It makes it makes too much sense. I say that when I watched the colts play leaving on bell would make a lot of sense there. He's also like some shit on the colts Instagram over he would make sense in most and a lot of places. I don't know of. I don't know if he makes sense in Pittsburgh. They'll need them in Green Bay. They got enter Jones. He's a monster. Yeah. Yeah. He still being upgrade Aaron Jones. But Aaron Jones costs a lot less though. Exactly true. I don't know is it's I don't know that that would just prediction can we get to the national championship? Boy akers. We haven't seen Aslam in like this and awesome. I Watson mountain are while talking. It looked just like that. I don't want to be going. Ramin saying that is one more historic games in college football history. Yes. I mean, it is not gonna be very remembered. You would be going on a limb is what I'm saying in history. You think you think I'm going on a limb and saying that Clemson beaten the living shit out of Alabama in the national championship is not a historic game. Now, I think historic always has like an electric ending. No, I talking about like actual ingredient air not saying that what I'm saying. Is that Alabama. Obviously ran a dominance has now been put into question as a result of as result of this question as a result exciting day. Bama to win next year. Here's something I got something. I got something for you. So everyone talks about Alabama being unbeatable every year. What's the last year? They didn't lose a game. Never know they've gone on defeated Doan. They didn't lose a game money lost. Maybe name. No. They lost the game that year when a being. I believe they lost to Auburn that year. So kicks next. Yeah. Believe that was that your taxes. Is that two dozen nine where Mario Chalmers hit that three to that was in two thousand nine was the last time Alabama went undefeated. Really? Yeah. And they say they're unbeatable every single season since pretty much the point that you can beat them in the regular season. Here's the thing though. While while many teams have beaten Alabama like no one's ever better than Alabama. You just you may win by a pointer, Clemson was better than Alabama. That's my point that that is if that Clemson was better than Alabama two years ago, while Noli wards, no they were not the final score that game was outlets Crumlin beat Alabama. But they were not better than them. They played a fucking unbelievable game. But they weren't the better team. This is the first time I had to say that's as the only different Stanton. Blair had a couple of good players were able to Trevor warranties. What my baby Jesus. Wow there. His painter. This is the first time you can definitively say that a team that only beat Alabama for beat them out. Oh house. They did. A did it in the first year the playoffs? And it's the first time I've seen since then. And Clemson has made it a four playoffs in a row. Like, I think it's a chain of Alabama didn't win or didn't score for forty four straight minutes. Yeah. That's insane. Like, this was the worst loss issues the worst loss Savin head since believe oath for when he was coaching LSU. There's what they're saying. The might his biggest loss in Alabama was fourteen points before this game. Yeah. Yeah..

"And everyone's like to and I refuse to speak to anyone. I literally was like it was like a pure refusal to speak everyone because everyone's like they lost. They lost. There's no way they lost. Because everyone ran out right before the field goal happened. That was literally. So I. Got to watch like literally the whole game in everyone's like laughing and ship. And I'm sitting there like there's no way that just happened. The I will I did sober from a lot of emotional distress. Resolve unlike you, I was actually able to like get it out of my head by talking with other people I didn't have that opportunity because like you literally at happens between was there for him everyone, except for you is pretty much percolating with the N kind of like, you know, like figure a loved one as died. It's like you had to go through upper Moore's same thing and like denial process say, it's it's very comprehend like this morning I woke up, and I'm like, oh, I like that actually happened like he actually hit the upright and miss it. Again, like season's over how woke up and it was over at socks. Would you have liked if you woke up and was a dream? Yeah. I would have played a lot. Yeah. I would've liked the Rams. Because the the team was long on tables Buchan fun to watch this year The engine. end point. So not interrupt your door. It was like I just watch. I don't care whether they win the Super Bowl, and I just wanna get another gate why. And you don't get. So I showed up to work this morning at eight and my bosses, Bradley, but he's one of the bigger fans. I know and most of you in the officer their pens like that AMI or just dead silent. You can hear a pin drop because everyone's on that. She was at the game. Like, you just don't know what to say. And the take comes in who's a Vikings fan just starts talking shit. I swear to God thought he was going to get fired on the spot my boss, just like affected. It affected your entire day. Even at work just working in Chicago. Like, it is it's such a devastating feeling ahead. I didn't feel like that. Until the last time. I remember when Rajai Davis hit that Tyne homerun off Chapman in game seven against the cubs. Like, I literally like felt like my insides drop. It was crush numb it I had to sit through a basketball game. I didn't play. But I sit there been mental anguish. I want to add to comment on like how affected the workday. All right. So like for me dotty, see you weren't going door to door selling stuff and work with people. It's like I use it as like in like did you watch that game last night and? And what I realized what the day kind of gone through the is not a good selling point bringing up some awful and opening like the free estimate on the windows like working out later this week. They just a conversation while and who had a connection to it. You can't really say afterwards because it just suck at one. It's about punch is like you can't even talk about it. Because it does suck so much want. You. Of course, I watched it like when you talk like where single Email cold call. I sent this one. I was like oh, Piazza great recant. Unless of course, you are bears fan. I got so many people that same back. Just like no don't talk about that. Like why? I was just like. Oiled fans at the team sucked ass last year, and they got to enjoy a good team this year. Well, doing I I understand what you're saying. And I it kind of speaks to how you view some things. But like I am with Alex. I just wanted to see them keep playing like I thoroughly enjoyed the season. And I didn't want it to end in the way ended just makes it that much worse. I'm officially invited you guys. I just you guys to join the Alvin Kamara. Enure that. I mean, I'm on the saints, bad wagon. You already know that I think the saints the win the Super Bowl like fate. "Toot almost guys pretty much cruder. Here's so it's like they have another career your next year the gonna regress in progress than that names. That Trubisky needs me better. And if Trubisky is not much better than the team is not gonna be as good that. And more than likely we lose Fangio as the DC opposite. Have I hope that doesn't happen? But God that doesn't happen. I gotta feeling that. He's a stay. I really have bears inside sources here things going to stay. Yeah. Fucking hope so doing so bears inside sources, I can't talk about is that is that official remain. I bet you it's your roommate. I can't I can't say never disability sources going to kill you. On the plan. If the bears do suck for the next two years. Hopefully, they'll have the first overall pick and can get Trevor Lawrence O my God. And that drastic of that guy before before we dive before we dive hold on before we dive into that. Can I give you the whole bears debacle from my perspective from my experience. Let's here. Let's go. I started off watching the game in my hotel room in Phoenix. And I had to hotspot it on my ipad. So I can get a better view to watch it and the assistant coach I work out with before the games and everything is an eagles fan. So I'm watching the game. So I have it on my ipad. I have it in my headphones. I can hear the game. I'm listening to it all the way through it's going through all of our warm. I'm sneaking peeks on my ipad during our pre game meeting, which probably isn't the correct thing to do. But I haven't watched the bears play in the playoffs since Chris Conte, tore my heart out last time and. So we're getting out we do like our little thing. And then we gotta run out for warm ups. Well, the last dry for the bears everyone on our team is already out on the court, and I'm still in the locker room watching it on my ipad. And so me Tony Parker whose dad is from Chicago legs the bears and the rest of our staff is watching the thing on my ipad and parkey goes out there and kicks the first one, and it's good, obviously, ice it. And right when that happens, I turn my head, and I put my eyes, and I just basically went down on one knee. I was like we lost. I knew it in that second. Like the game is over like, I don't know. What it was it? Just like, right. When he kicked the perfect field goal. I had a feeling he wouldn't like his mental juice was used on the first one in couldn't recover from that. And as Alex earlier, and I've never fell. Felt so bad about something in a very long time. Like that actually really legitimately that hurt like him that fuel getting tapped or miss just the way it missed like it gets tip at the line of scrimmage hits the left post hits the crossbar out game over we lose. I mean, and then I gotta go warm up for a game immediately. After that. Because it looked like it might go through still found like wait a good about sports. It's gonna. So we're really on the ground that it didn't go through until the bears nasqad die on his knees. I didn't know I literally was in. Then I gotta run out and go warm up for a game. And I'm out in warm of like, I'm literally out in warm ups like what the fuck just happened in everyone's out there like because nobody knew because everyone knew I was watching the game in the locker room. So they didn't know who won or who lost because not many people that are really and everyone like I walked out. I literally walked out of the tunnel with my hands on my head went to the baseline and just went down in like our toll myself was like all right. Get over this. And now like you gotta get over this. And I'm and I'm in the warm lines. Like, there's no way like thinking about him. I had there's no way that just happened. Yeah..

"Mason Crosby needs to and he's needed for a long time. Injure overall. He does he does by also say this the game too. I know Trubisky has gotten a shit ton of flack this year and some of it's definitely warranted. He's definitely growing pains. I was pretty impressed as a whole for the season. Seeing the kid play like granted shirt when I love to have Trevor arts, obviously. But I think in year two he actually showed some pretty good strides made some fucking great throw some great plays in the game. Here's here's here's the thing that you're Bisky though, is that when you have Jamal Adams like Stratton, take any Excellent. exit. I understand that. Like, obviously, it's retrospect, but it's like there was a lot better options than Trubisky. Like you live with your the Dyane that on a hill for the next couple years. So I guess in that respect he he'll never be able to be the one that truly wins. You a Super Bowl, but you can't win with it. You know, a safety impact the game better than a good quarterback. No. Traffic according without question across across the professional sports round. There's two positions that matter most to team, and I believe those to be your starting quarterback number one. And number two starting pitcher in the OB. Goalie. No, no. Yeah goal. Yeah. Am I gonna surprise you? Can't you can't you can't you can do it with a bag oily? But yes, I would you need Trubisky to the people that directly put points on the board directly take points off the board. Here's the thing. Here's the thing that I believe with Trubisky. It's he doesn't have to be this quarterback. That's going to go out there and swing it. And when you games with his arm. He has to be a quarterback that knows how to control the game and can make the right place at the right times. And it looked like he made steps towards that towards especially this season. Throws. He number one. Athlete like running game K manager. That's like what are you going to be? You know, he has to learn how to control the football game. I think Alex, I think Alex Smith does that. Really? Well, yeah. Maybe he isn't obviously made a big playoff run ever. But he does he's never had the he's never once had the defense that you're Bisky has right now. I think the thing people tend to overlook some times too is it I mean for all incentives. Luciano's John FOX year was waste. It really wasn't a per season. This was his first season in entirely new offense maneuver head coach new supporting personnel. And I'm not trying to make excuses from the guy. But I mean, that's got to be a bit of a learning curve to get over that. And I thought it all right by the season. I think that accuracy is one of those things that's really hard to obtain like once you get to this level like by bunch of degrees. And he's off by a lot like he's hit. He, and that's the part that just scares me about him is that he's never going to be truly accurate. And if you're not truly accurate, you're gonna turn over the ball. And you're gonna have inefficiencies no matter what you do said defend pretty frigging good. Although is just can't have a high clicking offense like the patriots or the saints or to be the bears had a Jacksonville season this year like for next year that would be very depressing. Here's there's nothing that says that that's going to happen. No injuries this year, you know, easily be different next year. That's why like I I heard a lot of people today when I wanted to work there like, oh, it's okay. They're going to be great next year. Like, it's I mean, and I know I brought it up earlier like the foundations. Great. But what happens if MAC Tursas ACL what happens picks goes down for the year or Jackson like I know he didn't play..

"It's a first year in a brand new SIS perfect people were thinking like, oh where like SUV? Oh contenders. The very word. Value, aren't they weren't? I would argue. They were I would argue that they were they knew right now, they weren't what's the difference? What's the difference between the bears in Peyton Manning's Super Bowl? They both had the number one defense in the NFL and pain. Manning's offense was absolutely atrocious that last year. So what's the difference is good enough? They had they had a bye they had a bye and the number one scene the playoffs that may say huge difference. I'm in patriots veil on the road and face them. There. I'll just others argue that bet defense with the Broncos probably better than the difference. The bears had like give up sixteen points lost. Yeah. In for all intents and purposes should've won a game Nemec for the first two. That's part of Dylan's arguments. Like that you know that I mean people at least Peyton Manning. He can't score points the game. But he can get you twenty in the bidders. Barely beat a terrible forty nine hundred seen fourteen the nine right? They beat a Ameobi Viking team twenty five twenty five twenty. They lost of the patriots by seven. They lost the dolphins. They beat the cardinals who football by two. I mean a lot of the season. My point is is that they weren't that. Good. I'm saying when they were winning games. That's that's the object of playing the game win them. What team in a better defense this year Jacksonville or Jacksonville Lascaux bears defense this year Jacksonville last year? I bet you they're pretty damn Similars. The thing is almost identical to your point though, we Jacksonville then when the Super Bowl Asher that even gets it and neither will the bears the sheer at just because you win a game or two in the playoffs. Doesn't mean that you're Super Bowl containing team. This can win four straight games. There's were and it just happened to lose the first there is a possibility that they could have do it. They could have done it. There was definitely a possibility that they could have done it. We okay. So you you're ok okay. Line to yourself. You're you're lying to yourself. If you're saying that they couldn't have done it. They could absolutely could have done it. It's your initiative could've done a percentage they probably had two or three percent. They probably had two or three. Did. I think they had a chance to get to the Super Bowl, absolutely. Now, absolutely absolutely thing past the eagles. I understand that. Here's the thing is the eagles also on the Super Bowl last year. It's not like there's some scrub team. They're the team that figured it out along the way as well. This. I'm telling you the eagles destroyed by the saints. Right. Like, they ordered the strengthening when you say the eagles didn't play that good. It's also result of the bears. Heavy solid defense to keep them. Not playing owning. Jalen, I all agree with your point like that. They you know, they probably I don't know they probably wouldn't want to. Nobody really knows the one thing is. And I know football's very year to year like kind of league because of salary exactly. But at least pause I'm taking away his young team. They don't have a lot of money tied up in in steering. They should have good foundational. It's trending in the right direction. Of course, not yet saying that they that they haven't figured a lot of things out. They certainly have. But I think at a general whole though, like I agree with villain. This thing was never gonna win. Super bowl. I said that a great a great season is going to the NFC championship. They felt game sort of that..

"And I don't like that. It's like, you gotta be you go out somewhere. Oh, this person's here. It's like, oh, why do I give a fuck? It's all about the show show business. But the whole city itself is just about shell. I will say this. I was star struck once though when I came out here, there's only one time where I've been like holy shit. And that's when I went to I went to one okay here. My rookie year was Spencer Hawes and Leonardo DiCaprio is there. And I was like holy shit. That's leo. That's only how many people live in Los Angeles. At how many of them are Capri not many, and how many only people are trying to be that all mill everyone's trying to Leonardo DiCaprio here. But there is still the end of the day. Only one we ordered a cab Rio. What do you have success rate is of people that move out to LA to try to stars? It's gotta be like less than like half her somewhere. There's people that should do it because they have the talent. And there's people that don't have the don't have the talent. And no one and no one's ever told them. You don't have to the dealer. Ever had a friend like that. I would tell them you don't like like not to be like an asshole. But like there's clearly like a level of talent that you need to like make it right? And there's a lot of people that I feel like that's an anything because they can't anything else to do. Well, I think that and work framers saying before it's all about who, you know. It's like, you know, that's what I call the backroom casting couch. You know, it's like all right. All these actresses look the same. They all act the same which ones willing to screw me in order to get the role. And that's what they do. And that's the whole city works like a good works in. It's hold up. It's called the backer casting cups. That's literally like a porno. You know that right? Yeah. But I think it's based off of like the actual terminology. That is news to me as very avid watcher back in never seen a scene with a with a backroom couch. No I've seen. I've just never heard like the term use outside of court. That's that's what it's that's what it's based off of like what you're referring to assuming his based off of what I'm saying where it's like. Betim role. You don't get big time movie role or even start your career, unless you're willing to below some sort of media some sort of movie executive Harvey Weinstein shit was going on 'cause fat slug two goals. And that's that's that's a good percentage city. So so I just thought it was your feelings on LA. I'm in the same. I'm in the same book, and they're all fair weather fans when the teams are shift, they don't care. But when they're when they when they're good. They're awesome. They care again. So they don't get called out on it. Bears fan base on. Yeah. No this for as good as the bears. Had there wasn't that many devastated. Fierce fans that you know, two or three years ago. They didn't care nearly as much. It's like it's like the doctor will seen on awesome powers. It's like if we died I'd be completely inconsolable for like ten minutes. Then get over it probably get another. But for that ten minute period. I would be completely inconsolable. I will say this last night's loss may be the biggest loss most devastating loss in the history of the bears. I called it just it was devastation. Oh, you call everyone called at Frank. That was that's the point ever knew. It was an end that way. You guys know when I say something that happens. I'm going to tell you I called it all you doing. Doing good bowl. And I said they are NFC championship. I said big on a lose. And they. Marquis as. The bears born that good why they're defense was that go look at their schedule. Like, they weren't that. Good. They blew out the Rams, right? Like blew them out. No, not really, no. They didn't their defense was what was winning them games? I understand the difference. Win was against the ram is not a good way. It's not like they have a completely revamped offense as they don't..

"Hello everyone. Welcome to another episode of frozen. Joe's I bring to the are fresh off a very eventful few days of football here national championship game bears game. So we're going to dive into that. How's everybody doing good good lock talk about as you just said? So you sit around watching football year. And then you finally get the end of it should be a lot to talk about otherwise with Alli Washington for so. Yeah, it is. It's a fun time. But it's also scary time because you know, what's, you know? What's about to happen? Also dirty door. I'm not truck for this podcast. So I hope I didn't offend anyone that thankfully that that out of hand. Yes. Thank you. Very sober in your mother's basement. Yeah. Yeah. I I agree. agree. I actually haven't listened to it. If I'm being honest, I'm terrified to listen to what was or came out from last podcasts. I'm just gonna probably go with that for the rest of my life. I think you said a fat girl something about her fat enough to break the ice. Yeah. I'm pretty sure said you win less than a polar bear. If what the people don't realize about the last episode either as we completely cut a section with Michael Keogh, and it was going on for so long about something that was never going to make the pockets that Dylan, and I actually left the room for like a half hour, and you're still talking. There was a chance it was going on. I was just like, okay, let's talk. This went out. I will agree. It was like we're doing a documentary series, except that's not what frozen Joe's are. And we don't you don't necessarily care about the exact details of an event that took place for. So we got a rabbit hole. We did we did. We did. You know what? Hey, you gotta cracks megs make an omelet. So I think ended up just perfectly. Well, this is pretty cool too. Because I'm actually in Los Angeles right now in the hotel, and I have everything set up. I feel like I'm kind of a professional a podcasting. Now, it's pretty weird. Well, it was going through my head when I was setting all this up to women flocking to you right now. Now, I don't I don't got women with all you're just ready to go probably walk in and asked me if I make music that's kind of what it looks like. I mean, this is only our forty percents that we probably should have the I know, but like we when we're in Charlotte Dillon. I just had all this stuff set up ready to go. It's like I've never really traveled it before we did once to Las Vegas summer league. But Dylan brought all the stuff. So. Isn't it? Yeah. I put on my big, boy pants strapped, all the podcasting equipment. And here, I am an LA. Boy, no women don't got any girls here. They all hate me. Every girl in L A. She's do they can smell. My desperation. A don't have girl this to to see that. Can I go to limb here, I really really really do. Not like LA. Oh. All with you. I hate LA's. It's full of a bunch of pretentious, try hards. And it's a journey overpopulated city. I don't I don't like the way I feel I don't like the way I feel when I'm in Los Angeles. I wanted the San Andreas fault, which I believe is the thing that although those scientists say is going to like knock off California from the rest of the US. I've been pulling for that. Thank for years. We just need to get rid of get rid of LA. And I think that's a little bit too far not positive LA. San Andreas with the rock at what happens in the movie three much, the whole thing just goes underwater. So. I with your Frank though, I'm not a big fan of either. I think it might kind of be routed backs or kind of mid western ideologies. But I just think it's a dirty city. I feel like everyone there just tries pretend like they're super-rich kinda like Miami. And this is hurting overpopulated and Hollywood has done. Anyway, people aren't nice here. Either. Like, I feel like so centered LA's place about all all all about who, you know..

"What we need to focus on his my good effort. What I'm doing on the floor. It's not my free throw shooting. It's a little muffled there. But James harden love and himself there. Game. Yeah. So another one here on the cache creek text line four one five says, do you think Durant attitude is a big reason they've been looked? They haven't been looking like themselves. I can't speak to that. I don't know about the attitude thing, I think that's perception, we don't know what's going on inside the locker room right now. I don't think it's all sunshine and rainbows the way it was before the Draymond green spat between he and Katie they looked frustrated last night. They did and part of that comes with when you have a big lead. I think people start looking at each other you start pointing fingers we're just not accustomed to seeing this before. But hey, Steve Kerr said that before this season. This is going to be a different type of run. This is going to be something that we are not used to. They haven't been after this before they haven't been after trying to get three straight championships yet. So all the pressure on the dubs things will have to turn around, and they need to get a little bit more consistency. I mentioned Frank Comiskey earlier six five zero says, hey, speaking of Frank Kaminsky, the the the Hornets have all kinds of centers. Maybe they can go get him. He's a good young player. I'm not sure they're looking to give him up. But you're right. The Hornets with a timber Walker than damn good this year. Asking about Durant's attitude. The nine to five says this is too fresh this hurts too much. Can we talk NFL playoffs? We can because it's the Friday ahead of wild card weekend. And also, the NFL's announcing their their modern era hall of fame nominees, and I know Dave's guy Tom floor as is going to be a finalist. So we'll find out which guys are going into the hall of fame. John Lynch a finalist yet again as well. So talk a little bit of NFL hall of fame. We'll talk some NFL playoffs on the other side.
