"Like all he wants this drink, but I was like, you have to. You don't have to say it. I have to have it. Yes, I have to have it. The worst thing at school is not being like everybody else. Just blending in. They don't really like the individuality. Not his friend upon. It's terrifying to kids. I remember our school eventually, a lot of the things that were were fads on must have. Eventually got bad as well, didn't they? Yes. The life cycle was very short like a May 5 of these things because kids would get whatever it was would get frenzied about it. We had in the 80s that without the big fashion thing was these things called dayglow socks and these were fluoro socks either bright orange or green. Everyone was wearing them in the evening and a weekend, okay? But obviously not allowed at school, but what everyone used to do is you'd have a longer trouser leg and you'd raise. Or when the teacher was looking the other way, you'd face your sock. I go, oh my God, it's rebel without a cause. Yeah? Well, who's just so an old lefty here? That's right. It's dago fluorescent green. Get out those socks around here. Mister tag it will see that. You'll be four O'Connell. You'll be for it. Eventually, eventually there was a special assembly and they were banned no more fluorescent socks. Got banded out, which I guess many schools did marbles because it becomes like a black market of training like a prison system, isn't it? Before they did like about my primary school though, the debt board before they put the ban in, they said, we're going to have a marble day. No classes all day. Where did that happen? I mean, when they banned smacking, they didn't have last day dads and moms. Get out of your system. Up until midnight, close in deadline with me. So go nuts for one last day. All right, so what were the must haves? What were the fads that your school? But Christian O'Connell show podcast. Christmas, my husband and I did a similar thing to what your wife did yesterday with a mom and her auntie. My husband and I filmed like a mini documentary series on my dad before his Parkinson's and dementia took the memories away. What a lovely thing to do. We took him to his three homes that he lived in throughout his life, down the Main Street of the town he grew up looking at the shop France and getting his stories out of him. We also settled him down and filmed him with his two siblings talking about their family as well. He died last August Adam so grateful to have so much footage and audio of him actually keeping his stories high. Wow. That is such a lovely thing to share. Thank you very, very much. All right, this one then we're taking you back to school. And what was the thing that you had to have at school? Christian for me, it was Digimon's. They were the must have my primary school. Do you remember Digimon's? Me and my brother loved Digimon and the ones that first generation Digimon that we had all those years ago now sells on eBay for about a thousand bucks. You kidding me. You can't get them anymore. Wow. Christian, when you used to pair them up and back to when the playground, if you were playing the do or die rolls, the losing Digimon will be taken as a surprise by the winner. I remember that because a lot of moms and dads go around to houses later on they don't go in. We need the digital market. The kids playing for pink slips. Eventually, it got bad. And all ended up with them being banned by the school. We moved on to Pokémon and yu gi oh cards. All right, let's go to soup. Good morning soon. Yep, hi. That's the spirit? Yep. Squeeze in some time for us. A Sue what was the must have thing at your school? Well, there were a myriad of things from Bobby's to pogo sticks, but some for me was 72, derwent pencils. Oh wow, I remember those. Yeah, they were very, they're still pretty pricey. Now aren't they the term? Especially the whole range to 72. Yes, exactly. And it didn't want to sharpen them too much because they just kept on going down and down. Yeah, I remember kids who had dough in pencils would never lend them to you. Even just drawing with it was wasting their wealth that they were sitting on. Precious resource. All right, so thank you very much. Have a good day. Thank you. Bye. Pogo sticks. What schools had a pogo stick? Poker. Still a huge here in the 70s. Were they really? Yeah, my older cousins. Worse than toy ever the pogo stick. Yeah, yeah. You know some of them like they always come back. I don't know, hang on to the value. That thing is never coming back, is it a ghost? Good morning. Good morning. Good morning, corinne. Okay, so what was the must have thing at your school? Pokémon cards. Yes, Pokémon cards, yeah. They were massive, weren't they huge thing? Yeah, huge. I actually still collect them to this day. Yeah. I'm not the old Digimon. They hang on to money. Oh yeah, definitely. You got a charizard? Oh. Yeah, a 100%. I think someone's got a little box under his bed. Not that one Bianca in the one. I was into Pokémon cards, but they were banded our school as well. Yeah. Thank you very much, you're cool. Let's go to Marnie. Hello. Hello, Marnie. Welcome to show happy Monday. What was the must have thing at your school? Must have been was definitely a balloon skirt. And my mom did not have much money at the time. And could not sow, but managed to put one together for me. Really nothing else. Now we don't need to do that. My wife says, well, we don't need to take away. I've got ingredients. And then I'm thinking we must have come into some money because then I was able to get hold of myself a purple Terry telling them to track the yes. Cherry tower. One of the greatest fabrics in the world, right? Well, honey, thank you very much, you cool. But Christian O'Connell show podcast. Christian must have my score was the casio calculator watch. Pokémon cards and beyblades, as far as Sarah McBride, took out what was the must have to get your school. Sarah's our teacher and Pokémon cards and beyblades are back with a vengeance now. As for the teachers, if you don't have a Frank green water bowl, don't even think about sitting down the staff room. Right to the grown ups. How can a water bottle be so special? It's just holding water, many

"Oh, don't I can't. Do you never understand why there is horror clam music in that picture? Because I was playing in the field with the balloon, Brendan and the baby. Strike up a nice tune. Don't you know anything? It's just like the demo mode. The piano's attitude. It's actually horrific passing. But Christian O'Connell show podcast. Christian is not my suburb, but was driving through San shingham yesterday, noticed loads of murals, sandringham, mad about murals. Thank you. Christian I understand Jack's pain and losing his old bomber scarf. I've still got my childhood cat scarf from the mid 70s with the VFL logo to me it's like the Shroud of Turin, two fragile to wear. All right, your 6 word weekend, how would you tell us about your weekend in 6 words? Take some into me, 047-503-1043 Shane. I think speaking probably quite a few of you. Bloody Rod Stewart canceled the concert. RTD. Illness couldn't go. Had a virus. So did Cindy still lauper still play? No. Stevens, what happens to them? Do they? Not off. And as he said he'll do make good or they're hoping to, yeah, they're hoping to still waiting to hear. Because you had tickets in you. Did have tickets, yeah. Yeah. All right. Jackie boy, what? What's your weekend then in 6 words? Bombers on top of the ladder. There's a lot of guy Friday. He was actually going, I don't know whether you should go and see them. Now it's a tough minute out of here. Here we go. Well, I windy hill legends. It was great to be at the MCG with thousands of bombers fans yesterday dominating performance over the hawks crushed them into the ground the old enemy. They saw that camera, everyone. No, no, I think people said that hawks about him, they made S and look good. I think we put on so much pressure. We made him fumbly around the ball. Intimidating, yeah? You know how long you can tell how long it's been since essen has been successful because something I've never seen before as they played that same song at the end of the game. I've noticed now on the screen now put up karaoke style the word you're joking. So when that play. All together now? See the bomber shall wish I cut a mass karaoke with thousands. That's a bit deliverance. No. It's got like a ding ding ding. You would hear it if anyone hears it. I mean, obviously out west. It's a mating call though. Ukulele banjo Phil. I've never realized this a bitch. You're right. Good spot Patsy. All right, my 6 word weekend, family tree puts family at war. I want to know more. Yeah. So yesterday afternoon, because there's some Mother's Day in the UK. My mother in law came round and also visiting her is her sister. That's right. So these two old days, sorry, these are two relatives. They're in their 80s. So my wife thought it would be really nice because obviously in a week's time, her sister goes back to the UK and they don't know it their age, how many more times they got to see each other. Fair enough. My thought after they both had a cup of drinks and I think this is what put them at war. It would be really great for them to try and draw the family tree and then my wife wanted to film them talking about their stories. To keep it. I don't think when I get back to see my mom and dad in the comments time, I think I'm going to do this as well. What a great thing to record them because otherwise those stories they go with relatives as they go. So the idea was as they're filling out each member of the family, they say something they remember. My wife, I would say quite a vocal present interviewer. I've not seen the witness. I've seen that done before, Louis theroux, maybe word. We think how you do it. Don't let them say too much that you can speak for them. At times, talk over them. He died. Sadly, cousin Arthur not much to say about him moving on now. At times I was like, she was heckling. These two old deers, but any way they were then they started. It doesn't take much for old vote to kick off with each other. It's just a bit grumpy sometimes, aren't they? And so these two are something gross. I mean, they proper a proper row. It was my favorite bit of it. No, I stuck around for that bit and I was like, this is amazing. I might go close. That thing where you go right right in this I'd open with this when you put this all together. And do that thing where they, their body language, they sort of move apart from each other. Well, I remember it very differently. Thank you, Susan. I'd love to know if anyone else has done this, by the way, where you've recorded your family telling some of their stories. But Christian O'Connell show, podcast. After Malcolm tessie and his son, what he got up to over the weekend in 6 words, went on a learning how to tell a caravan course. We should talk tomorrow about courses you've been on or you might go on this year. Tom are producer is doing a weekend course this weekend, deboning. Yes. Knife skills at no skills, butchery. Well hope he's got like the mesh glove for that. You know how the butchers have the gloves so they don't cut themselves like the chainsaw. Doesn't they have like a mesh one today? Yeah, I think they do. My brother was a butcher. I'm sure he had like a mesh glove that prevented them. He was at the footie with me yesterday he was complaining about how busy at the moment they're looking at wedding venues planning their wedding. They're also planning a trip back to his partner's homeland of Scotland. Oh, that's why he's got the butchery skills. And he said he's quite violent some of those cities is good to know we're on a blade. It's so, so busy, so busy. And then next weekend, I've got a manov skills course. A must do. Can't move down. No, no, no, that is a move all right now. I take a weekend off from wedding venue hunting to go and butchery. How to gut a pig. Module one. All right, so passi was talking to him, I'm sure a lot of mom and dads can relate to this. We expect it to be way over the years for a water bottle, right? That you can get for just a color box these days in any supermarket. Paying I don't know about a 100% more for something called a Frank green. Water bottle, what we had to do for Christmas, both the kids wanted them. And they are so much money, but it's a thing. You remember at school, being excluded or not having what everybody else had was a kind of like death of school. It wasn't that he'd been so much that you wanted something

"Will be free. On radio's nitrous night shift strip. No. How about this flatly fact? One. Gherkins are coming. The Christian O'Connell show. Gold one O four .3. Good morning Patsy. Morning. Good morning, Jackie boy. Good to see you guys. Isn't this city transformed when footie is back? What is back? There was this buzz from like first center of the sea with the opening game, then just over the weekend, she wrote and about, I heard it when I was out walking the dog, you just hear it being spoken about, speculated about moaned about after you see your team other not. They didn't do that much during the last couple of months. They're still it was just in the air, wasn't it? And then you see people on the street heading towards train stations, trams, in team caps, team scarves. It's great that it's back in the city. I tried to watch all of it. Patsy, what do you get up to this weekend? All we had to go shopping apparently the new craze at school is a Frank green water bottle. And what is it? Do your girls have them? Yes. Whatever happened to Christmas this year was like someone called Frank green. What makes it so special? It's just a brand of water bottle and they come in funky colors, but it's all the rage in the schoolyard check. Get them all those funky colors for a funky less price. Exactly. We had a blue sort of styrofoam, Joey that we used to carry to school, which would be so uncool now. Yes. Yes. One of those things. Yeah. I mean, talk about your school days. It's made up into some sort of myth. We walk for ten hours down a broken glass lane. It was hot. We did. From the creek. No cordial and ice. Red cordial, lucky, shook it off your head. But we keep going all day. Yeah, we didn't have it. It conditioning at school. In primary school, that was slightly but that you were raising a pit, wouldn't you? So anyway, we had to go for this Frank green. So anyway, I got the wrong size. I got like a two liter, which is seriously like a 12 gallon drum. I mean, that's what you see like footy players wandering around with the mate because they need to hydrate. She's like, no. Kids got needed. Well, I thought that was just the size, but anyway, you go to the bus stop all the kids have these drink bottles. So you've got too big or too little. Too big. It's a huge amount. And I'm looking at 60 bucks. Is that what they cost? It seems science. And look at it. It's just a nondescript wall. I mean, this is easy money, isn't it? Knocking out those. And what do you think they cost you put together one of those water bottles? And then yeah, it's $60 just for and it's not just that. It hasn't got the logo hardly anyway. Not Frank green. No, it doesn't. It doesn't. And I was going to put a sticker because, you know, you put name stickers on everything for school. Frank green, I get the long stuff, Frank green. It goes to loss with the label maker. Audrey to cry, and she goes, oh, mom, no, you don't do that, especially not on a Frank green. Please drink me. If you got the label maker, just buy one of them came up once and print off a Frank race. Yes. But Christian O'Connell show podcast. Apache's day over the weekend. Extra time on the time waste of your Irish bands. Irish bands, mumford and no son. Why don't it's raining? It rains a lot. Yeah, mumford and no son. I thought automatically that I had a lot of daughters. I'm sorry. We're still warming up. 9 inch Niles. It's a common name. There is Niall. Oh, I have to take you over. We're very good. Kids shamrock. Gold. Boys to be sure to men. Boys to be sure to men. Silva? There we go. He's remembering his job. And the red hot chili peckers. Jackie boy, what have you got? Irish bands. Paddy Smith. Term of abuse no longer acceptable. Is it actually? Oh, well, you should actually. For the men who said that. I actually didn't know. It ends up in the end. Not Billy ocean. Billy O Shawn. Now that is very good. That's gold. And Murphy Murph and the funky bunch. We shouldn't accept it. All right, what have you got there? An Irish band. The Christian O'Connell show podcast. Time waste extra time. We can feel Irish bands. The text of an iPhone 7 5 O three, one O four three. You ready tomorrow Jack? Yes. Guinness Joplin. Civil rights. So put it back over the weekend. Jack USG out the bombers fan yesterday would have been an amazing barely recognizable what do you remember when you issued to me how bombers were? Esther and football club are on top of the AFL letter. I'll have you not take a screenshot yesterday. To warm me for the rest of the year. It was sensational game yesterday. Yeah. And before we talk about running off with the balls, take us through your dress options. Well, Rio noticed something when we saw there was a very happy photo of you and some producer, very happy bombers fans Rio, what did you notice in the photo? You were wearing a essendon bombers Guernsey, like the proper AFL Guernsey and a black jacket and black denim jacket. Denim jacket. It's actually a shacket. And it didn't seem like there was anything underneath the Guernsey. Was it your skin or how could you tell that just from looking at that? Because there was a lot of V, the V gave a lot of work. There was nothing underneath. It's bogan almost really, isn't it? I could see my best line underneath. It almost inviting the eye in. In short Adam's apple when's your chest? I try to shirt underneath him before I left bank he said the shirt underneath doesn't look right because the top was too taut and he was scrunching the shit. But they had to go shirtless underneath, which did mean that I had to keep the chatter on all games. All right, the other thing we need to talk about then is, is it okay then just to run off with the ball? This is the first time I've ever seen it. I mean, have

"We got people from. Yeah, people all are in Texas all over me. So again, I mean, it's just a legacy in terms of what you all mean, really, like you said. It's unfortunate that family lost its men's tennis team, but again, as far as the legacy in terms of, like you said, I mean, what the men's tennis team has done is just tremendous. Not just in terms of the sport of tennis, but also in terms of just how some of these individuals really have gone on and taken tennis used tennis as a means of really getting a degree and how they're living really productive lies and raising families and things like that. It's just tremendous. And so when you mention about this tennis and the impact we've had on tenants, really I think it's really part of really just coming to a program where we talked about really legacy. And really looking at where having your mark into this. So yeah, having on the collegiate level was definitely great. But now I'm raising that new group of outstanding tennis players who are aspiring to come into college. And then, like you said, if you all doing it, going to even step further on the pro level is just amazing in terms of what we've done. So when you look at just the legacy, I mean, really, again, it's just how you all took something ran with it and took it to another level. Now you talked about, you mentioned, which is sad, right? You mentioned because you think about all the good coaches that are out there right now for fun with the Isaac Tron to Larry Thompson to know Frank green in Philly doing it. Think about all those coaches right now that I touch in these kids and responsible for the next generation. And for that school to not have a program, right? Talk about the challenge and on the men's side of miss Texas. And this is almost every male tennis program at HBCU. Is year to year, right? You never know based on budget if you're going to get cut. Right? Talk about how, you know, you obviously were a significant role in the pharmaceutical assistant dean for the graduate studies at the college of pharmacy. So you always had another job, but still did the coaching as a passion, right?.

"For years news Lived in madagascar for a couple of months When i first with when i was actually three unions us third world country. I just lots of stuff like that. I think So many different People as well got some amazing relationships from people that i've had through my career I've been amazing. A friend from frank green. I've got some great friends from heinz paint. And i think those people have shaped me as well endorsed the input. And i'm i'm like a sponge. Just want i want to absorb people and i think there's so much that people can offer and i'm sorry fun to say auditory and either get it and helped me and i think that's probably what led me heavily relationships. Who is gonna ask you about trends to finish things off and maybe ask you. What do you think want change about direct consumer slash maycom brands over the next couple of years I think customers are going to continue to only get smarter and scotto. We've already saying that they don't that aren't want just some influence standing there holding something saying by this much smarter than that now. I don't think that's going anyway. I think anything. They're only going to get better and better in that space. I think we're gonna continue to say People moving more to the yet to the dnc. Brands i also think they just have this feeling that we might say more of the traditional marketing coming back. Billboards newspapers that kind of stuff. I just feel like when it swings one way too far it naturally has to swing back so that kind of interest me be. I'm doing pop up in charleston this weekend for two weeks doing a really like experience. You'll kind of Installation type of thing. We really want people to experience brand. You can actually buy the product that you can order the product online with awesome. We'll send it to you. But it's about experiencing the brand in eight by space so things like that. I think we're can say a lot more of because we have to take it. I think line to get it back online What's funny you mention that because he had. That's if you'd looked at the two years ago. That's what amazon sounded doing is buying brick and mortar yet Enough you know strategically. The blog talks about ticks strategy. It's like the beak thing in tech. The moment is actually going off on. Yeah totally i think. Even as a customer. I want i want to sometimes go offline really consume it to then go on it all go sometimes to charleston a wherever a shop around and then go home and buy it I think a lot of people want that experience online for us. Your sheets come prewashed. They come in a nice package. They come with a penalize. North people want that experience. So i do think there's a bit of that going on but i think fundamentally we're just gonna have to continue being smart about how we do things we can't just keep throwing out brand awareness heads and that we're going to be doing the best job ever has to change and Accustomed smarter and sponsored posts. Need to be better in content to be better and this really hit home so I think there's a lot of opportunities. But i really think we need to not get too analytical with the way that we look at somebody stuff and actually step back and as a consumer. What does that person fundamentally. Because what do i want and then. What does mom want over the moon. Kate.

When we launched sweets and treats it was about kind of giving that the same level of of choice and flexibility that we give our coffee customers for basically the thing that goes with their coffee whether it was some fancy of gluten-free bread which is delicious or whether it was some really outrageous and frankly the most american thing i've ever seen Tha dock in cookies will call them. You know it was just. It was just about giving people that choice. The you might get when you're sort of browsing a supermarket except you know that's prepackaged stuff this is all high made straight to you so curated a process is what you have on your and we were always very interested in doing something in that realm. You know that's sort of what the homeware came about. Was joe and i wanted to create something sustainable. You couldn't just buy online. That you know was something you would enjoy with your coffee. You know whether a room usable mugs or cutlery or things like that. It's really important for us to provide more value than just a bag of coffee. And i think kind of creating this marketplace quote unquote. You can't see my air close but like this. You know crafted soup or this market. You discover all these really great local product supporting all kinds of really cool small business and then also designing our own things as well so i think it was just sort of a natural progression in evolution of our base idea. Well i'm i'm a huge fan. One stop shopping and honey and roses. Has it all and your spoons. Tell me about your spoons. because i'm in love what your spoons and your your monks. I got a lot of the inspiration from the mug and the spoons when i was in bali Well no i guess it was a few months before cove it and i remember i went to this local coffee shop and they had this really cute mug like a to go cup and it had a little leaf on it. It was obviously very different than our arlene. But i remember thinking this is so cute. I wish i could buy this and take this home with me. I would love to have a reasonable mug white or clean with this really cool on it and it didn't exist and i was looking online. I was like how can we don't sell this. This would be such a great idea. So that was sort of how the logo and the mug idea came about. So when i got back to the states i started researching companies. That were sustainable. And while i was in bali i had heard about frank. Green which is a Basically a sustainable eco friendly manufacturer in australia..

"And warm weather in college, played in warm weather with Jacksonville played in warm weather with the Rams. He hasn't had a lot of cold weather experience, but he has been so if you look at his numbers against DeAndre Hopkins against DK Medcalf against the elite receivers in the league. He has done unbelievable When that you know that ego part of being a corner, right where you're the guy, and it's your job to shut down the other guy, he has responded. Every time he's been given that challenge, so really You know, with golf and how that son that surgically repaired thumb's gonna handle the cold and the weather and the grip and all those things. I think it's really the the attack of the Packers offense against the Ramseys that Rams defense just It just it makes me shake my errand. Donald. You know it's It's phenomenal what they're doing. You know on that side of the ball, so that that's gonna be like I said At the beginning of this, however many minutes ago, itwas We're down to the Final eight. And every one of these games has a story line. That's going to be fun to follow. Last thing I'll ask you. Frankly, before we let you run. You'd be great with us on the show. Steelers Go look for a new offensive coordinator. They got out to that great start. 11 no crumbled down the stretch. Big Ben's only getting older. They can't run the football is that Steelers championship window with Bennett, the quarterback? Is that now over in your mind I don't think so. I don't. I don't think it is. I think with the defense they have and the defense kind of fell off there. The last You know, if you look at statistically, they fell off the last five games, numbers wise. I think you can. Still. Um I think Ben can still get it done. I just think If you want him to do like you did last week and throw from 500 yards and 60 attempts or whatever it was. That's not how you're going to get done. I mean, he just had a He just had a surgery done toe surgically repaired reconstructive elbow that nobody had ever done before, and he came back and played. He started off the season. Incredibly hot on Ben obviously hit some bumps in the road late in the season on guy Think some of that is just His arm not being up this I mean, that's a you know that's uncharted territory. When you're talking about coming back from the surgery that he did, and I think another year hey, hasn't decided if he's coming. I think he's going to come back. But if he does come back, I think he's only gonna be better because I think that year that elbow will be another year removed. From the surgery. There's a couple things they needed to address the need to address their offensive line, which is weird to say about the Steelers. They need to get better there. They need to get a running game. It's hard to believe that the Steelers We're last in the NFL in run game offensive run game, and they've got to do a better job there. So that's the offensive line that's running back. I know James Connor was banged up a little bit miss some time. Um So, Yeah, if I think Ben could get it done, But I think you need a better play on the offensive line and better run game to provide some balance for Ben to go with that to go with that effective defense. He's frank green. Make sure you listen to him and Kevin Harlan coming up Sunday. Westwood one Browns and Chiefs Trent, This is great. Thank you. All right. Good talk with you Take care. "Talented from year to year three. So if they get some stability around him, I think that there is an opportunity for him to have success. Yes. Frank Green here with us on the show. All right, let's get to the game that you're calling this week, and Brown said a great victory last weekend blowing out the Pittsburgh Steelers. Now they get a different test. Then they're the best team in the NFC may be the best team in the NFL in the Kansas City Chiefs, how much of a shot give Cleveland this weekend to win the game? I think they do have a shot. You know, I think it's going to be one of two ways. Um, you know, when I look at it, it's because Cleveland is, you know, coming off an emotional win the fact they made the playoffs for the first time in a long time, the fact the fact that they want a playoff game for the first time. In decades. You know they're riding an emotional high. They're getting a lot of players back. There were on the coded list. They're getting coaches back. Bill Callahan's back. Obviously advance kids back. Giving their head coach, an offensive line coach is huge. You know, there's a lot of positives going for the brown. I think if they can, if they can stay, not turn the ball over which they've done extremely well. If they run the ball all the things that you, you know, the boring stuff that you hear people say, Keep the ball out of the homes. His hands. Don't give up the big plays. Put some pressure on them. I think if they keep it close And they've got a real chance. But there's also the other side of it is You know, Andy Reid coming off the bye week is outstanding. The homes in the playoffs throughout his career has been outstanding. Um, you know, just the preparation, the fact with Tyree Kill and you know Travis Kelsey pushing the big pass plays. The Browns have given up a lot of big pass plays this year, so In my mind, it's either going to be really close in the Browns have a chance or the or the chief's. You're just gonna, you know, have a double digit type of wind because they just got so much speed and so much big play potential. You know that I'm excited about. I'm really looking forward to it. It's gonna be it's gonna be one of those interesting games because really, the Browns can go into the game as loose is possible because there is zero expectations from anybody other than the people in their building in their locker room about what they want to get done and how they can get it done. On. Like I said it a lot happens with confidence. I mean, it's uh, really can carry a long way. The Chiefs have played a lot of close games since week nine that Carolina game and the only one by two points. I'm not concerned about them. But is there any concern with how tight those games have been for basically a half season the second half of the season with Kansas City? Their last seven wins have been by six points or less. So they had a 10 game winning streak prior to the week 17 when they sat a bunch of guys, so they have won 10 games in a row. But the last seven of those 10 games were by six points or fewer, and so They've had a lot of close games they played. Yeah, I mean, they're finding ways to win games. That's what that's what good teams do They find ways to win games. But because of that, you know eventually if you play the law of averages, and it can get scary, so Um That's why that's why my first statement was the brown pinkie put clothes. They've got a real chance, because, um, you know, I like what they do in the red zone. I like the way they consume the clock. They've gotta gotta have a high percentage of third down conversions. They've got to be able to run the ball. Um Mayfield has to protect that. He's only had the one interception in the last 10 games. But he's also had a few fumbles. If you go back to the Jets game a couple weeks ago, you know he had some issues with that early on and gave them field position. Um, you know, there's a lot of things that have to go right for them, but it's not impossible Ravens bills That's a game. I'm most excited for this weekend. I'm flipping a coin each and every day to try to pick who I'm going to go with my football Friday predictions what gives here between Ravens and bills in Buffalo? So the Ravens were the number one Russian team and they beat the number two Russian team a week ago in the Titans. Now they go up against the number three passing team in the bill, so it's a little bit different, what they're gonna be facing. I think the fact that the The bills. They're so dynamic. Josh Allen is playing out of his mind. I know both of them are hot right now. I think the bills have won seven in a row, and the Ravens have won six in a row. Um, too hot teams. The Ravens definitely want to run the ball. They want to do that. You know, That's not a secret to anybody on and I think that's what happened in the Titans game is they held him in check. But then all of a sudden a third long and Lamar gets out on speaks it up through the middle, and you get him out in space, and it's hard. To bring him down when you get him in space, So I like the bills just because they're at home on. They're just playing playing very emotional, fun, loose football right now, But But I wouldn't be shocked if Baltimore finds a way to pull it out just as well as they've been playing lately, but but I tend to lean towards the bills being at home. I find the criticism, though, this year tranq green that many people have had about Lamar Jackson as just comical. Maybe even for most of his young career so far with everything going bad this year..
