John's the author of the franchise path and is a frequent contributor and fought leader for publications on the topic of franchising franchise investments john. Welcome to the show mark. Thanks for having me. I love the show sided with great. So i'm excited to talk about franchises. We've had some recent episodes about alternative investments and also some about entrepreneurship business. Ownership and franchises seem like they could fit well on both of those categories. So can you give us the the high level overview of what's going on in the franchising world right now absolutely and again. Thanks for having me mark it. What we're seeing out there in the market is really just incredible interest in franchising and business ownership in franchising. Not right for everyone. Before a lot of people. There are aspects of franchises in the that allowed to be the better path towards business ownership and now coming out of kobe to a lot of people looking scratch that entrepreneurial itch they want more sense of control in their life. And no feel like. Maybe now's the best time to to make that happen. So i mean year to date are placements are up. Over fifty percent from last year. Replacing a potential buyer into a franchise system last year is up over fifty percent over the previous year. So we're really saying just great interests were seen a lot of interest in sectors. That maybe i. You wouldn't think i focused in the area of non-food franchising which relied people when they think franchising. They think fast food by really focused on the many other sectors in. That's where we see people gravitating some of these things. Whether being industry kobe resist dinner amazon. Resist dinner somewhat recession resistant. That's what people are looking for these days..

"Of things that i i strive for interesting because i i agree with you that i don't think anybody should ever Right for audio or create for an audience. You kind of but i You wanna create for work that you'll be proud of and work that inspires you work that you wanna do and not necessarily think or what's going sell. i mean. Nobody wants to do that. But i think there is some benefit in knowing who you audiences and knowing who is appreciating. Your work disagree with that. That's yeah no has to be a balanced. I mean i'm still trying to sell us. I mean why. I'm here with you today though. I would be just as happy doing his. Look just my favorite topic. If someone wants to talk to me about my books for an hour right. I was do that. People frangieh family will. What are you doing. What are you writing attending the compensation but no one wants to go into depth. Like you're going into really. I love this. This is just like nothing else. Me too i i. That's why i have the meteo third segments. I just love listening to authors about their process about you know what inspires them how they get started and hegel about telling the story. So i i'm guessing you're I want to say that Guessing that you are panther. What they call a pants or somebody who can fly by the pants. But it sounds to me in and you'll correct me if i have this wrong but it sounds to me like your processes is this you get a great idea and you start just from the idea alone and let the story develop as you writing it and don't necessarily plot out all of it before you you start getting the answer. I don't add line my stories. I start with the premise I have an idea of where i wanted to go. But eighty ninety percent of the content wanna finish had no idea. We'll be in the book when he started right. Help me out. Because i'm writing a book and i just wanna understand If you encounter this and what you do when you if you're gonna flow writing and you get your everything's coming out and you get to like you're in the middle of the page. And then he stopped and you like where does it go from here and how you do you kind of. Sit with that before you say you know. I guess i've just run out for for the night. I should shut it down for the night or You know do you. Is that common or all the time. Yeah because he machine. You can't just keep pumping it out. It means a creative process. So you could stop. You could leave the aside. Come back to it but come back to it. Don't put it aside forever. You know that this is what called writer's block you know a week came up to a brick wall. Now what do we do right. Why keep pushing through it so like now. I've written twenty five thousand words to my book now. mike okay. I could keep going but now i'm going to reread what i wrote. I'm going to revise a little bit when i wrote so. I'm going back journaling. What i've written. That's what i do. I'll I'm writing down now and make sure track and then as writing. I might wanna make some changes to it or whatever But i keep pushing through no matter. What does that britain. This is my ninth novel writing. So i don't have a problem coming up with story ideas mark. That's not the issue. Yeah no i get that put for me and you mentioned your reread. Some of what iran. I do that too often. I think. And i it that that's one of the things that stopped me from moving forward like i gotta go back. I'm doing that too often. And i noticed that i'd do that with everything. Songwriting video editing. No matter what. I do in creative process. I like to go back to the start and see had get here and i do away too often. I feel like that kind of stops me and so in some sense. But you're aware of it yourself aware so well. Was this something. You always had being something. You always had planned when you when you were young. Being a kid always loved the idea of being a writer you know and that to me was was was a great thing that i was wanted to achieve to be. What's most important. Is that not being a writer but having a creative outlet that i'm good at so that's the most satisfying thing is having that because that to me as wonderful hearing feedback for people woke the books but be able to write something and happened out there and and it's done well and people have praised. It is a lot of satisfaction in that. Because i created myself. It's a hundred percent. Mike creation writer for anyone else by for me and so that that's giving me this total satisfaction and i've always seek that in other ways. I mean i tried other forms of creativity on interior design business. I make custom draperies upholstery of working with fabrics my whole life. But you know i'm creating aca someone else tells me one on one but look this way i want these colors textures on creating it anyway. It's it's it takes a certain type of skill to make that happen but it's not as for them and i am making them happy and producing But it's not real hundred percent creativity. Where is one hundred percent like. Maybe as you feel that way in writing music you have that that same organic feeling that you created something totally. You're right I'm gonna do something. I haven't done in a really long time. Probably at least three hundred four hundred episodes here but Because of the way this conversation has gone and spiritual nature of it and what you just said. I'm inspired to go back here. So what it would. Basically what i'm gonna do is i'm gonna tell you really short story. Try to make it shortest possible because it's a long story that needs to be told in a short amount of time but then it leads to a very important question about About how you feel about this thing. So here's the story Several years ago at craigslist for an amplifier. It seemed very seemed like a great deal. I said i'm interested in choa. The guy up yes. Meet me in a mall. Parking lot What whoa whitman mall here on long island like that's really weird to buy an amplifier in a mall parking lot. 'cause you'd wanna plug it in tested out. Whatever i'm thinking maybe the guy is going to bring a battery. I don't know maybe maybe he's just worried that i'm gonna robin. He doesn't want somebody come into a task. Whatever i get there early. He shows up and he pulled up in a very expensive vehicle is what's his wife. Who's got diamonds and pearls. And they both smell really pretty. And i guess i tell you what made money a lot of money and so we got to talk show showing medium and he asked what i did. I said i played in a band. He said oh. You'll live in a dream in. I laughed in his face not to be rude. It was just an immediate natural reaction You don't know my life. Man city of my life is nothing but work I mean to support what i love to do to do a three hour gig. Sometimes it's a fourteen hour workday to do it. Three hour gig. You see me up there for three hours and look like i'm having the time of my life. You don't see the eleven hours of packing up equipment and all that kind of crap and he stopped me said hold on. I'm sixty nine years old. I always wanted to play in a band at made a lot of money in the stock market and commodities exchange. I'm selling you my aunt means. I'm never going to play in a band from my perspective. You'll live in gym and for me. That was a perspective change in like.

I just want to know some of these codes. Because i find it. I want to see hollywood. I wanna like we're just friends. So meaty quentin tarantino. Made the thing. He made the news and i. This headline demeanor outstanding. Just for the fact what this. It's like karma to me. No look at his feet. No quentin tarantino. Never gave a penny his mom. Yeah all right because the mother would fucking be such a cont. Nba dick he was on a show right. He's quotas ain't quote. My mom always had a hard time with his scholastic ability so one day. She was like this she goes. She was bitching and moaning about going on a fucking tirade and then she ended the tirade with. Oh and by the way this little writing career. The air quotes and everything. There's little writing career that you have you doing. That stuff is over no more. Meanwhile this guy hills grudge thing as he should. This is why. I frigging like people that think that they can just say anything the people and then when that that person becomes a success times have we been shit on about this. Show me personally crapped on like what do you do. You should show the. Oh you're never gonna make it and then when you make it. That person should be used to be allowed to kicked off but sometimes is was his mom using it as an inspirational thing. She's just now. Pitch is a lot more than just not miserable childhood all right but you know because sometimes people say things to to push you a little further little harder and then. I don't want to say like you're a dick. They're trying to motivate you in ways that they know work other than saying. Hey you're doing really good at this. We like ghost fucking constructive. Criticism right is a constructive. Criticism and quentin tarantino's mom is a count and he will say that's never gave the beach one penny because she didn't deserve it when you mock someone's back and dreams and then they achieve their dreams and i'm doing yeah. This is kind of personal to me when you go out there and you bust your ass and you have somebody who supposed to be backing you patting you on the back and telling you know you've got this. I got you fucking biggest cheerleader. And in the shit on you. She doesn't deserve any fuckin- money. Not even a draft. She deserve pocket lint. After being a bitch like that it's it's just not right paying back room bull and us. She probably support ally. There lies the difference if you feel like you want to give her that for that. That's fine but if she's taking it as now you turn it into a business a lot more than that story problems. I read that story now. Mike she me grab a disaster. I maybe there was incest. I don't know where. Joe veered off and incest say terrible. You know with all that again. He wins he should have paid. Scientists fucked up in the head. He really aged. That goes in the hand you know. What do they say genius. And he's a genius and insanity something like that. Yeah a true has the guy fucking genius. And i'm the fucking definition of it but this is stories stories for her. I mean this guy was. You could stop him. Now he's like that's the drive. That's the same. Drive in any summers was just talking about that i have. You can't fucking let other people tell you otherwise. Their stories about a heavy drinker whole ability was making jokes about the feet thing. But yeah he's got a foot fetish that's crazy. He's got his shoes. That i love. His movies are movies all right speaking of movies. Four zun so media here. I'm just finishing up with his million. Then we'll go to. I swear should do that. I swear to god. I do have to bring up the bam. Marge era is suing johnny knoxville. He's also suing. I believe Jeff tremaine who's the producer ben mergers johnny actual paramount pictures and mtv and other people Over his firing from the newest jackass movie. That's coming out jackass forever. Okay bam claims inhumane. Abusive and discriminatory treatment wrongful termination from the jackass franchise that he created. Now he did not create the jackass frangieh. He had a group. Cky which was camp. Kill yourself that was one group and then there was. Also the jeff tremaine lead from the big brother magazine which is also with johnny actual. Joe you have to still watch that documentary. Dumb would use on hulu right now. You can watch it right now. If you wish and you learn more how they set up this whole how how it came to be they kind of morphed all the different kinds of camp kill yourself the jackass camp. Stephen came in differently. Everything came in. They shot a pilot and they sold it to mtv so bam lost his job because bam has a drug problem but then were alcohol problem. I caught something about this story. They've fired him because he was actually seeking help to get the stuff you know. He was on medication. Or whatever doing the things to straighten himself out and they didn't like them like that or died. According to the thing. I read according according to the soup. "Foul out is macelroy. Roby coleman ram saints right. That's it their own. People are frangieh. Dante what devon booker. Staying in the game was the best possible outcomes because stars shouldn't spell out a big dave in big moments. It's preposterous that. This wasn't a foul outright. Bob right stars are allowed who fouled out when they found someone breitbart ryan. How's the standards of north western. Journalists have slipped j. stop. I don't know that was looked. Everything's a matter of degrees in my mind was t. ticky tax situation. No absolutely not. You don't file them out. That was not ticky tack. That was sautin battery. That was that was tweets win a five with no time off for good behavior now. And here's the problem as soon as that happens at all here we go to conspiracy. Theories are going to be out there. They're going to say that the nba only once the referees. Control the game. Oh no and. I know that happened and that's exactly what was going to happen. That was egregious. He had to go back assault. What was horrible for the nba. Last night is shortly after that play. What started trending on twitter rigged the nba. That if you are the commissioner you do not want that happening that not only. Was that a foul. But it was a purposeful foul because he didn't want to give up a layup still trying to win the game and not only did he. Did he foul there. But then he came back playing with six thousand and again and didn't get whistled for howard so a lot of integrity problems going down the stretch for the For the nba there and also remember the foul that jae crowder got on When he pretended like he got knocked over and goes sprawling down the google. That wasn't even crowded. Does that a lot so a lot of integrity problems with integrity. Problems is how kevin blackstone calls woody. I mean what did you see last night with that. Well bob and i've been covered this game for one hundred years and we've seen this over and over again. But i picture my mind commissioner sitting in new york with the red phone and he beeps it and says this is where we want to fix the game. That's what are you making you serious because that is absolutely you're making a joke. Those night acted like they were naked and afraid to call any kind of the important calls there and the crew chief afterwards admitted they got play wrong. He said we saw it from the wrong angle well one replay it. I mean you could still do that. Ramona shelburne like the referee. There was james. Capers and dave mcmenamin are reported there who was the pool reporter and he has a quote from saying look i. I thought i saw clean sleep. I just totally missed his hand on his back. I was at the wrong angle and capers. Actually is one of the better refs in the league. I like that. He took responsibility for it. I am sure he must have been mortified when he saw the replay. I'm sure he just really now. That wasn't the only foul though. It was like seven thousand devon booker. And i think you have to look at book where he was having a transcendent games got forty points. He gets that fifty dollars early in the fourth in the fourth quarter. And that's when milwaukee made it so some of his book here on the reps save the nba's bacon by blocking the shot and milwaukee. Let's talk about it now. Let's see many of those people that talked lebron.

Accepted. Hers was hers, perhaps couldn't be nominated for an EMMY and your cousin few my cousin nephew. Oh another. I'm very he's my yeah. He's my nephew still younger than me. He's on the show before. Yes, thirty four minutes after the hour entertaining story about him on the podcast, some research. So I asked me again what year I was born before. That's why it's it's weird for me because it's still in. We're in this or William time. I know. Voice weird. That, that was the year. I was born anniversary of the transformers, too. Only took a week to figure that out. Thirty fifth anniversary turned sixteen in nineteen Eighty-four. Right. I was ten okay. So chairman Adam Schiff is a tablet busy. We he will be joining us in about an hour and it's supposed to be now but there's a lot going on so Felix. Sater's stabby MacDill glass out of his congressional hearing. I was a big MARTINI glass effort. Maybe because they took my advice and they all wore welding masks. That's true. And then he was like, oh, well, my plan is foiled the eye. Okay. All right. So Fridays with Frangieh coming up and then chairmanship in about an hour. Soon he is because he's talking about obviously subpoena. You don't have. I hope this is the enough is enough moment. We will talk to him, but I mean obviously after picks yesterday, and I know we talked about that about of legal analyst analysts were NS Ennis's animus. Yes. That's right. That this was Nadler's plan that he actually legally welcomed ho picks, not really cooperating as the court case as Tom Hartman, just said, went into light, this Tomahawk men. A little giggly. He's very bigly around. It wasn't he was here for a half the time before I realized that was Leonardo dicaprio's dad. He said, hi, this is George to Capri. A lot of Capri. Okay. All right. Complete, coincidence, Leonardo DiCaprio narrated, his fast. When when you said that, that's when I. Or booking have. No drones in them. No men in them is Newman. Unmanned durins. What did I do to deserve this? The respect to the title. On the actual crisis here. A man waiting for me. In vancouver. George glosses was here. On this thing with these Cepeda that you said, you know, we need to move on these things. This might be our opportunity because it's not somebody that has, you know. Immunity executive privilege. Russian spy, an affair actor. They should throw the book they should throw subpoena. They should throw his candy ass in jail. Candy ass in jail. That's the Stephanie Miller show phrase. Okay. And Steve Mnuchin is made of. Nari, I was going to say payday, but chunky. Okay. Lavar. Okay. I'm just hoping that between what happened this complete just show with Iran going on. Leader. Pelosi speaker gives me is hopefully going to say enough enough. And now after picks yesterday and this 'cause you're right. Travis legally, this is different. We'll ask chairmanship about it, but him to skipping out right of different than than even these claims of what was the superpower, but he claimed absolute immunity. Super-duper super-duper. Yes, sir. That's not a thing legally. Oh. Okay. Legal. Thanks speaker Pelosi yesterday I think it's a dangerous situation. High-tension wires up in the region. We have to be strong strategic about how we protect our interests. We also cannot be reckless in what we do. So it'd be interesting to see what they have to say, whether the I don't think the president wants to go to war, there's no appetite for going to war in our country. Oh, yeah. There's the whole transcript. Read the whole transcript of the thoughtfully that drone was unarmed. There was no man in it. And there was no, we didn't have a man or woman in the drone we had nobody in the drone it's a drone. It would've made a different. Big difference, tell you would have made a big difference, but I have a feeling maybe I'm wrong. But feeling it was a mistake made by somebody that maybe shouldn't have been doing what they did. I think they made a mistake. And then he said that six other times they made a mistake. And also that there is no man in would make that he clarified. There was no woman either. See you. Okay. Sexist shops. Okay. Super-duper. Thank you. Okay. And he's, he's correct about one thing there. It would've made a big difference. If there was a man in that because it wouldn't have been a drone it would have been a plane. As you're now is you with chaps. If they are by definition atlas if there's an s in them, it's because somebody's wearing them and their asses hanging out, otherwise their pants. Pants. Chats? Are that aren't being warned? Okay. "Like think about it. The gloves were I think initially made. So that you wouldn't damage your hands. And that you can continue the punch more and more and more protect the fighter in this case. You can't be doing long rounds of consistent punching. So there is I think different types of strategies that come all with this sport. I'm not an expert in. I don't know what a little tidbits. But from looking at it from the times, I have to sport of boxing. There is differences. And what you also see a lot more blood and guts. I'm be very intrigued to see what what what does goes in what probably a does. But the burn boxing shit. We got some real quick notes. We're going to get a putter here te'o. Fema low pairs occur. Stevenson announced that they were to tiebreaker announce that they will be fighting on the Crawford con on the car. I know that my gosh occur inciting Christopher D S. And I guarantee a famous fighting and that guy's name, but Bob by Bank that Christopher is real real tough challenge for for a Davison, and and might prove to be. But I think I expect him to go out there, and and a business and being on this platform with ESPN under such a big card. I think that that the spotlight their form. And I think he's gonna rise to the cage. Got any thoughts on it? I mean, the the prospects Chak or until FEMA Lopez are set for success. All they have to do is just win. They put opponents they're for should we stop comedy prospect. Should we should we start condom like Frangieh contenders? Now. I mean, I wouldn't bet. After this fight that these these guys are taking especially she core, man. Christopher Diaz is a big step up. I am when I hate FEMA Lopez talk to so I think it was an interview that he did with Kellerman. He doesn't sound that he considers himself a prospect. But he doesn't he doesn't think. He is it doesn't sound very li-. He doesn't seem to respect many of his his in his division either. But he seems by he doesn't consider himself a prospect. He believes he has something others. Don't have he believes he's going away. So yeah, maybe quoting him a prospect might not be the right thing. I don't know in terms of them because if they don't describe themselves as a prospect then. Yeah. Yeah. I mean you talking about title shot. So I mean, yeah, you can probably give 'em contender status, especially after this next, especially she core my opinion. So. Big cities guys, obviously, we'll have coverage there. I'll be at the fight. So. See a boy Tange coughing you. You'll be trying to rub. Oh, I get to see Terrance coffee. Yeah. You see love. But yeah, we we had an interview today with Brian Custer where we live broke Brooke little bit of news. Jared heard Gary Russell will be back in April on the same card. So the four to that. I forget, what did you say that the car was going to be at Ron? Am I something we talked to heard her wanting to do a hometown fight? So he might be Russell on the car. So it made sense to do it in DC both Murray. I'm glad to see her begging rain last time, we sent him with on the wild around the car. So but the time for her to get it by rocket on saying he's one of the the Pamir stars. And the sport in my opinion. Thank you, very marketable guy, very very likable guy. Just just needs that push men on thank. When he defies the move up to one sixty more people start taking notice. Can you imagine a heard and Cannella fi? That would be there would be fucking that would be excited, man. That would be definitely definitely a exciting fight. But you got eight thousand before we move on. Gary Russell fight to times at least this year make one of only Santa Cruz if his only ones. Your gear was different wanna see you back in the ring at least twice this year. Man. "This is really emotional for me today. Colonel kettles passed away last Monday. Service was yesterday. And if cellini Michigan and his burial is going to be this coming Wednesday at ten o'clock, and if cellini as well where they're hoping to have a flyover of an Apache helicopter, but they're not depending on the weather, and of course, the temperature is going to be below zero. I I just wanted to talk just a little bit about Charlie because he was such an important. Person to me. And do all the veterans are local in Washington county, probably one of the most humble and just nice man that you would ever wanna know supported veterans and everything that they did went to school in Epsilon onto eastern Michigan university got drafted into the Korean war got out of the service after Korea worked in the civilian was called up again to fight in Vietnam did two tours in Vietnam, you did another whole year tour after his medal of honor. He's got a couple of he's got Distinguished Flying crosses. I don't know how many air medals, and he when he was finally finally retired. As a Lieutenant Colonel yesterday at the. Memorial service at Saint John's Baptist church in Michigan. There was more brass there than I have seen in a long time. I mean, that's again, another show respect generals, and so many aviators and a lot of wings, and whatever you wanna call it that were there the other medal of honor recipient for Michigan McConnell was there. He actually was saying a couple of solos. It was just a powerful and emotional emotional time for for many of us. And I just wanted to say goodbye to Charlie. And our best wishes are for his family and for all of all of the veterans who have known him over the years. We're in the process of putting together a book of not only Charlie stories, but also of another twenty-five Washington county area veterans that we hoped that we had had finished in time. We didn't get there. So it will be done pretty quickly. And so we want to make sure that that happens, but anyway, smooth sailing and. May the skies. Stay calm for you. I wherever you are charleena's you as you said the other day, two of our Frangieh. You're pulling pitch for the last time going up, and I can't imagine anybody better qualified to be an happening today than you. So thank you for being a friend, Charlie. All right. Let's get back. You I know you've run into one. Oh, absolutely. We actually helped him with his claim and we've done some claims work for him of medicine two daughters. Come to the office, pretty regular. So I'm gonna imagine that they'll seek our help for any of the burial benefits that are available. Yeah. I mean, he because he's medal of honor recipient, obviously, he could be buried in Arlington. If you wanted to and he says now, I'm warning Epsilon standing. I can't remember the name of the exact cemetery. It's off of river road over there. But it's it's and it's already all set up a Carolina. I know that I know that you have met Colonel kettles. Oh, yes, I met him several times. And I was reminiscing I will share with you some pictures if we want to put them on the website. On Memorial Day in Detroit him, and I were honored guests we both gave speeches and we were together with his daughter, and I will never forget that very memorable. A great, man. Very humble. And so you're right. I will remember that day Memorial Day in Detroit, very cold. But not as cold as it's week. What a great opportunity to be with him. It was and that anybody who has touched by Colonel kettles is is is lucky, and I think it's it's one of those people that will influence you the rest of your life. I know he's he will be influencing my life for whatever I've got left and anyway, thanks for those comments. All right. So let's get let's get back to the to the VA. Got a question. And this is kind of interesting. I know Carolina you have to go. But so here's a World War Two vet that. I got this note from it. I'm not sure what he's eligible for. It says World War Two vet am I getting my taking all the benefits, and I'm not sure what John is looking for here. But my question for either one of you is is there is there a time period were event benefits run out or you just say forget about it because you're ninety whatever years looks like he's about ninety five. Well, I will answer this way. And I know Michael will be really elaborate in the fence so complete in comprehensive. I just met when I was down in Florida with you know, and held some classes, and every person has their own story here, we were just talking about criminal kettles, and where he's going to be very believe it to this day. A lot of people are not aware of their burial benefits. Learn simple little benefit or eight and a time. So what I would tell the World War Two veteran is give us a call. Give Michael a call. Give me a call. And let me peel the onion back on your story. Let me look what you have what's out there to be able to give you that answer. No. There is nothing you're entitled to or just pride you. Yes. There is depending on your era. If you're combat that trend excetera and everybody is different. So Michael, I don't know if you have anything to add with that. But I would tell that to pursue. There might be some benefit. Exactly, you know. There are some time limits on certain benefits safest education benefits. So I'm going to say an education benefit is not going to be available right now. But if he's talking about things like disability compensation. You know, we the service connection for sicknesses illnesses injuries or diseases that happen to people on active duty in World War Two and in Korea, and they never pursued the benefit immediately after their service. So no, there's no statute of limitation on that particular benefit. What might become a problem are the records, especially for those who were affected by the fire at the archives in nineteen Seventy-three. Army records prior to nineteen fifty nine in certain air force records certain portions of the alphabet who served prior to nineteen sixty four but other than that. We we can overcome that burden would a good medical opinion from a physician and just as a general fazon mentioned. There's always the consideration of the non-serbs connected. Disability pension for person who's in need of aid and attendance. There's no statute of limitation on a home.

"So maybe maybe they'll have got a little bit reunion. This is truly one of my favorite sound bites of the entire the entire week. Would you mind loading that up right now go for roller Frangieh Whitworth here where you where champagne instead after that New Orleans game you sit in that last week when we wanted they got the matchup. They wanted with you on him one keep talking we don't seem so fair enough because I like what he was saying on the sidelines to tell you keep talking, and I hope you see you soon you, and then we're gonna have a good little nice love all the Gumbo together. Jets Gumbel week. Let's eight he he deleted this. But he's ready to go. Yeah. You know, what's my guy, man? So I you know, what he's a little prophetic. Right. I mean, he did say that we I mean, then it's true. That is true. So at least check we check that. And I don't know whether they'll actually Gumbo together. But we'll see. So it's not actually on the list formal setup. Yeah. Happening. Those things go. I mean, you can text one another and just made up and grab some would be the best place in New Orleans for that. Do you know off the top of your hand and get me a lot of trouble if named one because they don't be offended. I don't wanna get you. You know, what I think there's plenty of places in New Orleans fund some Gumbo. Okay. You're on the LSU BCS national championship team for Nick Sabin at the loss at LSU. You not, sir. Woes did he recruit you personally, Nick Saban the houses first recruiting class? What was that like for you to basically he was coming out of Michigan state at that? I was actually at that time kind of decided I was going to Florida and play for Spurrier and Nick assigned LSU, and I change my mind and decided to be tiger. And, you know, did you call Spurrier and personally delivered that news? No, I did not. But I not formally committed. I was in the processing I'd visited there and kinda thought that was going to do and then Nate came in and I met with him over the summer and really just you know from day one rails. This guy's pretty special. And I was that was that, you know, I think there's certain people you meet in in coaching that just through a conversation of understand how they see ball. How they see the big picture of the process. How you go about being successful at something. It's bigger than just Xs and os, and and whether we're going to win or lose it's about man, this guy has a process day in and day out that he's going to go about to be successful. And it something that just cleaned you to him the moment you sit down with him. And I've always said this not that John has had that kind of success at all. But I've said since I've been there that Sean is one of the first people have been around like that that just immediately you can sit and talk with him, and you get a feel like with Nick that man. This guy's daily process rhythm how he goes about working and being successful is just different. It's different. I was going to ask you about. That is to is. There any similarities, obviously, they're from different generations. And obviously he like you just one first career playoff game. So obviously, there's some break pumping that you need to do when you talk about. Sean McVay at this point in time. But you could I could tell when I met him at the combine when he had just gotten the job almost two years ago at this point in time actually the anniversary of two years of his hiring was the night of win over the Cowboys. You could tell there's something there is their similarity in any way. I really the intensity really just the obviously both are extremely intelligent guys..

Kevin Spacey's creepy video looks like a cynical attempt at distraction

"Charge of allegedly sexually assaulting teenager in two thousand sixteen if you guys remember Kevin Spacey had a whole thing with that where he was accused allegations against him of sexual misconduct. And then people came out with other stories from his pass of other bad things that he had done when this news came out, the Netflix show house of cards, basically killed his character. Offscreen and then did their last season without him. He was going to be another movie. I think that dot cancelled and was reshot with some other actor. Yeah, he was just like disgraced. Yeah. It was it was crazy times. So the video is basically already infamous it's called let me be Frank which Kevin Spacey's character on house of cards was Frank Underwood and the video is Kevin Spacey decked out in a Santa apron, and he kinda has like the he's sounds like his character. Frank Underwood which had likes sort of a southern drawl to him on the show on house of cards. So it's kind of weird because you think maybe it is Frank from the show, but he's not on the show anymore and his dead. So I don't know and he delivers a direct to camera monologue. And again, it could be like the what he's saying could be about his house of cards character. But it could also be about himself about Kevin space. But it's. Because it's called let me be Frank which could be about Frank or just being left phrase, ready Frangieh just weird and people have oh, it's strange. He's a weird guy to me anyway. So I don't really like watching a lot of the things. He's in he's. Yeah. He's already strained. I think he's a good actor. I just like he's weird. Also, if you watch will and grace the amount of times, they talk about how Kevin Spacey has basically done bad things to like men comes off so many times, and that was way before the allegation Ackley, everyone knew about this and didn't do anything just terrible, which is like Harvey Weinstein, bad, right? And Kevin Spacey wasn't even that big of a per-. I mean, he was he's people know we is. Yeah. Not not like Brad Pitt. Yeah. Yeah. Easy. So weird. Yes. So again, it's weird could be his house of cards Gaechter could be him people. I've read people said also kind of like what's going on with Trump right now. So they're like making connections current political things, but then his house of cards character is like vice president. I don't know if he becomes president. But he's also in political things. So it's like so many so many different things. And again, he sounds like Frank Underwood the video like basically as recording this this from yesterday. He oh had seven million nine hundred eighty seven thousand five hundred eighteen views, which is so many where did he post it on like just on YouTube on his own YouTube? Oh, just so weird. It wasn't even on like any other social media. So anything just on YouTube, the video has more views than tickets sold domestically Paddington to I man or widows, and like, you probably can't, you know, YouTube views can be a little misleading. But that's still a punch yet is was he going off on like in the whole thing. What was he saying? I have a quote, it's weird. I wouldn't say he's super direct about what he's talking about. He just kinda starts like we all know what he's talking like just starts rambling on the whole thing is just monologue.
