"The three NFL games we were treated to on Thanksgiving only one of them featuring a matchup of division opponents that was the New York Giants visiting the Dallas Cowboys in an NFC east tilt and that game a big day for the Dallas tight ends who scored three touchdowns. The first two that came from Dalton Schultz receiving touchdown passes from dak Prescott the third and final touchdown from the Titan group, that was a rushing touchdown. Here's a little give. It is national tight end. Hayden hender shot on the run. And he's gonna jump in the Salvation army kettle. Those everyone. That is the call on Fox TV and as you heard on that call, after the touchdown, the cowboys tight ends went and jumped in the big red Salvation army kettle in the back of the end zone, repeating the celebration that cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott made famous a few years ago, Elliot was asked after the game to rate how the tight ends did compared to his performance. I got given a props, man. They taught me. They taught my kettle celebrations, you know, I'm a little jealous. You know, they didn't let me in on it, but I love those tight ends. We got a hell of a tight end room, you know, all four of them playing great ball. Good to see Ezekiel Elliott enjoying that Salvation army celebration because when he did it in 2018, the NFL actually find him for it and kind of a good PR spend. He and the NFL donating $21,000 to the Salvation army. That's the number he wears number 21, now we'll have to see if the cowboys tight ends are ready to match that kind of charitable donation. "Contour and Phil and it's a minute we'd started doing these podcasts in video. I said, I am never, I'm not wearing makeup. Sorry. I did my eye makeup today too. You. Fabulous. Did you paint on those? I think you did. No, he painted them. That's just focused in Egypt. Were you around Leo, when HGTV came in and started doing the era? Doing live with Regis and Kelly and the makeup artist you go there and you get made up before the show the makeup artist said we're using airbrushes today. And she painted my face with airbrush. If you just use regular foundation and powder, you can see it, there's enough detail you can see the powder. And apparently Kelly had brought that on. She had a TV show, I can't remember their name. She had prime time TV show. And they were using it there. So they wanted to try it on. They didn't stick with it. It was back to the other. No, no, I don't say it. Yeah, you don't need that. I had my makeup done for Fox TV once and oh my. Did they paint you right? I looked, they did, but they, I walked out looking almost the same as I normally do, but a little better. Yeah. That's what you want when you talk. Like 45 minutes. I still don't understand what all they are doing with my face. Oh, we used to have hair and makeup technique. It would literally take you 45 minutes. You have to gum an hour early to get hair done and make up done and then do your nails. They do the whole thing. Nails? Well, we were showing all eyes. You're a hand model, George. George, no, it was Kramer, Kramer was a hammock. And yet Kramer used to lotion. So I got good at going. You rubbed the outline. If I were showing this phone, you because you don't want to just go look, there's the phone. You go like this. That's wrong. It's like the price is right. And you just slowly stroking it. No idea how many times queen Peru it gave me crap for bad fingernails. If I did a product demo and we'd do the B roll of me showing the product and the manicure. Okay, you want a tip? Let me know. You want a tip? I'll give you a tip. Everybody, this is going to be your tip of the week. For a while with tech TV, I would go and I would get my nails done. And I went to a place it was 20 bucks. And eventually they stopped they said he was paying too much. You need to go to the $5. I said, I'm not going to fight telling mail someone. I'm sorry. So fungus is and stuff. Well, I said, really 20 bucks a week, you're not anyway. I stopped, but I did it. And I asked, and they said, look, all you need to do, the manicure said, get a good nail brush every day when you shower, whatever you'd use the nail brush. Scrub scrub scrub, and then you put a nice little cuticle oil on your computer. And you're good. And you can cut, obviously. But you're good. That means your nails will look good enough that you can do the hand modeling. Have you maintained this toilet? I still do this, yes, every morning. I get lax on it. And she lets me know because we have all of that stuff here with that being her personal. She does manicures. I remember when I first met her, she was like, she looked first at my nails and commented on that before it was amazing. I had just had them done. My pockets. He's done my nails, actually. When she was a manicure shop down here, I went down got my nails done. Now who would think? Who would think this would be our topic? The story today. I don't know how we got here. Harley, you know what our lead story should be good by flock. Flock you. I got to say hello to flock. Yeah, Google says, and I think this is really an interesting story. Said yesterday, they were going to replace as you remember, they had announced no more third party cookies. Everybody hates them good. That's fine. But we do need some way to sell targeted advertising. So we're going to have the Federated learning of cohorts, which was a kind of retro nim, awkward name, because everything in this area had birds, birds seemed. So this flock would essentially watch what you do, what you just the same way as Google always did. But instead of having a unique identifier for you, they would put you in a cohort of people with similar interests. They never really explained how big this cohort would be. But the thing that I think upset people was then when you go to a website, you're flock cohort would be sent to the website like hi. Here's Leo, he's 39 94 7. And people didn't really like that. It wasn't clear how big the cohort would be. I think there's also it's funny because they're in trouble with the EU. Our favorite heavy has sued them for ending cookies. Yeah, yeah. Trigger is the one who led the fight against Google. Use their political clout, got the EU to go after Google. Everybody's screaming. Privacy privacy doctor should start get rid of cookies they are evil. And then after sprinkles, oh, we can't target any ads. No, don't get rid of cookies. That's very confusing. The EFF did not like flock because there was this concern that as always with these things that are so called anonymized, it's possible that D anonymized. And they were a little worried that if people started combine your flock ID with other profile information, they might actually be able to figure out who's who and all of that. So Google has, I think, in response to the EU, I don't know really in response to privacy advocates. I think there was a lot of reasons because a lot of people were unhappy with flock and coming up with topics. Topics. It was just a proposal. I mean, they never implemented it. It was only invaded. So now it's topics. Topics is topics. Topics. So Ben galbraith, who's direct senior director for product, acknowledged privacy concerns with flux said topics was easier for users to understand. It would also make it easier for Google to remove sensitive topics from being targeted. So topics,.

"Beatings everyone and welcome to Asian America that can find podcasts where our mission continues to be to invite Asian American culture makers and shapers to share their stories with us. And as always, I'm your host Ken fong. Welcome to episode number 343. My guess this week is Lod young, a French Canadian actress, best known for playing Electra nachos in season two of marvel's Netflix series daredevil, and the Netflix miniseries, the defenders. I'm gonna make a bold prediction. I believe that from now on, she'll be most known for bringing a Cambodian character to life on a new Fox TV series called the cleaning lady, which debuts on January 3rd, 2022. You do not want to miss this, and I am so, so thrilled and honored that she agreed to come on this podcast. This is the first podcast she's ever been a guest on. And you will absolutely be impressed and excited about her and this new series in just a few minutes when you listen to our conversation. I must confess that back in episode 339 when I was interviewing Scott okamoto, I had a brain fart. I think I'm having more of those lately, as I get closer and closer to turning 67 on December 29th. Anyway, I said in conversation with Scott, that black and most Asian American people clap on the two and four beats and white folks in general, a clap on the one and three, and the truth is it's actually the opposite of that. So I stand corrected. I started the Patreon account in January of this year. And by the end of the first month, I had $34 in monthly pledges, which is much better than nothing. Well, as of December 24th, we are now getting a $126 a month, which is a $92 month increase. And I can't begin to thank all of you who have been patrons from the very first month. To those of you like leet, who just joined recently, thank you so very much. You have made so many improvements possible, and you have definitely helped lift the burden of keeping this show going. So thank you so very much. And for those of you out there who love this show, but you've yet to take the yearend challenge, I just want to remind you that we have a little less than a week left to the end of 2021 where you can go to Patreon dot com and look for Asian American they can find podcasts. And you can become one of my patrons too. Thank you so very much for giving this some consideration. As we approach Christmas, I was thinking the other day of one of my most memorable Christmas gifts. And the reason why it's memorable is probably going to catch you a little by surprise. I was probably in 5th or 6th grade, not quite yet in middle school. And this was the year when transistor radios were just becoming a thing, okay? So does that kind of help fix win this was in recent history. So we started getting presidents brought to our House by our relatives. And like most kids, I would lie under the tree when no one was looking. And no one was in the living room. And I would find the presence with my name on them. And I would try so hard not to disturb the tape or the wrapping, but to get a peek at what some of these treasures were. I can't honestly say that I was hoping to get a transistor radio. But when I found the president from uncle Frank, and I was able to jiggle the paper hound. I could see on the cover of this box that was about 6 inches long by maybe three inches wide. That there was a picture of photograph of a ivory colored plastic transistor radio with one of those kind of slide rule dials. And it was in somebody's shirt pocket on the cover of this box. And on top of the pocket that had the radio was this about a two inch round black and white button of the head of Frankenstein. Anyway, I still see that whole image in my head. So Christmas morning comes, we're opening our presence. I couldn't let on to anyone that I had taken a peek and I knew what was in this one. But I didn't have to feed excitement. I was genuinely excited when I pulled that little baby out of the box. My uncle Frank was thoughtful enough to include a 9 Volt battery in there, so able to plug in the headphones, listen through the tinny speaker and you know we're in business. But I searched the rest of the box. And remember, this is not a big box, but I searched the rest of the box in vain for that Frankenstein button. You know, there's not a lot to it. In those days, they didn't have like the little foam corners to make room underneath for an instruction booklet and all of that. It's just basically the radio lying in this thin cardboard box. You probably got it at RadioShack. I probably was obsessing about the missing button for at least the next two weeks. To this day, I still remember being disappointed as thrilled as I was to get this transition radio. I remember being disappointed that it didn't come with that button. Did they forget to put the button in there? And you know, I didn't share this with any grown-ups, my parents or answer uncles or whatever, because I'm sure if I would have shared my disappointment, they would have quickly told me dude. That's just a picture they took to promote the product of the radio on the cover, there was no implied promise that you would get a Frankenstein button too. Okay, but because I didn't share that with anybody. I didn't get that explanation. And so even after the two weeks passed, I would still catch myself as I'm enjoying listening to my a.m. radio stations or we're taking it to a ball game and I got my earphones in and I'm listening to whoever's calling the game. Even with all of that, I found myself a little wistful that I didn't have that Frankenstein, but you know sometimes we get our hopes up. We set our expectation bar and it's not based in what's really going on. It's not based in reality. But until we get that checked when our hopes are dashed and when our expectations aren't met, we still experience disappointment. I think back now to my younger self and as much as it might have been painful to hear that explanation from some grown-up in my life, maybe even from my big sister, dude. This thing does not come with a button. As hard as that would have been to hear in the moment because I really wanted that button, I thought it was so cool. I could have just dropped it and moved on. As we get near the end of this year, I wonder if some of us were hoping that we'd be way past this pandemic by now. There would be no new variant. As we look at what has happened or what hasn't happened in our personal lives in our work lives this year, maybe we're ending this year with a pretty deep level of disappointment and dissatisfaction. Maybe, not always not saying this is always the case. Maybe some of our disappointment is because it was based in something that was never real in the first place. I know that if I'm ever in a gift shop, somewhere in the world. And I see a button with Frankenstein monster hit on it. My first instinct will be to buy it. Of course I don't have that transistor radio anymore. And who in the world would want that, right? But that button. That button would last a lot longer than that technology. Anyway, thanks for listening this year. And I know you're going to really enjoy this episode, where I talk to LOD young, who is.

Now, in this case, it's not your normal business avatar where you walk into McDonald's and it takes your order. It's about somebody becoming somebody else. Somebody who sings in the background and thanks to technology can become something else on the screen. Alter ego is a good look into what AI based avatar technology is about to become. AI powered avatars are about to take over many tasks that most people don't want to do anymore. Most people don't want to handle how easy is it to find a banker, a real estate agent in the middle of the night, getting somebody to help you with just menial things. The menial service industry task that nobody wants to pay for, nobody wants to do if you can have a smartphone or a computer screen, or a jumbotron at a concert, you can see AI happening. Today's intro was 40 minutes long, then we got to the question. So here's how we talk opened the episode. We start out by talking about sarcoplasmic hypertrophy, studies. There was actually a study that showed that in the first 6 weeks of training, most of the muscle growth that happens is from the increase in sarcoplasm. Don't know what that is. Listen to this episode and we'll explain it to you. Then we talk about a new show about to be on Fox TV called alter ego. Is this the future of entertainment? I hope not. We talked about Succession, another great show, and then Justin brought up the new Batman starring his favorite actor. He actually has a poster of them in his bedroom. Yeah, glitter vampire. "Okay now we gotta go to audience questions because people had so many fun questions so connie and said did you watch any of the original episodes during the process of. That's interesting yes. I didn't i but then i saron and i just started talking about it and i realized that i could find them and so i watched a bunch and i thoroughly enjoyed it. Some of writers really got into watching it like watched a lot of the old fantasy island. They'd come in the next day and talk about it so that was really fun. That's really fun okay. An had three sort of Lightning round questions okay. So what are the things. Okay so many people did right in about the evil donut. Bring your there is literally an evil done at bringer I will put a photo in the show notes for anyone who wants to see a shot of the guy holding out the lushest box of donuts. Yes was was that. Did you feel like okay. We have to actually show the evil done bringing opposite gas for the. I mean we've talked about it so much now. I mean it had to fit the story. Obviously but yes that was that was meant to delight. listeners. Oh well i. I laughed out loud when i saw that. Now one of the most iconic things in the iconic show fantasy island is when the number two tattoos says the plane. The plane How did you guys think about that phrase. We don't have that exact phrase and the pilot but we do have the plane. The plane plays a big part in the episode. In fact when fox sent out their press kits to reviewers it included a big blow up raft plane which is really great. Oh my gosh. that's so smart so yes. The plane is definitely present in the series and the last question is was the dragon role. Liz's choice you know. What gretchen i do not remember. I have no idea. This was sarah me all the time. We have no idea where things came from. And that's one. That very likely could have been mind but it could not have been mine. This is funny. Sarah wrote so cool to see how you modernized it from the original when writing this show specifically are you pulling content from your life. How do you decide what stories to play out. And is it. Just me or could roselyn sanchez. And sandra bullock be sisters. I didn't realize who she was reminding. The of until i saw that she does look a little bit like sandra bullock. Yes sarah. I have have comment on that Between us many times. Oh it's interesting. Well like as. I mentioned the story in the pilot was somewhat inspired by my sister-in-law olivia. So we do pull things from our own lives. There's a story in the second episode a couple swaps body. So it's like a freaky friday with a couple. Yeah another episode features of women who feels invisible and that was very much inspired by one of our executives Talking about family member who was feeling invisible so this requires a lot of conversation. And it's a lot of interesting conversation because you're really talking about your visceral needs as we say and what emotionally really resonates so A lot of it comes from our lives. That's interesting and then i have to mention one that comes straight from sarah who is an only parents We have a mom who's fantasy is to rest and that came directly from sarah fain. Yeah yeah vanessa said do we need to have watched any of the original series in order to fully enjoy yours. I'm wondering about character. Storyline continuations in jokes easter eggs. Etcetera i am so excited to watch. Thank you vanessa. You absolutely do not ever need to have seen the original. No no there are certain. Easter eggs like elena rourke and our fantasy island wears a white suit and sometimes she also wears white dresses lots of outfits. But mr rogin always wore a white suit and he had a red jeep. She has a red jeep so there are things like that. But you do not need to have seen the original whatsoever. And amy asked what is the best and the most challenging aspect of a distance. Location shoot good question. Well the most challenging is definitely being away from family. That's everyone yes. The best part of it is just being able to shoot things. You could never shoot in los angeles. Just wouldn't have gotten the show that we got here. Yeah we had to go to a tropical islands as beautiful as as california is yes. It's gorgeous monop- it's not right for this show and so the best part is really just being able to as we like to say point the camera shoot phrase that comes up again and again just point the camera and shoot and that's really what we did.

I know you do. Manifested was lee jordan. Yes incomparable as leader. We should just say. We interviewed him in episode. Three twenty two. And like do yourself a favor and go. Listen to leslie jordan because one is more fun to listen to. He's so delightful. What's funny gretchen is. I am one of the five million people who started following the actor leslie jordan during the pandemic he's a southern actor who just started posting during the pandemic and everyone fell in love with him. He's like in his sixties. He's just got this air about him that you just y over here and talk. Yeah very funny and So as soon as we were doing fantasy island. I loved the fantasy island. The original was known for having big guest stars and we also wanted to have big ass stars. And we're going to have leslie jordan. We have jordan on the show. And then when you and i interviewed him i bike my first thing i said to him was i want to mention to you that i'm in puerto rico doing fantasy island and you are one of our dream guest stars and he was like okay. Well i'm open to it and grin what happened is i just kept pushing and pushing and talking to our Casting director and fox. Of course everyone was very interested in having him just the logistics and everything yes disease you know such a big presence and so we actually had to send him a write up of a synopsis of his story to see if he was interested in doing it because of course he is in much demand right now and he responded to it and he said he wanted to do it and what was fun is that we were really able to write for him and the thing is we were like if this doesn't work out we're in trouble because we a hundred percent wrote for him and nobody else like him so who you get to play. This is one of a hard happen but he did happen and he was so wonderful gretchen. When i met him he had a bread up on. Sarran me knew about us growing up in kansas city and he spent time in kansas city When he was really actor so i mean he was just delightful Well that's so fun that you could make again like little things in your in your own experience coming from coming to make this show better you know one other interesting tidbit about the leslie. Jordan episode is episode one. Oh eight And adam road. At adam fierro husbands oh episode and that was his episodes. Leslie yes okay so you have to talk about what it was like to work with your husband like that yes. I was really nervous about it on many levels As you can imagine. I was very hesitancy about doing it just because i said to him while you're going to have to take notes for me like you know. We're not like a wife show runner. But i have worked together before we works We met shields the show the shield so i obviously i know he's a great writer but you know it's just a weird dynamic and then quarrying him in with all of the writers. I didn't want them to feel weird about it. Yeah so you can just see the dynamics at play. But sarah thought it would be fine and fox and sony fans of atoms writing. Well she's worked with him. To and sarah has worked with him as well. Yes that helps so we said well. Let's just go for it and it turned out to be really fun and it was really nice because i was so ensconced in the show that it was really wonderful to have adam be a part of it just spending time together and just gave him an interest in it and of an investment in it so that was fun but it did crack me up just seeing him with the other writers. You know it was just funny. It's different now that we've been married thirteen years to see him in a room so it was really nice. Jamie and i worked together briefly at the federal communications commission and it is interesting. It's like you see them in context and it kind of in a different context but one thing that's nice jamie and i have a lot of mutual friends from them. And i think it's because we sort of got double bonding to both worked with them and so it it does But it does feel like it could be tricky. But but but yeah. It's it's certainly interesting. Yes well just speaking of managing relationships. I mean one of the things that you had to do. A lot of was just to manage the the inevitable conflict. That happens when there's a lot of people doing a lot of work in a short amount of time and they all have their own separate responsibilities which to them are the most important and they don't always full together. How is that process. You know what really helped me. Gretchen is on this podcast. I'm one of our listeners. Wrote in about the term cussing in discussing we read. Her boss would say at the beginning of a meeting where he knew that people were gonna have really strong opinions and that those opinions were going all match hunt so it really helped me to sort of. I said at times to director. And sarah and i both started saying this chip producers like okay. This is one of those cussing in discussing times because we had a lot of it was a struggle challenge. The show at very tight tight schedule. So we were never done anything in such compressed. Neither anyone on the show right precedent. Really well i isn't it. I mean i don't know. But i i know that fast. Yeah anyway so we. We have a lot of conflicts and so it very much help to keep it light for me in my mind. Think of it as cussing in discussing. We always say that like a sense of humor is so helpful. It's hard to remember to use a sense of humor. And if you have a phrase that can kinda help you access that mindset. Yeah i will say that many of us broke down crying at one point or another on this show. I can think of at least five people who had their moments. It was hard you know then happens. We got past it. Well one of the things you wanted to do this year was to do a show another thing that you wanna do. Your one theme is butterfly and speaking of challenges. You had a major butterfly thing you were going to do. And it didn't work out yes. I was going to be a social butterfly and hosts a real premier party for fantasy island in our backyard. Chuck going to do the tech. He was had all of ready to go to show the premier outside on a big screen Of the whole thing and then due to the cova variance Sarah and i decided that we just couldn't do it. So that was a big disappointment and gretchen Episode two twenty two of happier and hollywood. Um which is sarah. And i have a long discussion about that decision. And how we feel about it so that was a real drag but i have to put it in context with everything that's happened to so many people during this pandemic me not being able to have a party is probably not a big deal. But it's one of those things we like. I was living up to my one word. You still get credit. I you you put in. You tried you tried you tried..

Fauci says Trump campaign is "harassing" him with unauthorized ad
"Before we get back to the calls. I want to talk to you a little bit about Ah little riff between Donald Trump. And Dr Fauci. So there's a trump campaign ad that has been serving surfacing over the course of the last week or so, and there's a piece of audio from doctor found she that the Trump campaign has used. I want you to listen to this very carefully listening part of this Trump Trump campaign ad with Dr Fauci. We saw the the language online go very, very concerned. Okay, so that's the wrong audio. We want to play. Part of the Donald Trump campaign ad featuring Dr Harrison and Trump tackled the virus head on leaders. Okay. So is that is that the cut? Okay, So let me let me give you a little bit of background again before we play the cut. That was the wrong cut. So As the Trump campaign was playing this ad. As I've said, it's been circulating over the course of the last week, and this is Dr Fauci, not Governor Whitmore. We don't want to play that We want to play Doctor Fauci. Taken out of context, and I'll explain why here it is. Have a listen to this. President Trump tackled the virus head on as leaders should imagine that anybody could be doing President Trump is recovering from the Corona virus, and so is America. Okay, so that audio was Dr Fauci is saying? I can't imagine anybody doing more. They used Dr Fauci in this campaign ad, but I want to play for you. The entire audio. Or at least that part where Trump used in the campaign at Dr Fauci was interviewed in March of 2020. The person that was interviewing him is Mark Levin of Courses on Kwun from 3 to 6. So he interviewed Mark Levin interviewed Dr Fauci first Fox TV show, which is every week listened to the entire context of that quote. I have been devoting Almost full time on this almost full time. I'm down at the White House virtually every day with the task force. I'm connected by phone. Throughout the day and into the night when I say night I'm talking 12 12 in the morning. I'm not the only one. There's a whole group of us that are doing that. It's every single day so I can imagine. Get that under any circumstances that anybody could be trying, doing more as you can see the context of that He's talking about the scientists and the doctors in the task force. He's not talking about Donald Trump, but they took his comment completely out of context. No. I've never heard doctor found she this upset. Clearly he's frustrated because they took his comment out of context for political person purposes in the Trump campaign at So Donald Trump. Excuse me. Doctor found she appeared on CNN on Sunday and was asked if the campaign should take down that ad. You know, I think so, Jake. I think it's really unfortunate and really disappointing that they did that. It's so clear that I'm not a political person, and I have never either directly or indirectly endorsed the political candidate. And to take it completely out of context statement and put it in which is obviously a political campaign. And I I thought was really very disappointing. What would you say if I told you I heard that the Trump campaign was actually preparing to do another ad featuring you? You know, that would be terrible. I mean, that would be outrageous. If they do that, in fact, that might actually come back to backfire on them. I hope they don't do that, because that's that would be kind of playing a game. We don't want to play Esso. I hope they reconsider that, if, in fact, they are indeed considering doing that. I hope that they reconsider and not do that.

Houston Astros criticized over their apology in sign-stealing scandal
"The Houston Astros or the Donald Trump of baseball teams. Both are orange and both cheat. Donald Trump is also always banging on about rigged witch-hunts perfect phone calls and the Russia hoax. The Astros are always banging about two one sliders and three to curve balls. If you haven't been following the baseball scandal the Houston Astros used cameras to steal signs from opposing catchers and related the signals to their hitters via a banging scheme. What was called in the official reports the banking scheme they'd bang on a trash can to alert hitters of what pitch was coming. Boom Boom Curve Ball bum-bum-bum-bum-bum-bum-ba fastball. This prompted their owner in a bit of perform of penance to issue. These two statements within moments of each other as the Astros began spring training yesterday. This didn't impact the game. And then I. I didn't say it didn't impact the game. But the fascinating trump astros parallels. Do not end there. I mean I mentioned the Orange Right. That's the real clincher. So play without integrity. Cheat you win the trophy. We're sorry respectively by. We're GONNA move on the ring. The bonus checks and bunch of cheaters. Yeah and now. We're moving on. We'RE NOT GONNA get stuck in this and you better move along with us. That's right you know. We're moving along. Yeah it's baseball. Says it's okay to cheat. You still get the trophy. Yeah still you're sorry is baseball too. I mean you can't be in any sport baseball all American Apple Pie. It's our game you know. Geez it's there you go there you go there you go. Houston THE ASTROS. Finally responding not with a lot of details but with a lot of apologies and statements about moving forward. Okay let's talk about moving forward. Are the Astros now concerned? That other teams will start targeting their hitters as a form of payback. Now worried about the can't speak to how guys are are are going to handle things or what they're going to do. I'm not worried about what I can't control what I can control is that I'm sorry about the choices that were made and they even buttress it with a poll right now. Most of you are saying it. Eighty two percent yes. Let's move on what this tells me. Is that for all the worry that were slipping into autocracy which is not a ridiculous worry for all the talk of The nefarious undermining of democracy the basic driving force with the trump scandal and this scandal is just human. Cognition tribalism motivated reasoning playing to the base. Of course it's not a perfect analogy between the presidency and because in baseball the UMPIRES who are tasked with meting out punishment. Well they don't face primary challenges in November

Arbitrator Finds 21st Century Fox Defrauded Producers of 'Bones'
"Really interesting story about the show bones. It's off TV, but the bones drama lives on an arbitrator has found that the twenty first Century Fox TV studio, defrauded the creative team behind bones, including the stars, Emily day Chanel, and David I can't say his last name Nass angel. Yeah. Boreanaz. Okay. And the producers of the show, and they have a one hundred and seventy eight point seven million dollars in damages that they're going to be given. Wow. The reason why is because the FOX network and Hulu accompanied that they owned by twenty first Century, Fox. They violated a contract clause requiring that the terms of any deal met comparible monetary terms that they had to basically pay them similar shows will they cancelled it and basically put it on who in their favor financially. And so this did not benefit the stars or the producers, so they kind of negotiated to. They're just a dumb it down here. They will go she ate it to where it was in their financial favor, but didn't really care about this show in general. And so that's really one of the first times that this is being brought to light in. So now, they're going to be looking at other shows on whether or not they're doing this. Or did this with multiple networks, not just this network, but the ramifications for other shows in the future here big
