Political Commentator Jason Watters Describes New Book 'How I Saved the World'

"Second Listen let me get right to your book because I loved it I was I got a copy got it early It talks about your time at Fox News from the beginning And listen I find this really hilarious I was looking through the book review It says that you divine quote great truths about the nature of our country while stumbling across beaches asking oblivious college students basic political questions Please if you could expound a bit on that Well one of the great truth I divine just by calling in within one second was because I have to cheat my wife when we have dinner reservations I have to say we have reservations at 7 when they're really at 7 30 But then they get kicked to that But then I've tried that with my wife but that may get hit to that stunt Then you have to back it down another ride No no really 6 30 I know that trick So tell it though tell us about the book It's a great book I found it hilarious Everything from the mom to eats to your time with man on the street interviews Really it's an interesting story of not just you but the whole media environment I know that the title of the book how I save the world is you know meant to be funny but it's a really interesting book So yeah so I used to be dispatched to all of these liberal precincts all across the country New beaches San Francisco Washington D.C. spring break And I would interview liberals in their natural habitat And what I found was that they are very insecure people whose lives lack meaning And in order to make up for that lack of meaning they project all of their insecurities onto the rest of us And they do that through control They do that through controlled and they do that through division And that's just in order to assuage their guilt and so they have someone to blame Because deep down Dan you know they believe this country was founded on inequality and racism And they need to be able to make up for that So they need to just demolish the country And they need to be in charge of remaking the country in a way that they see as just and fair Is it just and fair No of course not It's the same thing that's happening in Cuba You give up a little bit of your freedom in exchange for a life of comfort but it never works out all they do is control you and they dominate you And they try to just get into all of your life's little secrets and just nag the hell out of you until you say okay enough already And that's what they're doing right now They're just nagging us to death And enough is enough Sometimes you just have to act like a parent you're a parent You just say no Knock it off We're not doing this anymore And that's what this country lacks a little bit of a

Jonah Goldberg and Stephen Hayes Resign From Fox News

"Know there's a conservative crack up going on inside the beltway as Jonah Goldberg and Stephen Hayes have departed from Fox News. There's a story at the American spectator about addition by subtraction at Fox News with which I disagree. Molly Hemingway quotes from it approvingly. Molly is a good friend as his mark. Byron York works with both Jonah and Steven Jonah longtime friend of the show, Stephen a's used to be. He drops a nuclear bomb on my head a couple of years ago that I didn't see coming, but I don't know what that's all about. Byron York works with everybody and apparently amicably like I try to do as I quote tamale Lincoln's first inaugural. We are not enemies. We must not be enemies, but friends, Byron, what is going on? Well, good morning you. My official position in all of this is that I wish everyone well. Yeah, you and I pretty much adopt the same view on beltway, penda tree. Yeah, well, what can I say? You're a Fox News contributor. Do you have a conflict? I don't want to put you in a bad spot. No, I am a Fox News contributor. I have been since 2006. And I've been happy to be Fox News. So I think that that's my story right there. And by the way, I am an NBC News contributor though I've been exiled and they're about to breach my deal. I don't know why, but I've been exiled. So who knows what's going on inside of network executives trying to figure out their audiences? I think this all comes down to trying to find your audience and keep them happy. Well, I mean, there's always been this a lot of commentary about thoughts about having almost being like the old broadcast entertainment networks. In the sense that they had the news division and then they had entertainment programming. So people said, well, the prime time program on Fox is kind of like the entertainment programming and the special report and approximately Sunday in the whole daytime, really are all about the news division. I think that's unfair because a lot of news is made during prime time on Fox. But clearly it's opinion driven and clearly Steve and Jonah became increasingly uncomfortable with the prime time programming. So I am not sure what to say beyond

Firm Tied to Hunter Biden Brokered $3.8B Deal for Cobalt Mines to Chinese Company

"Hunter Biden's firm helped Chinese company purchase rich cobalt mine in $3.8 billion deal. In investment firm that counts Hunter Biden among founder, its founders helped the Chinese company purchase one of the world's most lucrative cobalt mines from an American company. Biden established the firm, bohai harvest RST, equity investment fund management, with two other Americans and some Chinese partners in 2013. Hear that? Hunter Biden? Started a firm with Chinese partners in 2013. No, no, no, but hey, the real problem? Is moms and Grand Junction that show up at school board meetings? Who get their entire house searched by FBI agents? The American members controlled 30% of the Shanghai based operation and served on the board. I'm reading from Fox News dot com. The company notably completed a deal in 2016 that saw a Congo cobalt and copper mine transfer from an American company to a Chinese outfit. For the sum of $2.65 billion. Bhr served as a minority stakeholder to buy out around $1.1 billion of shares from London mining of Canada, who owned a portion of the Congo mine. Chris Clark, a lawyer for Biden, says he no longer holds any interest directly or indirectly in either VHR or scans. But Chinese business records reviews reviewed by Fox News in April 2021 showed that Hunter Biden continued to hold a 10% Chinese private equity firm stake in ball high harvest RST equity investment fund management through hunters, company.

If Waukesha Suspect Darrell Brooks Was White, Leftist Media's Take Would Be Drastically Different

"Cut 12 Fox News reporting on the Christmas parade in Waukesha cut 12. Fox News alert. We are awaiting a news conference this hour from a Wisconsin children's hospital where at least 18 children are being treated following the deadly incident at a Christmas parade outside Milwaukee. 5 people were killed and more than 40 injured after an SUV tore through the crowd. Foxes told police have taken in 39 year old Daryl Brooks as a person of interest. Brooks has an extensive criminal history and we could learn more when we get an update from police later this afternoon. Extensive criminal history. If mister Brooks was white, it would be wall to wall coverage. Nonstop, focusing on his skin color. People would already have to be apologizing, in fact, all the woke pastors out there, they would already being sermons on how we need to heal our racial divide. But instead, because Daryl Brooks, the black supremacist terrorist is black, I don't really know how the media is explaining this one. They say, oh, he was fleeing the scene of a crime. It's perfectly understandable, then. You know what? Honestly, it was racist for the parade to get in the way of his getaway scheme. That was the problem. The problem is that the color guard and the marching band, how dare they? Get in the way. Of his getaway. Didn't they know that criminals need? Open roads and streets to be able to flee the scenes of a crime?

America's Political Left Explodes After Kyle Rittenhouse Acquitted

"A moment. Of course, the other big breaking story that happened after we left you Friday, Kyle rittenhouse found not guilty on all counts. And again, the beast is wounded. If you're a new listener, I call the media, I call academics. I call Hollywood. I call the I call the big media machine, the Democrats. I call them the beast. And sometimes the beast gets injured and the beast houses in protest because the race baders over on MSNBC didn't like the outcome. They had a very predictable response. Here's one of their stars at MSNBC, despicable, despicable response by a woman named Tiffany cross. Ellie, I'm disgusted at what I'm saying. It's not just this trial. It's other trials, but this in particular, the fact that white supremacists roam the halls of Congress freely and celebrate this little murderous white supremacist and the fact that he gets to walk the streets freely, it lets you know these people have access to instituting laws. They represent legislative branch of this country. What are we to make of that? She's given a camera and a microphone and a platform to be on national television, and she spews that kind of bile of just just garbage. That little white supremacist are you kidding me? And it got even worse, consider her guest. Ely miss stall. This happened because this is what the white justice system was designed to do, all right? This is not a miscarriage of justice. This is justice working as intended for white people. And the way you know that is because of the judge. The reason why I was able to predict that was because of the judge. The judge was in the tank from the defendant from the jump. I mean, literally before the trial, he was making motions and making rulings in favor of rittenhouse. He continued that bias throughout the trial. That's without even getting into his maga ring tones without even getting into his off color Asian jokes. Not even getting into all of that, his actual decision making favored the defendant the entire time. By you. I can't even get angry at this anymore. I feel nothing but pity for these pathetic, pathetic people. I honest to goodness. I do. I feel sorry for them. You know, if a jury verdict came down, and the shoe was on the other foot, and it was a black kid. Accused or on trial for shooting white people. Oh my gosh. If anybody on Fox News or newsmax or what America news or the Salem radio network or sale of news channel, dared to say one tenth of what those people say about this white kid in Kenosha, all hell would break loose. All hell would break loose. These people are to be pitied,

World Media Thought Kyle Rittenhouse Shot 3 Black People... He Did Not

"Do you know that the world media thought that Kyle rittenhouse shot three black guys? You come somebody a white supremacist, you must assume that he's targeting black people, right? Listen to Glenn greenwald, on Fox News the other night, talking he lives in Brazil interestingly enough. So when you see Glenn greenwald, the independent journalist on Tucker Carlson are on TV. He's coming to you from, I think Rio de Janeiro, but not mistaken. He doesn't live here in the United States. He watches the world media. Listen to Glenn greenwald's analysis of the way the world media covered the Kyle rittenhouse case. If you rely on the media, you should feel betrayed, you know, I'm somebody before I was a journalist who worked as a lawyer inside courtrooms for more than a decade. So I knew that it's very difficult to cast a judgment about an event this complex without seeing the evidence at trial. So I waited before forming a judgment. And when I did sit down to watch the trial, I was infuriated that everything I had been taught to believe about what happened here by the media was radically different than the facts of the case as they developed. And Dan, I don't know if you've seen this, but multiple media outlets around the world, like the biggest ones in Brazil in Holland in the UK have all repeatedly reported that the people that Kyle rittenhouse killed were black because they were misled by the American media who kept saying this was a white supremacist on a terrorist hunt and therefore they naturally presumed because they were deceived also by the American media that his victims were black. Isn't that incredible that actual media outlets around the world reported that Kyle rittenhouse shot black people? The three people he shot were white.

This Is What Makes Charlie Hopeful for the Future

"You asked the question, are you hopeful? I am hopeful about a couple things. So let me tell you what I'm hopeful about. And it's less about politics and it's more just about attitude and it's also about durability. And so after Biden was implemented, not elected. He was an implemented president, by the way. After Biden was implemented, we very well could have engaged in self pity. And self pity as Dennis has taught so many people throughout the years is a really bad starting point for anything constructive. We could have we could have set up, they had $420 million from Zuckerberg. You know, they spent all this money, mail in ballots, the country's over. But instead, you know, the regime called all of us domestic terrorists. They still do. They thought they could pummel us in the submission. They thought in March of this last year, we'd say, okay enough. Let's make Liz Liz Cheney the head of the Republican Party. Or we'll bring mit Romney back. And the fact you're laughing, greens me great joy. It does because we know that's a ridiculous idea. What happened was the opposite. What happened was because of how parents were exposed to their kids education during the Fauci virus. Parents across the country, all of a sudden, in a way they never expected the other side never expected got intimately involved in education policy and the education fights. And through March and April and May, all of a sudden we saw the most robust authentic and quite honestly sometimes messy political movement that still has traction and growing today, as moms and dads showing up to school board meetings across the country. And so you ask, am I hopeful? Our homeschooling population has doubled in the last 18 months. That gives me hope, doubled. We have twice as many people in homeschool. We did our campus tour at turning point USA. We can't find rooms big enough to be able to fit all the students that want to hear us talk on campus. And so I'll be honest that I think that politicians are largely a waste of time. I do. I think that we need to give them very short, easy to understand to instructions that they have to follow. And if they don't, we have to replace them and mostly we have to keep the pressure on Republicans, but our energy everybody has to be less about voting and kind of the palace intrigue and this. Are you showing up to school board meetings? Are you showing up to city council meetings? Are you homeschooling your kids? Are you showing up locally? Because honestly, for the last 20 years or at least the last 5 years like Charlie, I bought the pillow, I watched Fox News. I did everything I was supposed to do. And it's like, that's not enough. You have to, you have to do more. So I'm hopeful 'cause the people are tougher, stronger and more committed than ever before and eventually the political leaders will

"I keep thinking about Jonathan turley's analysis of this prosecutor at the rittenhouse case. And I wonder if he's on to something. You think the guy is like a plant? For Kyle? I mean, you're going to call rioters heroes? You're going to call looters heroes. People assaulting cops, heroes, here was town hall, senior writer, Julio rosas. He does great work. We try to get this kid on a few weeks ago, but he was traveling. Or maybe I have interviewed him. He's really good. And he goes to a lot of these scenes where these so called peaceful protests are underway. Here is what Julio told Tucker Carlson last night on Fox News. I mean, Tucker, I'm not going to lie to you. I got pretty heated because I mean, yeah, I was out there that night. And to call this mob of rioters, heroes is just an absolute lie. I mean, think about it. Being a call this mob heroes when they were attacking the place where he works at. I mean, this just shows how ridiculous this trial has gotten. And I think it just highlights the fact that they never had a strong case to begin with, but they have to throw everything that they can. To try to save what case they have because throughout this entire trial, their own witnesses, their own supposed video evidence. Only served to bolster rittenhouse's claim to self defense. And as someone who was there that night, it's just very, very aggravating to just see someone lie to the jury in hopes to try to save what his save his case and potentially his career. Clown in a Suit: Rittenhouse Prosecutor Mocked Over Closing Claim Against Self-Defense

"The takeaway headline from yesterday's closing arguments in the Kyle rittenhouse case, which you the defense arguments you didn't hear if you were watching MSNBC. They opted not to carry the Kyle rittenhouse defense closing arguments. Can you I mean, I know you can believe it. But isn't that disgusting? Isn't that just sick? That that's how corrupt and bias they are. You know, you can not like Fox News because of the prime time shows or the conservatives who appear on Fox News. They never pull stunts like that. They carry it at all, prosecutors closing arguments, defense attorneys, the judge, how about the prosecutor? How about this doozy? Now, I'm gonna bet that some of the jurors from Kenosha Wisconsin believe in the Second Amendment and cherish the right to keep and bear arms. And probably do so. I don't know the makeup of the jury. 18 men and women, they're going to see 12 of them to deliberate, beginning today. Not sure how long it's going to take. Kenosha is boarded up, ready for a verdict. The phrase that resonated through social media last night about assisting assistant district attorney Thomas binger was clown in a suit. And I believe he earned that title honestly. They have to convince you that Joseph rosenbaum was going to take that gun and use it on the defendant because they know you can't claim self defense. Against an unarmed man like this. You lose the right to self defense when you're the one who brought the gun. When you're the one creating the damage, danger. When you're the one provoking other people. Really? Well, that's news to millions of people who own a gun for self defense.

"So there's a couple stories that I want to try to put together here. But the first and the most interesting story quite honestly. And it's interesting in a way that you might think is the sudden and unexpected. Kind of shade war and stories that were coming out against cami. Against Kamala Harris. So late on Sunday evening on the front page of CNN were at least 6 or 7 different stories. 6 or 7 separate stories. That we're covering how The White House is at odds with one another. On the front page of CNN dot com last evening, here's where the headlines were this. Harris struggles with her relationship with Biden. Vice president's team tries the distance herself from fraught situation at the border. Harris looks to turn page as she zeros in on voting rights. White House goes into damage control after reports of dysfunction in Kamala Harris's office. 5 stories against Kamala Harris on the front page of CNN dot com. Exasperation and dysfunction inside Kamala Harris's frustrating start as vice president. Now, this is not Fox News dot com. This is not zero hedge dot com. Is that breitbart dot com? This is CNN dot com. That is reporting this. Worn out by what they see as entrenched dysfunction, and a lack of focus Key West west wing aides have largely thrown up their hands at vice president Kamala Harris. And her staff deciding there simply isn't time to deal with them right now. Especially at the moment, when president Joe Biden faces quickly multiplying legislative and political concerns. I continues by saying defenders and people who came for Harris are getting frantic. When they're annoyed, some pass around recent onion stories, mocking her lack of substantive work, one with the headline, quote, White House urges Kamala Harris, the Senate computer all day in case emails come through. When they're depressed, they bat down the Aaron Sorkin style rumor that Biden might try to replace her by nominating her to a Supreme Court vacancy. That chatter has already reached the top levels of Biden orbit, according to one person who's heard it. She is perceived according to CNN dot com to be in a weak position. That top Democrats in and outside of Washington have begun to speculate privately. Her job as number two is to be helpful and supportive to the president and to take work on he asks and who asks her to be intelligence briefing. This is a multi page hit piece. "Now Here's this Catherine rampal from The Washington Post I mean this is just comical She's on Brian stelter's show the coffee boy there And stouter of course it's just a great scene doesn't understand any of this though right But she's talking about inflation and comically states that Joe Biden has almost no control on what happens with inflation which is really weird because let me read this to you This is an actual headline I'm not trying to be funny I'm not trying to be silly This is an actual New York Post headline Steve Nelson November 10th 2021 Biden concedes his COVID stimulus checks fueled spike in inflation President Biden wins they conceded that inflation's at a three decade high because quote people have more money now as a result of his $1.9 trillion COVID-19 stimulus legislation recognizing essential point made by people who are arguing against a nearly $2 trillion sequel So just to be clear folks Joe Biden himself is now admitting because his lies have become untenable Joe Biden is now admitting that his decision to engage in this bill is the so called infrastructure bill which is really a poor deal spill right Is causing the inflation crisis because they had to print a lot of money to pay for it But here's the media bringing the righty Jim get very Brown get Mariano out of the bullpen and her Sandman bring the right hand No I love Marietta comparing him to these idiots It's an insult to the great Mariano right Bring it we gotta think of a really bad reliever in the past Bring in There we go there's a Rivera was one of the good guys Think of like bringing turd Ferguson out of the bullpen Bring it to the right Turn Ferguson time Here he comes out of the bullpen We have Ricky Vaughn before they put the glasses on Just a bit outside Here they are Here's the media to the rescue out of the bullpen Catherine rampal say no Biden's got nothing to do with it despite the fact Biden already admitted that their printing a bunch of money has a lot to do with it Check this out My general view about all of this is that the media Republicans and now The White House are laboring under the collective delusion that the president can do something about prices that the president controls prices That is incorrect And yet that is the premise of so much news coverage right now whether it's Fox News or other right wing coverage talking about hashtag Biden or saying you know why is Biden not doing more about gas prices or even more ostensibly more neutral or objective news organizations asking officials at The White House Why aren't you doing something about inflation He is all ready admitted the

"And today I get to talk to the author of a book called the president and the freedom fighter, Abraham Lincoln Frederick Douglass and their battle to save America soul. And the author of the book is someone you may know, named Brian kilmeade, Brian, you look very familiar. Eric, thanks so much for your support over the years. Every time I have a book out, you always say come down to this cathedral. And this place is the nicest studio I've ever seen. Period. Thank you very much. Look, this, I think I told you this. And by the way, people, if you're just tuning in, this guy has been on Fox and Friends for how many years now? 25. Radio show for 13. Well, hold on a second. Did you just say 25? Yeah, I started doing it in junior high. I thought so. Yeah, it was crazy. Playing pop Warner football and they grabbed you. It took me 12 years to be to get to Fox. And then once I got there, I realized how great it was, even though no one had heard of it yet. So when it started, I started filling in as a sports guy, and then it evolved and things started going crazy from the war from the election mess to the war on terror to the Iraq War. First election mess. Failure to a 2000 Chad hanging chads. Yes. So you are the youngest living institution in the country. Seriously, that's amazing 25 years from the beginning. Yeah, I mean, I knew when I walked into that place who was going to be special, they were all about winning. They're all about substance. They're all about getting things done completion oriented. Every time they would be a negative story out, they would put their headline on the wall. I'm like, wow, they're not running for negative stories. They would laugh at being laughed at. These guys, this is like Bill Parcells. And the Giants before they were even 500. Until recently, I'm talking about the build ourselves just 25 years. Good

NSBA Coordinated With White House, DOJ Before Sending Notorious 'Domestic Terrorists' Letter

"The national school board association of America coordinated with The White House Department of Justice before sending notorious domestic terrorists letter. Fox News reports. Newly released internal emails. People that the national school board association coordinated with The White House and Department of Justice before sending Biden the notorious letter that compared concerned parrots to domestic terrorists. Viola Garcia, the national school board association president, whom the Department of Education later named to a federal board sent a memo to the national school board association of America on October 11th. Providing a timeline of the national school board association's interaction with The White House ahead of the letter to Biden, which the national school board association sent on September 29th. Concern over the current climate for school board members is also a top priority as disruptions at school board meetings grow and members face growing threats, Garcia wrote, the national school board association of America is actively engaged with The White House from justice and Department of Homeland Security and Department of Education Surgeon General and other federal agencies on pandemic issues. But here's the most important thing, is that on September 14th, 2021, the nspo a organization of state directors, they were informed that they had a meeting with The White House. And subsequently on September 17th, the interim executive director emailed noticed to the state association executive directors that indicated a letter requesting federal assistance would be sent. In response to the letter sent by NSPA, on October 4th, 2021, the attorney general announced in a memorandum, widely shared throughout the U.S. Department of Justice that he was ordering all U.S. attorney officers and local FBI offices to reach out to local and state law enforcement officials to coordinate efforts on this problem within 30 days of the memorandum. This also contradicts what Merrick Garland said to Congress on October 27th. When dick Durbin asked Garland if he had second thoughts following the NSPA's apology for the letter, and Garland said quote, the letter that was subsequently sent does not change the association's concern of violence or threats of violence. It alters some of the language in the letter that we did not rely on is not contained in my own memorandum. So basically, here's what happened. Is you had collusion going on with the national school board association of America with The White House privately. They concocted this letter and then they sent the letter publicly that The White House had then the mandate to go to the Department of Justice to go say we now want to go spy on moms and dads, treat them like domestic terrorists and use the Patriot Act against people we don't

"The mob is already shed its sights on Kenosha. Police caught an unidentified person taking video of the Kyle rittenhouse jury. This comes days after a friend of George Floyd threatened to do just that on social media. George Floyd's friend, according to Fox News, somebody named Cortez rice who is sometimes referred to as George Floyd's nephew, put out a video on Twitter, claiming he knows people taking pictures and gathering information about the 18 men and women in the Kyle rittenhouse jury pool. Cortez said on the video, he didn't even want to name the people that I know is in the Kenosha trial, but there's cameras in there. There's definitely cameras up in there and there's definitely people taking pictures of the juries and everything like that. We know what's going on. So we need the same results,

Author Raymond Arroyo Explains the Origins of Christmas Tinsel

"Had a chance to talk to my pal Raymond Arroyo, who lighten the mood a little bit for a couple of minutes. But he also has a great ability to shine a spotlight on some of these crazy issues in some of the insanity we're facing in America. Here's my chat with Raymond Arroyo, Fox News channel. Tell us what the genesis of this book. How did it come into being? Well, you know, Mike, years ago, when I was a young reporter traveling in Eastern Europe, there are trees or decked out with tinsel from top to bottom. I mean, it looks like the front of a Trump Tower or something. You know, it's old glitter and tinsel. And if you look in the bows of those trees, there are little spider ornaments jeweled spiders. And I couldn't figure every house I went to every business. They had this same setup. Well, I guess I didn't pay much attention to it. I thought they were recycling stuff from Halloween or I didn't know what they were doing. Years later, I came across a footnote during research for another book. And it says there is a legend from the second century of Mary Joseph and Jesus running into a cave on their way to Egypt. And they meet a spider who performs a special service for them. Well, it turns out that spider and this story is the origin of tinsel. I always thought tinsel was to replicate bicycles on a tree. No, it is a testament and a homage to this tale of a spider who spun a web perform this amazing service for the holy family. And you know, at the heart of the story, and the reason I think it's resonated with people so deeply in the last year and again this year is because as Mary says of the spider at one point in all of us, all are here for a reason. And no matter how small your gift, no matter how the world ignores you or tells you, you're not good enough or get over in the shadows or we don't want to see you anymore. That gift that service may be of the utmost importance. Not only to you and yours but to all of

Rep. Nicole Malliotakis: The Infrastructure Bill Is 'Incredibly' Important for Aging Cities Like New York

"Right, let's listen to Nicole malli attack. This is the congresswoman from New York. Again, I've always liked her. So disappointed that she voted with 12 other Republicans in the House and rescued the Biden agenda as The Wall Street Journal editorial which I'm going to share with you points out. Listen to her comments to Bill hemmer and Dana perino this morning on Fox News. 19 Republican senators voted for it as well. But for those who did not, they just think this is a bad Bill. Why did it get your yes vote? Well, this bill, look, I read this bill, and it is covered to cover infrastructure. $350 billion is going to roads highways and bridges, which you would consider traditional infrastructure, and in the other 550 billion is for ports, airports, seaports, ferry systems, coastal resiliency projects, like the east or seawall that's so important to my district. Sewer systems, which is so incredibly important following Ida, the damage that took place in New York City, upgrading our subway signals to a communication based train control. We're still relying on pre World War II equipment in some subways. So for an aging city like New York City, this bill was incredibly important. And the reality is is that this is the type of investment that people actually pay taxes for those basic infrastructure needs that you expect from government, but have been neglected for decades. And as you reported earlier, I also believe that we significantly took away the leverage from the socialist squad. It is why AOC and the others voted against it because they knew that if the true infrastructure Bill passed, the spotlight would go onto their social spending bill that includes the IRS agents. It includes the Amnesty. It includes giveaways to those who are in the country illegally, the taxes, the vaccine mandates and penalties, all of that that we remain opposed to and we are going to fight tooth and nail with the moderate Democrats to

"So i guess this makes it. Official folks tucker. Carlson is a fox news hypocrite. It turns out that fox news actually has vaccine passportprogram at their workplace. The same kind of program that tucker carlson rails against almost nightly so. Here's a picture of it. Take this so you talk about a vaccine passport. This by definition is a vaccine passport policy. Because if you don't want to wear a mask you have to upload your vaccination card into what they call their workday system. Whatever that is it's sort of like an hr system. If you don't wanna wear a mask you have to upload your vaccination status so why are on the air nightly in. it's not just tucker carlson. It's laura ingram as well as tucker carlson on the air every night railing against so-called vaccine passports they're hypocrites that's why they're hypocrites. It's good for ratings. That's why they do it. It's more fun to resist. Isn't it then to comply with the policy that ninety nine point nine percent of doctors say you should do and that's get vaccinated. It's more fun to say. No i'm not gonna do that. It gets ratings it makes them money and tucker almost nightly he rants against vaccine passports the same ones. That fox news is using any compares them to jim crow laws of segregation of all things. But that's what they do at fox news folks why won't tucker say whether or not he's been vaccinated. What's the big secret about this. What's the big secret. i'd. I'd bet anything folks that tucker carlson has been vaccinated. He'd be foolish not to be right and he can't even tell us whether or not he's been vaccinated because it would expose them as a hypocrite. A further hypocrite. Is it just too personal to share that information. Why all the secrecy. It's no big deal. It shouldn't be a big secret but he makes it a big secret will for one. He'd probably doesn't wanna lie about it and it would make them look like a hypocrite but just think of all the good he could do if you shared whether or not he's been vaccinated and if he has been vaccinated how it would inspire others to get the shot and just think how many lives he could save. I mean if if he's a religious man he's been vaccinated and can't share that information with others because it's more important to have good ratings. It's more important to have the money flowing in than that's criminal. That's criminal folks. It's not just hypocritical. Which is more important to you tucker money or saving lives..

And they're all saying the same thing. Which was. I can't believe that days. The bailed out those banks on wall street and they're going to put us out in the street. Those people had something in common. You know what i'm saying. I think at some point when things get bad enough then their distaste for the status quo is going to outweigh their distaste for each other is my sense. That has been the answer to the question how much investors Khun withdrawal each year from their savings so they don't run out of money in retirement. The rule was developed by a financial adviser in the 19 nineties after determining even in the worst economic downturns for folios containing 50% equities and 50% bonds did not run out of cash for 30 years or more when withdrawals were captain 4% with annual adjustments for inflation, one reason Percent rule may not hold up is that people are living longer and 30. Years of solvency may not be enough, and the rule also assumes that future market conditions will be no more extreme than historic ones like the Great Depression. However, this year's never before seen market conditions could threaten to break the 4% rule. When it comes to retirement planning. You have to address the worst case scenario in today's climate. The 4% withdrawal rate may not be conservative enough saving you money. I'm Hillary Barsky Fox News. Time for your news coming Rather, every time an election rolls around our national conversation reaches a fever pitch. Politics are all anyone can talk about. People argue endlessly about this policy and about that candidate and then about half of them stay home on Election Day and don't vote. You may feel fed up with politics. You may be ready to wash your hands of the whole dirty business. But that's not how God's people are told to act in the political sphere in Scripture as a Christian, and as an American. It's not only your right to vote. It's your responsibility in the Old Testament. When the people of Judah were hauled off into exile in Babylon by King Nebuchadnezzar, the prophet Jeremiah wrote him a letter. You might think he would have told them. Alright, everyone. Here's the plan. Whatever you do, be sure to keep yourself out of Babylonian politics. Hide in a holy huddle, wait for God to smite those pagans and then hurry on back home to Jerusalem. But that's not what Jeremiah said He delivered this message from God in Jeremiah 29 verse seven. Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile and pray to the Lord on its behalf. For in its welfare, you will find your welfare. God was under no illusions that Babylon was a perfect place. It was a decadent and wicked city. Yet God told his people not to withdraw, He told them to engage. They didn't know how long they would be there. They knew they were ultimately citizens of God's Heavenly City. And yet they were told to dig in and get to work on behalf of Babylon. They were supposed to pray and work can make their earthly city just a little bit better than how they had found it. This didn't mean compromising on their convictions are throwing out their Bibles. But it meant doing what they could do to help make things better. Jesus taught us the same thing when he was asked to name the greatest commandment in the law. He refused to name just one he named too. You shall love the Lord. Your God with all your heart and with all of your soul, and with all of your mind, and a second is like it. Usual love your neighbor as yourself. We're not supposed to have a relationship with God while neglecting or ignoring the needs of our neighbours were called to work for their good. That means we have to care about politics because politics is where we haggle over how best to seek out the common good. In our country. In particular, we have a participatory democracy. As John J. The first chief justice of the Supreme Court, said God has given us the privilege of choosing our leaders in this Christian nation. So it's our job to vote for the candidate and the party whose policies will best contribute to the moral and spiritual good of our neighbors..

"Brian stelter joins us. . Now he is the anchor of CNN's reliable sources, , the host of its podcast and the author of a New New York Times bestselling Book Hoax Donald, , Trump Fox News, , and dangerous distortion of truth Brian. . Thanks for being here. . Thank you so much. . So you used to be my colleague here at the New York Times way back I don't know when exactly did you leave The Times? ? <hes> twenty thirteen. . Well. . So the moment I remember was in twenty eleven when this early documentary about the Times came out called page one and there was a line in that documentary in which the leat David car says, , I still can't get over the feeling that Brian stelter was a robot assembled to destroy me. . I, , haven't forgot that line. . Because I wonder if you're secretly three people you host. . A Show on CNN you write a daily newsletter you host a weekly podcast you have two small children, , and somehow you wrote a book on this extremely fast moving subject. . That is Donald Trump. . How did you handle that the two small children is the fun part they keep me <hes> saying you know David used to say I still miss him so much used. . To say, , what do you think the story is that I should tell us to say to sources you know if you were writing the story what would you right and that is what I was doing with folks at Fox News and these themes kept coming up especially last year, , which compelled me to go and try to get a book deal I think it. . was last that I wanted to do this and more that I felt like someone had too i. . hope that doesn't sound too cocky but it's true. . There's some things in life. . You just feel like the gotTa go tell this story and I think the only untold story of the trump era that's left maybe is the story of his boxers addiction so I did. . Carve out time in between my other jobs and and frankly wants the pandemic send us all home. . Put us on lockdown just grateful that my wife was able to help with the kids when I was having to finish the final chapters of this book. . So what is that story the relationship between Donald Trump and Fox News obviously, , it's the full subject of your book. . People who are even casual viewers are news consumers are aware that there's a close relationship there yes. . I think we all are aware that the president gets fed information and misinformation from Fox but I think it's even more extreme and even more dangerous than people realize it happens more often and the connections or even cozier than than folks realize I oftentimes in coverage. . Of the White House reporters leave out what I think is the key piece, , the key ingredient, , which is he got that idea from Fox. . He gained that idea from foxy gained that conspiracy theory from Fox and with this pandemic this year staffers at Fox told me they felt like the coverage was hazardous to our viewers. . The coverage was dangerous. . The coverage was unforgivable. . I really just tried to step away just the Messenger for these anonymous sources mostly anonymous did speak on the record who felt like the coverage is hurting the country. . All right. So . a defender, a , Fox News skeptic cure might say so what trump follows Fox News is leads you know democratic presidents in the past have taken their cues from the editorials editorials of the New York Times. What's . the difference? ? I think. . It's so much more intense. . Now, , Fox's influences constant when trump threatened North Korea, , and said, , he had a bigger button than Kim Jong Un. . It was because of a Fox segment when he grants pardoned, , it's because Fox when he attacks big technology company because of Fox, , when he raged about migrant caravans, it , was because of Fox and it's not that he's getting the best possible information still from the best sources in the world know he's getting it from a bunch of of. . Who oftentimes misinform him think? ? That's one of the differences between this White House and past white houses Braga Obama was he washed ESPN in the evening rather than MSNBC tours w Bush might have watched some Fox but he wasn't consumed by it. . The way that this president is so it's an unprecedented relationship really is

"Yeah. Okay. Now, a couple of things one as far as I know there's nothing that prohibits foxy route from having remote control to enable them to change the channel to watch debates on other channels. To when the Republicans decided not to go on MSNBC after having lost the popular vote and five of the last seven elections. I don't remember a bunch of political wags saying while how the Republicans going to get the NBC viewer. Like, what is what does that mean? Why are they scared of taking questions from richer Matt out by no-one said that and here's the other thing Sean Hannity who has the most watched program on that network gets three million viewers. There were a hundred and twenty eight million voters the two thousand sixteen election. Do you think the three million Sean Hannity voters? The people are gonna make a difference. Do we have to reach voters who live in the towns were FOX's anymore? More watch station. Absolutely. Do we have to reach people who? Have the same profile as the three million people who watch Hannity? Yes. Do we have to broaden the reach of the party to reach into more rural and urban areas. Yes. But the idea that the only way to do that is to offer FOX he television debate during the democratic primary is so simple minded that it blows the mind like they're always to reach the voter need without putting a imprimature of legitimacy on Fox News and giving them more money to than us to try to destroy democracy in this country because that is what a debate is a profit making enterprise for news network, and the Democratic National Committee made the exact right decision in frankly, this whole conversation stupid because even if they had given them a debate it wouldn't have happened because a number of Democrats decided not to go to a debate because they didn't want to do exactly what we just said. And we know this because that's what happened in two thousand and eight when. A democrat Nash committee gave FOX debate. Then it was reported that Roger Ailes would refer to Brock Obama as bin Laden, and we decided to cancel the couple Democrats had to cancel debate. And they did not happen. So we've had we have wasted all of our time and decided to the many reporters have decided to reveal to the to the country just how inside the bubble and simple minded, they are is very frustrating. If you if you're a voter who only gets your news from Fox News. It's your only source of news. You are not voting democrat. If you are one of the voters who gets your news from FOX, but also many other outlets than you are potentially a democratic voter. But in that case, you can find the debate on any of the other news channels that you watch it's really that simple. There are Democrats independents who watch Fox News for sure. But those people who are watching Fox News are also exposed to a whole bunch of other media, if they are actually up for grabs voters when you are in -sconsin, the Fox News. Bubble. And that is the only thing that you watch. We're probably not getting your vote, and we all have relatives. We have friends we have family members who have fallen into the strap. "Threatened to not appear in debates in the general election that are held on other networks, which hey dip shit, the general election no-one network host the debates there broadcast everywhere. So your only option is to drop out of the debates if you want so anyway, I see Tom statement. I see the democratic national committee's decision. I'm like, yeah. Obviously. Obviously, we're not gonna have Fox News host primary debate for the Democratic Party. They haven't hosted one in like ten years or something thousand four if Moore didn't happen sixteen. Okay. So almost fifteen years gone by now since Fox News is hosted a primary debate. I don't know why the democrat party was considering offering them to host one in the first place if we hadn't for the last fifteen years, but anyway, I thought it was pretty common sense that we wouldn't have network whose business model is based on spreading disinformation. And whipping up outrage, and Zina, phobia and racism among Donald Trump's base. I thought it was pretty common sense that we wouldn't say, well, we only have so many debates to offer host for and. Yeah, we're not gonna have FOX be one of those hosts because there's a ton of other media organizations out there and activists organizations in different groups who could ask our candidates, very tough but fair and eliminating questions. So that our voters can decide who they want as their nominee seems pretty normal that Fox News wouldn't be one of those places, but then I would have been mistaken because then we see journalists Jonathan Allen we sought from Zeke Miller from the AP Saad from all kinds of other Jack Shafer in politico, saying, what are Democrats so afraid of why are they afraid of tough questions from Fox News. This seems like a huge mistake for Democrats. This is going to play into, you know, Trump's worst instincts and he's going to attack the press. More because of this. He's gonna tech the good outlets, more and all this bullshit. And I am just I don't know, man. I thought that this far into the Trump administration this far after twenty sixteen this far into Fox News transforming from a conservative outlet to one that is basically just pumping disinformation into the either and really hurting our democracy as a result. I would have thought that journalists good journalists who good work would have understood what this is all about. And I am clearly mistaken. And I don't know why is mind boggling I have been raging lunatic for two days now. And let's like let's separate if you things here, right one is this argument that somehow Democrats are voting tough questions the implication of that reporter. Yes that is that Jake. From CNN who I think asks the toughest questions probably of anyone in journalism to both parties is somehow not as good a questioner ship Smith or Chris Wallace that Lester Holt or Gayle king or some of these other people are not going to ask Democrats have questions. That's insane. That is a stupid fucking way to think about it. And if you would think before you tweet, you would understand that independent facture insulting the rest of the journalists by using that argument second, there's this argument that somehow this is in doing so Democrats are hurting journalism, and we are giving aid and comfort to Trump's argument that there is fake news. Okay. That is stupid. Democrats are not stopping FOX from doing their job FOX reporters are going to be invited to cover the debates.
