"So it's very similar to the smashed car can find myself. I can get it and bring it up here. Yes so so cap. I one day ever. I've worn a romper. It had was light blue with a giant pine. I really worked hard to find this one. It was mason's first. Line to me when i walked in was and i'm the one so but literally so mason takes my picture in the romper and posted on social media. You know there's church you may know this. I can't remember there's some organization some website that ranks the top sports talk show host across the country. What is your name lockers man. Yeah exactly and so. We're always in there somewhere one year. We're number one every year. The picture they use is me i. It's almost like mason. Set it up that way like one year. We were number one. It was like come on. So what how did how much did mason surprise you on the golf course. Then today vary so. It's like did you really. You took this very serious. Took it very seriously trained. Spent three months taken last time. How much have you had to think who grant by to grant who grant yes really just to be competitive just to be competitive and by the way george. He was more competitive in the most proud about is. He had a great spirit about the whole thing like he. He practiced when he blew up. He just forget. He was a goldfish goldfish. Ain't right back goldfish. She forgot it from one. The first call then he blew up in the second hole. Hit the hit it out of bounds and the third time to win. The wheels could've come off wins the fourth hole in its true to get to mental fortitude. Nate mason goldfish talk about hope. Fish very funny. The funny thing was george that we said we argued about how many stresses giving them forever. We decided on matchplay worked out really. Well yeah the number we ended up on was twenty seven three shots a whole right final score after nine holes john ireland forty steve mason sixty seven. Wow so terrible not terrible. "And if the card is 7500 or whatever it is, but you're still not going to see Guy sitting drivers on all the par fours and par fives. We're going to see a lot of lot of three would things to get the ball in the right place on the golf course. But they're gonna They're gonna be going into green. We're gonna be doing at the flags and any time it's soft, you're going to see scores come down so You know you could have somebody shooting the mid sixties tomorrow. I don't see somebody shooting in the low sixties on this golf course. But you never know somebody gets hot. Make so much of putts or tips in or does something weird. But I think I think the scoring is is not going to be as high as we would have all hoped if the golf course were dry on this golf course when it dry on, especially now, with with all the changes in it. It's even become more difficult in terms of having to curb its different directions off the tee. You know, Muirfield is, of course, that typically, you know, pretty big landing areas. Well, that's not the case anymore. And anytime you narrow up the fairways if it's dry, it doesn't make a big difference in the scoring, But we'll just have to see how much how wet it really gets in. And how much additional rain there might be tomorrow. Mr Girlfriend hostage joining us now and Ray there you bring up an interesting point with the way the golf course will be playing, But is it going to dry out faster, based on Some stuff that is put in place. I mean, are there those you know the technology on go and forgive me for not knowing exactly, but I believe some of that is is now part of Muirfield Village Golf Club or Wasn't already there kind of a thing drying out the green some I mean, you know, let's face it the technologies out there. We know that some of the golf course is more elite golf courses have that type of capability. And, you know, drying that out clearly keeps those scores from, you know the you know 25 underwent in the memorial or what have you, you know? You have the sober systems are are in. It's the greens are new, so they're typically not when you've got new grease there typically not real firm they can get the speeds up on him, but it's hard to get that firm this up in a brand new green. So we're gonna I don't expect to see the super scary firm scary fast, even if it wasn't raining, so they're going to be able to fire it at the flags. But the golf course is already and always has been, and always will be a second shot golf course we talk about the fact that you've got to be dead, precise with your Your distance control of your irons, and you have to put it in the right spot on these greens, and you look at like the fourth hole. Not one people see a lot on TV, and I'm not people actually walk out there to look at it that are three down there. You know, it's over to 30. I think now from the back tees and the green Is 50 yards deep from front to back. So if the wind gets up, you know, and you got that left to right wind coming at you there, you know, that's a pretty tough little golf shot in there, and that's one where You've got to put it in the right. You don't want to be on the front of the green with the flag of the back. You know, there's there's There's problems there. That's that exist in terms of making. You hit some really long putts, But I think the golf course is going to be Fun to watch, and it's disappointing that it's not gonna be a little firmer, just in terms of having to drive it. In the fairways on somebody the way some of these new tee shots are set up. So Ray looking at the field that we got coming in, You know your typical names. The roar ease the Bryson's the JTS, Jordan's peace of the world. Who do you like coming in? Considering what you know about how this golf course is going to play Who's game? Do you think sets up to make a run at this thing this weekend? Well, I tell you, I just keep picking speaks. I think he's going to snap out of this and dominate again. Some time. I don't know. I mean, he was second last week. You mean like last weekend? Yeah. And, you know, I mean, obviously, you know, earlier win this year, Texas on do you know, starting to play some really good golf again, he would help attention in Augusta. I just can't imagine the memorial tournament Not being something on Jordan speaks resume at some point, So I'm gonna say him. I love Ricky Fowler always plays good at Muirfield. Wasim, your fields gets so positive. About the place about people on golf course itself. I.

I know there's been some college football stadiums that have been filled. Or somewhat full going back to the fall. I get it. You know, we've seen the gradual increase in capacity in really I know. Every state obviously varies, but, you know? Yeah. This weekend was insane yet 15,000 at the garden you had. I don't even know. I mean, D So what do you have any people at when it hit Its apex. You can go If you have saved the fourth hole. This here and the 11 hold is two fairways over and there's just trees and no water. You can literally just walked from 4 to 11. It looks a lot tougher to navigate these majors. I've been to a bunch of them. It's hard. So that's why I was going to say quite 10 because, as fans were dispersed throughout the course I don't know if they would have the ability to get for all of them to get from wherever they were situated prior to That surge, But either way, it was an incredible number. And it was an incredibly poignant scene that listen, and this is what's amazing about the achievement. Forget about the fact that He's by two years. "But then you've got Wilmer Flores heading in the four hole today. 1 60 batting average. The O. P s is under 600. This year, I asked Gabe Kapler, if that's just a function of not being able to optimize his matchups against left handed pitchers and He said. Not really, You know, he said that the Giants like Flora's, against both righties and lefties, But I do think that some of that is just a manager trying to instill confidence in his player and not, you know, dwell on the ugly start that Flores is half of the season, but you get to the bottom line up. Six. This Marie she autobahn seventh skirt. Sally eighth is Mike Talk man. The Giants just don't have the firepower that they had at the beginning of the season due to all the injuries, Bill And Donovan Solano starts to rehab assignment tonight. Alex Dickerson could return as soon as tomorrow. The Giants line of desperately needs them back. Bill, I told agree with both you and kind of look, looks like the walking wounded lineup because when I looked at it, I'm like, Oh, my goodness. A lot of these guys even playing Posey's not even playing. I thought for sure he'd be back in there today. With a day game tomorrow. One of the things I want to talk about Tyler Anderson. I think they have to hunt him and first couple pitches because that's one of things he does. He gets ahead of hitters so quick. And then he uses all the off speed stuff. So I'm looking for these hitters to 10 gauge on him to get up in a box and try to get those first couple pitches because once Tyler Anderson's grooved in, he's going to throw a bunch of junk Capta and we talkto Matt CAPPs, and he's throwing two different kind of fastballs. And, of course, we all know he changes speeds so much and his right hand and a line to pass to get in. And get some runs early off of him. Well, first time through 13 for 60. And it's 11 for 56. That's even under 207 for 30, So he's he's done. We supposed to do? Caselli one for three against him? Crawford, three for 14 with a homer. Florist plea for eight. Maybe he'll do something today with a homer Longoria one for 10 on Slater, one for eight, So no one has really had a long history with him. This is what I said earlier when I open the show, which seems like five hours ago, really other people have got a hit other than Longoria, Posey Belt and Crawford. You know, Slater, You gotta hit a home run rough you gotta It's not a walk. You gotta to hit one out of the park. Flores. Come on. You haven't had a hit in like in two weeks. Dubon, you know, hits it hard, and we expect a good average from him. He started to get on a little bit. Cost. Sally please, maybe a hit. So these other party just listen, our lives that's and said, but you know, that's great. That is tremendous analysis. You know, these was this lasted two weeks ago. A We'll go. Come on. Somebody's gotta hit other than the You know the veterans and this is a good day. To see if they could get it done. This is a good day to see if they can get it done. Look, this lineup is not going to play all the time and for the reasons you guys said, But they are on the team, and they've got to give some help here. This is a day for the secondary line up to do some damage. Marty and Carrie. I want to throw this out to we talk about the lineup, but we haven't talked about Johnny Cueto. And what is he could've feature today because those last start was ugly. There was nothing there that I saw that I was real excited about. This second start. I loved what Marty said earlier in the show, and he said, Well, maybe that was his rehab start. And now today, we're going to see a little bit better. Johnny Cueto, and I hope so, because if he's out there struggling like he did in the first couple of innings they're in for a long day. Pitch for candy pirates can't hit. They can't make it tonight until you could come out of retirement on Give him two innings. Believe me, They just you know, honestly, then, you know this is the other thing with God's been, you know, he got in trouble and you get to the end of the order Like the Philly game. He had people on base all the time and member in the Philly game. Then he would get 789 or 67 and eight and you get out of trouble. And look the pirates. It's a professional team, and anyone with a bad is dangerous. But, boy, they do not hit very well. So you know, that's that should be the story of the game. I'm right here. This pirate seem could be dominated the Giants have done in the past two days, and they need quitter to be sharp. With the off speed. The sliders gotta be good. The change up has got to be good against this Pittsburgh lineup because it's It's a team that can hit a fastball. We saw the other night. Well, Craig took Camilo dove all deep, and they're obviously missing. Colin Moran could Bryan Hayes so they're not at full strength much like the Giants right now, but they do not have the depth that the Giants do. They should not be winning games in this series, and the Giants really have to bounce back after last night and using three Relievers after Gosman gave the maid innings I would imagine Rogers is off today. So getting the Anderson early and getting quite a deep in the game. Those gonna be your keys to the game, Bill. I agree with you. And it all starts that first inning when us later rough and Longoria Longoria justice struggled a little bit. In the two games. He's only one for eight talk Mons, the guy that I really believe needs a day off. We talked a little bit earlier about him playing every game and he's this one for 10, he said in 209. He wasn't hitting this bad earlier, and I don't know if he's dragon or if he's just tired, but He's had some choice at bats, and he just hasn't come through yet. Kerri and Marty and I'd like to hear your thoughts on talk man. You need to day off and he's hitting eighth. And you know what can I say? Still gives you a deep it back, which they like, You know, He's a former Yankee. He doesn't fool around. Does he carry knows he's a baseball player. So, uh, You know, you know that's what they got. So let let let it play out. But let's see where it's going. But, Bill, you don't have to do keys to the game. Carrie did it for you on the clock back. That's good. That's good. We get that out of the way, Bill. You do talk back today. I do it tomorrow, so we rotate. This is going to be a fun game. This is gonna be fun, So we got a lot more to do a lot more to do..

"See, Do you see announced last month, they said less than 10% of Copa transmission was occurring outdoors. And guess what? It's way, way way less than that. Which was my idea all along, But Michael want to make a point before I got to that. So, Yeah. Michael, what's going on? My car this morning. Doing great. Thank you. What you got? Oh, uh, one movie. We was playing golf. I heard you talking about your golf game. One morning. We were man. The guy went up up Rocky Fork. I don't if you know that area or not. Nice, Quiet morning, Chelsea. No cars or nothing. Paul wants her getting right going in the clubhouse. And here's these older guys, maybe in their late seventies and Like the first hole there, and they're in the trees twice before they get to the bar for the green as polite for three holes, and I asked what kept asking, said, You know, if you guys don't let us play through, I'll buy you lunch. I know the guy that runs the place. You know, just tell them what you want. I'll pay for it. If you let us go through. Well, it would go on the fourth hole, but he just has 325 yard. I've banked one over their head when he was like 35 ft. Near forgot complain that could've hit him in the head. I said only if you were on three sets of skills anyway, But Mike Change stories. Have you ever seen a worse on ramp when you come off into 75 on the 71 South? Is that a death trap or not? 2 75 on the 71 sounds just like a double merge. I mean, that is that's one. I think that's one of the worst on ramps that there is down in that area. Mike, um, trying to picture that. Yeah, because the The ramp front. The ramp from eastbound ends up becoming an exit an exit only lame. Which means you have you do end up having to emerge over two lanes. I don't go that way too often, and I don't do it during traffic, but I'm sure morning drive with people going into town That zah pretty tough. It's tough little if you take for granted, there's nobody behind you. You just.

"Very surprising. News today from the pga they're going to allow distance measuring devices at majors. Beginning this spring at the pga championship at kiawah island in hawaii and also be permitted at the women's pga championship and the seizure senior pj championship. The president of pga america. Jim richardson not richard. Richardson says we're always interested in methods. That may help improve the flow of play during championships. The use of distance measuring devices is already common within the game and is now part of the all caps rules of golf players and caddies have long used them. During practice rounds together revelant yardages so at that means is that caddies and players will be able to know how far away they are. Shane bacon tweeted out. Saturday at the 2020 Masters

"Saturday at the masters in dustin. Johnson is running away. He carries a four shot lead into the final round sunday. Following a seven under sixty five saturday he was masterful tying jordan speiss fifty four hole record chasing johnson on the leaderboard are sung j. M abraham answer and cameron smith all four shots back while justin thomas and dylan 'fratelli sit five shots back following his round saturday. I called up with dustin johnson. Seven hundred sixty five news. Dustin johnson to sixteen under through three rounds. What did you do well saturday. And what if anything would you like to do. Better sunday I did everything while today. Adrover very nicely head. A bunch of fairways Hit a lot of greens and felt like i. I gave myself good chances on your on almost every hole. and so. that's kind of what you gotta do here. In the conditions. Not a lot of wind you know. Courses is fairly soft so you can be aggressive and Strike in a very nicely today And so you know tomorrow. We'll have to go out and do a lot of the same if i to win. Tied jordan speeds fifty four hole record. What's the balance between staying aggressive and not being dumb Well for me. It all depends on you know. Flag positions numbers Forgot a good number. And and i like the flag is a play aggressive but Like i said the course right now is is very receptive so you know i know the guys behind me are going to be trying to chase down south. You know you can't play you know there's a there's definitely a fine line of being too conservative and too aggressive but you just have to pick and choose my spots second last year. How did that impact your motivation. This time around. I mean yeah it was. I've played well last year. I played while the last couple years so obviously this one tournament that that i definitely want to win and you know. It means a lot to me. A- grew up so close to here and so it is something that i really look forward to until tomorrow is going to be a. It's gonna be a lot of funding. I'm gonna try to enjoy myself as much as i can and Hopefully hopefully outcomes good tomorrow afternoon. You heard dustin johnson say right there how badly he wants to win the masters. It's the dream of every player in the field in this eighty. Four th edition for more analysis on the third round and what to expect sunday. Let's bring in the voice of masters digital jimmy roberts. Dustin carries a four shot lead into sunday following a seven hundred sixty five saturday. He was masterful. Tying jordan speiss fifty four hole record assess his performance on saturday. A great it was basically as good as you could get You know you said it. He tied the fifty four hole scoring record. It is a different time of year. But i don't think it really matters. I mean the thing that sticks out to me is that you know through fifty four holes. He's got two bogeys which is unimaginable. On this golf course and they were in consecutive holes. Fourteen and fifteen in the second round. And when you stop to think about it he bogeyed the second easiest hole on the course which means that by all rights. He should probably expect to birdie the fifteen th hole. You give him two more strokes and he's just farther ahead of the pack. But i will just say this. I was here in nineteen ninety six and i covered that masters where greg norman had six stroke lead and nick faldo came back to win it so i mean this course can do things to you i mean. I think that there were extenuating circumstances that year. Norman had some physical difficulties. That didn't manifest until the final day and faldo played effortlessly. I think he shot sixty seven It's gonna take that for somebody to beat him tomorrow Somebody's going to have to play really really well. And he's going to have to stumble. What is it about this golf. Course that suits his game so well. Well i mean at this point really. He's the number one player in the world and he's as they like to say in europe he's on form so you know. He's a finely tuned engine right now and He's not even close to the red line. So i mean he is just got it all going on right now. I mean he's you know. I always say that you know. These are the best golfers in the world on on a week to week basis. You know you shouldn't be surprised if somebody you've never heard of comes up and wins a tournament because they are all remarkably talented. But he's the best of all of them right now and he is playing really well You know we've talked about this over the last couple of days. He you know he's long and straight which is tough to beat and then a couple of years ago. He decided that in order to get better you had to work on his wedge game so he went and did that he's become a terrific putter and he's completely unflappable. He i think. And i think that's the most important thing i think he's a guy who just does not get undone by much. I just asked him a few moments ago. what's the balance between maintaining the aggression. That got you here without going too far. Yeah i'd i'd be curious to know what he said but in all honesty. I've never seen him loses. Temper made him. I've never seen him hot. I've never seen him running hot. I'd seen him disappointed disappointed. And you're not going to be able to see this on the podcasts. But you know it's just kind of an shucks wish i hadn't tripled that whole crazy when i do. Something you know like that He's really he's a talented man. Who's in stride right now and You know he's done a lot He's one everything but tons of majors. I mean he's tiger tiger woods. He's one in to start his career. He's won thirteen consecutive seasons to start his career. Only tiger woods is done that and he tied him tiger actually one in his first fourteen seasons. But i mean he just consistently wins you know and it's hard to beat talent you know and worth work ethic when you match those two things together. It's very difficult. Let's look at the leaderboard. That is chasing dustin johnson song j. m. abraham answer cameron smith all four shots back. Justin thomas and dylan for tally. Five shots back if you were going to pick one to catch him. I don't think there's any question. The person who watches is Is justin thomas. But the way sunday m is playing and things are different now than they used to be. You know it's been forty one years since a first timer has one here that was fuzzy zeller nineteen seventy-nine. You know i was with the jack nicklaus this morning doing something and He talks. Jack came here and he didn't win for the first five times that he played here. But this is a course more than any other course were experiences necessary. But look you've got answer and in two players who were here for the first time in their you know right nipping at his heels Sebastian munoz too. So i i do think that must not be worth as much as it has been in the past given the level of talent and work of these guys but you know you give me a guy who has the experience and a guy who doesn't of equal talent and at the same spot in their game. I'm gonna take the guy with experience at this place every single time. Rory mcilroy and brooks koepka. Both superstars both at eight. Under after three rounds. How plausible is it that they might contend on sunday. I think it's entirely plausible. I mean i think that you know mcelroy's trending in the right direction after that seventy five in the first round which was disastrous for him. Just can't seem to get out of his own way sometimes but he's got a game. That's ideally suited for this place. He hits it high far and straight. His natural shot is right to left You know he's been number one in the world he's not undone by these big situations. Generally i think he's going to be a very interesting guy to watch tomorrow. But in all honesty there's so much daylight between dustin johnson and the rest of the field at this point and it's not the daylight of four strokes. It's the daylight of four strokes with the number one player on the one side of that daylight. Who's playing well. And i mean. I think it's gonna take dustin johnson shooting seventy two or three tomorrow. I mean i suppose it could happen. You know greg. Norman shot seventy six. Nick faldo shot sixty seven That lead had evaporated by the tenth. Tentpole the eleventh hole So you never know. But i would be. I would be shocked. But i remember being augusta national in in One thousand nine hundred ninety six and remember all the stories that we were doing. And i did a story for. Espn that night. And i said you know it would be shocking if greg norman didn't win but if he doesn't it will be one of the biggest stories and we won't soon forget it and here. We are all these years later. Talking about it at augusta national right now.

"I am not gonna waste the most beautiful day in October or November, going to go play golf, So I taped the game have such a great great time because you know me. I think I shot 96. It felt like 82 because of the people I was with and the course tacular. So they have five meat stations over the 18 holes that you play for us free beer. So how first hole Spicy chicken chilly. A. What about three or four holes? It's two kinds of sausage, Polish and Italian. Then we move on. And then I even give you a diaper with this Well, before you chicken with buffalo sauce, making the turn. We're playing here. There was there was a line trying to get into the man. We're playing fast, so and we're the last group out. So nobody is behind us, You know, hit again. You know, Couple of Mulligan's here in there. It just was such a wonderful day. So after the fried chicken with buffalo sauce, we move on to ribs and chicken wings. Oh, my. Then on the final hole. I hope you didn't wear white shorts. No, I had a white shirt on in ahead. Sure I had all kinds of stuff all over the front of it. The final hole. Peace to resist steak sandwiches. Yeah, Yeah. So I want to thank everybody out of canteen E. They ran a wonderful event. Everybody was masked. We had gloves, distance meet fatigue afterwards. You know, I was OK, because they were all relatively small, normally. It wasn't hot enough to start sweating, and I wasn't thinkin it was tennis. There were you There was a million was meeting between games. But, you know, I think maybe I was just a little dizzy from so much meat because I tried to get my card and crack my head. Mark was in not a beer league softball glee. He was in a food some agreement face. I don't think different sausages. I didn't think it was the meet. It may have been the free beer. Maybe your head. I can't open the trunk. I can't open the car door. I can't get in the car. But I drove home safely. I was not in a breed. I never are never. I've never seen you. I had created one beer. Seriously. I've never seen you intoxicated that Mark. Why're you you're so obsessive with everything. Why are you That's exactly why Sylvie because I don't gamble and I don't do drugs and I don't drink heavily because I think we would find the time I'd go over the deep end. I really will. The cab ran over my foot that time and then you you got in between me and calling me names for not doing a shot. I was completely out of my mind. But I was holding it together. You were you were you were the most mature person which was really weird, But that's the only time I think I've ever seen You overserved. Yeah. And you weren't even that overserved. No. But you were so I wanted to be there for you because you're always there for me. That's my game. The overserved whatever I say, or do something stupid. You're there, too. That's his name for me. Hang instead of BU. It says over served, served me. Well, I mean, speaking of the Bears, really? I felt so good about not watching one second of that game live. Like I said, first time I've ever done that in my career. Of course you go home and DVR watch the condensed version and that ruined my night. But then I was thoroughly entertained by the Saints crushing Brady in the books, So it all balances out, you know? All in all, a very good Sunday for you. It was a wonderful Sunday and I'm re energized that I come into work, and I just have to say to everyone who is so depressed and angry and frustrated out there. Look, Matt, Maggie's not going anywhere. Okay, Ryan Pace isn't going anywhere. I don't know. Now because I think throughout the NFL and sports in general, everybody gets a pass during covert pandemic season. Okay, we'll see what happens when the season is over for the immediate future. You have two choices. Pick your poison. You go with Nick, who can't move. Who's going to get crushed and throw a pick early or you bring Mitch back in. When he gets healthy, he'll just run around, then throw a pic. So it's just how soon do you want to lose it? We want it to be over soon and drag in either fashion. It hasn't worked. No, I remind people in 2019. They spent the year with the same formula. And they were 29th and yards per game in 29th score. And now today, once again Matt admitted and acknowledge that he is at least considering maybe thinking about giving a player's gonna do it if he's doing it all. Yeah, I think he's doing in Mark. Didn't you think he's doing it by the tone of his voice by by today's sound bite? I'm like, Oh, really? I think he's going to die. You may as well Yeah, let's take hasn't really clicked Blame. He doesn't have to take the blame. Kevin wouldn't cut off earlier, Mark He one time when he used to live in Chicago is in Springfield. Now he what he got suspended from school because he went to go see Waddle at a bank. But but but he never got the autograph from Waddle. So Kevin's on the line right now to go cab That's worth losing days. Six people six people away and while had other things to do, but found things for the character building left. I really appreciate what I'm here for. Just rather, you mean You mean diva Waddle Blue. You're never in my life. I got up and I know I've got to finish the line. Water. What are you doing? I can't I can't even remember a time when I hadn't done that, Tommy. I know you as well as anybody that dart you never stiff anybody. It was dark. And Platt. Phil? Yes, Yes, you did. So Mark's not really helping me talking about the whole bear scenario, Maggie, But as a guy that's in Springfield are sports cover, just kind of minimal, so I get a lot of it from you guys. Andi. I'm needing somebody to pick me up on the major sports teams on somethingto live forward you and mark you said. Coaches. And maybe you're talking NFL specific getting pastoring a covert pandemic, but Rick Renteria certainly didn't Jim Boylan. Yes, I'm still fired. Yeah. Yeah, I remember for a little bit of help. Like, obviously you're saying that he's not going anywhere. The bears a kind of a dumpster fire. The ball's got, um, Billy Donovin, who could be a great coach, But does he have to? We have the players, the socks? You know, we got the young kids, but how well, Tony gonna work out. And I'm not sure I'm the Cubs, because really where I met or cardinals and this comes don't yell at me for that. But I just I mean, it's hard to be like an Illinois sports fan right now. Vala tried to throw in there. Illinois basketball to a jet respond at the University of Illinois is the most overrated under producing college and all of the double. Have you're going well. You were going way too positive for me and then Big negative at the end. I love it. Thank you, Raj. Just terrible were terrible. And you ranked eighth in state people of this year. Yeah, basketball. They finally have turned it around. They should be really good this year, but Look, I think the socks you're going to be really good. I think the glass is half full. Now with the Bulls. There's a long road to go, but I think they're in good hands. At this point. At least you're encouraged. At least your semi excited. We got the draft coming up because the time like in recent Recent time where the Bears We're one of the most people were most optimistic about them. It's two short years ago. By the way, speaking of this accident, though, Louise Robert when a rookie in the area I don't think he's gonna win it. But I don't know, announced. They're doing their bit waiting for money football to kick off, then that's what they do. It's a major league baseball like a news dump it all the wrong times. I want to take more calls with Mark 3123323776. If you want to talk to marketing Greco make a point about the Bears. Also, we have a big station announcement. Will Brinson on the PGA Tour

"Well with the PGA tour. Starting tomorrow wanted to bring on. My Guy Will Brinson as promised at will Brinson on twitter. He's host of the pick. Six podcast I've been on that. It's an excellent show. I enjoy it tremendously, but he also is really into Goff. He's really into baseball. Is really you know a lot of things before we get to the PGA tour or golf? Stuff will let me just ask you this. The I don't remember what it was called, but Tiger Woods Phil Mickelson you know. peyton manning Tom Brady. The ratings that did and the money that it generated I. Guess my first reaction was how much of that is because it's the only thing going on during the virus, and how much of it is because people thought it was cool. Just Watch one group of. Football players and a couple guys go like I. You know I almost thought of like if I'm tiger woods and Phil Mickelson like, why do I need to play these other events like every like three or four times a year? Get a couple, musicians, or you know movie, stars or athletes do one of these deals and a boatload of money from it. Yeah I mean I think. The ratings are definitely Ross a result of the pandemic to to a larger extent I. Mean Look at you know even like. The the last dance was awesome, and it was absolutely must watch television, but the ratings were not. I don't think like real last dance ratings if we actually have sports going on, we're not all sort of cooped up in the house so I i. think that does make a difference. People are itching for some real sports, but yeah, we look you're talking about putting four of the biggest sole celebrity athletes on the planet in a in a in a golf match. People are going to be interesting to see what happens. so so from that perspective I think it's something that that those guys will do more of and let's not forget I. Mean for all the you know the ribbing and like Oh like look who want etcetera etcetera. These guys are pocketing huge piles of cash, and so a lot of you raised a lot of money for charity, too, but I mean these guys are pocketing here's pile huge piles of cash when they do an event like this, this is not a not entirely out of the goodwill of their of their generous hearts. Did you. Bet on it will, and did you. Did you love it? I was I was actually. I missed the early part of it because I was actually playing golf myself. We can play golf in north. Carolina. and I didn't bet on it. Because I was I like. I didn't think there was enough value in the favorites if I if I didn't sitting at my computer and watching the the first part of probably prop bets Anything A. full-blown degenerate, but just because I was playing golf and didn't have the early part. and I didn't like the I like I like the I thought the favorites. The. Phase GonNa win. And but I, I thought that the best value was on the dog, and so I didn't I I. It was like a tough spot for me. I didn't love the price on it, and so I figured out playing golf myself. Maybe just stay away on this one. It's actually rare thing I'd bet on oddly enough. Steve I'm curious I didn't even ask you. Did you watch that? Did you get involved in it at all, did you? Did you like it? Do you think it could be sort of the future for Golfer? At least more have more of them in the future for golf? What about four holes do some strong opinions about? This golf is horribly flawed right now because the players are boring. And Dairy. I just I can't watch golf all the players. Basically I have no interest other than tiger woods. Who I like following because he has a personality, shows emotion and I think that that what really stood out how great that exhibition was is with you, know Phil, needling tiger back and forth, and and the like, and you know Brady struggling big time early. It was just it was riveting I. Think I would have watched it. had been full sports on and I. Don't watch golf because I'm I. I'm sorry I'm just bored in terms of betting. I'll tell you this. Thank goodness. There was no live betting that I saw on this event because after six holes when woods and manning up three, I was convinced they were GonNa win by seven. This was going to be one of the. The greatest blow outs of all time. It's woods home. Course he's hitting. Every fairway and Brady can't play a lick so I guess a little warning and live betting things can change because obviously, this match got very close at the end,

"That leader of the four holes women of the Democrat apocalypse Alexander Ocasio cut to has come five right now be in society yes it was a see who said we are not living in the von society we are living in fascism diss the nation that put men on the moon and has the largest economy in the world today Adam what what do we do with people who believe coverage like this especially young people in America well first I weep that is terrible this is fascism is not something to joke about not millions of people died because of fascism to to compare this country it's a slap in the face when I think of all the people who literally gave their life to fight fascism around the world but I I think when I hear a see in some of her cohorts talk they think that this country is in a special place they think that our wealth and prosperity is an accident or it's this it's not not rough stone and sold on the line and you earn your prosperity every day and that's one of the the things that it's so important as China they are trying to earn their prosperity every day and if we give ours away or we squelch of what we have here China's gonna take the future this is life and death in the future of our country I'm not lying right now I would say this is the audio come we have from death row the the Jeff Andrew with Maria Bartiromo in the price segment a Democrat party the orders orders it's congressman to vote for impeachment vats the fascist party so Anna what when we start with where do you meet because people cheering when she saying we're not developed and with fascist people we had every single member remember that stage all ten candidates all the leading members that were all the Democrat party nominated for president signed on to a sees green you steal this isn't you know wacky idea from the French this is not the heart of the Democrat party so when you presiding as you do of freedom works when you are reaching out with your grass roots members across the country what is the message that you sent for example when you meet somebody who believes the stuff with because you call so your maybe your moral on how do you win them over well the first is I'm trying this is a pretty closely divided country and I'm not trying to go and recruit everyone but if we have fifty five percent of people or even get lucky we get sixty percent of the people to support and vote our way you're going to have a conservative majority for a generation to come it is that close but it's close in Pennsylvania it's close in Michigan's close in Wisconsin so what we're trying to really do is focus down on certain key areas where these upcoming elections are going to be decided geographical policy at any you can also look look we have or have to fight this battle out in the suburbs but I will I don't know which low just this incredible moment was watching the Nike banning those Betsy Ross shoots we've got sixty seconds what what was it I think of all the suburban women who dress their little girls up like Betsy Ross at the fourth of July I don't know what a slap in the face and that really showed me those people they may have voted democratic in the last couple actions but when they see what the radical left is going to do to them in their lives and their family that gives us an opportunity to really get on offense and expand our values and then bring on new recruits and if we could bring up five percent more folks which I am optimistic we're gonna be able to do we're gonna fan tastic two thousand twenty that's the right attitude I think that's what so Ron Reagan cold being a happy warrior hello this man on to to Adam on the school.

Is the 'Xbox Series X' name confusing?

"Of last week was the game awards Few announcements there. Nothing was revealed about the playstation five that we did get information on a five game being announced which is technically the first game to say. It's going to be five. We'll get to that in a second. But I want to start the discussion on the whole from the game with what we saw of non playstations in terms of the xbox series Ax Phil Spencer from McCaffrey on here one time it becomes an ex exactly but experts. No I want to talk about in reference to what we think is going to happen for playstation so Microsoft showed off the look of the the next Gen console the name of the console generation. There's been some clarification afterward of that. which brought the little bit like backtrack? Yeah it felt a little weird so at the show. The announced next Gen. xbox is called the xbox series ax and then in a follow up they talked about the naming convention for Next Generation This was a Microsoft representative live. Speaking to business insider. They said quote the name or carrying forward to the next generation is simply xbox game or as you saw that name come to life through the xbox series ax ax similar to what fans of team with previous generations the name xbox series x allows room for additional councils in the future so like pc s tower that we saw aw in an image for next generation xbox seems to be specifically the series x model of Xbox and presumably there will be other either series models or other things named entirely different. It's very muddy. Branding I mean I love. I'm very intrigued. By the what. We saw the console that we saw the series playstations always made so definitive about this is number four number five. This is how playstation kind of has worked whereas xbox this whole idea of family of consoles is great in theory but I found that particular messaging aging quite muddy because it was very not definitive and I think for more casual buyers which is what I'm always thinking of back in my days were hit. AB Games. It's like people would get confused. It's like the way you people didn't really understand. That was like the nixed way. Yeah you know what I mean and I sort of. I think that the xbox series x branding is just a little bit confused and the fact that there needs to be a spokesperson to clarify. That is not a great thing. No Sony's probably sitting there being like you should number counsel's math super super easy for psycho. They'll launch a number five next year. I I still think it'll be some confusion with people but it's pretty easy to go. Five is higher than four than it has to be like wait so the one s all digital versus the one an ass and then there's the one x and the series acts and then likely the series s yeah and they all use the same controllers but some of them. Don't use a new controllers and it's like it's very much sort of leaning into like a very hardcore crowd which sworn I I'm just trying to sort of positive because again I keep thinking as as we go into your generation you want to be theoretically as broad as possible with your messaging reach as many people as possible and yeah it just seems very kind of an inside baseball name like it seems like a name that you know the temporary name that just have ended up being presented to consumers it. It seems like the kind of stuff you can get away with when you're an iphone and your in millions of hands already and you get on the stage six times a year touting numbers of how big and important you are and you can go. We have an eleven PROMEX. It's the sequel to the tennis Max. And you're like what does that mean and people are like I have to get it because it's the new thing that has is four holes on the back like you can afford that but Microsoft hasn't revealed council salesman numbers for this entire generation and this is their. This is their audience to win back Jack and so I wish they had gone with something a little bit more casual that said Digging into the metrics on the game award stuff. They tweeted out saying that. Basically the they had more Is On this presentation than it did for almost anything it eat three outside of the halo trailer which means that this was by and large a great place to kicked this conversation off. I think people were sort of like itching eager for next Gen something at the game awards and for Microsoft out and say it. I mean for all of us were like we really this year's almost thomas over like can we just go to bed and he's like no. We've got a brand new thing. I think it was a good time to do that. And now we will. Sort of go into that ping-pong match and see what Sony does has next. 'cause now Sony has to make the next messaging yeah for reference on the game wars thing versus three like the numbers that are on the show this gets revealed the day the show goes up The show the game between nineteen had forty five point two million viewers across all of its platforms and it had like seven point five million or so peak concurrent during during the show. That is a lot of people. Tell Hey there's a new xbox coming next year at Microsoft seemed to be more concerned with telling people there is new xbox stuff next year rather than saying you're buying the series x next year it's also easier to co OP. The stream like that than it is to launch her own in February or March or something like that or wait until he three which is way. Wait too long for now. Yeah I think like people are ready to have that conversation. They they want to start talking about next. They WANNA know they WANNA start saving money. Frankly expensive transit massive massive podcast.

The Latest: Woodland captures US Open title for first major

"Gary, congratulations. US open champion. Sounds pretty good. I like the way that sounds you heard a lot over seven after you had to fifty four hole league. You heard plenty a head shake you woke up this morning, when you went to bed last night, what was your belief that you'd be sitting here now records of meant to be broken? I mean, everybody says that's what I told myself. And I believe that when I went to sleep last night, and I believe when I woke up this morning that it's my time all those past experiences over seven of led me to where I am today. I can take the good out of that and making forget the bad and I can move on. And today, I stayed in the moment I relied on those good memories and times when I've played good under the gun and was able to pull it out, you referred repeatedly to what you learn to euro, the PGA playing with tiger. When things didn't go the way you wanted him. How did that help you this day for everything? I mean, everything I mean, I, I should probably call tiger and say, thank you for that, because tiger he didn't have. His a game that he shot sixty four which I think is Lois five around in a major. He didn't have his game but he the way he handled himself the way he stayed in the moment the way he blocked out. The excite people are screaming the energies. Unbelievable. And I relied on that today I got a little out of myself, I think that got to me last year. They'll read until I finally settled down on the back nine it was too late today. I didn't I enjoyed the crowd. I fed off the energy but I blocked it out. I stayed within myself I paid attention to Gary. I didn't pay attention to everything going on. And when you do that everything you can kinda calmed down, and kind of take everything kinda slowed down for me today. And that was the big deal you go to a great start your so rock-solid and then middle part of the round early heart of the back nine you got a little quick transition, go right? What was the turning point to get it back the big deal? The second shot on fourteen. I hit a great drive. My foot little slipped a little bit there. But I covered it enough to get it in the fairway. I got up there and his one of those. Caddying Brennan little, we've talked a little bit this week about playing aggressive and I got up there. And one of those where I knew what the concentrate on. New left was bad hit the chip shot in the practice round. I knew rights out of bounds. I knew was only by one, and I don't know what Brooks is doing a head of me as well. I saw Justin Rose just lay up from a similar position. I'm like a pretty easy to lay up and he's like, let's go. It's a perfect three would and that gave me not only confidence for that shop but gave me conference last four holes. That's all I needed to know. He knew I could hit any shot in any situation. And I was able to execute it perfectly, and obviously, make birdie give myself a little room, but I credit, Brennan, forgive me, a lot of confidence right there. The shot that will probably get more attention to that. Of course, is the chip from the green on seventeen ninety feet away. What do you tell yourself as the club goes back just make contact? You know, you don't wanna lay the sod over it. Leave it up there and chip it again. Fortunately, I had that shot earlier in the week. And it was one of those where I could rely. I got it up and down. Fortunately there so I can rely on some some pass memory, but I was just trying to get past the pin. I wanted to have an uphill putt take four move on in Britain last. I do it but I didn't wanna make a big number. And fortunately, I caught it perfectly had a little spin on how to change go win. You were so. Controlled all week you make the thirty footer on the seventy second hole. What came out everything. I mean thirty five years of blood, sweat, and tears. I've been surrounded by great people, my whole life coaches, trainers agents, everything I've had good people around me. And I've kind of keep everything bottled in and I I let it out there in the last night, I was more nervous when I got done because there was no more shots hit. I didn't know what else to do and it all came out when I made that putting the last and it was a doozy. Gary woodland fourth US open champion with all four rounds in the sixties Brooks KEPCO becomes the first player to shoot all four rounds in the sixties in a US open and not win. I feel pretty good. Just I told you guys before I'm a big fan of his talent and him as a person stupor guy. He's really fun, John. I'm of guy if you wanted Gulf buddy trip he'd be the life of the party, but he gets in his own head, and he has somewhere lurking out there. A situation. That's not gonna go his way, and it will take him three or four hole to get over it. And in a major championship. You can't do that. You can't how you can't get down on yourself you'd have to keep playing through it and Rahm has been really challenged by that. And he readily admits it that you listen to emotions get the best of him. He lingers on the negative things. His caddy tries to talk him sometimes out of things and he just believes in his talent. Which is great. But he sometimes what's his emotions get the better. I think he will win someday green jacket. I think he will win multiple major championships. I think he could reach number one in the world. I don't know who I am not willing to say that he is going to win this year because he hasn't proven to me in a major.
