The Difference Between the Y2K and AI Crises
"Off the ledge because I not I am seriously freaked out I am NOT an apocalyptic guy and in the end I ultimately think that we could find a way to harness this thing but folks I think the way to stop AI is only going to be to unplug it which would basically unplug everything and you really do want to go back to little house on the prairie hey Paul I mean we can't even afford to do that we have nuclear actors now we have computers that are containing dangerous chemicals and viruses I am freaked totally out about this AI thing now here's one of the reasons I'm not going to spend a whole segment on this because I do want get to back to something that happened in the debate and PolitiFact strikes again which is amazing but the technical side of it alone scares me artificial intelligence is clearly something we were not designed to do because think about it from just a strict tactics perspective from a basic SWOT analysis you would do in business strengths weaknesses opportunities threats SWOT analysis is so simple yet it's one of the most valuable lessons you learn in business school even if you don't draw the grids you have this massive threat right? of a super intelligence just as a threat so how do you take advantage of a strength to mitigate that threat or mitigate a weakness to mitigate the threat and the thing about the threat of AI is I don't have an answer for you there because we don't have any strengths against AI we have none it's smarter than us that's the whole idea of AI why am I bringing this up again with this heavy news day because yesterday Peggy Noonan who I like her writing at the journal I get it she's not a Trump person it's okay we're allowed to have different opinions we don't have to like I don't dislike the Santis people and Haley people I believe in ideas not politicians it's fine I of get a lot complaints every time I mentioned Peggy Noonan she writes great stuff some of you know some of it I think's a little whatever oh why'd I just stop there's anybody know you pee ones Jim why'd I stop what time is it come on and you're the producer brother it's coffee time so one o 'clock hour you got to know this by yeah now man it's gonna go into book or some edit version number two the artificial intelligence Peggy Noonan wrote a piece about it last night it's a really good one she talks about AI is the y2k but it's actually real remember y2k the world's gonna end every you know enough I mean really nothing happened like it all and the y2k thing was a big deal to me because I had met Paula just before that and Paula was a computer web database developer and she was working overtime on making sure the y2k crisis didn't fit didn't affect her firm SIA where she worked Securities Industry Association at the time now SIFMA so she worked there and they fixed that the problem with AI is and you know it's funny Jim you and I just had this fight right about that fight of disagreement about it did you not say to me yesterday during the break Dan I know don't it sounds like y2k right right and this is before the Peggy Newton but she must have listened to us on the break she had like a she was beaming in ESP or something but I said to Jim and I don't know I think you thought I made a good defense the y2k crisis was describable and definable we did not allocate enough digits to compensate for the flip in the clock to the year two done everybody knew what it was okay let's fix it my wife's firm they realize they had certain systems payroll systems and others queued to a four -digit whatever three -digit or two -digit system excuse me they changed it the problem with AI in

Miles of Marathon Motivation With Jeannie Rice
"Tell me um about your marathon journey how many marathons have you ran so far weeks ago three weeks ago ready yeah I did that was my 131 Wow and then 30 first marathon so you know it's interesting it's a funny actually I told my friends and family when I when I reach hundreds marathon I'm gonna stop running a marathon not that I'm gonna stop running I'll stop for marathon and I'll do the half marathon and I'll continue to run so 100th math and I went to Boston again Boston is very special I guess because I was qualified night very beginning so I went there right after my hundredth marathon I'm thinking already next math and I couldn't so many I still want to do so now since then I've been 31 again 31 more so I am you know still have several math and I want to do so I you know is it easy no training is the hard part as you know anybody can train I mean you get to the starting line we can all get through it math either faster or slower but to get to that point you have to train so train for so weeks train is a tough you know I run 50 miles a week all year round either I have a marathon schedule or not so I am pretty much marathon ready whenever I want to run math and I just picked the one and then I do so 50 miles a week a pretty much six seven days a week once in a while I'll take the day off but you know my day off can be real easy one you know three four mile or none but normally six days a week I run all year round so what made you decide to go from that 5k to a marathon what was there any transition in there any like a 10k then a half or anything like that or you just went from 5k to I think I went seven weeks in a row 5k but 5k is like my speed world to me I am more you know distance runner although I do have a world record 5k I don't consider myself a fast but fast enough for my age division you know I broke the world record on 5k 10k even 1 ,500 meter and one mile this past this year I got all this world record time but marathon is the one I really you know a good at it because a marathon time when I first broke a world record when I was 75 years ago in Chicago and I broke the world record by seven minutes yeah those seven minutes the German lady had it for five years nobody broke until I did it and then I broke that year and then year later I went to Berlin marathon and I broke my own record by three minutes so I have a ten minutes in between so but there's a couple ladies are chasing of course it's fun about it we are not pro runners but you know they are chasing my record and record will be broken some sooner later just like I did this year now I'm move up to 75 and I broke 75 years old record mm -hmm so Chicago I only broke by four minutes so I mean I said only because I was hoping for seven minutes just like I did five years ago but this way I can break my own record again because I didn't run as fast as I want I plan to and I was hoping to so now next big race will be London and that's what I'm going for okay so you're going for all the world majors yes yeah yeah I don't have any marathon plan before then I do have a USATF cross -country that's only 6k 6k in December and I have a math half marathon in December Jacksonville and then in Naples in January that's a big race I go to Naples during the winter time mm -hmm I live in Cleveland Ohio during the summer but it's cold in here so I'll be heading down in a week or two to Florida and I stay there till April so but there's a big half marathon in Naples in January which I do that every year and I belong to running club down there it's a huge race people come from all over so that's my my schedule but I do a lot of 5k if it's a local 5k there is 5k I run anyway because to me that's my fun run and it's a speed work mm -hmm and I'm not really good at going to track every week like some people do I used to when I was younger and I don't do that and I still go once in a while with the friends if they want me to go I'll go but my speed work is local small races or I do on the road by doing this you know running schedule

Hear 75-Year-old Jeannie Rice's Inspiring Journey to Marathon Success
"To the show Jeannie. It's so nice to have you here. Well thank you for having me. Jeannie I read your story in runner's world so I really was excited to have you agreed to come on the show. So how did you get started in running? It's a long story but I'm gonna make it short. Like 41 years ago, it's going on 41 years already I've been running, I made a trip to my hometown Seoul, Korea and I came home a few extra pounds. I would say five six pounds because I was just traveling and visiting family and you know even every day it's like a feast right? So I am a short person I'm only 5 '1 and the five six pounds was a little I felt like I was a little chubby so I started jogging around the blocks and then I got hooked and I decided that I am pretty good at it running before you know it and I was in a five mile race in local race and then I did very well at the time I was 35 years old and I was a brand new runner I just starting to jog a couple three months and I came in fourth in my age division it was a big race actually so I thought oh if I train I guess I can run faster so that's how I got hooked so a year later I did math on 1984 1983 I start running 1984 I did my first marathon and six months later first marathon was 345 and then six months later I did 316 which qualified for Boston at the time I was only 36 years old so I did go to Boston 1985 that was my first marathon and I got hooked so I've been running since then and my children were already older a lot of people a lot of girls I would say when they start younger age we know they get married they get you know have a children's they take some time off between their pregnancy or whatever but I was already I had two boys already they were already older so I just never stopped as I've been running 41 years straight Wow and your time hasn't really changed now has it because I looked at some of your times yes you know it's interesting um a lot of people my competitor now and they used to be some of them I mean one you know particular lady and from London she was Olympian years ago she was her best time is like a 240 something but now she's running my pace 330 ish but I never was there faster so I haven't slow down much let's I'll put it that way my first marathon was a 345 and then I got better to 310 but I never went under three hour so now I slow down a little bit 1015 minutes 40 years later I'm still running 330 math that's so incredible

We Spent $400 BILLION on Illegal Immigration?
"Dan bongino so i told you before the break when i played a clip let the fox business report they told you what illegal immigration is costing us per year and it is an absolutely ridiculous obscene four hundred and fifty one billion dollars let me say that is off by ten percent and it's four hundred billion dollars four hundred billion dollars to pay for illegal immigration now again again because i'm interested in the truth and honesty you shouldn't be here illegally we we did it the right way my family my wife and you should do with two it if you first act in the united states is to flip us the double barrel middle finger and break the law you don't deserve to be here but from a strict economic perspective are these costs real certainly sounds like it the problem is over time people can mean productivity so let's hey this if gets a little complicated i'm not doing it intentionally say it costs us four hundred and fifty one billion a dollars year to process i don't know three million people that are in the country illegally and probably another five five hundred thousand that are got a ways we don't even know about but we're still paying for anyway that that cost would go down each year why because people would start to work not everyone's gonna stay on on government benefits people would eventually i'm not apologizing for illegal immigration so don't please don't send me any nasty grams i'm simply giving you a pure spreadsheet take on it over time it costs less by the time you get to the second generation typically that generation works they go to school they produce it probably cost you a lot less the problem we have with biden and if god forbid this guy gets re -elected or any democrat for that matter is is that this a recurring

The Big Take
Fresh update on "fourth" discussed on The Big Take
"Putin's decision to invade Ukraine is something that the intelligence agencies did know before but certainly that the administration Biden wasn't planning on having to deal with. And so as you say inside the US military and intelligence establishment, this is something that they are concentrating on. If it was up to them, this is all they will concentrate on. So Pentagon leaders walk around saying that the PLA, the People's Liberation Army, China's military is what they say is the pacing challenge. That phrase is a little bit sort of stodgy uncomfortable and but it does really relay the sense of urgency that they I think the issue that worries Pentagon planners most is a Taiwan scenario. The possibility that China could at some point try to invade the democratically governed island of Taiwan. And for Chinese leaders, this is their top priority. They've described this as something that's central to their plan for national rejuvenation. And Pete remind us what is the nature of the conflict between China and Taiwan. So Taiwan is a democratically governed island of about 20 of China. It's been ruled by parties other than most of the last century. But the Communist Party leadership in China believes very firmly that it is breakaway a province and should once again return to the fold of the motherland. And of course, Taiwan's government is opposed to reuniting. Yeah, very much so. And increasingly, the Taiwanese public doesn't want to reunify with China. And over the years, we've seen any number of times when tension between China and Taiwan and tension between China and the US about Taiwan has risen sharply and then fallen. And there seems to be a concern right now that it's on the uptick again. That's exactly right. Partly because I think Beijing believes that their chances of persuading the Taiwanese people that they should, quote unquote, return to China is diminishing and their confidence in their own military abilities is at the same time increasing. And your story really takes a look at possibility, no matter how remote at the moment, that China may choose to take military action against Taiwan. Taiwan and what you look at in the story is how capable is China's military? So maybe tell us about China's military capability. So this is really one of the big unknown questions when it comes to the US's competition with China. I don't think anyone on that doubts the People's Liberation Army has made incredible progress over the last two or three decades. So if you look at the raw numbers, the PLA looks almost invincible. China has 2 million active duty troops compared to about 1 .3 million in the US. It has a 350 ship Navy, giving it the biggest Navy in the world. And it has the third largest aviation force in the world with about 2 ,800 planes. What's even more concerning from Washington's perspective is that China's military capability is increasingly modernized. They have an extraordinarily well equipped rocket force, which is capable of taking out US ships and surface vessels. They have a capable fourth generation aircraft, and they have a space force and cyber capability, which is growing day by day. The question comes when you

A Young Fire Spouse's Journey With Her Husband's Cancer Diagnosis
"A few episodes back we sat down with Diane Carter and she shared her story of her husband's line of duty, panther diagnosis, and her relentless pursuit of making turnouts safe and just exploring PFAS and all that fun stuff about exposure in the workplace. If you haven't listened to that podcast, we definitely recommend it. And today we actually have another first responder spouse, Brittany San Pedro with us to share her story about her husband's line of duty cancer diagnosis. Brittany, welcome. Thank you for having me. Brittany San Pedro is a speech therapist assistant, wife to a firefighter and a mom. She has been with her husband for 10 years and has an 18 month old and another one on the way. In late October of 2019, Brittany's husband at the age of 30 and 10 years into his career noticed a small lump on his collarbone. After several tests, he was diagnosed with stage two Hodgkin's lymphoma. He was the first line of duty cancer diagnosis in the history of Greeley fire department. Since then, many changes to screening and early detection have been made as a department. As a result, several malignant polyps, skin samples and ultrasound readings have potentially saved the lives of other firefighters within the department. Today, Brittany is sharing her story to help anyone who may feel alone or scared, especially after a health diagnosis. She also wants to encourage change and promote the importance of regular screenings and early detection. Okay. So tell us your story a little bit, the whole thing. We want to hear it. My husband came home one day and just kind of mentioned like, Hey, I got out of the shower at work and I just noticed I had a bump on my collarbone. And he's like, you know, I haven't had my yearly physical. I'm going to go in, have it checked out. And you know, none of us, we weren't really worried. And we were just kind of like, okay, he has a bump. We're going to go check it out. And his general practitioner ran blood work and then started him on antibiotics thinking it was just an infection. His body was fighting something and blood work came back fine. It didn't go down with the antibiotics. At that point, they did an X -ray. Everything looked fine. The blood work looks fine. And his general practitioner asked him what he did for a living. And you know, you fill out that survey, you tell him what you do. And he's like, you know what? We're going to, we're going to keep going. We're going to keep looking. If you're fine with that. You're a firefighter. It just makes me sit better if I, if I keep digging a little bit. And he kept going in for appointments. He then got an ultrasound done. After the ultrasound, he scheduled an appointment for a biopsy to have it looked at. And at this point we hadn't even heard the word cancer yet. I at the time was a special education teacher at a school across the street from the hospital where he was having the biopsy done. He texted me and let me know he was going in. He was super nervous. I let my co -teacher know, Hey, my husband doesn't usually have his feelings out like that. And lets me know that he's there. He's like, that's fine. Go. I ran across the street and he went back. Everything was fine. He came back out and then he just had this look on his face that I'll never forget his eyes started welling up with tears. And I guess the doctor who performed the doctor tech who performed the biopsy, you know, before his doctor had a chance to say anything told him, yeah, this is pretty typical for lymphoma. And both of us were just kind of like, what is happening? What's going on? We were hit by a bus. We didn't even know that this is something that they were looking for. And we called our closest friends, our little mini fire family. And we were like, Hey, we need support tonight. And in a minute, everybody was together at one of our friends house and everybody was just talking trash about the guy who stepped out of his scope of practice and said some things he maybe shouldn't have. And we were like, it's not going to happen. He's too young. He's healthy. There's no way. So a couple of days went by, we got a phone call saying that the doctor wanted us to come in, even though it was his day off and usually not a great sign. So we were a little nervous going in. And then when we sat down, he let us know that they, they did find it to be Hodgkin's lymphoma and that they needed to start figuring out what stage he was at coming up with a plan, trying to figure out everything. And we were both strong until they asked us, you know, are you guys, you guys are young. You guys just got married, just bought a house. Like you, are you guys wanting to start a family at some point? And I just started bawling because I already knew what was coming. And he said, I recommend that you reach out to a fertility specialist, if that's something that you would want to do. And you start reaching out to all your resources. And we did, after that, he started chemo in like less than a week. It was probably like four or five days. And he had chemo, he had it on Christmas. He had it, like he started in November, had it for about six months and then took a little bit of a break and then started radiation. And then after he went through radiation, his end date was March 14th, 2020. And then right after that, the next day the world shut down, but it was just, you know, for us, it was just amazing because he never, we never went to an appointment alone. It was just such a somber time. We were just had this dark cloud of stress and not knowing and anything. And at the same time when it was so dark, such a beautiful thing, because we had the department bringing rigs and down we packed that cancer center and, you know, we had some of his best friends, like his best man and another Lieutenant was there at every single one of his chemo appointments. And, you know, everybody kind of band together for him. It was kind of, it was a beautiful thing to see everybody supporting each other and making sure that he was never alone. You know, the Terry Farrell Fund reached out right away. You know, they did a cut it for cancer for him. It was just something that they hadn't ever experienced before at the, this department. And we were, we were just kind of overwhelmed with all the support that we had,

"You kind of got a you got to kind of creep in early on this story so let me give you little something background happened had to me why are you telling us a personal story because it's about me but it's not really about me it's about this global war on the truth and censorship and how i found myself in the middle of it is almost totally by chance so last was it last week or another week before the week before I traveled to Texas to do a book signing and while I was there my friend Steven Crowder who's got a show Louder with Crowder he was actually on the radio show some of you heard it he's the guy who broke the Nashville Manifesto story he's been around for he's been streaming you know longer than I've been on the air uh so he's been at this a long time he's got a very popular show called Louder with Crowder and we developed sort of a business kind of relationship because I'm investor an in Rumble and he's one of Rumble's most popular talents if not the most he gets a ton of streams he does ton a of content so we struck up a friendship I promised his story as an ending so I said today when I'm out there you know I he'd asked me to come on the show I'd asked him to go on the show was it a perfect kind of symbiotic thing I said while I'm out in Dallas where his studio was I said why don't we do a show together and his team who couldn't have been more gracious about it they were like yeah matter of fact let's do a two hour live stream we'll do an hour your show an hour an Steve show and the only difference between Steve show and mine is I'm exclusively on Rumble I I quit YouTube a long time ago after I quit YouTube they tried to say they fired me which was hilarious because my last video on YouTube was literally titled why I'm leaving YouTube so whatever but you do is that you can't leave we we terminated you okay whatever guys if you need to tell yourself that you go right ahead but I'm either either way I'm not on YouTube but but Steve is he does some content on YouTube so because I was banned from YouTube you were banned from YouTube Dan how is that what did you do I did something really horrible do you remember what it was Jim it was bad I deserved it folks yeah yeah I did that but come on it's Jim does remember so I did this thing listen folks get ready if you got kids around you you might want to turn the radio down this is gonna be it's definitely not appropriate for children so I went on on YouTube and I proceeded to tell people that those surgical masks people were wearing when COVID was peeking out and everybody was freaking out I told people on my YouTube channel that they don't stop COVID and that's what happened this is exactly how you were there we didn't even know he said so crazy Jim had a report that was the response in YouTube wait Jim Jim can you play it out again this was the actual was Jim's got this on tape he was actually had a reporter on the ground got this all on tape I went on a show and I said folks bad news for you those surgical masks are not gonna stop the transmission of COVID and then this happened okay that's checkers that's okay reject that's not the actual although it probably was the actual footage I'm okay not by joking the way that's really why I was banned from YouTube now that's not the real reason I was banned from I am HO in my opinion the real reason I was banned from YouTube is because was I an investor and a rather large one in their competitor which is rumble where my podcast and Steven Crowder's is hosted so the strange thing happened this weekend that yesterday I see account tweets out that he's got another strike from YouTube two strikes for having me on he tweeted out YouTube wants is dead they just hit us with two strikes one on the main channel one on Crowder bits just for having Dan Bongino on we're one strike away from being permanently banned he notes this is why we have mug club and rumble it's the only way to support support the mission can you imagine being a trillion dollar company alphabet google that owns YouTube finding a little old Dan Bongino so scary that he goes on Steven Crowder show which makes its way onto YouTube and you threatened to ban him permanently from the platform and issue them two strikes for doing it folks listen there's a serious uh there's kind of a serious off ramp to this highway I'm on here the reason I'm telling you this story is can if happen it to me it can happen to you I had an option when YouTube started relentlessly attacking my channel for telling you the truth about COVID I had prepared myself by going over to not only investing in rumble but to bringing my audience over to rumble we had 800 ,000 subscribers on youtube we now have 2 almost .97 3 million subscribers on rumble so it's not even close so I had a backup what I'm trying to tell you is if we lose this next election and they know they've got the censors and the Biden regime and the been in charge for the next four

The REAL Reason Dan Was Banned From YouTube
"From I am HO in my opinion the real reason I was banned from YouTube is because was I an investor and a rather large one in their competitor which is rumble where my podcast and Steven Crowder's is hosted so the strange thing happened this weekend that yesterday I see account tweets out that he's got another strike from YouTube two strikes for having me on he tweeted out YouTube wants is dead they just hit us with two strikes one on the main channel one on Crowder bits just for having Dan Bongino on we're one strike away from being permanently banned he notes this is why we have mug club and rumble it's the only way to support support the mission can you imagine being a trillion dollar company alphabet google that owns YouTube finding a little old Dan Bongino so scary that he goes on Steven Crowder show which makes its way onto YouTube and you threatened to ban him permanently from the platform and issue them two strikes for doing it folks listen there's a serious uh there's kind of a serious off ramp to this highway I'm on here the reason I'm telling you this story is can if happen it to me it can happen to you I had an option when YouTube started relentlessly attacking my channel for telling you the truth about COVID I had prepared myself by going over to not only investing in rumble but to bringing my audience over to rumble we had 800 ,000 subscribers on youtube we now have 2 almost .97 3 million subscribers on rumble so it's not even close so I had a backup what I'm trying to tell you is if we lose this next election and they know they've got the censors and the Biden regime and the been in charge for the next four years folks I'm warning you right now you're next you are running out of opportunities to set up a presence in the parallel economy I'm not telling you to get off youtube or or twitter or anything like that or twitter is actually ok now but facebook I'm telling not you I'm on Facebook I'm not time we talk on Facebook a lot of us matter of fact the guy who couldn't figure out if you know you know was on Facebook right I'm not telling you to get off it stay there I'm simply telling you you are insane to not set up a separate and distinct profile for yourself in the parallel economy I'm telling you even even relaxing lady Rachel's telling

Democrats Are Threatening Israel's Very Survival
"You know it's interesting when israel one it's independence the state of israel and people get confused with that and how how long the jewish people have been there the jewish people have been there for four thousand years but the modern state of israel the establishment of the state of israel it was proclaimed on may 14 1948 within a few hours president truman issued from the white house a statement that said the states united government recognized the provisional government as the de facto authority the new state of israel two days later the soviet union followed with a formal recognition to an exchange of letters by stalin's right -hand man stoff and should talk the foreign minister of israel and it said confirm your receipt of your telegram on may 16 in which you inform the government of the ussr of the proclamation on the basis of the revolution of the united nations resolution november 1947 of the creation of alzheimer the independent state of israel make requests for the recognition of state of by the ussr i inform you in this letter that the government of the ussr has decided to recognize officially the state of israel and its provisional government so today's so two days later the soviet union recognizes israel and from that moment until 1967 formal diplomatic relations but seven diplomatic relations were broken off and weren't resumed until 1991 one the . also israel's closest ally the state of israel was established was not the united states it was france. france was israel's closest ally and it's believed that france provided israel with certain technological information to enable them to build atomic weapons it was france. eisenhower was a little chilly toward israel at least at the toward the end by the despite what some israeli officials are saying at the highest levels in even worse than obama even though obama's acolytes are surrounding biden in instituting their ideological agenda the fact is you can see since obama's presidency that the demographics of the country enhance the demographics of the democrat party have significantly changed. there's more islamists operating under the umbrella of the democrat and receiving tenure and receiving student visas and all the rest of it than during the obama administration and exist big time now and being funded by billionaires and they're being lost network and others

Aunt Retells the Tragic Story of J6 Defendant Matthew Perna
"Rest of your holiday weekend and please enjoy the show. Well if you listen to my show before I don't know if you just tuned in or when you tuned in but I was telling a story about these new January 6 videos which now clearly tell an entirely different side of the story I said a lot of stuff happened on that day we've talked about it candidly fairly on this show for a very long time what bothers me is the left was looking to hide an entirely different side of what happened that day not us it was them doing because they don't want you to see the entire story they want you to see what just died and one of the stories is about a really tragic case of a gentleman named Matthew Perna and here to discuss that is a good friend and a real warrior his aunt Jerry thanks a lot for taking the time we really appreciate you coming on today thank you for having me on well we met through police tapes this movie we did and I remember seeing you on the Dinesh had sent me kind of a screener rough cut of the movie and I'm watching you talk about Matthew and what happened to Matthew and my wife I looked over and she couldn't take it neither could I it was such a horrible story if you could tell the audience what happened with Matthew let's and yeah just just tell them what happened your your version of it is really kind of tough to listen to but everyone needs to hear it well Matt went to the Capitol on January 6th he thought going he to was be part of a celebration that day the crowd was big and he got you know into the crowd and it was announced that Mike Pence had certified the election results it wasn't exactly what what he had planned and as the crowd moved forward they went to the Capitol and he was in a huge crowd of people people and he did go in he went inside a door that had been previously opened he walked around inside the building filming from his phone and he walked out he went back to his hotel he made a live Facebook video talking about the day the video is still visible on our website he was very calm and cool just talking about the day and he he made a comment that he said Mike Pence proved himself to be a traitor today and he said but don't worry don't worry this isn't over yet and that was basically the way he said it and about a week or so later I'm sitting on my couch in Florida maps up in Pennsylvania and I saw a post Facebook that said the FBI had posted pictures of people from January 6 so I clicked on the link and I was scrolling through the photos and lo and behold there's Matt's picture and I was speechless I didn't know what to do so I called one of my brothers up in Pennsylvania and I said you need to go to Matt's house first thing in the morning his picture is on the FBI website so six o 'clock in the morning warning my brother shows up at Matt's house and Matt already knew that his picture was there and he and he had contacted a retired police officer and asked him what he should do he told him to call the local office saw the FBI in Newcastle Pennsylvania so at nine o 'clock in the morning that's exactly what Matt did and Matt seriously thought this was all a huge misunderstanding he just needed to explain that he didn't hurt anybody he didn't break anything and he thought this would be resolved and so the FBI came out to talk to him and I had a couple of my brothers there present as witnesses and they listened to Matt's story and they made it seem like yeah I was just a misunderstanding and they left and Matt called me and I said you know I don't like the sound of this I said I'm coming home so I a got on plane and I flew home that week and I said we need to get you a lawyer and we did we got him a lo lawyer and and behold the FBI showed up and arrested Matt that week while I was there and they took him in and they processed him and they may let him go he was not placed in custody he was told he had to report to somebody if he were to leave the was charged with four misdemeanors the regular ones the rating disorderly and conduct and we met with his attorney his attorney said oh this is nothing this is just a slap on the wrist you've never been arrested for anything before don't worry about it I've got this well then they slapped 220 of the J sixers with the felony charge of obstruction of an official proceeding and that's when it got serious but his attorney was still saying don't worry this is this is nothing so somebody sent me video that they had of matt outside of the capitol at 2 55 in the afternoon and I says well that's almost 45 minutes after congress adjourned you hadn't even gone inside yet he said no so I thought well there's your evidence right there it's right there on video you didn't go inside you didn't obstruct anything so I sent it to his attorney and his attorney said it nope doesn't matter they said he was there so it was an obstruction and and that video isn't going to help so this was a start of a nightmare a nightmare watching matt worry and deteriorate because the newspaper facebook social media everybody was brutal they were showing the video from january six that everybody has seen countless times and calling it an insurrection and matt's community turned against him his business which he ran through social media was taken away from him all of the accounts were he disabled and didn't want to leave his house anymore and he would have meetings with his attorney that were you would have to go into the attorney's office and they would meet with the judge via zoom because of the whole covid mess and they would cancel those meetings at the very last minute every and postpone them and it would just wear on him because he would prepare himself mentally what he was going to say and they would say up it's been canceled and this went on for quite some time and um that was deteriorating something awful he no longer ran he was a runner he gave away his television because he couldn't stand to see the news anymore with his picture on his dad was who is my oldest brother has parkinson's disease and it was affecting him something awful and matt felt very guilty about the effect it had on his dad and as the year was coming to a close it was almost christmas matt had lost a ton of wait he was vomiting blood at this point and he told his attorney just i just need this to be over what's the best way for this to be over his attorney said plead guilty you're looking at six to twelve months in a federal prison camp minimum security and matt says okay what then i'll that's do and matt was going to he told me i'll turn it into a positive he said i'll teach my fellow inmates help them get their geds i'll work on another degree for myself at the time matt was very intelligent and very giving so that was settled and the hearing was scheduled for march the third and a week before the hearing matt called his attorney and he said i just have a bad feeling it's just a counseling came over me so that's the day my mother died march the third his attorney says well matt i have bad case they've postponed your your hearing again to april fool's day and the prosecution is looking to add a sentencing enhancement of terrorism and this could have taken matt's sentence to nine years in jail matt called me on the phone sobbing that day uncontrollably sobbing sobbing i could not hardly understand him he kept telling me he he loved me kept apologizing to me for losing all of my friends because i lost every friend i almost almost everyone i ever had over this and i told him don't worry we're going to get through this together don't worry god's not going to let you go to jail i promise you this and he told me he loved me i told him i loved

Successful People Don't Get Stuck on Failure
"Second year in my business, second year, not first year, not first month, second year in business, my phone didn't ring for two weeks. And a lot of people were saying, what are you going to do? I mean, you know, how are you going to make this work? Your phone's not ringing. What are you going to do? I could have easily quit. I could have easily tapped out right there. And then a few years later, I didn't tap out. It's gradually started growing. And my sixth year in business, I was applying for a building loan because we had plans to build a new building to get out of the garage that we had built the second year in business. And I went to five banks, five banks. They said, no way, no way, no way, no way, no way. And I could have easily thrown in the towel, tapped out right there. But I didn't. The sixth, the bank said, yes. And we were in business. I mean, we were building a building. And I got, you know, I got all the walls built on that building and I hired a contractor and we had to do a lot of, remove a lot of trees and do all the foundational work and all that kind of stuff. But they were putting the walls up and got all four walls up and they didn't have them supported well. And one Saturday they collapsed. Yeah, that's, a lot of people would have thrown in a towel right there because it's just, I don't give up easily. The contractor, it was his fault. He didn't have them supported properly. He fixed it, ended up building the building, blah, blah, blah. So you know, things happen. The list, my list of obstacles and failures go on and on and on and on and on. And successful people, they don't get stuck on failure. Failure is just part of the process to succeeding. And that's what you got to know.

Uncovering the Deceptive Strategy Against RFK
"Now that I think it's critical. What am I getting? I'm getting at polls and RFK junior folks I'm telling You you are getting so played by this story They want you so badly when I say I you mean the DeSantis Trump crowd I Haley's kind of doing okay did the Republicans is what I'm at getting they want you to help them get RFK out of the race and the way they're doing it is Really deceitful, and if you know politics like I do having run and been on kind of the other Side of this operation you see right through it. It's so transparent. It's my dipsy -do -flip -a -roo theory Whatever the Democrats are telling you to do do the opposite So I've noticed all these media outlets Left -wing media outlets all reporting on oh my gosh RFK man this guy's gonna really hurt Donald Trump and Mike what's the first thing you should be thinking the dipsy -do -flip -a -roo read Headline the in reverse RFK will help Donald Trump. They're exactly right not hurt. There's nothing Left -wing media lies to you about everything always measure how you should Spawn based on the opposite of what they're doing if they're worried about a story you should be excited about a story If they're telling you get RFK out of the race he's gonna hurt you it means he's gonna help you a lot of people fell for this And though they're like ice because I still see it on social media on Twitter particularly Where people are like Man this guy's gonna steal a bunch of voters from Trump folks this guy's gonna take about three to Four voters away from Biden for every one he takes away from Trump Here it is always bring the receipts baby always new poll general election Harvard Harris Harvard Harris, so we're not talking about some like poll operation here including undecided voters Trump Biden straight -up head -to -head match no third -party candidates included Trump wins by 748 41 folks before I get to the RFK thing. This is news enough. Why go to Tom Bevin social media feed Twitter he has a tweet up right now Pointing out something really interesting about this number here Trump 48 Biden 41 in 2016 when Trump won as you remember I can make a strong case about to But that's for another day in 2016 when he was sitting in the White House folks Donald Trump out at 46 .2 he's at 48 now He peaked out at 46 .2. He's nearly two points better right

What Is the Richmond Promise? Executive Director Chris Whitmore Explains
"What is the Richmond Promise and what are your goals with the organization in the community? Absolutely. So Richmond Promise is a post -secondary access and success initiative that launched here in Richmond in 2016. And Richmond Promise is actually an initiative of the Richmond City Council. So our, our city leaders created Richmond Promise and created our organization using $35 million in seed funding that has been on a pay schedule here at Richmond Promise over the course of nine years. And so our seed funding that the city council secured for us actually sunsets next year. But as a post -secondary access and success initiative, our goals are to help young people in Richmond access higher education pathways and educate young people about what higher education pathways exist for them to access. We support students with a scholarship that is applicable for up to six years of their undergraduate experience. And our scholars, and that's a scholarship of $1 ,500 per year, again, for up to six years of a student's undergraduate education. And our scholars can use that scholarship at any not -for -profit and accredited two -year college, four -year college or university or career technical education program throughout the United States. Now I'll talk about that a little bit more. So that's higher education access and scholarship support. When our students are in college or are in a career technical education program, we also support them with scholar success programming. And this is wraparound support to ensure that students not only get accepted into a degree program or into a career technical education program, but they're also supported to ensure that they earn their degrees, earn their certifications. And then after they've reached that milestone, and this is a growing portion of our organization, we are building out our career access and success programming to ensure, again, that young people not only go to college, but they can come back home to Richmond. They can come back home to the Bay Area or wherever in the world they choose to be and have support in pursuit of their career ambitions and career goals. So since 2016, our organization has supported more than 3 ,300 Richmond youth, and on average, we serve a little more than 1 ,300 youth per year who are scholars in our program. So that's a quick snapshot of what we

Media Matters Tries to Destroy Elon Musk's X
"Linda Yaccarino said, if you know me, you know I'm committed to truth and fairness. Here's the truth. Not a single authentic user on X saw IBM, Comcast or Oracle ads next to content in the Media Matters article. Only two users saw an Apple ad next to the content, at least one of which was Media Matters. Data wins over manipulation or allegations don't mean manipulated stand with X. Yeah, this is a multidimensional hit job. And they're trying to go after Elon personally and criminally. They're trying to go after his liberation of the platform, all because Elon has now become a serious threat to the regime, to the unit party and the left by allowing us to speak, by allowing us to challenge preexisting orthodoxies, allowing us to incubate elite opinion in a way that the bad guys don't like. And so, you know, Michael, talk a little bit more about Media Matters. I don't know if they've targeted you. You know, they come after us quite a lot. Who funds these guys? It's it's it's a great question. You know, we see Rumble, we see X, you know, they're they're suing intensely. What else do we know about it? Well, we know that their executives make a whole lot of money in order to stifle your freedom of speech. In fact, the CEO, a woman named Angelo Caruso, Caruso makes four hundred fifty three thousand dollars a year. The person who's been in the news all week is actually David Brock. And he's arguably the most ideologically weaponized. He's the chairman of Media Matters, making two hundred ninety two thousand dollars a year in order to stifle your speech. But what's interesting is that you highlighted earlier Media Matters doesn't just not like Elon. They don't like you having the right to speak freely. Their donors and funders rely on them keeping the truth hidden and behind the curtain. The reality is X has been a platform that has provided for millions of Americans to learn the truth of what's happening in society in a way that never would have happened had X been under its formal leadership under Twitter. So we never would have learned about all that happened with the laptop and Hunter Biden. We never would have learned about the malfeasance in Ukraine. We never would have learned even recently about the January six tapes because so much of the effort for releasing the tapes, which I'm glad Speaker Johnson did, happened on X. So Media Matters can't lose their grip on power. Their grip on power relies on you not knowing the truth. And so we're seeing, as you described, this very coordinated hit job from people who are paid very, very highly in order to stifle your freedom of speech. One other thing that I will note is that some of the executives that Media Matters has tried to pull to drop their ads are people like NBC. NBC is a really interesting case because just last week NBC had a journalist of theirs that was defending somebody, an editor in chief of a progressive news site that ended up being outed as a pedophile, is now being charged with child pornography counts in one of the most egregious cases that law enforcement has ever seen in that area. So we're seeing that this virtue signaling is really just meant to target you. They don't want you to speak freely. And even these advertisers are backing people that are corrupt and dysfunctional. And yet Media Matters is silent on it. So Media Matters hasn't called out NBC about that, but they'll gladly call out NBC on a fake story that is not rooted in real data. And I'm glad that X ultimately is calling it

PublicSq's Michael Seifert on Avoiding the Anti-Musk Lynch Mob
"Our next guest will be at America Fest speaking all about the new corporate warfare. Joining us now is Michael Seifert from Public Square. You should check out the Public Square app and download it. So Michael, I tweeted this out. It was seen by a couple million people. Now, more than ever, we need to stand with X and defend free speech. We must boycott the ex -boycotters. Apple, Comcast, IBM, Lionsgate, NBCUniversal, Paramount, Home Depot, Warner Brothers. They all are boycotting X. Make it hurt, end subscriptions, don't go to their movies, light them up in their comments, cancel the new set of AirPods, etc. Stop supporting those who hate free speech. Michael, your reaction? Well, I think it's pretty simple. The new battlefront is in the world of economics. Consumer spending is your new weapon. And the world of politics has played out very differently than it was even 20 years ago. 20 years ago, this stuff was happening, but it was behind the scenes. Companies would wage war on your values, but they would do it without social media exposing them. But now we are learning in this new digital age just how much the executives at these companies hate your right to speak your mind. Media Matters running a fake hit piece on Elon Musk and on X simply because of his views to value free speech. These companies then kowtow to Media Matters because they're so afraid of losing their virtue signaling points out in the public square. And what ends up happening? Well, X is stripped of significant ad dollars, but we the people had a clear response. We wanted to stand up and support X because we want to support free speech. The people want liberty, not tyranny. And that is now being played out in the world of advertising, consumer spending and engaging media content. It's as you described, Charlie, if we want to win, it's got to be bigger than just voting every two and four years. It has to be with the movies we watch, the way we spend our time, how we spend our dollars and the platforms we engage in. So good on X for standing strong. And we as a company at public square are proud to continue supporting

Nasir Acikgoz's Advice to the Next Generation: "Everything Is Achievable"
"For you being someone that touches so much that is powerful at the end of the day that can make things happen You've overcome so much being a immigrant with a dream and a vision not knowing whether you would be where you are here today You know doing what you're doing today and just going after it becoming fearless conquering so much You know having God guide you and on this path knowing that things happen for a reason Even if it might not be the way you wanted it to be it happened for a reason just like in finance I don't want to take this course But now you do you know what a P &L is and you can look at it and see if you guys are losing or winning What do you see for the future of the green industry and you know the youth when it comes to just you know? Your path and your career and what you've been able to do and how you're still gonna be able to do more What do you see for the green industry and the youth? What would you have to say to them youth like their new? Younger generations or even people that are that are sitting on the sidelines of going after something that they think is unachievable Everything is that you will you put in your mind Watch once you set your mind to it you work again You know, first of all, you got to believe in God God gives you a talent. I give God sees everybody talents You got to find it And you put something in your mind you work you wake up in the morning you dedicate yourself Into it work hard, but well, you gotta work hard because some people say I'm doing this and I'm working but it's not happening Then that means you didn't work, you know, you didn't work or it's not what you're supposed to be. They're supposed to me And it'll happen in in the green industry and the youth what I would say is You have an idea Try it say look. You know what? I want to Do it in your mind, obviously you have to do it and you have to draw, you know draw what how you want to do it get the first prototype or or first production depending on the products and in like I said in you know, you know beginning of the pop kit a podcast that it's The opportunities are limitless. There's no limit. So it's gonna happen. Believe me it If it's a product you put it out there With the right time right person right platform people will see it and they're gonna start buying it Or a service again. It doesn't have to be a product. It could be a service and And they're gonna start using it. So Again, the green industry. I love it You know, like I said, I start as a hobby, you know a side business, you know for one of my tile businesses but it became a an addiction to me and and And it's it's a you know, I'm like, I'm like, you know what? It's a good business. It's a huge business And there's no limit. There's no I would say oh you can't there's no you can't do this in this business. You can do anything you know with plants with rocks with Synthetic turf now, you know everything with everything who would have thought we're gonna have synthetic turf back there Maybe would have left a huge movement I don't I don't know what that that industry is now, but it's gotta be over a billion dollar industry at this point It's billions of dollars right now Yes And in other states actually they're building like coffee shops kind of thing like you go there some brand names that came out you go You know, the products are out there. It's like a boutique you pick the product you have your drink Yeah, the coffee or whatnot. You're like talking to the people and at the same time you're purchasing it. It's So people came out with the idea and they they didn't think it's not gonna work out and it worked out for them Maybe it took a while to adapt to that, you know product into the industry or the service But if you think it's gonna work and you did your research, right? It's gonna work and it's gonna happen So never say never never say I can't do it Never say this is not gonna sell never say people will not call me for this service People will not call me for this product if you believe in yourself believe in the product Obviously first you got to believe in God, you know, it's gonna all all happen even even if you guys are going to school right now and you're like man the Industry that I picked, you know people in my in my niche of what I'm gonna go study They only make sixty thousand dollars a year. That doesn't matter. That means that they make sixty thousand dollars exactly There's you know you can you can Get in that same Ballpark and blow it up and become something so much more do something impactful that can touch the whole industry and this industry Did thirty six point four billion dollars the plant industry for the state of Florida last year alone for 2023 It was the strongest year. Well, no 2022 was the strongest year Out of all the years, but the fact that it was done and that's just in plant sales 6 .4. Yeah billion dollars for Florida imagine only

"I hope so have they confirmed it or not according to this article and i couldn't find anything else that said that they did who posted a new york post oh people that are the epitome of tabloids so there yep i'm moving along we have three stories left and they're going to be quick ones The national archives decided to start to create a task force on racism. And that's has a sermon that the rotunda is structurally racist and stay spaces and trigger warnings. What is the national archives doing about as far as race national arca. Well they have decided that. The rotunda is an example of structural racism and the founding fathers fathers are shady to positively. What is the rotunda supposed to be about. I don't know. That's what the national archives of saying. That's not me saying. I've just read it. What the story said god right exact date. They wrote a very long and extensive report on this Some examples of structural racism were provided in the summary of the report including legacy descriptions that that use racial slurs and harmful language to describe bypass Communities which includes actual racial slurs alongside terms such as elderly handicapped and illegal alien. Okay so to my knowledge. The rotunda is basically a culmination of what made america correct. Okay so why do you go back in history and literally changed the wording of anything. Because aren't we supposed to go look at it and go. Hey this is happened at that time. This is what was going on in the country or the world at that time. And then they go. We went from being absolutely dumb asses for lack of a better term to be an okay. We understand that. This is not how plucking people are supposed to work like. Isn't that what you're supposed to do yet. But but that's not how this works. That's that's not how any of this works out. Come on we had the charters of freedom in the rotunda. The report also called for trigger warnings to put in place with historical content of four one to forewarn audiences of content that may cause intense physiological and psychological symptoms. Well if that's the case then everything else. that's in. The national archives needs to have the fucking trigger warning. There is some shit. In the fucking national archives that is absolutely disgustingly horrid when it comes to what is said in an odd seen some of it. So we're gonna go and say. Hey these people that made america. They're bad people. We need to tell you madam before you go reading about them in the national archives at the retuned but everything else is up for okay. That's just how they want it to be written is that is that seriously what we've gone to that is what they've come to exactly bo moving along. Apparently there's also heat inequality in the county in a county washington. Its hottest were vulnerable. Less affluent lich the headline is he inequality in county. Its hottest were vulnerable less affluent live. So what you're telling me. The sun is racist. Yes in king. County according to the seattle times seattle. I'm listening to your triggers. fucking hail. Man i can't done as meteorologists expect. Some communities are likely to suffer much. Worse than neighbors. Mere miles away takeaway comes from a new map or temperature data Throughout king county collected during a scorching day. Last july us. They are comparing a city with a rural area. That will be my guess. Because if that's the case of course the city is going to be hotter. You what that would be mike. And then. Finally the last story of the evening traffic accidents fatalities now. Examples of structural racism because of research based decisions and by the way by the way bo highways are also racist black. And we ride on them. It's anything it's over. I'm not finished not that way way. I'm not that they're black. We ride on them and the light line. So you want to do if that didn't push fucking buttons on. Dvd radio so the article is starts out with its anything or anyone of racism apparently not now even occurrences of traffic accidents that result if the talented fatalities reek of systemic racism. At least experts are claiming. So good. This and i'm so glad that we have the listener base that gets that. It's all fun and games and i'm not being serious 'cause we would so be but right now so according to calvin clan e. He's the president of smart growth america. He's an you see this this disproportionately in black and brown communities often because of the past you go to black and brown communities to go to lower income communities you don't see many sidewalks you don't see as many pedestrian crossing the types of street that go through black and brown neighborhoods are like many highways where the speed limit is thirty five or forty five realistic hill down. Black people tend to be over represented as walkers in this country is in many cases. Black folks can afford motor vehicles and experience outliving. We're talking eight to ten dollars for. It's a perfect storm of lot of wearable forces..

"The veteran community and their families and all that good stuff so please hit them up Excuse me that one was for you. I let me know when you guys are ready. Forward news we've been waiting for the past. I know i know right well because frigging horse. All right we'll just get started so first story of the night is flirting. The next victim of millennials metaphorical murder spree. An opinion post. I know right So basically says while the sexual weatherman have predicted an exceptionally steamy post covert summer those hoping to mark the end of their long confinement with an old school office. Romance may want to keep their masks and pants on Yeah so did. They did a survey of thousand american workers and ninety three percent of women considered workplace flirting inappropriate while only twenty seven percent of men founded agrees some times acceptable. And i'm like. Why is this news like this. How long has this been going on this whole workplace flirting thing like you. Just the right person. It's you to say you. What most of the fucking flirting that. I encountered when i was able to work in an actual workplace came from the fucking females. They flirted with me nine times out of ten. I was in the world. Hebei like i did not do that in the workplace. I do not condone that whatsoever. But the fact that it was mainly females. That done it to me in the workplace. And you're selling me that women don't why go fuck yourself newsweek. Oh man. I know so so then it goes on like later on in the article it says. Of course it's more people started living more their lives online. That stigma faded of lake the whole workplace forthing crap but it didn't disappear instead it took a route in a moore's of shifting cultural norms. These included the rise of dating apps the metoo movement the campus sexual assault panic a growing fixation on privilege and power dynamics in interpersonal relationships and a belief in consent as a safeguard against any and all negative sexual experiences. Add to that. This spiking reasoning zaidi and depression among young millennials and zimmer's who are also dating less than having less sex than the generations before them. We'll the fucker offers are we. I mean we do radio show on soon. Does that make us. I was about to say this zimmer's but We are zimmer's of this millennium or holy shit. Apparently it's not online dating that's creepy. It's everything else that's creepy. Because selling your body online is not creepy at all but flirting in the workplace. Definitely is if you're selling me your feet for fifteen dollars a piece and then san. Oh my god. This guy hit on me and public. And i headed. You're what's wrong with the fucking world. Like i'm not saying it's rhone sale. Your fucking veep for twenty dollars a piece on the internet but turning around and this guy hollered. Hey good luck in. And i think that's just you are part of the puck and problem. Zimmer's our generation z. generation z. Anyway the people that are born between the mid to late nineteen ninety s and early. Two thousand ten's to do okay. This is what kills me with naming generations at one point. Me and google were flocking intendo generation. Then we're the generation. Then we were the fucking millennials then then like z. Wasn't even around. They hadn't even z z. Was two thousand up you now now. Fucking generation z. Is fucking ninety six to to make up your fucking gen z anymore. It's zumur to most members of generation z. Our children of generation x. god that doesn't even make sense. What's my head hurt. Stop. it is also known as millennials correct. I think that's us. No no no. No no no no i don't know either. That's what i'm saying. Let's name every generation. What is supposed to be but let's change it sits in millions and then tell ever. Oh yeah you're the wrong. Generation like your generation wire the millennials. You're the generation. That's wrong like every generation is wrong. If you wanna get down to the brass tacks we've all this world to some extent right. Oh my god well. My daughter is a zumur. I guess we know she's zumur. Ninety five fucking only by black markswoman goddamn pavement. Break the law all hope. That's so funny. I swear i agree. I can't go all these. They're going to remake days of thunder and they're going to call it. Days of zuma and flagging jada is going to be the main point of the entire story. You know what. I also remember a while back. Everyone boring after gen. Z was offended because nothing comes after z in the alphabet. So they count. Wait a minute that come from your the nothing generation generation zilch pretty much all right moving along. We'll jump over to the air force. Real quick headline reads airforce previews new exercises on fitness test menu. You value meal to starting starting early next year. The air force will offer a menu of options that fall into three categories aerobic exercise core strength upper body strength in addition to the current one and a half mile run to test cardiovascular. Health troops can choose a back and forth shuttle run if they prefer sprinting. Instead of endurance runny no no salon. They can also choose to walk birth off. You run the mile and a half or two miles. Because you may need to ron one and a half or two miles on a combat situation. A sprint is just that you run from one place to the other place in a very short amount of time very fast walking your patrolling. Your fucking patrolling. That's.

They're in washington. That's what it says. The kid is twelve. He got his first haag down there in that youtube video. I think it's bores all day. If i'm not mistaken where they were at dave is in the video. Go watch that video that video right there. That won't fly can make you cut onions. I don't know what fucking will that kids face for my god. Oh yeah yeah. I just fucking i could probably have cried during that if i was more of a sensitive man but no seriously go check that out and check out what warriors service has been doing for our veterans when it comes to hunting and i want to call it therapeutic. Cutting because it is mandate to catch up and my mandate catch up. There were so often and i talked about one better and that you could tell was in a really bad Place mentally and they went out and they They took into On these trips and it was a complete complete. Fucking one hundred and eighty turnaround The guy really got what was needed out of that. he he got some rest and relaxation mental. Refresh nece Chris and boers all day That's the the youtube video And they took twelve veteran sunning. Their dave said so. Please go check that out. And if you're a hunter or a fisherman or somebody that wants to go out and spend a day with the guys hit up or your service i know. They've got a lot of stuff that they're always working on and the trying to reach out to any and all veterans that might benefit from this and Get with them. Trust me you'll have a fucking blast if you're unable to hunt. I'm sure they'll work with you. it's it's more about therapy than anything so go ahead them up and i'm sure they'll be near you or somewhere you can get two or or what have you so please please please go check them out. Warriors service dot. org warrior serves. Facebook days are really good. Friend loved death. Maybe one of these days. We'll get the cub each other's balls. Make recoil jealous. Make recoil jealous. I ain't country coils while you know what's interesting though as you mentioned that the vet opening up and all that that in interviewing with a few of the people that we have on drag out rick castillo or castillo from up here battle dogs and there's a couple other different groups that if either heard about or listen to him talk and it's interesting how you get away from the regular therapy and just kind of hanging out with a group of that they open up and it works out better for them than actually regular therapy sessions do yes that camaraderie man on eighteen hell. I hadn't heard you talk that much when you were here the other day the whole town athletic known you and we fucking there was what maybe altogether five minutes of silence the entire time. You guys were hearing you guys. Were here from what nine to about one or so that day. So there's an hour six about that But i mean you get some like minded individuals around you and nine times out senior going. You're just going to open up to an extent You're gonna have fun. You're gonna laugh. You're gonna cry. You won't be serious in that situation. It's also you kinda got the visual cues that we don't have here at other than the Well it's quiet for half a second. I guess i'd better say something right. Exactly that's another thing. We don't look at the other guys getting ready to talk. We don't look at each other when we're fucking doing this show. That's a big no. No your internet doesn't like it sixes. Internet doesn't like it. what are you talking about. You ain't shit. We return to have fuck in meeting with reds place a couple of weeks ago and i can't tell you how many times he froze. The video got really small and it said the six is intercut. Net connection is low like it was hilarious This is coming from dave libby when you take a better out of their environment and put them in a new environment with other other veterans. That's when the magic happens. We all experienced that when we joined the service. And that's what we know. And he's completely right one hundred.

"Time and having the resources big resources. Oh yeah couple. Major projects that they need to do that. They're not going to be cheap just for the equipment for one or two day rental on a piece of equipment's going to run them thousand dollars a day and it's got to get everything all lined up right for that. Yeah that's where the whole networking thing comes into play. Because man you just of the money would save if they knew somebody that had stuff like that you know could lend it out. You know what i mean or even over it just for a weekend because the like you said. The rental crisis is fucking outrageous on september. Two on any kind of equipment. I'm not. I'm not sure whether it was a big ditch witch or a special excavator backhoe some type of thing but there was a bunch of drainage that they had that they were showing me that it's just going to be getting everything wind up so when they do it they can actually get the projects going and done versus having a big holes in the ground for an extended period of time l. Overall i mean. The farm was great to see and seeing remembering some of the pictures from when they first moved into the farm. And what they've got to now. It's just it's amazing. Selling merchandise without our blessing under our name like seriously got when we told you to wait until we spoke to our lawyers because the image was literally an exact replica of another companies No guy that's not how this works so we'll be playing rec fast. And we'll look into plan some mounts. We're not gonna play all night. I can say that because we'll probably be like fucking drained and exhausted after this year because that's how it usually goes for me doubt we'll play division 'cause the update for division anymore. I think it's like a six gig. Update dude yeah. It's it's a huge. I don't watch and updated that something. Dude i can't stay going back to the white house or the capitol building and the fucking lights blinking red. I can't stand that just sticks to know how long it takes to fix the goddamn out. No i was going to say. It's probably been six eight months since i've played that one. So my games all fucked a think. The last time we played the day that jack's came over is the last day that i played. And then i was just looking to see what kinda shit that i could download. That was for free. Because i'm a freebie instead a word free hollick sure okay. There's now it will say it is coming the next couple weeks freeloader. I definitely am The next couple of weeks Content might be slow coming out. Because i will be setting up my new computer. Hopefully if all turns out well it's only been how many months thirty three threes age four and a half months so yeah so then four and a half months. Since i've been waiting to fucking bitch up woke up both because there's a lot of shit that goes into just setting something up for me. The way i live Let's see oh the entire quote unquote rocket line is available at the. Dd radio store. Do you want to you guys or you guys wanna take over for like the next five and a half minutes so i can meet out. Thanks guys lunches and a half minutes of silence tribute ship. So what's one of the most memorable things that you can remember on this little weeklong trip besides sixes driving Cal mrs p double over when she saw us through that moment of the trip yup that that was definitely look of surprise. If anything right there. I'm by with game. I mean it was worth like. I said well worth gal just spending time with nevermore in jj dogs and everything else you know if something that we. I think we needed something they even needed. It was definitely worth the trip. Oh definitely getting to meet everybody. That was i mean you've met part of them for a four but it was getting to meet everybody kind of do the face to face that we hadn't been able to do even with the guy that couldn't be here tonight or two said he was going to be here and decided to bail dogs nuts. Meeting recoil in our our half hour to an hour layover turn into four turned into four. Yeah no kidding right. We gotta stay on schedule. Get farm in a reasonable time and then four hours later really shitty better go see the other one was That same little road trip getting out of the car and trying to be as quiet as we could and starting the car alarm off at three o'clock in the morning yeah. Yeah fuck as messier's shit all trips memorable just each little point has its own little thing in it now most definitely i wish i could have got back out back. Forty like simply because of the who hips and everything else but we actually have the another veteran that needed help and that was so we were jumping through hoops trying to find resources and whatnot. Bode was in as well so watching everybody kinda pool our resources and trying to help these vets out and that was that was fun to see good to see us all in work together every moment damn should never a moment and hearing the plans for the foreign both from google point of view and six point of view. Got to make things interesting. They don't don't quite mash but they're pretty darn close to what you get when a husband wife team just different ways to do it. How it order out needs to be done now did not sign the shooting range out there snack food. They have that thing a long with that missile silo. That's a Rattle no but yeah. There's no shooting range that i see anyway. I mean you can make one. There's there's plenty of room telomere all. Oh definitely back where we're six took me almost to the back forty. I mean we got a little ways down there but it's with everything that's been going on. He hasn't been able to get all the the kind of back road cleared far enough so or this spring. And as a because i usually wake up when it's pretty warm in here and It's not that hot in here. It was like sixty seven sixty eight. It was tolerable for me. So i went back to sleep and i woke up at like one fifteen and it was hot. Like seventy two degrees in my room. So i turned the air on then. I hear the dogs and ski. Be barkan and when. I say scooby was barking. I mean she was fucking bark and people. I'm not joking. She barks it. It was probably like. I said around two ish at that time. And i just got up just said i can't go back to sleep so i went ahead and got up so yeah. I guess only in can frosty of lost themselves. Yes pretty so. That's it for sock soccer on w. no joke. As soon as i said that somebody from tampa florida joined in. When i missed it again like as soon as lead overall ole to our show it started at nine. What time is it right. fifteen two where's my car. I watched that movie the other night. And i forgot how fucking stupid it is but it stood the point. It's fucking hilarious You guys remember that movie dude. Where's my car with aston future. I might have seen it once. They substance so. The premise of the whole movie is two guys. Wake up That are roommates. They have new tattoos. They can't find were the ones cars at and they have to basically say the entire universe. I'm not joking. Basically stolen that three-piece piece owners ceiling and try not to let their pizza shop. Boss find out that they're not delivering pizza instead. They're eating. But i watched it the other night and i was like gee disassociated and i was like. Oh that's what made it so great so fuck it's fucking there's one of the groups they dress up in fucking bubble wrath to go to spain and i'm like that is some shit we would have done when we were like five years old but these guys are like in their twenties and thirties. And they're supposed to be like the trekkies of this universe and in bower out and then there's two like german aliens that show up. Who are the good guys. And they remind you of haunts and bronze. From jesus lay. They're like they're seriously duplicates lawns and franz because they stink. Just i'm crying over here because slugging hans ause fucking great job. Oh my god oh speaking of movies at people's probably not seeing you guys haven't seen pawn shop chronicles. Have you guys have to watch that. That was one of paul walker's last movies. Two thousand thirteen whole each started watching it. And paul walker plays a southern redneck. White supremacists news on math. I'm not and he has this pontiac firebird at the beginning of the movie. And i'm not giving anything away. Don't don't think these are spoilers. But he said on the hood of this fleck and firebird right. And he's i think he's talking on the cellphone or he just finished talking on the cell phone and he's he's really fucking high on meth like out of it. High any looks down on this flooding hood and the phoenix catches on fire and his reaction. Just think of somebody that is high and seized their hallucination. Comes alive on a pontiac firebird. Thank about that for a minute. That was paul walker. It was great. It reminded me of like the modern day blazing saddles because it had really quick whips of racism but why racism is stupid all at the same time in it. They're i think they're supposed to be skinheads and shit like that and join the kkk. And paul walker's character. But why do we hate. Choose man. I just found out. Jerry springer is ju- jerry fucking springer and i'm talking to myself because these two assholes had nothing to say yeah can say i'm just telling you about goddamn movie. I guess it's really hard to explain this it would be for me to kinda show but I would say is definitely original intriguing and impactful Our no like a blend so many different jars into wine down to kind of create my own job that makes it can really put your thing go on like wear or like what my aspirations is because i had so many different sounds can do so many different things you know what i mean so but not even just on a music just as far as like you know i'll also model i do model in and i'm also really into like instilling knowledge yourself into the using Do people would come out and for the people that are still here. The fact they're loading on chunks of rock in a river of mac not or lava that's where it becomes a beyond my suspension of disbelief. Like we don't be a dual on followed ground like a princess bride. You're a we've talked about our other episode. you don't need. I mean on the other hand. I do appreciate that some environments the star wars films actually like are symbolic orally relevant in some way like theme or clot so maybe there is something to it. We didn't need also to the caribbean. That's another example. Has they're just so ridiculous in where and when they are fighting except for the very the first movie the very end with barbosa and johnny depp fighting each other. That actually is pretty awesome sequence but when yet when you get into dead man's chest whatever it's called worlds and it just becomes overblown and out solely just ridiculous ridiculous sake at the when you get to the right now i will say revenge. Estimate is the closest closest closest. The prequel trilogy got to matching from me. The quality of care of original trilogy for me when i watch just in my own. You know when. "Engaging me annoying in the way that kids sometimes are but he still have like a personality and everyone seems to can and think that he is great and his mother a perfect child like he knows nothing greed when he's actually working for a boss owns them and is gambling all the time. So i don't how that adds up. Maybe she's trying to shield him working the character choices. directing i think played into why he doesn't come off as like a realistic behavior of a child. And then you go to heat increases christianson now is he increases in life as a house and he is absolutely wonderful. That movie playing opposite of kevin kline the movie again. It's a terrible movie. The it has some good parts actually one of my favorite movies but this parts of the middle that make absolutely no sense in this it goes off on tangents. me but Hayden christian was wonderful in that movie playing an angsty kid who's forced to basically watch his father die but doesn't know it and he plays it absolutely beautiful so he can act and he has one of acting chops he just was kind of thrown into this and the one thing that everyone goes to is a for those who don't know or did you don't talk behind the scenes. Jackie in her Pad mayo at the first thing i said was I don't like sand. It's course roth and it gets everywhere But the scene that i point to as in christian being a horrible actor or in this role is When he explains to pat me that he killed san people and then he killed the children and the women and all that kind of stuff and he goes from being upset that he killed them then. Yelling and saying i hate them in through like a piece of metal elsewhere. And that's another instance. I think of showing on like we have seen like.

Wars also loved discuss it in dissected as a movie. Because that's what i do. I'm a movie critic i will discuss it and i will analyze to death That is just my what i think in terms of star wars. Now jackie. you're on this show not just because you requested but because you also are has big a star wars fan as i am so my first question is to you. What star wars mean to you. "Great question no. Because i got one. Scholarship offer to play football at howard which was absolutely amazing added. Great five years of how. I red shirt my first year. I was a four year starter at tackle and left tackle throughout my career at hauer on the first and only offers of lima drafted from howard. And i had to go through a lot to get there. I went to the hula bowl. Played against guys from all over the all across the country. texas wise miami alabama. Yo you name it. and back. In those days miami. Texas stanford. Ucla like the sec was not as big as today. It was more Acc impact impact ten at the time with big leagues in my time it also big twelve texas oklahoma and all that kind of good stuff and interestingly enough when i got to the nfl it wasn't about well. Compare me to job like okay. Well marcus now that you're here. We don't keep roster spots for brothers of great football players. Really don't do that like this is not in our car so we keep roster spots people to deserve you on the field. And that's what i had to learn. And i always looked at it like that and i always saw myself as that and because that right Because right neil. That's why i work. As hard as i did to have the job that i did in the national football because really you can't i. I mean i've heard it said i don't know i've never obviously played in the nfl. That'd be awesome. But i think i would get killed. Because i'm not a i'm a. I'm a tiny guy right. The world my friend. I imagine it is. But i imagine with that comes fame in some respects. Thinks it's one stopping him from getting there. But i don't think that is the case at all. I think it's agatha because she doesn't want them together right And i love he when he breaks kind of character as far as the sitcom like he's sitting there kind of being all fill duffy. And like well you know. I just don't really think. And then all of a sudden like what am i sitting here doing this. And he pulls off his mike and goes off vision and darcy's like okay.
