Breaking Down What Happened in Arizona
"Wanna tell you though from the point of view of somebody like me right listening to you talk. I just think. I'm i'm more confused than ever in other words. There's so much here we've never seen anything like this. Normally it's it's simple right. It's like there's this many votes and this many votes and they're waiting for the absentee ballots and that's coming on wednesday and then on wednesday you get this is. This is complicated. And whenever anything's complicated. I mean i literally remember when i was a kid watergate. Remember enough of it to think like this is complicated. Some people are tuning out. What's going on so on something like this. Let's say somebody says okay. I believe you. The question is what options do we have now. In other words. I watched a bunch of or your videos rape people like you and i said this is clearly not over. So what happens now okay. It's very it's actually complicated but yet simple okay. What came out of. Arizona is what could have been done in three to four weeks of forensic audit took months and months and they still don't have everything done because of the obstructionist that were there but those arizona. Then those guys are fighters right. But now the attorney general of arizona said there were crimes committed and the state. Legislatures are upset. They were lied to if slightly. Legislators were lied to and if correctly. I heard career if i heard this correctly this morning. I'm not sure who is speaking. But they said that the the republicans have a one vote majority in the state legislature. So that if they stand up here they have the ability to force something. I don't know if that figures into what you're saying. They can force more. They can subpoena get the rest of the stop they can. They can pull down their electors. They can do that anytime you do. Realize that everybody they could pull down their electors and they and they should. There's when you see thirty nine thousand votes that were nine hundred. Eighteen thousand or whatever nineteen thousand. Five hundred of these people voted twice. They didn't vote twice. They used their name twice. Eric this is what computers
Thousands of Lawful US Residents Left in Afghanistan
"Cards are available and there are thirteen to fourteen million of them in the united states. For any number of reasons you can be the family member of an american citizen. You can be a religious worker. You can be an afghan who worked for the united states anytime for at least a year on the international security assistance mission for a year. You have gotten your green card that way you can mean. International broadcasting can be a member of an international organization. We don't know who those thousands of green card members are but david drucker. It made it to your paper. The washington examiner yesterday. The big story of the lincoln hearing was the green card number thousands of waffle. Us resonance left in afghanistan. Were you surprised by that. No not necessarily. I mean i think the larger issue here or you know the issue here he is. Does the administration know exactly. How many are there. They are is it. Thousands and thousands is it the low thousands The issue is one. We left them there but second do know who they are. David i have to disagree with you after three weeks. Four weeks of hearing about one hundred americans then bahir blankets at well. We have thousands of green card holders. Hey they're americans. They have legal permanent residents here. Like duane said next door neighbors a bread. Who married in american adam. The engineer chief engineer here his mom's canadian. Pr lp are everywhere. I mean they just left him right. And i think that's i think that's the larger issue but i also think it's important that the administration either knows who they left. Were doesn't know who they're left in. Are they being candid. Especially in these hearings earrings with what they know in decisions. They made in one of the things. I would like to see out of the senate today that i didn't really see out of the house yesterday as some really incisive pointed questionings with let's grandstand in so the administration either starts to talk about decisions. Made and what. The situation on the ground is more just simply reveals that it was as haphazard inside as it looked on the outside and they don't really know what's going on but i think it's important for the american public to understand that i definitely important for congress understand that to put the proper amount of pressure on the administration and at least be able to talk about this in a real way.

"The president returns the white house this week to address what may be the greatest threat to our country since nine eleven for eighteen months the covert pandemic has consumed our country and now even though seventy five percent of american adults are vaccinated. it's become a pandemic of the unvaccinated with more than one hundred thousand cases a day for four weeks last week. Roughly quarter million new cases reported among children. The highest total yet but biden's plan to mandate vaccinations at workplaces across. America is facing swift and severe resistance drawing attacks and threats of legal action from at least nineteen republican governors. We're going to begin there this morning with surgeon. General vivek murthy dr murthy. Thank you for joining us this morning. You know the president resisted issuing mandates for months thank you the president resisted issuing mandates for months and the administration repeatedly explained that he lacked the legal authority for sweeping mandates. So what changed george. Let's talk about where we are. And what the president announced Fortunately we have made a tremendous amount of progress over the last eight months. I want to remind people of this because they can get lost in the in the news about the delta varying delone but because we have two hundred million people george with at least one shot of the vaccine. We are in a much better place than we otherwise would have been with that. Said delta is a tough foe. It's throw curveballs at us. And we have to be prepared to respond and that is why. The president announced a ambitious and thoughtful plan. that he nfl earlier this lab past week which is intended to help us get through the next phase of this variant now to be clear requirements that he announced or not sweeping requirements for the entire nation. These are focused on areas where the federal government has legal authority to act so seventeen million healthcare workers. Who do we were operating. Institutions which work with medicare medicaid will now be required To get vaccines we also know that the workplace requirements. He put in place for workplaces. That have one hundred plus You know workers that those will affect about eighty million americans. Here's finally what we know. George we know that these kind of requirements actually work to improve our vaccination

Hank and terry dawson suffered marital problems in the summer of nineteen ninety-three and hank temporarily moved out of the house to live in anchorage. Los Angeles Lakers Could Fill out Roster With DeAndre Jordan
"Just give us a little on. What you think's going to happen with andre jordan was traded to the pistons. Everybody's yeah he's going to be out and that means he's going to be the next guy that the lakers will go get what do you say i think he is I think they're the most likely team to get him But there's just. I never say never with bio guys even because this is kind of been the rumor for three or four weeks at this point That this happened in brooklyn and it was just a matter of were they going to do the bio for him was he going to have to be traded. I if it say brooklyn a whole lot of money the fact that they they just save millions of dollars on their luxury tax bill by doing it this way. Also nicer de'andre like deandra got that because he was part of the kevin durant kyrie irving initial big three in in brooklyn and he was just. He's friends with all those guys. They played on team usa together and he was essential for them in signing with the nets. A little while back and it was a him signing that he gets paid twenty million a year that is not his market value. They overpaid for him. In the beginning as part of a like a sign let sign kevin durant and kyrie irving and it was you know finally worked out that way but at some point you make so much money and your they have a lot of guys at that position but they you know straight into detroit. They they They're going to do a buy out. He's going to give back a little bit of money. Detroit gets four second round out of it so they get something And also some other some other complicated salary cap things but we all thought lamarcus aldridge was going to miami. Last year on the market he ended up going to brooklyn so until he clears. Waivers and intel other teams have a chance to approach the andre. I wouldn't i wouldn't say it's likely or expected or anything like that. I would use much more. Vague words. you know. He fits with the lakers. He would fit in that role. I think would have a pretty well defined role and if you're on the buyout market and you're gonna sign for minimum like that's what you're looking for is someplace you can play.

Sp eight into law in may and of course the trick behind the law is that unlike similar deliberately unconstitutional abortion bans. heartbeat ends. What have you. Sba doesn't allow any state actors to enforce it there in fact prohibited from enforcing it instead literally everyone else. That could include your counselor. Who talks to you about your options or the uber driver who drops you off at the clinic. Look the law is unconstitutional. Texas is well aware that the supreme court precedent sets the bar for abortion bans at viability. "I can tell you right now. Including someone that I think a lot of people have been looking for for a long time to go ahead and finally break through the potential of Matthew Stafford who we've talked about Ad Nauseam over the past what four or five years now almost about being that next great quarterback and he just gives you that potential like like once or twice every year to say you know what I got to go ahead and make sure he's on my fantasy team more. I gotta go ahead and start him but he had another great weekend this past weekend so I ask you. My friend is Matthew Stafford who is available on a lot of waiver wires out. There is someone you need to pick up and izzy someone that feasibly really could start for a team that didn't do so well this past weekend well up until recently he was the number one paid quarterback in the NFL so they're paying him for reason. He's always it was the number one pick for a reason Matt Stafford a good quarterback. Matt Stafford has never been given the tools that he needs to be ultra successful. He's never for head a super great offensive line as far as pass protection goes they've gone into the season a few times expecting to have a top offensive line especially like three or four years ago bill when they were like clear-cut favorites to win the NFC Norris Division and didn't win it but I mean again like we said the Brownsville the browns land lines until proven otherwise it as a cubs fan I sympathize with the browns and lions I really do but I actually would take Matt Stafford especially because I think Golladay just so good and somebody's gotTa Feed Galaxy and it just so happens that Matt Stafford is the hand that feeds Golladay holiday you know and they do have a pretty decent running back on that team as well not a lot of depth there. They don't have golden tate anymore. They don't have Calvin Johnson. Johnson probably the best receiver of pure natural talent ever but yet the Golladay those I I mean I I really really like and the fact that they're going to be behind most of the time it helps out Matt Stafford so now I mean there's a lot of people who are rushing to pick guys like Josh Allen. Go ahead. You'RE GONNA cut him in in two weeks so we'll I want to ask you one last question on the waiver wire issues and and Dalton it by the way to ask you if you had a choice right now because I tell you what for for my leak. There's a lot of available quarterbacks out there that did really well over the past weekend but some of it could be fool's gold so I WANNA ask you. Are you buying on any of these names case keenum Marcus Mariota Andy Dalton or Josh Allen like you said he's had so many shot so many different places and he's always been mediocre so I'll pass Josh Allen. Maybe because I mean he's still younger right. He's not he's only is this third year. Am I missing. Something here leaves third yeah so I mean that's certainly possible that he takes the next step. He's got a good running back now. We talked about him earlier with single angled Terry Possible Josh Shallan. I cannot believe what I saw Andy Dalton. I also cannot believe that's going to be normal so I certainly would not you. You see me taking Andy Dalton. We know any Dalton. He is who we thought he was to use that line again cycle year for by the way for Josh Allen for Josh Allen Yeah so I mean that's the suggestion certainly a guy that you can look at especially if you're a dynasty or keeper league that he's probably available but I would certainly look at Josh Allen on as somebody who could make that big leap and second year of all the guys that are out there looking at some the list now darnold is useless Fitzpatrick's useless keenum. I think is is useless. The one guy who is questionable who's on a lot of waiver wires is Marcus Mariota so I mentioned before Marcus Mariota throws to my daughter's cousin so I want him to do well but I just don't I mean I wasn't that sold on Marcus Mariota College College. Just I mean it just didn't it just didn't it wasn't sexy to me for some reason sorta like Melvin Gordon. I don't really have a lot to base that on but but I just never liked him but then we've seen what had happened in his career and he's been a bad quarterback. I don't know what the hell happened in that game. I mean that game when I think that they were I had my confidence boy had Cleveland at number eleven now maybe I bought into the hype too much but Tennessee's not a good football team so could narrow to get you some garbage points sure but Subaru. You have to ask yourself. Who's going to be the better chance to if you definitely need need a quarterback. which at this point? I don't know why you need a quarterback this early because nobody got hurt this week. I I'm guessing. You're picking him up. As a speculative pick maybe of Dak or Lamar and you're not super sold yet so you're like yeah you know. Maybe one of these guys might be better in a few weeks and you may very well be right. I just don't think it's Andy. He Dalton and I don't think it's Marcus Mariota Alan on the other hand. What's the worst that could happen. Cut Him. You know so I would. I would lean towards Alan. I'm going to disagree with you slightly on that. Josh Allen has potential but I'M GONNA go with Andy Dalton reason why he's going to he's going to throw more. He's going to get more temps. Uber's he does have better receivers and he's GonNa get a lot of volume. If you're into volume. You're going to get a lot from him. Coming through for over four hundred yards folks this past weekend. Threw three touchdowns did fumble twice so that's kind of concerning to me and you're. GonNa see some interceptions from him you have do you have negative. Points is a big thing with Andy Dalton yeah so I mean but he he's scored twenty over the weekend so I think right now for me of that list probably go with Andy Dalton would be probably my best pick out of that bunch but if you're able to go ahead and get Stafford and he still reach reach for the waiver wire. That would probably be my first choice of them. I I would agree. I think Stafford over Dalton for sure Stanford over Allen for sure Stafford over Marietta data I think as well Oh yeah and Moses Moreno over Mariota until proven otherwise fair enough fair enough. My friend has been a great episode. Thanks so much again to control sixty for again asking some great questions out there. I cannot thank him enough. "Mayfield same thing haven't had a bad week also so ben Rothlisberger bad we also I own all these guys right so in a variety of different leagues but Lamar Lamar Jackson looks really good. Kids fast got a good arm. I still have some questions about about his receiving core but but so far it looks like the truth Baker Mayfield and the browns. Are you selling on them early on the hype all that much. I know there was a lot of hype going in but I'd just something just kind of kept me back from going ahead and buying in on on one hundred percent. I'm an after week one. I'm Kinda glad I did well. You know delanie. Walker said something very funny. He said they are who we thought they were. He was obviously quoting the late. Danny Green after that debacle of Oh comeback against the that the bears had against them was the two thousand Rosen and six. I WanNa say so got time. Flies doesn't it so the thing with the browns is like is this until proven otherwise still the browns uh-huh but it's hard not to buy in with that roster you so it's I I would say you're certainly Lina Dump Baker Mayfield right now. If you are then you're out of your mind you know but he also aren't. GonNa Trade Him Right now. Because someone will offer you Dak Prescott like I guarantee you. There are people offering DAK Prescott for Baker Mayfield right now. Why are they doing well because they're thinking you're Mad Abakar. Look at what acted but I want the actual guy who's going to be a better quarterback for the year low. Sell exactly we'll be right back with more fantasy football a listener Dutch here from voice from the underground the podcast mycosis and I want to invite you to check out our little corner of the podcast verse at voice from the underground. We talk about all the crazy crazy happening around us. Try to make a little bit of sense are the nonsense with little to no results. If the idea of hearing three semi intelligent outspoken nerds talk about politics social issues current events sports movies pretty much anything that we decide to talk about because well. It's our show appeals to you. Grab your shoveling. Come on down in the underground around and then consult a qualified psychotherapists finest. Wherever you get your podcast not where you buy your wheat from the underground I want to ask you real quick in regards regards to Antonio Brown before we get to the waiver wire pickups and whatnot as far as our suggestions on that Antonio Brown there. Were more allegations filed in. I believe leap before to court in regards to some rape allegations that were made he is now a member of the New England Patriots and WanNa ask you I mean he's not virtually every team out. Thirty people picked him up. Even despite all the drama they drafted him high and in a lot of people are now questioning the fact that is this going to be a good time to still start him to still play him because as of this recording he's still expected to get some playing time as early as two for the New England patriots so if you're a tim owner and you have Antonio Brown on your team. Are you a little bit trepidation as far as actually putting him into the starting lineup well. Let's I'm GonNa read for you the press statement from the Patriots which was at eight fifty six. PM Pacific Time today just like an hour ago we are aware of the civil lawsuit that was filed earlier today against Antonio Brown as well as the response by Antonio's representatives. We take these allegations very seriously under no circumstances this organization organization condone sexual violence or assault the League as informed as they will be investigating. We'll no further comment while that investigation takes place that tells me he's playing as if there was a doubt right well Kareem Hunt. You got cut right afterwards so you know it's you never know what's going to happen happened. The Patriots are team that has historically taken on trouble guys and in almost every case except for Chad Johnson Ocho Cinco. It's worked. I caution people. You know it's like first of all. This is not a joke. This is if the sexual misconduct is is serious stuff. You know we talk about sexual misconduct all time. I'm not going to go into that but like. Is that a reason to not. Start someone on your fantasy team. Well I know is it worth it to you to to possibly lose your matchup because of something that has nothing to do with you because of a button on your phone if your ethics and morals were that high great mine aren't and and and I say that food fully aware that I'm not trying to take away from from what happened you know we have a guy in the the White House who is got seventeen such accusations so you know but doesn't stop him from being president so you know it's the Supreme Court two but this happens a lot with athletes. We have very rice Addison Russell Ben Rothlisberger who magically no one talks about but yeah like there's the tendency for people just assume he's guilty. We don't have to go into wide. You'll be playing painfully obvious but at the same time he's he's kind of a jerk so you know Antonio Brown's a jerk so it's like if you have a chance to cut bait on Antonio Brown right now. Someone's willing to give you something for him. Really smart move to do so. I am so happy that I don't have any Antonio Brown any my leaks. I don't have to worry about this but if you do have them you you're you're you're. You're silly to not start. The says not stardom. I just you really got to start looking for other options. Because if there is any credibility of this claim whatsoever it probably won't come out for a while you know civil lawsuits probably a month and a half court date down the road and his lawyers probably get it but if there's something credible here he will get suspended probably for six games at the minimum so really should start looking for something if you can make a trade for someone like a Willfuller or something like that for him. At this point might not be the catch he made my God somebody around that area like maybe wr to or if you need a running back somebody's hurting. They might take a chance if they're deep at running back within it receiver. I would certainly started thinking about looking to get away from it but again like I don't. I have never been been a guy who has said I'm going to take personal ethics. I WANNA be friends with Antonio Brown not really do. I have a problem with typing his name into a computer screen and hoping he wins me a couple of bucks yeah. I'm fine my dad so you know it's there are people though who will cut him because because of this we get cut by like sixteen thousand Yahoo Teams today guess what is going to be picked up by fifteen thousand nine hundred ninety nine so you know it's it. If if you want to do that that's fine with you. It's says nothing to do with real life. It's fantasy I think I I think that you know early on as something. He's GonNa be a play for a lot of people people I think of. Maybe you know because the the you know the stuff the allegations that's that's now hanging over his head and you know that could be more of a sense of desperation to try and get numbers out of him any type so we could see a lot of Antonio Brown early at least two weeks to three or four Argonne play him but yet he safer few weeks trading. It would probably be my at my best option. It is again. These charges could be false. You know let's look at Derrick rose perfect example. Let's look at the Duke Lacrosse team. These things happen but you know. It's important that we take the claim seriously but don't don't involve it with fantasy though right. It's got nothing to do with fancy football. That's a real life issue fancy fancy but before we head to the waiver wire our pickups and players that you need to go for on your wire as soon as you hear this because a lot of your your fellow team owners are Gonna go ahead after those players as well. I want to answer one last question right here from although if you have more lay him on as my friend because we just truly appreciate it but his latest question that you wanted to ask us he was a little bit concerned learned over the four targets. Brandin cooks got it time to panic. No it's the rams. I mean this the all out as far as Los Angeles. You're never GONNA get. I think like a ton of targets nine ten eleven twelve each and every week you're only scored but depending on your scoring system the ball even when he you're exactly right but he's not going to score eight to ten fantasy points on the regular so that's one of the reasons. I mean if you're you're running. Your wide. Receivers can only do what your quarterback do. You know so if you've got three receivers zero because Robert Woodson landed on fire either you know neither did Cooper Cup. I mean better days than Brandin cooks but still that's GonNa flip around so you've you can't really worry about that right now against only week one so you're still starting cooks every week until if he doesn't six this weeks in a row maybe you should start not looking at brandin cooks. I would say earlier I give it to three weeks if two threes only getting three or four targets and like you're in contrast sexy yes it seemed like he was focusing on Cooper Cup and Robert Woods of you've got them on your team out there and you know that's something you obviously want to take take into focus but I think as far as way he spreads it out. He's still you know todd. Gurley gets to get some love as well so you gotTA. I remember a lot lots going his way as far as the offense and if I had brandin cooks on my team I would be kind of worried or ready that if any game he's going to have over the course of the season I think it's going to be. I think it's going to be touching go. I think it's going to be feast or famine. When it comes to brandon coach. He's going to have those games where it's going to be seven receptions a hundred and fifty yards and two touchdowns and he's going to have a Lotta Games like he did week one. I think it's going to be all over the place so I mean for me. He seems like a good flex but you must have too strong receivers ahead of them as well because he could be someone that could win you games each and every week on those weeks that he's hot hot but as consistent wide receiver. That's GonNa be tough because it looks like already that again when when the chips are down and Dan if Gotha it is in any type of duress he's GonNa start focusing more on cup in woods and I think you nailed it control sixty when you said that he's GonNa Focus on Cooper and Robert Woods majority of the time anybody who has brandin cooks out there including you control. Steve you've got up. I would kind of be concerned earn but he's going to be that type of individual. That's going to have those big games than disappear for two or three weeks. I don't completely disagree but mostly I do. I would still take cooks over the other two guys really yeah until proven because Robert Woods is not going to get. Pr League Robert Woods is probably a pick or two ahead if if you were to redraft every week then of cooks but I'm not worried about brandin cooks at all yet. It's that ball's. GonNa be spread around a lot..

"The podcast you gotTA check it out today on pod being and so many other different podcast outlets. It is my good friend. We're going to go ahead and recap a lot of great things here in week. One plus also talk some waiver wire later in the show but it's so great to have him on again. It's Jason Dutch what's going on my friend Fred. How are you happy Tuesday. I happy Tuesday to you as well. My friend happy first waiver wire. We coming out she right here and we're going to cover over that later in the episode. We're going to talk more Antonio Brown. I it's not a laughing matter because something else came up with him but you know since since we last spoke the saga we thought ended because he got himself talked out of one area and put himself into another area but we'll we'll recap a little bit of that and and and see where it's going now and ask ourselves if it's actually okay to go ahead and start him at this point in time coming up but first my friend it's NFL week one. It's all done. It's in the books a lot of great things that we saw an a shameful stuff that we saw when it comes to the weekend that was in the NFL so I want to hear your thoughts on week one standouts. Where do you think it starts because for me. It starts in Houston but for I know for you probably start somewhere else us. Well Houston's a good place to to look for sure. I mean Bernard Hopkins Big Game. You expect that right. I mean he was probably your number. Pick so or at worst your number two pick if you had like a a an early snake pick like maybe eleven or twelve or something like that yeah. I can't say this for me. He was in my snake drafts draft at six. I think six if I remember correctly that he was just left on the board at that point in time the running backs were not tantalizing at that point. I'm side took him and so far. I'm getting snapped good returns. Yes I mean it was a good pick because once the guy said last week wants the the first three running backs were gone. I don't believe Nick Chub or any of those. Other guys was worth the number four pick so you kinda gotta go wide receiver at at that point and then you're left with. Maybe Michael Thomas her or him depending on where you go and you were happy with both of those this week regular Hamas Michael. Thomas had a big week because well in fact. I actually have team believe it or not where Michael Thomas and Hopkins on the same team Keeper League so a lot of keeping the a lot of young players went which allowed me to have those two guys but yeah it's of course I lost still highest scoring losing team the League as usual but I lost I'll tell you I lost my first match up in that and the keeper League is because I'm an idiot and I had to work on Thursday and I didn't realize Trey Burton didn't and start so I had left Laney Walker on my bench and I lost by two. Donny Walker would give me a eighteen point win so that was one reason why I lost but also the other reason why my loss which is a standout in a bad way. Was I have my two quarterbacks who I think for the year will be fine but jared goff in bed. Rothlisberger Burger did a total of Jack Zero. You know they were terrible. Jared Goff was completely exposed by bad supposed to be a bad Tennessee team and Ben Rothlisberger was equally expose although a lot of it is the fact that his receivers apparently don't know how to catch the ball. I can't tell you the last time I saw game connect with someone other than the bears playing in it well that wraps surprises seeing the overall. I guess lack of performance from anyone anyone on the Pittsburgh roster yeah I mean Howard. You can almost forgive because they were down right away. You Know Tom Brady just keeps on ticking and he supposedly supposedly getting Antonio Brown. We'll go we'll talk about that saga a minute but I think that the biggest move of this week was clear to me with awesome in in San Diego or San Diego in La.. I keep wanting to call them the clippers you know what everybody's still calls calls of. San Diego down here as well the chargers sure but but then when I see like Austin Ron R. B. L. A. C. and like I just I think La Clippers you know hey both l. a. c.'s will probably have a very good year because they're both loaded on both the NBA and NFL fronts. I've seen the I'm not the biggest. NBA Fan but I have have committed to watching a little bit more this year and the clippers do look they look. They look pretty good. I I thought they're going to get a couple years ago. When they had what's his face the redheaded all brinker red-headed light skinned guy with whatever his name is Blakely Griffin Lop. Lop City was hit. Get full force. Yeah I remember I remember distinctly circling back to the NFL off. An editor has to be story one A or one B that. I don't want want to rank them. Does this mean a Melvin Gordon. You know troubles yeah we saw this. We saw this movie last year. Remember with lady on Bell. We saw this movie last year and it it it. It didn't work out particularly well for beyond bill. It worked out very well for jams connor and actually last year. I picked up James Connor as a waiver pickup right before the season started because I figured I might get one week out of them. So you know if you picked up at clearer. Leyrer you drafted Heckler late then you're in pretty good shape because it looks to me like he's cemented his place on that team. I mean he looked really really good and he looked better than Melvin. Gordon has really looked at pretty much any time other than maybe five. I'm not sold them. I'm not a Melvin Gordon Guy. I'm not I I never have been Melvin Gordon Guy Like I would take Melvin Gordon but I won't get excited about Melvin Gordon because I think he's just way too prone injury and he just never I mean he was really good in college yes but I I wasn't really sure that he was gonna he kind of had an reminded me of even though he's he's not anything like this guy's a runner but just performance wise he always kind of struck me as like a Ron Dane type of type of guy where you know you know. He's GonNa A. B. Okay but your there's no way you could be expecting Ron Dane to do what he did in college but if you remember Ron Dane College rounding and college was insanity on a stick back but even an -ticipant at him having so much usage at Wisconsin that we thought he might be already worn out by the time he got to the NFL well at the same team from Saint Place too so you know it's but but that's the way I kind of looked melborn. Melgar's better running back than Ryan Dane was but but I was in house powerful running back his little is smaller and does away as much priolo quicker but I still have never been really sold on on on Melvin Gordon when I met Melvin Gordon get. Did I actually have met Melvin Gordon. I was shocked at how tiny he is. You know he's he's is not very big guy. I'm not that big only barely six foot tall and I just looked at this guy knows like this guy is the NFL running back and I was there at chargers training camp two two three years ago because my daughters my daughters I think I mentioned last week our our cousins with Corey Davis of the Tennessee titans since right there mom my daughter's mom is twitter. Davis first cousin and back in two thousand sixteen. Corey davises older brother was in training camp with the chargers actually br and his brother actually broke all of Antonio Brown's records when he was at central Michigan and had a cup of coffee with the bears as well but when he was on the chargers he let us on you know got us in a training camp to meet some players met Philip rivers. WHO's you know it was probably going to go home in and have his seventeenth kid that night but Melvin Gordon and just was like when I saw him and this was going to be his rookie year. I was like Matt this guy so that's not probably the greatest reason in the world did not Melvin Gordon Van van but it still resonated with me that I have become not Melvin Gordon Fan. I've never picked him and I really don't want him so on the other hand is one of those guys who like you said we it reminds us of James Connor. Kinda reminds us of a couple years ago what happened with with demonte. Freeman where devante Freeman was supposed to not be the starter in fact he was almost on the outs in Atlanta and time and coma was supposed to start and then all of a sudden Tevin Coleman had a I think a bad hamstring hamstring that I see the first game and Devante Freeman scores Three touchdowns in it's all on from there so this is just this happens every single year so if you have a chance to make pickle waiver pickup of which probably fifty fifty it well if he wasn't drafted then he would still be on waivers unless last one picked him up beforehand but the odds are low but if you did pick him up yeah you're you're. You're looking really good shape right now and I think you're GONNA get at least three weeks with him because I don't think when Gordon when he comes back is GonNa even. Let's even if he came back next week. I highly doubt he gets a lion share. Yeah absolutely it's probably going to be not for a while before Melvin Gordon players that are out there that have him on their team are going to be able to see any type of residual effects at least three to four weeks before you're. GonNa see any time that may be. He's not even back yet so right now. It's awesome nuclear. You'RE GONNA get a heavy dose of him that if you're an Austin Equa fan or a Los Angeles chargers fan. You'RE GONNA see a lot of him going forward in the future but there are more great performances that we gotta talk about Sammy Watkins almost two hundred yards in receiving two touchdowns touchdowns just an incredible day tyreek hill is injured. Yeah I want to ask you is Sammy Watkins still someone you want to go ahead and make sure he's he's a wide receiver one for you and big time play at least for the short term going forward Sammy Watkins. Is your number one receiver. You got a bad fantasy. Football Team are are you could be running back heavy. You could be Sammy. Watkins is another guy that I've never. I've never really cared too much for Sammy Watkins. I know when he was in Buffalo. So you know he had some you know he had some good games there but like again to my i. I'm not excited by Sammy Watkins I would I view Sammy Watkins in my view. People weren't free to disagree as he's. Wr Three you know I'm going to say right right now. I'm going to have to move him higher. Because the fact that there is the tyreek hill injury I think he becomes a higher priority for Patrick. Mahomes it certainly in the short term but the they updated. Terry kills injury today and they said he'll probably miss a few a few weeks now. We don't know what that means that means he could be back in week four or he could be back back in week nine. Don't touch that dial we do people still use dials check out what's been going on with the pop culture cosmo show and the PCC multi-diverse. I see the potential for basically a another nets lakes find a paradigm shift where here comes this other major player. They have a ton of resources. There were definitely some parts of movie that I that I I really enjoyed and then there were some parts that I thought just kind of fell short of expectation part of it has to be something to do with how it's being promoted and this is a thing where our audiences do not agree with critics that's the pop culture cosmo show and the PCC multi-diverse every week on.

"That's already been born twenty twenty four weeks. On that day. No, no, no right on a day. Birth twenty four twenty four weeks. Right. Killed up to twenty four weeks. I'm not sure twenty four weeks number. Yeah. So, you know, but then again, you know you can see that is I see hideous then again you can see that going the other extreme is not right either. I mean you can't be that cruel to make decisions for others like that. I don't think God approves of that either. I just don't. Is going to approve of a baby being killed. No, you won't prove that. But you know what else he doesn't approve of he doesn't approve of people who worry more about what's in the womb and don't give a damn about it after it gets out of the womb. And that's what bothers me. Well, you know, we all have our decisions there is. No, there is no. Oh, well about that care enough about the baby. Well, if you if you care about the baby in the womb, or whether or not conceiving is, is something that God wants we should care about the baby out of the womb to raise children teach them, you know, right from wrong and not let, the schools do it, and not throw our kids to the schools that are becoming prison pipelines, and it just bothers me that, you know, we don't hear enough about that. I mean, I'm concerned for both both abortion and for how we treat children. And I just think that there's a lot of lip service that goes on for a lot of people who have that one agenda. They wanna push so evil so hideous. But there are a lot of evil and hideous things we do to children after they're born as well. It's all about our free will. You know and where how we relate to the world around us. Shouldering in our neighborhood, in our community, and how we address. There exist. I'm just looking for consistency. Consistency is what I'm looking for. And I just sometimes. You know and, and consistency is oftentimes with, you know, craziness in our world isn't part of our existence anymore could should be. And I think we should call out that aren't Kansas. We should call on a consistent because I think that one of the biggest problems we have in this world right now is, is inconsistencies, and people having gender that they want to push. And they don't think about all the people hurt with the Jenas they push and all the things. I mean, that's what David was saying it last night, I had to agree with them about I'm better than you are. I'm doing the right thing. That's go to David New York. Hi, dave. You're on ground zero. Hey, how you doing doing? Good. About the vocational earlier. Yes. What we do to the environment is something, you know, we, we contribute to environmental disasters. We contribute to environmental fluctuations and crazy things that happen to the planet that cannot be repaired, where we have to wait for them to be repaired. "Stretched to four weeks because we were just running out of time, and it was really insane to because here we're trying to shoot a video for winter wonderland in the midst of the worst drought in history in California with not even a flake of snow anywhere on the horizon. This not even at the highest elevations in the Sierra. And we're thinking how are we gonna do winter wonderland video, you know, October and it just as luck would have it. There was a small storm that was blowing down through Oregon. They usually blow in from the south. You know, the we call it the pineapple. Express and it comes off the ocean. But this one was cold and had a little moisture in it. And I was falling like crazy 'cause we were dreading having to fake this stuff. You know with. I none of us like the fake anything. Especially snow would be terrible. So long story short. Yes. The snow came. It was going to snow late in the evening and through the morning. And so we left our place we live on the coast in the north bay area of California. We left our house about three in the morning to get to eighty five hundred feet elevation. And Carson path in the Nevada is just after sunrise, and we're blessed with about six inches of fresh snow, of course, as the sun came up. It was literally melting under our feet, and we start until we couldn't shoot anymore and prayed we had enough on footage to fill in the blanks, and and it all worked out pretty well, actually. But that was the only snow we got that. I think until later in December that relax. I'm talking about fill up. It was the wildest stroke of luck, all workout. And then of course, you know, we'd.

"We'll get three three Deeks three days before you get three to four weeks at X teams. When you deport you don't get you. Don't get to nor do I want you to walk away with this. Everything's great. We worked out everything. I'm just glad to be in. Another plate. No, no, it's okay to get three or four exhibit to the organization or to those that you didn't get along with. But after three or four he kind of you, go bursts. He he's burn. He is up now. So when the season come he's not going to be able to because he'll live it anyway, start real crazy three or four. You get a chance to burn up the general manager once you get chance to burn up the quarterback the organization then you leave one for the season when they start losing. Then you got that Zinger form when they start losing who have I'll say I'd be able to help them. Then did you go away? But when you just continuously every week saying something about a team that you're no longer with is starting to make you look real petty. If people are starting to question, you thought processing mentality. That's was getting ready to start happening. People are going to start to wonder what the hell is really wrong with AB. You got everything you want. It. You got outta town. You got the money. Now, leave him. Oh is he's never gonna leave him alone. He doesn't have it in. This is really sad. You gotta leave. I told you three two four eight three to four. He squandered the capital that he had received when the status show who they really were as a franchise the way they talked about ban. But it's what the other players people were behind a beat because we're like, oh, hey, Bs, right? Because look at what they're saying about this. And now he's taking that capital. And he squandered it just like that. It's like, oh, well, he's still Nydia both things can be right. The students can have something wrong with it. But you also can be an idiot. And I don't mean that what happens those people go say see, this is why they got rid of this the X. Say now, it looks as if the Steelers may have made the right move. Exactly. Yeah. And that's unfortunate because he'll you weren't good favor. What you were saying key about Lookie. Get a few on the way out to get. If you get the burn, Dan when I leave the problem is is that he's not going to stop it a few. He's going to do it. What is it? Now. It's April eighth then he'll do it on may eighth. He'll do it on June eight, oh, he ain't do this. He's going to do it over and over and over again and to point at that point. It's just no wonder they ran this guy out of here. So you get the you get the initial press conference. You get the Burnham up. You get the burn them up at training camp. I mean pre pre camp like a mini campus. Someone put the mic in your face. You get the Barnum up, and then you get the burn them up in the summer, we go train a kit. And then you get one during the season. That's it. He shouldn't talk about the Pittsburgh Steelers. No, more she done deduct and heads question next heading the Hogwarts Steelers. That'd be one thing. But he took JJ. That's not cool guys pretty universally. Well liked. That's not cool. Yeah. It's pretty. Yeah. It is he's university. Well, like, would you also is not innocent because he did publicly backed being when? ABC? We see it. Yeah. But he's still very has tobacco. But you don't have to say anything at all. Just stay out of it by not saying anything at all is interesting acid..

"Eight seven seven three three seven sixty six sixty six is the phone number two final four, of course this weekend. And joining us right now from beautiful Minneapolis is good, buddy. John root Stein. The face of college basketball, John, how are you? Great. Great to be with you guys as always good morning. How is the atmosphere Minneapolis right now as we get set for the final four, you know, exciting of and there's a lot of people here that are excited because I think there's a lot of teams here that are not used regularly going to the final four weeks of Michigan state where current for like Auburn and Regina 'cause a lot of excitement a lot of newness here in Minneapolis. And I don't think you have eventually the brand names that a lot of people usually with the final four. But at the same time, there's a lot of excitement here, you know, because there's a new beginning getting ready to start. You don't. I'm sure CVS doesn't love the fact that Texas Tech and Auburn or at the final four, but I think it makes it. I like it actually it makes it a little more attractive certainly for a guy like me to see some new teams in there. John how about that? Well, I don't think there's any doubt about Joan we've talked about storylines for years that alcohol famers can be the add to their legacies and don't want and so forth. But with all that said you have guys right now like like beer Coney Bennett who are playing right now for a chance to get to the national championship game for the first time. So there's a lot of for those guys as well. And I really think when you look at the chemical makeup of what happened that would Jinya less twelve months if they can go from losing the UNBC by twenty points, the first one blues to sixteen potentially winning the national championship. It is one of the great twelve months turnaround in the history of sports talking about from a door at ecstasy perspective, simply because it never happened before the sixteen losing zero one I know that obviously. We've seen other words the first thing happen it's worth over one year span. But when you look at the embarrassment, and the fact that those kids that live with us for a year, and it's not like you see wanna game at the buzzer thanked in the shop crushing. And if not like also remember this that like you and be the best in the America east place that Vermont. So when you really with the atom, I think we're talking about one year turnaround from you know, who are guitar to act. The this could be one of the great ones that Jimmy can game. I think when you look at the storylines going into this weekend that to me is number one because of the story of last year to even trilling Gardner Webb the way they were in the one sixteen matchup to getting here now, but they've had a great regular season. They win thirty plus games for those who've not had a chance to see a lot of Virginia this season. What makes Virginia that good? They don't beat themselves. They're extremely efficient on offense. And they never get that up. Jinya always one the lowest in the country and the temple that. Play up play at. But they also got somebody who I think is really going to come to the actual this weekend. Indiana, Ray hunter that bona fide top in pick in the NBA draft. He's got great size and great length at sick date. You know, he can guard multiple positions for insurance. One of the great defensive player in all the college basketball John over intriguing team to me because of who they beaten. I mean, you know, you talk about the blue bloods, they'd beaten pretty much all of them Kansas North Carolina Kentucky to get to the final four. They're very intriguing story. Their best players out. He's hurt after injuring himself in that great win against North Carolina. So over and has a chance now to slay not a blue blood, but certainly the last number one seed in the twenty minute I'll Auburn right now. Got knitting contrast style Joe because you look at things from an Auburn Virginia perspective one team wants to push the ball on each and every possession. The other team also play at a tortoise pace. And look Auburn was fortunate enough to be Kentucky by only making seven threes that won't work against Jimmy because we're genius hack line defense forces you to go over the top of the defense. You know, one of the things that Duke did exceptionally well when do one in Charlottesville Virginia would make threes early. And that allowed them to get an early lead. Obviously Ed that leaving the window over it's going to have to two things they're going to have to shoot the basketball stuff. And well and on top of that guys. You can't get down early against junior. Twenty one to eight eight minutes into the game was gonna very hard time coming back and get the Monday night. Wave got near. It's been incredible. They barely got Bob by the five twelve matchup against New Mexico state. And then they be Kansas, North Carolina and Kentucky three. The biggest names in college basketball. This is really and they lose Okeke in the process. They wouldn't have them in the Kentucky game. How about the road that they've taken to get here? You know, it's one of the great runs that we've seen Evan when he talked about beating Bill self Williams and John Calipari back back back and think about this for a second. If Mexico state is simply make the couple of free throws all out of the tournament in around that that small the Morten forever is. And you know, I think when you look do they picture right now, we've talked obviously a lot about the great hire the last five years Pearl. Auburn have got to be at the top of the lift. It's simply a what he's been able to resurrect this programming in all when people thought about their up five years ago, you thought about Cam Newton now talking about Luke Pearl a Bo Jackson, but that's me. John guy. I'm sorry about that. Because I think Julia usually at schools that make a run in their conference Twitter. I remember seeing hall a few years ago, and what good did it do them? Allburn had that great run in winning their conference. They won four straight games in four days. You think that helped him you think that was a big factor in the run they've gone on here at all, you know, thing you bring that up Evan because some some coaches will believe that you know, losing early in your conference tournament keeps you fresher for the NC double A tournament. Others go with the notion that when you look at things, you know, it's better to have a momentum going to conference ornament. I was worried about Auburn playing Mexico state and around fifty four to playing four games and four days in the FTC tournament. But the no avail they've been absolutely dynamite pick eight and if I'm not mistaken three to four teams in here. One their conference torn right, John. Well, no, I mean Virginia didn't want that back. Second to Texas Tech did not win their conference for him. And okay. Michigan state. Virginia. Okay. Okay. How about this Texas Tech team? How about the run they've gone on beacon Zog, they beat Michigan. They've got an MBA prospect on their team in Culver, tell us about tech. And how they've gotten here. Back to tech has remade their roster twelve months guys who weren't on the lobster a year ago. Matt Mooney three going came in grad transfers and got an unbelievable job at totally buying in that, you know, some greater than the whole part. And you know, you think about what this team was able to do in the big twelve. I mean, a lot of people aren't talking about it now because they went to final four, but they can what they accomplish this year. They win share the big regular TV title. The first fifteen years to do that that wasn't Kansas..
