Thousands of Lawful US Residents Left in Afghanistan
"Cards are available and there are thirteen to fourteen million of them in the united states. For any number of reasons you can be the family member of an american citizen. You can be a religious worker. You can be an afghan who worked for the united states anytime for at least a year on the international security assistance mission for a year. You have gotten your green card that way you can mean. International broadcasting can be a member of an international organization. We don't know who those thousands of green card members are but david drucker. It made it to your paper. The washington examiner yesterday. The big story of the lincoln hearing was the green card number thousands of waffle. Us resonance left in afghanistan. Were you surprised by that. No not necessarily. I mean i think the larger issue here or you know the issue here he is. Does the administration know exactly. How many are there. They are is it. Thousands and thousands is it the low thousands The issue is one. We left them there but second do know who they are. David i have to disagree with you after three weeks. Four weeks of hearing about one hundred americans then bahir blankets at well. We have thousands of green card holders. Hey they're americans. They have legal permanent residents here. Like duane said next door neighbors a bread. Who married in american adam. The engineer chief engineer here his mom's canadian. Pr lp are everywhere. I mean they just left him right. And i think that's i think that's the larger issue but i also think it's important that the administration either knows who they left. Were doesn't know who they're left in. Are they being candid. Especially in these hearings earrings with what they know in decisions. They made in one of the things. I would like to see out of the senate today that i didn't really see out of the house yesterday as some really incisive pointed questionings with let's grandstand in so the administration either starts to talk about decisions. Made and what. The situation on the ground is more just simply reveals that it was as haphazard inside as it looked on the outside and they don't really know what's going on but i think it's important for the american public to understand that i definitely important for congress understand that to put the proper amount of pressure on the administration and at least be able to talk about this in a real way.

Roughly quarter million new cases reported among children. The highest total yet but biden's plan to mandate vaccinations at workplaces across. America is facing swift and severe resistance drawing attacks and threats of legal action from at least nineteen republican governors. We're going to begin there this morning with surgeon. General vivek murthy dr murthy. Thank you for joining us this morning. You know the president resisted issuing mandates for months thank you the president resisted issuing mandates for months and the administration repeatedly explained that he lacked the legal authority for sweeping mandates. So what changed george. Let's talk about where we are. And what the president announced Fortunately we have made a tremendous amount of progress over the last eight months. I want to remind people of this because they can get lost in the in the news about the delta varying delone but because we have two hundred million people george with at least one shot of the vaccine. We are in a much better place than we otherwise would have been with that. Said delta is a tough foe. It's throw curveballs at us. And we have to be prepared to respond and that is why. The president announced a ambitious and thoughtful plan. that he nfl earlier this lab past week which is intended to help us get through the next phase of this variant now to be clear requirements that he announced or not sweeping requirements for the entire nation. These are focused on areas where the federal government has legal authority to act so seventeen million healthcare workers. Who do we were operating. Deadly Passion: How an Obsession Led to Murder
"Once. Esther and jim retired. Esther insisted on moving south to swim. Washington soon after the move to swim esther learned. She had cancer and she died two years later. Esther's death hit jim hard and he decided to move back to alaska where he would be closer to his son. He bought a house in wa- silla on golden dale drive and his neighbors across the street were hanged dawson and his eighth wife. Thirty year. Old terry according to neighbors wheeler became good friends with the dawson's and was a frequent dinner guests at their house. Hank and terry dawson suffered marital problems in the summer of nineteen ninety-three and hank temporarily moved out of the house to live in anchorage. Los Angeles Lakers Could Fill out Roster With DeAndre Jordan
"Just give us a little on. What you think's going to happen with andre jordan was traded to the pistons. Everybody's yeah he's going to be out and that means he's going to be the next guy that the lakers will go get what do you say i think he is I think they're the most likely team to get him But there's just. I never say never with bio guys even because this is kind of been the rumor for three or four weeks at this point That this happened in brooklyn and it was just a matter of were they going to do the bio for him was he going to have to be traded. I if it say brooklyn a whole lot of money the fact that they they just save millions of dollars on their luxury tax bill by doing it this way. Also nicer de'andre like deandra got that because he was part of the kevin durant kyrie irving initial big three in in brooklyn and he was just. He's friends with all those guys. They played on team usa together and he was essential for them in signing with the nets. A little while back and it was a him signing that he gets paid twenty million a year that is not his market value. They overpaid for him. In the beginning as part of a like a sign let sign kevin durant and kyrie irving and it was you know finally worked out that way but at some point you make so much money and your they have a lot of guys at that position but they you know straight into detroit. They they They're going to do a buy out. He's going to give back a little bit of money. Detroit gets four second round out of it so they get something And also some other some other complicated salary cap things but we all thought lamarcus aldridge was going to miami. Last year on the market he ended up going to brooklyn so until he clears. Waivers and intel other teams have a chance to approach the andre. I wouldn't i wouldn't say it's likely or expected or anything like that. I would use much more. Vague words. you know. He fits with the lakers. He would fit in that role. I think would have a pretty well defined role and if you're on the buyout market and you're gonna sign for minimum like that's what you're looking for is someplace you can play.

And we'll talk more about this too but the if democrats are smart they're going to leverage this at least from electoral stamp point on top of everything else that needs to be done but here is. Here's rich lowry hunt. Msnbc we're in in wisey on msnbc. Well i people are acting as a row has been overturned. I would welcome that outcome. And it may eventually be in stops case but it hasn't been overturned yet at all this is a procedural ruling that clearly was the correct one. There was no harm here yet. The eight defendants had done nothing even joining them. If if that's what happened wouldn't have stopped this law. Because they had their government officials have for second positive law positive. Sp eight into law in may and of course the trick behind the law is that unlike similar deliberately unconstitutional abortion bans. heartbeat ends. What have you. Sba doesn't allow any state actors to enforce it there in fact prohibited from enforcing it instead literally everyone else. Any american anywhere is empowered is in fact conscripted to bring civil lawsuits against either an abortion provider. Or anyone who quote aids and abets those terms. Go undefined on abortion. That could include your counselor. Who talks to you about your options or the uber driver who drops you off at the clinic. Look the law is unconstitutional. Texas is well aware that the supreme court precedent sets the bar for abortion bans at viability. That somewhere between twenty two and twenty four weeks but this law was deliberately crafted so that there is no state actor and thus nobody for an abortion provider to take to court to try to get injunction one other thing if an abortion provider is sued in state court under sb eight. Can you give us a sense of how good vital has been this year and in particular. How good he's been the last four or five weeks it's mind-blowing honestly like i used to always say this and i think i'd finally stopped following my advice that you never underestimate joey about it and you know he struggled the last couple seasons and i started doubting it and starting downing if he could be joe yvonna again and not only is he joey votto. Defining Calisthenics with School of Calisthenics Co-Founders Tim Stevenson & Jacko Jackson
"What is meant by calisthenics or water. Calisthenics effectively was talking about progressive body weight training. So people will Wrongly put in the box of pushups in. Maybe pull up as exciting guess. Callous things to say that a lot further and often the kingpins of movements things. Muslims handstands human flags strength based hansen work. That kind of stuff. Oftentimes he has a kind of a borderline with some of the strength based yoga positions. That people will be will be familiar with as well. There's kind of an overlap. There brace all the way down. So i mean a lot of my training. These days were focused around what we would call fundamental skills of just using bodyweight on pushing and pulling patterns without beyond balls or rings typically close kency chain kind of movement said one fix on the floor or in the on a ball and and yeah as feroza big paul of it was around play and that was one thing that we found when we go into it it was just gave us the freedom we being strengthened condition for while i was going into the gym which like jacko and being on a squad for the next four weeks lead to five rep zoysia. Do ten reps right. What are one. But i'm basically doing the same thing. We found calisthenics. Rely all this new stuff we can learn like it was just fun and to to how it starts in why we now have a school of calisthenics taio ganic process. We started playing around with it. Far enjoyment is that the story jacket mentioned before was had two shoulder reconstructions at the latest one antonio the physio decaying shoulder the rehab. Bassi didn't work. So i decided if i could learn to hanson and that would give me some confidence that how to stable shoulder that was the starting point and we kind of just explored played around with it and then some people at the gym that we were trading at the time just came in last as if he was to put a workshop on. We were obviously making progress. Because we were flipping all when we started. I really bad too. Old birkin will be placed trying to learn things me twelve or thirteen years old. It was quite funny. How bad we were. But we saw arrives which we'd be used what we are kind of analytical brains and what we learned from sport breaking movements down and we workshop on and some people came. We told them to do a human flagging seven weeks. I'm relaxed. you know this is. This is fun to be teaching something a bit
Covid Cases on the Rise in Washington State
"Cases are on a steep rise in our state health officials say that built a variant is driving a dramatic surge pushing hospital capacity. To the edge, almost having Natasha saying the state is now saying, like seeing that, as daily case counts in the 3000 range hasn't been like that, since the winter surge, actually talked to doctors, Elizabeth meet and Ali Meqdad. The hardest hit are unvaccinated people making up 96% of Covid 19 cases across the state. The really frustrating thing I think for people on health care is that we actually we're getting to a point where we had numbers under pretty good control. The State Health Department says even though we have more vaccines than ever, we also have the more contagious and predominant Delta variant wreaking havoc. That's right. It's very transmissible. And so when we have any significant chunk of the population that's not get vaccinated. Those are the people who really, really get sick with Delta right now, the Covid 19 transmission number in western Washington. Is the highest it's ever been since the beginning of the pandemic. Young people are impacted in the last four weeks, more than a third of all cases in the state were from people aged 20 to 34. This is a serious virus has always been serious, and now it's more dangerous. Please run and get your vaccine and please keep wearing a mask. Tammy
Why Investing Isn't Quick, Easy Money With Financial Advisor Ramit Sethi
"Let me start off with what happened with my first investments. So here it is. It's around nine hundred ninety nine two thousand. Everybody thinks they're tech genius. You put money in any stock. It goes up twenty six percent the next day. So what do i do. I take my college scholarship money. And i put some of it in the stock market thinking. This is twenty percents guarantee and every day. It's going up and down but mostly was there massive euphoria. I wasn't focused. Yes yes everybody was. Everybody believed there are genius so in a bull market. Everybody believes their genius. And they all say the same phrase. This time it's different. It's such a funny phrase that in the investment world people make fun of it. It's a there mocked because it's never different it's actually the same thing bubbles expand But over time they mathematically cannot continue so here we have people making millions of dollars who would otherwise be working in a parking garage and they are giving stock tips out and telling everybody you gotta get into this j. d. s. You this you know all kinds of stuff. So i take my college scholarship money. Put it in the market. And i very quickly lose half the money because of the crash. Yeah or because of the crash and so what happens is i realized. Oh my god. I'm not as smart as i thought. It's not easy to become a millionaire through investing in two weeks and so here is where there was a pivotal moment one. I could have doubled down. And said i just picked the wrong stock. Let me pick another stock. This is very similar to what you here. with people. In the crypto world well my investment quote investment dropped fifty percent. But you know. I gotta do this coin or coins etc. What i chose to do is go different. Say you know what. I don't think i'm that smart about investing and i actually wanna learn how fundamental basic investing works so things like law low-cost long-term things like reading about john vogels philosophy etc. And i started to learn about it. And i realized you can spend your entire life trying to trade but traders hardly ever make money over the long term if we were gonna define trade timing the mark. Yeah it's like. I understand this stock it's undervalued. Yeah i'm gonna bikes. I know it's going. And i'm gonna do it short-term right so i'm going to create this narrative that ooh this stock look at the trading. Look at the chart and i'm going to try to make quick money in in four weeks. Everybody now know somebody who trades those people almost all lose

Do At-Home LED Masks Really Work?
"Led which stands for light emitting. Diode is one of my all time fave treatments to have done. And i know you probably feel like i say that all the time but this one really is. It was about five years ago. That i i started getting only locks which is a type of professional in salon light treatment and it helped clear up my acne more effectively than anything. I'd tried over the decade prior. Now we've done an hoskin expert episode on light therapy and what it does so we will link that in the show notes fee to get more data if you missed it but i'll do a summary for you. Led therapy is noninvasive. It's a treatment that uses different wavelengths of light to visibly improve in rejuvenate the skin. So it's actually nasa technology which is like spice in shish. That's the scientific way to explain. Nassar that was adopted by the skin. Care community thanks to its ability to heal wounds and tame inflammation and actually my lady. That does my omni omni literally said. Look if you've got a really bad injury. Oh cuddle. Something she's like pulpit onto the omni lock slide and it's really good at like healing and timing that inflammation so the different wavelengths target different areas within the skin by sending energy into the cells to stimulate natural cellular responses so the most common lights used the blue light frequencies which is typically used to treat acne. So that's what. I started with all those years ago while red is used for anti aging concerns. So let's chat about the at harm. La mosques that make us a look and feel like power ranges. obviously the ad harm devices a less powerful than the treatments. You'd get at a salon which means it'll take longer and more used to see visible results swear professional. Led treatment would have me looking. Glory town healthy. After a single session. It would take about three to four weeks of daily at home. led mosque to see the similar result. And trust me. i have done that

"Us on Thursday. Joe Biden making some statements as we speak about this, this hack of this pipeline, the gas situation and as I assumed Just a few moments ago, and I didn't know this. I was right. Joe Biden just confirmed what I think most of us already knew was that this was Russia. Russia. This wasn't Europe. This was Russia, people in Russia. That hacked into our systems once again. And We talked about Being difficult on Russia. Well, siding with evil, murderous dictators is going to continue these things from happening, and I hope Joe Biden puts the clamp down so this never happens again. It's unbelievable. Alright, continuing this discussion. Listen, also forget that if we were to get into a conflict with Russia at this point, we would lose. We would lose a war with Russia, particularly a ground war with Russia. They have about 60% more. Ground troops. Then we do they have simply more tanks, more heavy artillery, and Joe Biden did call Vladimir Putin a killer about three or four weeks ago. Vladimir Putin then challenged by into a debate. Biden turned down that debate. I think that could be why we just saw Take place. What took place? Okay, so because they have more tanks, I guess that means that we should side with evil murders today, Okay, but we have a guest on the line now. I'm sorry. I want to get to the guest on the line now, and maybe we can continue this conversation with him. His name is Dave Jenkins. He's the president of the Conservatives for responsible stewardship. Eyes gonna talk this little bit of what he thinks the Biden administration can do to protect Nevada taxpayers and what needs to be done to fix what I believe is a broken oil and gas leasing system. Dave Jenkins, Thank you so much for joining us. How are you? What's up, Dave? Good. Thank you for having me. So before we get into specifics here, can you talk a little bit about your organization? What is this conservative for Responsible Stewardship group? Can you give us a little bit of background? Sure we're basically what the name says. We're conservatives who care about stewardship and conservation. Protecting our natural resource is, you know an environment that sustains life here on on our planet? And when we talk about stewardship, you know, we also talk about fiscal stewardship as well. Which is supposed to be another conservative value that people are supposed to hold close. Okay, so I want to ask Dave your your first reaction. Joe Biden just said that it was Russia that hacked into our systems once again, causing the situation that we're in right now. What's your reaction to that? No surprise. Really? Yeah. I mean, this has been happening. This kind of thing has been happening for for quite a while. And I'm just like everybody. I'm kind of kind of stunned. Why are our virus protection software And you know all the brilliant computer minds we have are not able to prevent this stuff from happening. Yeah, that's a really good point. And I certainly agree with you with the richest country in the world that we're living in, Dave, This stuff should not be happening. First of all, Russia should not be hacking into anything that we own, including. You know, I'm sure you would. Ruby elections and in this specific situation is David. I think one of the reasons why that are most brilliant minds right now, particularly with with computers and cybersecurity. And just with with everything digital right now, they are in the private sector. A lot of more focused on Cryptocurrency. A lot of them have their own businesses. Lot of don't work for the government. You think there's a correlation there. Well, I mean, yeah, we we need to have the brightest and best working for us. That's why we historically we've had the national laboratories. That, um, you know, like Livermore and Sandia that have post you know, attracted the greatest minds to some of the big Technical challenges that we have before us, so we should probably take the same approach and make sure we get the best and brightest in dealing with this kind of security. Sure, Okay, so I want to get to the Biden administration. Let's start with the Trump Administration's What were things that you are happy with What Donald Trump did when it came to the oil and gas leasing systems. And what are things that you think Donald Trump did that they could have done a better job of Well, we weren't happy with a lot because we were focused on on this oil and gas leasing in the western US for for you know, there was a big focus of ours. And the thing is, is that The leasing and stuff. The whole oil and gas drilling policy on our federal lands completely defied the market. I mean, you look at them. It was like it was this leasing bench where it was just sort of Get every other land value. Forget recreation, Forget tourism. Forget anything else. Water supply. Just go willing nearly Lisa's much land as you possibly can. It was just this. Total commodity thing, but then it it didn't follow the market like you during the pandemic. We had all tankers lined up off the coast of California that didn't have anywhere to put their oil right. We had all companies going belly up because You know, the price of oil was so low that they couldn't make a profit. And yet what are we doing? We're releasing, you know. Thousands hundreds of thousands of acres across the American West during that time period, and No one's surprised. Guess what they brought in very little money. People bid the minimum bet A dollar 15 acres scarfed up a whole bunch of property when if we could just help them and sold them in the price of oil was hired, and then you had people. Companies competing against each other for those beds, then we would actually taxpayers would have made a lot more money. Sure, that's that's certainly that's a fair criticism as well. Now I know you've talked a lot about the body administration and how the administration can protect Nevada taxpayers. So let's talk about Nevada specifically right now give the layout of Nevada What do you want to see the binding administration do to protect Nevada taxpayers? Well, you know the first thing you're going to start with this question. Why is there so much all in gas leases, Legal acreage offered falling release in Nevada, Nevada, the hard rock state. Right. Your geology doesn't really have a lot of oil and gas yet over the past four years 2,500,295 acres were offered up for lease for all in gas Leasing. Um I don't see how that make and what planet that makes any sense. And you don't have toe you can anonymously nominate parcels for forbid. So, um, you know, the speculation is there's a lot of bad actors out there. They're not really all in gas companies that care about drilling, But they're just, uh Dominating the acres so that they can be sort of sit on a shelf and considered all in gas sacred so they won't be managed for other things like conservation or or hunting and fishing. Water supplies, things like that. So, um First of all, it's just it's nonsensical that that Nevada happens to be the target of all this leasing activity and to no surprise. Very few of those acreage actually actually get bit on..

I think the sidewalk for whatever reason is falling down and the answer seeing an opportunity to get underneath their soil ants from not gonna really disrupt that much carpenter ants. I've never seen it not saying it's possible, but it's highly unlikely they would just go right next to it may be under the little bit usually what happens in that situation? If it's not settlement? If it's a pest, it could be Two months. Going underneath there, but you'll see holes rats the same. You'll see holes and dirt thrown everywhere. Sometimes moles can get underneath there and have that Those things that would be doing that they would make themselves very well known. Very well known. Yeah. Wouldn't be like a little ant, You know, nest coming apart of the crack that happens everywhere. Right, because every so often, uh, I know head you guys come out to do a treatment because there was act activity last year, and they took care of that. Uh, there's no Actually answered. I see right now, but, uh, it was about Four weeks ago or so that I noticed The situation coming up again, and it's like both I'd hate to think that Zelman because the thing I want to do is make sure it's nothing. Active that's under money before tried to have it. Let's say, jacked up Sure boat and then It could be whatever I want to have happen is, you know there's something active going on there? Yeah, There's a situation that that's called heaving. That can happen with concrete pillars of sidewalks. Things like that's basically if you get water underneath there, which is extremely possible. On. Then it freezes. It pushes it up. And then when it falls, it falls down. And if you continue to do this process You're making that space a little bit bigger, a little bit bigger each time. And again that's called heaving like if you don't have the footer of certain Construction deep enough The Earth will push up when it freezes. And if you're not down below the frost line like a deck, it'll lift that deck up like six inches it can do. I've seen it. It's crazy, and there's nothing there. It's just get somebody come out Swarm. It's gone. What happened? It's just ice. But it won't get better. So, um We definitely have that looked at And if somebody says it's a pest issue, then give us a call. But I don't think it's the best issue, especially this time of year. If it was very obvious. Are you moving to Florida? Are you moving the Florida Of You heard a rumor? Something I'm planning moves a photo. Yeah, I heard you on the different radio show and I thought I thought that was Oh, yeah. Okay, So, yes, I'm tracking you eventually. Yes. OK, I know who you are, man. I'm tracking you. Yeah, I was listening. Only I knew that guy. Yeah, he goes in very good. Well, let us know if we could do anything to help to take a look at it. Whatever. But from a pest standpoint, I don't think that's happening. Okay. All right, then I should feel good enough in the world have jacked up and then I'm not worried about it. Direct, you know, put stone underneath their setup. That'll increase decrease the pest issue as well. Mm. Uh, especially those things. They're warming up here shortly, you know, Keep your eye on it. Okay? They're gonna start moving. You sure? Yes. Okay. If I see more activity, I'll let you guys know. Well, thank you very much. And you guys have a great weekend. Thank you. Say you do the same. Thank you. All right. I'm gonna have a great weekend because your mom is.

"Is the financial exchange with Mike Armstrong and Barry Armstrong. I think we're about 18 months removed from the last Boeing 7 37 Max crash were Isn't that like February march of last year March of 19 sounds about right. So now A mere 18 to 20 months later, the FAA is in their final stages to approve the 7 37 Max could be as soon as November. 18th. Good morning. Everybody is burying Michael with you here and big question. Is anybody willing to get on the darn thing? I think so. I've already been on it. Prior to the crash site of the crash was that's a big detail. Well, you know, I just wanted in their very next play. He broke on Tio, can't they were flying for maybe six months or so, and I flew them a few times. Andi, I think I'm gonna be flying again on November 30th. I'm pretty sure I'll be flying on a max. And I don't know about you guys, but I'll jump right on. I think this is gonna be the safest plane in the air. I think so, Too S O. We had received news about four weeks ago that the European, the European Union aviation regulator had basically put out there that they were ready to approve the max. I didn't really know this. But under international law, the FAA actually has to approve it first. I don't know if that's because it's the home country in which it was manufactured or what exactly their laws. But according to international law, FAA must approve it before any other international agency can, at which point they will so I kind of figured that. You know that announcement for the from the European Union was intentional, right? The FAA wanted another Agency that actually still has a decent reputation to approve something first, because in my view, at least the FAA has lost a lot of their credibility, I think, but you know how this works. It's It's like a pendulum, right? And, yeah, they lost a lot of credibility on the max. And now they are probably over regulating. They're probably being overly conservative with the regulation of this plane, which is why I think it might be the safest plane in the air. I I think it's good news. Boeing stock By the way, if you're a stockholder and Boeing it's up 10 bucks today, trading at 189. It might be getting ahead of itself because yeah, people might be willing to get on the 7 37 Max. But are they will get on a plane? You know, you still probably I don't know. Like how many years before we're back up to 2.5 million people flying again in the United States. I've maintained that I think it's an exceedingly long period of time. The CEOs of the airlines are telling you five years. I buy that. You know, I'd buy that. I bet that the volumes of passengers are still relatively high. But the volume of business travelers I maintain, is going to be very low for a long period of time. You say that, But, you know, like what percentage of business travelers sales related. You know, And I suspect it's sales marketing interpersonal, You know, contact? I don't know. I I talked to people friends, colleagues of mine who would literally fly out to Chicago for one meeting in the middle of day. Be there for two hours, not contribute to the meeting. Really? Just be. There is a back up and then five, speaking alone just two weekends ago who came over And he's like, Yeah, I'm never going to do that type of travel again. Like I was there as a sales support person. I needed to provide numbers in case something came up in the meeting. It never did. And now I'll just be on a zoom called during same sales meeting and it won't be there. So I don't know a time will tell. I mean, there's there's a few positive things going for Boeing, right? You had the Visor news yesterday, which drove the stock up. You have the F A A potential news soon. On the other hand, you have some potential big you tariffs that are staring down Boeing here. There's there's for $4 billion worth of terrorist that the European Union now can slap on to American made goods, and in particular, you're looking at a 15% import tariff on Boeing aircraft into the European Union. Well, everybody's gonna be screaming bloody murder about tariffs. Now, The Joe Biden's a tariff guy. He just he used to be. Were Republicans were anti terror. And all of a sudden now Republicans are pro tariff on and I don't know where Biden is. He probably does. Notorious. So quite literally, is that joker that's something quite literally may not know where he is. So this is, you know, in retaliation to a few things one, The United States received permission from the International Trade Group to be able to impose tariffs on European products because of Government support of Airbus. And so we did, and then you know, it was commonly known that the United States was doing the same thing with Boeing. We were subsidizing bowing to so now the Europeans can slap these on My guess is that you know the Europeans are doing this and there's a lot of debate as to whether to lay this until after the election, which they did. Now The election is done. They are putting these terrorists on. My guess is that Abidin Administration. If that's what we end up with is going to negotiate a lot of these away with the European Union because I tend to think that they're going to focus much more on trade with China and make that the make that if they're going to have a trade fight, then they want that to be their their big push. But I don't know any other alternative is just to say no tariffs period. Right between Europe and the United States. You're you really want to take a shot at China? That's the way to do it. Just say we're going to drop all tariffs between any European Union countries and the United States and Canada. In Mexico. So one Europeans won't agree to it. They protect a lot of their industries bought more than night..

"With the big screen TV Veronica Rate back over on the other side of town with the ones and twos keeping me keeping me sounding good, you know, and we'll take Bruce money for coming on. Yes, Bruce You were right. You were right. You said that it would be a conference on ly type of play Maybe eight games. They they're trying to work it out to be 10. But we'll see. As I said, we were goingto go to AA. Maddie. Boom, boom. Leech have him come on four o'clock usually and I know that you probably People out there. We usually have Isaiah on Michigan just got a big commitment ideas covering that Michigan basketball. It's something we'll we'll talk about later with men so mad I don't know if you heard Bruce, but We had it live, he said. I said it on your show, J. Mo four weeks ago that that the big tin was going to do something like this, and he did say that we were talking about that as one of the options that the victim did. And They were the first women for the first time. They were the leaders and there were the leaders. They came out made a decision and everybody else is sitting there going what happened? Yeah. You know, we talked about it a little bit yesterday. J mom. I've got to be the leaders in the best Ivy League, you know, they said that they're going to go ahead and push. There's all the way back. We're not going to go quite to that extreme just yet, and Bruce brought it up a few times to that. Again. This is the plan that we're moving to right now, with the information that we have right now, and that can change at any time. But you know again, I agree with you. I applaud the Big 10 for making the move. If we are going to move forward with our sports this fall that we are going to do it in a more cautious manner, we're not going to travel all across the country, some potential dangerous. Or Maurin fluency areas by Cove it and we're going to keep things here in the in the Midwest. So again, I agree with Bruce. I applaud the Big 10 in their decision and making it You know, like you said they were taking flak for making this decision with so much time before the season we had, like a month and 1/2 until the season supposed to start how much more time Do you? Do you think that we should give And so we, You know it's not like the things if you are going to make a decision to go to whether it is an eight or 10 game conference schedule. There. There's a lot of moving parts that are going to go into that. Ah, lot preparation for those teams for the season as opposed to start here very soon. So again. I agree with you. I commend The the big pen. I agree with Ruth and again shout out birth money. He was a great, great uh uh, member of this athletic department, one of my favorite professors here at the University of Michigan and he turned me on to a book. 50 year seduction. Um, how television manipulated college football in the birth of the modern and play. Um, that was one of the best books. I have a red and strongly recommended to just about everybody out there. No, it's a great book. No, you're You're right that well, I And look, here's the thing. I mean, you give yourself time. Ah, you Khun do the schedule is, Bruce said. Don't look for traditional schedule. That's that's all blown up. All of that. The Michigan Ohio State game will not be the last game of the season. As he said they're gonna push everything up. Try to get it in. We've been blessed Azad Veronica and I talked at the beginning of this radio show we've been blessed with. I mean, we've got we the cove. It is that we don't have the breakout that they have down south and I would be The initial thoughts again. I just want to point out this virus is so still so young, and we're still learning about each and every day. And you know, we thought it was it would react like the flute and the flu goes away. When when the heat comes on, when when there's summer and different things like that. You see very few people get a summer flu. It happens, but it's it's a rare its a rare scene, but that being said, you see what's going on around the country, and I mean, like I said, we may not be. Kevin Ward did say this and I went back and watched the video. We were thinking we're preparing to have a season, but we may not have a seizure. And a lot of people have a banking that we won't have a season. You know, Jamie, as time continues, it becomes it looks. Ah, you know, dimmer and dimmer that light at the end of the tunnel that we call a, You know a normal Normal season for 2020 or normal. At least football season our fall sports schedule for college athletics Does not look like it's gonna happen. You know again we've made, you know, just the first precaution that we felt was, you know, necessary at this point, but again, they can change at any day. So you know, I think As we continued and seen that the numbers aren't necessarily trending in the right direction that we have. We have to really prepared for the things so we're going to do what's best, like you know, Bruce was bringing the best come belief in the sense that he was bringing up from Spanish flu era and the games played in 1919 18 18. That was incredible. But you know, like he said, the Missouri Valley conference, which is what we know now, as the Big 12 they canceled the season. The Big 10 didn't do that. You know, it is possible were like you said Down south, where the outbreak seemed to be. Ah, little bit more prominent. It could be where they might not be able to play this season. And we could so J. Mo. I'm all for moving Michigan, Ohio State first game of the season. Give us a chance to win. Let's do it first game of the year. So even if we play one game, at least, that would exactly no. I hear what you're saying. Look, it's changing everywhere and it's going to change everywhere, and people should expect this again. I mean, I was listening. Sam and I were this morning. Ah, they were they were. They were Debbie Downers. I don't think it's going to mean the consensus words. I don't think there was gonna be a season. I'm not that far out there. You know, I'm not that far. I'm thinking with the loss of the with pulling the the nonconference games. You still could start the season. Earlier. Get that season and get you could get you get for even get four weekends in you in this in September. If you get those in you get him in. Then you go into October and you try to get get those weeks in. I'm not thinking by weeks. I'm not. I'm saying you gotta you gotta work, if you if if you can keep the cove it down and keep everything. No outbreaks, no sparks or anything. You try to get a man. Gives me and as you can, and you know, there's a season. It is what it is. And look, I get it they want they want some type of normal. That's what they're looking for. That's why basketball, eh, NBA basketball is playing, man. They're down there and people are upset. I mean, they're doing all this testing with the players every time they practise every time they play every time. You know they're testing these players. Make sure that they don't have it. And now people will say, Well, the people on the streets can't get testing. But you guys are getting testing. But they're trying to give you some normalcy, some type of normal. Saying that you can get used to And that's why they're trying to push football as I and Bruce said, I mean, Max, think about this. We're not just talking. Is there going to be? Is there going to be a high school football? Like I said the bloodline. College football is recruiting Now, how are you going to recruit a young man? And he doesn't have a football season. You hope he stays in shape. Do you think he's going to stay in shape and everything like that?.

S. inspectors anybody from the U. S. to go and check out the level for bio weapons lab works is suspected that that virus that they were experimenting on on pangolins either leaked via a human source or the infected lab animals were sold into China is wet market impacted the population so you know you've got a situation right now where China has massive Y. ability here and are going to be sued by multiple multiple countries for this outbreak and the destruction that this is created and the cover up with him how big is he grows has yet dacite to remain in his position right now when he sat out with a personal favor to the Chinese president because he got him the job ads who essentially and kept this a secret to protect China's economy this is A. B. on the outrageous and I think what we're looking at would be outraged if you know lockdowns are continuing to go on in the United States when George this virus has mutated to the point that is much is sixty now maybe seventy percent of the population has already been infected with corona virus and are a symptomatic that's true now John I also want you to do a little homework force I found out last night was from one of our guests that apparently there are some individuals and maybe some companies that have patents on certain coronaviruses what the heck is that all about well this is it this is a market for bio weapons George we know that it's a you know this this is being done all over the plans being done by Russia to be done by the United States is done by China bio weapons research I mean look we went to war in two thousand and three you know over alleged weapons of mass destruction these weapons of mass destruction and see us the existing child exist in the United States and that they are patented and they are sold on the open market so yes we we we do need to draw people's attention to that okay my friend John Curtis online columnists dot com the stock market wrapped up its best month in April since nineteen eighty seven as the corona virus recovery continues truly amazing even though a drop today it seems to be holding on Catherine Austin Fitts is live in the Netherlands with us Catherine what's your take and what are you hearing about the economy out that way about the U. S. because of this coronavirus well I think you George you've done it the great lengths have been made to use six songs to shut down the global economy and the reality is you're seeing tremendous in it from the time of the shut down in the first month U. S. billionaires increased their wealth ten percent so there are a lot of people moving to take extraordinary opportunity is this a centralized control of the economy the economy is clearly very very slow we see predictions of drops in the second quarter for the U. S. as much as forty percent of GDP it's unprecedented that's unbelievable right well it's this is a war and you know it it raises serious questions about whether this is in this fire since engineer didn't who did it well you know we're convinced it was engineered hardwood got out that's another story of course whether it was an accident or done on purpose it's going to take how long do you think Catherine once things slowly get back to normal for the economy to get back to normal well I don't know that the economy will get back to normal because if you look at the if you look at the proposals being made you know the proposals being made are includes those civil and individual and national sovereignty so you know and and I have to tell you this I have no idea how this virus got out but if you look at the extent to which it has fostered the U. S. dollar it's been pretty macular us so if you look at the proposals being made in the extent to which you know the proposal to basically install an operating system and in people and and regularly updated with mandated vaccines yeah that's going to make gates in his syndicate the richest people in the history of the planet absolutely yes it's a three I've never seen greed like this is unbelievable and and the willingness to to destroy and kill people you know to benefit the greed of a few it's extraordinary this is extraordinary as the corona virus itself Katherine thank you and stay safe out there in the Netherlands a story we have in our highlight reel it coast to coast AM dot com the president's king some video of the Pentagon showing unidentified aerial phenomena video that you've seen a few months ago that we have posted our highlight reel again he called it a hell of a video and told Reuters that he wonders if it's real earlier this week the Pentagon officially released the three videos that we told you about months ago that show what appears to be unidentified flying objects rapidly moving wall recorded by infrared cameras from Davey jets two of the videos contain servicemembers reacting in awe of how quickly the objects are moving one voice speculates that it could be from another world up next Nick pope joins us we're going to talk about this incredible story next on coast to coast AM you're on edge all day and usually poor Billy at night and if that sums up your new normal you'd be wise to.

He was the guy. Go back a couple of months ago, not months ago, maybe maybe three or four weeks ago where when the Lakers were finally starting to come unraveled he said, they should shut LeBron down and then fast forward the game against the Celtics Japan Gundy on the broadcast said that the Lakers should at least explore trading. Lebron James is a way to kind of reboot the team. Paul Pierce said if the Lakers get the number one pick I would trade LeBron James you're talking about three years left of LeBron or fifteen years left of Zion story from Travis that's from ball his life dot com. Okay. Where it came from. Yes is not like I could have three years of guy. Who's at the point right now. Giving me twenty eight right? I can have fifteen years. I'm trying to help me. I'll key about missing some the part that I don't quite get you could have both of them if you draft on Williams keep both of them. You don't have to move one for the other. I guess this is the part. I don't understand. I get it. You know, there is there is the the notion that if he can pull a Herschel Walker scenario, you can be Dallas Cowboys, but basketball doesn't work the same way. No it. It's just didn't bring Brian hit a trading, right? They didn't sign. Odell Beckham JR. That's a good. That's a good comparison. Because what we all sat in here when the adultery came down. We are all sitting here. And we also what what the hell are they doing? They wasted a bunch of money. They went through a couple of seasons. They got virtually nothing out of del of than a couple of highlight reel plays as far as the culture, and the winning goes nothing really happened while he was there. They move him out the price that they got back. Come in the other way is pennies on the dollar, really. And everybody's looking at the giants. Like what the hell is going on over there? Here's the same thing would happen if the Lakers moved LeBron James, even if maybe he's at the end of his prime, which he is. I mean, it's a sixteenth year in the league's inevitable for sure. But it's as simple as this. The Lakers will never trade LeBron James because of the message it would be sending that they don't know what the hell they're doing never mind. Maybe you could get Herschel Walker deal. Maybe you could get this in less the hall..

"Hundred sixty four nice win for mic and the cats tonight crush on what five in a row that's fourteen at twenty nine from three point range when they do that they're going to wear gonna win defense Schmidt fence. Yeah. Game on Sunday. That was that was really sad temple that kind of lost track action the mid mid point. Let me look at what time it is. I don't know continue in the afternoon. I oh the game. Yeah. I just find it and say you no right now. I do I know what I wanna look any bears by embarrassed by us. We have been doing this since one October October. Yeah, we did a couple in July shifts in July, try out. We started our Thursday night regularity in Okinawa Tober and was it four weeks ago. I guess four weeks ago. I finally built a Facebook page you did and a Twitter page. I'm sorry. You did right. Honor Twitter, you did the famous got to split things up about a month ago. Ralf are numbers are pathetic. All right Twitter. And and then we did this to make it easy. Right. It's gamble capital fan. I still think that's confused gamble. The I just you know, how people are many needed. Simple gamble and fan when you write it all out looks like a train wreck. I understand well, so an handles and all these different way ads and hashtags. And so it is gamble capital. N fan on both Facebook and Twitter. Are we only have five hundred and eighty four Facebook friends? Ralph has probably because I went through my page, and friend a bunch of people on my people haven't shown up your people haven't really shown up enter Twitter's even more the Nemec two hundred sixty two followers with with as much wisdom as we have to dispense. And as good a leaders as we could be only have two hundred sixty two followers is embarrassing. So my goal is to get winter from to sixty two to twenty thousand by this time next week. I'm getting three hundred looking at three hundred. Let's let's step at a time. And steps as they say five hundred and eighty four let's see if we can get that to one hundred and twenty million on Facebook, do that sure why not bearing we saw I'll start posting more eighty that your first post your next puzzle? Be your I post, but I'm excited because we were talking about good news and fun. Yeah. This weekend. I get to do it. I don't know if it's really caused play. I forgot it. But I'm going to the father daughter dance swayed many fan your daughter, but this is great. You'll love this. The theme is Disney. Right. So she chose wreck it Ralph. So you get to be right to be Ralph. Now, I have a couple of questions about the father daughter dance. Yeah. What do you do with your hair? We bought we bought a wig. And then she put it on me and cut it to look like Ralph's hair. Okay. Tuck up my that's why. Concerned about you ever gonna just chop that off? I don't know. What is the purpose of just because I can right? What my mom says that all the time. Do you grow your hair out like that I go because I can you know, many guys my age can't you're staring across at now. Go in the back and said, they would just curl up. That'd be great. Get stuck. A good look sometimes I'm embarrassed when I see a picture and go got him. I really that. You don't realize how badly bold you are into your the you're forced a look. But the fro you were. I mean you and Bob Ross. Like velcro whenever you like, we'll take your hat off momentarily me. I don't know if I saw you out without a hat. If I would completely recognize you serious has probably I've never seen you without a hat. It happens to be all the time in my business. Like, you know, you see like a baseball coach they wear baseball uniform. Yeah. Hats base. Sometimes I'll see somebody out I'll go. Hey, tom. How're you doing bully? Yeah. Well, is it's all that. I tell them. I just didn't recognize you because I've never seen you not in a uniform place to our whole theme of context that we've been talking about with everything tonight. But it looked like Shrek to my little upgrade those camera photos. This was pertaining to when you go now and a lot of the schools they have to you have to you have to put your up license and the back code the bar code on the lice take a photo. Well, first of all like bought my head's like half in the picture and half out of looked like Shrek. Well, thanks to Rick rim. And if you've got to gamble capital and Finn you go new graphic. There's a reason to get to one hundred twenty million friends on Facebook right there. What is what is somebody from the station gonna start? Well, we don't have a blog though, we don't have. We don't want to have a bio apple podcast. Well, we're on the podcast the podcast page, but depending upon what it's called the sake. Good luck, finding it. Now. I would tell you. Between that you can go the iheartradio app, and you can you find us. If you wanna listen, I'm disappointed. We were not we didn't win. We're working on one hundred percent. Sure, we didn't win one of the iheartradio podcast awards in its inaugural. I mean, it'd be a little bit absurd for them. Not to avoided a something in its first year. Don't you think I do maybe what we'll do is? We'll get the saints lawyer. And we'll sue to find the real results to see what ward we won. I will say though, back to that briefly before I ask you a different question. I will say the NFL, and that's pretty brutal. I mean, you think about a guy like drew Brees. Who knows? I mean, he's he can't have more than one or two more. And I know he says he's coming back. But I mean, you think about what that call not being made changed. I it put a different team in the Super Bowl. This wasn't some third week in the pre season. Right. I mean, that's okay. Well, until that point then. The coin flip because I've here I hear a lot about the overtime rule and all it should be more like college or well. The chiefs defense is paid to go out and play defense, and they didn't do it and done. But I mean to never even have a chance to touch the ball that bothers me the fact that if you know, I don't like that. If you kick a field goal than the other team gets the ball. But if they score a touchdown. It's over that seems kind of silly to me. See I don't like I don't like penalty kicks in soccer. Yeah. I just don't I don't like to shoot outs in hockey. That's not the actual way. The game is played. Correct. So I think in football, I think pick whatever tie, and maybe you just do this in the playoffs pick a time period. And there's an extra whatever that may be. You wanna make a talented tens probably too short make play another another play. Another fifteen minutes. Benefits tied at the end of that. Then you have some sort of sudden down over time watch only in the playoffs watching the college overtimes exciting because both teams get it. It's a short field. But that's not the way the game is kind of plus well, plus if you put the other fifteen minutes on the clock, you are really then testing stamina conditioning game planning adjustments all those sorts of things. And you know, as I say Brady it goes down. They score the touchdown. But Mahomes says all right. I'll see your touchdown. And I'll raise you a touchdown on a two point conversion, and I will say that what they both were outstanding. The patriots chiefs game was outstanding. And you're seeing I know Brady's still got it going on in the patriots are unbelievable. But you also are passing the torch because I'm telling you Patrick Mahomes. And I know we missed that wide open receiver early all that you're going to have that. That's it. You are already. He's in KFC championship game. But I've never seen anybody that can sling all sidearm around the defender right to where it is. By the way, if I'm not mistaken there are five former Bengals that will play in the Super Bowl. That's fine. How about that? And a little local note, Jake mcquaid who's a long snap for the Rams is an LDL guy. I elder guy get to this about right? Yeah. That's pretty cool. That's some good news to look at us. We're just chock full of happiness and good news for everybody. Go tristate as well. As what I say. And coming up when we after we get a check on news with rob carpenter who tobacco in the hour, as you know, it's a segment we do each and every week. I have some headlines for all. And I've got I've got fewer. But I've got you know, including pithy you like to eat corral. All right. Do you like bacon? Oh, okay. What's with this coming week for one hour, Mattel, you a little thing about bacon. And you don't even know this. There's a store you're the general manager of Bogart's. Correct. This is you got a cool event coming to Bogart's. You're gonna see me at when I'm going to ask you about big story on it in the paper here. What? Yeah, they're writing about you going to Bogart's in the paper. Well, as you well know. Was what the recliner seats? Get ready for that. Are you lean back news for you? And we will continue to year happy birthday celebration. I don't think she came out today though, it was too cold as we wrap things up to last say berry gazette stretch, the reality check after we check news. He's gamble. "Hey, one percenters Ryan here, and this is the most important podcast I've ever done. That's a bold claim at and I originally was going to sit out like, have my talking points like normally do. But instead I'm just going to riff on this topic because I, I had a breakthrough in my life of about four weeks ago that was the most impactful shift. I have ever had an terms of personal development and in terms of my overall happiness and my success. And I would like to attempt to communicate that shift to you and if I can help if I can help it happen faster for you, I've done a really good thing. So stick with me as I process this. This is a hard shifts trying communicate except via story and to tell you what happened. And as many of you have probably could tell from the last year or so. I have gone through a lot of transitions in the last year right around the time. I sold a majority stake of my primary company. I also went through a separation and I, I really felt like my whole life was upended I, I sold a business which was a huge financial win, but it also sent me into a real exploration of while what's next. And most importantly, I felt like once I sold my company had also given up a lot of my purpose because I had so much meaning and purpose in the company. And I went into a lot of self expiration of like, well, who am I now I who, who, who am I without this when my without a company that I'm scaling and it's. So kind of first world problem to try and talk about the seat of big financial end. And now you don't know who you are anymore. Yes, spoiled millennial, right? And so I always kind of felt weird saying that allowed, but that was that was my experience in so lesson number one, if you think that money solve your problems, it does. It solves a lot of problems, and it also opens up new challenges mostly in terms of development. And I also took a lot of swings and misses in the last year. I hired several people that didn't work out. I tried new projects that didn't go the way that I thought they would. I bought a company that didn't grow by the way I would. I had a company pullback in sales pretty significantly, and I found myself at like kind of a a crisis of identity. If you will love the things that I'm trying are working the way that I thought. They would. I don't feel like this sense of this sense of purpose that I used to feel who there's kind of a new level of, well, what is this all four? And I doubt what that on a really deep level and the all kind of came to a hill south railroad came to a hilt. It came to came to its climax about five weeks ago or so, and like every good story it starts with it happened at burning man, and it did for those of you who aren't familiar burning man is a eighty thousand person week long temporary city in the desert where you come build a temporary city and you take it down at the end of the week, there's no really no cell service or wifi, and everyone there's no food provided and there's no money allowed. And so it what happens is people put down their phones for a week. And they connect, and it's a beautiful experience and difficult experience both physically and emotionally and it. It's a big big adjustment for we can. Then you go back home right when you're starting to adjust. And what happened for me was I went by myself. I did not know anyone who is going to be there. In fact, a lot of individuals that I was that I I was expecting to see didn't go. So I I ended up being by myself for several days at which was a wonderful experience. And what happened at the end of it was, was someone said something to me that stirred something up inside of me where I basically of discovered some really, really deep junk that I did not know is there that once I processed it created a level of freedom and ease around business around my life. And my purpose that I would like to share with you before I go..
