Gunnery Sergeant Jessie Jane Duff on America's First Openly Transgender Four-Star Admiral
"She's none other than gunnery sergeant, UN United States Marine court Jesse Jane Duff, she worked on the Trump campaign co chair of veterans for Trump and also contributed a fellow colleague of mine on newsmax. Gunny, welcome to one on one. Thank you so much. I love your introductions. I get real big headed. Can't get me out of the studio after that. We will always stick to the truth. You are a gummy always a gunny. We've got to talk about what is happening in the last ten months to our services. As you know, the Marine Corps is especially close to my heart. I've worked with all the armed services but I spent two and a half years in Quantico. The latest breaking news item is we find it. I'm sure the Chinese are most impressed. I'm sure Vladimir Putin is quaking in his boots. We have a transgender admiral. Now thank the good lord, it's not in a real armed service. It's not in the coast guard or the navy. It's in the health corps, but put the footage up. This is what's his name Richard Levine, HHS, who has been made a quote unquote admiral in the health corps by the man who sadly bears the title commander in chief and president sleepy creepy Joe Biden. Jesse Jane, this disturbing turn of events, they're not going to keep this just to the health cor are they. Oh, absolutely not. For example, the national defense authorization act right now in Congress got passed. It has to go up to the Senate still. Got passed, though, that taxpayers would pay for transgender surgery. And vote for military members. Military members. So you could join the military. Now, here's something that a lot of people are not aware. The Trump administration did a year study on this under general Mattis, who was very open minded, maybe a little more so than many of us would have liked. For other issues such as women and ground combat, but getting back on this, general Mattis had this studied conducted and they came to find out that transgenders could join the military, but it would be after they've had the hormone treatment, the surgeries. And they were psychologically fit. So they were actually capable of doing the job. And there would be a 5, I believe it would be 5 years within the time that they are surgery. So that you knew that they had fully adjusted. We know that there are record breaking medical concerns among the transgender community for psychological issues, the what is it? What is it called gender dysphoria things to that effect? And I'm no expert on the topic. And I have no issue with the transgender being in the military, but I have a huge issue with the transgender who is using the military to be non
Astrophysicist Hugh Ross Describes When He Learned of 'The Fine-Tuned Argument'
"Program. Welcome to the Eric metaxas show, Hugh Ross, great to see you. Good to see you, too. Thank you. Well, I mentioned in the beginning of the book that it really was you who got me thinking about things, for example, like the fine tuned universe. I had literally never heard about that until about 1990 when I read your book, maybe it was fingerprint of God. I can't remember which book it was. But I was astonished to read this, having never heard about it. And over the decades, I have been quietly amassing more and more evidence as it piles up as science draws us closer and closer to the idea it's obvious and intelligence created the universe there's no way this just happened. When did you in your career first notice these things or become acquainted with the fine tuned argument? It probably goes back to my teenage years. I mean, I started getting serious, but astronomy, when I was 7 years of age and wait a minute. That's no teenager. That's a very early, you're probably the world's youngest teenager, you're smart. You probably achieved teenage dumb at age 7. Okay, so at age 7, what happened in your life to get you thinking about this stuff? Well, I was looking up at the stars and wanted to know why they were hot and my parents said go to the library. And that started me on reading four or 5 books on astronomy and physics per week. And during my teenage years, I actually launched a research study in astronomy with my telescope, looking at newborn stars and different gaseous nebulae. I wound up winning the British Columbia science fair, went on to the Canadian science fair and then I decided, hey, I'm going to continue that. I've been fascinated with astronomy ever since. But I've got struck by the fine tuning, probably beginning at about each 15 is when I realized wow. Now hang on, when you say the British Columbia science fair. How old were you when you won the British Columbia science fair? I was 17.
The Myth of the Clinton Budget Surplus
"Again for regular listeners my podcast this is the kind of thing you're probably gonna be like Gary goes again with the Clinton surplus It's something I used to talk about all the time The Bill Clinton alleged surplus in the budget You remember that For those of you who are alive back then and I was 93 through 2000 You remember the Bill Clinton years And one of the things that left wing media hacks were so proud of in the Clinton years is you remember this one Jim Clinton man he ran a surplus in the budget For the first time we had more money We had more money than we were spending You doubt me for the younger folks who listen to my show I know we do well in that younger demo Thank you to you younglings out there We appreciate your attention I'd like you to just go and put that in a search engine on your phone Put Clinton surplus You can read thousands tens of thousands of articles about the Clinton surplus Proving to you yet again that the media will lie to your face Why Because there is no such thing It doesn't exist Why does this relate to Biden lying to you about the $3.5 trillion bill costing nothing Follow me I promise it'll make sense in you So in order to make this easy I went to a statistics site I didn't go to a partisan site on purpose I went to statista dot com It's a statistics site They don't have a political agenda It is simply statistics taken from the government and everywhere else Everybody got that It's not a right leaning sight so that a left leaning site It is a number site It's a two plus two equals four We don't really care about your opinion site So I want this to teach the dot com Now if you put in a search engine matter of fact liberals go to your favorite one Go to Google which you swear is like some big truth to the communists at Google You swear by it's your golden calf God Just put in there Clinton's surplus and read all the articles about oh my gosh Clinton my gosh this is amazing He had so much money There was a government surplus So I asked you this when I go to statista dot com And I pull up the Clinton presidency years 93 through 2000 right When I pull them up I notice this pattern with the national debt So now simple common sense household math would tell you what folks if you had a debt say you had a $100,000 in debt And every year you ran over with your expenses $10,000 You'd be adding 10,000 to the debt Bad for getting interest for a moment just in simple numbers that in ten years you'd have 200,000 in debt I know liberals let me do the math slow That's 10,000 plus 10,000 plus 10,000 on ten times okay So you'd add you would then add a $100,000 more in debt right Everybody getting that the liberals I know we gotta do this slow I'm very sorry You had a 100,000 you added 10,000 a year for ten years You have 200,000 a day That's how that works Forget interest for a second Okay I got to keep this simple There are Democrats listening So in the Clinton years if he was running a surplus every single year and whenever ran a deficit but was running a government surplus then how is it that these numbers never go down and only

That few people seem to remember is actually not a scenario but the strawberry milk they would serve a mile elementary school picture. This it's too early in the morning during school cafeteria at plastic table with a bunch of other eight-year-olds. You're tired and confused cozier kit. And it's morning but you're not grumpy because you get to open up the little plastic bowl of ice krispies than poor on just the most unnaturally pink milky percy. It tastes like candy and happiness and get soggy like five minutes but by then you beaten it all anyway and of course the best part drinking the milk to start your day quite like that bo so special strawberry milk. Thank you so much damning. Justin for your wonderful podcast. Hello dana justin. This is hayley from california. She her pronounce a cereal that nobody seems to talk about or remember for me personally. Is cautious mighty bites. The reason why i still remember. Haley's answer. No that as a kid. I would have you know. Set them up in a diorama to play with the digital toys. Or whatever else. I had michael classic serials. It's i mean you you hear over and over from the different organizations that that's you get them away from it and it's a whole different thing. It's it's a wonderful thing to see. My mouth is full of the ham and cheese sandwich. Please continue our own show. Yeah it's even on this trip lincoln. I had great time just sitting there bullshit about different stuff that i mean. Yeah we sit there and do it all all winter long sitting in the same office but it's different every time with each experience we had a long trip right. that's why it's kinda. Keep it down to like. I said that half hour to hour that we plan ric will that stretched into four because catching up getting meet each other learning a little bit about each other and a lot of stories that we'd all already heard through the radio. I don't need a little different when you're sitting face to face. I don't think you guys really planned on being at my house as long as you worry very. We wanted to be there longer. But the thing on saturday and this place on our longer than we were planning but not like the four hours. And i mean you know you you talk about one thing and that will spur another thing and somebody else said and then you get to talking about that. And then somebody else will get something spurred in their memory bank and then you'll talk about that and then you'll laugh about this and then you'll get on a serious topic and then you'll go back to la like i know we preach camaraderie but it's the truth. I mean and every half hour somebody saying we need to get going and then something gets brought up and two hours later. You're still sitting here. We really really need to get going now. Yeah i mean even after some of our shows will be talking and yeah i'll let you go and then one of us will say something and then we'll talk for another hour and it's like yeah. Well i'm get off here and what you remember that time and then we'll talk about that for another fun hour and before you know it it's fucking four or five o'clock in a goddamn morning on the east coast. I can't tell you how many times that's happened with me. And chris will start talking about some flag in end up saying well. I'll let you go. Well let me go piss. I got one more thing to say. Excuse me and then that personal it was like all right. This is what i was gonna say and then that will spur another whole topic fucking discussion. And that's another two hours. It's like where does it in instill eating my ham and cheese sandwich by the way google get on tonight. There was on the horse. She's waiting on the mini me to get home to help with the horse. Jada get your ass home. Stop breaking the law. All the the jada stripes going up the hill we turn on. The last leg ended up to the farm thursdays. Black you know. How'd you guys like Kelly's was is it everything that sick says it is and more. I think he plays into a little bit but no it was. It was good. Who's good. it's not. Oh my god i gotta drive an hour and a half away from home to get it. No etched omega. He told me one time he was like if i could get you. Some kelly's beef brash. I would send it to you tomorrow. As like they do have a thing called dry ice six. Say both yeah definitely not same so we get the sandwich should bring on the plane with us but it was like ninety eight degrees and eighty five percent humidity. Yeah that's not gonna make it to the plane you would have been used to that roast beef there right bo. Just when google said to after up up up up up. I'm digging last by salads. Give me a goddamn. And i don't have her on there otherwise i'd invite. I'm going to invite her just for shits and giggles spend two minutes so i'm going to say it's will be my excuse. Hey dave got in news or updates about anything. You will everybody. Oh god she entered. Holy shit maybe well zoom. What's joined being bong know. You said it said two minutes. So frosty was like invite her. If i had i was i'm about ready to and he's like it's been minute and then said join and like if zoom ever lets her in right. I was like this is taking forever. So ashes in the barn in a stall. Jade is out there with him. Because he's still kinda going an. I am thoroughly soaked please. It's raining here for three days. And he insisted on being out in a wet field. So i had to stay out there with him to make sure that he didn't like hurt himself and stuff because these fucking people insisted. It was a good idea to set off fireworks tonight. I'm like i was prepared for this tomorrow. It let me interrupt your horrible night with ash. Dave said that they will be going salmon fishing in the sand. John's the second saturday of september. So be on the lookout for that. With warriors service own their social media. Hey we're not working with you anymore. And then he tried to be like. Oh sucks your piece. And i was like for what for you. Selling merchandise without our blessing under our name like seriously got when we told you to wait until we spoke to our lawyers because the image was literally an exact replica of another companies No guy that's not how this works so we'll be playing rec fast. That i thing that's all will be playing. I'll look me for to get together and see if there's anything else that s three to gather that can be multi player That either is not a big download or we already have. And we'll look into plan some mounts. We're not gonna play all night. I can say that because we'll probably be like fucking drained and exhausted after this year because that's how it usually goes for me doubt we'll play division 'cause the update for division anymore. I think it's like a six gig. Update dude yeah. It's it's a huge. I don't watch and updated that something. Dude i can't stay going back to the white house or the capitol building and the fucking lights blinking red. I can't stand that just sticks to know how long it takes to fix the goddamn out. No i was going to say. It's probably been six eight months since i've played that one. So my games all fucked a think. The last time we played the day that jack's came over is the last day that i played. And then i was just looking to see what kinda shit that i could download. That was for free. Because i'm a freebie instead a word free hollick sure okay. There's now it will say it is coming the next couple weeks freeloader. I definitely am The next couple of weeks Content might be slow coming out. Because i will be setting up my new computer. Hopefully if all turns out well it's only been how many months thirty three threes age four and a half months so yeah so then four and a half months. Since i've been waiting to fucking bitch up woke up both because there's a lot of shit that goes into just setting something up for me. The way i live Let's see oh the entire quote unquote rocket line is available at the. Dd radio store. Do you want to you guys or you guys wanna take over for like the next five and a half minutes so i can meet out. Thanks guys lunches and a half minutes of silence tribute ship. So what's one of the most memorable things that you can remember on this little weeklong trip besides sixes driving Cal mrs p double over when she saw us through that moment of the trip yup that that was definitely look of surprise. If anything right there. I'm by with game. I mean it was worth like. I said well worth gal just spending time with nevermore in jj dogs and everything else you know if something that we. I think we needed something they even needed. It was definitely worth the trip. Oh definitely getting to meet everybody. That was i mean you've met part of them for a four but it was getting to meet everybody kind of do the face to face that we hadn't been able to do even with the guy that couldn't be here tonight or two said he was going to be here and decided to bail dogs nuts. Meeting recoil in our our half hour to an hour layover turn into four turned into four. Yeah no kidding right. We gotta stay on schedule. Get farm in a reasonable time and then four hours later really shitty better go see the other one was That same little road trip getting out of the car and trying to be as quiet as we could and starting the car alarm off at three o'clock in the morning yeah. Yeah fuck as messier's shit all trips memorable just each little point has its own little thing in it now most definitely i wish i could have got back out back. Forty like simply because of the who hips and everything else but we actually have the another veteran that needed help and that was so we were jumping through hoops trying to find resources and whatnot. Bode was in as well so watching everybody kinda pool our resources and trying to help these vets out and that was that was fun to see good to see us all in work together every moment damn should never a moment and hearing the plans for the foreign both from google point of view and six point of view. Got to make things interesting. They don't don't quite mash but they're pretty darn close to what you get when a husband wife team just different ways to do it. How it order out needs to be done now did not sign the shooting range out there snack food. They have that thing a long with that missile silo. That's a Rattle no but yeah. There's no shooting range that i see anyway. I mean you can make one. There's there's plenty of room telomere all. Oh definitely back where we're six took me almost to the back forty. I mean we got a little ways down there but it's with everything that's been going on. He hasn't been able to get all the the kind of back road cleared far enough so or this spring. And it's really gotten overgrown. They got some neat ideas for some of the areas. Back there that i could see happening. Just a matter of them taking the.

"That is outpatient. Like i am. So i wanna say mystified because it's an overused word but for lack of better terminology on mystified at how far advanced. We've come and twenty thirty years just an actual recuperative surgeries that. Actually help or or medicine. In general you know what i mean. I mean robotics obviously fleas a huge partner to you know. So there's there's definitely simplisafe out there to it ya'll at the current knowledge of the nervous system versus what twenty thirty years ago was. Yeah and someone brought up a good point They wouldn't trust outpatient back surgery and his depending on the type about patient back surgery. That i'm having or any type of outpatient surgery. Four years ago you can get a colonoscopy as an outpatient the surgery there was impossible in the last i think twenty years it is purely outpatient and for good reason. An out patient but definitely. There's some that i would trust. And there's some that. I wouldn't just like medicines on the market today. Everybody tally how great humira was. The shit almost killed me every two weeks for six months and it's been around since two thousand and it's been through clinical testing andraos but yet i'm supposed to trust any medicine on the market. No not happening. There's things i trust. And there's things i don't i mean i i think Leading media or or the crowd per se Influence your decision at this point and technology is honestly the worst thing. You could possibly do my suggestion as a person who has had to live through medicines. Nearly killing me resurgence. That probably would kill me. Do your research. that's all. I'm saying like going tall. To fucking people shit was boone cutler that went to another country and had the stem cell surgery. It was wasn't it was yes you know somewhere might have been. I think he talked on Was it service dog show. Jj about that. I think he did a little bit there and there was something else that he did that. I was listening to where he talked about it. Yeah did you guys don't know. Boom caller is a really good friend of mine and jj's dvd's overall dv six recoils. He got into a really bad predicament. A few years ago on he was basically dying And the only thing that would possibly save him with stem cell research and he does his research cliche intended He done his research on stem cells and he ended up going and getting this Stem cell. i don't. I don't know if it's classified as a surgery or not. He had this done and it saved his life. Excuse me and you know. In most countries themselves research is a big big big big no no for krones and gastro into a gastro disease patients like myself and My best friend who's got crohn's well. There is a new study and you guys are going to be like e. That's nasty but it's a it's actually working for a lot of these people has been happening for the past few years They take Gut in colon stems stem cells and put them into someone like me and it reverses the process of crohn's and all sorts of glides. Now does that mean you are carrying that no You're reversing the process. As far as the new bullshit has occurred and a lot of times in a thank. I wanna say forty five percent of the patients that's add it. It has actually got to where they do not have to take any type medications. What so ever I don't wanna say they're calling it fecal stems but i think that's like the terminology. They're using right now But it's basically taking your gut stem cells replacing the bad stem cells in a patient. Like knee with the fecal stem cells. Waiting a little moment and seeing what the outcome is and outcomes has been good so far the majority of patients like when i say majority ninety percent which is really hound. The totem pole talking stem cell research. And lot of. You're like oh my god. That's so disgusting bitch. If your shit is going to save my life. I think i would fucking consider And i've always been you know like my friend just said meds or suspectful. I'm the same way You guys know. I can't go off of bread and his own ever. I cannot go off with predators zone for the rest of my life. I have to keep an amount of apprentice on my body for the rest of my life. Now because i've been on it so long in my drink glands we'll be like fuck ibo shutting down goodbye life and there's other medicines that you can take indefinitely and then stop.

"To finish our conversation with blair and corey. Okay so i love y'all describing where force feel secure. Because i think for a lot of us fours are so mysterious. It's hard to know where you feel secure and it's hard to know if we're helpful in that the rest of us so you're saying if if you're confident if the environment your end makes you feel like you're trusted that and i think like for me something that happened recently at a friend's birthday dinner and i was like talking about you know like there's nothing i want to wake up for at five o'clock in the morning. Sure and she. You know if even if i was going to like tell you everything about me and my deepest darkest things and connect with you and tell you all about what's going on on like well. That would be hard not to wake up for. But i don't know so it's like she knew she knew me and she still loves me and they are and one of my best friends so when i know about both of y'all as you are so deeply loved by your friend groups i mean both of you. I know both your fragrance. They so deeply love you and treasure you don't you don't live in our town anymore and you're still a vital part of a group you know so. I think i'm glad to hear that. That's a place where you feel secure. Yeah i mean it. Just i think being able to open up and express and to feel comfortable enough to do that and then receive it vacuum. Even you saying that it's just like it brings a lot of like feeling up inside of me. It's just like okay. You guys you get me you know. Yeah so when you're stressed you go toward a to you get extra help four. So listen to yeah. We're going to that. Here's what happens now. Remember a stress number bad number. This actually serves you actually having a place to go. Haley watkins at our first show where she described. The whole thing. Said if you're falling down a tree of four nece the two is the branch you grab onto and you explained that you said when you're spiraling out this is what helps you pull out of.

"And then hear your thoughts on it so where to force go when they are secure. Well thank god. When they're secure they go to one otherwise there would be no music. That comes out of nashville. Sure right they have to have just finishing. Yeah yeah exactly. They would just have all those songs in their heads and they'd be thinking about another way to fix one word but going to one means that they do what's there is to do and that's how we get art and the music and the poetry dance and and all of the other ways you know. There are four mamas who use all that kind of creativity and raising their children and therefore dads who use all that creativity in coaching a team. That may not be i but every kid will have a good experience and without that one element. I'm not sure what would cross the line from thinking about doing doing. That's force are doing repressed. In that means they do interests them but they have to have done some good work in her work to do what is there to do. What do you think use how you do what what.

I give you what you want and want to show up authentically you being. Here's what i want you as you showed up. That was everything i needed. So you're just you is all i want blair forced to pick from near the four. I wanted well. Thank you same to you. Corey y'all are both our first asks so i'm very thankful y'all said yes. We just established that. We're all three onsite graduates. Do you ever graduate from onsite though. The graduate for mental health is a continual process. You always want to go back. How long ago did you go. Blair i went. It'll be two years in june okay. I'm january of eighteen. Yes january eighteen. What are you not last july but the july before that drive nineteen yes so we all went kind of in the same little way when you were there as people who identifies any agreement fours. Were you able to jump right into the work. Was it frustrating. The people in your group. That weren't doing that or did you. Hold back a little bit for gore. I think probably hold back in a way and jump. Find it in another way. I think that's kind of where. I started to figure out my number a little bit better win and thinking oh is a to Came out feeling. Like i was a four and that back and forth of a two and four has continued but i think that's where i really started to think i'm a four. Not how did tell me about your experience in counseling like that as the day before. So i wouldn't and was to slake okay and then feeling very similar to fill right now of like okay. How much of myself am i going to present to the world. And how much am i gonna show up as my best self and actually dive into what this whole thing really is and it was terrifying but i think it would in with a lot of like cerebral like reading the room. I i go. I'm for wing five. So i feel i and then i think second and so i was thinking just about things and feeling things like tremendously and i think i just sat back for a little bit and took it all in and then started to kind of dive in and then everything started to pour out or unravel and come together at the same time. Mughal introduce yourself blair. Will you start. You can tell us as much as you want first name. Mary kids job. Just kinda tell us a little bit about who you are okay. i'm layer originally from baton rouge louisiana. I have lived in nashville for eight years. A have you been here so much longer than that blair. Oh that's yes. Oh my god. I moved here for my husband to do medical training and we. I told him. I really didn't want to leave. So we are here. And i did event planning as an internship in college and then after college in dc took a break to have children during my husband's medical training and then Have a business now. Doing event planning which is really fun. You planned my fortieth birthday party. And it is one of the most sacred beautiful experiences of a whole life. That makes me so happy. I like i haven't even talked about it publicly or pictures publicly because it was so deeply personally me and so profoundly me even in the decor and the cups and everything you did and so you have some awesome friends. I do so i will. I will thank you for a long time for that party that day that all day. Corey who are you. My name is cory I'm a college soccer coach At a division one university In the women's side which is full of all sorts of interesting things and i live in cookeville tennessee. I actually lived in nashville for a while. That's how i know any So we have a a friend circle. That goes way way back. And you're engaged and just recently engaged. Yeah so while getting married soon yes soon. Yeah yeah exciting. I like a lot wonderful. So that's also a nervous and exciting at the same time so quite. How did you figure out how do you. Let's talk a little bit of honor any grim journey. How do you like the graham. How did you most identify with the four. How did you get here. Yeah i mean that is like it's a continual thing. I i started with integrated institute just starting off. Kind of you know would feel like most people do is they just go through and then they re the types and they kind of go through and i think i was like this. I think i'm that. I think i'm a nine. I think Mistakes and then kind of circle back. And then i actually booked a Kind of Not an interview but process with coach for a packet in kinda of got into it and helped narrow it a little bit there. Yeah i think we kinda got closer to four. And then i think as i was reading my parents and they're like oh something jumping off the page here. I was like. I think i'm not quite sure yet. And then podcasts helped tremendously. I don't know. I want to plug another podcast. But just in crohn's typology listen to that and i was listening to other people talking. I think hearing someone else speak about it actually is one of the best ways to kind of navigate that kinda whole murky water and i think for me You know when. I look back though like when i was in eighth grade. I was voted most unique in in school like okay. Well yeah that makes a little more sense now. And i think just style and things of that nature helped kind of defined for me. But yeah yeah. What about you blair. Was it on really. It was onsite. But before that i started listening to the road back to you and listen to all the numbers and the i listened to friends a lot like feedback and what they How they see me..

"Want to talk to him but i don't think they really believe that he's going anywhere. I just think you know it's like if the most attractive person high school a single. Shoot your shot right. But i think the danger here for carolina is i think people are gonna look at it like if you don't take care of this guy who are you gonna take care world. Here's my question about it. And yeah like here's a guy that just wants to be in carolina period. Is it essentially for rod brindamour. And by the way right. Now elliott. correct me. If i'm wrong is pumping gas. That's true as he does this. Podcast i can hear the beeps going off in the background is it carolina bust rod brind'amour's. Everybody believes that that's what he wants. I don't know. I don't know like every day that goes by until we get an answer we don't know but it's weird like it's jeff by everybody's wondering just wait there waiting for the final announcement clarity and you know what i think like. This hasn't been nailed down yet. When do you see happening with team in the off season. There's a dougie hamilton situation. There's a goaltending situation. There is a hey look. We now have cap space situation. What happens carolina like. I don't think he's gonna change a lot. They're a team. That has made a lot of really shrewd moves. A lot of their gambles that they've made have been very good. They're not a hockey organization. They do a lot of things you know. I think another story here. That's going to be interesting. Is going to be spectacle. No we've talked about is. Negotiations turned down a long term deal. You know. I think he cares a lot. I do think he's a very big part of their team. I think ownership has a loyalty to him. He was their top pick and they really like him a lot internally. So i think weird that goal. I don't expect dougie hamilton to be the bidding for him is going to be very interesting. Like i think there's gonna be a ton of interest in him. Is that going to be a alex. Portraying gelo type bidding. It could be yeah tape interest. you know. He's a big strong score. I don't know if he's gonna quite get that number you might. He's going to up there. You know especially costs needs. What's that he needs. A mark berge avai-. Why do you say that he needs an offer. Sheet avenue needs to get that deal done. I gotta tell you something. I'm very curious to see what the offer sheet. Numbers are going to be this year. Because they're going to be low. Yes they will. Okay from carolina to boston bruins around balanced by the islanders questions about players. Like to ask david krejci taylor hall. Where do we go with the boston. Bruins now and is all of it revolve around what happens with the goaltender. I think it's more than just the goaltending. So what do we know about to harass. We know that he wants to be a bruin or nothing else. We know that he needs surgery. And he's gonna be out until sometime in the middle of next season so maybe they have to go out and get another goalie too. But i think that thing with with rascasse. I only judge other people how i judge myself and i tried to put myself into other people's shoes and think what are they thinking. First of all we all know the guys compete in the playoffs. When they're hurt and sometimes really badly hurt but part of me wondered of rask look at all the criticism he took last year for doing what any father would have died going home to be with his family in a very tough situation where his daughter was really battling things and said you know what i left last year. I can't leave my team this year. I got a play. I mean all you had to do is watch the games to see. He was really battling it. And i have no doubt that part of a mess thinking. I have to stand up for my teammates. I left last year. And i'm not doing it again this year because i know that in that situation i would probably be thinking that like one of the reasons. Shy flea is so upset is because he gets injured. Last unit gets suspended this year and he can't be with his teammates when they've lost twice. Whether you agree or disagree that is the way he feels. And so i wondered if rask going through some of the same things but now at least we have a clear opinion or idea on rask. We know what he's thinking so that to me is always the big question about the bruins is. Who's coming back. You know bergereon. He has said that he's a year to year guy now and i know he's got another year left on his contract but i always wonder. Is this the summer where he says. It's time my body's just been through too much now. He got through this year. Healthy and okay. So i think that's a good sign that he's back but you always wonder with him. Is he the kind of guy who just says you know what. I reached a point where my body can't handle it anymore and it's just time now doesn't sound like that's the case but whenever i'm dealing with boston i always think about that. These guys who've been through a lot. They've done a lot together. Their bodies have been through a lot. And i really felt it last year that they knew especially with chara that he may not be coming back and he didn't so i wonder do they sit there amongst each other and say who's coming back and who's not and it sounds like they all wanna come back which is a good sign but until you through a few weeks in the offseason you never know..

"We've been negative dances this whole task. I want to talk about some fun things. The padres is actually pretty cool. The visual effects for me to the pod racing actually pretty cool. None of them are real like they didn't take mitch pods and race them around. It's all computer did you digital. But it was pretty cool in the attach. It wasn't so long. I agree with you. They watched it nights ago. And like how many times running the circuit like how much through twists and turns early and metaphorically can you race The the the you heard the dual the face of the very beginning. The fight between obi wan quite unginned and darth maul is probably one of the most bad ass. Excuse my language. fights out there in As darth maul has a has a double lightsaber. And he's taken on two of them and he goes so far as to kill quite gin. And it's so elaborate but it's so cool and it's exactly what you want. So i can't i have to say that. They did their job with that fight scene. Because that's one of the best fights in old star wars. I was actually pretty impressed. Watching them move on screen and some shots at only one and darth maul. Wow this isn't like a bunch of cuts like are actually moving and it's quite well the other so in attack the clones the own makeup part to me is when all of a sudden. "Great question no. Because i got one. Scholarship offer to play football at howard which was absolutely amazing added. Great five years of how. I red shirt my first year. I was a four year starter at tackle and left tackle throughout my career at hauer on the first and only offers of lima drafted from howard. And i had to go through a lot to get there. I went to the hula bowl. Played against guys from all over the all across the country. texas wise miami alabama. Yo you name it. and back. In those days miami. Texas stanford. Ucla like the sec was not as big as today. It was more Acc impact impact ten at the time with big leagues in my time it also big twelve texas oklahoma and all that kind of good stuff and interestingly enough when i got to the nfl it wasn't about well. Compare me to job like okay. Well marcus now that you're here. We don't keep roster spots for brothers of great football players. Really don't do that like this is not in our car so we keep roster spots people to deserve you on the field. And that's what i had to learn. And i always looked at it like that and i always saw myself as that and because that right Because right neil. That's why i work. As hard as i did to have the job that i did in the national football because really you can't i. I mean i've heard it said i don't know i've never obviously played in the nfl. That'd be awesome. But i think i would get killed. Because i'm not a i'm a. I'm a tiny guy right. The world my friend. I imagine it is. But i imagine with that comes fame in some respects. "Description. The job is going for us is to open up holes for the running back. Keith defensive line lot backers or safeties defenders off the quarterback and maintain the line of scrimmage. We need to push to defensive. Lineman if we're running the football on the other side on their side of the of the line of scrimmage and impasse protests me to keep them in front of us and not let them get around us or by us to get to the quarterback to hit to cause of sack fresher. Hit fumbled. hurry gotcha. So how does someone in in your mind as an offensive lineman. How would you define yourself as successful. Were you successful as alignment in in doing those season two was you wouldn't be if you're not successful in doing that as officers liming you wouldn't have a job for law because the nfl is four of the best of the best people in players that want to get into other players shoes. You're not the best. Some will fill your shoes without a doubt. Yeah i really love that aspect of it and let me tell you for those that. Don't follow football. And he's like listen. It's the unsung. It's like the guy that doesn't get any praise doesn't it's the it's the thankless job. You're the servant to the team. Essentially you're serving the team as a servant like you don't get headlines you don't get your name in the paper if anything. You're the guy that they blame when everything all falls apart..

"And and so. I think that perspective most players that I've been around their career Iran's three years before they think it's going to end and so usually when it's time for it to be over your surprised by that's how it is for ninety. Nine percent sounded the guys and so a perspective of someone who's kind of been on both sides of it. I think is important make sense. Did you the report. The packers forty niners squirrel I in the NFC amazing considering considering both teams have losing records last year in the AFC. The Titans and chief will battle it out with these super bowl trip up for grabs. The final overreaction on this Monday the packers and the forty niners the forty. niners going to Miami Victor. This is an overreaction guys mainly Eh picking the go pack go into Rogers is shown me that he can get he can just get it done. He can flat out get it done on and the reason he can get it done as because devante. I think the way he gets the ball to him. I think the chemistry that they both have and listen. I can speak to a little chemistry between a quarterback and receiver. I've been there many. And when you when you're on the same page with your quarterback like they are you feel like you are untouchable. You go through these practices you understand exactly how you WANNA WANNA attack this team. And I think they're doing that as we speak. And I think when you have that level of confidence between your quarterback and you're wide receiver only good things come from that and the niners are going to have their hands full trying to guard Devante Atas because he's a spectacular town. If it does happen. Aaron Rodgers will go nine years between starts in the super bowl largest gap ever by starting quarterback. which would break the record previously held by John Elway when eight years between his superbowl starts to the super spotted? Say but that. That that overreaction or no okay okay the only thing I agree with field. It's not I'm no reaction and it would be the longest right like I think the issue is. I don't think the packers can block the the forty niners I just. I don't think they can the banged up at tackle. The last time they played them they couldn't block them. Aaron Rodgers as we scored eight points. They really struggled offensively and I think when we look at the niners now I think they're better now than they were last time. They played on the defensive side of the ball. So thirty seven. Nobody surely that offense one hundred like yeah it was. It was really bad. You have to think they're playing better as well. Though that that that Green Bay offense a little bit I in Aaron Rodgers can create offense and volunteer Adams great but if you just get dominated friends friends who we saw weekend it team that dominated the other team front. They won the game. Look look at the. Vikings Viking seemed to run the football a A. Rod as he's not going to be a sitting duck in that pocket. He's going to be moving around. He's not going to be an easy guy. Just come and sit back there seven yards in being attacked by Joey. Bosa thank you for that information new. NFL live from our Texans reporters. Sarah Barshop Bill. O'Brien hasn't met with owner Kalmyk near but when asked whether Texans will hire a GM he said the way. I see it right now. It stays the way it is here are sounds of the weekend.

"Ahead on NFL live. Kansas City bounces back from a twenty four point deficit. They hang fifty one on the Texans to move onto the AFC championship Egypt. Game Lamar Jackson the MVP front runner but the ravens come up short against the titans. What does the future hold in Baltimore and tonight we crowd a new national champion getting college? Football Mel Kiper ear. He'll break down the name. Joe Soon. See laying on Sundays. Hello everybody off. We had a great weekend. Glad to have you with us on this Monday. Tim Hasselbeck Victor Cruz field. Yates I'm Wendy next. Mike Tannenbaum will join us in just a bit well and then there were four. We've got the forty niners. Niners the packers on the NFC side of things in the opposite equation the Titans and Chiefs Round Delta AFC company launched one of the greatest comebacks in postseason history. Three still doesn't top the bills. Thirty two point. Come back in the ninety two wildcard round though which was fueled by Frank Reich four touchdowns and remember Andy Reid read and the chiefs were on the end of twenty eight point comeback. That was the two thousand thirteen wildcard game. This was after Andrew Luck brought brought back his colt passing with nearly four hundred and fifty passing yards in super bowl fifty one we all remember. Tom Brady leading his team to an overtime win. This is after they were trailing to the Falcons by as many as twenty five and then we have the chiefs just behind that they climbed back from that twenty four point deficit yesterday to score fifty one points points. In the first quarter of homes completed just four passes the same number of drops. His receiver said he passed for two hundred. Seventy eight yards five touchdowns to rest of the away only Doug Williams and eighty seven never passed for four touchdowns in a quarter of a playoff game before mahomes did just that on Sunday overreaction and Monday this chiefs team this particular team is Andy. Reed's best chance at a super bowl win to date Tim. Is that an overreaction. Yeah that's an overreaction. I think I'm guilty of it. I think we all kind of are guilty of it. We focus so much on offense. We focus so much on the quarterback. Patrick mahomes better than Don mcnabb was not to take anything away from Donovan. 'cause he was a tremendous player in an amazing career. But we focus so much on the quarterback I think we are not paying paying enough attention to what the defense was like in Philadelphia. They just scored fifty one so they may win a super bowl by outscoring people. We go go back to those Philadelphia teams. Brian Dawkins at tasty. You had joy Vinson Bobby Taylor at corner. You had Douglas the Defensive End Corey Simon Inside Dunnes at linebacker like that was a really defensive led team or teams. Oh you know multiple years. They're still really good on offense as well when you think about some of the guys they had on that side of the ball so I actually think those teams were maybe better but this is still a really good opportunity going over-reaction as well for exactly what you say does Philadelphia Eagle Teams. I remember growing up watching those teams and being like wow. This team is loaded defensively offensively. Donovan mcnabb I think those teams the way they were built were just if you put those teams up against this chiefs team from top to bottom. I think you'll find more playmakers on the eagles side of the ball. Then you will on the Kansas City side and I think that's a deciding factor for me. Not An overreaction for me and I'm not just trying to be a person who yeah no I will live with that if such as the case but a couple of factors here to begin with they do host the championship game. Now that's important. You play a team and the titans at has been remarkable and I'm sure we'll talk about them plenty throughout today's show back to back to back Games winning on roads certainly very difficult but and tim is right and Victor Agree with him. I agree with their assessment that they may have been more balanced versions of the eagles. But I'm just not sure matters when your quarterback is transcendent and I think that we have the propensity sensitive for crowning quarterbacks far too soon and perhaps we got a little bit ahead of ourselves this year specifically with Lamar Jackson. But I think Patrick mahomes three seasons into his career now two the full seasons as the starter is doing things that are just. There isn't a defense for the right. Now and look at the Ponce could play. They're going to have to be to win the Super Bowl. Certainly we know the titans are one of them. I don't know how you can contain this offense enough. I think it's Andy Reed's Best Jazz Super Bowl win. I think he would certainly right as legacy with just one Lombardi read his legacy. I hope we can put the graphic up that we had of the trips. That Andy has had Because when you if we can pop opt-out graphic up again when you look at the run Philadelphia like I hope people remember what it's like. I mean he got fired and Philadelphia but like usually one oh two ooh three or four. NFC Champ should his child your you know the rams it was the greatest show on turf thieves dealing with the buccaneers. They they went on to win it that was they were hosted at the vet. The Panthers obviously had to you did and you know you're talking about you know that's Michael Vick era so like but that run. They're just people understand like how good the team was as you. Don't rip off that type of success doing that for that stretch of time if if if your team kind of all the way around offensive. John Played a defensive line. Plays secondary those those teams were loaded age. We can agree that he's one of the better coaches to win a super bowl one in five on championship Sunday. But when you see that list I mean he's been there often. I understand. You're often judged historically by the ones you win. But he's certainly gotten great teams. He's there and he's got another chance whether it be his best or not another opportunity on Sunday. Let's talk about the Texans for just a minute. One pivotal moment in their loss off to the chiefs to second quarter bill. O'Brien dialed up the fake punt fourth and four from their own thirty three. The chiefs sniffed it out. Didn't work three plays later. My score a touchdown. Here's Bill O'Brien on that decision. Filled Life punit too many times today. You know we felt like the we had to try to manufacture some points manufacturers from yards and just didn't work out you know just some we decided to do but Play didn't work. There's no no doubt I mean you might have but there's no doubt I love that man. I'm GonNa play hard for them and then y'all can say whatever I WANNA say. You know through all the media the end of the writing but as long as I'm quarterback he's cool with me again on overreaction Monday. I'll say this. The Texans need to move on from Bill O'Brien Victor. Is that an overreaction. I think it is I think. It is an overreaction. I think when you look at the show I'm watching this maturation process. I think a lot of. That's a credit to bill. O'Brien and the way. He's put that team together the way he's given to Shawn Watson Kinda the the wherewithal to do those things and to be himself and to put plays and put him in positions to be himself. Oh I think that the Shawn Watson we see right now today yes I know. There's a couple of plays that make you scratch your head like the fake punt and like not going for on one of those four downs. Where you feel like does does Shawn Watson should've went over and said Hey let's go for this? Let's get some of that momentum. Let's let's take some of that momentum back from the Kansas City chiefs which once they scored that that first touchdown after being down twenty four zero it almost like it almost felt like the momentum was stripped away from the Houston Texans and to Charlotte. Watson's should have said something to kind of get that back in his favor to his head coach that they that they have such a great rapport with But I don't think it's enough to say we need to run bill. O'Brien out of town. I think they need to continue to burst onto Shawn Watson success and kind of take a year in year two. You agree or disagree I agree. It's an overreaction and I think it's fair to point out some of the decision making that did not go well yesterday the fake punt. We just looked at on video. And there've been some others and it's fair to criticise decision-making for Bill O'Brien. I think it's also fair. The note this that Bill. O'Brien behind the microphone. Publicly has an edge to them right. He's not this super amicable fund loving the kind of guy that the public wins you over in the Court of public opinion. I think that does impact the way that we view coaches in the NFL sports. He's been the head coach for seven years now at least nine games and six of those seven seasons and I'm not trying to be simplistic is Windsor. The only thing that matters but typically that's when I sure do you and they have consistently competed for the division title. I understand they have not made as deep of a playoff run as you would hope they would have made because of their previous blue chip talent on defense offense and now they're young quarterback into Shawn Watson but I think I'd rather ride this out and keep seeing it through for a guy that's really respected within within. NFL circles and the a quarterback went to the mat for me yesterday. I mean Sean. Put His stamp of approval on Bill. O'Brien yesterday and I didn't get the sense in listening to that. That was simply what else. What else am I going to say? Fire The guy right because I felt like that was a more impactful meaning from Shawn Watson the fields point et really good surgeon with a bad bedside manner. It's still a really good. They do so. I think that field alluded to how he's respected in. NFL circles people think he's a good coach. And I think that some of the stuff that he's done in his time in Houston when you think about some of the quarterback situations that he had to deal with prior to getting to Shawn Watson what they've they've done and I think the trajectory that they are on with Sean. I hated the fake punt decision with that being said that's not enough to rip up what they have started to build with him. And so for that reason. I think it would be an overreaction. What are we saying if we wake up today? And they didn't squander great to get a twenty four point lead right then he's going to be different conversation. One that's to point out though is that there are people that still wonder if the alignment in. The Front office is constructed to that. But that hasn't helped tim coach any better. It might be worth them considering being bringing in just hiring a general manager they don't want it again in Texas. Don't have general managers. That's where they stand right now. People will tell you that when you deal with the Texans in trade negotiations etcetera that bill. Bill O'Brien prominently involved which he is but it might help him to have a little bit lesser load on the Personnel Front L.. And one score games this season. The packers are now nine in one including the playoffs. Those nine wins set a new single season franchise record and they're only lost. A one score came came. This season came all the way back in week. Four against the eagles when Aaron Rodgers was picked off on a potential game winning drive. So it's gone pretty well. Aaron Rodgers has exceeded expectations. This season. Victor is that an overreaction. I don't think it is. I think I'm going to go with not an overreaction. I just think that when you came into the League when you came into the season this year are you thinking about matlock floor and you think about how that relationship between him and Aaron Rodgers was going to pan out obviously being so close in age and just figuring out how. Wow this offense was gonna work you kind of have some question marks right especially at receiver though Jordy Nelson. Isn't there anymore. Guys like Randall Cobb Greg Jennings all these different pass catchers Thursday. They had that you kind of go into these games like okay. Yeah Amerada is going to go for three hundred we already know you can just sign it up for three hundred every time you lined up but not this time around not this season so yeah had some question marks going in and he continued to exceed those and obviously he hasn't played his best football this year. We're used to seeing air rogers being being able to throw for three fifty at a at.
