So Many Alerts (MM #3894)

"The NASA minute. With Kevin mason I know I've talked about amber alerts before, and they're very important and very beneficial at times. But I found because we live in Tennessee and we have multiple interstates running through Nashville. It's almost like you lose track of these amber alerts because they're going off all the time. Here in Nashville, we've got three major interstates, north and south, you got interstate 65, northwest to southeast interstate 24, and then from west to east or east to west interstate 40. And that means a lot of drug trafficking, a lot of people trafficking and a lot of amber alerts. We'll get amber alerts maybe three or four times a week about things that are going on just north of the border in Kentucky, somewhere over in severe Bill or in Knoxville, or Chattanooga over on the east side of the state, and you can't keep track. You want to believe amber alerts are good things, but I'm afraid that if you get too many in one week, you just lose track of them. The potential for the system is great, but I think they've got to try something different or fix something to make it that much better. Because I'll be honest with you every time an amber alert goes off, I tend to tune out now because I just heard one. Sometimes hours earlier.

Why Do We Need to Be Vaccinating Children?

Why Do We Need to Be Vaccinating Children?

"Why do we need to be vaccinating children? Our children at a considerable risk of dying from the Fauci virus. Our children at a considerable risk, absent other daily activities, from dying from the virus. The CDC's own data, which has been published, shows that children one to four year olds per 100,000 deaths the most common death is drowning. At 2.8 per 100,000. Then vehicle accidents at 2.3 per 100,000. Homicide, 2.2 per 100,000. Cancer, two per 100,000. Cardiovascular disease, one death per 100,000. Flu and pneumonia, .8 deaths per 100,000. And that's annual deaths among children per 100,000. I'm not exactly sure how they tabulate this, but the numbers themselves of what actually that the most at risk for is very, very helpful. A child is four times more likely ages one to four to die from the Fauci virus to die from flu pneumonia than from the Fauci virus. Four times more likely. And that's the CDC's own data. .2 for COVID. How about children 5 to 14 years old? Is there a massive risk of children 5 to 14 years old? Such a massive risk that we now need to forcibly inoculate children using either Pfizer Johnson & Johnson Moderna vaccine. With side effects that are growing and questions that are increasing. What's the number one cause of death for children ages 5 to 14? Answer cancer. The next cause of death? Vehicle accidents. So if a school is going to be consistent, if the school is going to start mandating vaccines, if the state of California is going to be consistent and start mandating vaccines, they need to say young children ages 5 to 14 are not allowed to ride in cars anymore. If it's all about safety, it's the fair thing

'You Will Be Assimilated' Author David Goldman on China's Contempt for the U.S.

"China is not an enemy. And I think that's important for people to clearly understand. China is a rising power, China has been a rising power since Deng Xiaoping in 79. And they are going to develop themselves in our developing themselves into a great power. That is not to say, however, that they are an enemy. They're not an enemy. They're just a great power. That's according to the chairman of the joint chiefs when he was speaking in his private capacity as chief of staff of the army. The NATO summit, maybe that explains a lot about Mark Billy. We'll discuss the realities of what China thinks they are to us and how they're eating our lunch with the man that we always rely upon to tell us about the geo strategic reality in Asia and in Beijing. A sub gorka it is an honor and privilege to spend fine with you, sir. Thanks for the invitation. I just realized I'm looking at the cover of your book that the Chinese dragon has a pair of iPhone ear pods in. That's a very nice little touch there. I missed in the past. David, we'll talk about Millie. We'll talk about the truth of China Beijing. Xi Jinping and everything else. But first, I have to ask you. The imagery of these super cargo ships off the port of LA, the president of the United States saying, oh, no, don't worry about it. And then Jen Psaki saying, oh, that's a high class issue. People having the Christmas present. So that's, you know, the pipes don't worry about that. Let me ask you, let's think like the Chinese Communist Party for a moment. What does China think of the fact that America can't unload its cargo ships? The Chinese have contempt for us. They think they can take us. We just published an a four times an excerpt from a book by Chinese economist used to be the chief economist of the World Bank Chicago university PhD. Who says, look at history. Here's my opinion and for this week. I like to. i like. let's say sleeve. I like marvin jones against the cars. Yeah i feel like they're gonna be playing from behind their secondary is in great. And you know. Trevor lawrence keeps keeps going to him. I actually really learned marvin jones this week. I like it. "I drafted at the start of the season and and play the match ups and hopefully exploit that advantage and take bertel advantage of it for the remainder of the season home. Don't play the chiefs every week and obviously it's going to get a little bit hairy when by week set in But if i couldn't move somehow manage that and keep those two defenses on my roster longer. It can do that the better off. I am the advantage. I'm going to have at defense going forward. That's not only true in the. Kfc is true in the f. f. pc as well let's get to a couple of emails here. gentleman that we got from some listeners. We already got john. Phoenix says Before we kick that off another question in a chat room it sounds like Well doesn't sound like the anti johnson got officially ruled out for pittsburgh wasp guy in the chat room wants to know. Jason is deontay johnson. Being out for pittsburgh better for juju smith schuster or is it better for chase klay pool this week. The pittsburgh steelers By the way do take on in week. Three the cincinnati bengals at home so johnson out. Is it better for smith. Schuster is it better Klay pool jason. I'm gonna say juju 'cause now you're going to i feel like you're gonna get those targets now He's more of you know kinda like the receiver right. Chase played pool. I mean they're both gonna get more targets. But i i feel like you know in the p. r. aspect. I think that juju is going to benefit off this more. Which i love because i have a bunch of weeks so i'm okay i'm okay i hope i hope i'm right but yeah i think you're gonna benefit more over this let's let's get into Well let's go to ohio for next question here. Akron specifically dale. He wants to know. Hi jason toss lineup call for me this week in my football players championship. Would you play daniel. Jones is quarterback or ryan's hannah hill. Now this is interesting because daniel jones drafted in a bunch of leagues ryan tannehill was drafted basically as the top twelve option in in pretty much. Every i don't think anybody's dropped them so far. But you look at the match ups. This week ryan tannehill. Yes the indianapolis colts. And that's at home by the way in tennessee. But then you look at daniel jones who has been coming on the last couple of weeks you look at daniel jones in his matchup. This week he gets to face off against The atlanta falcons. This game is in new york. So i think the matchup would certainly say. Hey it's daniel jones. The talent might say ryan tannehill if you could only play one of these guys in non super flex a quarterback one only league like the fcc who. You're rolling with jones or tannahill. Eric and she's gonna hurt me. I play this radio gonna really hurt me. Most my friends are giants fans. And they're listening to this show. I'm gonna have to say. "We may get sent Particularly if we were focused on Receiving core how would you feel about going forward with With pittman they're Based on the health of those players. You know i was actually going back and forth with that because hitting on a on a bunch of teams and honestly. I'm basing my decision. Almost what i saw last night with a texan's right because you have friendships. They're kind of same situation. And i was going back and forth with benching him. But you gotta throw it to somebody. And i figured they were gonna be behind the net game so you're gonna throw it to someone and you know he had to do acts feel like the same thing might happen in that colts game. So i don't bench pitman. I don't think i would bench him just because they got to give it to somebody. He's the most talented guy on that team of the receivers You gotta give it to somebody. And they're probably going to be behind too. So i know i'm i'm starting him and i probably started with compass probably not going to get the same. Obviously you would get from whence quarterback not as talented. But i keep pity in my lineup and i think same thing last night when you consider the quarterback darnold darnold is troubled last night and continue to go to one receiver. Dj mortgage or dj more more and cooks at great game. So i think you're onto something there. And i think you've unlocked. I think i'll make the same move to. Even with these sunday night in late sunday afternoon games. You'll get word. You'll have a good feeling before one o'clock eastern on sunday you set your lines. Y'all have a good feeling one way or the other whether delvin cook is going to play or not so keep paying attention to that for sure I i wanna bring up One other thing from the chat room here heard read. Our boy wants to know Jason is quite edwards hilarious disappointment this season or do you think is going to emerge later on. How do you feel about quiet edwards there when we when we look back at the twenty twenty one season well we labeling edwards. Larry guy lived up to his draft Capital or is he going to be a guy who's letting people down. I know there's still. I mean we're only played two weeks into the season right. He hasn't done anything. He's still not high powered offense. You kinda hoping like all right. Maybe then they're not going to run the ball out there but you're kind of hoping he's still going to get those catches and in two weeks go by and he's still not getting anything they're right. I still don't think he's going to be a disappointment but was getting drafted in the second late second round. He might might not hold that value for that second round pick. I remember holding out on that. But it's not really showing anything and and the rest of the gonna teamer or showing all right. So i still think he's a big part of the offense so i don't know if i were drafting today. I'm sure you probably would agree. You wouldn't go in the second round. Not the way he's playing. That's for sure. And i'm kind of i'm with you. I'm kinda holding out hope. But i'm i'm cautiously pessimistic. I guess the weight of doing it because you know when you draft by words there that high there is a lot to live up to at this point. I'm sort of on the The pessimistic side of optimism. Right now but you know he can easily change your mind only two weeks. We're talking with jason divorce. The guy who manages team all the way up to fourth place from the f. fcc main event after one week of play we've talked about Some i think we touched on the vikings here. And what's interesting is that's going on in minnesota you've just jefferson adam feeling two of the highest drafted maybe the highest drafted tandem receivers out there Outside of seattle maybe with metcalf and it but We're the cowboys he is osborne. Or the cowboys. Amari cooper cd-rom. I know you're big cowboys guy for sure. So you understand how that goes as well but when you look specifically the minnesota vikings and we'll get into the cowboys here in a little cagey. Osborne has been doing great When you consider not only when you consider you know the other receivers in that offense but just the fact that this was drafted anywhere. He's already got fifteen targets on the season. He's transformed that into twelve yards. A hundred twelve Catches one hundred sixty seven yards. And he's gotten into the end zone as well. So jason when you look at the vikings how long u k j osborne can keep this level of production up. I i think he might..

"I think it's gonna get even worse for him. I'm still holding hope only because of that. I drafted him in the summer. Thrown in a bunch of other teams drafted him. So it's almost like say it'd be stubborn with it right. You say you drop into so it's kinda like you're you're hoping wishing that he comes through but i i'm not seeing it. I'm really not. I'm not gonna drop them just because i i got him a seven. I liked him enough where i reached a little bit. I think for them but Maybe maybe michael thomas coming back later in the season maybe that'll open it up for him a little bit. That's the only thing i i think of. I can get separation. And when he does he'll demand the ball and i i you know the first game was weird because it was too easy for the saints and there were there in short yardage situations Feel for as you know. The has people and many times because of inefficiency and then so you could think of a quarterback if your toes that your whole coaching staff. They're going to miss the game because kobe thing. 'cause back that would affect the most. It would most likely the solicit agree. you know. it's very drains. Do we Sampling for cal tech. And i'm joining you guys. He's not giving up home. Thank will be I think before the season's over we're gonna find some utility out of that seventh round draft. Pick say with my fingers crossed. Yeah no i. I mean he. He looked good in preseason talents. They're just soon as regular season started. He's disappointed not just gonna well. You know other area this boy now like you take two teams in the national football league that are designed to rush the ball that that are that are absolutely no no bones about it. These are running teams. That that are built around the rush. They have other talented players in receiver positions but they are complemented the russian game and bose's their alliterative about san does stuff. Even worse is what has happened with the baltimore ravens. Now yeah i i congratulate you know you're talking about wear ups and and of course depending on when you were drafted whether you drafted display forgot him waiver wire Independent you've got him on your team..

"Well i i gotta tell you. Should you know share a little bit of that with one. Pittsburgh steeler rookie running back. Because i think he's done all the work that he can possibly handle carrying piccolo. Was this team i. I was very happy to draft him. Wherever i could get my hands on him and i think we are I think we're leaning towards a good result in a better result After watching them and we do What's your thoughts about jay harris. What do you need him. Just do your propel your teams To to keep this lofty record that you have so far. I think he's gotta get some more yards per carry. I mean he's running behind a bad line. Good thing is that you're saying is the workhorse there. That's that's why. I wanted to drop them too because there's no in them. They're going to keep giving him the ball so whether he gets three yards a carry four. Just gonna keep getting getting ball. So you'll get you'll get. If you get a touchdown you're good right. Yes sir Yeah i i do. I do think i. He's gonna keep getting the ball so regardless he'll still okay running.

"And i it seems like he is going to be the guy to start going forward for the carolina. Panthers walkers and mccaffrey has out so feral not much to say about christian mccaffrey here. It sounds like he's going to be multiple games. I don't know if it was a grade one or grade strain which obviously influences how long he's going be out. But if you have a hubbard on your squad if you are thinking about starting him. I'm not three but we were going forward. How comfortable do you feel about that. What kind of faith you have in the rookie out of oklahoma state. Oh yeah he's in my line up. If i had him and i it was on q. Last night that are announcers Buck and aikman Pretty much exhausted everything. They had in regards to hover. You could see that. There was some lack of preparation. I think any fantasy manager could've handled explains listening public. Just who this player was and at one point. They said Then without mccaffrey. Carolina has no running game. And i think that's when hubbard immediately charged out about ten yards. I really liked the way he ran. I you know. No one's going to replace mccaffrey. This kid in this offense is gonna have to step up and deliver and you know. I think we've always had a sense that he would get some chance this year. In some way to to relieve christian mccaffrey. I didn't think it would come this early in this kind of serious injury. Drafter is going to be rewarded. You drafted this guy in case of this situation or you were able to grab this player before the team drafting and that number one position it good for you put him in your lineup and I think we were we. We saw the quarterback to me is still very challenged here karnal. It's going to be dependent on a short passing game and running back to move the sticks. Hubbard fits that bill freeman fill in nicely around and Yeah go ahead and get just player in your life. Yeah i'm with you man I didn't get to hubbard and a ton of spots. Impact the one league. I have mccaffrey. And i did. Not back him up with hubbard. But i do have hubbard in a couple of other Places so we'll see what happens there as far as the flex position goes. It's interesting because we we know that christian. Mccaffrey is out multiple weeks yet. The carolina panthers have not placed him on injured reserve which would knock him out a minimum of three games so pre- potentially if we you know. Connect the dots here. You would think that christian mccaffrey. Maybe only mrs week. Four and week five and his back for week six that remains to be seen with that hamstring strain. And certainly the panthers don't want to rush them back too soon Because he could be missing more time after that as a possibility i think it's.

I saw the injury the manager to ankles on one. Play a highly unusual injury. I'm glad that he can come back. There's been questions about this players. Tough questions about the players likability. There's questions about the player in a lot of ways but you know if he step up for this really will be proverbial feather in his cap and the team will rally around him and look anyone that gets plenty to take their passing game against the tennessee. Titans they don't want to miss that opportunity. Three hundred yards a game as benchmarks. Sorta the floor for wanna quarterback and expect in. Goodness is coming to you from beautiful chicago illinois for today's episode of the good news podcast. I've got four individual pieces of good news. That caught my eye. I from just outside the city. I call home chicago. Debbie coastal lansky has raised a butterfly. That made it to mexico. Debbie is in orland park which is a suburb of chicago and she has been trying to help out the local monarch butterfly population and from this chicago tribune article. Where i read about this. It would appear that she has won the butterfly lottery. She raised about thirty butterflies at home nurturing. The caterpillars and tagged them with teeny tiny little stickers and one of those butterflies has ended up in the el rosario nature reserve in compo mexico and a chief curator at a local nature. Museum is quoted as saying it is very very unusual to get tags retrieved. Only a tiny tiny fraction of the released tagged monarchs get found so good work. Debbie and next from tampa florida edith. Mirwais traina has broken. The guinness world record for being the oldest competitive powerlifter. Edith is one hundred years old and up until cove it was still lifting weights competitively. She is a former dance teacher and and is quoted saying as a performer and a dancer. Applause was always very important part of my enjoyment. As long as i could get a little bit of applause. I was happier each time. I got more and more applause. I love that. And i can certainly relate. Edith is excited to get back into the gym as soon as she possibly can and get back to competitively weightlifting. Thirdly and this is kind of an update to an earlier good news podcast. Episode california has sent a new piece of legislation to the governor's desk to be signed that requires schools grades. Six to twelve community colleges the california state university system and the university of california system to stock their restrooms with free menstrual products. Starting next year assemblywoman christina garcia said that she was inspired by scotland. Which last year made a similar commitment to provide free menstrual products in restrooms in public places. Which is something. We talked about on the good news. Podcast and finally france will be offering free contraceptives to women up to the age of twenty five starting next year to anyone who wants them. That is the.

"First of all also the greatest group in the world. New with that show, you know been fortunate to work on about three or four projects that on the first day of taping I would go. Oh my God, this is going to be great. The voice was another one. I received about Shark Tank being fantastic the very first day we did blind auditions for The Voice on season 1 the whole crew walked out of there just going this is going to be great. This is going to be fun and seeing them banter between Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. It was a perfect and he talked about characters and nice people. I always thought people who treat my mom like gold has people that I love my mom came to the set one day of the boys and Blake Shelton just treated her like gold so he will always You can't say anything bad about him in front of me because I would defend him on that. Same thing with Mark Burnett Mark Burnett at my wedding talk to my mom for a half hour 45 minutes, you know, which can't say anything bad about him either how people treat especially celebrities incredibly important people treat the people around them and especially the people adjacent to the people around them like your mom or siblings spouses. All those types of things says a lot about a person because there's yeah it takes it to another level Beyond off. Okay. I work this person. I have to be cordial. It's like, okay. No actually enjoy this person. I would have learned about the people around them. I think that says a lot about a person. Yeah and how people you know both those people that are just mention went over and above in talking to my mom. Yeah a lot to me about their character which was very funny too. Because after she met him in his, you know within a couple of months of home After she met him and everything, you know, my mom at the time lived in Idaho, and I said Mom, you know, you want to come out Heritage well, and that's the way my mom talks a little soft voice and everything. Are you going to be taping the voice of that time is Mark going to be there and like wait, you only want to come out to hang with them and see them again. I forget off. That's great. That's amazing. Yeah, it's that's really awesome. What part of Idaho are you I serve your family's from know my sister lives there. So my mom moved up there because my sister has four kids and they all live in that area in Boise area. Gotcha-gotcha. Very cool. Yeah. I was spent quite a bit of time in Eastern Oregon that often crossed the border overnight, Idaho and been in Boise few times. It's unappreciated as a state wage. It's a cooler state that people give it credit for I think I don't think it enters people's radar. But but I actually very like I like Idaho's beautiful into the outdoors. It's a beautiful place. Oh, yeah that whole area Wyoming, Idaho. Montana is just just incredible just incredible totally quite favorite like outdoor area and all of all of America. Yeah..

"Had a meltdown on set about it. All she was so flustered by it all and you know, and I feel bad for the guy but seeing that you go. Oh this show is going to be huge. That's yep. So interesting product for sure, the other thing that happened during it when we were getting ready to Pilot and then go into series one of the exact place that I worked with at Mark Burnett said what if we wanted to have real sharks on the set instead of a you know a video wall, so I had to spend three or four months researching how much charges cost how much the upkeep is all and 1/3 put together new numbers. I mean I was talking to you know, I think at the time someone at SeaWorld, you know about all of this video know they'll die. And then I threw the question out to the people I said, okay. Well, we're on the taping over three months. What do we do with these for the next nine months and no one could give an answer and I go this is probably a really bad idea. Yeah. Let's just use screens instead I go. Okay. Thank you. It's going to be really interesting to be in a position where you could just throw out. Hey, what if we had live sharks and that would become somebody's job to figure out if that's attainable to do. Oh, I got to know more about short care than I ever wanted to know. Probably a good call. I believe sharks have to keep swimming to breathe at all times and would be a tough situation and probably just awful lot of headache. Yeah, the video works just as well. I think I think so, I think so you can told me they were real sharks and I might have actually believed you. So this is a gaming podcast. I love shark tank. In fact, I live a lot of the other shows that you've worked at as well. I spent a lot of time won't you are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader The Voice Family Feud ESPYs a ton of really interesting programs over the years. Now as you work for as you advise a company focus on the gaming space, but one that also has a background in entertainment and TV, how do you see the rise of money.

"So it's almost a fundamental criteria for me if I don't see in the founder themselves or in a co founding team or in their first potential higher. That they've got some sales credit and by first potential higher. Like, I just think sales is so fundamental that they've gotta be part of that system. And I'm I'm skewed in the BBC world, right? I'm not talking about beat ac- here. I'm very skewed B to B world where there is a sales driven. And I'm less from the Freeman world, I'm more in the enterprise world. So from that perspective in where I've done my small investments, it's been it's been around understanding if great technical innovation how do people know about it? How do people how do people become aware of it? And it's it's usually those companies it's a sales problem. But it can be marketing problem if you're be to see more framing, okay? Well, Jason I want to thank you for your time today. Is there a way for people to to reach out to you? If they have questions. Yeah. Happy to so I'm Jason at clue dot com. "So isn't your your classic? This is a big company. You know, it's it's I think it's one hundred thousand employees, it's a big company, and so is a tiny little startup to get in there. I it's one that we really wanted. And so when the door finally opened to actually get the coupes gives me get the demo our that our SDR finally opened the door, and then he and then I get involved, and and I'm in that in that pitch. And I'm talking about the questions try. Trying to end cover a little bit of pain. And I'm getting this. We're pros you guys are idiots. Like, you can't show us anything that you got that. We have audio or pros for pros repress. And then there is a point where I'm like, I gotta stop. And unlike so, let's flip this. What would I miss like why why why would you even bother talking to us? Is there is there? You guys seem like, you know, exactly what's going on. I don't think I can help you and suddenly it made them pause. And they're like, well, you know, why don't we show you and talk about some of the things that we're doing which we had tried to get out of them before. But it we couldn't. And as soon as they started doing that. They were the ones that self revealed the pain in a way that was magical literally they took over the demo and started showing us what they were doing internally and going out and as they're doing it they're going this is so frustrating how this? Literally writing notes about okay? And that was frustrating and they walked through through their own demo of their own internal system, which started from point of ego and pride and turned into a paid reveal yet. But then by the end of the call, we could say, well, this is you know, it was interesting point that you made there. This is our solution helps for that particular pain. And then you you could open it up. So sometimes the ego can get in the way of being able to get those paying questions because your vendor you're supposed to dance, and you know, you can call those bluffs. And in our case turn into a magic reveal pain that turned into a big steel. Nice to it's perfect example and a good story. So congratulations on on big deal. Thank you know, a good one. Yeah. Good. Your company your first one now is a while ago. But your first one was bootstrapped and clue you raise some money. You I think you raise the five million seed. What's the difference? As far as how you approach sales to hire quickly or do what do you do differently? Yeah. I mean, certainly when you have money, you can move faster, and there is an expectation to move faster. So. Yes. I would say that's the major difference. When you are bootstrap. You are so cash flow wear now that you do a lot more things yourself, which is probably a lot less effective fan slows your speed. And so fundamentally, I think the pivot point is on speed venture money gives you the luxury of speed and it comes with kind of like a drug awareness label, right? Like, you don't wanna get addicted to having money and doing stupid things and spending it unnecessarily for the sake of speed. And I I've seen a lot of companies that have done that they start to get you know, they just keep looking at the next funding round rather than actually and spending money on things that they probably shouldn't. So instead of thinking through that distribution of funds on isn't more beneficial to amp up our marketing for demand gen versus hiring another Bank of STR's. In other that analysis isn't done. It's just go go move fast like spent on that spin on spent on that that was that's certainly the fundamental difference of of what you have the potential to do with venture funding. You don't have that luxury when you're bootstrapping. You're just you're trying to get one client to the next to the next and then you can add another body..

"It's true building a company, but you know, the number of times that I think were actually quite a quite a bit of the way there whether it's product or whether it's deal near actually closer to twenty percent half the time, and you've got a plan accordingly for resources that are going to extend you. I've also seen you know, based on that technical founder issued I've seen certainly a massive resilience to sales. I don't do sales. That's not my thing. And in a lot of technical pounders. It takes them a long time to warm up to the concept that they need to be the ones actually actively selling. So that's a massive point that I see over and over again, a super reluctance and a feeling of. No, I'm a computer scientist. I'm not a salesperson at somebody else's to do that. And they'll often get themselves into a bad cycle of hiring. What they believe is their panacea white night. It's going to come in and sell all this magical business. A they don't understand the technical depth that you've actually created as vision for your company and be you've put unrealistic demands on on them in early stage. So until you get in in your features the fire, you don't really understand that. So it's kinda like you gotta have your bad medicine and get out there. And you. Realize it, and then there's also there's nothing like hearing it directly from a prospect or a client of how ugly your baby is. It's pretty easy to fire. The salesperson that says nobody seems to like your product, and you're gonna say Neider lousy salesperson. But since you're out there, you realize it's a lot uglier the jungle. So I really encourage a lot of founders to be the sales person for the first depending on your size fifty deals B two B sales. You're doing it. And then you're influencing a lot of Dale subsequently into to the EP comfort level. I totally agree. I always tell founders that they need to be getting at least the first is even less, but it also depends on the deal size, but ten fifteen twenty deals just so that they could at least know if the salesperson they hire student is telling you the right things or not telling you the right things. So many times the founders will will hire a salesperson. That was great salesperson at another company. But it was a big company, and they already had the infrastructure built. And everything for them. All they had to do is come in operate the system instead of making the system themselves. That's a huge one. Like, we're interviewing a bunch of sales people right now that are coming from, you know, big brand names and. And that's been your experience. And when you can hide behind a brand name you'd opened a lot of doors when your clue in your tiny. Nobody knows who you are. You really have to be on the ball with your value prop. And you've got thirty seconds to make that happen to open the door to kinda great your next couple minutes that may be create your fifteen minutes that maybe create your our demo. So when you can hide behind a big brand, that's difficult. So it was a whole nother tangent on hiring and trying to find those people that different stages seeding series as stage certainly seed stage that entrepeneurship salesperson that can create the vision in paint the picture for folks turn on the lights, which is like the say for people those are very different than the ones that are used to kind of a a playbook oriented, you've joined Salesforce, you've gone through your training for six weeks, you're shadowing, and you're doing things on a very step by step fashion. And. And your leads are given to you or you dig up a handful, and you've got a process, and you move on and your market is in the many, many, many millions. You know, a lot of early stage companies they don't have millions of potential buyers. They've got thousands of potential buyers. So they need to bring in and there's actually another piece to that. Which is there's a lot..

Salesforce founder Neider scientist Dale fifteen minutes thirty seconds twenty percent six weeks
