"That can be searched in kennedy index. But that's pretty darn cool. If you can search use google across all the apps on your phone that seems like a pretty big feature. What what do you make of all those latest beta Have you do like it. Well i don't know if. I like it yet because i realizing so what i did today. The reason having an issue just to explain is that i switch the beta from the pixel for a five g. and i went to put it on the pixel five some having some issues with it right now. I don't know what's going on. But my plan was to use the beta out in the world with senate now that it's finally like we're almost at the finish line. We're almost at that forest. That fourth release because as soon as that fourth release comes then it's like let's say it's the final countdown so that's not really working out for me right now. I'll figure that out as we all know anybody who's been following me on twitter this like last week knows. I've been having nonstop phone issues. Related to my sim not related to the beta. But i just need to bring up doing a lot of phone stuff over here. It's been getting convoluted however somebody mentioned the chat and actually you'll find this if you go in google for the rolling screen shots is that you'll actually get up a little prompt when you take the screen shot that asks if you'd like to capture a longer shot is a really similar mechanism to the one that we see on the one plus oxygen os and so now that we're getting features like this is announced as part of the the big release. It's just making me. Think about all these little features that google has plucked from these sort of third party versions of android the way that these other manufacturers and other companies have sort of complied with what users want. They've taken that. They plucked it and they put it into andrew twelve and so i think the thing for me and this is not really a question that will be answered until the final..

"Here. Oh i'm sorry she's not. She's at a friend's house right now. Oh that's nice. Could you just give this to her for me. I certainly couldn't thanks. Bye-bye poor kid. I've been taking care of him while his grandma's in the hospital he still wits the bed. And everything kidding. Yeah he's a tender little guy he still gets beat up and whatnot anyway So we still feeling pretty good about this. Thirty two piece set here. Welcome to episode two thirty one of monday morning critic podcasts. That scene you heard coming in was from napoleon dynamite. My next guests had a part in that. And she has a long a strong filmography. She's an absolutely wonderful actor We're going to get into plane dynamiting a moment She has many parts. Which include a lot of star wars animation as captain fatima. We go into that in our interview. Just a really great discussion. But the part that i love most with ellen in it is napoleon dynamite so we're approaching the twenty year anniversary from the pound dynamite. We're probably at like sixteen or seventeen. I believe it's a two thousand four release so you know we're getting up there. We're getting close to that twenty year. monumental kind of university. And you know i. I look at comedies today. And i've been on this tangent before. And i'm not going to go on it again but i mean i am just so hard pressed to find a really good comedy and i'm not talking about episodic shows those seem to be fine right. You have shits creek. You have a bunch of other things those work. But i'm talking about a movie. I think last comedic movie. I gave a chance to was bad trip with Andrei and i just to me. Comedy isn't let's be zany in his crazy as we can. And let's piece a movie together because that's what the jackass guys. Did i mean supposedly bad trip was supposed to have a storyline in a plot. It was a tough ride through Literally through that movie. It was very difficult to watch it. I think if you watch eric. Andre talk show. It's one of the best things i've ever seen on television. So it's like. How do you go from the genius of the eric. Andre talk show too bad trip. It really was a bad trip. I mean it was tough to finish. And i usually don't have very much difficulty finishing movies but i will say that. What makes the pulling dynamite. Really really special is has a wonderful story. it's it touches your heart. You can't stop laughing every freaking character in the movie so likable you walk away feeling really good. I mean when was last time you really felt like that about comedy. Okay you know. Take away the last year because you know. The movie theaters were weren't up to capacity but in a normal movie going year. When was the last time you were at a theaters. Wow that's a fantastic comedy or on netflix. I mean i just for me..

"Radio data collection is on a slightly different weekly cycle from streams and sales but airplay wise. Mariah's big third week also started a couple of days before christmas so in the billboard history books mariah was reportedly near one through january fourth but in reality. She was dominating the airwaves and spotify only through boxing day. This has happened a lot with christmas. Music on the charts billboard. History shows that bobby helms's nineteen fifty seven song jingle bell rock peaked at number six the second week of january nineteen fifty eight rock. Hand bandaids do. They know it's christmas. Sony Looks to Have Even More Exclusives For PS5

"You may not have expected this episode this week and frankly neither did we but nonetheless We're back earlier than we had intended from our hiatus because there's just so much darn playstation and gaming news to talk about as the fall season kicks in, and of course, none of it is the PSI release date or price, but we'll get there eventually anyway this week I'm joined by Max Scoville who do. Janet. Garcia. What's up? And are good pal crash bandicoot. Thanks for being. There he is. Of course, we'll get a lot of insightful commentary. He's going to leak level of crash bandicoot for it's about time I'm very much looking forward to it. If you if you look into his eyes to the whole episode, you'll be able to find out every level. No. I do on a preface. My saying of course games come just ended. So of course, a little bit of the team is to the winds Brian is unfortunately out this week Lucy had a doctor's appointment and can do with us. But we have plenty of stuff to talk about this week and thank you to Max and Jennifer taking the time this week to jump into talk about all the playstation and just gaming news ahead of the busy fall, which is technically already started, and we'll get to that in a little bit but I did WanNa sort of start things off with a general playstation topic that came out again I feel like. We're getting all of our playstation news these days from a corporate reports and store listings and just things that come out of nowhere. But are not officials Sony presentations. To fans but this one Sony put out a corporate report for the company at large and there a couple of key things that I wanted to mention on the playstation side of it the the main takeaways from it were one that they're looking to put more games on. PC which we can get to in a bit of a to the other the the big hand in hand thing was that one they want to be releasing a steadier stream of first party games more quickly and two. They are still looking to acquire more studios even though they acquired insomniac in twenty nineteen and INSOMNIAC is going to be delivering to launch window PS five games They are still looking for new studios to acquire us. So I wanted to ask the both of you like what you've enjoyed of Sony's first party output this generation aside, what what did you think of I guess the volume of games there are putting out I felt like there's been a pretty steady supply of playstation -clusive especially big ones. You know like just this year we had dreams the show last part to go Suma. and. Then like third party exclusives like a Predator and the are it's not like it's been quiet for them. Do you feel like they need to increase the amount of games that are being put out on the exclusive side? I would love to see more from like the. Like front of things and I I, do like that. There aren't the less Bjork's loses are the better it is for Vr general because then just like more of those games can be played in disgust but I just really want to see a playstation support Vr even more going for in the Nexgen so I would love to see extra stuff on that front. But other than that. I think they always do a really good job at having a really nice spread of games across genres. It's sort of hard to find to not be able to find a game to play on playstation. No matter what kind of you are and what you gravitate towards and that's something that I really think is a strange and the more they continue acquisitions the more they can expand deep crush on Ras. Max. What about you? Yeah. I mean. I guess I'm pretty happy right now because we don't really know a whole lot of what's coming. We've got a a few piece look forward to in a few new games, but I'm like I'm. I feel like we had there was a pretty good cadence there for a minute and a as long as we're not sort of reaching that point, where was it like three, twenty, eighteen where it just they just unveiled everything and That was that was like. We just got ghost of Sushi mouth like that was. revealed them. It's like. That was Paris Games week 2017. But yeah, they basically revealed every game for the PS four between twenty sixteen in two, thousand seventeen, and then all of those games took from two thousand seventeen to twenty twenty to come out. Like I feel like it's it's less that I assume that there's a bunch of stuff happening behind the scenes that we don't know about I think it's more. I would I would be happier with like a more even canes releases regardless of how often first party games actually come out you know what I mean. Yeah for sure there was definitely I feel like it's definitely this generation in particular have been a lot of, hey this game has this release date in the fall actually coming out in the spring, and then maybe it's coming out even a little later the year after like there were definitely a lot of games that had release dates and I think that's something that Sony's aware of they don't Wanna be announcing release dates anymore unless they're pretty sure they're going to be hitting that release date because. Untreated for in particular I think three or four release dates, and so it's the kind of thing where they probably don't want to have to keep figuring out the marketing budget for when a new release date is going to be unlike tenant which has had seventeen released its since everything happened this year. but I, I was curious what you thought of like in terms of other companies they should acquire because Sony is in a this interesting place of their Sony First Party stable is really well respected. Sort of across the board and for the most part make somewhat similar games when it comes to genre and perspective and all that. Obviously, there are exceptions when it comes to the show and GRANDPA'S MON whatnot. But in terms of the Sony Signature has become third person action adventure semi open world. Games different mechanics in different whatnot but that's what they're known for. Would you want to see them be branching out more I? Remember, when Chun, laden was of course does with Sony he had talked about one of the things he knew they were great out was multiplayer support for exclusive games and he thought that was something they could improve on but I guess, Janet. Starting with like what are what do you think they're missing in their exclusive sleet? You mentioned the of course but like what companies would you like them to maybe acquire if those companies are Interested. Yeah. So I mean they have a lot of the heavy hitters, which is great problem to have because a lot of the things that we would always come to mind they actually did so yeah, that's awesome. A one studio that comes to mind for me would be supermassive games which I know is kind of unlikely considering they just gotTa deal with Namco to do the dark pictures and theology, but I love story driven. Experiences and Sony's known for doing that. But through the lens of adventure while supermassive libraries a lot more or choices narrative driven I think it's really cool. They have that VR background. So like I said earlier that could help with that PS VR library as well. So that would be my main

"Good morning. In the news birdie Giuliani, the president's personal lawyer speaking yesterday about what you can or what you cannot release from the Muller report, the Democrats are being fair. There are laws that have to. One under the criminal law. If bar would release grand jury testimony or make a mistake and release it. It's a federal felony five years in prison in order to release the grand jury testimony. He's going to have to go to a federal judge. You have to get an order to do it just with the Watergate prosecutors. So there you go. Yeah. And he said he and the president or four releasing a all of it, right? And they have been a really the president this past weekend. So the exact same thing if you think about it, then that takes away the whole political football aspect of it. Right. Because it was I don't know. In the last few weeks, probably started with the Democrats somewhere. But then of course, we know the vote in the house. Four twenty two zero. While the Senate majority leader blocked the vote he's saying look give it some time here. And then we'll vote on it. When the Justice department has had time with these documents and this report. It's not going to happen right away. But let's move to other news here because really the most important news. Have you fill out your bracket yet? The New York posted the greatest thing ever. Yeah. What they what do they do? They came up with the Muller madness rackets. And it's not just March. It's been going on for. And we're not near the finals yet and Muller madness. And the brackets are about the media pundits. Who got it? The most wrong. I mean, this is just the the the best. Now, they don't break it down like the brackets ra- basketball, or it's like, you know, east midwest south, west, whatever, right. They they break it down into cable. Okay. That's good cable print network. And Twitter Roddy. Twitter. Yeah. Right. And and so in cable. The first round because there's different you go through the you go through different rounds. I mean, you fill out the bracket actually got the brackets are Rachel Maddow. Against Ana Navarro. Okay. John Oliver against Donny Deutsch morning morning. Joe goes up against John Brennan. That's interesting. Don, lemon goes up against Chris. Hayes of MSNBC. Okay. The Bill Kristol against Natasha Bertrand from the Atlantic. Mhm? Jonathan shade against Ryan. Liz of the of Esquire, Paul Krugman against Jennifer Rubin. Max boot against Adam Davidson of the of the New Yorker, I moved from cable into print, okay? On the other side is network. Alec Baldwin and SNL against Brian Ross, former correspondent of BBC. Jimmy Kimmel against Chuck Laurie from banged right flashed an anti Trump prayer in the sitcoms credit in October. Okay. Do do you know what he does? Yes. So. Pardon me at the end of the sitcoms. He puts up these little and they just flash for a moment. But if you have a DVR, you can go back, and you can read them. And there are these thoughts of his often politically far far far far left, including that one the anti Trump prayer while. So the other one this network now Stephen Colbert against KENDALL Indian of NBC, and then finally now this one joy Behar might just move forward. Because there might have to be I don't know if Michael Irvin. Eddie gets disqualified from the brackets are not no that's an automatic. Well, no, actually, I would say thinking of that that actually gives him more credibility. He's been charged with something. Why I don't know. That's a tough Bracken joy Behar against Michael Eddie. I don't know. I I wouldn't see I don't think I don't. Honestly, I think they're seated wrong. Yeah. I don't think they shouldn't be playing each other in the first round while the big heart team works, you know, has been working every day. But let's face it. The the money the big money has been with avenue at least the Nike money. Oh, wait. No. It wasn't with avenue. And I don't and I don't know some of these people. I'm not gonna mention the Twitter Roddy avenue wear Nike shoes on the court. That's my question. Does he have a sponsorship in the works? And the Twitter Roddy you've got like Laurence tribe. Okay. From Harvard Law School, he just been off the rails against Robert deniro. That game. Mike go into overtime that first round game. No that you know, what that could be a marathon game that could be one of those that really goes into the middle of the night Elissa Milano against Seth Abramson. Okay. And so they go Kathy Griffin against Richard painter the law. Professor see I don't think that's I think. Yeah. They are Kathy Griffin. Should be going up against listen Milano in the first round. Yeah. Or joy Behar or job a. Yeah. Exactly. Let's see New York. You've screwed this up completely. Right. We know what we're doing come on. Wait a minute. They actually do have them seated. Funny. I didn't even notice the seeds. Seeded one through eight. That's great. I love it. So now now this this kind of quality ideas, what brings people the newspapers forget about the crossword puzzle. No, no, no, no. I was it used to be jumbo member. Jumbo. Yeah. I'm going to do. Molar madness goes vote for your winner at can go online and tell us why did you vote for the winner? Do you have to do the entire bracket? I think you have to do the bracket who would be who would be the worst. Oh, man, you think of everybody there who would be the worst. You know, I'm looking at a Brennan moves a huge way me he'd beats anybody even morning Joe because he had because he had a certain credibility. Yeah. They say the weight goes with Brennan because I I look at the cable when they've got mad on viral Oliver Deutsche morning Joe Brennan, Don, lemon, Chris Hayes. I think Brennan comes out of that bracket. Yeah. I think so out of the next one sorry. I gotta go with Bill Kristol out of print immediately. Jonathan shape may be gives them a a a run for it. But Bill Kristol wins that once he got in and crystal in the in the finals of that one side and then on the other side. I mean, it'd be between a joy Behar and Evan Eddie. For the network. You know, I'm looking at it. The other side. I don't know. I mean, I don't probably. On twitter. I don't know on Twitter, right? I know if we did a Muller madness opposite ones people that have defended it that without question. The winner would be James, what's yes. Exactly. Not even that's not even a question. I can't I can't pick the other the other ones. I can't pick. I I don't know. But I think the winner would probably come would be. I think it has to be Bill Kristol or John Brennan. I think it has Brennan. Yeah. Because he brings the most credibility to the others and. Crystal lost credibility a couple of years ago. Wait a minute. When I say, I mean weight of his former position. Yeah. The weight of where he used to be. I don't mean that he's credible. Yes. Nothing. Let me rephrase the perception of credibility. Brennan brings yes. Why don't they have Clapper in there? That's a good question or call me. Call me not in there now because he really wasn't. He wasn't. He isn't a cable. He wasn't hired by them. Well, technically. Yeah. Technically. For now. Okay. He didn't get paid. Well, wait a minute. He got a promotion for his book. Yeah. That can maybe he should have been in in. Well, he can't be because he's part of the he's actually part of it. But then again, readiness part of it. Wow. We've got a molar madness scandal already don't we know? I I think so. I mean Alec Baldwin is just portraying Trump on SNL. How would call me not make it? Clapper. Yeah. Because they have been in the they add right in the media. Now, I selling a book, I think still I think it comes down to Brennan, I think Brennan is your champion there. I think that's it. And ebony really wasn't there. The all the two years. Right. Right. You know, he sort of appeared eight months ago months any jumped on the whole collusion thing for obvious reasons. Right. So. Yeah. So I'm sorry. I'm being quieter because I've studied my brand. On the radio can you in the case of avenue? Can you claim your your trophy? Number one. Can you claim your trophy while in prison and number two? This is the winner get invited to the White House. I just got Bill Kristol, Mr. never Trump, Mr. collusion, Mr. wrong. Oh my gosh. Mr. wrong while. Oh, and they act. Yeah. Because I would have put Kimmel up against a where's Colbert. It's called bear not on the he's on the list. Okay. Okay. I would have seated him with Colbert. Yeah. Yeah. He's he's down right below cable. All right. With KENDALL alien. All right. Yeah. These some of these were seated. We're going to have to rearrange. That's so funny that we've really never talked much about Robert deniro, but he's lost. It a few times. Right. It is fun to see. And he's not hired by the networks. Komi should have been now. He's in. He's in Twitter Roddy, always part of the Twitter ATI group record, right Twitter Roddy. And Elizabeth I mean, she moved she'd probably would move forward except she just she's just a. I don't know to me there is there's no substance to any of these people. But I mean, there's just a I don't know what it is. There's a hollowness there. Yeah. That I don't think she gets out of the first. Yeah. I that's that's so funny. And then she starts asking questions when she's she did that the other day. Someone said you're asking a lot of questions that we we thought you had all the answers. She was asking all these questions on Twitter. I'm telling you I have to the the last two days. I've said it already I always approach Twitter. Even when it's the most, you know, the when when the mood is not as light as was yesterday to a variety of different things. But I always approach it with that attitude, and I've said this before where I set my mind and say this moment only don't get involved in the back and forth because you take it as entertainment, but the last two days and yesterday, especially. I got home. I I went grocery shopping, and I probably got home at two I did not get off Twitter until I went to sleep around five. Wow. I never now. I was communicating with people friends of is communicating with them as I'm on it. And and. Sending them forward them different things that were on Twitter, and we were doing it back and forth to each other taking screen shots and everything else. And we were just having a blast with it. But I mean, it was it was a ton of fun. It really was. Yeah. I can't even tell you the stuff James woods said. No, no, no, no. You can't even just, but it was I mean, it was it was a I take it was a war. But it was you know, what it was it was people on the left with whether it was Chris cillizza or politico, you know, when they did their whole thing about you know, what happened and then said, but Trump hasn't unified the country together, right or Chris cillizza talking about what did he specifically?
