2021 Emmys: Winner Predictions for Outstanding Drama Series

"Let's talk about some of the nights. Toughest categories the emmy for outstanding drama series goes to margin. Which show do you think is going to take it. I hate to be so predictable. But i honestly think the crown i know. Aaron doesn't like it which tells me it's the only thing we've ever really disagreed on show. Well written is so well active. It's so well depicted. You get a sense that you are in one of the most iconic and well known families and what they have gone through so i just think that. They deserve their roses. I'm not gonna say fully dislike it with the full. Stop a man. He just hasn't evolved yet. Let me let me let me. Give you the pallet cleanser. You need less fresh. let's night. I will turn you onto the crowd. I'm gonna make sure that. I took four naps that day. Prior and then i'll be fully energized and ready. And maybe maybe i should do it post pregnancy so i really don't falsely anyway moving on as we're snoozing on the and made stale like handmaid's him when they're up for a nomination they take it home. They sweep in many categories. So i'm just excited that they're back on this platform to again. Really good picks. I'm leaning more towards handmaid's tale because it was so action packed. And i felt like elizabeth. Moss's directing debut was unbelievable. However we love to give a sendoff. We love to give a proper send-off pose this final season. The cast the story lines. What was written on that paper and what came to screen was so unbelievable. Right and it was life imitating art and art imitating life with billy porter storyline. So i think if you weren't oppose fan when you heard it was a final season. I feel like a lot of people got into it and i think they're going to be able to take it and they did already take home. Some creative arts emmys. the word drove. I mean it was to die for. That show was fully entertaining. You went through all the fields with that so don't really anyone's game. Yeah really out out of all three of those. It really could

Inside Look at World’s First 3D-Printed Rocket

"Now to our series the new space race in our exclusive inside. Look at something that could revolutionize space travel. It's the world's first three d. printed rocket. Here's jacob board. It wants took thousands of american engineers more than a decade to get something into space. Now this company says it's huge three d. printers can make a rocket in two months. Maybe less we have a fourth generation printer if you haven't talked about publicly yet but it's ten times faster printing than this so instead of building a rocket few slides in sixty days. It'll take six days. Not only can the company make the big parts of a rocket like a nosecone but they can also make all the intricate components of the engines to one zero. The first launch plan for twenty twenty. Two relativity rockets is like a lower budget competitor to spacex carrying satellites for nasa the department of defense and a half dozen private companies at about a quarter of competing launch prices. But with one point three billion in funding it doesn't exactly feel low budget clients. I'm assuming are going to pay you enough to somehow make this all work more than enough to justify it. We make twelve million dollars launch from the customers. We signed up. We've signed up more launches than any other company in history before flying. Ellis doesn't just want to make deliveries into orbit though. I want to put a million people in mars. How far out into space do you think a commercial space industry can take it. It's really about the time line. And i think i liked it very much to back when we found founded the new world with christopher columbus. Yes certainly it'll be government. I dislike the new world was and then it'll transform into commercial. Ancient ambitions built on new

"State farm. Is there now once again. We're GONNA BRING BACK Jason Air to discuss episode four Jason. We left episode three with Robin going out of quote Unquote vacation to Vegas. I mean you started episode for with a very interesting music choice. I know how much you care about these music choices. So tell us about this election. A big pundits don't want to be a player in bars. I think of. What would you be listening to at that? Exact time when that happened in January of Nineteen Ninety eight. You're in a club in Vegas. You look over. And there's this big dude in the corner like look at that. Guy. Looks like Dennis Rodman while I know it's not Dennis Rodman because they're playing in Washington tonight. Rodman what would you be listening to that big pond? Don't WanNa be a player it'd be on. I mean there's obviously like the low hanging fruit of the PUN of like. Don't WanNa be a player more. And He's on vacation in Vegas but one of the things. I found most interesting about this occasion. Vegas wasn't the fact that it happened. It was how it ended with Michael Jordan knocking on a hotel room. Okay because suddenly tells me like man we gotta get we get Dennis Back. Who WANTS TO GO TO VEGAS? I'll do that. I'll take this one for the team. I'll go to Vegas. I'll take that trip so tell me a little bit behind the scenes how that happened. Well I think that's misconstrued because I've seen it written a couple of places that he got him a hotel you've got him out of his apartment. He lived across the street cargo. Yeah lived across the street from the United Center. He got his vacation. Part of IT HAPPENED IN IN VEGAS. Of course but he got back and still felt like he was going to do a staycationing for a little bit in Chicago. That's all right. I WANNA walk across. The street is literally across the street so he went with the the athletic trainer. They bangers door and Michael I think he said off camera grabbed him by his nose ring and took him out but that was all. That actually happened I. I wish that we were better at identifying people that Michael didn't get on a plane and go to Vegas and get him but he did. Grab him out of bed and supposedly. Dennis had like a flop house. Apartment has no furniture. It was just like a couch and a mattress in one room with the TV. So he had. What now is termed a bachelor pad? He had a T. V. Bed Or frigerator in a floor counters in in beverages. In all of the drugs that you wanted available to an individual in one of those people that were actually there for young fans out there. That don't know Carmen Electra. Was there she was a winning hurt? All right so when you were hearing about this story and I and I saw. Mj Try to tiptoe around it. Did he give you any sips of some of the things he saw when he went into the apartment to go grab the worm will he literally said? I'm not gonNa tell you what was in his bed and he may not have known because carbon was hiding behind a piece of furniture with no clothing on Wesley. Morris wrote a review in the Times last week and called her a trial balloon for the Kardashians at in. That is one of those people who said Because I don't think people younger people know that Carmen Electra. Like who she was in the nineties this was like she was the number one. Like I don't know what you would call it that. There was no equivalent for being famous while she was an actress using Baywatch and all that she was famous for being gorgeous and then she got a role she was kind of her and Pam Anderson and his whole slew of women who came along. Kinda played that rolling nineties culture so that was was as much in the style jazz. It was for her actually being a key player in that story until a lot of whole share also and also the to address the elephant in the room. If you were to look at a blank canvas at both of them you would think Oh. She wouldn't want nothing to do with him. And then all of a sudden they're a great couple hanging out having fun. She's super famous and successful. He's an athlete. Tatsuta piercings everywhere. Would you learn about that parent? Well that's documentary that so much a pickup. We left off. I will give you the transcripts for research told us so many stories about. He took her coat at a bar. They're they're both at this bar and he wanted to talk her took her coney wouldn't give it back until like she would agree to go to a diner was him and his boys. That night Maybe that wouldn't fly in today's climate. But I think it's GonNa work for regularly but their first date. She told me they're driving along in his truck and he gets on the highway going the wrong way and starts driving at traffic on the high so we all know what. Jalen would say if he was on a date with Dennis. And he's doing that but little things that we couldn't fit into this 'cause it's like some chapters deserve to be longer than fifty minutes but we had to get it down but she saw him. She saw the Dennis out public. She saw you know the shy vulnerable. Dennis when they're behind closed doors and everything in between but I'll never forget that story of her saying the gets on the exit ramp. She's like what are you doing? And that is called. Raise the excellent traffic on the freeway. And that's just the first day in what became a long relationship with tells you a lot about the draw of Dennis Rodman but this episode four was focused on Indesit Rodman but also told the backstory of John by the name of Phil Jackson who is not just instrumental to this particular bunch of championships but other ones as well especially with the Lakers and when you saw him we've all heard about the Zen Master and Montana and then all of this. What was IT LO-? Is that like that experience for you to go interview Phil Jackson in his home court. So we went Philip very insulated and you have to go through a number of people to get to fill and I never I still to this day. Don't have Phil's information or sellers email or anything and we were going through somebody else and we were told by this conduit that he was waiting for us in Montana on a Tuesday so we went out there. And it's tough to get to. It's a couple of flights. It's gorgeous out there But it's a couple of flights to get there. We get there on a Sunday and we shot cenex on Monday Just to establish nowhere fill is is from of which we ended up using that one. Flower shot that you see but we often entire day. Not a bad day at work was actually really fun but but we use that one shot so on Sunday and Monday. We were scouting out his house. 'cause we thought will interview him outside or inside so we drive by this house in nobody there. Nobody they're no cars in the driveway. We get there for the shoot on Tuesday morning and we go to this. House car in the driveway and I walk up to the door and knock on the door and someone who looks like the opposite of Phil. Jackson answers the door. This guy is much shorter much wider than Phil. Jackson is this Phil Jackson. He said I think you're looking for the one next door so we go through these trees and there's this house there knock on the door again. He's supposed to be expecting us. It opens the door stuck my hand out said. Hey coach Nice to meet you. I'm Jason Hair he said and I was a crazed fan who found his secret. Montana layer and I saw basting at the door slammed in my face. I explain to him what this was but this was August of two thousand eighteen. This wasn't even on the radar yet. This project for people so he literally close the door. My face wow. I mean not rudely but said like not rulli lightly close the door and so I and everyone's looking at me like what are you GonNa do cry. I'll go back up there and try this again. And he was on. He was faced timing his daughter when opened the door and she was saying. I think that she used to work in. Mb Entertainment and and she knew about the project and knew some of the guys on the crew so then he was really nice and we. We needed. We needed a lot of time out of him. I was thinking we do two interviews with him because he's so crucial to every single story but we can only get them once and we sat down with him for five and a half. Wow five and a half hours five and a half which is a long time to sit there. And he's he's got bad hips. He's got bad knees aback. Sat there he. I'LL GIVE HIM CREDIT. He said to me. Who's putting the story together? I said me and he said what research have you done? And I said well over ten thousand pages. And he's what books he really wanted to know that the story was in good hands and for him to feel safe that he could sit down and talk to someone who understood. You know where we're going. And what a comprehensive view of of the whole time was he. He takes it seriously. They all do But he really really did. And he's incredibly smart guy. He's just one of those. It's just like palpable. You're dealing with a different kind of person when you're there so it was quite a day. Jason. We're now four episodes in and for anybody reads books. It's like different chapters. That have kinda all melted together as one and Phil Jackson now clearly as a common denominator as the head coach one of The Times. He was on the sideline Scottie. Pippen had a migraine versus Detroit. Pistons in game seven another time. He was the head coach. He allow Robin to take a vacation. Another time he was coaching Scottie. Pippen elected to have surgery on company time because he didn't WanNA screw up his some so in talking to feel. How do you feel he now? Looks back at scenarios like those with no regret he is remarkably present and he and Michael share the same quality and that Michael Probably learned some of that from him. I think it's in his DNA. But I think Michael really took to the Zen teachings in in the mindfulness Phil taught that that was not like he. That is how we lived his life and he got these guys. Think that way you wake up in the morning you see what problem is in front of you and you deal with the problem. Then you don't look back and you don't look forward. What is there right now are Scott. He's not here. How are we going to figure out way to stay afloat in the East until he comes back? Dennis needs a vacation. If I don't let them take that it's going to be a problem. He has a different set of rules. Team has to understand that. That's how we're going to deal with that problem today. Scott he's GonNa Migraine this game. How are we going to deal with it? He's offers I five Let's get him Outta there. Let's see what else works he I mean he's got eleven to show for it man and a lot of people say you've rolled walls out there and plays get. Michael is the Kobe. It's not like that at all. It's it's not just having the basketball accurate and being brilliant with XS and Os. It's being a a really astute manager of personalities and people think of the Egos in that locker room shack and Kobe and they still managed to win multiple titles. Scotty Michael Dennis just the personalities and still managing to to manage all of these people into get what he got out of them. So he's tremendously impressive guy. One of the impact of Phil Jackson was obviously the Bulls were successful before Phil Jackson. God they're under Doug Collins and that there was a discussion the film which I thought he did a really good job of piecing together about the way that Phil Collins I mean Doug Collins coach the Bulls and it was hey give Michael during the ball is focused. Let's focus on offense around the greatest player I've ever seen. Let's do that. It's a good idea and then Phil Jackson instituted the triangle offense and sort of sharing the ball and utilizing the team in the open player of that nature which allowed them to get over a certain Hump. That is very close to the heart of my cohost. Jalen Anthony Rose. Who has told me the story of the Pistons? Losing to the Bulls walking up the court without shaking their hands. I don't know four thousand times over the last nine years Momentous Sports Alex you were watching this in episode four. What were you feeling Jalen and Jason? After that what? How did you piece that together storytelling? What's so when I was watching it? I was reliving it and ice quit and I feel like I see myself walking off with them. You can't tell me I wasn't with them Jacoby when we talk about rivalries in sports this embodied it like no other not only. Was there a professional disliked but there was a personal disdain. We talked about ISIAH being left off the Dream Team. It was allegations that Isaiah froze out. Mj and the All Star game all of these. These teams are in the same conference pisses at one a couple of championships. They Physical William J. in so when the Bulls finally got to that apex of Ninety One and.

"And and so. I think that perspective most players that I've been around their career Iran's three years before they think it's going to end and so usually when it's time for it to be over your surprised by that's how it is for ninety. Nine percent sounded the guys and so a perspective of someone who's kind of been on both sides of it. I think is important make sense. Did you the report. The packers forty niners squirrel I in the NFC amazing considering considering both teams have losing records last year in the AFC. The Titans and chief will battle it out with these super bowl trip up for grabs. The final overreaction on this Monday the packers and the forty niners the forty. niners going to Miami Victor. This is an overreaction guys mainly Eh picking the go pack go into Rogers is shown me that he can get he can just get it done. He can flat out get it done on and the reason he can get it done as because devante. I think the way he gets the ball to him. I think the chemistry that they both have and listen. I can speak to a little chemistry between a quarterback and receiver. I've been there many. And when you when you're on the same page with your quarterback like they are you feel like you are untouchable. You go through these practices you understand exactly how you WANNA WANNA attack this team. And I think they're doing that as we speak. And I think when you have that level of confidence between your quarterback and you're wide receiver only good things come from that and the niners are going to have their hands full trying to guard Devante Atas because he's a spectacular town. If it does happen. Aaron Rodgers will go nine years between starts in the super bowl largest gap ever by starting quarterback. which would break the record previously held by John Elway when eight years between his superbowl starts to the super spotted? Say but that. That that overreaction or no okay okay the only thing I agree with field. It's not I'm no reaction and it would be the longest right like I think the issue is. I don't think the packers can block the the forty niners I just. I don't think they can the banged up at tackle. The last time they played them they couldn't block them. Aaron Rodgers as we scored eight points. They really struggled offensively and I think when we look at the niners now I think they're better now than they were last time. They played on the defensive side of the ball. So thirty seven. Nobody surely that offense one hundred like yeah it was. It was really bad. You have to think they're playing better as well. Though that that that Green Bay offense a little bit I in Aaron Rodgers can create offense and volunteer Adams great but if you just get dominated friends friends who we saw weekend it team that dominated the other team front. They won the game. Look look at the. Vikings Viking seemed to run the football a A. Rod as he's not going to be a sitting duck in that pocket. He's going to be moving around. He's not going to be an easy guy. Just come and sit back there seven yards in being attacked by Joey. Bosa thank you for that information new. NFL live from our Texans reporters. Sarah Barshop Bill. O'Brien hasn't met with owner Kalmyk near but when asked whether Texans will hire a GM he said the way. I see it right now. It stays the way it is here are sounds of the weekend.

"The Patriots camera to continue to deny any involvement percent zero involve the Patriots have not earned benefit of the doubt. illeg has the truth will be on there. Stephen Strasburg two hundred forty five more money than any pitcher Brad Garrett Cole Three Hundred Twenty Four Million Anthony Renzo two hundred forty five million black baseball players this year having army since the start of the two thousands. The Knicks have made the playoffs only five times talk. Lavar Jackson the single season rushing record for quarterback in NFL NFL history. Eight trust will Friday Friday the thirteenth edition of the Friday for on outside the lines on Ryan Smith. Nothing creepy here. Just a bunch of sitting around with a couple of cameras rolling remind you of anything are big. And they're videotape situation. Not only what you to call it a gate just yet because it's not we I don't really know what it is but back to. The matter is couple of Patriots people employees or whatever. You WANNA call them. We're seeing shooting the field of the Cincinnati Cincinnati browns Cleveland Cleveland Browns Cincinnati Bengals game and now the. NFL has that videotape and the discussion is what is on. That tape is something there to show that they intentionally tried to get information about their future opponents bengals or was this just an inadvertent mistake. What do you think well? It's been dubbed spy gate. Two Point Zero. I think that diminishes the real spy gate. The real spy gate was an operation that happened for years at the Patriots. Used I think to gain advantages over a lot of teams. Seth were Shannon. I reported that forty games. Actually were involved in the spy gate operation. This is one instance and you you know it was diabolically smart. This is aggressively stupid. On the part of somebody with the Craft Organization the thing that so suspicious about guys is the fact that at the craft productions person is sitting there in a bruins sweatshirt and he is high as a camera in the press box on a tripod. Pointed at the bengals sideline knowing the history or you would think knowing the history so it's a lot of stupidity on the part of the Patriots Organization to not say to this particular person. Look you can't go there or it's going to be a very very bad look for this Oregon by the way. They admitted that they did something wrong. They admitted that this happened. They said it was an accident. Essentially was their statement. It wasn't something intentional. Well I think there are compelling reasons here to believe the Patriots side of the story. I was around around for deflategate last gate. And Yeah Yeah exactly. I was stapled to the Patriots and I remember. Sort of the collective institutional is to to the trauma of that experience of national reporters. Coming in no offense Ryan national reporters coming in and asking. I'm Tom Brady. Can you look America in the eyes and say that you are not a cheater. I remember the Mona Lisa. Vito press conference on the Saturday before the Super Bowl. That Bill Belichick gave where he said he addressed the spy gate situation and said we're never even coming close to that ever again so I do think that there are compelling reasons to sort of think what the Patriots learned their lesson. They were disciplined. It's just too stupid to believe they would even get this clubs. That's exactly what they want to God. I mean honestly who knows. It does seem unlikely but it also if it's not a brazen act of cheating it's certainly a brazen act is you. You guys were saying of stupidity and carelessness considering the way that we now perceive this organization and its conformity or for its lack of conforming to the rules football mine sappers lead but I think you know what I embraced this Patriots Dynasty. Now be about seventeen eighteen years to kind of see the trees for the forest and kind of just say you know what they're just better at whatever they do anybody else winning games winning championships cheating if they have always getting away with it and you know what I just embracing it. You know what those patriots haters out there. We'll see at the super bowl. Can I just say this. You had an article with suffer Shan back in two thousand fifteen and you talked about out the spy gate situation and what Patriots were telling employees to say if they were caught videotaping and one of those things was one of those things worse to say we work for craft craft productions. And we're working on a TV show which is exactly what this particular patriots employees said. Last Sunday he also said by the way to the bengals. Hey if you delete leapt tape. That'd be great too so there's a lot of suspicions. There that the alibi that was used in the real spy gate investigation is now being used in what the Patriots want to go away and the other thing. That vexes me wouldn't advance scout. The told that a camera crews going to be with him and make the point. Hey guys you cannot fill in the field you cannot film. You can't do that kind of stuff. You know doing my job. Wouldn't that happen. I know the football operations says it. We don't have anything to do with it but it just seems like organization. Exact can't be constant. Over oversight oversight job are known for like drilling down on details to something non the football related. He thinks it's something off the field. That's crash productions. I don't have to deal with this. Because it's not scouting its third job. They should have done their job if there is a spy gate. A two point zero. If this in fact was spying operation it is ingenious of the Patriots to create a Web series called dinner job that they create. Have you seen first thing I mean. It's always innovative. Shoddy this thing. It's an employee of the month. Thing I mean I want to hear Ernie Adams. Here's the mastermind of the spy gate a the whole operation. I want to see him on your job. They get caught again. The whole genius thing I think is going away all right when another super bowl this year. Though yeah yeah maybe next time they can do their job and see us. So they're saying all right. Let's talk about our other big story a big week in baseball. A big week for a couple of players pockets including Garrett Cole Stephen Strasburg. Anthony ran down getting paid. Jeremy this is what it's so. Oh interesting right because last year at this time we were wondering where is the money is collusion taking place. Why aren't the owner shelling out the bucks and and now it's quite the opposite three worst clydes in a few days striking billions or a billion something like that? It's also interesting right in. The larger context of baseball is the national pastime. Now he'll jio terrible ratings for the world series up until the very end all star game barely registers a blip in the national consciousness anymore. It's been a lot of talk about baseball becoming a regional local sport not National League anymore the way that the NBA or the NFL is well. I think you still might want to tell your kids. If they've got a choice. If you could choose among those sports east falls a pretty good pretty good bet and become an agent. We'll talk about that a little bit later but I wanna talk about another thing. That happened in baseball this week. which was the drug? Trump policy passed with a lot of innovations guys including a different way to look at punishment not punish people for drug offenses but instead put them in treatment you also also see testing for opioids and then marijuana. THC removed from the list of drugs of abuse. Yeah and I think this makes a lot of sense you know. We talk about the scandal of the Patriots. Maybe the lack thereof considering. It's only been a week and it seems to be fading quickly. Whereas this tyler skaggs scant a true scandal where he was provided opioids by a team? Someone who is there to look out after players and that seems to be something that just hasn't been talked about enough in the off-season I'm happy however that the League is adjusting the rules to maybe prevent such tragedies major league. Baseball really should be applauded here. Commissioner Rob Manfred this this this is a an innovation. Emphasizing treatment over punishment is something that they should be applauded for the players association is also should also be applauded this is really really a great innovation and and something that you'd hope other Major League sports will follow. "Financial goals so just just a really short clip from a very recent keynote presentation where I actually focus on the four futures in this presentation so I hope you enjoy it and we'll talk to you very very suit remember I talked about the four futures earlier today mind meaning muscle and money I'm just going to review one more time a mindfulness approach every single day if you read about any successful lot of people I will tell you that probably the top twenty five most wealthy people in the world and the most people are wealthy people in each industry that you can think of all have one thing in common and that they have some sort of mindfulness Rou- routine daily and that could be journaling it could be gratitude it could be scripture it could be some sort of self reflection in our mastermind group journals that we hand out for people in every single day they list out what are you grateful for today what are you happy in knowing what are your daily priorities are you if this is a binder are you either do it or not. We have what we call a four score. Did you do something for your mindfulness today did you do something to cultivate relationships today did you do something ars movement and watching the fuel that you put into your body today and lastly did you do something to improve your financial standing today we the journal that tracks it every single day we have four score everybody has an accountability partner and on Friday or whatever day they decide they just text him one number twenty eight is perfect for the week twenty one is not good just a number that's it because we are holding one another accountable we are being leaders by holding one another accountable and just this small example of just picking one person that you're going to commit to to hold accountable by texting them a single number that in and of itself is being effective leader because now you have a clear expectation for that particular week we want to try to get a four out of four per day twenty eight and you're holding somebody accountable at its simplest form arm if you have an accountability partner and you're helping them through the four futures you are ineffective leader in that realm next personal relationships okay that's the second quadrant how can I be a leader in the realm of personal relationships in my life we what we call love bombs we suggest that you drop three love bombs every single day and all that simply means is I'm going to challenge you guys to do that before you leave did this room today three people that you care for or that you've lost touch with you just text him and say hey what about you hope you're okay miss you love you love bomb guest who is the main recipient of the positive neuroscience has members their guests who feels better the person that sent the love bomb or the person that received it it's good for both but man it feels good to send on so how are you cultivating relationships the easiest way I have in my journal I create my four three little boxes I commit to three love bombs every single day it could be people that I love from high school that I just you know the years got away from them hey buddy just thinking about you hope you're well loved ball you'd be surprised at what that does for your overall fulfillment muscle movement how can you be at a leader in muscle in movement in your own life by taking charge of all the resources you have at your fingertips never in the history of mankind named has there been so many resources for longevity and vibrancy and a proper diet and how to efficiently work out my workout on most days is sixteen minutes long. I do tomato sets usually I'm going for a run in addition to that just because that's what helps me with my with my with my stress is actual cardio it's not necessary. I can get everything I need in sixteen minutes a day if you guys are wondering about how to do that just go to youtube and search Takada the AP they'll show you a zillion workouts that you can do in eight minutes multiply that by two that's two body parts you are sweating after sixty sixteen minutes and if you can't find sixteen minutes in your day to move that whose fault is that that's you in our group we talk a lot about biohacking and right now we're talking about glycemic variability being one of the big things that Lee is to weight gain if you have a whole lot of glycemic variability throughout the day that can lead to weight gain that could lead to spikes in energy level can lead to being pre diabetic there's a lot of things that glycemic variability actually affects so a couple of us are getting the sounds totally wacky but we'll get a couple of us are getting these implants calling the called the decks com which people that have diabetes where and it hooks up to an APP in our watch so we know that every every meal that we have we can see how much it affects glycemic variability the more the more flat you're humic variability can be the more vibrant the more energetic in the more healthy you'll be and the more stable your weight will be so we're looking at glycemic variability a lot of the people in rupert myself included do intermittent fasting most of us do a sixteen eight which is no food at all for sixteen hours followed by an eight hour feeding window Oh and that definitely stabilizes your glycemic variability and it for me it decreases brain fog in the morning I don't eat anything usually up till about noon every single day and that sounds crazy to some of you but it actually is unbelievably effective for stabilizing thing and there's a lot of positive research says that intermittent fasting is is the way to go so watch your refined carbohydrates look at the back of the ingredients I usually have like a bag rita up here just so I can make the sound if it makes that crunchy sound like the rapper that means it's a processed food on challenge for thirty days to not eat anything that's processed out of a piece of plastic very difficult to do and if you do side that you can't go without processed foods just turn the thing over and if it says anything like canola oil or cottonseed oil or any other kind of rancid oil other than like avocado oil coconut oil or any of the healthy oils been don't consume it that's a rancid oil okay there are we're a little bit crazy as a group were all doing a little.

"But as as many of us, I was recently learned that it's been discontinued. So I always love the stuff dry because just the smell of it is more more powerful than anything else. Like, a really good coffee where the taste relies on the smell right in front of you you pretty much get hit by that. I wave of just artificial syrup, and then the actual serial comes into really do the L U. But you know, we we don't have that anymore. And I'm gonna have to make do is sort of the. Pouring maple syrup on my own golden grams. But as we've all done, you know, like you said, yeah. But I guess if we're going for modern era, cereals, I'm gonna reach for those bread shaped toast crunch cereals that you were talking about. Excellent. Right. If you if you grab a handful of this first of all, wear gloves, surgical gloves will work, but maybe of glove if you really want to be sure because those things will get powder everywhere. But it's because of the powder that I like eating them dry because it really provides sort of a cushion or a pillow on your tongue when it hits you because it's so thick. So it kind of does the same thing that milk does in sort of softening the initial blow serious really easy into the delicious flavor. I'll tell you the if I had to pick one I would probably reach for an Dan, and I have extolled the cereals virtues in the past. But honestly, it's doughnut shop pink doughnut cereal. Maybe hamming folks, if you haven't tried this one Afars to call it kind of new classic. If feels like the kind of cereal it belongs right up there with your your apple jacks in year. And you're, you know, fruit loops dare I say it is an extremely good cereal to really is got that frosted animal cracker texture and flavor and flavor. It is perfect. You know that said I actually really like dryable jacks apple checks is that I've come to you don't think of it in the same breath awhile the time as your cornflakes, you're lucky charms, even though it's been in the game for a long time. But I can really enjoy the apple. Jackson like, it's a little bit more multidimensional. And I think the very pleasurable I think it'd be great jar cereal reach for. Four. That's true. That's true. Which part of the Applejack Applejack really draws you in the apple or the cinnamon. There's a little bit of a sort of crystalline red dotted thing on there. I don't know if that's the app for the settlement. I guess I'm saying is the chemicals, Dan, I really like. Chemicals. Just really align. The stars and form this beautiful constellation eve. The. We've been enjoy your emails of you have a question or something you'd like us to discuss. Are you just want to say, hey, appreciate you talk gravy? It's all serial, but we have a question from a listener I wanted to pose to Dan a movie myself intern. Dan adjusted says. I would like to bring dry cereal to the table. I love to have hit thanksgiving. Anyway, because I love a good dry cereal. Snack. What are your favorites? Is this an unacceptable practice, of course, depending on the need. I eat tummy ache. Sweet snack car much here. My favorites. Frosted mini wheats, probably the best. That's not my editorialize Email. Probably that whatsoever fruit loops cornflakes and kicks not a comprehensive list. But a starting point for further discussion. Additionally, thank you for this show with soothes my exotic tremendously, your friend, Syria. Ana or Anna. Thank you so much for writing. We're glad we help. You are. Absolutely. I just don't understand eighty big baggage I called flakes. I are you up Haret. I don't understand this this Embalse to do this this terrible thing. I'm. I'm sorry. I shouldn't get detrimental. But it's extremely painful for me. I mean, it's understandable. I prefer cereal with. Okay. Of course. Yes, natural. Yes. Of course. Yes. But I also understand that mankind. Humankind rather has not yet perfected a foolproof method of transporting cereal and milk reliably are unless you wanna lug around a half gallon and look for the nearest fridge. Every time you're done or you want to really risk your luck with even the most secure Tupperware, which I felt it can splash all over your pocket. You kind of just got to accept that serial cravings on the go to be satisfied by dry cereal. It's not usually what I want to do. But I've kind of found the beauty in it when you really looking at a cozy situation, and you don't wanna move even the slightest I have found that is very good. If you have kids because you end up in a lot of smearing as where you have time for one handful of cereal, but not necessarily an entire bowl that you sit down to enjoy. And of course, if you one handful of something that doesn't have calories in it. So it south fill like a health conscious way of of taking in cereal. You know, I only have two plants and no one else in my apartment, but I still feel the exact same way. So pick your what's your what's your dry cereal, which which one do you think performs best in dry cereal sense? I I will explain why you formulate answer. I'll explain my car flake saying it's not just because they are not particularly sweet I have found in my experience it if I eat a lot of dry cornflakes, which I have done before the everybody gets desperate. There's this darkest slight. When you're making Cornflake wreaths around the holidays. Anyway, I've found that slight bitterness to like a big handful of dry cornflakes company by milk or sugar. I don't know why this is. But this has been my experience. I so cornflakes my go-to. What about you, Dan? What are you gonna reach for? You know, I was originally inclined to say waffle crisp..

"Make a challenging breakfast experience. And a very delicious way. So I found a box at that same WalMart where I had the sugar cookie toast crunch snafu. But definitely the crunch berries were big, and they taste the same share. It doesn't really impact the taste so much as sort of the grappling texture in your mouth. But I wanted to find out geometrically if they were true to their claim of being three times the size. So I kind of bisected one with my teeth again as one does. I knew if I use a knife, it would just sort of powder in my hands. I had to have really the dental dexterity cleave in twain, but I measured the diameter of both a normal sized one any large size one. So there you go. I gave myself two boxes of Cap'n crunch as well. So all worked out in the end. But I found that through most common metrics these things are way bigger than three times the size of normal crunch berry. So it's it's kind of close to like triple the diameter or triple the circumference. But like from volume perspective, we're talking about like twelve times the average crunch berry close enough to have its own gravitational pull I feel like it would mess up the. The sort of like spoon composure. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. It's really a balancing act because. You only have so much real estate, and you've got maybe three of these berries just taking up the whole situation giving you more of an accidental oops, all Bary's rather than the intentional kind. You know, it's a little sad. I was always a big fan of. Crunch berries. And then I had this. This thing dragons breath, they that they do some places like the like the little they take basically what are tantamount to crunch berries. They put it in liquid nitrogen, and then you eat them, and it makes smoke come out of your mouth. Oh, wasn't there. A big controversy with that. Probably there's that seems to be the sort of reaction desire for pretty much everything. But. It was very bad. And the flavor was so extremely bad and set my teeth on edge that it's kind of ruined me unconscious buries a little, but they were really was it was a very painful, non sweet, non delicious experience that I really didn't love. Tang. Did you overall let me ask you this? This is gonna be a tough one. If you were confronted by Jeannie said that he was going to make one of these cereals crunch, berries or crunch, berries, XL disappear forever. Which one would you would you take for all time? I'm gonna go with keeping the original crunch berries eight that just the Saudi or is it a better experience. It's just kind of eye popping to look at the bowl and have all these giant blooms in their kind of you really have to parcel them out and kind of make a whole deal of it sort of geographically parcel them and give them their own territory in different patches of the normal crunch, and it's really just so much cognitive strain. And I already wasted all that mental energy doing basic math back there. So I can't afford to try and do all that spoon balance when I can just have normal bowl and kind of dive in blindly did you ever? I used to love whenever I already. I didn't. I know. I did it with tricks but for fruit loops done with. I used to love to eat all except one color cereal. And that you see just have like a big bowl of crunch berries or big bowl of grape shapes or or what have you? Yeah. I did that a lot too. But you you kinda reach a similar scenario where it takes you so long to get to that point that once you're there that the ones left behind are already pretty soggy, and you end up having this this soup, and it's kind of just like a kingdom of sand. It sort of melts below you as you start to enjoy it..

And she posted this not one hundred percent confirm. She said rumored image of a slightly blurry. But still kind of translatable sour patch kids cereal box that while may not come from the most trusted source does kind of have logical ties to the way that post who's supposed to be making it and Mondelez international or whatever who makes the sour patch. Kids have done collaborations in the past like orios, for instance, right? What what could we expect from a sour cereal? 'cause I I don't know. I have been many it seems like an unexplored sort of palate in breakfast food. Yeah. There've been there've been a few raspberry cereals in the past. I don't think those really catch on very often. It's because of the tartar nature of it. I actually just tried a one that kind of pretty well fits that. Bill. The cereal box collector friend of mine gave sake who I told you about he he sent me a box like a care package of these OT's cereal, which is like. A serial made in South Africa that has kind of wacky or flavors and one of the ones that he sent me was green apple raspberry, and it actually works like interestingly. Well, it's a lot like some of the sour Laffy taffy. You see? But when you add milk, it really brings it all together..

"There's always a lot of breaking news. This is world that is ebbing and flowing constantly with new serials rushing to the fray or old cereals receding back into that. Great blue crunchy ocean. But we have something in the middle this week. Dan sugar cookie toast crunch making its way back to shore. Yeah, it's been it's been a few years now since we saw sugar took sugar cookie toast crunch. It had a a story. Couple years on shelves where really developed a cult following. I mean, granted I love the stuff. But there are other bloggers practically had shrines to the stuff. They were. I don't know only steps away from printing milk cartons was sort of the lost signs on them. But of another box of cereal. Yeah. With Mel before we get to deepen this bring me in the world of this serial because the toast crunch lies. Interesting. In that. It is not just that the construction actually varies from cereal the cereal. I mean, your French toast, and your sedimentary crunches really don't have much to do with each other's. Whereas where does sugar cookie just kind of fall? Yes, you have sort of the plane square shapes and the tinier bread shapes that are coexisting in this one sort of toast crunch family. But frosted toast trench was a similar cereal that preceded sugar cookie toast crunch, which I believe is kind of a spiritual ancestor that is kind of important in linking. Cinnamon toast crunch to sugar cookie toast crunch because we've frosted frosted toast crunch. Tin was just stripped away. The cinnamon from the original and is doubled down on the powdered sugar really get this vaguely more vanilla than anything. Cinnamon toast crunch experience, which sugar cookie toast crunch than kind of dunked on by adding more of this amazing buttery. Most yield guitar of undertones that really just hammering the scooping cookie dough right out of the bowl kind of feeling around Christmas time. So is this always a seasonal cereal? Oh, yeah. Usually pops up just for a couple of months here at the end of the year. But as we said, it was gone for a couple years replaced by these sentiments star crunch, which many obviously thought it was good. Not hold a candle. So I would assume we could expect to see this star puppet up any day now as it made its way shelves, you know, many people have seen it already at WalMart's and targets I think hy-vee even one of the regional chains. But I actually just got my box today because I went to my local WalMart and surprise surprise. It wasn't out there. They were kind of just proud that. They had already got the pumpkin pie pop tarts. Which is like, okay, we're real proud of you. We'll put it on the refrigerator. But the rest of us are looking for Christmas cereals already. So I I had done my research. I looked on the WalMart website ahead of time. And so that it was in stock at the store, so I put two and two together and thought they just didn't have it out yet and much like what I did with the the dip in dot Syria that came out a few months back. I asked them if they can go look for me, and it's really a confrontation and a series of dramatic moment when you need to tell someone who's already, you know, not probably having the best work day that they need to go back and search through this dark scary warehouse for one bucks cereal for one dude..

"Uh? Friends and welcome. To the empty bowl a meditative breakfast away. Awasthi? I am a fan of cereal. And my name is Justin McElroy. I am a journalist and perhaps envoy of cereal. And I am Dan goo bear. Dan, runs site called seriously dot com, which I can't imagine he said out loud before he typed. It is debate just during service because it is a mouthful. Seriously.
