I have no idea what's going to happen, but as a golf fan, I want the best guys playing plane in like mcelroy, what he thinks about the writer cop. I mean, I don't need to be rude, but it's totally irrelevant because the writer cup is run by the PGA of America, not the PGA Tour. And it's run by writer cup Europe, right? And by the way, there are a couple guys on the PGA Tour that are playing this week by our boy, Jimmy walker, who's a friend of the pot, Jimmy walker, a great guy. And he's playing this week at the Leonard fournette championship out there in Napa Valley. And he's only playing because he was 54th in career money. 5 four. And four guys ahead of him went to live on the career money list. So he moved to number 50 and got a one time exemption to use on the PGA Tour, right? Because you get an exemption for top 50 career money, you get an exemption. Is that into everything or how does that happen? That's a full year. That is a full year. So you get a one year full year. If your top 50 career money, you get a one year full year career, you get a one year exemption. So like David toms is used one river. He was talking about that on FTP. Yeah. But there's a top 25 in the top 50. So Jimmy went from 54 to 50, so he had a one time exemption for an entire year and he's using it. This week, we're using it this year. He's playing the entire year, which that's helped a bunch of guys. Which I think is cool. Even though the guys that ended up leaving, obviously, are kicked out and banned forever, but whatever. Well, until they merge, wish they will merge, they will merge. This is ridiculous to not think that the lip tour and the PGA Tour will figure something out. They will. Norman and monaghan will run on the beach together hold hands and bathing suits and the world will be fine and a year probably. But until then, we've got to figure it out. You're you're y'all big and youth hockey and You know, we all play Canadian juniors, uh and for a lot of players that play Canadian juniors and what look at the different route to develop now between Canadian juniors and Division one N C. Double eight. Lot of people. I include myself. Would probably want somebody to develop in the N C. Double A. You know there is the starts that go to the O A child, the Quebec Major Junior Western I colleague and they're ready to get out and play pro at 20. But there's a lot a lot a lot of players a vast majority of players that at 20 years old, they are not ready to turn pro yet. And own powers got a skill set that's above above and beyond the majority of players, but he will go back to Michigan. And play against 20 year old 21 year old 22 year olds. As opposed to play against 18 and 19 year olds in juniors, and he will play against bigger, stronger players, older, more mature players, and he will learn that way. So if you tell me Oh, and power is going to go back and play and the O h how I would say Okay. I mean, okay, he's going to develop but I don't know. I mean, he seems to be more mature physically and with a skilled than most players in the O H all. Um, well in the in the O H l If you don't mind me just stepping in here in the O H. L he'll. He'll play a lot more games than in college. But your body is not going to see the same games like That's the benefit to development is totally different College He's going to be training and lifting weights. 34 days a week or we're in playing to be playing, or you played twice a week and call it. Yeah. Yeah, but you're also going to be playing against older, stronger, more mature players. Those are the on ice benefits, but I'm just I'm talking about the benefits that are off the ice that you don't have in junior. I don't see. I really don't see any negative at all. "Gonna talk about some of the big talking points from the last seven days firstly old touch upon something that you alluded to in your monday column late and that was the atmosphere at goodwood. Today we're talking about an American civil rights activist whose work began as a student and extended throughout her life and beyond. According to The New York Times her FBI file was over four hundred pages long. Let's talk about Patricia Stevens do. Patricia Gloria Stevens was born on December ninth nineteen, thirty, nine fifteen months after her sister Priscilla who would go on to be partner in many organizing efforts. Patricia was the second of three kids born to Lottie Mae Powell Stevens, and Horace Walter Stevens. The Stevens family lived in Belgrade Florida for most Patricia Youth. By the time she was thirteen years old Patricia was very aware of the discrimination she faced for being black and was ready to protest. She and her sister refused to go to the designated colored window at their local dairy queen. Instead, they stood in line for the window marked whites only. In one, thousand, nine, hundred, Eighty, seven Patricia started school at Florida Am University. Two years later in Nineteen fifty-nine Patricia and Priscila attended a workshop put on by the Congress of racial equality or core on nonviolent civil disobedience. Patricia then started a local chapter of the organization in order to continue the work, she tried to tackle it just thirteen years old integration. The following year on February. Twentieth Nineteen Sixty Patricia, her sister, and some other students sat down at a whites only lunch counter at a Woolworth Tallahassee and refused to get up until they were served.
