Most people at a minimum, they glance at reviews before they make a big purchase. I like to go really deep there, but as many as 30 to 40 percent of online reviews are fake according to consumer advocacy groups. So getting rid of those bogus reviews is an important objective. So retail giant Amazon, travel booking sites, Expedia, TripAdvisor and Booking .com and review sites Trustpilot and Glassdoor are up teaming to form the Coalition for Trusted Reviews that's dedicated to ridding the internet of fake reviews by developing common standards and definitions for what constitutes a fake review coming up with practices for detecting fake reviews and sharing information about how the people behind fake reviews operate. But they don't yet have a timeline on when this would start. So what can you do in the meantime? You got to look at those timestamps. If all the reviews are clustered around the same time, it's a sign something fishy might be going on. Also look at language. Again, seeing the same phrases repeated reviews that could be a big giveaway and also look for verified purchase purchase badges on sites like Amazon. Finally, using resources like Fake Spot, which is a website and app, an you add that link to a review. They will analyze it and tell you if it's too good to be true. ABC's Rebecca Jarvis reporting. The litigation claimed the company took advantage of some customers by offering free or low cost delivery fees, but then increase the prices of the food items for those orders. That was president biden speaking on wednesday when he announced the so-called month of action to encourage more americans to get vaccinated by july fourth. The vaccination campaign isn't the only thing heating up in june fights over voting restrictions transgender rights. And even that elusive infrastructure plan are causing politicians to hit their boiling points across the us here to help us unpack it all. Is sarah cliff. Three percent of americans over eighteen have gotten one shot. Sarah there are quite a few new initiatives as part of the so-called month of action. Can you walk us through some of them. Yeah i think you know. I think of them is really trying to bring down any sort of barrier. That might stand in the way to someone who's open to being vaccinated getting vaccinated. So these are things like a guarantee. That child care will be provided. The biden administration announced a partnership this week with large childcare providers in the united states to watch kids while parents are getting vaccinated. They are going to have some pharmacies. Stay open very late on. Friday nights The first friday of the month so people who might not be able to take off work of accion later in the day they are starting to work with a wide network of barbershops To kind of get the word out to try and spread the vaccine as far as they can and really i think of all of these is trying to take any sort of reason someone who's opened to getting it who's not dead set against it might have to not get it so they really enter even throwing enough you incentives you see this states free beers lotteries like all these incentives kind of say. There's something you could get and we're gonna make the barriers you know is low as possible when you get this vaccine. Anita wise is the biden administration. Rolling this out now. What kind of pressure are they under. Hit that seventy percent goal. Well they are under pressure to their self-imposed goal. And you know as you know. President biden has really put modest schools out there in met them pretty easily the past four months or so so this seat psyche can get their there. It's moving in the right direction except that if you look at the numbers what is happening. Is that the vaccine rates are dropping off so meaning a lot of people that have wanted. It have gotten it you know. They have to now address two things really those who are in a situation where they can't get out they can't find the transportation or the childcare to get the vaccine and those who simply aren't getting it and that's where those incentives come in tickets to baseball games and and we mentioned beer but also restaurant delivery those types of things and i'd say that people in other countries that really have no access to the vaccine are really looking at some of these incentives and really sort of mocking they. They're really wanting it. And they're what we're finding in america's there are people that simply just don't want to get well you mentioned some of the incentives including lotteries in ohio. There was a one million dollar lottery. Set up in one of the will Winners jonathan carlisle. Talked to ohio governor. Mike dewine during a press conference yesterday a just got done with a very very long shift. Living wages for amazon and I was getting ready to depart man for the day. I looked down the phone. And i saw your name my phone and i knew i had a feeling what was out and listen to voicemail and i pretty much almost lost it inside the van he said the lottery was the incentive that made him get the shot but see or do we know how effective these kinds of efforts are in getting people vaccinated nationwide. So we're just starting to learn and we are saying some data suggesting that they are effective. That when states announced these lotteries that you do see a bit of an uptick in who is getting vaccinated. And i think the gentleman who played the clip from is the perfect example of the type of person. They're trying to target someone who is open to the vaccine but doesn't see it as particularly urgent but then here's their this lottery and that's kind of the final push that gets them over the finish line and i think it's telling that you see more and more states creating this lottery. The first one is no. We've seen them roll allowed and other states as well at this point. So i think you know it's obviously not the most traditional policy in the not the most traditional incentive. We offer people to participate in a program. We want them to participate in. These are unusual times and really governments experimenting with whatever they can do to try and get people vaccinated. There are still many misconceptions among the american public about the vaccine including that you need to pay for it. Tell us more about that. Yeah this is something. I wrote about this week that there is a kaiser. Family foundation poll a few weeks ago. That found a third of americans are concerned. They might have to pay for the vaccine which to clarify for listeners. I think that you mentioned rhythm is very important in just to be comfortable with your touch. Jeremy swimming is is really really taken the hold of American League hockey so far this year and it's it's really pleasing to see but it's not a shock from all the Scouting Report all all the people that I've talked to transitioning from NCAA hockey play at University of Maine into his first year of North American professional hockey, but he's got a 5010 record and Thursday is a has a goals-against average of 1.80 and a 9:35 save percentage and he's just really really doing well down there so good things are happening and and dead. And continue that thing let's keep these guys doing down there get him as much Chris time as possible the more experience. They get the better. They're going to be transitioning slowly into the NHL with the song to veterans that we have right now departing soon. What don't were to be put in that work and what you know what differences have you made defense over the last few years? I learned to play that to a game and maybe it just wasn't going right for me then, But I feel like I've done a pretty good job of quite in my own zone.
