"Blocks and go like 50 -60. The DC Council's holding a public hearing on four bills aimed at cracking down on dangerous driving something Drew said he encounters often. Everyone has bad drivers, but the DMV like everyone to wants go fast. He's originally from New Jersey and has a focused concern. To me it's not the speed but it's between distance cars that's the problem. His friend on the other hand is part of the problem local policymakers are trying to fix. In general, I'm I'm pro speeding. Because I'm always late in Northwest DC. Scott Gelman, WTOP News. Now one proposal the council's considering would require a driver's license to be suspended if someone is convicted of DUI three times in a five -year period. The public hearing starts at 1030 this morning. Meanwhile a pilot program being unveiled in the district today will help track down stolen or missing vehicles. It's being unveiled by Mayor Muriel Bowser. DC police will be issuing free digital tracking tags that allow them to find and recover any missing cars. Residents in selected police service areas will be eligible to pick up the tags during three separate distribution events and they'll be required to show proof of residence within specific service areas to qualify. You may get an hour of sleep back this weekend but the time change can still affect your driving and lead to a higher number of crashes. Every time we change our bodies kind of natural time clock or circadian rhythm it messes with us. Matt Camden with Virginia Tech Transportation Institute says in addition to fatigue the fact that it darker will be during rush hours puts more danger on your drive. It's either right after we woke up or after a long day where it could be kind of mentally exhausted. We get into our car and we can kind of let our guard down. Drowsiness unsurprisingly also affects most drivers that hop into the car between 2 and 4 a .m. the circadian rhythm is lowest. We have to get sleep it's kind of the only remedy to drowsiness but if you're in a pinch we do know that caffeine as well. Loudoun County deputies say within the three past weeks they've responded to seven reported fentanyl overdoses involving students at Parkview School. High Four happened inside the school. The Loudoun County superintendent says the school system is working to raise awareness about the dangers of fentanyl. Changes are underway for students at the University of Maryland where officials have updated COVID -19 isolation protocols to allow students who report a positive COVID -19 test to remain on campus. The Diamondback reports that updated protocols go into effect today. They were announced to students by email. Do you a have big pile of candy at home on this morning after Halloween? I know we do here in the studios. It could take a while to eat all of that, so how long will that candy be edible? The afterlife of most commercially made candy could surprise you. Alexis Hamilton, an assistant professor in food safety at Virginia Tech, says candy can remain safe to eat for months or even years. Candies like Doc's, those jelly candies, can last if you store them appropriately, right? So away from like cool dry space, they can last up to nine months typically. How about chocolate candy? So what questions does this now bring up about the strength and leadership? Well look McCarthy right now is you know he's facing revolt from these conservatives the big question right now is what do conservatives want in return? You know republicans can continue to hold up legislation by voting against the rules so what is going to break this impasse? What is going to satisfy these conservative republicans? So if you look at that dichotomy in that situation that we one would say that you know the ball is in the conservatives court they have the leverage right now and they're able to extract these concessions. The question is what do they want and what will McCarthy agree to? All right we'll keep watching and thank you very much for the update. Thanks for having me. "This is the Greg the guard patriots podcast with Nick cabins. All right, this is the game, right? At least the first of the two games we circled on the calendar, knowing that if this division was going to be tight, it was going to likely come down to these two games against the bills the first one is going to be this Monday night. Before we get into the details with Greg, just to set this one up, of course, the Patriots 8 and four bills are 7 and four. If you're wondering how buffalo has played at home, there are three and two, those three wins have come against Washington, Houston, and Miami, the two losses, Pittsburgh, and week one, Indianapolis, two weeks ago, and Greg, what is fascinating about this matchup in the big picture is really how close these teams are when you talk about level of competition and where they stand. The bills, they have the weakest strength of schedule in the AFC. They have the second weakest strength of victory in the AFC. If you're wondering Indianapolis has the weakest strength of victory. But then when you look at the Patriots, the Patriots have the third weakest strength of schedule in the AFC and they have the fourth weakest strength of victory in the conference. So both of these teams are seen as in that top tier in the AFC, but you could argue they haven't really been challenged as much as you might think or you could argue that the AFC is just really one big cluster. When you look at this game, Greg, you know, the Patriots, they're looking to take back that sweep from last year. How do you look at this one in the big picture to start off? Well, I think you're very right Nick to bring up sort of the level of competition for both teams. I mean, I think it's pretty similar. To me, that puts me into the camp where I don't really know what to expect from either team. I mean, you can look at all the stats, the advanced analytics are the same way the Patriots and the bills rank very high and offense and defense..

"And the ravens are, I think the weakest team in the top ten that I just listed, but they have Lamar Jackson. They find a way to win every week. And Lamar's elite. So they can always win a game there. I hope that answers your question. I don't know if that's interesting. I hate ranking teams. I don't like doing that. I don't do, I don't do like a power ranking, nothing like that. But that's the closest you'll ever get. My top four, then four more and then 9 and ten. So I hope that makes sense to you. Again, my top four bills chargers browns, Buccaneers, the four more were cardinals packers, cowboys, ravens. The 9th best team in the NFL, the LA rams and the tenth best team in the NFL, Kansas City. Michael wrote in, he says, as you reach grows, your promise to read every asks that question with your eyeballs will become unsustainable. Glad to see Hawaii's going well. Michael, I love you. I'm glad you're a patron supporter. You're dead wrong. You're totally completely wrong. You gotta realize, I have 479 Patreon supporters. I still only get like 40 questions a post on ask Zach, even if everybody is a page around supporter, wrote in with a question on every single post I'd be fine. I would gladly take 479 questions. I actually at this point do not have enough questions. And my head, I would love to do a weekly like Wednesday podcast dedicated to just doing ask Zach questions. I don't get enough of them. So dude, Michael, I love you. I could easily read a hundred questions a post. I already read like 40 a post, and I could do, I think I truly could do three or 400 no problem. I love doing it. "W G R Sports Radio 5 15 2020 Sports Extend O sports already DIET E, um let me just reiterate the Pat Leonard tweet from the New York Daily News. Pat Leonard covers the Giants from New York Daily News. Reported per source that Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis passed this morning's covid test. The test came back negative, two minute warning. Thank you, Murph, but they have been removed from the facility and must undergo the five day reentry process as close context to a member of the team's training staff who tested positive for Covid. He followed up that Excuse me. This underscores two sides of the coin one. If players were vaccinated, they would not have to be out for five days but to a vaccinated player. Staffer can still test positive for Covid, which can contribute to outbreaks or spread in the building that could compromise the game. So again. That would be Beasley and Davis, who apparently are Out of the facility for five days. Um, again. We have not heard anything official from the bills. Marcel Louis Jacques, who covers the Bills for ESPN dot com, He tweeted out confirming the Beasley portion of that on the topic of Covid. You might be aware of the the Incident. Whatever happened with Cam Newton? Um because of a Misunderstanding, I guess of re entry procedures at some can play in the show. Anyway. He's got to be away from the Patriots were five days. Mike Grt from NFL Network tweeted this per sources, there was a level of frustration internally with the Cam Newton situation. One important member of the organization believes this has quote opened. A window of opportunity for rookie Matt Jones. The team practices today. And then with the Giants tomorrow, before Newton can return, he won't be back until Thursday at the earliest. So quarterback battle going on in New England. Perhaps this gives some kind of an opening to, uh Mac Jones to make a run there at the starting spot. He has looked good. Both actually have look look good in the preseason, but Mac Jones has looked, uh, pretty good. This first two preseason games. That'll do it for us. We're back tomorrow morning at six. Of course, Instigators are coming up next. Enjoy the hockey talk. Have a nice day. Thanks for joining us. Shell. We know from the time you get up to the time you wrap up, there's a lot of meet ups..

"I only know Is it work? That is Rick Jenrette from his conversation with the instigators yesterday. If you missed it, it is on demand at w verify 50 dot com. Um, I'm reporting this And I'm just honestly making sure in this day and age of social media and who is and isn't reporting accurate stories. Uh, this is he's got the old blue checkmark. So Pat Leonard works for the New York Daily News. And he's uh, you know, he's he's legit. I mean, I'm checking the social media account. He is the NFL Giants beat writer columnist New York Daily News. He just reported a couple minutes ago. Uh, on the bills. Here's what he wrote Per a source. Cole, Beasley and Gabriel Davis passed this morning's Covid test came back negative but have been removed from the facility and must undergo the five day reentry process as close contacts to a member of the team's training staff who tested positive for Covid. If you're looking for me to explain all the different covid rules, I'll text Sal because it's kind of confusing. So that is again As far as I know. It's legit story. I don't know that I've seen it anywhere else this morning. He just tweeted out. Four minutes ago from Pat Leonard of The Daily News. Pat Leonard added to that tweet just kind of emphasizing couple points, he said, Uh, the this underscores two sides of the coin one. If players are vaccinated, they wouldn't have to be out for five days. But number two, uh, vaccinated players slash staff member can still test positive for Covid. Which can contribute to outbreak or spread in a building that could compromise the game. Thank you for going through that. Yeah. I mean, there is Obviously, there are different rules for vaccinated and unvaccinated players. And, um, the reentry process, right? This is where I'm going to tell you again. Don't ask me to recite all the rules because it will make my head explode. But its negative tests within like two negative tests in a certain time, period. Like 24 hours. It's a whole bunch of different rules. But there are certain rules that are different if you are vaccinated, as opposed to unvaccinated And it goes to how long you have to be away from the facility Pretty. I think I have that part right? I'm going to move on because it makes my head explode. So that's the deal on that, and we'll see. Um what if anything is mentioned by the bills? Sean McDermott is not scheduled to talk to the media today. Leslie Frazier is scheduled to go at noon. And then the Bills are going to have practice at 12 30. We'll see. I guess we would have to just wait and see if Beasley and Davis around the practice field. But at this point, according to that tweet, they are away from the facility for five days. Quick Bears Update two and then I got instant trivia to get to here. Matt Nagy, telling reporters in Chicago, Andy Dalton will not play their final preseason game because he is the week one starter. So Justin Fields will get the start in their final preseason game again, especially after watching the game against the Bills last week. You might be wondering What they're doing starting Andy Dalton. They are but again, it says Week one starter. It didn't say he's the starting quarterback. Going by literal meaning. He's the week one starter, which of course, opens the door for Uh, you know, Fields will be in week two. It was ESPN. Which show was it I wanted to try and give proper credit. I don't remember one of the eight million ESPN shows that I listened to her watch on a daily basis, Somebody pointed out. Why is it possible that Dalton could start in week one and maybe fields goes in week two. In week one. They're playing the Rams. One of the best The best or one of the best defense is in the National Football League. Really tough situation to throw Justin Fields in so you put them in after you let Dalton play against the Rams. Maybe this is the whole Hey, we gave our word to the guy. When we signed him. He'd be our week. One starter. We didn't say beyond that, but we said week one They play the Bangles in week two. So maybe Don't want to put him in against the Rams really tough, talented defense. He plays Cincinnati, Cleveland and Detroit. The next three games after the opener against the rim, so food for thought Brayton fire up the trivia music. You might wonder I'll give you a little insight as to how my mind works. You might not want insight as to how my mind works. But yesterday I was putting together Why am I doing this trivia to make a long story short? I had a topic in mind that Paul and I might get to on the show today. And it was going to be kind of, you know. Hey, the most enjoyable seasons you've had covering fan, whatever. And I thought, Well, you know what? It was actually inspired by Brayton yesterday who played regenerate call a clip. You know we were talking about generate, announcing it was his final year. One of the clips they played was the JP Duminy overtime goal against Ottawa. And it reminded me of all Wow. The team was fun. We used to love the players. The place would sell out. There would be people standing in the plaza, watching the game on a big screen like it was good times. The long way of getting to. I thought. Okay, let's bring up some happy memories of the Sabres, and we never got to it. But it may be due this trivia question. All right, And here we go. Oh 56 Sabres. We are looking for the top 10 scorers on the 2000 and 5 2000 and six Sabres, which by the way, since we never got to the discussion will always go down for me as one of my most enjoyable seasons as a fan comma. Talk show host here, um boy short of short of winning a cup. I mean, I know they went to the finals, you know, with hashtag and everything, which was really cool. Oh, five. Oh, six. Not sure, a season will beat that unless they win a Stanley Cup. If when? Whatever. Anyway. Top 10 scores Now I'll tell you, they're actually 11 guys. Two players tied for 10th. If you're curious about point range, the leading scorer had 73 points that season. The two guys who tied for 10th had 40. So that's the range we're talking about. There are defenseman on the list as well. There are two defenseman on the list. So here you go. Give me the top 10 scores 11 players on the 056 Buffalo Sabres. I want middle names and exact point totals to Goodness, I'm just kidding on that part. Alright, Good. I've got clues. Whatever you need Clues. I'm ready with clues. Alright. 506 Top 10 scores from the 20 or 5 4006 saver Indeed, sir. Okay, let's go with Chris Jury. Yeah, I think there are two. No brainers. You should get right off the bat jury was number two on that team with 67 points. Daniel Briere. He was number four with 58, however. 58 points in 48 games played for him. That's he's I loved loved and very, very, very, very good. Yes, he was all right. So you got to, and you got four Jochen hash. You know, I didn't think you were going to get Hesh. He is 9th 42 points that season. My clue is going to be one of the better players that Germany ever produced for in the NHL. Let's see you, said two defenseman to defense Can I might as well Just try and get it out of the way Right now. Let's go with Brian Campbell. Very good. He had 44 points. That was a thon. The team the other defenseman, tied for 10th with 40 for 40. I've got two names in mind. I'll throw one of them out there and see if it's right to Po Newman in I was going to say I can give you a clue, but it wouldn't necessarily narrow it down a lot. The clue was, he was one of the many defenseman the Sabres lost in the playoff run that year. You're right. It's Teppo Newman Tempo..

"So there was life beyond that. I don't I don't think That doesn't come close. Romo Weber like that stuff doesn't reach Norwood level like that's it like. It doesn't matter what his career was. That's the moment Hueber had a good career. You could actually remember him as a as an NBA player, a good player and before you Oh, yeah, that's the guy that called the time out for Michigan when they had no time outs and Nancy a championship game. And for that for me in that game. You know? The fact that the Giants had that drive to start the second half that could have been stopped. You know, when what they are about £105 wide receiver bounced off three or four bills. And broke tackles from linebackers that to get a first trial that he had just no business getting. It wasn't like, uh, you know, some Mack truck was coming at him. And and the Sabres are the bills, you know. He broke How many tackles to get that first down. He doesn't get that first down the Giants punt, and we're talking about a whole different football game to me. That lost the game a lot more than what Norwood did. And I think to the college point, if you if you're running to Scott Norwood in this day and age Don't even bring up the game, right? I mean, I think you know it's the worst moment of the guy's life. And I know you said, like, You know, if someone just meet Scott Norwood in public, they're going to want to ask about the game. I would hope If you meet Scott Norwood, you would know Not to ask about the game like that. Just don't even bring it up anymore, like, just move on and ask him about the weather bringing up that game, right? I would just You know, the guy doesn't want to talk about it. I would not even bringing up. Uh, let's go to Al in Washington. You're on W g R go right ahead. Hey, Good morning, gentlemen. Morning. Um, I'd say probably the player I feel most bad for his Brian Miller, especially when he lost lost shootout. For the USA team in that gold match in the final against Sidney Crosby. Especially since every time the Olympics come on. Now they have that Crosby goal every single time on their highlight reel and Yeah. I really felt for the guy when he when you let that one in Do not make a mistake to letter than it was, you know? You know, it wasn't like he caught the puck and dropped it in a matter are or something like that, Uh, you know it. It wasn't great for him from a feeling standpoint, that that you let the goal any wish he stopped it, but Um, yeah, I think it's a little different than what Howard's talking about here as far as you know, making a gaffe that cost your team you know, a world championship. Yeah, I'm trying to think of a goalie moment. And I mean, sure, if you get I mean, it's one thing to get beat, boy. I'm trying to think of a really Embarrassing goalie moment, you know, in terms of hockey, someone tweeted earlier about Steve Smith scoring on his own goal in the crash against the Washington Capitals in the conference finals, Let one in from the Red Line. Went learning from the side boards. Is it Is it and got totally outplayed by olive course Difficult. Is it bad to tell you that I don't remember that? I remember the conference final I just don't remember the hashtag moment. Maybe. I just remember because talked it all out by far and I mean by far the best regular season goaltending had never lived. And He if he had ever spent a whole playoffs. Playing. Regular season Dominic Kosik. The Sabres would own a Stanley Cup right now. He would have done what Patrick wadded for the Montreal came and he would have stolen a cup somewhere, but he he was always okay. He was good. It wasn't He was totally game six that they lost. I mean, he made a lot of great saves, let in one goal. And, uh, until until the no goal, But the one goalie lead in was a backhand from the circle. I mean, it's like I wouldn't expect an East Coast goaltender to let that puck in Latin and scored on a back in from the circle. "The bill doesn't necessarily mean it's a pro and the opinions opposing. The bill doesn't necessarily mean it's a con because whether or not something the pro or con also depends on your view. You might read an opinion four bill and you might think. Oh actually. I think that's a bad thing so just depends on where you stand as well. I think that one of the challenging things that we have run into just recently. It wasn't the case when issued or launched which was the day after the two thousand sixteen election but recently we have seen that sometimes for certain bills. There's not even really well stated or strong opinions on one of the sides and i don't mean consistently democrat or republican side. I just mean like either way and so that has actually been more recent challenges that we've encountered and it has to do. Perhaps with just less people out there talking about the bill. I'm not sure why. Actually i just feel like it's something that we've only encounter in the last six months or so. It could mean because every focus on the elections so they weren't commenting on the bills as much. I remember you had a lot at georgetown interns on your team is political. Leanings something that you are. Cognizant of as you continue to build your team like making sure that you have people representing all different sides of the table. That's a really good question. I asked them. So what political party are you. 'cause i actually didn't know so to go through a whole summer with someone. Inauguration know what party they are. "Know who's not doing great. Google's hardware division. There have been a lot of shakeups and if you have been following along with the news as of last week then you might have heard about some. You might have heard about some t that's been spilled over at mountain view. Hq So as we learned from this very revelatory article published in the information which is a subscription only publication We are actually going to kind of give you the Quick Little T. L. DR points since not everybody can go immediately and read it So I one of the big reveals was that Mark Levin the person who is basically in charge of that wonderful Pixel Algorithm that made photos look so nice He left back in March. So actually since we've been in quarantine probably maybe right before he left who knows So that along with the departure of Pixels Mario Qudos last August which was kind kind of quietly You know snuck under the rug. This wasn't really something that we knew about. I mean we just found out about this last week really Sooner approach I was actually on the latest verge. Cast to Talk Abou this particular report He said that hardware is hard and that Google's playing to continue playing the long game by integrating the Hardware Division with nest absorbing ACC's mobile division and a couple of other little bits. They're just KINDA UNIFY. Those teams versus having them be in kind of their own spaces. He also talked about two to three years for deeper investments to bear fruit. I'm assuming that was you know relating to the Pixel lineup but we are coming upon the what the fourth bill for this one You know this also could possibly tied to the rumors that Google is creating. Its own chipset. And there's a lot of folks out there wondering if that news is something that's going to Kinda herald us into this new age of Pixel devices. What do you guys think or? Do you think this is all just kind of a don't you know? Let's Ya tempest tempest in a teapot. Yes yeah I mean I guess the question is are we worried about where the direction of Pixel phone when you've got the person who's behind arguably the critical key feature of the phones from day one along with another person who's critical to the division as a whole stepping out does does that signal any any warning You know any warnings Well yeah any warning signals around that I'm not sure how much effect this change would have on it. How much of Their DNA is already placed on the Pixel Brand But I mean you know it's also really important too to note that the Pixel devices as a whole hasn't really lived the world on fire. They certainly have done what Google intended for for them to do. I think they probably intended for these. These devices to go toe to toe with with the devices like the iphone and Samsung devices. And they're just not I mean but we are on. I'll I'll take all object to that though based on what though I don't I don't get the sense that Google ever expected this to go toe-to-toe the iphone in any capacity. I think that's I think that's almost a foolish endeavor. I think what I always took away from the from the Pixel. The pixels placement was to create the best in Google class. You know device to show off everything to do with android to really set the bar for Samsung End. A she see end one plus and all the other folks all the other. Oem that are using the the operating system. I think to to try to put out a device that would go toe with the iphone. Would would you know like it's you can after all this time period right? So what you have to do with the lead. By example so in that regard I think the Pixel has been a success. I think I personally never expected pixel sale. I think it would be it would be ignorant. It'd be naive to think that all of a sudden the whole world was going to be using a pixel been you have so many millions of of people who are in the Samsung ecosystem and so many millions of people in Motorola or whatever. It might be so I don't know I and I don't know what their goals are with the program. Who knows. I think if you if you if you create a piece of hardware correctly it. It doesn't have the DNA of just one person it could be said that the fund was Steve Jobs as last big project at has. Dna was all over it. But here we are. You know fifteen years later and that that piece of hardware keeps rolling on. Yeah so I it's. It's the future of the device will be defined by if they can outlive people who come and go and the you know becomes its own entity that other people you know becomes a some the sum total parts of everything every every put into it

However, the speech comes a month after the murder of the journalist Jamal harsher g in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul. And the world was watching to see if anything would be said, well, there was no mention of it. The eighty two year old monarch simply lauded his country's judiciary. And it is at the Beck and call of the ruling family and primarily it's mom been some on these days. He also talked and I think this is interesting actually about giving young Saudis opportunities, and he was talking about jobs. One of the things that home has signally failed to achieve thus far two years into his vision twenty thirty which is radical remake the Saudi economy end of Saudi culture and society, he has failed greed jobs for young Saudis. The unemployment rate is is stuck at about thirteen percent. That's what it was a year ago hasn't moved tall and that's much higher for for for your Saudis, particularly between the ages of fifteen and twenty five we're talking about thirty to thirty five percent unemployment the idea vision twenty thirty you empower the private sector, you create jobs. Welcome to brain stuff from how stuff works. Hey, brain stuff. I'm more in vocal bomb and you've seen the trope a mental battle rages between a heroic character and her nemesis as a struggle wears on, we see the first signs of the toll. It must be taking a trickle of blood. Ruby red appears at one nostril. The strain of invisible psychic abilities is admittedly difficult to illustrate in a visual medium. Perhaps that's why so many authors of comic books television shows and movies turn to this tried and true trope. The psychic nosebleed when blood comes from characters knows it signifies that the character is exerting themselves after all blood vessels can rupture thanks to physical exertion. As many a weightlifter knows. So perhaps psychic powers could cause some sort of cranial pressure buildup. It's concise and visceral in a way that a mere facial twitch drop of sweat or vein throb camped cover. It's become such a common way to imply a mind pushed to its limits that the comics meets medicine, blog, polite dissent has been tracking. Appearance in comics for nearly a decade. The site even gave the fictional phenomenon. A name EPA stacks telepathic the medical term for nosebleed being episode axis. The second nosebleed has appeared in more than just comics. Of course, beyond comic book, adaptations like the two thousand five film. Fantastic, four in the TV series, smallville and media directly influenced by comics like heroes and chronicle to other John remedial like the fifth element Star Trek. And carnival, it also features prominently in the Netflix series. Stranger things in which a mysterious girl called eleven escapes a creepy government laboratory than uses her telekinesis powers against her former captors and some trans dimensional creepy. Crawlies. The internal severity of these psychic abilities is evidenced by the blood that trickles sometimes from eleven's knows stranger things pays homage to pop culture from the nineteen eighties with a Spielberg meets carpenter, meet Stephen king's vibe. So it's fitting that one of the earliest cinematic instances. Of these psychic nosebleed appears in the nineteen Eighty-four Bill adaptation of Stephen king's Firestarter a seven year old girl named Charlie starts fires using the power of her mind evidence to not only by flames, but by the occasional nosebleed. But for some of the earliest psychic nose bleeds, we're going to have to go back to the nineteen Eighty-one paranormal thriller scanners from David Kronenbourg. It's the first film to clearly connect nasal bleeding with psychic exertion in the movie scanners are people born with telepathic Intel, kinetic powers, the extreme use of which makes them subject to nose bleeds and more. But if I powers really existed, how might this work? There's a theory that using psychic powers could raise the pressure of your Cerebrospinal fluid, but pressuring this fluid which surrounds the brain and spinal cord would not cause nosebleed. It would cause a coma. It's actually more likely than nosebleed would be brought on by enthusiastic, knows picking the scientific term for that by the way is epic stacks digital him. While the appearance of nosebleeds adds to the static eighties drama of stranger things, actual nosebleeds can be dramatic and horrific on their own. Anytime a body part starts spouting copious amounts of blood, it's bound to cause a ruckus. It seems, but a small leap connect nose bleeds to fictional worlds. But that's all it is fiction. Nose bleeds are not caused by how hard we use our brains if that were true. Think of all the situations with need tissues for tests, job interviews, presentations, surgeons might bleed more than their patients. The majority of nosebleeds in real life are caused by fist versus nose or finger versus knows collisions infections. Allergy irritations and foreign bodies can also be to blame and high blood pressure can cause one, although it's lower on the list of dangerous than strokes. Heart attacks. Most nosebleeds occur during winter months and are exacerbated by climates that are dry and cold. The vast majority about ninety percent of nosebleeds are of the interior variety caused by the rupture of a blood vessel at the front part of the nose. These nosebleeds are relatively easy to control and usually stop within a few minutes. Post earier nose bleeds are a different story and are caused by an arterial rupture at the back of the nose, a most common and elderly people post terrier nosebleeds are difficult to stop and usually require hospital admission. Of course, all of this isn't to say that we're not prepared to suspend disbelief, just in case fiction starts bleeding over into reality. We wouldn't want to think about it too hard. House to vote on opioid bill this week
"Those members in meetings for the last few weeks and making a lot of headway and i think number one it's been productive that we are trying to get to a agreement on a bill that we can bring forward that could get two hundred and eighteen votes we're not there yet but i think we're moving a lot closer in exchange we would also make sure there would be no discharge petition thing your odds are that there is not a discharge petition whether or not they i don't think they're going to get a discharge petition and you just saw dennis ross come out saying he won't sign a discharge petition and i know i talked as well as other members of our leadership team talk to dennis about his concerns and i think it was important that he and others that we have spoken to that we're going to sign that ultimately didn't sign the discharge petition so you competent that won't happen tonight it sounds like i'm a very hopeful it won't cost more more the more i think the bigger issue is that there are very productive talks that are going on to try to get an agreement amongst republicans on how to solve this problem that was created by barack obama i remember barack obama's the one who said come to america illegally bring your kids to america illegally we're not going to try to solve the problem we'll just look the other way and let somebody else fix it that was house majority whip steve scalise earlier today in washington if they do move to the discharge petition four bills that could emerge from it would range from a conservative bill led by house judiciary committee chairman bob goodlatte republican of virginia to the dream act the house is slated to spend the entire week voting on legislation to address the nation's opioid epidemic including expanding the food and drug administration's authority to intercept and seize illicit drugs such as fennel from entering the united states through the us mail with a total of thirty four bills the house is slated to vote this week and next including four bill packages that the house ways and means committee says carries bipartisan support one bill under consideration that remains controversial it's hr twenty eight fifty one would create a new class on.

Some House Republicans see progress on 'Dreamer' immigration deal
"Go on with my life and i'm okay and nothing more need be done but in this case with this guy it erupted into this this episode that ended up being fairly embarrassing and has resulted in him being arguably harassed by people sending morality bands to his offices hilarious is that my p but you know what what psychologically has to happen inside the heart and mind of an individual for them to be triggered we'll use that language for them to be triggered by the fact that somebody speaking another language in their country that unto itself should not be something that they get you all roundup that's my thought anyway republican leaders are considering to immigration bills this also from the star tribune republican leaders have discussed scheduling house votes on to immigration bills two gop lawmakers said thursday a move they hoped would resolve an internal battle over an issue that threatens to worsen party divisions as the election season heats up under the still evolving idea one bill would resemble legislation strongly backed by conservatives that would curb legal immigration and open the door to building president donald trump's priced wall with mexico conservatives have been demanding a vote on that measure which she appeal leaders say would be defeated the second bill would be more narrowly aimed at providing young dreamer immigrants a chance to stay in the us permanently a goal of many moderate republicans as well as democrats it would also contain provisions strengthening border security in an effort to win gop votes one of the lawmakers set the aim is to defuse a battle that has seen a group of gop moderates tribe forcing houseboats on four bills over the objections of republican leaders and conservative lawmakers so what you have here is two bills that aren't going to go anywhere one because it's too conservative and they can't get the votes to pass it and another because it's too liberal to moderate however you want to characterize it and donald trump will never sign it so apparently nothing's going to happen on immigration one way or the other because.
